Botanical garden
Nature & Parks
Nestled in the heart of Bogor, the magnificent Bogor Botanical Gardens, also known as Kebun Raya, is a sprawling 87-hectare green oasis. This expansive botanical garden boasts over 15,000 plant species, including a stunning array of tropical flowers and plants. Visitors can marvel at the exotic blooms in the Orchid House and explore diverse sections featuring over 400 varieties of palm trees, pandan trees, agave, and cacti from Mexico.
Calm, scenic, and huge area with the oldest tree from the 1800. A large variety of flora, lake, and water bodies. A place for families, friends, and lots of fun. You can hire cycles, e-scooters, carts, etc. It is comfortable for everyone to walk. Beautiful place to spend a day.
Charmaine V — Google review
Wonderfull botanic garden! This place is an absolute gem if you are looking for a relaxing day in nature. From the moment we entered, we felt like we had left the city far behind. The atmosphere is peaceful, quiet, and perfect for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. Walking through the paths surrounded by greenery was our favorite part, but there are also other options available. For those who prefer less walking, it is possible to rent bikes or hop on a shuttle bus, which makes the area accessible for everyone. Along the way you can stop at small stalls to buy drinks or snacks, which is convenient if you want to take a break. The facilities are simple but sufficient, and everything felt well maintained. We especially appreciated the entrance fee: it’s affordable and, unlike many other attractions, not more expensive for foreigners. That alone makes it feel more welcoming and fair. What stood out most was the sense of tranquility. Even though it is not far from the city, it feels like a different world. If you enjoy walking, cycling, or just spending some quiet hours in a natural setting, this place is highly recommended.

Amazing gardens! Alone half a day at least to really take it in especially if like to learn about the multiple trees, shrubs, cactus & more. Spent 3.5hrs & missed half of it & had to rush - needed to leave city & was to late to complete planned day's next stop but worth it. Trees from not only the Indonesian archipelago but also Africa, India, Australia & more. Great place for families or solo visit - perfect for picnics. Full of locals so clearly desired. RP25.5 on weekends & RP15 on weekdays. A Must Visit! Will try & select best pics, took hundred+. Recommend!
Frederick H — Google review
I came here on public holiday (Friday) it was fast to buy the ticket on the spot, could use Qris methode payment. Near to the hotel I stayed. A bit crowded but still fun, just a bit hard to rent a bicycle, needed to wait for long to get the unit. Over all still good to visit to spending time in the garden and good to reach more than 10K steps walk too 😂
Maharani R — Google review
Cool place to walk (if only you went here in the early morning or shadey afternoon) or else, you need to rent the bike/e bike provided there from 30 thousand to 170 thousand rupiah. No complain at all, the place is clean andd so huge that I guarantee you'll be exhausted if you come unprepared, haha!
Hevri W — Google review
One of my favorite places in Bogor! The Botanical Garden is not just beautiful, but also full of history and fresh air. It’s the kind of place you can visit again and again and still find something new to enjoy. Some tips if you plan to go: • Buy your ticket in advance—either from their website or Traveloka. It's faster and easier, especially on weekends. • Check their Instagram before your visit. Sometimes there are cool events like pop-up markets or live music near the Ecodome. • Getting around is flexible—you can walk, rent a bicycle, e-bike, or even a golf cart. But honestly, walking is the best way to explore all the corners and hidden gems. Spots you shouldn’t miss: - The view of the Presidential Palace (great for photos) - The Orchid House -The Mexican Garden, Aquatic plants, and more! For food, there aren’t many options inside. Raasaa restaurant near the parking area is the best one if you're looking for a proper meal. The cafes near the gift shop are okay for light snacks or drinks. Parking is Rp 50k per car for the whole day. You can bring your own bike too, but there's an extra charge. They open at 8 AM on weekdays and 7 AM on weekends, but members with a special card can enter even earlier (you can ask about this via WhatsApp from their website or Instagram). Best time to go? Definitely in the morning! The air is cool and it’s less crowded. Weekends and holidays can get super packed, so come early if you can. Whether you're with family, friends, or just hanging out solo, this place is really worth it. Peaceful, green, and just beautiful. Highly recommend!
Atir — Google review
Here when it’s weekend and it’s pretty crowded, to be honest it was a really nice place but since it’s weekend, we are only allowed to enter from one gate somehow. And since we already planned to drive with golf cart, you have to get them from another gate which is such a hassle since from one gate to another one is too far.
Monica R — Google review
It's quite big, actually it's a forest park. I see lots of plants, flowers, trees which I've never seen before. For example, I see the corpse flower for first time at black orchid garden, and cannonball trees for first time, too. It's not easy to visit the whole garden on foot in one day. The entrance gate may close at 4pm. After visit, I went to the gate(I remember it's gate 1) at about 6:30pm, the gate was locked, nobody was there, and it was raining heavily and getting dark. I was scared. After while, I saw the "exit" plate, follow the direction, u can go to a beside door, which was still open. Some good news: the ticket for foreigher tourist is as same as domestic visitor, Rp15.5k now.

