Had lot of fun with friends, done tracking on mountain leads to multiple beaches, had good experience near beaches, played volleyball and other games and at the end relaxing view of beautiful Sunset. It was like mini Goa with less crowd. I went in February during Valentine.

A Peaceful Slice of Paradise – OM Beach, Gokarna 🌊✨ We recently visited Om Beach, and it was such an amazing experience! The beach truly lives up to the hype — peaceful, scenic, and shaped beautifully like the sacred “Om” symbol. The vibe here is calm yet vibrant, making it a perfect mix for both relaxation and fun. We started our day with a small trek along the cliffs that connect Om Beach to nearby beaches — the views from the top were absolutely stunning! You can spot movie-like scenery all around. Later, we just chilled by the shore, played some beach games like volleyball and frisbee, and ended the day watching a breathtaking sunset over the Arabian Sea — easily one of the best sunsets I’ve seen. 🌅 The beach is clean and less crowded, with a few small shops and shacks offering snacks, lemon soda, and local food. The whole area feels like a mini Goa but quieter, making it great for those who prefer a more peaceful atmosphere. A few quick tips: • No water sports here, so it’s more about peace than thrill. • Trekking shoes or slippers with grip help if you explore nearby spots. • Visit during early morning or evening for the best light and fewer people. Om Beach is not just another beach — it’s a place to soak in nature, unwind with friends, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you want to trek, chill, or just watch the sun melt into the sea, this place will leave you refreshed and smiling. 💙

A wonderful beach for families to enjoy some fun times here. The entrance has a bit of stairs to walk down which can be cumbersome when exiting when you have to climb those same stairs, especially with the sun shining. All in all a beautiful beach. Do visit to experience it yourself.
Daljinder K — Google review
The most lively beach in Gokarna. The boating from there was top notch. Also the walk to the end of beach along with slight drizzle was amazing. Highly recommended.
Ambarish N — Google review
It is probably the best beach in Gokarna. There are 5-6 total beaches there which can be accessed both through the roads or hiking the hills. Have been to this place twice and it feels really good to be there. Car parking is an issue there as the number of visitors are gradually increasing in Gokarna. Do visit Mahabaleshwar temple whenever you go there.

I went both at night and in the morning, it was a beautiful beach. Wasn't very crowded the time I went. I definitely liked it a lot.

Better then Gokarna main Beach... Visited in morning with less crowd enjoyed very well... Good for photography. Water and beer bottles were thrown everywhere... Beach is surrounded by trees...

Half Moon Beach in Gokarna is a serene and picturesque sandy beach, accessible by boat or hiking. It is named after its crescent shape, which can only be fully appreciated from above. The beach offers stunning views of the aquamarine sea and is surrounded by lush greenery. Unlike other beaches in the area, Half Moon Beach is relatively uncrowded, making it an ideal spot for couples seeking a tranquil getaway.
Beautiful Beach that is in a shape of Moon, known for amazing water activities like Swimming, Kayaking, Deep Diving, Beach side games like Badminton, Volley Ball etc.., One thing you need to keep in mind while visiting this Beach is that you can’t reach here by car or bike, you either need to Trek via Paradise Beach or reach by a Boat Ride. If you are taking Boat Ride for water activities they will make you visit Half Moon Beach so that’s your best chance to cover this place on your visit to Gokarna
Sahil C — Google review
Not crowded not very dirty so that solves most of the problem. Speciality here is that the shore side there is somewhat of backwater kind effect due to the shore formation. Due to this there is no typical waves as a normal beach, since it’s also shallow it’s the best place to bring your toddler to experience a beach without the problem of waves and water depth.
Ravi S — Google review
Half Moon Beach is a small and quiet spot—you won’t really notice the half-moon shape unless you’re seeing it from a top view. It’s accessible by trek or boat; we chose to trek. There are no shops around, so make sure to carry some snacks and water with you. Try to reach by 3 to 4 PM so you can also cover Paradise Beach and return the same way before it gets dark.
Rey4d — Google review
One star is not for the beach, but for the people who make this place a dumping zone. Literally everywhere there are plastic bottles and garbage thrown on the beach side, trek route, and where not. Our people lack minimum civic sense and until unless this mentality changes; nothing/ no one can keep such a beautiful place clean. Feel very sad about the people’s mentality.
Kiran R — Google review
Half Moon Beach is a beautiful and peaceful spot. The water is clear, the sand is clean, and the view is amazing. It’s a bit off the main road, but totally worth the effort to reach. The beach feels quiet and private, perfect for relaxing or swimming. A great place to enjoy nature and peace away from the crowds.
Manjeet N — Google review
Peaceful place. Loved it. Clean and clear. We did a trek from Om beach it took 20 mins. Beautiful view and trek on the way. Must visit.
Praveen S — Google review
This is also a smallish beach that is serene too. There are a few shacks here. I had hiked down from the Paradise beach and further walked to the Om beach from here. The hike was enjoyable- going past a ledge with a 200-250 meter drop. I also missed the way and had to climb some rocks to reach here!

