Bower Ponds is a versatile park offering various activities throughout the year. It features ponds for fishing and ice skating, as well as a pavilion with a cafe and skate rentals. The park also boasts wildlife, fountains, playgrounds, Pollinator Park, trails, Cronquist House, a fishing dock, and an amphitheatre. I enjoy Bower Ponds immensely. It's a beautiful park featuring sporting facilities, playgrounds, picnic areas, and walking paths. The experience with nature and the historical significance of this facility are enriching to all who visit.

Beautiful area, good for biking and walking. Nice view of Red Deer river. Many attractions, great place to have a tea in the Tea House from previous century.
Halina B — Google review
Wonderful area to relax, dog walk, bike or picnic. Very tidy and accessible. The only issue was last time, in the parking lot, a guy was smoking crack in his car and it stunk up the whole area. NOT very cool!
Shelie M — Google review
Beautiful park that has it all. There is plenty of parking and easy access for all to the park. There are lots of walking trails and a large playground. There are public washrooms. There is central building that houses the washrooms along with a snack bar and lots of seating. The park itself is peaceful and has lots of outdoor amenities. Lots of benches and picnic tables. You can rent paddle boats to go out on the ponds. There are lots of interesting places and informative information boards to read and learn about nature. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and definitely recommend visiting.

It was a super warm day for October 2023. The walking trails are wonderful with all the beautiful autumn 🍂 colors. The water fountain was sparkling in the sunlight. There are also benches for sitting to enjoy all the views!
Vera L — Google review
It was a great experience. Not only beautiful we had the unexpected pleasure of watching the amazing modernized Merry Wives of Windsor performed by Prime Stock Theatre Bard on Bower. Only one complaint was that the ice cream stand didn't have dairy free ice desserts.
Christina M — Google review
I love this place. Quiet, serene. Paddle boats. Concerts. Ice cream and tea at the Cronquist house. Just good old fashioned family fun. Ohh and right now there's Shakespeare in the Park.
Nick M — Google review
A great place for exploring nature while you walk around the pond and get exercise. Good for the whole family, as there is always something to do or see . Best part is it's free. Except for the rental of the paddle boat's if you want to use them. But they do have a website that posts things that are going on to keep you up to date and if there is a cost or not.

Amazing place! Very nice staff and a lot of fun for the kids. It's a great place to stop to get kids to burn some energy. Nice and clean inside.

Great spot for the family to explore. Family Pass for the year was a steal at 30 bucks ⚾️🏀🏐⚽️🥇🥈🥉 we will go again and again
Shannon P — Google review
I visited the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame today with my students on a field trip, and it was an incredible experience for all of us! The museum is interactive, engaging, and packed with inspiring stories of Alberta’s sports legends. The students especially loved the virtual sports games and hands-on exhibits—they had fun while learning about the rich sports history of the province. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and great with the kids. It’s a perfect spot for school trips or family visits. Highly recommended if you're looking to spark motivation and team spirit in young minds!

My kids loved it here. Very interactive and fun for all ages. We basically had the whole place to ourselves for a bit. Great indoor environment for them to run around, and a great price for a annual family pass! Will be spending lots of time here in the future!

Went with kids to kill some time and this place didn't disappoint. They have fun interactive games for kids and grown-ups alike. Also great to see and learn about the Alberta Sports Excellence achievers.

Great Hall of Fame. Lots of great displays and interactive exhibits. My wife and I thought it might have been boring but that was far from what we experienced. The price of admission was well worth it. I have driven past the Hall of Fame for many years on the QE2 and finally took the time to visit. We enjoyed our visit and recommend coming if you can. I saw a lot of familiar sports faces in the inductee area that I recognized from past years.

