Riverwalk is a charming riverside park located in downtown Bradenton, offering a 1.5-mile scenic walk along the Manatee River. It features various amenities such as a playground, benches, and vast grassy areas for picnics and outdoor activities. Visitors can enjoy beach volleyball courts, a skateboarding park, an amphitheater for live entertainment, and a day dock for boaters.
A relaxing stroll along the river, walk it fast, or take your bike for a ride. It's picturesque and usually a breeze off the water to cool it down a little. Several restaurants along the way too and Oak & Stone has a rooftop seating area overlooking the river. If you're lucky you might even see the Mayor down there. Hi Gene! Always a good stop at the Riverwalk.

It amazing place to ride bikes and take pics. There is a playground for the kids and watching all the boat going up and down the river. Love this place
Jerri M — Google review
Visited the Bradenton Riverwalk recently. I would’ve loved to spend more time there, but the heat and humidity quickly became overwhelming. My goal was to capture photos and videos throughout the entire park, but I only managed to scratch the surface of this beautiful walkway that runs along the Manatee River in downtown Bradenton. The Riverwalk offers lush vegetation, mature trees lining the wide sidewalks, children laughing in the splash park, perfectly manicured lawns, and historical markers placed thoughtfully along the trail—all contributing to a peaceful and scenic environment. While there weren’t many people out that day (understandably, due to the heat), it’s clear that the City of Bradenton is doing an excellent job maintaining this gorgeous public space. I fully intend to return during a cooler season to experience the Riverwalk in its entirety. For anyone visiting the area, this stretch of downtown is definitely worth the stop—a subtropical oasis nestled along the expansive Manatee River. Yes, I’ll surely be back to complete the excursion.

What a wonderful experience it is to go for a walk in this place, listening to the sea and admiring the landscape of the region. Thank you to the city hall for the beautiful place for a night walk.

What an excellent, well thought out community boardwalk! My wife really enjoyed it. It was the icing on the cake for our vacation.

So clean and engaging! I love all the signage, the spots to rest, or play, or just be in nature. A very special place.

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Robinson Preserve is a 487-acre nature preserve located in the Palma Sola area, featuring coastal and wetland habitats. The preserve offers various recreational activities such as hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, and wildlife viewing. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking and environmental education at the visitors center. With a new waterway system to restore tidal flow within the coastal habitats, Robinson Preserve provides an opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to explore its diverse ecosystems.
I visited Robinson Preserve a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It’s a perfect place to walk, relax, and connect with nature. Very peaceful, with well-maintained trails, beautiful wooden bridges, and an observation tower with stunning views. Admission is free, and there was no need for tickets or a waitlist (at least on the day I went). An ideal spot to unwind and enjoy Florida’s natural beauty. Highly recommended!

Robinson Preserve: A Nature Lover's Paradise (and Dog-Friendly Too!) Robinson Preserve is an absolute treasure and a truly fantastic destination for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors. It's a great place to go with your dog, offering ample space for them to explore alongside you. This preserve is perfect for those who love to exercise and enjoy nature. With its extensive network of trails, you can walk, run, or bike through diverse ecosystems, from mangroves to open fields. It's incredibly well-maintained and quiet, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The paths are clear, and the natural beauty is preserved, making for a truly pleasant experience. One of the absolute highlights is the view from the observation tower, which is beautiful. Climbing to the top rewards you with panoramic vistas of the preserve, the surrounding waterways, and even the distant skyline. It's a breathtaking sight that truly showcases the natural splendor of the area. Whether you're seeking a peaceful walk with your canine companion, a vigorous workout amidst stunning scenery, or simply a quiet moment to connect with nature, Robinson Preserve delivers. It's a meticulously cared-for natural haven that offers something for everyone. Highly recommended!

