La Cuisine au Planet is a charming restaurant located in an old French building surrounded by olive trees. The menu, though small, offers beautifully presented dishes that are a delight to the eyes and the taste buds. The outside terrace provides a perfect setting to savor your meal. Indulge in their delectable desserts like baba mojito or verrine au chocolat noir to conclude your dining experience on a high note.
What a fantastic dinner at Le Planet. The entree of escargot and mushrooms in an “open” ravioli was amazing. The porc plat was very good as well. Excellent selection of local wines offered at good value. The service was knowledgeable and very kind. One of our best meals in Provence.

Great local and freshly cooked food, highly attentive service, a delightful setting and a reasonable price (especially when compared to some other nearby restaurants). Would strongly recommend if you are staying in the Fontevielle area

We had a delicious lunch here. We booked but actually there weren’t too many people. We had the 4 course menu. Haddock ceviche as well as tomato soup, fish main, cheese and dessert. All fab!! Very interesting combinations of local ingredients.

Fabulous meal out. Inventive and very tasty dishes, with the occasional amuse-bouche thrown in. Lots of locally sourced and organic ingredients. Beautiful environment & really great service. Can't fault it. Best meal I've had, anywhere, in ages. Starters were heritage confit tomatoes & grains for me, cured grouper fish with raspberry jus for him. Mains were vegetable risotto (courgette, spring onion, mushroom) & pork escalope with courgette, tapenade & parmesan crust, homemade aubergine ketchup. Desserts (forgot to take a pic) were chocolate marchais(sp?) with lemon sorbet & a very special apricot puree with ice-cream, Chantilly & almonds. All were delicious. As was the organic wine, and the aperitifs.

LOVE THIS PLACE! We stumbled upon it by chance, but we will find reasons to go back to Fontvieille to eat here. Unfortunately, it is harder and harder to find haute-cuisine like this. However, they deliver! A casual, laid back setting with excellent food.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Provence! The menu changes with the seasons. Everything is fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented.

A restaurant located in one of the small streets with a splendid terrace to dine. You can choose from a limited number of dishes, but eacht one was absolutely fantastic. Although not over sophisticated, the flavours surprised. You can choose 2 or 3 courses, i weny for 2 for only 25 Euro...and for this price you get some excellent service as well.

Nestled in the charming town of Fontvieille, Le Patio is a delightful restaurant that invites you to experience its unique ambiance reminiscent of an 18th-century shepherd's dwelling. With original decor elements like an old watering trough and a grand fireplace, it offers a cozy yet elegant setting for diners. Chef Jean-Pierre Cote draws inspiration from the rich culinary heritage of Provence, crafting creative dishes that celebrate local flavors.
What a delightful, charming little restaurant with a lovely shaded terrace. I had a three course set menu and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in France!

Great little place with a lovely courtyard for dining. Loved the food. The presentation and flavours were exquisite. A bit pricey but definite value for money.

Superb evening meal. Really enjoyed it.

Nice garden with atmospheric seating and a child friendly back, with friendly cats and a couple of turtles. Plus for the good kids meny. Adult food was excellent, traditional and well made French fare and good service. High end but still relaxed.

Photo doesn't do it justice - chicken is to die for. Carpaccio starter or goats cheese recommended!

Food was quite good for me (lamb), my wife's fish was outstanding - she said. Entrees were alright for me, my wife was happier I guess. The desert for me (sort of ice cream with pastry) was excellent. Prices are alright for the quality of the food. Service was pretty good except the 10+min waiting time for the beverages.

We had lunch at this small restaurant in Fontvieille and had the most wonderful time. The menu was put together well and the meals were executed fantastically. Had the lamb shoulder that was wrapped in phyllo which was delicious. Someone else at the table had the rabbit which was equally good. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

This was our best meal in 10 days of France. I'm especially grateful for the kind and thoughtful way the waiter handled my special dietary needs, but also the food and atmosphere were outstanding.

