Gomti Ghat in Dwarka is a serene and popular tourist destination where the tranquil Gomti River meets the powerful Arabian Sea. This pristine location offers a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation, making it an ideal break from sightseeing. The 500-meter-long ghat stretches along the Gomti bank, providing refreshing bathing experiences during high tide. Despite its beauty, the area lacks separate facilities for men and women and can be marred by stray cows.
Gomati river ghat just on the backside of Shree द्वारकाधीश Temple. There you will find flowing Gomati River, Sudama Setu, and very beautiful view of flowing river. People take Holy bath also in the river. You can also fees fishes in the water. Post visiting temple 🛕 you must visit the place.

Visited yesterday evening Arati and had taken bath at river.Visiting Gomti Ghat in Dwarka was a magical experience .This sacred spot, where the Gomti River meets the Arabian Sea, is soaked in mythological charm and divine vibes. The ghat is surrounded by many temples and steps that lead you down to the holy waters. Watching the sunrise here is absolutely breathtaking.

A peaceful and sacred riverside where the Gomti River meets the Arabian Sea. Devotees take holy dips before visiting Dwarkadhish Temple. The views during sunrise and sunset are truly calming, especially near Sudama Setu. You’ll find local vendors selling seashells, snacks, and souvenirs. It's a nice place to sit, feed fish, and soak in the divine atmosphere. However, it can get a bit crowded and the area isn’t always the cleanest. Be cautious near the water—tides can be strong. Overall: A must-visit if you're in Dwarka for spiritual or cultural reasons. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)

Gomti Ghat in Dwarka is one of the most peaceful and spiritually enriching places I’ve ever visited. Located near the famous Dwarkadhish Temple, this sacred ghat beautifully combines divine energy with the calmness of nature. The sound of the flowing Gomti River, the chants from the temple, and the sight of pilgrims performing rituals together create a deeply soothing atmosphere. Early mornings and evenings are the best times to visit — you can witness the mesmerizing aarti (પ્રાર્થના) and the reflection of temple lights dancing on the river water. The cleanliness around the ghat has improved a lot, and local volunteers regularly help maintain the area. You’ll also find small shops nearby selling prasad, diyas, and souvenirs, which add to the traditional charm. What makes Gomti Ghat special is its connection with mythology — it’s believed that washing your hands and feet here cleanses one’s sins before entering the Dwarkadhish Temple. Sitting by the steps during sunset, watching the seagulls fly and hearing the bells from the temple, you truly feel the divine peace Dwarka is known for. Highly recommended for spiritual travelers, photographers, and anyone seeking inner calm. A must-visit spot in Dwarka! 🌅✨

Gomti Ghat is just beside Dwarkadheesh Temple and is a sacred ghat. People take holy dip here it is not deep u can cross it by walking only.....it is much more beautiful in night when fishes do there mesmerising beautiful and natural Jal Kreeda..... I request to Gujrat Government tonplease take care of all the holy and sacred places in Dwarka.

This is a night scene of Gomti ghat, this looks like a totally different as you can see morning view with full flown of water which are posted by many reviewers. This is called high-low tide effects. In the very early morning, high tide is in effect and due to this reason, sea water is uplifted towards river delta point and river looks like full of water and Gomti ghat looks very stunning. Gradually, in day time sea water level is down due low tide and river delta point looks like there is no water in the river and Gomti ghats become waterless specially near ghats. Experience this in the morning and evening everyday.

Spiritual Experience at Dwarka Gomti Ghat 🙏🕉️ Visiting Gomti Ghat in Dwarka was a truly divine and peaceful experience. 🌊✨ As I stood at the ghat, I felt a sense of calm wash over me, and the gentle sound of the flowing river created an atmosphere perfect for reflection and prayer. Watching devotees take a holy dip in the sacred waters of the Gomti River, I was reminded of the importance of cleansing the mind and soul of negativity and worries. 🛐💧 The spiritual significance of this place is undeniable—it’s believed that taking a dip here washes away sins and grants blessings from Lord Krishna. The ghat is also home to small temples and shrines that radiate an ancient energy, connecting you to centuries of faith and devotion. 🕯️🌺 Spending a quiet moment here helped me reconnect with my inner self and appreciate the timeless beauty of India’s spiritual heritage. I highly recommend everyone visiting Dwarka to spend some time at Gomti Ghat—not just to admire its beauty, but to find a moment of inner peace and spiritual renewal. 🧘‍♂️🌼

Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Dwarka, the Shree Dwarkadhish Temple stands as a remarkable testament to Hindu devotion and architectural brilliance. Dating back to 400 BC, this temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and features an impressive tiered main shrine crafted from pure white marble by the Birla family in 1970. Visitors are often captivated by its unique acoustics—clapping your hands once can produce echoes that resonate seven times!
The area near the temple is known for its beautiful sights, which can be very calming. It is believed that the place has a very positive and uplifting atmosphere. This can be a wonderful experience for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. Sharing your photos can help others experience the beauty and atmosphere of the place as well. It is always a pleasure to share these types of experiences with others.

