Interesting old fortification dating back to 1766 which was repurposed as a cultural centre in 1992 and is now a museum, exhibition hall and the venue for regular concerts. It is just off the main road in Rincón de la Victoria. Nice grounds where you can sit and relax, admire the garden or the Rapto de Europa sculpture.

Beach
Playa del Rincón de la Victoria is a vibrant beach destination that perfectly blends relaxation and adventure. Nestled conveniently near dining options and hotels, this bustling shoreline features inviting palapas, lounge chairs, and even boats bobbing in the gentle waves. Getting there is a breeze; simply head from Malaga towards Velez-Malaga until you spot the entrance sign for Rincón de la Victoria, then make your way down to the coast.
Good beach. Many restaurants on the boardwalk. Main Street has lots of shops and eateries.
Tin N — Google review
Decent beach if ypu don't mind the rocks in the water. The further east you go, the better it gets (less / no rocks). No showers available, decent kiosks/restaurants closeby.
David R — Google review
Very nice, clean and long beach and promenade with restaurant and bars. If you prefer "nature" beach with no anoying do ckchair and parasol rentals, this is the place to go.
Milos B — Google review
Beautiful slice of the Costa del Sol. The beach on weekdays is not too crowded and their is a great walkway going up and down the beach. The walkway goes through many tunnels in the rocks which is cool and there are paths going up stairs over the rocks instead of through them for great views of the Sea. There are multiple kids parks and places to shower and work out along the beach, also a great assortment of places to eat. This simple and free strip of beach was one of my favorite parts of visiting Malaga.
David H — Google review
Beautiful beach with soft sand and clean. Love this entire coastline. Huge amounts of change over the years. Beach showers lifeguards, bars, and restaurants everywhere..
Angela B — Google review
Very beautiful and especially long sandy beach. The sand is dark and partly pebbly and rocky. The sea has cool temperatures even in the hot summer of 2022. The beach promenade has many restaurants.
Stefan B — Google review
Nice family beach with shallow water great for kids to splash about in. Accessible by bus m160 from malaga 1.80 per person a good price for the length of journey. Quite busy on a summers day but that's to be expected.
A R — Google review
Nice clean beach with plenty of space, lifeguards, showers, toilets. Many of the nearby beach bars rent sun loungers and parasols and there are many places for food and drinks along the paseo.

Caverns & Caves
Cueva del Tesoro, also known as the natural cathedral of the Costa del Sol, is a popular tourist destination in Andalusia. Located near Nerja and Frigiliana, it offers guided tours with walkways, stairs, and lighting for visitors to explore its natural cave formations. The tour includes a visit to areas not usually open to the public where ancient wall paintings and handprints dating back 32,000 years can be seen.
Unique in Europe, very beautiful, certainly worth the visit. Closed between 1330 1630 hrs. Parking, toilets, e-guide, easy access. Can book online or pay on arrival. Takes between 30 minutes and 1 hr to visit or more if you run into details.
Marius V — Google review
Though the cage is not very big it is definitely very picturesque. Added benefit of visiting, is the ability to stay off the heat for some 30-45 minutes. You don't need warm clothes, the temperature inside is around 20°C but it feels warmer due to high humidity. You can buy the tickets online which is probably a good option as they are limited.
Paweł C — Google review
It's a super cool cave on a hot Malaga day. ✅ The interior is designed to be very safe, and I don't think it's dangerous, even for children. ⚠️ There's no guide inside the cave, but there is an digital guide. You'll need a headset for this. However, the digital guide only support 5 language. ✅ Free parking is available. ✅ There's no need to buy tickets online, and the queues don't seem to be long.
Serkan K — Google review
This is a perfect and fresh place near Malaga. It's cheap (around 5 EUR for adults), but keep in mind that it's small and can be explored in about an hour. Be sure to download the audio guide before you head down the stairs, as there is no network access inside the cave, and I had to go back to download it. The cave itself is amazing—it beautifully combines nature and history, making it a super cool experience for kids.
Igor M — Google review
The cave was absolutely beautiful and fortunately clean. However, the organization of this place leaves much to be desired. Ticket checks take place at the ticket counter, and the entrance to the area where the cave entrance is located is a short distance before it. Actually, while looking for a restroom, we walked through the door to the second room without checking our tickets, and no one was watching, so we could enter basically for free. There was also no staff in the cave itself, and we were preceded by a very loud group of tourists, and there was no one around who could quiet the group and adapt them to the rules in the cave.