Accessible by a short trek or boat ride, it offers a serene atmosphere, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or simply relaxing. The beach offers stunning scenic views, with numerous shacks lining the shore providing services such as restaurants and bars. One of the best silent beaches and less crowded. It's about 20-25 minute ride on a scooty from Gokarna village. The beach road is before Om beach road. You have to trek down from 5-10 minutes from public parking. Food options:- There are two cafes on beach.

Gokarna is one of the very few coastal areas in India where one can witness a hill station like ambience with its green valleys waving to the tune of a celestial orchestra with a resonance mimicking the waves of the nearby Arabian Sea, and gradually giving way to its eternal depths with innumerable cliffs, coves and a divine serenity. It is now a favourite with most of the foreign tourists travelling to India for some Sun, sand and sea. We will see today how much warmth and fun we can get from this very holy, beautiful and exotic place. most popular beach in Gokarna is the Kudle beach. It is also the place which has a lot of lodging facilities scattered all around. The Om beach can be reached from this place easily and so too the main beach of this town, which is usually thronged by pilgrims. Kudle beach is a much laid back place with multiple cliffs all around to get a superb view of the unending waves of the Arabian Sea.

Kudle Beach: A Must-Visit Destination Kudle Beach is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a combination of relaxation, adventure, and cultural immersion. With its stunning sunsets, thrilling surf, diverse activities, and vibrant atmosphere, Kudle Beach promises an unforgettable experience that will stay with you long after you've left the sandy shores. From colorful scarves and handmade jewellery to exquisite wood carvings and traditional artefacts, the flea market offers a treasure trove of items to take home as a reminder of your Kudle Beach experience. Proximity to the Sacred Mahabaleshwar Temple For those seeking a cultural immersion, Kudle Beach provides easy access to the revered Mahabaleshwar Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples in India. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is just a short walk away from the beach, offering an opportunity to experience the rich traditions and spiritual essence of India. (Indian/Ethical attire is a must for entry to temple premises.)

Kudle Beach is a natural beauty, could be a little piece of paradise as the sea is amazing, the sand is nice and soft, there are many welcoming restaurants and guest houses, but unfortunately the beach itself is destroyed by humans. We visited in May, which is off-season, and we've been told by all the locals that this is the reason why the beach is so dirty...because it's off-season, and they only collect the rubbish and clean the sand when there are tourists. However, the weather was perfect for enjoying the sea and sunbathing even in May, but seeing dirt and litter all around and the fact how the locals they don't care about their environment made us feel very sad... I truly wish this will change one day soon, and people in India will start to respect the amazing places they have.

