Art museum
The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg is a must-visit for art enthusiasts. The museum houses an extensive collection of surrealist art by Salvador Dalí and is known for its unique building with 900 glass panels. Visitors can also experience Dali 360, a captivating 30-minute projection dome show that brings the artist's works to life.
Out of this world experience. The museum has so much of Dali's artwork, that you feel completely immersed in his creativity and part of his own unique and unfamiliar universe. If you're in the area, I highly recommend setting aside half a day or at least a couple of hours for the visit. Also, the shop has a wide selection of beautiful gifts and souvenirs.

The Dali Museum completely exceeded expectations — surreal, inspiring, and so well presented. You can feel the creativity in every corner, and the staff are super knowledgeable. The building itself is a work of art. Highly recommend taking your time to explore!

Salvador Dali Museum in St Petersburg was an excellent tribute to a fascinating, perhaps controversial artist. Staff were friendly and helpful, there was plenty of parking during our visit on a Sunday, art displays were neat, and the using the app for the narrated tour is highly recommended. At the time of our visit, there was a very well done tribute to van Gogh which we opted to watch as opposed to the Salvador Dali screening, which I'm sure would have been quite good as well. The snack / coffee bar was perfect for the visit. The murals section was an interesting addition, and the interactive street art photo booths were fun. Highly recommended overall.

The Dali Museum was so artsy and amazing — like walking straight into someone’s wild, beautiful dream (and possibly their subconscious). I only had a couple of hours to explore, which is basically a crime against art, so I’m 100% going back before I leave. Also… that espresso? Life-changing. I’m not saying Dali himself whispered inspiration into my cup, but I’m also not not saying that. Next visit: slower pace, more surrealism, and definitely another magical espresso.
Vanessa R — Google review
Spent the afternoon here and was lucky enough to catch a tour. The docent was so knowledgeable and pointed out all of the symbolism and facts about the pieces and what they meant. There are so many obscure facts and tid bits that I had no idea about before the tour. The pieces were very thought provoking, and after visiting, would love to read his autobiography and go back to revisit
Jennifer B — Google review
Dalis work is very interesting. You go through the first floor where there’s a cafe, straight to the third floor using the elevator or the stairs. The art gallery is on the third floor, you’re greeted with Dalis most famous panting as soon as you go in, after that it’s his earlier up to his later works. There’s also a VR experience which I thought was pretty cool. To watch the 360° experiences you need to pay extra than the general admission. Overall a good experience
Odeta — Google review
I've been wanting to come here every since they opened, Dali had been my favorite artist since I was 10. I absolutely loved it! All the staff were extremely kind and my husband & I had a wonderful time!
Savannah R — Google review
My overall experience at the Salvador Dalí Museum was… okay. I’m not judging Dalí’s work here, just the museum itself. The first thing that stood out was the price: the entrance fee is very high, and on top of that you also have to pay for parking. For a place that’s already expensive, this felt a bit excessive. Another issue is the storage system. You’re required to leave your bags in outdoor, non-secured lockers or simply keep your things in the car. The idea behind it is supposedly to reduce theft inside the museum if you have a backpack with shoulder straps, they make you leave it behind. But they don’t seem very concerned about whether something gets stolen from those lockers or from your car, which is pretty ironic. On the positive side, the guides and staff were excellent. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and made the visit more enjoyable. So overall: great people working there, but the logistics, pricing, and lack of secure storage definitely took away from the experience.