Visited at 4pm - quiet, almost private visit. There were with us only 6-8 people. But we got lucky, because bus tour came with ~30 people when we finished 🫣 Nice cozy cave, with water inside. One section felt like Antelope Canyon. 6€ per person.

Cueva del Tesoro was really interesting. We went in curious and ended up amazed. It’s beautiful inside and there’s a lot to explore. Some parts are still closed because they’re still digging and discovering new areas, which makes it even more exciting. Definitely worth checking out!

Nestled along the picturesque beach promenade, Restaurante Lo de Vito is a delightful gem that captures the essence of coastal dining. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The attentive staff takes pride in guiding guests through their menu, ensuring everyone feels comfortable—even those with limited Spanish skills.
One of the best Menu del Dia places in Rincon de La Victoria!! Small cozy restaurant on the waterfront with excellent menu options and excellent prices. Try their red and White house wines. 👍👍 Make sure to call ahead to make a reservation as it fills up fast. As always, parking in Rincon is limited so plan time for that too.
Beatriz V — Google review
We were warmly welcomed at Lo de Vito, a charming little Restaurant right in the beach promenade. After promptly receiving our drinks, the exeptionally kind server took the time to explain the menu, showing great patience and understanding despite our beginner-level Spanish and tourist status. The appetizers, Empanillada and the Artichokes, were delightful – the best Empanilladas we've had so far. The main courses, the Burger De Buey and the Solomillo with Mushroom Sauce, were also good, though we found the fries a tad too greasy for our taste. The main dishes lacked that extra something for a 5-star rating, but overall, it was a very good and well-rounded 4-star experience.

If you like this review give it a 👍 Small but cosey restaurant. Friendly staff and nice view over the boulevard, beach and ocean. The food is oké, prices are moderate.

We had the lunch menu and it felt like homemade food. Salad to start, followed by tasty cod fish, a fresh orange dessert, and even coffee and beer included—all at a fantastic price. The staff was super nice and helpful. Highly recommend :)

We had lunch and dinner here. Love the small menu since you’ll know it will always be fresh! Had the grilled lamb chops and poke bowl which were both delicious. Lunch was very budget friendly. Menu of the day included an appetizer, entree, dessert and a drink for €11.90. All the food was delicious!

Tapas bar
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Rincon de la Victoria, Casa Antonio Tapas is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This charming eatery, run by the same owners as La Vina de Antonio, offers a menu brimming with Mediterranean-inspired dishes that are both flavorful and beautifully presented. Guests rave about the perfectly cooked pork ribs and tender octopus, while homemade croquetas steal the show with their deliciousness.
This place was recommended by our local host. What a great spot- location was quaint, lively and food was same. Pattatas Bravas were the best we’ve ever had! Chicken skewers were moist and flavored Mediterranean style. Burrata salad was awesome with the pesto! Service was very attentive and patient with our limited Spanish. All in all a five star meal. Muchas gracious!
Patricia B — Google review
As a Briton abroad, in a lovely Spanish coastal town, this was perfect. Good tapas, good main courses, good selection of drinks. Staff were supportive and accommodating, giving good advice, and my poor Spanish was helped greatly by their much better English! Highly recommended. Particular highlights were the grilled octopus, patatas bravas, mini burgers, camembert, spring rolls, lamb and chicken skewers.

Excellent food. A range of tapas and smaller main dishes. No huge plates full of food. Everything was modest size but very tasty. Slightly more expensive than the norm in Rincon but definitely worth it. Efficient, friendly service too.
Woody W — Google review
Good (average) tapas restaurant. Location/Atmosphere Located in hearty, quiet alley with several restaurants. Food/Drinks We tried three dishes: - Burrata (the first one was unfortunately spoiled, but it was promptly replaced): good taste enhanced with pesto. - Timbal de Queso: good combination of goat cheese and duck liver - Pork rib: very tender meat and fell right off the bone. Unfortunately not so special in taste. Overall, the food would be averagely good. Price-performance Good portions. Service Warm welcome with greetings from the kitchen (Queso Pincho). When we pointed out the spoiled burrta, it was taken back immediately and a new one was brought. Although the burrata had already been replaced, it did not show up on the bill. Good customer service!