Gokarna Beach, also known as the Main Beach, is a popular destination for both pilgrims and tourists. It holds religious significance as visitors often take a dip in its waters before visiting the nearby temples. The beach offers stunning natural beauty and is a favorite spot for nature lovers. With its white sandy shores stretching along the coast, it provides an ideal setting for picnics and water sports like surfing.
A perfect blend of peaceful vibes and scenic beauty. Its beaches are cleaner, calmer, and far less crowded than most tourist spots. Kudle and Om Beach offer stunning sunsets and relaxing shacks, while Half Moon and Paradise Beach give you that untouched, serene feel with clear waters and soft sands. Whether you want to trek between beaches, unwind by the waves, or enjoy beachside cafés, Gokarna never disappoints. A great getaway for anyone seeking nature, calmness, and a bit of adventure

waking up to the sound of waves and a stunning sunrise is something unforgettable The peaceful vibe here feels different from crowded beaches, making it perfect for a relaxed getaway. walking along the shore, the soft golden sand and rocky cliffs create a breathtaking view. what's fascinating is the beach’s connection to mythology, it's believed that lord shiva once emerged from here, adding a spiritual touch to the natural beauty. the only downside is the limited food options near the shore, so carrying some snacks is a good idea. the blend of tranquility and adventure makes every moment feel special
Selva — Google review
✅ Pros • Cultural & sacred: It’s adjacent to the Mahabaleshwar Shiva temple and used by pilgrims—calm early in the morning . • Easily accessible: Close to town with parking, toilets, cafes, and lifeguards—family‑friendly for swimming . ⚠️ Cons • Overcrowded & littered: Gets packed post‑temple visits, with pollution from puja offerings and locals—plastic, cow dung, etc. . • Commercialized, touristy: Detracts from the natural beach experience as it’s too busy Best for: Visiting the temple, short early-morning walks, quick dips. Less ideal for: Sunbathing, relaxing, or playing due to crowding and cleanliness.

Gokarna beach is okaish as it has lots of litter here and there, could have been maintained more better. When we visited there was a drainage which was flowing through the beach with lot of bad odour. We have boating here and much rush as it is near the temple. We also have shopping and hotels nearby. Its okay to visit once.

Gokarna Beach, nestled in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, India, is a coastal paradise that seamlessly blends spirituality with the serenity of the Arabian Sea. This charming town, once a secluded haven, has gained popularity while still retaining its unique character. The main beach, also known as Gokarna Beach, is located near the town's center, offering a lively atmosphere with shacks, restaurants, and water activities. It's a great spot to soak in the sun, take a swim, or enjoy the local cuisine. For those seeking tranquility, the other beaches around Gokarna are a must-visit. Om Beach, shaped like the sacred Hindu symbol "Om," is a popular destination known for its picturesque beauty and water sports. Half Moon Beach and Paradise Beach offer a more secluded experience, perfect for those who want to escape the crowds and connect with nature. Gokarna is also a significant pilgrimage site, with the Mahabaleshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, being a major draw for devotees. The town's spiritual vibe adds to its charm, creating a unique blend of relaxation and cultural exploration. Whether you're a beach lover, a spiritual seeker, or simply looking for a peaceful getaway, Gokarna Beach has something to offer.

Gokarna Beach offers an amazing blend of beauty and tranquility. Unlike commercial beaches, this one feels more natural and untouched. The sand is soft, the water is clear, and the overall environment is very calm. The sunsets are stunning. The beach is usually less crowded, making it ideal for long walks or just relaxing. However, some stretches could use better maintenance, and food options near the shore are limited compared to more touristy beaches. Still, it’s one of the best places for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.
Labeeb — Google review
Beautiful and peaceful beach. Gokarna Beach is a lovely place to unwind - clean sand, blue water, and a calm vibe that’s perfect if you want to escape the crowds of Goa. The sunsets here are just stunning, and the beach has a mix of chill cafes and local stalls nearby. It can get a bit crowded during weekends and holidays, but it’s still much more peaceful compared to other touristy spots. Overall, a great place to relax, take a walk, or just sit and watch the waves.