Farms
Nestled in Red Deer, Alberta, the Sunnybrook Farm Museum is a delightful destination that transports visitors back to the early 19th century. This charming site showcases Alberta's agricultural heritage with its preserved log home and engaging costumed actors who bring history to life through demonstrations. Families can explore the rustic farmstead, interact with friendly animals, and even enjoy a scenic wagon ride while learning about pioneer farming practices.
Superb experience for kids to have a look at some farm animals, equipment, machinery and vehicles. It’s wonderful to even imagine how people in those times worked relentlessly with those tools and yet never complained, I guess, because we are always criticizing almost everything around us.
Summaiya T — Google review
Lovely place , full of history of the early farmers life in red deer. Awesome staff working there and the burger was amazing.
Aws S — Google review
Beautiful place for kids. We saw so many tractors and other things used in farming. Few animals, small park inside , clean washrooms, no entry fee, picnic tables, parking spaces . There’s Marshall , dollar store and other in walking distance.
Bhumika B — Google review
Great museum featuring old time rural living and farming life. You can get up close to farm machinery and and even farm animals. There are lots of things to see and explore. There is lots of parking. And there are washroom facilities available. My wife and I came at the end of the season so it was quite and not a lot going on. That was okay as we enjoyed the sights with less people around. But for a better experience it is probably best when it is high season. It was still nice.
Kirk D — Google review
This place is adorable and my kids loved it. I found it by accident while looking for Bower Place and decided to let the kids have some fun and learn a thing or three. There were several farm animals to see and learn a bit about, and a huge assortment of vintage and antique farm equipment and buildings to explore. After we left my oldest daughter informed me she now wants to be a farmer which sounds like fun to me!

Great place to stop by and occupy time while waiting for appointment. Great antique items to see. They hold homesteading lessons here too I read somwhere. Great place to learn about the past

The center boasts an array of engaging activities, from educational programs to sleepovers and day camps. Visitors can explore newly renovated exhibits, a natural playground, and a music garden. This is a fantastic nature centre that all of the family can enjoy. The building contains an interpretive centre and gift shop. There are public washrooms and lots of parking. There is a cool play area for kids. There is direct access to the Gaetz bird sanctuary and a 4 km trail loop My wife and I had a great time here and definitely recommend coming here.
Kirk D — Google review
A remarkably well curated nature center. Walking trails, remarkable art. Great science for children. I highly recommend it
Mark H — Google review
Checked out this wildlife sanctuary in the middle of Red Deer today. There is an interpretive center and washrooms as well as meeting rooms etc. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. You can take the paved 1km path or the 4km trail. I chose the 4k going left as it was less climbing versus taking it to the right. It was not crowded and quite a pleasant first visit. If you are looking for a change in scenery go have a look.

I love coming here and to walk and look at the birds. Inside the nature center is really nice and informative. They also sell various kinds of bird seed.

I give this place 5 stars for the beautiful nature it beholds. The building inside is a whole different story - everything is broken and the people at the desk are not welcoming.

Nestled along the picturesque Red Deer River, Fort Normandeau is a captivating living history site that transports visitors back to the days when Native Americans, English, and French traders converged for commerce. Established in 1884, this replica fort served as a vital crossing point before the advent of the Edmonton-to-Calgary railway in 1893. As you wander through its reconstructed walls, you'll encounter costumed interpreters who bring history to life with engaging stories and demonstrations.
A nice historical center with a great green space for a casual get together. Usually pretty quiet and peaceful, and they host a lot of small events. The staff here is exceptional.
Dave B — Google review
Small but enjoyable, the museum building has a nice little gallery and the Cabin recreation is quite nice. The view onto the red deer crossing is nice aswell. I wouldn't plan a day around this place but it is a good stop on any tour of the history of Red Deer
John C — Google review
Historical area. Worth a stop to visit and stretch. The information boards are falling apart and reading the history of the area is hard. It is a big piece of Canadian History in regards to the North-West Rebellion and later the site of a residential school setting. It's too bad the museum was closed.
Leona T — Google review
Really gorgeous little place for birdwatching, there's often Merganser on the river and a variety of other birds. There's a nice little museum and would be nice for a weekend afternoon out. The staff are incredibly nice, helpful and informative and it was interesting to see all the gardens and chickens they have.

Wow what an attraction, saw a celebration of sobriety in the works,it was neat. Prayers for the group.🙏 Definitely a must see if your visiting Red Deer Ab. 👍👍

A great place for family fun, everything is free! When I was there with my family, there was an archery instructor on site, a nice young girl taught us how to shoot a bow and gave us the opportunity to practice without any time limits!
Сергій Л — Google review
Nice natural scenery and good view of the river which gets super busy with rafters / canoers on weekends. Picnic tables with typical fire pits that one can use, although most people bring their own BBQ grills. However, there is no playground area for kids and the person giving the "interpretive" tour is a millenial SJW who provides biased "historical" information influenced by far left ideology
Jawed I — Google review
It was a good experience to visit a historic site and remember what I learnt in Social studies. Its located about 10 to 15 minutes from the Red Deer Sports Museum. It's a very huge place with a beautiful river view ,natural scenic beauty. The staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. I visited this weekend and there were many activities. One was an enactment with cannon and there were many other interesting things to do as a family, especially for kids. At main reception you can get snacks, drinks, icecream etc. The exhibits are really worth seeing. Our Province has so many beautiful and historical places to visit.