Botanical garden
Nature & Parks
Sunken Gardens, located just outside downtown St. Petersburg, is a century-old tropical paradise featuring over 50,000 exotic plants and birds from around the world. This botanical gem also includes a traditional Japanese koi pond, sparkling waterfalls, and a pollinator garden filled with native Florida butterflies. Visitors can stroll past colorful macaws, cockatoos, kookaburras, and flamingos while learning about the gardens' fascinating history dating back to the 1950s.
This was a lovely experience and a great look at old Florida! The plants were beautiful and there was a great amount of information. Plenty of opportunities for cute pictures and we got to see a fair amount of wildlife as well. I felt tickets were well priced for the amount of time we spent and what we got to see. I also thought the gift shop was great. There were lots of cute things for someone looking for a souvenir from St Petersburg!
Abby S — Google review
It’s a nice green space with some interesting plants, flowing water features, and a nice retreat similar to other places of that era. If you want some beautiful scenery and wildlife, it’s a nice choice as a regular retreat if you live in the Bay Area. We got a good deal for a family membership so it’s nice to pop over and walk around for an hour or two as one of the few places to get some green around here. There are a couple of shady open areas with astroturf that are good for the kiddos to play. Otherwise there’s not much going on other than looking at things and relaxing. A nice option if you have visitors who love plants, or want something sedate, but mostly just a stroll and relaxing kind of spot.
Alicia M — Google review
Escape the city without leaving the city. This garden transports you into a lush tropical oasis. Surrounded by vibrant colors, calming sounds, and layered textures of cascading landscapes, you can meander the blissfully winding trails for hours. Stop by the flamingos to see them dance in delight at feeding time. The Macaws and Tuscan show off their vivid colors at their own exhibits throughout the property. Other special sightings include butterflies, a kookaburra, tortoises, and turtle. The garden also provides ample opportunities for photo ops and has a gift shop as well.

I'm so glad we finally got a chance to go. This place is breathtaking 😍. Trying to navigate with the map is kinda tricky. There are not a lot of restroom. I liked that we could pack our own lunch, so we had a nice picnic on the lawn. They were also setting up for wla wedding which looked very beautiful. I actually got to see the stunning bride. They also have birds.
Lyrical S — Google review
What a wonderful place to visit. If you have any interest at all in exotic trees, please visit this place. Sunken Gardens has been around for a long time and has some great history. Beautiful blooms and natural architecture of the plants and trees will WOW you. They also have some birds and turtles on site. With a nice little gift shop. For those who are interested for the kids also attached to Great Explorations.

This small garden is really worth visiting. The Chilean flamingo is one of the attractions. Furthermore, there are a great number of trees and flowers which are professionally designed, carefully maintained and healthy growing. It is a magic plant kingdom. Let’s go!
Kevin H — Google review
We visited the Sunken Gardens on a beautiful Monday afternoon and although it was hot, the experience was pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through the lush gardens and watching the flamingos get fed. We found the paths to be a little confusing, even using the map provided, but were still able to find everything and get the full experience. Definitely recommend getting the Groupon for 2 adult ticket admission IYKYK.

Absolutely gorgeous. Pathways of exotic plants, trees, flowers and fruit featuring fish, birds, turtles and lizards everywhere. Tons of insta worthy photo ops with impressive natural backdrops. A beautiful wedding or private event venue. Admissions donated to local wildlife and preservation societies. A must see when in St. Pete

The Morean Arts Center in St. Petersburg, FL is a contemporary art gallery that showcases the works of local and international artists. While it doesn't feature Dali's artwork, it focuses on displaying the talents of local and national artists, with occasional international features. The center also houses a permanent collection of Dale Chihuly's work and manages the Chihuly Collection.
The free admission center displays all kinds of art creations by local and international artists. The center offers all kinds of art classes from photography, painting, drawing, metal work, jewelry, glass, and more for adults and kids. They have some open studios for budding artists to come in and create. Art openings occur about once a month. Memory mornings include tours focused on people with dementia and their caregivers to provide a focused, quieter visit to the center. I'm looking forward to the Jan 17 exhibit of pottery by Florida university students. Wheel chair access throughout. Heavy door at entrance. Wheel chair access parking with most spaces pay by app and a few free street spaces with a 2 hour limit.

We had the pleasure of joining Matt in the Hot Shop for a Hot Date class on a Friday night after visiting the Chihuly exhibit. It was such a great experience and it really gave us an appreciation of the skill and physicality involved in creating glass artwork. Matt was a great instructor and was focused on fun and safety. We haven’t seen our final piece yet because it needs to rest a couple of days. I highly recommend and hope to do it again!
Andrea K — Google review
Fun experience! With the price of admission you get to walk through the Chihuly exhibit and then are treated to (if you so choose) a glass blowing demonstration across the street. Very cool!