Bistro
Le Bistrot du Paradou is a charming restaurant where you can enjoy a delightful dining experience. The ambiance is lovely, especially if you sit outside on the terrace. The waitstaff are friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, such as Soup au pistou and lamb cutlets with mashed potato and mushrooms. Additionally, the cheese board and Vanilla glace for dessert are highly recommended.
Fantastic! The staff were lovely and welcoming from the minute you arrive. The setting is beautiful and the food impeccable, great value for money. All wine is included in the 75 euro per head as our waiter said “1 glass or 10 bottles costs the same”. House cocktails were also great. The standout was the lamb main course and crème brûlée for dessert. Beware the cheese platter is HUGE but amazing nonetheless. Would highly recommend!

Bistrot Le Paradou – A Cheese-Laced, Wine-Soaked Triumph Let’s get one thing straight: Bistrot Le Paradou isn’t a restaurant. It’s a Provençal fever dream, the kind of place where wine glasses never empty, laughter hovers in the air like perfume, and dinner turns into a bacchanalian affair that spirals gloriously into the night. It’s deceptively unpretentious at first glance — rustic chairs, tiled floors, white tablecloths that have seen things. But darling, don’t be fooled: this isn’t some quaint countryside lunch stop. This is dinner with a capital D, where you’ll rub shoulders with people who’ve perfected the art of leisure, all while pretending not to notice each other’s gold watches and recent facelifts. We were there for dinner, of course. And what a dinner it was. Let’s talk food: Snails? Sublime. Buttery, garlicky, herby explosions of decadence. I’d bathe in that sauce. Poulet? Good — well-roasted and seasoned — but not earth-shattering. You eat it because it's part of the rhythm, not the showstopper. Cheese platter? Oh mon dieu. A slab of soft, sharp, oozing glory. Some aged to perfection, others so bold they practically slapped me across the face and called me a tourist. Magnificent. Mousse au chocolat and crème brûlée? Both executed with such finesse, I briefly forgot every bad life decision I’ve ever made. The mousse was sinful, the crème brûlée had a crackle louder than my therapist's voice in my head. But here's the real kicker: €75 for the full menu, and included is as much wine as you like — and not the cheap stuff either. Red, white, and rosé, constantly poured, as if Bacchus himself were working the floor. The servers don’t ask if you want more — they simply know you do. And lest we forget: the cocktails. Espresso martinis that were smooth, cold, and outrageously satisfying. The kind of drink that whispers, “Yes, you will have one more,” and then suddenly it’s midnight and you’re debating philosophy with a stranger from Lyon. The whole place pulses with energy — an atmosphere of unfiltered joy. Tables are full of sun-warmed faces, people who know good food and better stories, the buzz of laughter, forks tapping plates, and glasses clinking in harmony. It’s a proper celebration. Not loud, not boisterous — just effortlessly alive. So yes, the food is bistrot-classic, not Michelin haute couture — but it doesn’t matter. Because what Le Paradou does is alchemy. It turns simple ingredients into ritual, into memory, into something you’ll try (and fail) to recreate at home. Final verdict: 5/5 claws. Go for the snails. Stay for the cheese. Lose yourself in the wine. This is what summer in Provence was meant to taste like.

Great quality food, very generous portions leading to very high value for money. We really enjoyed the soup and the cheese platter. Basically great 4 course meal including wine for €75 per person.
Vasilios D — Google review
This is a place we were recommended and it was a great experience. A set (two option per course) menu including cheese, wine and coffee at 75euros per head which is good value. The waiters spoke good English and were very attentive and good fun. Great atmosphere. We pre-booked and we’re thankful for this as many who arrived were turned away. We will definitely visit again when travelling in the area.
John B — Google review
Great Food in a relaxed provencal atmosphere! I like the concept of offering just one menu (with little room for variation)! It means that everything is absolutely fresh and tasty. We had snails, lamb carré and a choice of deserts. And an incredible plate of cheese - I guess about 12 different fromages. But don‘t forget to make a reservation!!!
Tobi H — Google review
I really like this place, menu 70 euro includes cafe and wine, great deal! Snails and lamb are super delicious!

It's a total experience when you eat at Le Bistrot du Paradou. The minute you enter the restaurant, you experience happy servers, the sound of lively conversation and a very colorful decor. My husband and I were there for the Poulet de Bresse. It was succulent and served with fresh pasta in a morel cream sauce. The cheese platter is magazine worthy. Note: it's a fixed menu each day.
Kathi K — Google review
Busy restaurant on the street serving a fixed menu for 70€ which includes wine. All courses were good, but the best was the cheese platter. Impressive. Only other wines available, beside what is served included in the meal, are quite expensive. Delicious but expensive.