This place has a little something for everyone! The main trails are well maintained, but some of the side paths can be a bit less so. Regardless, the environment and variety of activities are second to none in the area. Just be warned, if you stay past sunset you will be chased out of the park.
Cass H — Google review
Beautiful big park — great playground for kids of all ages (even adults!), awesome lookout tower, unique wildlife, a pretty long trail, and it’s not crowded even on a Saturday… perfect spot for a family adventure! Downsides… it’s a bit run down. Loose wires, rusty bolts, railings coming apart — clearly keeping this place in shape is not a priority... ...it’s sad how much trash people just leave lying around — empty cans, bottles, snack wrappers... like a weekend activists just rolled through the playground. Who does that? Dumping garbage where kids play… seriously, shame on them.
Kirill M — Google review
This place is one of my absolute favorites. It is so large and has a variety of landscapes. My favorite time to go is right before sunset to avoid the heat. There are restrooms and plenty of parking at the kayak drop off site. This is one of my favorite places to take people.
Amanda M — Google review
Born and raised in Tampa and lived in the area my whole life, and this was actually my first time visiting Robinson Preserve. I’ve been seeing it online for years and it truly lived up to the hype. The boardwalks are beautiful, the views are incredible, and the tower is such a highlight. It has a lot of stairs, but once you get to the top you can see Tampa Bay and even the Sunshine Skyway. Totally worth it. There are so many trails where you can hike or bike, and a ton of calm inlet saltwater waterways where you can fish, kayak, and paddleboard. If it’s your first time paddleboarding, this is honestly the perfect place because the waters are very calm, the turns are easy, and it’s fairly shallow. You’re also surrounded by mangroves everywhere, which makes it feel peaceful and protected. The trails wind through the mangroves and open up to beautiful vistas of the water at every turn. Highly recommend this place and definitely worth the trip. I can’t believe it took me this long to go.
Aaron A — Google review
Great find! Boardwalk wasn't open, but still had plenty of trails to explore. The scenery was breathtaking, didn't see much wildlife but it was really hot. Hopefully next time!

Not from the area and needed some peace after my grandpa passed and this place was perfect. Lots of trails, Beautiful views and places to sit and take it in for a bit. Saw a manatee going over a bridge and tons of fish and birds. Would have been a great spot to kayak if I had had the time. This place was exactly what I needed after a stressful week.

Museums
The Village of the Arts is a lively and diverse community located in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. This unique neighborhood spans 36 acres and is home to over 100 beautifully restored cottages from the 1920s and 1930s, where artists both live and work. The vibrant atmosphere is enhanced by the colorful cottages, art galleries, studios, workshops, restaurants, and cafes that can be found throughout the village.
Enjoying a Friday night stroll through the Village of the Arts prompted a couple of thoughts: 1) What a wonderful, fun, vibrant neighborhood and 2) Why doesn't every town have something like this? And then: What if you could pluck this neighborhood up and drop it in--_______________ (fill in the blank with YOUR hometown). Would it survive? Would it thrive? Would you be a vital part of it? What would it take to bring this many creative people to one neighborhood? Thank you Bradenton for making this happen. And shame on the Desantis adminstration for ordering the recent destruction of the sidewalk and street art. Erasing art does not make us more free. It reveals fear of free expression, Constitutionally protected speech, AND local control. Long live VOTA!

We always love finding artsy and quirky neighborhoods. This was really cool but we went too late to partake in the shops.
Kathleen A — Google review
The Village of the Arts was a nice afternoon drive through all the local artists. Due to COVID-19 many stores were closed but the ones that survived were still open. The amazing artists and their products were worth the drive, especially being able to personally talk with each one. We drove through the area looking for open stores that were there and came across many that were still open and very friendly. They had an enormous amount of various items at reasonable prices. It was a good feeling to support area artists. They were all friendly and more than willing to discuss their products.
Nanette C — Google review
Such an eclectic place! We came on a day when everything was closed because we were in the area, but it was still amazing to see all of the art. I'm sure it would have been even better to go into the shops and talk to the people, as well. I honestly don't know why this doesn't have more great reviews. It's such a cool gem in a small city. If you are specifically coming for the shops, just make sure you come on the right day at the right time. I think most of them are open Thursday through Saturday from 11 to 4. Covid might also affect these hours. Either way, it is definitely worth a visit here just to see the houses and the art.
Daren M — Google review
Check the website to see which galleries are open before you visit!!! Extremely unique arts district. Gallery owners live inside or next to their galleries, many of them have been there for decades and have so much great knowledge of art and the local area. I really enjoyed chatting with gallery proprietors while browsing the art. Looking forward to going back for their Skeleton Celebration (Day of the Dead) when all galleries will be open.