The two Antonio's on the same street right off the City Hall square became our favourites. Unfortunately we found them during the last days of our stay in Rincon. Casa Antonio is smaller and more cafeteria/tapas bar style. But what an ambiance! The tapas we had were just wonderful, so tasty! And the smiling, friendly service and atmosphere topped it all!

Fantastic food! Best food in town and super nice personnel! Make sure to book a table a day in advance.

Nestled in the heart of Rincon, Restaurante Rincón de Emilio recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of culinary excellence. This charming eatery boasts a delightful fully covered terrace that invites diners to enjoy their meals al fresco. The extensive menu features an array of hot and cold starters, succulent meat and fish dishes, fresh seafood, and delectable homemade desserts that cater to every palate.
Service was great. Lovely man. Food was expectional. 10/10. One of the best places I've ever eaten in terms of flavour.
Nick — Google review
First and foremost our waiter was absolutely amazing. Really great guy who helped us pick our order and was engaging whilst not being in your face all the time. We had oysters which were great. The patatas bravas were also amazing. The croquettes were also good. We had fish dishes for mains. Tuna and monkfish. These weren't to our taste, but they were impeccably presented and had plenty of interesting flavours and ideas. A recommendation from a local and understandably so.

Well suggested place. Fantastic serving with excelent english language. Ordering for further days would get you the beat tables and treetment. The tip is included, allthought also left some 5-10% on top. Very much family kind of High class restaurant with unussually propper and beutifull restaurant serving.

From where we were staying we walked 30 minutes to get to this place and it was worth every step. From the super friendly, family feel, welcome as soon as we arrived, to the sublime food on a varied menu, an excellent wine recommendation and a great price point for the exceptional quality - we couldn't have asked for anything more!

Perfect night, the interior, the music in low tones. The food to die for. Good flavors that stay with you after you have eaten. Daniel the waiter so open and kind. To me, that knows how to cook, its fine dining and a Michelin star from me. My son agrees with me. By far the best food experience in Rincon de la Victoria. Leif David and Bjarki Tómas from Iceland.

Amazing place. Daniel along with the whole personnel was very attentive and the food was amazing. It's also home to an "adopted" and beutiful kitty 😃
Samuele F — Google review
One of these rare places that deserves 6 stars. We've visited this place plenty of times and always returned happily. all of the "Suggerencias" are 100% worth ordering. Highly recommending the Tartar de Atun or the Artichokes dish. Still the best artichokes I've ever eaten in a restaurant (and it's not even close). Highly recommended in every aspect. Also if you like aperitifs, you can ask for their home-made vermouth. If you're not used to sharing plates, I would recommend doing it here, so you can try more of the flavours without locking yourself into a single dish. Great staff as well!

We came in after a long walk exploring and were warmly welcomed by a friendly, helpful barman. We both decided on pina coladas. They were so good we had 2 each. Very happy we found this place, lovely location and great service. We are trying, but our Spanish is not great, so thanks again to the barman!

The place is unfortunately not what it used to be. From one of the best restaurants in Rincón to an okay place. The food is still good and the location excellent but it's no longer the awe-inspiring cuisine it had a few years ago. Some of the prices are unfortunately still from the good old days though.
Bert B — Google review
Very good place, very stylish, good background music, food taste and presentation is excellent, my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the menu is very limited, which i understand but a couple more options for starters and main courses. Staff and service excellent!! Will be revisiting again soon

The food is just amazing. Exciting and adventurous, so good to have something different from the norm and excellently executed. Make sure you book if you want to eat Friday/the weekend. Our go to for special meals now.

Everything falling apart, table was rocking, melamine was hanging from the side. Meat took for ever to arrive, cold in the inside... And even having the bar down below, with 2 fridges full of craft beer, they only had Heineken on tap at the restaurant.

Awesome local dinner experience. The restaurant is owned by a couple and the service is very friendly. We were in many restaurants in Malaga and this one is one of the best (much better than those which you can find at the seaside). I would definitely recommend Pulpa a la brasa (grilled squid), Rosada Frita(very tasty fried fish pieces) and Ensalada de la casa (mixed salad with Tuna).

Excellent food and service! I had Rabo del Toro (bulls tail , which we kiwis small ox tail) and it was the best I’ve had in years. The owner doesn’t speak English and we don’t speak Spanish but he did a great job - very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.