I took my first glass class making a pumpkin in the hot shop at Morean Art Center and it was so much fun! Kaylee and Matt were great instructors - very patient, motivational and kept us safe. I highly recommend the experience !

Love this local gem of an art gallery! Wonderful showcases to be seen here by some talented artists. Check out the talent they have when you can. I loved seeing some of the SHINE ON Festival Artists on display & capturing it in a creative, unique way with my glass spheres. Never a dull moment of creative viewing at this charming establishment with friendly staff! I'm excited to see what future shows they offer to the public & and the majority of the time is free. I've even been to a cupcake contest and tasting here! I highly recommend it!

Came for the glass blowing demo not knowing what to expect, but I was BLOWN away (pun intended)!! The experience was super informative while still being so much fun to just sit back and watch. The store front has many beautiful pieces for sale as well.

We were able to visit and view a glass blowing demonstration by several of the professional artists at the Morean Arts Ctr as part of our entry and visit of the Chihuly Gallery. Very cool. There is also a shop to purchase items made by artists at the Center.

I wasn't sure if I would like this museum, but I was blown away. The colours of the glass, the forms, and most of all the sizes of the pieces. what a great place to visit. I recommend that you take the time to see the video, as it explains how difficult some of these pieces were to create.

The pedestrian-friendly area is lined with trees and features a variety of shops and dining options leading to the city's expansive waterfront. Visitors can admire the impressive "Bending Arc" sculpture by local artist Janet Echelman and enjoy family-friendly attractions such as the Majeed Foundation splash pad and a pirate-themed playground.
The area is a picturesque destination, featuring an assortment of restaurants, quick bites, and dessert options. The scenery is remarkably stunning and gorgeous. A splash pad offers fun for kids and kids at heart. Ample seating areas are provided. The trolley service runs every 15 minutes, ensuring easy transportation. Fishing is allowed at the pier's end, and gift shops are available. A weekend market adds to the area's allure.

The St Pete Pier has so much to offer, for crowds of all ages, all throughout the day! First, you can really get your steps in here- the entirety of the Pier has to be at least 1 mile long. But they also have a tram you can take if you don’t or can’t do the walking. There’s a splash park for the kids and a playground, vendor booths with a fun and unique variety of knick knacks, and even an aquatic museum. Of course, there’s eats too for all the goodies. Perry’s Porch is a new edition at the start of the Pier- you need a reservation a few weeks in advance for that one. At the end of the pier Teak and Pier Teaki. Teak is a sit down restaurant on the second floor and Pier Teaki is the rooftop bar- that place is so cool and also serves food but it fills up real fast. It offers a stunning view of the St Pete skyline, especially at night. And in between there’s also a concessions. There’s tons of seating all around, and even a tiny beach right along the water. There is water so you don’t get dehydrated and even free sunscreen. They host many events & festivals in the area too and it’s a great place to hang out.

Soaking up the sunshine and waterfront vibes at the St. Pete Pier! ☀️ From watching the sailboats⛵️ on the bay to the skaters doing their thing, it's a beautiful spot to people-watch and just enjoy the day. St. Pete really knows how to do a waterfront area right. 🩵I can't get over the gorgeous views, the calm bay waters, and all the happy people walking by. The entire area is so well-designed for a day of fun and relaxation. Where the bay meets the shore🌊 and the sunshine is bright 🌞 Sailboats pass by with a graceful, white sail ⛵️ On the pier, life's simple, a beautiful tale🎣 #StPetePier #StPetersburgFL #FloridaLife #SunshineCity #WaterfrontViews #Florida

St. Pete Pier is an absolute must-visit for everyone! It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and fun with a vibrant playground for the kids, peaceful Bay Area lounges where you can dip your feet and unwind, and a lively food deck offering plenty of great spots to grab a bite or enjoy a drink. The views from the main deck at the end of the pier are simply spectacular especially at sunset. We’ve visited many times with family and friends, and it’s always a great experience. There’s also a convenient trolley that runs up and down the pier for those who prefer not to walk. If you go on a Saturday morning, don’t miss the local market full of unique finds, fresh treats, and local crafts. St. Pete Pier truly has something for everyone

This is a beautiful place to take the family. There are lots of things to enjoy such as the splash and a playground. There's beach access and also a tram if you'd rather ride to the end instead of walking. There are quiet places to sit with chairs set up just so you can enjoy the view. I highly recommend visiting here if you're in St Petersburg.