Paradise Beach, also known as Full Moon Beach, is a secluded and undeveloped sandy and rocky beach in Gokarna. It can be reached via a hiking trail or by boat, making it an isolated spot for those seeking tranquility. Visitors can enjoy the gentle sea breeze and take a refreshing swim in the ocean. The beach offers stunning views and is renowned for its beautiful sunsets.
Decided to go for hike from Belekan to Paradise. The hike was nice and little challenging. But once we reached, it was truly beautiful. Only one shack is there - but would like to remain it in that way. Let it be a paradise - without the crowd destroying it.

A smallish beach that is clean and also less crowded. I understand this beach can be reached by boat or by hiking from nearby beaches. I had hiked it down from the Belekan beach (30 min) which was an amazing experience. From here I walked down to the Half moon beach. The beach has some shops and shacks.

Paradise Beach is a hidden gem, accessible only by trekking from Om Beach to Half Moon Beach and then onwards. The best time to embark on this adventure is during the early morning hours (6:00 am - 9:00 am) or late evening (4:30 pm - 6:00 pm). Don't forget to carry water bottles to stay hydrated. The scenic trek rewards you with breathtaking views and a few quaint cafes along the way. The lush green surroundings and serene atmosphere make it a truly unforgettable experience. A must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers!
Shiyam K — Google review
Truly a paradise if you can endure the rough trek to the beach from the parking area (which we did). An easier option perhaps is to take a ferry ride from Om beach which is more accessible. They offer a pickup and drop facility and offer half or full day packages with some beach activities like kayaking, deep water swimming etc. thrown in at a reasonable cost.

One of the most unforgettable adventures of my life! Reaching Paradise Beach is not easy, you have to trek 2–3 km through a dense, dark jungle. We went at night with just our torches, singing and motivating ourselves along the way. But the moment we reached, it truly felt like Paradise. We camped on the beach, cooked barbecue, and spent the night under the stars. If you love adventure, this place is a must visit. Not for the faint-hearted, but absolutely worth it!

Nestled on the beach, Chez Christophe Gokarna French Café since 2010 offers a delightful experience with its wood oven-baked bread, pastries, cheese platters, and beer. This hidden gem is popular among Western tourists for its French-inspired cuisine made with local ingredients. The menu boasts delicious seafood and irresistible desserts. The café also hosts live music events, creating the perfect ambiance for a romantic evening.
We loved this place in Gokarna, and during our 2 days stay, we went here twice, cause it was too good. The ambience is relaxing with great music, the food menu is limited, but has the best options making it easy to choose from. The food is too good, with great quantity... We had to pack some back, even though we just ordered 3 dishes. The place is relaxing, with warm people serving you the best dishes. Do try the creme bruele, it's the best.

A must visit when in Gokarna Located on the middle beach You may have to walk a little from the entry to the beach around 300 metres The ambience here is really good. The choice of furniture is good in the middle there’s seating on the floor which looks very relaxed and laid back This place usually gets crowded at night so better to go early especially weekends. Ideally be here by 8 pm and have a slow and relaxed dinner Service can be an issue at times so order all items at once. Crème de blue is supposed to be a delicacy here but we couldn’t have it as they’ll crowd was more and they couldn’t serve us. The taste is a little different from the usual India taste. We had Garlic bread and white sauce pasta, prices can be on the higher side
Manish T — Google review
This cafe is right on the beach, and the sound of the sea makes it such a peaceful spot. The ambiance is amazing! I tried the lasagne, ratatouille, and cheese garlic bread – all of them were delicious, and the portions were good too. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but for the view and overall experience, it's worth it. Getting there can be a bit tricky. You’ll need to park your vehicle in paid parking or anywhere you find space and then walk about 500 meters on the beach to reach the cafe. But trust me, it’s all part of the charm! Definitely a great place to visit if you want good food with a beautiful view.

