Parks
Kissimmee Lakefront Park is a picturesque waterfront park located in Kissimmee, offering various outdoor activities such as walking trails, fishing piers, shaded playgrounds, and picnic pavilions. It is known for its birdwatching opportunities and proximity to Lake Tohopekaliga. The park also features a splash area for kids, a lighthouse, a military memorial, and wide walkways for jogging or walking.
A beautiful and scenic spot with stunning lake views, well-maintained walking trails, and spacious pavilions available for rent—perfect for a family day or a peaceful stroll. However, there is some questionable artwork on display that depicts Native Americans during the Seminole War era in a way that may be insensitive or historically inaccurate. It’s worth acknowledging and reflecting on if you visit. Also, while the park feels safe and inviting during the day, it’s not recommended to be here at night. The area can feel isolated and lacks sufficient lighting in some spots.

A great place to have a good time with family or friends. Children will especially have fun, as there are many playgrounds with interesting objects, there are even splash fountains for children, great for hot sunny days in Florida. The park has many gazebos, tables, chairs, barbecue. Always clean and beautifully decorated. You can look at the lighthouse or the pyramid sculpture. There are parking lots for cars around the park, downtown is within walking distance with many restaurants and clubs for every taste. I highly recommend this place!

A beautiful and well-maintained park with plenty of space for walking, relaxing, and enjoying the lake view. There are nice playgrounds for kids, picnic areas, and clean restrooms. Perfect for a family outing, a walk with your dog, or just watching the sunset by the water. Peaceful atmosphere and a great spot to spend time outdoors.
Tatsiana T — Google review
Beautiful spot for a morning walk! This place is less crowded, making it perfect for a peaceful stroll. The 2-3 playgrounds are a great addition for kids to burn off energy. The spacious picnic area is ideal for gatherings with friends and family. Plus, the open spaces are fantastic for kids to play around. Clean restrooms are available too! It's also a great spot for evening hangouts. Highly recommend!
Neetish N — Google review
Those of us who love this park, waited a while for the splash pad to open back up, only to be disappointed all of the wall, sprinklers and tree sprinklers are no longer on, which was awesome and also the items that were added to the splash park was a waste of money The tubing are all out which I have put pictures about and honestly they’re a bit ugly. They were better off just leaving the sprinklers on the wall and the tree is on really no need for extra animals, especially if the tubing can’t go in the ground. Also not to mention they waited till summer to do these fixe and turn water off

Beautiful and scenic, this park was a pleasant surprise to find. Full of great paths for walking, a delightful water park for the kids, and plenty of wildlife to observe from its numerous benches, gazebos and picnic tables. Looking forward to our next visit!

Amusement park
Gatorland, known as the Alligator Capital of the World, is a renowned animal park in Orlando that focuses on reptiles. Spanning 110 acres, it is home to a diverse range of creatures including alligators, crocodiles, birds of prey, and other wildlife. Visitors can witness these fascinating animals up close and even enjoy educational shows and wildlife programs throughout the day.
We are avid park hoppers and have had annual passes to the Big 3 in Florida for decades, but this was our first time visiting Gatorland. We now have a toddler and have been looking for more tiny tiny person-friendly attractions, and Gatorland did not disappoint! We purchased discount tickets from a kids expo we recently attended, and figured we would spend an hour or two walking around. Boy, were we wrong! We were there the entire day, and walked several laps around the park. Our toddler was thrilled with getting to feed the alligators, flamingos, and visiting the zoo to feed the goats. The food was affordable and tasty, and the wait times to experience the attractions were minimal. The selection of animals at the park was much larger than we originally thought, and we learned a lot during our visit. Their Halloween setups were really good, although we opted to skip the haunted house with our little one. There was also a really nice playground and splash area for the kiddos, but for to the weather we skipped them for this visit. The highlight of my day was seeing the famous Jawlene! We plan on getting annual passes and visiting again soon!

We visited Gatorland and honestly, even we adults felt like excited kids the whole time. The park was very clean and it was really nice to see the animals looking healthy, well-fed, and well cared for. Watching the alligators up close felt safe and interesting, not scary. The whole park gave us a great impression. There is a really nice kids’ area with a playground and a small water zone where children can cool off. There were plenty of places to sit, relax, or grab something to eat, which is super helpful when visiting with a family. The animal shows were fun and very well organized. The spots for the alligator shows are set up comfortably, and it was easy to see everything. We also took a ride on the little train that goes around the park — simple but very fun and cute. Overall, everything was great. We had an amazing time and truly recommend Gatorland to everyone visiting Orlando.