Always a vibe. There is so much going on; this is fun for all ages! There was an outdoor market; live music; people walking their dogs, kids running around having a great time. Towards the evening we took the free trolley to the end of the pier and enjoyed the sun set, cool breeze and some yummy drinks.

The teake cafe has a great view, checkout the rainbow 🌈 we caught from the comfy corner - lots of wind. Makes me wish I brought my kitesurfing equipment- can see all the boats and waves. Such a cool spot. Trolley comes every 10-15 mins and it’ll take you from the parking lot to the pier. Fishers have a nice spot at the end too.

First time visiting, and it did not disappoint. Beautiful museum! I went to specifically see the current kimono exhibit before it over, and it was breathtaking! They also offer a military discount. I'm looking forward to returning to other exhibits and events.

My wife and I went on an excursion conducted by Natilie Velez in Russian. It was wonderful! Natalie knows her subject perfectly. I am very glad that the museum management decided to make thematic projects in different languages. I am sure that such events will expand the museum's audience and cause additional interest in history and art. We will be looking forward to another meeting!

Stunning art and incredibly curated displays! Took about 4 hours to view everything and each step, sight and word read was worth every minute. This stunning exhibit is worth more than words can say! Do make time to check this wonderful museum out.
Thalia S — Google review
Loved our visit! This was our first time touring the museum and it was a great find. We just happened to see the poster advertising the kimono exhibit while walking down the pier, and decided to go. I'm glad we did! The kimonos were amazing and I learned so much about their design and meaning of some of the finer details. The rest of the museum was great to see too. I did not expect to see a Monet or Georgia O'Keefe! This is a great place to pop in if you're downtown. I look forward to seeing future special exhibits.

The galleries and exhibits are wonderful. Prices in the cafe on contrary are very expensive, $25 for a plain croissant, 1 slice of cake and espresso. Also the strange tacky, very large painting of the basketball player or whoever that is, in the middle of the main hall with old school classical paintings is totally unnecessary…out of place, kills the atmosphere of the room….

MOFA was beautiful! I enjoyed seeing all the artwork and artifacts (especially Leviathan Zodiac) and the Clementine Cafe was cool too! I’ll come back! P. S. Enjoyed the Outside In exhibit too! -Henry

Birch & Vine is a top choice for New American cuisine, offering a seasonal menu and cocktails in a modern setting with a patio. Located within The Birchwood hotel on Beach Drive, this restaurant features contemporary dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. While the interior dining room can get lively on weekends, opting for a reservation on quieter nights or dining on the patio provides an enjoyable experience.
From the moment you step into this restaurant, you’re struck by its stunning ambiance. The interior is not only beautifully designed but also boasts an entire wall dedicated to an impressive and diverse collection of wines—truly a wine lover’s dream. The rooftop is a standout feature, offering breathtaking views of the pier that add a perfect touch to a relaxed, upscale brunch experience. The food was equally memorable. Every dish we tried was full of flavor, but the star of the night was undeniably the stinky buns—a must-try! They’re rich, savory, and perfectly shareable, easily enough for 3 to 4 people. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in delivering bold, satisfying flavors. Service throughout brunch time was superb. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure our dining experience felt personal and unrushed. The only area for improvement lies with the hosts; a warmer, more welcoming attitude at the entrance would help set the tone and match the high standard set by the rest of the team. Overall, this place delivers a near-perfect brunch experience and is well worth a visit. Whether you’re in it for the food, the wine, or the view—this spot delivers on all fronts.

