Marina Di Vietri is the seaside area of Vietri Sul Mare, located on the Amalfi Coast. It offers a stunning view of the blue sea and is known for its local craft specialty of majolica ceramics, which adorn the historical center. Divided by the Bonea river, this sand and pebble beach provides various services such as equipped beaches, restaurants, bars, and ceramic shops.
Good clean beach. Not crowded. Free.

(Translated by Google) Characteristic area of Vietri sul mare. The pebble and sand beach is partly free (but with paid access, currently 1 euro per person) and partly occupied by bathing establishments. Paid parking everywhere and quite expensive if you want to spend a few more hours on site. But, after all, this is what all the tourist and seaside resorts of our beautiful Italy have in common. A characteristic connotation of the beach of Vietri sul Mare are the two large semi-submerged rocks surrounded by other smaller rocks. (Original) Caratteristica zona di Vietri sul mare. Villa Comunale Vietri sul Mare is a vibrant and picturesque park that showcases the beauty of polychrome majolica tiles, often likened to Gaudi's Parc Guell in Barcelona. The walls, avenues, fountains, and handrails are adorned with a riot of colorful majolica mosaics, creating a joyous explosion of red, yellow, blue, and dove-grey tiles.
Such a cool, artsy little town that drifts down the side of the cliff down to the sea. The restaurants and shops are wonderful. If you like ceramics, you'll love this place.
Phil R — Google review
The so-called “Villa Comunale” in Vietri sul Mare is just meaningless nonsense. It’s basically an artificial walkway with some colorful mosaic tiles – nothing historic, nothing authentic. The fact that this is labeled a “sight” only shows how little the town actually offers. Vietri already has plenty of beautiful natural viewpoints for photos; there’s no need to build an artificial plateau and call it a “city garden.” Good luck finding shade under the few trees here, especially in the blazing midday sun. Completely pointless as a tourist attraction.

A unique and almost empty place to explore and view the coast from. The tiled walls and amphitheatre speaks of the ceramic inspirations that abound in Vietre.

Beach
Sights & Landmarks
Points of Interest & Landmarks
Crestarella is a stunning beach in Vietri Sul Mare, offering breathtaking views of the iconic Due Fratelli rocks and a historic watchtower. The 16th-century fort overlooking the beach adds to its charm, while the lush Mediterranean vegetation creates a sensory delight. This beach provides various amenities such as sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, and toilets. It's known for being less crowded than neighboring beaches and offers both public and private areas.
Beautiful private beach club. Entry for 2 beds and 1 umbrella is €60 for front row and €45 for other rows, would recommend being based on the left to be nearer to bar, showers, etc. There are changing rooms, cold and hot showers (hot shower costs €1), tap water, and a restaurant. The restaurant has a good menu, most dishes €10-15 and cocktails around €10. We loved it so much we travelled from Salerno to use it a second day.
Stephanie D — Google review
Very pretty beach. Not crowded. 12€ for a sunbed on the deck, which was perfect. The restaurant was great as well, very good service from Luca!
Ella K — Google review
Beautiful beach, not overcrowded. We been far from the bar in 3rd row but we liked it as there was not a lot of people and still very close to the water. We enjoyed it a lot. Be careful when ordering at the bar, always ask for the bill as they tried to knock us for €5. Lady looked annoyed when we asked for the bill. Clear water, for 3rd row umbrellas and sunbeds we paid €45 and the first row is €60. All day parking €7
Aleksandra B — Google review
My kind of beach! Pebbly beach that is also very clean, not crowded and has a restaurant and a bar. Paid 20 euros pp to get in, but it was worth it. Would highly recommend even if the descent to get to the place is a bit steep 😅
Michelle A — Google review
Absolutely not worth the price — 25€ per person for what? A deeply underwhelming experience from start to finish. The beach charges an outrageous 25 euros per person just to access a sunbed and umbrella — that’s 50€ for a couple before you’ve even touched the water or ordered anything. And no, that price doesn’t include a towel, a drink, or even the most basic courtesy. Everything else costs extra. Want a bottle of water? Overpriced. The beach area is cramped, and they pack in as many sunbeds as possible with no breathing room at all. You’re shoulder to shoulder with strangers, and it feels more like a beach-themed waiting room than a relaxing coastal experience. There’s no peace, no luxury, and no charm — just rows of bodies and noise. The staff were indifferent at best, giving off a clear vibe that once you've paid, they couldn’t care less. Service was slow and dismissive, and any questions we asked were met with blank stares or shrugs. For the amount they charge, you’d expect at least a premium or scenic experience — but honestly, the beach isn’t even that nice. It’s small, rocky, and lacks the natural beauty and charm that the Amalfi Coast is known for. There are so many better beaches nearby that don’t feel like tourist traps designed to empty your wallet. Would never go back. If you're looking for value, atmosphere, or even basic hospitality, avoid Crestarella at all costs.
Colby L — Google review
This beach is a hidden gem. So so beautiful, lovely restaurant, and the views are magnificent. €75 for two sun loungers from 9-6pm, with an umbrella, right on the water. Really really amazing. Will be back.