Park
DEVOYAGE BOGOR is a popular tourist destination that offers visitors an immersive experience in an amusement park designed with the theme of a European village. The attraction features a wide variety of culinary options, exciting rides, and numerous locations perfect for taking selfies. Visitors can enjoy the unique atmosphere while indulging in delicious food and entertainment that caters to all ages.
Nice place where we can see miniatures of iconic buildings/landmarks in Europe, the place is pretty clean and not too crowded. The location is near The Jungle Bogor. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The regular ticket price is 40k for weekend. You can also ride canoe like in Venice with additional price of 50k for 2 adults and 1 child

Calm and cheerful place. Especially if u visited afternoon and before the closing time (4-6p.m) .. not really big but decoration are wonderful.. a lot of hot spots. U can enjoy it if not crowded so avoid holiday. Ticket: 30k per person. They will open the light late (around 5 p.m) and completely changes the view. Good place to chill and take photos
Sara — Google review
For photo only, the entrance ticket 30k for weekday, 40k for weekend, there were so many photos spot available, for the games, you have to pay more, canoing 50k, other games start from 20k..quite expensive i think.. Better visit at the morning or afternoon..
Giggs-gallan P — Google review
I think I was setting high expectation of this place. It was way too far from good. The design was so so, small area. I can't really feel Europe feeling here. Service was ok. But I don't want to go here for the second time. 35k for the ticket fee is a bit unworthy seeing this place. I don't really recommend this place for a weekend escape. Yes they do have some photo spot, but it just biasa aja for me. :)
Renata K — Google review
Not so crowded on weekend in this pandemic. Too bad it was raining we didn’t get to do the canoeing . Went for the mysterious room, 30k for only one part (physical activity or maze) or 50k for both. We tried both and it was exciting for kids. They’re screaming a lot because it’s dark and few time we chose the wrong way to get out. The also limit 5 people in the same game at a time.

Tourism spot that offers instagrammable miniature of popular landmark/building over the world, such as: eiffel tower, pisa tower, windmill, big ben and the most attractive spot is venetia canal. You can ride canoe (1 canoe can be ride by 2 adults and 1-2 toddlers). It also offers mini kids playground, but it's not interesting at all. Entrance ticket (kids above 2 years old and adults): 40k IDR/pax (weekend), 30k IDR/pax (weekday). And you need additional ticket to ride canoe (50k IDR/canoe). In the weekdays, there are bundling ticket (playing and eating) only for 65k IDR/pax you can get entrance ticket to De voyage and meal voucher for selected menus at Rumah Air or De Resto. Overall the place is not interesting for kids but adorable for photo shoot. The area is not too wide, and you can stroll around only in 45minutes
Indah P — Google review
Good place for people seeking an instagramable photo spot, some still under construction. Need more variety of food stall. Kiddos not too keen although they enjoyed it. Might come back when the attractions are all finish.
Zelda P — Google review
Nice attraction not so far from Jakarta. We can find characteristic places in miniature like Pisa tower, Eiffel tower, Big Ben, Lovers' Bridge, Venice, Dutch Mill, UK phone red booth. We can make a short canoe tour. Many benches to take a rest. Nice, light music. There is a gelato shop, restaurant and a small shop for souvenir. Ideal for selfie and spend some time with the mate and/or the family. Better to go in the weekdays, during the weekend may be crowd.