A trip down memory lane was well worth it. I’m in my 60s now and was only 6 the last time I went. The staff was kind and gave me a Veterans pass (free) and my friends and I had an incredible afternoon. Yep, plenty of gators and other exotic wildlife. Take the kids, bring your out of state/town friends and be ready for a fun time.
Gary A — Google review
Excellent day out, highly recommend. We brought tickets online and for an extra $10 it included the train (which had broke down, but a man was there with a baby gator the size of his hand that you could touch which more than made up for it) a bag of gator chow and to pose with the big gator. They give you a card with these on when you go in and need it to get these extras. You can also feed the baby gators fish from a rod $5 for 3 fish, highly recommend this. You can also hold a small gator and snake for $10. For $10 you can also feed a big tortoise which was a lovely experience. The shows are entertaining. Alternative day out to the parks but still very much enjoyable, one of our favourite days,
Michelle K — Google review
Gatorland is way more than just gators — it’s an awesome mix of fun, education, and “Old Florida” charm! 💚 The information boards are a total win — big, bold fonts that are easy to read, packed with cool facts, and even sprinkled with humor. You’ll actually want to stop and read them all! 😄 Every exhibit is full of personality — colorful, well-decorated, and never boring. From massive gators to rare white alligators, birds, snakes, and crocs, there’s something jaw-dropping around every corner. 🐍🦜 Families love how affordable it is compared to other Orlando attractions, and kids go crazy for the splash park and mini train ride. 🚂💦 Feeling brave? The zip line over the alligator pond and off-road monster truck ride are unforgettable adrenaline boosts! ⚡️ The park’s got a relaxed vibe — you can easily spend a few hours exploring, snapping photos, and catching live shows (don’t miss the Jumparoo show!). 🧡 Hungry? Don’t miss the famous Gator Bites — yes, real gator! 🐊 Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with a tangy dipping sauce that makes them downright addictive. It’s a must-try snack that perfectly matches the Florida vibe! 😋🔥 Love, Jess 💜

This place is a blast. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It's a very clean and lovely park and there are so many gators!! They have other animals as well. They also provide a lot of information about the animals are work hard in conversation of endangered animals. Will be back again. Also the upclose encounter shown as so cute and funny. Those guys are wonderful and very engaging with the audience.
Amanda C — Google review
Great place! Great value! If you visit Orlando without stopping at Gatorland you’re making a mistake. The best thing you can do is the trainer for a day pass. We got the $50 photo package and had such a blast. Over one hundred photos and we got to pet and even hold more than a few animals. It’s also done in a safe and responsible manner which was nice to see. I’ve been to a place in Branson that left you sad over the animal’s conditions, this was far from that.
Josh P — Google review
Must do. Veterans special makes us vets feel great. Much to see. Everyone is friendly. Nice lay out . My 3 yr old grand kid had a great time. Good 4 kids. I've seen a lot of gators in my time. They have a few of the biggest I've witnessed. Cool.

Museums
The Museum of Military History in Kissimmee, Florida offers a unique and diverse perspective on the U.S. military through relics, photographs, and personal stories. While Orlando is known for its theme parks, the city also boasts a vibrant artistic community with fascinating cultural institutions like this museum. Visitors can explore interactive exhibits that showcase artifacts from past wars and gain insight into the soldier's experience.
What an amazing museum. They have a large selection of various memorabilia from the revolutionary War all the way up to the current war on terror. The staff were also amazing and I had a great chat with them. I would definitely come back and I recommend this to anyone that enjoys history.
Phil J — Google review
Stopped in Orlando to visit this museum, the staff was very passionate and had a lot of information to share with us which I thought was very lovely. Everything was displayed very nicely and was in order of Each war. I love seeing all the photos and uniforms with information. I’d recommend this place to anyone !