Seafood restaurant
Ristorante 34 da Lucia is a family-run establishment in the historical part of Vietri sul Mare, offering authentic Italian cuisine with a focus on locally sourced fish and seafood. The restaurant's location near Corso Umberto makes it easily accessible for visitors. Guests have praised the attentive service and personal touch, with recommendations for fresh catches of the day and delightful starters.
The best restaurant in town! It’s located a bit off the main street, but absolutely worth the short walk. This is a truly local gem with delicious food - and we tried nearly every restaurant in town during our week-long stay. The staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to recommend something tasty, and they even offer fresh fish options. Highly recommended!
Di D — Google review
We went Lucia because our B&B host recommendation. We love seafood, however we really disappointed for Lucia food and service. We ordered one starter and two seafood pastas ( we’ve asked the waiter to change both with spaghetti and he said yes). But at the end they gave us one with spaghetti, one with original pasta which we don’t like the taste. We’ve tried to talk with the waiter and said we’ve asked both with spaghetti, the waiter said this is home made pasta and delicious….. that means he didn’t want to change the mistake. And mix seafood starter is also not good taste for us. We arrived at 7:00 pm and foods came around 7:25, we finished it around 8:00, and the waiter stood behind us and expected us to leave by his sights. We felt uncomfortable and then paid. I think it’s really impolite to expect the guests to leave because the peak hours come. Anyway, if you are looking for a good restaurant with good food , environment, vibes and service, you definitely have other options in lovely Vietri Sul mare. BTW, the lemon cake is good.
Karis C — Google review
I recommend it, simple and tasty menu. The place wasn't busy at all, so the quality was good(service and food). Desserts wasn't good, definitely not home made. It's a bit pricey but nothing crazy.
Ivan I — Google review
I loved this restaurant so much. The staff was amazing and attentive and I knowledgeable about the fresh fish. I highly recommend the insalata pesce (seafood salad) it was simply perfect. I will come again when back in Italy.
Irene I — Google review
We sat outside beneath the awning on a beautiful day. The wait staff was attentive and polite. The American menu was by QR code and ordering could be through the App or by speaking with the waiter. We enjoyed the appetizer with 8 small portions of different fish dishes. This was truly authentic from the ocean and freshly prepared. We shared the lobster for two over spaghetti. A bit pricey though it was plenty for us.
Kathy S — Google review
Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes (gnocchi sorrentino and seafood pasta) but the pasta was extremely undercooked and sandy with little to no flavor. Gnocchi was fine but kind of mealy. Ambiance was nice and service was good. But food was so disappointing for the price.
Virginia H — Google review
The food was delicious, albeit a little expensive. But that's pretty common here. The server was very very helpful and made a great suggestion for fresh fish. The salad was wonderful.

Pizza restaurant
Italian restaurant
If you're in Vietri sul Mare and craving authentic Neapolitan-style pizza, look no further than Divina Vietri Pizzeria Marinara. This old-school pizzeria offers a relaxed atmosphere with outdoor seating, allowing you to savor traditional pizzas made with high-quality ingredients that capture the flavors of the Amalfi Coast. The passion for this humble dish is evident in every bite, as they elevate it to a delicacy through dedication and sourcing of top-notch components.
Our B&B host recommended us this is the no.1 pizza in Vietri, it’s really true. We went to Divina twice during our 5 days stay. The dough was so good and impressive. We especially love “Pizza Margherita” and sliced fries. We highly recommend to have lunch/ dinner here. You won’t regret it. The service is also great!
Karis C — Google review
Best pizza we have ever had! So good we came back for more! Servers were kind and friendly and were accommodating to our rubbish Italian!! We had a lovely meal the food was amazing - and well priced, and there was a lively atmosphere in the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend They were also able to do a cheese free vegan pizza 🌱
James A — Google review
Excellent pizza, really delicious and also some creative vegetarian options too which was a refreshing change (it's nice to have a break from Margherita and Quattro Fromage). The pizza base was also perfection. However the staff do not seem enthusiastic to be there at all, and there was no ice available for drinks when we dined so only 4 stars despite the food.
Sash B — Google review
Popped in for a quick dinner. Pizzas were probably the best of our holiday, delicious dough and fillings. The croquettes are great too, don't skip them! The service was a bit inattentive and slow but perhaps that's reflective of it being out of peak season. Would absolutely recommend for the food, just expect a casual vibe.