Cocktail bar
Restaurant
Occam's Razor is a contemporary tavern located in downtown Red Deer, offering an intimate and charming atmosphere with brick walls. This bar stands out for its innovative cocktails and quality pub food. Known for their passion and creativity, Occam's Razor has gained a reputation as one of the most impressive bars in Central Alberta. The cuisine laboratory boasts dishes that leave patrons wanting more, with their standout Charcuterie Board featuring high-quality cheeses and smoked salmon.
This place is the best hidden gem in red deer hands down. The drinks were well made. The food was spectacular. The items in the charcuterie paired so well together and it was absolutely delicious. The meatballs were melt in your mouth and so flavourful. Great service too. It was pretty pricey (cost us $140 for charcuterie and meatballs and 4 drinks) but the atmosphere and food was well worth it I think. Definitely check it out.
Ashley W — Google review
First of all the atmosphere set the mood. The significance behind each cocktail ingredient and techniques the bartender used “She understood the assignment”. The food (we had the smash burgers) were absolutely amazing. Finished our evening with Matt and were very pleased by the overall service. 10/10 recommend this place.
Lorna A — Google review
We went here recently for my wife’s birthday, it was not out first time here but it was our first time getting food, and it was amazing! We’re both vegetarian and my wife is trying to eat more of a vegan diet so it’s sometimes hard to eat out, so we were very happy to see that we could eat here. I ordered The Valley of The King but they were out of eggplant, so the chef came out to discuss options and went with oyster mushrooms instead, which tasted amazing, and he came out again to talk about where they source their mushrooms from and how he wants to prove that vegan options can “be more than a stuffed pepper” which was nice to see that they’re passionate about their food. Because it was my wife’s birthday, they also brought a little dessert for her which was gorgeous, vegan, and delicious. The drinks here are amazing, so creative and tasty, and I love the option to roll the dice for a surprise drink. Will definitely be coming back soon!
Kal K — Google review
Occam’s Razor was a fantastic place to have a nice dinner out on a patio while listening to live music. They had a nice selection of nonalcoholic drinks that still felt unique and fun, which is great for those who don’t drink. The food was fresh and flavourful and the staff were super friendly. I would recommend to anyone who wants a tasty drink while enjoying local flavours!
Micaela D — Google review
Occam's Razor is my husband and my favourite place to go for delicious cocktails! We roll the dice and let the fates dictate what we are served. It's a fun way to try new drinks. The fact that the wonderful owners are also the best bartenders we have yet to meet means that we always love what we are served. We take our family and friends there when they come to visit us and they have all loved it as well. We have also eaten at Occam's Razor and are so impressed with the unique and DELICIOUS food that Chef Phil creates. We love that he sources locally and that everything he makes is so thoughtfully planned and made. Sooooo good! Best cocktails, amazing food, friendliest team, and the coziest atmosphere... we can't speak highly enough of our experiences there. You should definitely go!
Michelle F — Google review
Omg what an incredibly cute local upscale lounge. The chef is amazing and they have real gluten free options if requested. Service was above par and I learned they even have a cork fee if you bring your own bottle of wine. But one could always buy a bottle and take home what doesn't get finished.
Natasha S — Google review
Where do I start? The cocktails are out of this world amazing! So creative. Everyone who works here is friendly. Food was delicious and was served hot, so you know it’s fresh. Dimly lit with a bar that spans the majority of one of the side walls. Highly recommend coming here for a celebration or for cocktails!

