It’s boring, we were done after getting some pictures. The government should work hard to preserve the originality of fort, as I saw most people ruining walls. Plus there is nothing other than the walls to see. There should be libraries, monuments. Some kind of of theme, to build public interest.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the ticketing process was smooth. If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend coming in the late afternoon when the light softens — it’s the perfect time for photography, especially when the sun hits the marble and red sandstone walls. The fort is right next to the Badshahi Mosque, Hazuri Bagh, and Minar-e-Pakistan, so you can make it part of a full-day heritage tour. The fort itself is good but the administration is not good. Tickets for foreigners are 1k and locals 100. They were not allowing us to visit the Ranjeet Singh's Samadhi. The guards try to guide you to each section but we didn't take any guide. As you enter the fort are near the handicrafts shop enter the main door and take stairs to your left (hathi pair elephant stairs) they will take you to the Sheesh Mahal. If you try to go on the road that is too long and has nothing worth seeing There was loh Mandir under restoration (a few labourers were just smashing a stone with hammer with enough force to make it seem that they are working 😄) When you enter any section the guard will try to guide you and will also allow photography but you have to pay. They'll ask you to pay in the end. You can pay if you want to and they'll guide you. If you don't want to pay go on YouTube and watch the vlogs of a few YouTubers. That will save you some money.

the fort itself was great. it has been greatly improved since the last time i visited three years ago, with many new restoration projects. there is much to see and you can easily spend the whole day exploring the fort. however, i had a negative experience with the official walled city of lahore authority “tour” of the fort. we paid 1000 for a buggy tour of the fort, which ended up being a 3 minute drive to the top. on the drive, the “tour guide” gave us some really basic information, majority of which was exactly the same as the information written on the boards.

I visited with History by Night, which costs 2500 per person, btw I did not buy the tickets in advance and got while there. Parking is a big issue here and costed me 500. Overall the experience was a little fun

There was a lot of noise and litter scattered all around, including plastic bottles, food wrappers, and paper waste. The lack of proper cleanliness and waste management seriously affects the beauty and dignity of such an important historical site. It would be wonderful if the authorities took better care of the surroundings by providing more trash bins, cleaning the area regularly, and managing the large crowds more effectively. Despite these issues, Minar-e-Pakistan remains a proud symbol of our national identity and deserves respect and proper maintenance.

Minar e Pakistan had a great significance for Muslims as Karardad e Pakistan 1940 was held here. Recently had a privilege to visit it in the month of August. It was nicely decorated with fancy lights to attract the nearby audience. No one is allowed to enter as it was cordon off but still you can enjoy its mesmerizing view.

Lahore museum is a very good place. The building itself is very old and has a history. Take the ticket and behind the ticket is the map of museum. Start from the end of the museum so you don't miss any part. I'd suggest go to first floor and start with Pakistan's independence history section. Take water bottle with you as there was no canteen. If you have interest in history try to visit as early in the morning as possible. It takes too much time to watch each part thoroughly ( took me since I am a history admirer) If you are visiting with your school or college please try to take a look at the articles. Mostly children were running and making videos so they can watch later 😄. Enjoy the moment.

An excellent museum where you can see the history of Pakistan from the prehistoric era to modern times. They have a huge collection of the artifacts from different ruling periods. Even they have the pocket diary of Queen Victoria. A good place to pass 2-3 hours indulged in history

We reserved for family high tea at the restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Food was fresh and flavorful with fish cheese balls making room in my heart with every bite. The downside was the service. It was still half an hour to the end of session but the waiter pressured people at table to get tea because time was closing in and they might not serve it again. 20 minutes still left when they started removing smaller plates holding cutlery. It was very irritating and annoying when people at table are still eating and they are doing these things. I would suggest this place to people who don't mind getting treated like this and only wants to try good food. Please improve your time management skills. Increase the gap between slots if you can't mange it. When people pay good money for a 1.5 hour they deserve that time uninterrupted.

We visited Spice Bazaar for the first time for dinner on Saturday. We were a walk-in, but there were plenty of seats and we were seated without waiting. It seemed like most people were there for family celebrations. We ordered cheese naan, kebab, and mutton karahi. The staff were polite and helpful. The food was delicious, but the kebab and karahi were too spicy for us and we couldn't finish them all. I guess Pakistanis find it mild and enjoyable. Maybe we just need to get used to the spiciness a bit more...

Spice Bazaar? Wow. Truly a 5-star experience… for the flies. The ambiance? Immaculate — if you’re into winged intruders doing cannonballs into your cup. Manager saw it and basically said, “A little protein never hurt anyone.” Love that for us. And the food? Michelin-level… if the criteria is “flavorless, forgettable, and mildly offensive.” I didn’t know sadness had a taste until I ate here. Honestly, the only thing spicy was my regret. Would I recommend it? Absolutely — to my worst enemy. 💀

We were ushered to 4 th storey via a elevator 🛗.. On our request, We were granted place besides the windows overlooking the Mosque.. We ordered BBQ platter for 2 persons.. In 20 minutes it was served hot and juicy 😋.. Amazing taste, mutton was medium cooked, fish and quail was soft yet crisy👏 .. Full credit goes to the chef 👨‍🍳 👌.. Quite a few foreigners were also sitting around. The staff was polite and helpful.. In the end our hands were washed in a rose water bowl.. Which i found quite good and reminded of our ancestors 💧.. Prices were reasonable.. On ground floor, there is also a gallery showcasing old Mughal era pics 📸..