Mediterranean restaurant
Nestled between the stunning landscapes of Camargue and Alpilles, Le Bel Oustau - Restaurant Fontvieille offers a delightful culinary experience that beautifully marries Provençal flavors with Italian influences. The restaurant features a charming patio garden, providing a serene escape from the bustling center. Guests can enjoy an inviting atmosphere complemented by friendly service, even during busy times.
The garden of the restaurant is such a lovely place and very well decorated. It was really enjoyable to sit there. The food was great too, especially the beuf and the maquereau were prepared perfectly. The waiters and waitresses were very kind, and although they did not speak English very well, communication was fine. We would have liked to see maybe a different/simple dish for children, as the menu and flavours were a bit too sophisticated for my little sister. It was nice though, that we could order a smaller portion for her. However, this was the same price as the big plates. Nonetheless we had a wonderful dinner. Merci Beaucoup!

The restaurant is nice and cosy and the staff are pleasant. I ordered the house specialty, the Fillet de bouef and asked for it to be medium rare, by French standards thats fairly red with a lot of blood. When it arrived I got a well done steak and it was nothing special, for €25 is was not good value. The creme brule with fig was very good but straight of the fridge and served very cold so it lost points on that. The house wine was nice but if the house specialty cannot be cooked properly I cannot give it more than 3 stars.

(Translated by Google) Extraordinary !!! The setting with its small swimming pool and its different tables around… a mix of styles! Then on the plate everything is delicious!! Flavors, choice of products, seasonings, and reasonable prices: for 4 as a family €127 wine + coffee and children eat like adults in reduced portions!! (No nugget and company…😉) In short, I recommend! Well done ! I forgot the reception +++++ 👍 (Original) Extraordinaire !!! Le cadre avec sa petite piscine et ses différentes tables aux alentours…mélange de styles ! Puis dans l’assiette tout est délicieux !! (Pas de nugget et compagnie…😉) Bref je recommande ! Bravo ! J’oubliais l’accueil +++++ 👍

(Translated by Google) Very pleasant location, beautiful quiet interior courtyard, efficient service. On the kitchen side we found that it lacked flavor: the foie gras was a little too neutral and accompanied by a brioche which clearly lacked deliciousness, the fish (lean) in sufficient quantity but accompanied by an uninteresting pasty sauce, the beef fillet was good and cooked as ordered but it lacked the expected sauce or juice which would have spiced up and excited the taste buds. In short, a little disappointed.

(Translated by Google) Pretty bad time. The prices are excessive. It's hard to find a smile in the service. Dishes that are a pain, like shredded meat with semolina, there's nothing worse to stick to your gums. And the pool, with a total mess around it, a cruel lack of maintenance... It's a shame... (Original) Assez mauvais moment.

Chinese restaurant
Ming Chi is a small, family-run restaurant known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine is prepared to perfection by the talented cook, Madame Lai, offering delicious Chinese dishes such as crispy spring rolls, steamed dumplings, and Cantonese fried rice. The intimate setting adds to the charm of the place, with the owner entertaining guests with his good-natured jokes. It's recommended to make reservations in advance due to the limited seating.
I really loved that place. The owners are so nice and funny! The wife cooks, the husband serves and the wife's dad helps while making everyone laugh. The food was really good and full of flavors. This is definitely one of the those restaurants you won't forget due the special night you will have had. I would definitely go back every week if I lived around there.

(Translated by Google) Tiny, dilapidated restaurant, table of questionable cleanliness. Very average and fatty cuisine, with a lot of frozen foods and very frugal. Really not great value for money! In addition, the restaurant does not accept credit cards. This is a far cry from the glowing reviews we've read. (Original) Restaurant minuscule, vétuste, table d'une propreté douteuse. (Translated by Google) Tasteless food! The Peking duck is anything but lacquered and bathed in a viscous juice, smelling like it has been reheated in the microwave. The chicken curry has very little taste, and we search in the middle of the tray for the few pieces of chicken... And for the spicy shrimp, they are extremely spicy, almost inedible. First and last experience at your place. (Original) Cuisine insipide !