Birch & Vine is a beautiful spot in downtown St. Pete that offers a welcoming mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is laid-back yet refined, making it perfect for everything from date nights to family outings. It’s pet-friendly, kid-friendly, and even wheelchair accessible — definitely a plus for inclusivity! The food is excellent — every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and flavorful. That said, it’s on the pricier side, so be prepared for a bit of a splurge. Service was top-notch across the board. The staff was genuinely friendly, took time to chat, and offered great recommendations without being pushy. One thing to note: vegetarian options are pretty limited, so keep that in mind if you’re dining with plant-based eaters. Overall, a great experience and worth checking out if you're in the area!

What a way to enjoy a dinner!!! As we were strolling down Beach Drive in downtown St Pete we ran across Birch & Vine. The weather was perfect for an outside dinner. We had WILL as our waiter. Did I say that dinner was AMAZING! We will definitely return as nothing disappointed.

The service here at this restaurant was phenomenal - the servers were attentive and kind. Regarding the food, it was delicious the potions were a big size. I highly recommend any of the handhelds but honestly cannot go wrong with any of the menu options. The $20 bottomless mimosas are great too.

We are regulars there. Tuesday’s 1/2 off bottles of wine and Apps. Can’t beat the value. Great desserts too! While the food snd atmosphere are always good, Isabella our server made our day. It’s not often we see a kind, engaging, professional who is truly genuine. Multiple places to sit inside and out. Outside is dog friendly.

One of the best in the area for sure! Food is always amazing and the wine list is extensive! Caitlynn was our server this time and she was great! George the manager was also a pleasure! Oh and you have to try their bananas foster desert! We will always recommend Birch and Vine!

Our family visited Birch & Vine in early October to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and it was our first time dining there. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the restaurant’s elegant aesthetics, tasteful décor, and the overall professionalism of the staff. Although the dining style was a bit different from what we were accustomed to, it turned out to be a delightful experience. We took our time reviewing the menu, and the staff patiently answered our questions and provided helpful recommendations for both appetizers and entrées. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, enhanced by live music and soft background tunes that created a relaxing ambiance. The food was absolutely exquisite and beautifully presented and full of flavor. Our waiter, Vincent, was exceptional. He was attentive, courteous, and down to earth, making us feel genuinely welcome as if we had known him for years. Overall, our visit to Birch & Vine was an outstanding experience. The combination of excellent service, fine dining, and a charming atmosphere made for a memorable evening that our family will cherish.

Restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant 500 block of St. Pete's Central Avenue, Brick & Mortar is a delightful haven for food enthusiasts seeking rustic-chic dining. This charming eatery, run by the dynamic husband-and-wife duo Jason Ruhe and Hope Montgomery, specializes in seasonal New American cuisine that highlights locally sourced ingredients.
My partner and I enjoyed the outside seating here despite it being a little hot because inside was quite loud but it made for a wonderful dinner. The menu is quite short but that's a good thing. I still went back and forth trying to choose because it all sounds good. The truffle fries were to die for and my salad was a fantastic array of fruit and veggies I've not had before all of which were great. We ended up sitting side by side so we could both look out at the street. It felt a little tight facing in towards the restaurant looking through the window.

Brick & Mortar in downtown St. Petersburg is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly blends rustic charm with modern flair. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. The food is nothing short of exceptional. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu is creative yet approachable, offering a refined take on American cuisine with global influences. We had the short rib gnocchi and the seared scallops—both were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portions were just right. Even the appetizers and desserts were unforgettable—especially the beet salad and their decadent flourless chocolate cake. What truly elevates the experience at Brick & Mortar is the staff. The service was top-notch—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food. They made excellent wine and cocktail recommendations that paired perfectly with our meals. It’s clear the team at Brick & Mortar takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail. Highly recommend this spot if you're in St. Pete—it’s a culinary experience you won’t forget! Start with Brick & Mortar for a refined, creative dining experience, then sample social or Mediterranean-style menus. * Cuisine: Seasonal New American * Atmosphere: Rustic‑chic, wine & craft beer * Menu highlights (from Yelp & Zmenu): * Ahi Tuna Tartare • Beet Salad • Short‑Rib Pasta * Veal Meatballs • Raw Beef Tenderloin * Also known for braised short ribs with homemade “fat” noodles & mint

Decent place overall the service was very good and filled up our water religiously too. The sweet potato ravioli appetizer was quite delicious. Wife loved the bouillabaisse but my salad with shrimp was doused with dressing so much it made it tough to enjoy. Probably worth a second try.