I had the Hocus pocus cocktail (which is alcohol free and delicious) The Cleric cocktail, and the TTL burger with garlic parmesan fries. The atmosphere is lovely and the bartender was awesome, he really knows his stuff

Cilantro and Chive in Red Deer is a must-visit restaurant that embodies the spirit of supporting local suppliers and the community. With a commitment to using locally-sourced ingredients, this family-run gem offers an exciting menu with unique twists on favorite foods and handcrafted cocktails. The seasonal menu changes ensure fresh and diverse options, including great choices for vegetarians. The vibrant atmosphere and extensive drink selection make it a perfect dining spot.
I stopped by here with a friend on our way back home to Edmonton. She suggested we have an early dinner here and I told her that I had never heard of the restaurant before. I wasn't sure what to expect. We each ordered the 'Unleaded Mule Flight'. This included the following non-alcoholic drinks: Frozen Peach Mule, Pineapple Jalapeno Mule, Strawberry Yuzu Lemonade and unsure of the last mocktail. My favorite was the Pineapple Jalapeno Mule. It was sweet and spicy, not sure what I expected but definitely my favourite out of the 4 flights. We shared a feature taco: Birria Cheese Tacos. I hate to say this but there was too much mozza cheese for me in the taco, otherwise I liked it. We then shared two entrees: Jalapeno Cordon Bleu and Chicken + Pistachio Pesto Gnocchi. The Jalapeno Cordon Bleu was tasty, we liked the sauce, potatoes and veg. However, we LOVED the Chicken + Pistachio Pesto Gnocchi! The roasted chicken was cooked just right, very tender and juicy. The gnocchi was fried a nice golden brown...but the sauce...man was that sauce amazing! The sauce just brought it all together so nicely. After sharing it with my friend, we both would have preferred to have ordered it as our only meal. That homemade pistachio kale pesto peppercorn gin cream sauce was AMAZING! We loved the dish so much we have plans to drive back to Red Deer to have that entree again. We finished our meal with a mini Creme Brule. Just the right size of dessert for us to share. Definitely recommend coming here for dinner with the whole family. Their menu has great options for everyone.

First time going for me and my husband and OMG soo good. We ordered 3 meals and shared them because we wanted to try a bunch of stuff and don't live close by. The 'Berta burger, which is the burger of the month, was to die for!! I also ordered another to take with me. We also had the bison-boar burger and it was good. Then there was the jalapeño bacon mac and cheese 🤤, it was soo good. It wasn't like a milky cheese sauce, it was like cheese and the bacon and jalapeños were throughout the whole dish not just on top. Then we ordered the pumpkin cheesecake dessert (to share) and it was perfection! It was light and creamy and the perfect amount of pumpkin and spice and cheesecake. And they also had trivia card game on every table. I would 100% go back! Only downside was that it was a little cold.

Ordered fish n chips with a chai whiskey (they didn’t have Guinness) and I have to say I’m thoroughly impressed. Wife and daughter were also satisfied with their meals. Well done staff front and back!

Stopped here for lunch on our way up to Edmonton. It was pretty decent, everything tasted fresh and made hot. Service was kind of slow, that's my only complaint. Would come again!
Michael G — Google review
We are fans of Cilantro & Chive in Lacombe. This was our first time at the one on Red Deer. We had lunch here. Definitely more space than the Lacombe location! We were given cucumber water, which is great. It needed more cucumbers, though. My wife had the burger of the day - Gouda - where $2 goes to charity. It was mac & cheese day, so I had the Elk mac & cheese. I savored every bite. I tried some of my wife's burger - also so good. They followed up with the usual double bubble gum. Come eat here.
John K — Google review
We went for the fish and chips last night for dinner. The portion was plenty and the fish was done perfect. I think the fries are fresh cut and not greasy. I love crème brûlée and have had it many times, Cilantro and Chive is one of the best I have ever had. Our waitress Amanda was amazing, she was so personal and attentive. She was busy and took the time to talk to us. We will be back!

Nestled on the outskirts of Red Deer, Queen's Diner is a delightful throwback to the vibrant 1950s, where nostalgia meets hearty North American cuisine. This charming diner welcomes guests from early morning until late afternoon, offering a mouthwatering breakfast menu featuring French toast, pancakes, and omelets.
We three stopped enroute at noon on a very cold Jan. Friday. The place has a 50's/60's vibe, and is built like a dining car ... long and narrow. They have a good menu for any taste. Prices are average and reasonable. Service was great. The food was great. We highly recommend the Queens diner for breakfast or lunch if you're in Red Deer. You won't be disappointed.
Dave M — Google review
Best grub in town, friendly, accommodating servers. Incredibly clean, fun, and all around great place to take anyone of your friends or family. Seriously a full breakfast under $15 and it’s not some gut bomb from the fast food places. Service is speedy, have a spare 20 minutes try it there’s lots of cool old stuff to look at. Foods hot and tasty ready to go before you check out all the antiques. Look around after breakfast, stay for lunch. Homemade burgers, not the fresh ones others claim, you can tell the meat isn’t frozen and built fresh with love. Best part is it’s 100% Canadian local community people and if you alter your food to your taste they don’t look at you like your from Uranus.