To the owner: Have some shame and turn off the music during prayer timings. They were playing songs and live singing during Maghreb time. what a disgrace and a shameful act!!!! BELOW AVERAGE!!! Overrated and tasteless food! I had to wait over 30 mins for a table when clearly there were table available which could be split to accommodate my family and I. those tables stayed vacant till I left the restaurant so clearly the staff did not want to assist. there are plenty other restaurants in the same line with similar view that are empty and have ample seating to amplify the view of the mosque. There was no coordination between their staff as one staff got me to a table and had us seated and 5 mins later the manager came asking if I sat there on my own. cleaely no coordination. the food was tasteless and the green tea was a teabag rather than an authentic green tea kaava. the Afghani palao didn't have any Afghani palao taste and had two small pieces of beef. surely will never visit again and will visit the neighbouring restaurant that are much better.

Food was amazing as always, but the service was third class. Despite having plenty of staff, everything seemed poorly managed. The waiters had no proper knowledge of the menu items, and even basic things like cutlery and serving spoons were not provided. I had to ask for them three times. A few waiters were also unnecessarily over-efficient, making the experience uncomfortable. Overall, great food but very disappointing service.

2 of us went for dinner, there were many empty tables but we were not accommodated inside and sat outside while there was a wind storm. Anyhow, we proceeded to order, and the food was a major letdown, especially having been to Fred the day before. Comparing steak to steak, there is no comparison. Yes price wise this place is cheaper but I wanted a good steak and didn't get that. The bread pudding and French onion soup was decent.

Disappointing Experience at Cafe Aylanto I recently visited Cafe Aylanto on MM Alam Road, Lahore, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the food tasted good and the atmosphere was pleasant, the portion sizes were extremely small. Even one portion wasn't enough for one person, which was frustrating considering the high prices. Given the value for money, I wouldn't recommend Cafe Aylanto to anyone. It feels like they're just trying to make a quick buck without delivering on quantity and quality. Maybe revisit your menu and pricing strategy to better serve your customers. Until then, I'd say avoid it.

Had an amazing dinner! Ordered and each items (see bill photo) was excellent. If only the acs were working better as it was quite warm.

It's a nice place but there are some elements I did not like. It seems a bit clicky. Catering for high end customers which is fine but their attention seems to be only focused on them. Everyone on the staff were professionally dressed and all was clean and elegant. I had the Greek salad for starters.. it was just ok. Then has the smash burger. It is small but somewhat tasty but defo not a smash burger as it should be cooked.

A memorable first experience at Andaaz. The traditional walled city theme of the hotel was fascinating. Food was great and so was the service. Breathtaking views of Bad Shahi mosque and walled city added a unique aura to the place. The museum on the ground floor contains rare items. It is distinctly set up. Strongly recommend.

This was our first visit to Lahore, and today we had dinner with a group of eight at a wonderful restaurant. We were impressed by the atmosphere, food, and service. The dishes were fresh and delicious. We were seated on the rooftop, enjoying a beautiful city view, including the iconic Badshahi Mosque. Everything was stunning. I highly recommend this place as it’s an ideal spot for foreigners to dine comfortably while getting accustomed to Pakistani cuisine, without any concerns about food sickness. Food prices are a little expensive, but it's worth it. In addition to the food, the restaurant was beautifully decorated with antique musical instruments and many other charming items, which we all enjoyed.

The food was super average. Nothing wow. Maybe I expected better. The service was extremely slow.. got tired of waiting for Icecubes, then it took forever to get the bill also, then the takeaway never came- it was all tooo slow with constantly asking them again and again. The slow service would have totally been ignored if the restaurant was jammed packed, there were literally 2 more tables other than ours. The view and the only thing however was excellent. Ambiance was nice but the view was surely breathtakingly amazing. And their khatti daal was good also.

Andaaz has always been one stop solution for the most cultural and soulful experience of Lahore. It is nestled between the magnificent Badshahi Mosque and erstwhile Red Light district of Lahore. The whole experience transfers one back to the era of Nawabs and Rajas. From rose water hand wash at dinner table to Rose wrapped mint at the end and everything in between. The service leaves one feeling royal.

We tried Bamboo Union for our office lunch. Tried their Tamarind Fish, Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Crunched Honey Chicken and in Drinks Pina Colada and Mint Margarita. Found the taste of every item mentioned above exceptionally good and would highly recommend them. Manager was very cooperative, We asked him to serve us water which is not in boycott list. And he purchased it from outside for us. Having Palestine 🇵🇸 Flag in the restaurant we expected them to respect and not support the products which were in favour of Israel military and feeding the military for free.

Bamboo Union offers a wonderful dining experience with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I tried their Korean Chicken and Cashew Nut Chicken, and both dishes were bursting with flavor. The small vegetable chow mein was also delicious and made for a perfect side. The ambience is really pleasant, and the staff is well-mannered and professional, making the service smooth and enjoyable. The only downside was that the rice portion felt too little, and unfortunately, they didn’t offer a refill. Still, the overall experience was delightful, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys flavorful Asian cuisine.

The Thai food you can count on. The sticky garlic rice is simply the best one in Lajore and green curry always hits the spot 👌 If you use the right discount card, you can get 40% as well!

Nothing but amazing I’m not a big Chinese Cuisine lover but this changed my perspective. One of the best Chinese and Thai food locations in lahore.

The food is really good, Thai and Chinese with authentic ingredients. The restaurant is big and spacious with a cool and modern vibe. The service is excellent. It's a bit expensive compared to the portion size they serve. The serving size is very small.