Passariello Cantina Mediterranea is a charming family-run restaurant in Vietri Sul Mare, offering an authentic Campanian dining experience. The menu features farm-to-table tapas paired with delightful local wines. Visitors praise the reasonable prices, generous portions, and diverse options for both vegetarians and meat lovers. The friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere add to the overall appeal of this gem on the Amalfi coast.
Wonderful lunch! Our server was Lizabeth from Cuba. She’s very nice and helpful. Food was amazing, tapas style with smaller portions but that allowed us to try a few more dishes. The fried seafood dish (20 Euro) with prawns, fishes and calamari was so tasty! The only issue was the digital menu which we couldn’t get it to the English page.

Went to this restaurant today with my wife staff very friendly /The food was amazing. It’s tucked away down the little alleyway of the main street. I would say probably the best restaurant in that village. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a very nice tapas meal, with the octopus and the fried fish as the top dishes. The service was great too and Lizbeth treated us really well :)

We had some great dinners in Passariello! Not only the food is very special (try the roasted and filled octopus or the tuna steak) but also the service is very warm and welcoming. Total recommendation and worth a wait.

Food:I highly recommend the prawns soup. It's best prawns and soup I can remember. The lobster pasta I would say it little bit lack luster in flavour wise. The croquette tuna fish was excellent. Panciotti alla Bolognese was super good too. Drinks: Drinks are fanastic, highly recommend it! Service: Two ladies there working has excellent service. Especially the one from Cuba. The third waiter needs a bit improvement in her hospitality. Atmosphere: Very nice and romantic. Toilet: Very good toilet, but sink faucet needs to be stronger. Def one of the cleanest and nicest.

Absolute gem! We popped in for a lite tapas meal and some local cocktails. At first we were just going to have beverages because I needed to use the restroom . They were spotless and decorated so lovely. The ambiance is quaint and yet has a modern decor. The food was the best we have had thus far in Rome , Pompeii and Salerno. We had grilled octopus, Tuna tartare and mini burgers. I only wish I had room to try more or more time to eat more. We asked the Chef to come out and meet us. He and his wife were absolutely amazing. Salute!!

Da Giufé is a delicious Italian restaurant with fantastic seafood dishes and pasta that are sure to please. The atmosphere is perfect for groups or dates, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Mussels and clam pasta is a must-try, as is the squid gratin. The wine list is extensive and the prices very reasonable considering the quality of food on offer.
Great quality food and reasonable prices. The pizza is very good and the dough is supper thin and chewy which i really liked. The ravioli and gnocchi were also excellent and tasty. If you are ever in vietri definitely give this place a visit!

Amazing experience at Ristorante Pizzeria Da Giufé in Vietri sul Mare! Agnise was super friendly and gave great recommendations: the Parmigiana and Regina pizzas were delicious. We ended with a perfect tiramisu and lemon sorbet, and I even got a complimentary espresso that truly sailed my senses. Highly recommended!

We wanted something fast for dinner and we haven't had a pizza yet at that point of our week long trip. So pizza it was. Chose Da Giufe from a list of recommended pizzerias and it didn't disappoint. We chose a classic with prosciutto, rocket and tomatoes. But then we went for a wild card ,a pizza with aubergines and Neapolitan tarallo called Sicilian 2.0 ,and it was nothing we've ever tasted before. Quick service , delicious pizza and fresh ingredients.
Linda B — Google review
Amazing pizza - just perfect. The only negative was aggressive hawkers walking off street into restaurant to sell you bracelets and hats - they will not just accept "no" and will keep pleading. The staff did not prevent these people from hassling their customers.
Mark A — Google review
Bring your own atmosphere, because the place has none. The air conditioners inside battled to cool the restaurant. That said, the food was very good. The pizzas were terrific and the grilled squid superb. We ate here twice, and both times were great!

Ordered by server recommendation and and it was a miss. Dumplings were strange in taste and texture. Not quite pasta, so not sure what it was. Pizza was ok. Also took more than 30 minutes considering that we were the only ones there

Foods are really really good. Mussels and clam pasta - so yummy, flavorful. Pasta itself is chewy and juicy. Squid gratin is also my favorite. The seafoods grills are great and crispy. Great food, fair prices! Though the waiters seam to be in a rush while talking to them … which is good to do a quick service but I felt rushing to decide what to eat, overall a good experience, will return .

Delicious seafood! We found this place just off the main road between the beaches and had a delicious lunch. The service was okay and they gave us some fried garlic bread balls for free. I read some other reviews about the service being poor, but we were looked after well and it was all very reasonably priced. We came back a second time and had a delicious dinner too with fantastic deserts. Highly recommend the hazelnut cake!

Nice food. We had salad caprese, mix salad and rigatoni. Service is not that good. Others who got there later were served first. Italian way, I guess.

We are staying in the area and this was recommended to us by a local. We were excited to try it out as the prices seemed really good for fresh food right by the sea. We got two pasta dishes and calamari. Maybe I’m just a super picky eater or this is just the Italian way of eating but we found the flavors sort of lacking! We were the first ones in the restaurant but by 8 o clock it filled out and felt livelier.