Thank you for having the Salute to Veterans on August 9, 2025. It meant so much to the guys and gals, and many attendees were able to learn so much history, as did the children and teenagers who attended as well. This was meaningful and useful. I tried to leave a review for the City of Kissimmee to thank them for their sponsorship, but there is no review option on their page. Please share my thanks with them. Paula Blackwelder

"In Orlando, there's the Military Museum—a great place to visit. You’ll find a lot of history related to the military, with plenty of art and exhibits to explore. It’s a well-organized space, rich in culture, and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in learning more about military history."
Olguita C — Google review
Museum needs to be more organized. The exit should be the entrance, from the start of George Washington. A small TV is towards the back in a small corner with excellent Documentary and live footage, however, the TV should be a 85 inch which there is plenty of room to hold one, not a 40 inch and no seats for anyone to view it. There are some areas where the items look like they have been thrown there.
Nicasio G — Google review
The building on the outside looks small, but don't let it deceive you. It is jam packed in there with a library! So very cool. I love how all of the items were donated to the museum. We were able to see the individual stories for a lot of our veterans for the different wars as well.

it is a super interesting museum, full of gadgets!! lots of history. we even got a free book. loved it. totally worth the visit

My youngest daughter wanted to go here so my father and I took her. She loved it. It was neat seeing things from the revolutionary war to present. We will definitely be back. The staff was awsome. More than willing to make our visit awsome. I recommend to go check this place out if you want to do something other than the parks

Nature & Parks
Shingle Creek Regional Park, located in Kissimmee, is a 1,000-acre urban oasis that serves as the northernmost headwaters of the Florida Everglades. The park features multi-use trails for hiking and biking along the 23-mile creek, offering opportunities to observe diverse wildlife such as armadillos, birds, raccoons, and turtles. Visitors can also enjoy activities like fishing, paddling, and picnicking amidst picturesque natural surroundings.
Been living in Kissimmee, FL for 17 years now, this is the first time my husband and I have gone to Pioneer village at Shingle Creek. I must admit, this is my new favorite place. I wish I lived in this timeframe of the Pioneer Village. What awesome views. Brings me back to this time, like The Waltons tv show. We went here to walk the trails for the first time. We were not disappointed. The scenery is gorgeous. The trails are marked with little signs of a hiker with an arrow pointing direction. There were picnic areas throughout. There were trash cans there also. A small playground at the entrance of Pioneer Village and a bathroom. The trails were hard dirt, cement, and grassy at times. Good for walking. Not loose. Everyone we passed while walking were friendly and said hi, just like the old days when people were friendly towards each other. Not like nowadays. Some had dogs on leashes. The pups looked like they enjoyed being in the woods. Definitely will be back often

Great park to walk around. Beautiful scenery and very quiet and natural. Some areas were paved but some were rough. Boardwalk was really cool! We'll definitely go back again. You need to access park from 192 or across the street at visitor center. The same name park at the end of bass lake rd is a tiny park with a dog park area and a small walking trail with exercise stations.
CHEFTIMP — Google review
Shingle Creek is a hidden gem. The park follows the creek through an area harvested of trees at the previous turn off the century. The park is quiet and beautiful and a total surprise inside of Orlando. They have walking trails and kayaks for rent plus a bicycle path.
Michael C — Google review
We did not make it into the village. The trail is decent but I did find the directional signage lacking a bit. I didn't like that on part of it you could see new construction near by.
Kathy R — Google review
Small, but nice little park with a dog park, playground, small walking trail, and an interesting exercise equipment and games setup along the path to keep kids and adults engaged. If I lived closeby, I would go more regularly, but I'd say it's not a park that I would recommend a long trek to get to it. I think about 45min was all we were able to do before we were ready to call it quits.
Paul V — Google review
The area looks nice, but as you walk through the park and the trail under the bridge to the other side. Nothing but homeless people sleeping, others drinking and doing drugs. Smells like urine terribly. I'm so glad I had my boyfriend with me. Probably won't go back.
Jen — Google review
Standard dog park but with LOTS of shade space! There’s a picnic table in both large and small dog sections, and the water fountain works! Great spot for dogs to run around!