Easily one of the best restaurants in St. Pete. Love the homemade pasta, the seasonal menu, and the wine list. Consistently great food and atmosphere. It’s a smaller, cozy space (not loud or chaotic), and while you can call ahead, we’ve never had to wait long.

Delicious roasted octopus as an appetizer started a memorable dining experience. Our main courses superb: fresh house made cavatelli with roasted mushrooms is exquisite, as is the confit of duck & curried couscous. The basil lavender panna cotta beyond delightful. Also loved the Citrus tart. Impeccable service: friendly, professional. Ambiance cozy elegance. Must return soon

Located on Beach Drive, Parkshore Grill is a refined dining spot known for its top-notch service and delectable menu. Whether you're in the mood for steaks, seafood, or fine wines, this establishment offers an elegant space to enjoy a meal either indoors or on their spacious patio. The restaurant has become a popular choice for both intimate date nights and family dinners.
From the moment we stepped into Parkshore Grill, we knew we were in for something special. The elegant ambiance whispered promises of fine dining, but it was Brooks—our charismatic, comedic, and slightly suspiciously charming waiter—who truly elevated the experience. Brooks didn’t just serve food—he orchestrated an experience. His menu recommendations felt less like suggestions and more like carefully curated life choices. “Are you ready for the best steak of your existence?” he asked, with the confidence of a man who had personally trained the cow in gourmet excellence.

Stopped in for a late lunch and went with their Parkshore Picnic special — an incredible deal at $28. I had the blackened salmon with lemon caper butter over angel hair pasta, Caesar salad, and a mini dessert. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Sat solo at the bar and the bartender made the experience even better — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Great food, great service, and a relaxing vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to.

Food was amazing, only package l place around that serves Beef Wellington. Appetizers, salads, and drinks all delicious. Main course, Beef Wellington and the Parkshore Fillet & Lobster Tail outstanding. Service was out of this world and the different courses were played out with just the right amount of time. Ended up taking 2hrs for the meal but worth every minute! A must try if your looking for great food, at decent fine dining prices.

I ordered a combo seafood platter and they nailed the temperature on the scallops, halibut, and shrimp. The texture of the scallops were amazing. The shrimp was probably the best I’ve tasted all year. The accompanying sauces tied things together nicely. The portion sizes are a bit on the smaller side so if you are a bigger eater you may want to order a side. Also, we weren’t used to the area and parked in the nearby parking garage which was a total rip off at $25 so avoid that. Street parking probably would have been a better idea in retrospect.

Loved the restaurant, it’s on Beach Dr so parking could be an issue. They do offer valet though. The food was good. I had the skirt steak and parm fries. My friend had salmon and was also pleased with it. I would come back again to try the beef Wellington that looked amazing too.

Sat at the bar solo and received great service . I ordered the special app, burrata, and a fish entree. All were delicious. Skipped out on alcohol this go round but they had pellegrino with I like so that was a plus . Burrata was great and Im very picky about it.

Parkshore Grill is a standout dining experience in every way — elegant, welcoming, and consistently excellent. The location right on Beach Drive makes it perfect for people-watching and enjoying the vibrant St. Pete atmosphere, whether you’re sitting indoors or out on the patio. The menu features a great mix of fresh seafood, perfectly cooked steaks, and creative specials. The filet mignon was tender and flavorful, and the scallops were seared beautifully. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated. Service is always top-notch — attentive, friendly, and professional without ever feeling rushed. The wine list and cocktails are also impressive, with options that complement the menu perfectly. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a relaxed evening out, Parkshore Grill delivers a polished yet comfortable dining experience every time. Highly recommend!