Bogor Presidential Palace, also known as Istana Bogor, is a historical site located next to the Bogor Botanical Garden. Built in 1750, it was originally a retreat for the Governor General during the dry season. The palace is surrounded by elegant lawns and can be admired from outside the gates. While public visits are limited, some have been fortunate enough to explore its interior with guided tours. The palace gardens cover a vast area of 28.
Had a one-day visit to Bogor for a Local Guides meetup and managed to spare some time to see the palace. Unfortunately, I couldn't get up close and could only admire it from outside the gate and fence. My friend mentioned that the Palace opened to the public in 1968, but only for tour groups, not individuals, with permission from the acting President of Indonesia, Suharto. The palace gardens cover a large area of 28.4 hectares. Luckily, I did capture some beautiful photos of deer and other animals walking inside the palace park.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Pura Parahyangan Agung Jagatkarta is a stunning Hindu temple nestled at the foot of Mount Salak in Bogor, Indonesia. This modern temple is built in traditional style and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding lush greenery and the city below. It's a significant religious site for Hinduism in the region and provides a serene environment for prayer, meditation, and soul-cleansing.
Came here to pray with our spiritual guide, true enough how nice and spiritual the place is. The mangku helped us pray correctly too! Thanks!

Drove from tangerang to get here took really long time, and only not allowed to get inside by pecalang since this place closed many months ago. Really disappointed, only to get picture on first step. I guess i just need to see YouTube to know why really inside. Should they update for tourist so people will know they already closed

This is biggest Balinese temple in Tamansari, Bogor. But we only allowed to enter until its hall, since the place after the stairs is only for people who want to pray or do ceremonies. There also some small dining places which sell same items, like teri kecombrang, vegetables, rice, etc.

Gangnam is the best place in Cilegon. The place is clean, the therapists are friendly, and the massage is high-quality. You won't be disappointed with a massage at Gangnam. And on weekdays there is a discount of up to 20% for all treatments 🥹

Very calm and relaxing enviroment especially if you are a hindu, clean restroom, mangnificent view, large parking spots adds all to the already good temple. The only downside is this temple located a bit far from bogor and only has one way access providing a bit of a hassle because, there are many tour bus using the road couoled with narrow road. Aside from that cons, for hindu who looking for visiting this temple any accommodation like foods, canang, banten, incense stick, and lighter are easy to find because there is many vendors nearby.

One of the biggest Pura in Indonesia, it is open for visitor with restriction in the praying area. Its sacred only for the Hindus. Visitor needs to meet the custom and appropriateness in paying respect for the Hindus rituals...

Best spots for hangouts with family’s or your friends. They serve various food and beverages with delicious taste, this restaurant so comfy to chill out or maybe chitchat. Recommended approve!

First time to dine in and “gladly” we got a small number of queue. The atmosphere is luxurious and comfortable. The menu mostly Indonesian cuisines, and for the price is acceptable. We try Gurame Bakar Sambal Roa (124k), taste good and fresh! Also the spices is tastyy. And the other menu is good (i mean really good with that price). The staffs are so helpful and friendly, also the facilities like mushola and toilet is on proper state. It would be great if the outdoor seat has more air conditioners / fan since somehow we feel so humid while eating.

Giving 5 stars because the ambience and exterior here are pretty good. The location is ok, a little traffic to get there, but felt relieved knowing they have a spacious parking area. Came there at night, it gave us chill and relaxed vibes. Love to hang out here because kids are also happy to play around. The food is just ok, but for its price, I think it can be improved.

This venue offers excellent value for money, especially for those looking to host or treat a large group without breaking the bank. However, the lack of air conditioning and uncomfortable seating can significantly impact comfort, particularly during warmer days or longer stays.

Another sundanese restaurant to go when youre visiting bogor. The place is very cool, with the circular stairs and lil aviary for parrots. But the food it self is also good.

Jungle-themed restaurant that serves local Indonesian food. Kluwih is a jungle-themed Indonesian restaurant located in the center of Bogor. The building consist of two floors, both of which serves as a place for people to dine in the restaurants. The place has a lot of jungle-themed aesthetics, including the iconic spiral staircase that circles a garden cage. There's a lot of option to choose from in the menu, including seafoods, chickens, and vegetables. We choose the group package meal as we came in groups. For the meals, the chicken, roasted fish, and the vegetables tasted flavorful and savoury. The orange juice is really refreshing as well. The service is a little bit slow, but it was tolerable due to how crowded the restaurant was. Overall, I would recommend people to try this restaurant👍

This is a rather beautiful restaurant with two floors. In the air conditioning dining area there is even a aviary next to it which there are quite a few birds inside. Food serve is Sundaese cuisine. As a non native, rather good and tasty food. To the upper floor is a large spiral ramp . View is great from the second deck open area. Large variety of food options available. If you re not a member than you have to be satisfied with all the things in ground floor. Im not saying its bad but having incomplete satisfaction is awful. The view in 2nd story is awesome and the combination of design, placing, lighting giving it comfy yet elegant and modern ambience. Its good place to hang out with friends, go on date, or having leisure time with family. You can even do intimate wedding for 30 to 40 packages. The price is average, i can say its still worthed. The foods are an OK, but their signature among the best are Fish and Chip, Chicken Wings and Ribs Eye is a good choices. The taste is good, not too much and not to shallow. Parking space is limited to 6 cars. The place is well designed and easy to access whether by commercial or private transportation. For me its still worth to try.