Dropped by Queen's Diner for the first time and it's a hide gem for sure. A true classic diner unlike the others that try to look like a diner. Nice atmosphere and cool vibes from inside and out. Place wasn't overly busy but we had some issues when ordering our meals. But wasn't a huge deal as they acted fast to get it resolved. One thing I would like to mention tho is to get there fairly early or some items might not be available off the menu. My wife had ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu burger with salad. I myself had the Bully Burger with onion rings. We both enjoyed our meals and would recommend dropping in for a meal. Would like to try the breakfast next time.

Love love love these 1950s vibes! I highly recommend their brunch and the women are respectable, approachable and with positive attitudes! We came here twice already. First visit we are late at Saturday afternoon be advised they open till 2pm only, but with smile and good quality food we are happy! Second visit was with other people who have a toddlers(and you knew they are noisy!) but those ladies are very friendly and I’m glad they have a lot of patience with them. No one yells to those people, so the atmosphere here is very welcoming and peaceful! Customer service and Food must be 💯🌟

Greek restaurant
Nestled in a lively atmosphere, "It's All Greek To Me" is a family-owned tavern that has been delighting diners since 1996 with its authentic Greek cuisine. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting space where guests can enjoy live belly dancing every Friday and Saturday night. Indulge in mouthwatering appetizers like saganaki, the crispy fried goat cheese, or keftedes—savory meatballs served with tzatziki sauce.
Easily my favorite place to be 🦋 If I had to bring a friend/family somewhere in Red Deer, rest assured that It’s All Greek To Me will deliver the best quality of food (Beef Skewers are to die for! + Galaktoboureko), with an out of this country atmosphere, and the most important of all, the service is impeccable!

We had an awesome experience at this restaurant last night. Everything was perfect from the service, the kindness of the staff and most of all the great food. We even had the chance to chat with the co-owner Trevor, a kind and devoted man. We highly recommend this place to everyone in Red Deer. Thanks for the wonderful dinner. Cheers!
Marky B — Google review
Absolutely loved our meal at It’s All Greek To Me! We ordered the Meze for two and it was a fantastic spread for just $39.95 per person. The dips (tzatziki, whipped feta & red pepper, and hummus) were super fresh and went perfectly with the warm pita bread. The appetizers were a highlight—especially the tender calamari, flavorful keftedes (Greek meatballs), dolmades, and the delicious Greek stuffed potatoes in phyllo pastry. The Greek salad was fresh and generous—we couldn’t even finish it! For mains, the Greek-style ribs were full of flavor and the lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender. Great value for the quality and amount of food. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Greek flavors!
Britney P — Google review
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The service here is next-level — friendly, genuine, and full of that legendary Greek hospitality. We ordered the Meze for 3, and wow… what a feast! Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You don’t just eat here — you experience a little slice of Greece. After a few glasses of Lafazines (the Greek house wine), a couple Mythos beers, and a friendly nudge from co-owner Trevor to try some ouzo (which we did!), the night became a joyful blur of laughter and full bellies. To our amazing server — whose name, I’m embarrassed to admit, escapes me — thank you for making the evening unforgettable. I’m blaming the ouzo... it’s all Greek to me now (pun intended!). Do yourself a favor — go check this place out. Bring friends, bring an appetite, and prepare to fall in love with everything on the table. OPA! 🇬🇷🍷🍽️🍺

This was my second visit and my husband's first time. The food was so flavorful and the service was outstanding and so very much appreciated the hosts' recommendations of the Greek house wine, which was excellent. We will definitely return and it is recommended that you reserve a table on the weekend. If you like Greek food or have never tried it, you need to check this establishment out !

We went for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. Also, the server and the owner visited a lot, and that was really wonderful. Very nice and clean, the bathrooms were clean. It was just a delightful evening. We will definitely be going back there many times.

My husband and I get Its All Greek to Me every year for our anniversary and I won’t lie, both of us were a little worried about our yearly tradition knowing that there was new ownership. Well I am so happy to share that the recipes, quality and service is still amazing and the same as what you expect from this place. This is a Red Deer institution and have always recommended and will continue to recommend for anyone looking for great food, quality and a local place to support.