Dinner theater
Step into a world of chivalry and excitement at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, where history comes alive in a grand castle setting. Since its inception in 1983, this iconic dinner show has captivated audiences with thrilling jousting matches featuring six knights battling it out on horseback. Guests can indulge in a delightful four-course meal served without utensils, allowing for an immersive dining experience that includes roasted chicken and herb-roasted potatoes.
We had an absolutely wonderful time! Not to give much away... but our guy did end up winning which probably made it that much better! The queen and kings performance was so much fun to watch. We didn't have to wait long to be seated and service was quick. The tomato soup was so good and so was the corn! Had we had the option we would have just went with the soup (weird right? Skip the chicken? How terrible of us!) Only complaint was bit of workers having to walk to serve or sell items in the show and it would sometimes block your ability to see. Otherwise we would go again with a group of friends!
Shasta D — Google review
Sooooooo much fun. Took the wife and my 18yr old daughter. She didnt seem to excited to be going but by nights end she had lost her voice from yelling. Is was so much fun. The horces were absolutly stunning to see perform. The actors were top notch. The food was much better than I would have expected. I highly recommed you go at least once, you wont be disappointed!!
Brian ( — Google review
Medieval Times never disappoints! This recent visit was truly one of the best shows I've seen. The performance was outstanding, full of energy, skill, and excitement from start to finish. You can tell the cast is incredibly dedicated, and it makes the entire experience feel immersive and magical. One thing I always appreciate is how well they take care of the horses. They're clearly treated with so much respect and attention, and it shows in how beautifully they perform. The food is delicious every time, and the fact that the meal even comes with dessert is a bonus. It's hearty, flavorful, and adds perfectly to the whole medieval atmosphere. No utensils are always a fun, immersive touch. I come every couple of years, and I'm always impressed by how consistently good the experience is. Medieval Times continues to be a guaranteed great time. Entertaining, unique, and absolutely worth returning to again and again.
Taylor C — Google review
I had always wanted to go to Medieval Times and I was not disappointed when I finally visited. The castle was lovely down to the thrones, armor and decorations. I was very impressed that the roasted chicken was so delicious considering they served 1,000 attendees. The show was really cool. The horses and falcon were well trained and very entertaining along with the jousting and sword fights. We had a great time!
Miranda A — Google review
Great attention by all employees. There were 12 in our party and we had an awesome time! The food was also good. The show was very entertaining and worth the time.

I’m 27 and my two friends are in their 30s — and you know what? None of us regretted coming here 😎 The food was surprisingly good! The tomato soup (or should I say “dragon’s blood” 🐉🍲) was excellent, and the corn, chicken, and baked potatoes were absolutely fire 🔥 The service was great — they even brought us extra chicken 🙌 Big thanks for that, 5 stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And the show… totally worth every penny. Pure fire, energy, and fun — just fantastic! 💥🔥 This place is a must-visit. 👑
Elfan M — Google review
We had a great time. We got there really early to ensure that we got good seats. Come to find out that in order to get good seats, you have to make sure that when they call your color of crown to get there before everyone else in your table. If not, you will be stuck all the way in the corner. Overall, the experience was really nice.
Betsy B — Google review
The last time I went to the show was about 22 years ago when I was little. I made a very spontaneous decision to go this last Saturday 8/16 and it was the best decision I’ve made in a while haha. The atmosphere is top notch, I went for the VIP tickets and ended up sat right behind my knight! Go Red and Yellow! The food is tasty, filling and fun to eat. The show was wonderfully performed from the squires to the royals to the animal specialists. Will be back soon!

Came here simply to try some new food at a new place! The staff was incredibly nice and the place was very clean too! The food was absolutely remarkable at this hidden gem! I didn’t even use any sauce since the flavor was so good I didn’t want to cover up the flavor of the herbs and spices! The Gyro platter was delicious and my girlfriend loved her chicken skewers! The Lebanese salad was phenomenal also! You must try this place, it’s so good and I’d eat here weekly if I lived here!

I recently ate here with the family when staying in Kissimmee. We're an English family on holiday. The food we ordered tasted great. This included both chicken and beef gyros, fries, drinks and a portion of rice. For dessert we ordered baklava. When in the area again, we will definitely be returning.

This was a wonderful gem to find. I was heading to another restaurant, which at the time was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. When I looked for a different choice, I saw this place. I was extremely happy with portion size compared to price, but the one thing that made this place stand out was the taste of the food. The flavor was perfect, and it had me looking forward to the leftovers. Appetizer choice was falafel and baba ghanoush. I had the chicken tikka with hummus and harira soup. My husband had the shish kabobs with beef & lamb, Lebanese salad, and rice. For dessert, we had baklava pistachio. All the food was beyond exceptional. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Being a coffee lover, their coffee, not the American version. It was strong, flavorful, and came on beautiful dishware. This will be a frequently visited restaurant as there was nothing negative about my experience. Thanks to all the staff for providing a wonderful dining experience.