I eat out in Tampa/St Pete a few times a week, and this was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. What made the experience exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Molly—she went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable.

Located at the base of St Pete Pier, Doc Ford's Rum Bar and Grille offers a casual dining experience with a tropical vibe and stunning views of downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay. The restaurant features a dog-friendly outdoor patio where you can enjoy Caribbean and South American flavored seafood dishes made from fresh local ingredients. With its lively atmosphere, delicious food, and wide selection of rum-based drinks, this waterfront spot is perfect for relaxing after a day on the water.
A group of four of us had reservations for 6pm on a Monday for a work related dinner. We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation, and we were seated immediately. Our server was great during our meal. He missed one drink order, which is why I rated service 4 out of 5. I wish I could do a 4.8 out of 5. For everything else during our service things moved smoothly. We ordered mussels for an appetizer. They were decent, and I enjoyed dipping the bread in the juices. I ordered one of the specials - Shrimp and Scallops. The flavors popped in my mouth. It is one of my favorite meals I have eaten at restaurants in the past several months. When I am back in town for work, I definitely wan to com back to Doc Ford's based on my overall experience.

Awesome spot right on the water, very Florida-esque! They have a large menu with many different seafood and non-seafood options. Lots of drinks to choose from - both your standard drinks and a lot of frozen beachy drinks. I love that they have tons of outdoor seating with umbrellas. Service was very quick once we were seated! Cornell was so nice and knowledgeable and really made our experience a 10. All of the dishes were delicious and very flavorful. The sweet potato fries were some of the best I’ve ever had.

This was my second time at Doc Ford’s and it was just as good as the first. I didn’t get food since I was tight on time during my trip, but I did grab a drink and went with the Old Havana. Strong, well made and exactly how I like it. The staff was nice. My server Lisa took good care of me, she was just busy. The views here are unbeatable day or night. The ambience is relaxed, the inside looks great and the outside area has a small stage for live music along with heat lamps when needed. Parking is doable, but you’ll need a little patience during weekend rushes. If you like good drinks, music and easygoing vibes, this is a spot you should definitely check out.

Great spot in St.Pete for waterfront view! Food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait for a table during dinner rush! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. It started to rain when we were sitting outside and they kindly let us move tables, even helped us move tables! without hesitation before it started pouring. The food here was delicious and fresh, I enjoyed the shrimp and calamari. Definitely a pleasant experience to eat here and will come back again!

Celebrated my sister Annie's birthday with my husband last Saturday night and had a fabulous dinning experience. Our server Danis was exceptional in every way and the food spectacular. Of course you couldn't have a better view of the gorgeous St Pete beach and ocean. Highly recommend the Cedar Plank Salmon and Yucatan Shrimp. Danish surprised my sister with a brownie desert for my sister perfect ending to a delicious meal.

Overall, a great experience. My grandmother was visiting and wanted a grouper option, and their macadamia nut–crusted grouper stood out right away. We planned to go around sunset as a group of four, and while we thought we might need reservations, the wait was only about 10 minutes. We even ended up with a window seat to catch the sunset, which made it even better. The restaurant has a big dining room with plenty of seating, so it seems they can handle groups of all sizes. Menu options were solid with really reasonable prices. Most of what we ordered was delicious. The grouper was a hit, and even the clam chowder was great. The only plate we didn’t care for was the flatbread; it came out more like a big cracker—very thin and crunchy, not our preference for a base. Our server was attentive, friendly, and kept checking in, which made the night go smoothly. Food came out in good time and overall was really enjoyable. The only downside was the mojitos—they honestly tasted like watered-down lime juice and weren’t worth it. Everything else though was spot on: good food, good service, great view, and great prices. We’d definitely go back again, just skipping the mojitos.

Excellent food and service! If in St. Pete, Doc Fords is a ‘must visit!’ My favorite part is how many gluten-free options they have available. We sat outside and it was absolutely gorgeous. They have fans on so even in the warm weather it feels pleasant. Service was fantastic, no complaints whatsoever. Beautiful view, delicious food (lots of options) and fantastic service! If I’m in the area, I’ll definitely return.