The restaurant caters to families beautifully, providing high chairs and coloring pages for little ones alongside a kid-friendly menu featuring favorites like chicken fingers and grilled cheese. The culinary experience at Westlake Grill is nothing short of extraordinary.
Happy Hour! Our server Barbara was Amazing. She balances friendliness with professionalism in the perfect way. Her wine recommendation (1/2 price 2-5pm) was perfect. We love the atmosphere, it's natural vibe is exactly what Red Deer needs.

Atmosphere the ambience is a cozy retreat with rustic charm, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Antique and western decor elements, including charming tablecloths and unique bronze curlers, create an immersive atmosphere. The occasional sight of horses passing by the windows makes a truly memorable experience. Food The food at West Grill Ranch earns a commendable 4 out of 5 stars. One standout dish is the mushroom omelet, served with whole wheat bread and homemade jam. Each bite bursts with natural flavors, and the affordable prices are a big plus. However, during our visit, the food took a bit longer than expected to arrive—37 minutes for two people on a relatively quiet day. The flavors were worth the wait. Service The staff at West Grill Ranch deserves a perfect score of 5 out of 5 stars. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, with authentic smiles and helpful assistance. Our server checked in on us frequently, ensuring that our needs were met. Additionally, the kitchen staff accommodated allergies without hesitation, making slight alterations to dishes as needed. Overall, the exceptional service truly elevated our dining experience.

Very unique and pleasant restaurant. Tucked away along the river in very beautiful area. I visited on a Wednesday and it wasn’t very busy at all. Menu is not large but has something everyone. Price $$$ was on the high end but food was really good, quality of ingredients were amazing. Would return and explore more items on the menu.

Met friends for dinner on a tuesday night . We picked this as we love the ambiance and in the past have super enjoyed the patio Nice special occasion spot - with interesting menus items - fine dining prices. On night we ate there were a low number of other guests.

Waitress Daria stunned us with her rude and unprofessional service. We asked her to replace the dirty cup she brought for tea, but she didn't bring anything at all. We mentioned lactose intolerance, but she generously poured whipped cream. And there were only two of us in the entire restaurant.

So had a poor experience this time. My wife and I don't live far away and walked there. We been here many times over the years. Very hit or miss, mostly miss unfortunately. We want to support them and do but it's getting hard. My wife was there a couple weeks ago with clients from Texas and had a great dinner. Crazy expensive but was very good she says. Her clients were very sceptical as it looked rundown/not maintained, but loved the steaks. Today we were there for an afternoon treat and had good service but opted for a light snack and some drinks. We had a pizza with drinks. Drinks were fine, pizza looked and tasted like a kid that had never cooked made it for class project. Honestly a frozen pizza from store would have been much better. Always cozy and great setting here, but needs a pile of TLC. If you want to charge the prices you do and have the rustic atmosphere awesome, I'm all in. But rustic and rundown are 2 entirely different things. I'm not sure you realize this. Take an honest look around that place. I'm not being harsh, just honest.

We had an special event to celebrate and we were considering to go to our favourite place which is REDZ. But this time we decided to go and try something new because it’s a good location and the prices are higher so we considered it and assumed the food quality and service is appropriate for the price. However we ordered filet mignon and bison filet mignon and WHAT WE GOT was worse than a Costco hotdog. Food was bland and could not taste any of the seasoning for what we paid and they could at least clean the plates for a $130 dish. The only thing that was good was the canned beer. We also found several pieces of hair in the food. Also waited around 40 minutes for the food that was already room temperature. I wish nobody will have the same experience we did because we really had something major to celebrate.

I have eaten all over the world, experiencing high quality meals with incredible service. For $100 a meal, usually you experience a server who knows the ins and outs of every dish and what drink pairs nicely with it. Hell, I've even had servers pull my chair out for me and explain where the ingredients are sourced from. At the Westlake Grill, you do not experience any of this. We were met with a server who was very kind but didn't know anything about the meal. We were surprised to see that our $90 steak didn't come with any sides. Of course it was so delicious, but when you're paying this price point you should know exactly what you're getting. For this price point ($80+ for an entree WITH NO SIDES), there are certain vibes and things you just *have* to have in your restaurant. I would strongly suggest the owners do some More digging on what fine dining experiences look like and either try to replicate this or decrease the cost.