A good atmosphere with the cool breeze. We could have various kinds of food and beverages with affordable price. But a very good point of this place is that it doesn't have air conditioners but the air is sooooooo good. I and my friends ordered Hawaian pizza, Aglio E Olio, Chicken Siu Mai, Pisang goreng, Mango Juice, Ice Lemon Tea, Jasmine Tea. Coffee shop
Warung Nako dan Kopi Nako Bogor is a unique concept that combines a coffee shop with a traditional home-cooked food stall. It offers a wide range of coffee options such as es kopi nako, es kopi nako duren, es kopi nusantara, latte, kopi melon, kopi susu daur baur, or kopi kah-lua.
I visited Warung Kopi Nako located at the Padjadjaran branch in Bogor. They serve a variety of traditional Indonesian dishes. I ordered the “Paket Krisis,” which includes rice, Soto Lamongan, and tea. You can also switch to red rice if preferred. They also offer light snacks and, of course, coffee. I recently visited Kopi Nako Pajajaran to work from there, and here’s my experience: 1. Ambiance & Atmosphere:
The overall vibe of the cafe was cozy. The lighting was bright, natural light, which made it feel nice. 2. Workspace Setup:
The seating options were comfortable. There were adequate power outlets and spacious tables. The Wi-Fi speed was average, which is crucial for working remotely. 3. Food & Beverages:
The menu offered a good selection and affordable prices. I tried their fried rice and manual brew (Japanese) and found them to be delicious. 4. Toilet Facilities:
The toilet was clean, well-maintained. 5. Prayer Room:
Unfortunately, there was no prayer room provided. Please provide a prayer room as it is an important facility. 6. Staff & Service:
The staff were friendly. My order was prepared quickly. 7. Overall Recommendation:
I’d recommend Kopi Nako Pajajaran for remote workers, casual meetings, and social hangouts.

Fusion of Kopi Nako & Warteg Located in the center of Bogor, this place both serves the usual coffee from Kopi Nako with an additional twist of warteg meals. The packages offered are cheap. Compared to food in Jakarta, you would get a lot less with the package purchased. The place is well-designed, although coming in at around lunch time is a little bit hot. The food is okay.

The food served at the best time, not too long for waiting and we can have a good opening conve. Moreover, the cuisine itself really delicious! They put the flavour inside-out! Not just on the condiment. I'd recommend you to try the Carbonara here.

An Italian restaurant in a beautiful location. The interior is beautifully designed, and everything is spotlessly clean. The authentic olive oil and bread served before the meal were delicious. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Hope to see you again.

This is one of Italian Cuisine restaurant in Bogor that I still visit many times and recommend to my friends who want to find Italian foods that cozy with good food and good service. Their pasta selections are abundance and has authentic taste. My recommendation is their Aglio olio, Arabiatta, and Pesto pasta. Their pizza is also good! You get free welcome bread too which is a plus point ☺️. Overall, recommended!!

Beyond my expectation. At first you see the pizza price, you will think yeah this pizza would be average. And i was wrong... The pizza taste was amazing! Service was good. Tempatnya juga nyaman. I ordered pizza, lasagna, and garlic bread. But for me pizza is top prior. For lasagna maybe you could be better next.

I've been coming to Padre everytime I come to Bogor for a year now and isweae to you it's the best tasting and most reasonably priced Italian Resto in all of Jabodetabek. I generally order the lasagna and the pastas in general as those are my fav foods but I notice portion size varies inconsistently to very generous to stingy in different times I visit. Still doesn't stop me from coming. Would recommend greatly

I’ve passed by this place a few times and it always looked a bit hidden maybe that’s the concept, just like in Italy. Last night, we finally decided to stop by since we were craving Italian food. I was pleasantly surprised the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. We got a table near the water fountain, which made the vibe feel romantic. We ordered fusilli pasta, tomato cream soup, chicken breast, chicken wings, and pizza quite a lot! Since it was dinner, we also had chamomile tea, which came with free refills. The food was so good that we forgot to take photos. Oh, and a funny part check out the ladies’ restroom; it’s filled with quirky photos of handsome foreign guys! So amusing and cool!
