Additionally, the destination boasts great infrastructure and a convenient location within São Sebastião, making it an ideal spot for spending days under the sun or cooling off in the sea.
Nowadays there's no Seaside walk by the beach as construction is going on and limited accesses available to enter the beach as the most of it is covered u der construction. quite a big beach, on the left side ideal for kids being repaired (no waves), close all the services as supermarket, banks, restaurants.. nice waves if you like
Andrea A — Google review
Nice beach with nice restaurants and places to stay nearby. The town itself is not that pretty, but it’s cheaper than nearby beaches which you can drive and visit such as Camburi and Maresias.

There are also Waterfalls trails accessible from Boiçucanga.

Such a beautiful place. With very friendly locals. I can't wait to visit again. With love from South Africa. ❤️

What I liked: - the town and the beach looked reasonably not too crowded, allowing us to find easily space for ourselves on the beach and at the restaurant What I did not like: - the town is in fact just a short road with some bars and restaurants, but there is not a real attraction to visit after the beach.
Andrea R — Google review
Nice beach with some structure and some beach-facing things like restaurants. > Traffic to arrive may be terrible, so pay attention to the period you're visiting. Going on off-season periods is better. > It's not the cleanest beach, but water is good enough for swimming. > You will need to consume (eat or drink) to rent the umbrella and chairs. When I went there it was BRL30 consumption per person. > In comparison to other local beaches, I felt very safe in there. People were friendly and never hostile in any sense.

Nice sun sets, not much else to offer, horrible food, bad service, everything is overpriced, seems they are taking everything they can from the fame of medina, don't bother going much much better places to see in Brazil, or better you go visit so less people where we go haha

Maresias is one of the prime locations for dining in São Sebastião, along with other areas like Centro Historico, Barra do Sahy, Praia de Boicucanga, Barra do Una and Praia de Juquehy. While these spots offer a wide range of restaurants and kiosks, it's important to note that not all beaches in São Sebastião have dining options available.

Nestled along the stunning coastline of São Sebastião, Chapéu de Sol is a culinary gem that beautifully marries an inviting atmosphere with exceptional seafood offerings. The restaurant derives its name from the magnificent tree that provides shade and warmth to diners, creating a cozy yet rustic ambiance right by the beach. Whether you're indulging in perfectly grilled salmon or exploring their delightful vegan options, every dish promises freshness and flavor.
The food and ambiance are excellent, our server was very helpful throughout dinner and provided a menu in English when he recognized our language. The grilled salmon with risotto was very tasty and cooked to perfection. We came in the off-season but there is plenty of seating. Pricing is about the same as the other restaurants along the beach.

Bar
Located in Barra do Una, Giselle Restaurante e Bar is a fantastic dining option offering delicious seafood at reasonable prices. The specialty of the house is seafood, with the Badejo being highly recommended. The portion sizes are generous, so it's advisable not to over-order. Visitors rave about the delectable food and drinks, with the caipirinha Caju amigo being a must-try.
The ambience of the restaurant is great. It’s by the river! We ordered the moqueca, it was a large portion and absolutely delicious.
Sumanth K — Google review
The atmosphere is the best feature of this restaurant. We ordered calamari and fried fish for appetizers. They were average. Not bad, but not great, either. The main courses were better. Being situated right beside the river was really nice. It's not enclosed, so if it's cold out, make sure you bring a sweater. There were always more than enough servers. I ordered the chicken with vegetable, and they brought chicken with rice. When we questioned them about it, they basically did nothing. Hence, there are only 2 stars for service. Be prepared for a walk, there is very limited spots for parking.

Great service, spacious place with gorgeous views on the river and the beach in front. We enjoyed the food (fish, pirão, arroz, farofa com abacaxi) and dessert. Recommended.

Excellent choice in Barra do Una. Tasty food and honest prices. Sea food is the specialty of the house. The Badejo is a great choice. One entrée and a dish for one person is more than enough for a couple. The plates are big so you have to be careful not to ask for too much food.

Located in the Litoral Norte de Sao Paulo, Ogan is a popular restaurant known for its contemporary cuisine featuring a variety of seafood, pasta, and meat dishes. The restaurant boasts a relaxed atmosphere with elegant decor and offers a menu that includes vegan options. Guests can savor their meals in a charming Caribbean-inspired setting with white ceilings, wooden floors, and bamboo accents. The professional staff ensures a pleasant dining experience.
Relaxed atmosphere, fine decor and distinguished dishes. White ceilings, wooden doors/floors and green bamboo outside the windows created a very charming and caribbean atmosphere. The personnel was very kind and professional. The menu included seafood, risotto, pasta and a few vegan options. I tried the camarão flambado (flambé prawns) served on top of risotto. The choice was perfect. Prawns were big and the flavor was very mild. The risotto was creamy but you could also taste the red and black peppercorns. Drinks are very nice too. My wife had the Maracuyá Caipiroska. Recommended. For dessert we asked the mil folhas de banana recheado com Dulce de Leche. It was so good that we asked a second one to go. Make reservations ahead, it's usually fully booked.
Fernando M — Google review
A lovely warm ambience. You can enjoy the food on the upstairs terrace which is a little more peaceful. The menu is extensive and has some great combinations of flavours. I ordered a risotto which was a special but unfortunately the prawns were severely overcooked. I asked for just the prawns to be remade and they were a lot nicer. I would recommend a visit.