My visit to Dwarka Temple was unforgettable. As I walked towards the temple, the sound of the sea and the sight of the tall shikhara gave me goosebumps. Inside, the atmosphere was peaceful yet powerful. The evening aarti was the highlight hundreds of devotees singing together created pure magic. It’s one of those places where you truly feel close to God.
Nikunj S — Google review
The moment you enter the temple area, the atmosphere becomes peaceful and spiritual. The temple is grand, beautifully maintained, and full of positive energy. Even with people around, the place feels calm and welcoming. The approach to the temple is easy, with markets and small shops on both sides, giving a lively feeling of an old holy city. You can deposit phones and bags outside, and the process is well organised. It’s good to arrive a little early, especially during weekends or festival days, to avoid long queues. Inside the temple, the darshan is quick and well managed. Standing in front of Dwarkadhish (Lord Krishna) gives a feeling that’s difficult to describe—peaceful, powerful, and emotional at the same time. The carvings, the old architecture, and the chanting add to the beauty of the experience. After darshan, you can walk towards the Gomti River, which is just behind the temple. The view of the ghat and the sea breeze makes the visit even more special. If time allows, visiting again in the evening for Aarti is highly recommended.
Kaveri C — Google review
A truly divine and spiritual experience at the Dwarkadhish Temple. The atmosphere is filled with devotion and peace. Mobile phones are not allowed inside, which helps maintain the sanctity and lets you fully immerse in the darshan. A must-visit for every devotee of Lord Krishna.

Dwarkadhish Mandir in Dwarka is an iconic Hindu temple built on the very site believed to be the kingdom of Lord Krishna, the presiding deity. The temple is considered as one of the four most sacred Hindu shrines referred to as Char Dham, the others being Badrinath, Jagannath and Rameswaram, which are considered essential pilgrimage sites for all Hindus for spirituality, liberation and divine blessings. The Dwarkadhish Temple is magnificent 5 storeyed structure standing 167 ft tall carved out of limestone and sandstone, showcasing exquisite ancient Indian architecture and craftsmanship. . The temple's intricate carvings, pillars, and walls feature beautiful designs, depicting various scenes from Hindu mythology and the life of Lord Krishna. As with most holiest of holy shrines photography is prohibited within the temple premises. But I was fortunate to witness a significant event, the unfurling of the flag on the Shikara (spire) at sunset.

Love the experience to be there in dwarka. 1.You will see goomti ghat next to temple also when you enter don't forgot to keep your belongings (mobile and shoes) to them free of charges. Also I observe inside temple if your family have an old ppl or handicap there is separate line for them. 2.I also observe there is prasad stand inside temple. I visit around 27 nov 2025 below is latest video and pic for the reference.

Visiting Dwarkadhish Temple in Devbhoomi Dwarka is not just a journey, it is a divine experience that touches the soul. The moment you step into this sacred land, you can truly feel the presence of Lord Krishna, as if every breeze carries His blessing and every stone echoes His eternal grace. The temple’s majestic architecture, rising proudly at the edge of the Arabian Sea, fills the heart with wonder. The beautifully carved pillars, the serene courtyard, and the divine idol of Shri Dwarkadhish create an atmosphere of pure devotion and peace. Standing before the deity, one feels an overwhelming sense of surrender, gratitude, and spiritual awakening. The Mangla Aarti at sunrise and the evening Sandhya Aarti are experiences that stay with you forever, the sound of conch shells, the rhythmic chanting, and the flickering lights of the aarti truly connect you with a higher energy. Watching the temple flag sway high above the shikhar reminds you of Krishna’s eternal presence and protection over His devotees. The surrounding Darbargadh-style lanes, the sea breeze at Gomti ghat, and the chanting of “Jai Dwarkadhish!” by pilgrims make Dwarka feel like stepping into a living chapter of the Mahabharata. A visit to Dwarkadhish Temple is more than a pilgrimage, It is a chance to experience deep inner peace, divine blessings, and a connection with Shri Krishna that words can barely describe. If your heart longs for spirituality, this sacred Dham is a must-visit.