Came here from the UK and tried the super sampler it was so good but filling had to get a to go box so I enjoyed it the next day. My favourite was the fries they were SO crispy and perfect I will be thinking about them for a while. The staff were lovely and there’s a great choice of sides. The speaker outside was a bit loud and kept crackling on and off music but besides that absolutely would come again.

In my 29 years on planet earth I’ve had a lot of different ribs and authentic BBQ, from Texas BBQ to hand made home smoked ribs and more. This was by far the best food I’ve ever eaten. The pulled pork, ribs, home made sauces, even down to the home made corn bread—it was all perfection. Even the environment and service was unique and felt like “home”. 10/10. Side note: please make your Mac and cheese sides larger!

Good food. Great price! The Big John’s Breakfast was delish $12 homemade and the biscuits and gravy 10/10. Such a nice family business.

I saw this place the last time I'd visited the nearby park, finally came back to give it a try. The food here is AMAZING. Best thing is the andouille sausage, the fries, and the collard greens. We got the sampler and everything was great!!! The only thing I didn't like was the coleslaw, as I wish it was sweet, but other than that I have no complaints. Now, I can tell they're low on staff because it took us a little bit to get seated/our food, but I can PROMISE you it was worth it. Our waitress was SO FRIENDLY and came in to check on us when she could. I really recommend checking this place out, especially for the theming as well. I hope this place gets more staff because I can see it being REALLY popular. I'll be coming back for sure.

The service was extremely slow. Our server came every 25-30 mins to check on us while we waited for our food. We waited a little over an hour for our food. The food tasted great, the potato salad was super great! I got a stout for my beer, which was also excellent.

Great happy hour 2 for 1 deals 😀 very fresh food and flavors... even the rice and beans were just yum. I didn't see the restrooms but everything was clean and in order from what I saw. Gotta try desserts next time! Thanks

Ratings from my family of 5. Chip & salsa was pretty good but they charge for extra salsa. Lunch Menu: 1. Chicken & Shrimp quesadillas It was huge! It was good 2. Chimichanga - it was good Tapatio Sampler - pretty good Specialties: 1. Molcajete Tarasco Steak, chicken, shrimp, ground pork, etc in a clay sizzling pot. - it was delicious! T-Bone steak, medium - pretty good - steak became well-done since it was still cooking on the sizzling plate so it was too cook and hard to chew; so, get a medium-rare or rare if you like it medium done... Atmosphere & decor was very festive and warm; almost felt like you're having dinner at home and a cozy spot. I definitely recommend this location. Good portion and price is decent.

It's the best and most delicious Mexican restaurant in America. I love the place soooo much and I love them food. They have the most amazing dishes. The thing I want to tell you is that them food is made with love. You know this from your first bite. Their service is really great. All the waiters are really friendly and even their manager who monitors everything and makes sure everyone gets the best service. A lot of thanks to Magaly, Alex, Anita and whole sfaff at tapatío. The food was beyond delicious, I love the place and everybody makes our visit great. A good experience outside from Cancún, Mexico. Dont forget to drink Margaritas!

Extremely Disappointed with the Service I placed a family to-go order from El Tapatio today, and unfortunately, we received the wrong order. We immediately called the restaurant and spoke to the person who claimed to be the manager. Shockingly, all we were told was, “There’s nothing we can do, call your bank and dispute the charge.” We even offered to drive the incorrect order back—despite the fact that it would take 34 minutes in traffic to get there and another 47 minutes to return. There was no attempt to correct the mistake or even acknowledge their error. No apology, no solution—just complete disregard. I’ve been coming here for years with my family, but this experience was absolutely unacceptable. A business that refuses to take responsibility for its own mistakes and lacks basic customer service will eventually lose loyal customers. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Really good!!! After a long weekend at Orlando this place was perfect for a delicious caldo de res 😋 it was really tasty and the price really good we also had a delicious cheese dip that I really loved cause at the other places is always the same one really yellow cheese, this cheese was so good 👍. My husband ordered the chipotle chicken and it was really good too , we also had a margarita of the house and yeah I love and recommend this place but please put napkins at the tables thank you