Truly utterly delicious and beautiful. Being a south indian and fanatic about international cuisines, I was very eager to try the French cuisine as it was my first time. I had taken Chicken Normande which is my current French Favourite. The vibe here is fabulous, staff is very polite, polished and perfect. A must try

The food, ambience and the laid back feel was just amazing. Don't miss this place if you plan a trip to Gokarana. You can reach the place by a short walk on the beach, from the main beach. Their king fish with special sauce was a killer. Absolutely tantalising. Loved their French onion soup too. And oh, the waiter was lovely. A cute dancing guy who was very very cheerful!
Nivedita L — Google review
We came here for lunch, after walking through the beach in the midday sun, it was a welcome sight. The seating arrangements are so cute and comfortable. None of those cheap plastic chairs and tables. The views to the beach and breeze are amazing. Relaxing on the sofa beds while waiting for your food or dessert is the best feeling. The staff is quite knowledgeable and helpful, although the one who served us did not know much about dishes of the day or recommendations. Nonetheless, the service was great. We got complimentary snacks on arrival, then we ordered our drinks, then main course and dessert. All in the span of 3 hours. Why be in a rush when you have such a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere? Now for the food... It was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. The salad leaves were fresh and crunchy with delicious dressing, the gravy was amazing and the food overall was top notch. They bake their own breads and pastries daily, so if you come in the morning - you will get fresh croissants and more. The vegetables, especially the greens for the salads are grown locally and are fresh as well as organic. It is true, the chef is French, you can taste it and see it in the menu 😆 I would definitely recommend you visit this place at least once if you are in Gokarna town, you will not regret it. Hope this helps 🙏
MotoHolic S — Google review
Overall....meh. Don't get me wrong the food was good, save for it being a bit low on salt plus there being some sand in the food. I'll be a bit generous and accept the sand cause it's on the beach, and the salt can be chalked up to personal preference, but the service could not be slower. In one instance we placed an order for pasta and an hr later they said it'll be another 15 mins. This speed of service is simply unacceptable at such a high end restaurant which wasn't even that crowded. It was up to around 60-70% occupancy with only one server, another unacceptable fact. We ordered a 7up and they took 30 mins to send it over. Small things like this are enough to lower my rating by 1-2 points at least. I even took a nap between orders. Do with this info what you will, I just spat out things I would've liked to know before deciding on coming here.

The Rock Namaste Cafe is a hidden gem located at the right end of the beach, away from the bustling crowds. Despite its unassuming appearance, this cafe surprises visitors with its delectable offerings. The menu boasts a fusion of Chinese and Indian cuisine, with dishes like MSG-free chicken fried rice and delightful spaghetti pasta Boscaila. Patrons rave about the exceptional fish dishes, praising both the quality and generous portions.
I tried some of the other places at Kudle beach as I was staying for a week, but I ate at this place most of the time because the food is really good here. Especially the fish dishes are excellent. At home I don't eat much fish, but I just couldn't help myself here and ordered something with fish every time. The portions are also good and their service is pretty quick.

Breakfast options in the nearby cafes were decent. So we took a leap of faith and ordered omelette and set breakfast here. What a great dinner I just had in Little Paradise Inn. The speciality of the restaurant, the tandoori. The special flavor that food has its special. The restaurant is located in Kudle Beach just in front of the ocean. So coming during the day will give you a perfect view to have a great lunch watching the ocean. Came here for brunch. Not my goto planned place. Since it was off season lot of good places are shut. It took good amount to walk with weird narrow route to reach here. Probably I might have entered through wrong lane. Restaurant is quite well setup. Love the ambience around. Proper authentic beach shack. Food, can definitely be improved . We tried English breakfast and Hazza Breakfast. English breakfast doesn’t have sausage but fried chicken. For my liking it was very dry and no salt. Rest from it was decent. Hazza breakfast has roasted potato. Wasn’t cooked well. Felt the rawness of the potato. Rest would say was fine. Coffee and Tea was more like some bachelors preparation. But would recommend this place during season time. Can’t blame the folks much since the customers are less. Service was good. No complaints here.