Dwarka Beach is a bustling coastal spot located near a historic temple, offering activities like boat rides, sunbathing, and stunning sunset views. The beach is situated close to the ornate Dwarkadhish Temple, which dates back 2,000 years and is dedicated to the worship of Lord Krishna. This sacred site is adorned with 72 intricately carved pillars and holds great significance in Hindu mythology.
The combination of sand, water, and natural surroundings creates a picturesque and tranquil setting. The sound of the waves and the fresh sea air can be incredibly soothing and help to reduce stres
Divesh K — Google review
Dwarka Beach has its own charm, especially when it comes to atmosphere and location. The vibe here is really peaceful and the sunset view is something that touches your heart—sky meeting the sea, and that golden light over the water feels magical. This place was a big part of our childhood. Back then, it was just clean sand everywhere, and we used to come here to bathe in the sea, play around, and enjoy those simple moments. Even big boats and steamers could be seen from the shore, which was exciting to watch. Now, over time, development has happened, but somewhere that raw charm is missed. One big problem is cleanliness. Like most tourist places, you’ll see litter here and there. Even though cleaning staff work in the morning, by afternoon the beach often looks the same as before. It needs better daily care, especially since this is such a famous spot. Still, the natural beauty and memories attached to this place make it special. Sitting here in the evening with the sea breeze and watching the sun go down still brings peace.
Hari R — Google review
Dwarka Beach is a pleasant spot near the city, offering a quiet place to relax by the sea. The sandy shore and views of the Arabian Sea create a nice atmosphere, especially during sunset. It is fairly clean, though some areas could use better maintenance. The beach is not very crowded most of the time, but facilities like seating, food stalls, and public restrooms are limited. There are no major water sports or entertainment options, so it’s mostly suitable for a calm walk or spending some peaceful time. Nearby attractions like the Dwarka Lighthouse and Gomti Ghat add some interest to the visit. Overall, Dwarka Beach is a decent place to visit if you want a simple and quiet seaside experience but don’t expect many amenities or activities.

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a unique and peaceful Shiva temple located on a peninsula that extends into the ocean, offering stunning sunset views. This holy Hindu site, dedicated to the Bhagavad Gita, was built in 1970 with pure white marble by the Birla family. The temple's acoustics are known for creating echoes when you clap your hands. Accessible only during low tide, reaching the temple feels like a pilgrimage through nature's whims.
One of my Favourite place where I feel peace and lost ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐this time I visiting early 3:30 at the temple I completely start getting feeling spiritual energies and power💫🚩📿 Ancient Origins: The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, known here as Bhadkeshwar Mahadev. It is believed to be more than 5,000 years old and holds great spiritual significance for Shaivites as well as devotees of Lord Krishna. Location: The temple is built on a small hill-like structure that projects into the Arabian Sea. During high tide, the temple is surrounded by water, and in low tide, devotees can easily walk to it. Right now they have developed many facilities and kept relling around temple...IN THE END.....READ 👇🏻 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I always love visiting Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple 🙏. The location is absolutely divine, right by the sea 🌊, and during high tide the temple looks magical. Every time I go, it feels so peaceful and spiritual ✨. The area around the temple has really developed in recent years 👍 — you’ll find snacks 🍿🥤, clean drinking water 🚰, and even washrooms 🚻 which makes the visit comfortable. For families and kids, there are fun activities too like camel rides 🐪 and horse rides 🐎 right outside. It’s a perfect blend of spirituality and a refreshing outing. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir 🕉️ is a very peaceful and spiritual place. The temple has a calm and relaxing atmosphere, and the location is beautiful with the Arabian Sea 🌊 all around. It feels very refreshing to sit here, enjoy the cool breeze 🌬️, and spend time in the peace of Mahadev ji 🙏. There is also a small mela-like vibe 🎪 around the temple, with many stalls and snacks 🍴 available to eat, which adds to the charm of the visit. It’s a nice place not just for darshan, but also to relax with family or friends while enjoying the sea view 🌅. One humble request to everyone visiting — please do not litter 🚮 or throw garbage around. Let’s keep this place clean and pavitra ✨, so that everyone can continue to enjoy its beauty and peace 🌸.

