Definitely NOT worth it! Only a few rooms have anything to see, and what can be seen is scarce and unexciting. Additionally, there’s a nasty old lady on the third floor who aggressively asks for your ticket, when there’s no way to enter the property without one! I didn’t see her ask anyone else, so it might be a bit of discrimination on her part because we were speaking in Spanish. This place should be converted into a nice hotel, and that lady should retire to be alone with her bitterness.

It is a great renesonce castle with baroque influence. The location atop of a small hill next to the medival castle overlooking the lake and seeing the whole northern alpes on a clear day make it a hands down recommendation. The restaurant offers top notch quisine for lunch and has a good cake selection for a quick afternoon break. Overall one of the top recommendation if you visit lake constance.

You get a booklet with some translations, HOWEVER there are many interactive exhibits, eg Videos, hanging art, tasting areas etc... that are ONLY in German and you end up missing out on alot. Make sure you also ask the staff more questions, they are efficient in their dealings with the customers. Make sure you save alot of time before 6pm to do the winetasting (cost money 1.5euro per .1l) Closing time is STRICT be wary (We took too long in the museum trying to match the translation to the piece, and missed alot of the tasting also)

This is one of the best restaurants in this area. Location is amazing... Right next to the bus stop of Meersburg right on the cliff of the lake Bodansee and offers amazing view from the windows. The menus is pretty good with good prices. Pasta and pizza are amazing and they also offer variety of deserts and drinks. It's one of my favourite places to visit. Well located directly on the promenade in the centre of Meersburg. The rooms although small are ensuite are smart and clean. Very friendly staff. However, the best part overall is the amazing restaurant that serves some of the best food in the area. Absolutely gorgeous and deserves the highest rating. The staff are all highly attentive, delivering a great service. The ambience is just amazing, fresh flowers provide a perfect backdrop for your meal. I can recomend the Surf and Turf which that evening was the special. They are one of only two restaurants in Germany who really know what a blue steak should be. I'm am sure what ever special is on you will not be disappointed. Cannot wait to return. Brilliant

The chef is an artist. The way she presented the dishes were beautiful and delicious. I returned to the restaurant next day. Unfortunately, it is closed on Sunday afternoon. I will definitely come back next year.

Nice typical German food. Portions are typical German ie big. They have nice selection of snaps, I took an original one of Topinambur.... amazing! What I didn't like is to get a table outside they mentioned a waiting time of 15 min it was more like 35 min and I saw many people taking outside tables which came inside. Now it was better to tell us to take a table inside have a drink to then go outside. There is a small view on the lake

Great place, all good was awesome. I will recommend 1000% Tiramisu was just melting in the mouth. Pizza, chicken breast, fish platter is too awesome. Try to go on weekends, weekdays there is no much vibe and felt food is kind of not fresh. I went on Saturday March 30th 2024 Saturday felt too good. Then again on April 1st 2024 Monday wasnt that good.

Wow. Great location right at the lake. Surprisingly food was very tasty and the staffs were all friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed my seafood soup, the grilled squid with creamy pasta and the warm apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and Caramel sauce very much! They have an absolutely beautiful area upstairs with high ceiling, which I can imagine ones could privatize for events. We'll surely be back when we'll go back to visit this beautiful town!

We had 4 meals for 3 persons, spaghetti carbonara was awful 😖 (no egg used and awful cream to make the souce but I never had onions in pasta carbonara, literally disgusting) the parmigiano was missing, replaced the dish with chicken breast with fries but the fries weren't good either, felt reheated fries. I had a pizza which was a 2 out of 5. Prices compared to what you get are truly imbalanced, another fake Italian cuisine experience. The grilled octopus was good but isl 1 out of 4 dished we had. If you want to pay by card you have to go inside as they are too lazy to carry the POS to outside terrace at your table, even though it is wireless. Will not return here. Whoever wants to eat, just pick some other place.