Madness! Among the best places I have been to in my life! Sat in the place upstairs with their small mattresses and the view of the ocean. Food is excellent! King fish curry with rice, sea food Tikka, squid butter garlic are great. Beer is served cold and perfect! Please do visit :)

The most beautiful and peaceful cafe to sit in . We perpetually lived in this cafe the 2 days we stayed at gokarna. Every meal was from here.. every dish they prepare is so so so yummy.. worth trying the bonafyd pie. We had around 5 times in 3 days. It was delicious. I've had the best Chinese, Italian , Indian every cuisine from this place. The vegetable pakoda is something unforgettable. Yummmm. Do try

A great restaurant with lots of options for sea food. Very spacious and can accommodate a lot of people. Food is very tasty. A variety of fish is there in the menu. They serve alcohol as well. Close to the beach. There is outside seating as well from where one can have a direct view of the beach. Service was very good as well. During lunch it can get a little crowded. But dinner is very peaceful. One can hear the sound of the waves from the nearby beach while enjoying the dinner.

Cafe
Mantra Cafe is a charming hilltop eatery in Gokarna that offers a delightful mix of fast food, Indian, and Chinese cuisine. The cafe provides a romantic ambiance with candlelight dinners and live music, making it an ideal spot for a weekend evening. Situated near Zostel, the cafe boasts stunning beach views from its terrace.
Visited this café with my family in the afternoon and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the staff warm and welcoming, and the ambience truly enjoyable. There is beautiful view of Gokarna main beach from this Cafe. We especially enjoyed the pasta, the starters, and the Belgian chocolate shake, which my child absolutely loved. The only draw back is accessing this place using 4 wheeler which was not easy.

We were a group of 6 friends visiting Mantra Café for a late lunch around 3:30 PM. The vibe was chill and relaxed, but I personally feel the best time to visit is between 5 and 8 PM when the beach breeze sets in, live music starts, and the lights add to the overall atmosphere. We ordered a mix of dishes: Chicken Ghee Roast, Chicken Tikka Pizza, creamy mushroom pasta, fried rice, garlic noodles, and a few drinks like Belgian dark chocolate shake and mocktails. The bill came to around ₹3000 for the group. The ambience is definitely the highlight. Beachfront view, pool table, and good music make it a fun hangout spot. If you’re aiming for the beach-facing seats, be ready to wait a bit as those spots are quite popular. When the place gets crowded, food may take about 30 minutes to arrive. The food was okay overall. While nothing stood out as bad, a few items didn’t fully live up to the expectations or pricing. Still, it’s a decent place for a chill outing, especially in the evening.

This place is a solid 4 stars! It's in the Zostel compound and the views of Gokarna beach are great. The food was pretty decent. The red sauce pasta was surprisingly good. The veggie burger was decent, the paneer ghee roast was excellent. Only peeve with this place was too many flies! Management needs to look into this

Mantra Cafe is Zostel's very own cafe. It is quite aesthetic and spacious. It can be considered romantic. They also have a pool table nearby. The food however is just okay and there are quite limited options on the menu in my opinion. The drinks are very limited in options as well. They just have beer and a handful of cocktails based only on vodka. They probably have no license to sell alcohol. They also have live music and singing at night. However, it's still relaxing to sit at night at the cafe and have a drink or two while chatting with our friends or close ones. Their breakfast however was pretty good despite having limited options. I enjoyed their Mangalore Buns and Egg Cheese Mayo Toast Sandwich. The service is pretty good, very friendly staff members. They try to fulfill all our requests. Overall, very good service.

Very lovely and lively property. The view is scenic if the Gokarna Main beach....A difficult place to find through Google Maps, better to contact the property for that. However, it's close to the Ganapati Temple in Gokarna Main Market.

Great food and ambience. If you go during the day, you'll get a nice view of the beach At night, they have nice music and live singing on weekends. Great place for dinner. Good pizzas and chicken starters. Zostel is right besides it. Parking available outside but the road leading upto it is narrow, prefer bike over car.