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a peaceful and divine spot right by the Arabian Sea. The view of waves touching the temple during high tide feels truly magical. It’s one of those rare places where nature and spirituality meet perfectly. The sound of the sea and the cool breeze create a calming vibe, especially during sunrise or sunset. Though the temple is beautiful, the approach area could be cleaner and parking is limited during peak hours. Still, it’s a must-visit when in Dwarka — a perfect place to find peace away from the crowd. --- ✅ Pros Located beside the sea — scenic and photogenic views Peaceful and spiritual atmosphere Amazing sunrise & sunset experience Less crowded compared to Dwarkadhish Temple Great spot for meditation and photography --- ❌ Cons Cleanliness around the approach road needs improvement Path gets submerged during high tide — check timings Limited parking and no proper eateries nearby Few basic facilities like restrooms or benches

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple: Where the Ocean Itself Worships Shiva!. A Divine Sunset Experience You Cannot Miss! If you are in Dwarka, this is where you go for the most unforgettable sunset and a truly unique spiritual experience. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is not built near the sea; it's built on it, perched on a rocky outcrop that makes it feel like a tiny, sacred island. The Phenomenon of the Sea Abhishekam The most captivating feature is the one that happens by nature: during the monsoon (typically June/July), the Arabian Sea itself rises to embrace and submerge the entire temple, performing a divine Abhishekam (ritual water offering) to the ancient Swayambhu (self-manifested) Shivalinga. This legend makes the temple feel ancient, mystical, and profoundly connected to the elemental forces. The Perfect Time to Visit Timing is everything here! You must check the low tide schedule to walk easily to the temple. * Sunset: Absolutely spectacular. The golden light reflecting off the crashing waves against the cliff face is a photographer's dream and a soul-soothing sight. * Low Tide: This is when the pathway is fully accessible, allowing you to peacefully make your way to the sanctum. Serenity on the Edge of the World The temple itself is small, simple, and incredibly peaceful. Surrounded by the roar of the ocean on three sides, the atmosphere is perfect for quiet meditation. The path leading out to the temple is an amazing walk, making you feel completely surrounded by the sea and sky. Conclusion: This is not just a place of worship; it’s a geographical wonder and a spiritual retreat rolled into one. Come for the Mahadev darshan, stay for the jaw-dropping sunset, and leave with a profound sense of peace. A Dwarka trip is incomplete without this sacred, seaside encounter! (Note: Always check local tide timings before your visit for safe and full accessibility to the temple platform.)

A divine serene experience! Visited at sunset and instantly felt the divine aura there. It is also located at a very scenic location with the Arabian Sea surrounding it. It is not very crowded during early morning and evening hours. The top of the temple has a big Shivling which is visible from far off and is the highlight of the place.
Gunjan — Google review
Extraordinary temple. One of its own kind. This temple is located in the middle of the ocean. When there is a high tide, the water of the ocean enters the temple and consecrate the holy shiva-linga. In such conditions, you need to grab the chain while entering the temple to keep balance. This temple is popular among tourists for fabulous sunset. You can find this temple crowded at the time of sunset in the evening. This temple is recently renovated and expanded by authorities which was really required.

Charmi Restaurant is a family-friendly eatery in Dwarka that offers a diverse menu featuring vegetarian Punjabi and Chinese dishes. The restaurant is known for its mouth-watering Chinese and Punjabi cuisine, making it a must-visit dining spot in the area. With options ranging from South Indian to Italian, this pure veg establishment provides an array of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant's neat and tidy setting, along with its efficient service, ensures a pleasant dining experience.
Best place to have food when in Dwarka, it is on the bypass road just when you enter Dwarka. Pick up any item and that is just incredibly delicious. There were a number of items that we ordered because we were more than 15 people and their service was so quick, just when you order anything within 5 mins they bring your food. Things that we ordered were - Masala Dosa, Pav bhaji, Manchurian Fried Rice, Mixed Uttapam, Veg Pulao, Aloo Paratha, Dal Khichdi, Roti, Dal Fry, and in the beverages Lassi, Tea, and Coffee. Each and every item was lip smacking esp Pav Bhaji and Uttapam. The place is reasonable and spacious enough plus the service is really fast. Only the washroom could be a little cleaner which is very important while one is travelling, otherwise the restaurant is clean. If you’re visiting Dwarka do not forget to try this place, an absolute 10/10 for the Food.

During my recent trip to Dwarka, I visited this restaurant. The ambiance was average. They offer a variety of dishes on the menu, but unlike other places in Dwarka, they don't have a Gujarati thali. The food was average in taste, though the buttermilk was quite good. It was a bit odd that they weren't accepting card payments. Overall, it was an average experience.

Had mutter aloo which was masaledar and yummy, tandoori butter roti, chaas, Veg changezi which was tasty. Compared to other restaurants in Dwarka this one is actually good in terms of service, taste and hygiene. For breakfast masala dosa and paneer paratha was really good. A bit costly compared to other restaurants but food here will leave you satisfied.