Found this gem while searching for Mexican Food close to our AirBNB. Easy to find and lots of parking. Walked in and front staff greeted us warmly. Gave us seats. Lots to pick from and margaritas are amazing very large. No shortage of chips and salsa while you wait for your meals. They have plenty of flavoured drinks for kids or whoever enjoys it as well and the menu is definitely expansive in a variety of dishes and combinations. You won’t be disappointed. It was our little guys birthday day so they also sang which gathers all the serving staff and ring a bell. Very nice and great experience. Also provided on a birthday was fried ice cream.

American restaurant
Woodsby's Cafe is a charming country diner located in Kissimmee, offering hearty American breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a cozy setting adorned with deer heads. This cafe is renowned for serving some of the best southern-style breakfast dishes in the area and opens at 6 am every day of the week. Whether you're craving French toast or pancakes for breakfast or a cold sub, salad, grilled melt, or burger for lunch, Woodsby's has something to satisfy your appetite.
Was busy, but we got in and seated quickly. Had some of the best service we've ever had. The food was excellent and the servers recommendations were great too. Would have went back during our vacation but ended up running out of time. The breakfast foods were great and so were the burgers. Recommend a stop in if you are able.

Went there for breakfast and had a lot more food than we could eat. Everything was good so I would recommend the biscuits, the pancakes, the home fries, the gravy, eggs, and bacon. But this Shelley was our waitress who was very friendly and efficient ! Strongly recommend you try it out they have nightly specials too, and they look good also.

On vacation with the wife and was looking in the area for a good southern style breakfast outside the normal Orlando tourist traps. This place came up on trip advisor, and I am happy we made the drive out to it. Food was great! Fresh cooked with a lot of options. Server and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Coffee was surprisingly good for a cafe, and OJ seemed to be fresh squeezed. Building looks a little sketch when you drive up, but don’t let that deter you. Lots of older locals coming in and out, who the staff knew by name, so you know the food has to be good. I had the 1/2 sausage gravy with 2 eggs over hard and 2 sausage patties (they also offer sausage links). The wife had stuffed French toast with bacon.

Steve worked in a diner in 1967, and is picky about diners. He’s military, so we’ve crossed the US three 1/2 times and he always searches out local diners. We drove from Nona to check out Woodsby’s. Steve liked it! Said there were many more things to try than just breakfast. The plates going past looked great. We came on a Friday afternoon and chose to sit at the bar because Steve was hungry. Good move! We got to hear Anna belting out along with the 80s feel-good songs overhead. Anna also led the staff in singing happy birthday to a teen with a large family behind us. I was reminded of the Cheers bar, “Where everybody knows your name, and they’re always glad you came.” They were friendly to everyone and I noted the clientele was very diverse. The servers greeted people like family. Steve said, “Why—-they’re having fun!” It’s rare to find a place where the people are happy to work there. Woodsby’s has hit that magic spot. It’s that magic that draws the community in. The food was good ol’ American classics. They have breakfast all day so Steve had the biscuits and gravy. I had a great, filling house salad for a great price: it had bacon and hard boiled egg, plus croutons, fresh lettuce, cheese and tomatoes for only $8.99! You could also get a smaller size of the salad for even less. With dressings made in-house! The decor was like our Alabama in-laws’ kitchen: a sweet collection of ceramic roosters and chickens behind the register; plus head of deer and large screen tvs scattered here and there behind the bar and throughout the place. Food costs are getting high and Woodsby’s has had to adjust, but I think we still paid less than other diners and we got to support a small business with a huge heart! Get here early, because the devotees don’t mind waiting and there is a wait sometimes. I’d say the current 4.7 stars is accurate because the sausage gravy and ranch dressing were short on flavor. I mean, there was a lot of sausage in the gravy but it lacked sage; Steve said it tasted almost like chicken gravy. He peppered it and that fixed it. And the biscuit was fluffy and perfect. So the biscuits and gravy were okay. My ranch dressing tasted mostly like mayonnaise; it lacked the oomph of garlic and seasonings, which you could still detect, but barely. So all in all, I highly recommend Woodsby’s! Five stars from me because we need great American diners!