Vegetarian restaurant
Halfway Home in Gokarna is a popular restaurant offering Indian favorites like chicken tikka and prawn curry. It's a vegetarian eatery owned by locals, serving lip-smacking North Karnataka cuisine in a cozy atmosphere adorned with greenery and dream catchers. Run by a local family, it provides an unpretentious experience and delicious food, including the must-try ginger Kombacha drink.
I had a wonderful experience at this vegetarian restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. They serve only vegetarian dishes, and everything is served hot and hygienically. The ambience is pleasant, and the staff is polite and attentive. Prices are reasonable for the quality provided. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys tasty vegetarian food! Their garlic bread sticks are must try. I also had the pineapple kombucha for the first time which was also tasty and refreshing. While in Gokarna must try this place.

This is the place where you want to go for a peaceful dinning experience with delicious local cuisine. I was hesitant that it was only a veg restaurant but after the first time kept coming back for more. The place gives you vibes of dinning in solace, Kartik who runs the place has a very small joint surrounded by trees and his home. The best thing on the menu is the pizza and garlic bread which comes fresh from the oven. But also their Paneer Butter Masala is amazing. Run it down with some kambucha. For breakfast get freshly prepared dosas, idlis and vadas and you will also get some freshly prepared cold pressed juices.

We had a birthday dinner celebration at the Halfway Home Gokarna. This place gives you typical western/goan costal cafe style vibes. Entrance - 1/5 The entrance pathway is quite narrow and has water stream just on one side of it. It seems bit risky specially in evening or night time as some of the pathway lights were not working properly. Ambiance - 4/5 Overall setup and ambience of this cafe is nice and pleasant. Most of the tables and seating arrangements are of wooden which is done tastefully. Food (Quality, Quantity & Prices) - 4/5 We were group of 4 (2 couples) and had ordered French Fries, Get “a” Feta Pizza, Garlic Penne Pasta, Paneer Manchurian. All the dishes were delicious and we loved the taste. We ordered Halfway Home's well-known 'Kombucha' in Pomegranate and Ginger flavors as the Pineapple and Blue Tea flavours were not available. We had high expectations for their Kombucha special after reading the reviews, but we found it to be average and not particularly special. Staff & Service - 4/5 The staff was good with the services and was attentive.

Had dinner here today, and it was an amazing experience! The ambience is absolutely top-notch and the food was delicious. It’s quite rare to find a place that maintains such high quality in a busy area like Gokarna, but this restaurant does it perfectly. We tried the Crunchy Veg Pizza, Kombucha, Cold-pressed Orange Juice, and Chapati with Paneer Butter Masala — everything was super tasty and freshly made. The owner is genuinely kind and very attentive, making the dining experience even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pure vegetarian restaurant in Gokarna! 🌿✨

The food was very good and it was worth the price. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant which offers items like pizza, pasta, etc. The ambience is also very good. The entrance may be easy to fool anyone into thinking something dull about the restaurant, especially since there is a bigger hotel next to it.

Today we visited Half Way Home restaurant at Gokarn, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. The food served here was simply awesome! We started with refreshing Kombucha in ginger and pomegranate flavors — both were unique and full of natural taste. The authentic South Indian vegetarian thali was absolutely delicious, rich in traditional flavors and spices. Even the pizza had a perfect balance of taste and freshness. For anyone who loves authentic South Indian cuisine and wants to enjoy it in a serene coastal setting, Half Way Home is a must-visit restaurant in Gokarn.

Amazing dining experience at Halfway Home Gokarna. We had the South Indian thali for lunch and kombucha. The thali was perfect for 1 person - tasty, healthy and filling. Kombucha was fresh. We came back for dinner and had butter garlic mushroom, pizza, tomato rice and hazelnut cold coffee. Butter garlic mushroom was the highlight! Others were good too. Ambience was simply amazing. During the day, the place was cool even though outside was sunny and hot. At night, the lights and soft music provide a cozy feel. Will definitely visit again and recommend to everyone visiting Gokarna! Do note - the pizza is only available after 5pm. When we came for lunch, only the thali was available.