Govinda Multi Cuisine Restaurant is a soothing Indian dining spot located in the famous temple complex of Dwarkadhish Temple. The restaurant offers a variety of cuisines including South Indian, Chinese, and Gujarati Thali. It is known for its excellent North Indian food and hygienic environment. Visitors can enjoy a pleasant ambiance while savoring favorites like Chappan Bhog and Manchurian.
During our recent visit to Dwarka, we discovered a gem—Govinda Hotel—and it quickly became one of our favorite dining spots over the span of three days. The variety here is impressive, ranging from flavorful Chinese to comforting Punjabi dishes, and their traditional Gujarati thali is simply a treat for the taste buds. The ambience strikes a perfect balance between cozy and classy, ideal for both families and casual diners. What truly elevated our experience, though, was the staff. Always attentive and genuinely warm, they made sure we felt welcome every time we walked in. A special shoutout to their off-menu recommendation: "Kaju Methi" sabji. It's not listed, but don't miss it—it’s hands down one of the best dishes we tried. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor, it's something we'd go back for again. Overall, Govinda Hotel offers more than just food—it offers an experience. If you're around Dwarka, make sure to stop by. You’ll leave with a full stomach and a happy heart.

Shrinath Dining Hall is a popular restaurant in Dwarka known for its wide variety of dishes, including thalis, pickles, papad, buttermilk, and snacks. The unlimited Gujarati Kathiyawadi thali is a must-try at just Rs. 170. Despite being crowded with a waiting area upstairs, the delicious and plentiful food makes it worth the wait.
This is the perfect place in dwarka for Kathiyawadi Thali, it's a absolutely amazing. This place give you the vibes of belonging as the food served with love. Coming to the price, it's very nominal 170 rupees in 2025 considering the quality and items they are providing. Also the waiting time is 10-20 mins during rush. It’s not just recommended, it’s a must-visit. Note that most subji's are a little bit spicy, so people who don't eat spicy they can avoid or cab eat the yummy khichdi or dal/rice.

If you’re looking for a place that serves delicious traditional Indian food with genuine hospitality, Shrinath Dining Hall is a must-visit. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors! 🌟

Food is not sold... it is served...... A unique hotel where you have to take off your shoes as soon as you step in - just like you are coming to your own home.....No menu, no order - just one thing, and that is pure Gujarati thali. Every bite tastes like home, every dish reminds of mother's hands.... because here food is made by a mother-daughter duo and you feel the taste of that love while eating

Must visit if you are in dwarka . Typical kathiyawadi food is really fresh and very good. Service from their staff is top notch. You will feel like home there. Multiple varities of food is available. Unlimited thali rs 170 is worth every bite. You need to wait for 15-20 mins on weekdays and half an hour for weekends despite their service are very fast.

ROMANO CUCCINA RESTAURANT is a hidden gem located in the Hotel Roma Kristo in Dwarka. This restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring global and local cuisines, along with a variety of colorful drinks. Known for its wood-fired dishes and sizzlers, it's a popular choice among locals. The menu includes Hyderabadi biryani, Mushroom Chilli, NAD Schezwan Noodles, and their signature chocolate shake.
The restaurant is located inside Hotel Roma Kristo. It has some good food options. We had buffet dinner from our tour package. It was tasty. At lunch, Dal khichdi and Minestrone soup were good.

The best restaurant in Dwarka! The food quality and taste both are 10/10. The staff is courteous, friendly and respectful. They were very accommodating when requested to customise some dishes. Cannot decide if the food is better or the service. We had wanted to have just one meal while staying at the hotel but could not stop at that. We have tried most of the dishes on their menu now and all of them are excellent! The sweet dishes can be better, but overall a great dining experience. Highly recommend the moong dal kichdi, dhokla, mutter paneer, mushroom and baby corn, bhindi ki sabzi, thepla and brownie milkshake.

Service is good, i dont think i can give a proper review of food. I wasn't that hungry so tried their Mysore masala dosa and lime soda. They serve dosa with 2 types of chutney coconut and another one was some red chutney i guess tomato and sambhar . Taste was decent, you can't compare this with a dosa you find in southern India and it is not justified too, but it was nice in taste. Sweet lime soda was also good.

The ATITHI RESTAURANT is conveniently located near the Dwarkadhish Temple and offers a diverse range of dishes. Guests can enjoy delicious snacks like pav bhaji and parathas. The service at this establishment is exceptional, with attentive staff who anticipate every need and provide excellent recommendations. The sommelier's wine pairing is outstanding, enhancing the already memorable dining experience.