This place is literally a GEM! The most amazing food and staff! We were on vacation and stopped in on a whim and being from Wisconsin, the "Midwestern Nice" states? They could out nice the whole Midwest! Our waitress was the most amazing waitress I have ever had! My daughter is currently a waitress and she looked at me and said "Wow! She's awesome! Way better than me!" But you could tell it comes naturally! At one point she had a conversation with another waitress in front of our table and they were both total sweethearts! She named off the specials and my daughter and I just about started drooling... Just about everything is made in house. Burgers, chicken and dumplings... You name it! That was our type of place and I was SO glad we stopped there! We took a 2 week Vacation - a road trip from Central Wisconsin to Florida and back... Usually, I'm guilty of researching every restaurant... Total foodie. This time I picked as we went. This place was the best restaurant we stopped at, hands down! And besides myself, they had 3 picky eaters at that table. I know they couldn't even tell because they all ate as much as they could that day! Everyone left full! Good food. Good prices. Good portions. Amazing staff. I hope to see Woodsby's Cafe again one day!

First time here and the service and food were on point! Our waitress, Rae, was very friendly and attentive! I ordered the meat lovers omelet with toast and grits. My mom ordered a pancake, scrambled egg, and ham.

We are from NY we were visiting the area and we stumbled on this place. Delicious breakfast. It tasted like grandma made it. Oh and they have the beat pancake ever. The waitress was very nice and so is the cook or the owner who came to check on everyone.

Seafood restaurant
J Crab House is a cozy restaurant that offers a delightful selection of seafood infused with Filipino flavors. The menu is not only incredible but also humorous, and the wait staff is exceptional. While it's a bit pricey and reservations are necessary, the outstanding seafood options make it worth every penny. This family-friendly spot in Osceola County serves up delectable crab dishes like snow crab legs and Dungeness crab, along with other seafood items such as fish and shrimp.
I called to see if the restaurant would be open, since Milton had passed a few days prior. He answered the phone & said yes, they were open. We made a reservation & he took our food order over the phone. I thought it strange at first, but it was amazing. HE CAME IN AND OPENED UP JUST FOR OUR PARTY OF 4! He was attentive, got us anything we needed and the food was amazing!! Go see his place, it gas a great comfortable atmosphere. He & his Mom run that restaurant, just the 2 of them! All I can say is WOW!!

Fabulous food and service! We ate here last year and returned this year. Did not disappoint! Food was perfectly cooked and sauce was fantastic! I used website to book reservation. Received an email confirmation. Arrived at restaurant And rang bell out front. Everything was ready to go for us. Very organized process. I saw a review about frustration with communication. I will share my thoughts. This is a mother and son (2 person) operation. They have an easy to follow reservation only process that allows them to focus on quality of food and service. Embrace it! You won’t be sorry! Ps. I believe they do offer to go and outside dining without a reservation.

This place is seriously the best in the area! We make it a point to come here whenever we are down in the Orlando area. The owners are so nice and really have amazing customer service. Order the combo #5 for a little surprise! Their spice blend is absolutely delicious!! (It’s a secret recipe and one taste will tell you why! Don’t miss out!!!) Make sure to make a reservation before you go because that’s the only way to get a table.

First time here, and we loved it. Super clean family run seafood restaurant. All Covid precautions plus. Great menu of soups, fried seafood, boils. Meals served with corn and potatoes, option to order other sides. We tried the gumbo which was loaded with seafood and delicious. Then ordered a combo with shrimp and crab, served with a buttery Filipino sauce. It was so fresh and delicious! We also ordered wine and beer, had a nice time enjoying a laid back atmosphere. We ordered caramel cheesecake to go. We definitely recommend, and will definitely return.

Unbelievable quality and taste! You will NOT be disappointed. James will take wonderful care of you, as he did for us. The fried shrimp are to die for—the shrimp are from Ecuador and are unequaled from any we’ve ever eaten before! The snow crab is also amazing! Go now and you’ll be dreaming about it forever!

Great food for honestly a great price. You might balk a little because of some of the prices, but when you see how much food you actually get, it'll make so much sense. And it's made with a homemade vibe, you can't help but want to come back again! Everyone here was so nice, the guy who served us even took our picture and sent it to us!