Thank you for an amazing experience, Becky! We ordered the blackened chicken sandwich, which was absolutely amazing. It was served with a very spicy room alive that was just out of this world however, I opted not to put it on. My sandwich was a little too spicy. Also, the paella was fantastic. Lots of seafood and had really wonderful balanced flavor. The service was incredible! Thank you!!

Il Ritorno is a popular dining spot in downtown St. Petersburg, offering a unique twist on Italian cuisine since 2014. The restaurant's rustic-industrial ambiance and convenient location near the city's attractions make it an ideal choice for discerning food enthusiasts. Chef David Benstock's philosophy of using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create exciting and visually appealing dishes has earned Il Ritorno recognition as one of the top restaurants in Tampa Bay.
This Italian restaurant was an absolute gem. The homemade gluten-free pasta was the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and it instantly took me back to Italy. Service was flawless. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, taking time to walk us through the menu and share their passion for the dishes. The steaks were perfectly cooked, the wine selection was top notch, and the ambience was warm and romantic—ideal for date night or just a special evening out. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates authentic flavors, impeccable service, and a memorable dining experience.

One of the BEST meals we've ever had! Celebrated our anniversary with the Tasting Menu (and wine pairing). Everything was beautifully presented, ingredients were relayed by the service staff and the taste was out of this world! I can't say enough good things about the food and service. Kudos to the entire team!

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Il Ritorno for our anniversary! Not only was the food impeccable, but so was the experience, the staff, the ambiance, it was overall a top dining experience. We did the tasting menu, and the team was so nice to accommodate making mine gluten free (we did call in advance to make sure the kitchen was able to do this for us that evening). Dan was our main server and truly made sure that we were enjoying our time and made sure we felt celebrated as well. We will be sure to be back!

The best Italian restaurant in St. Petersburg. Tremendous team, high quality service, incredible dishes. Consistently great! Our last meal there was the Chef’s Table experience and just wow! The food, the wines, dessert…just one amazing course after another.

We visited here for our anniversary in October 2025, and while the overall experience was OK, we both agreed we would not take the time to go back. The Pros: We went on a Monday night, so the restaurant was quiet and the service staff was very attentive. We were waited on right away and were even given a free glass of champagne each to celebrate our anniversary! The highlights of our meal included some fantastic bread, pasta, beautiful plating, and a great wine selection! The Cons: The rest of our meal, however, we would say was quite underwhelming. The salad was a bit bitter, and the octopus (while cooked absolutely perfectly) had a bit of a fishy flavor. But the real disappointment for us was the meatballs. We did not realize these came fried, and when they were served to us, we each had one bite and decided we did not particularly care for them. We kindly let our waitress know, and even though we left the entire remaining dish untouched, she did not offer any apologies or to take it off our bill. All in all, it is a nice meal. But for people like us who go to Michelin Guide restaurants all the time, we felt this missed the mark.

Truly a gem in downtown St Pete and absolutely deserving of its Michelin recommendation. Service is always super attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere is modern, lively and welcoming. I love the open kitchen concept that makes the whole experience feel so special. I’ve done girls night out dinners and a quick pop in before a show. Bar is fantastic with an outstanding bartender - last time I asked for “bartenders choice” between 2 drinks I couldn’t decide on and Chandler surprised me with an amazing cocktail. Food wise, can’t resist the caviar doughnuts and short rib mezzaluna (my must orders everytime). They’re so good I get stuck on my favorites but every other thing I’ve tried has been exceptional. I always look forward and for a reason to come back!

Il Ritorno is hands down my favorite place to dine in Saint Pete! The food is absolutely incredible. The charcuterie board, bucatini pomodoro, dry-aged meatballs, and truffle potatoes are all must-tries. The service is truly exceptional the staff are so attentive and always make sure you have a great experience from start to finish. It’s easily the best Italian food I’ve ever had, and I look forward to every visit!