Interesting painted houses and art installations along several blocks. Can drive by to look or easy walk. Many of the houses have open galleries. Some houses in the area are private.
Tyler D — Google review
Bradenton's Village of the Arts is a unique concoction of art galleries, studios, restaurants, and shops, and more centered in a live-work community. Over the past 20 years, pre-war bungalows have become a rainbow of lime green and electric yellow, an architectural vibrance that puts artists front and center. The Village of the Arts is not only a great place to visit but an enchanting place to reside. we met with (sorry I forgot her name), and she was so friendly, she guided us and told us how this community started and how they are going strong since the beginning. She even invited us into her home to see the painting and I was like why? She said" It’s a mix of both (Home and gallery). it’s a 1 BHK apartment, directions are there, you enter, you see the painting, and art collection in the hall, room, and common area (except kitchen & Bathroom) if you liked anything, the number is there -so cool concept. if you are visiting the Sarasota area and want to explore some out-of-the-track things, you wanna come here. Few stops you wanna check out- Frank Peter Antiques Art Junkies Birdrock Taco Shack Motorworks Brewing Forest to Finish Designs 11th Street Gallery Jerk Dog Records Parking: Street-side parking.

We made a quick stop, while passing through... Ended up wondering around for over an hour. Wish we could have stayed longer. Such a unique little neighborhood, with so much to see. We only went inside one gallery but we will be back when we have more time. The front yards, filled with local artists creations were amazing!

Manatee Village Historical Park in Bradenton, Florida is a fascinating national historic site that offers a glimpse into the town's rich history. The park features restored historical buildings such as a barn, general store, church, blacksmith's shop, and more. Visitors can explore exhibits and interactive displays that showcase the evolution of Bradenton and its maritime heritage.
Super cool find while out exploring Bradenton. Lots of history and friendly staff greeting you at the door. They have a free exhibit upstairs and you can walk in and out of the buildings. Watch out for the chickens!

Lovely, small historic park with the oldest still standing courthouse in Florida from 1860. One can visit a well preserved house from 1912, a church from 1887, a store, and an old schoolhouse with signs that provide explanation on the history of each building. Upstairs are a few exhibitions. The park has picnic tables as well as clean restrooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Free entrance, but donations gladly accepted. Recommended!

Manatee Village Historical Park is a thoughtful and beautifully preserved window into early Florida life. Walking these grounds feels like stepping through a quiet chapter of local history, simple and beautiful old Florida wooden structures, pioneer craftsmanship, boatmaking tools, and the old courthouse that once shaped civic decisions. It’s peaceful, educational, and grounded in the story of place. Slow travel isn’t only for distant countries. Knowing your history, honoring the presence of place, and connecting with the roots beneath your feet is part of remembering who we are. Step inside the church and schoolhouse and notice the wooden floors worn smooth by generations, the pews and desks shaped by hands long gone. You can feel the everyday rhythm of ancestors here — their labor, devotion, struggle, and resilience — still humming gently in the Florida light. Manatee Village Historical Park is perfect for families, school groups, photographers, historians, and anyone exploring like a tourist in their own backyard. Entry is free, ( small donation is nice), signage is excellent, and the staff keep everything beautifully maintained. Life continues. Stories remain. Know your history. ~Jana Shakti Travels Located off 7th Ave E & 15th St E in downtown Bradenton

It's free and educational. We went with our 3 year old and she had fun. There was a treasure hunt to find little cutout chickens around the property- that kept it fun to all of us and a little bonus gift at the end -brought even more joy. + there are actual live chickens walking around 🐔 with permission we took pictures with one

The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature in Bradenton, Florida is a unique destination that combines a planetarium, aquarium, and history museum all under one roof. The museum is dedicated to showcasing the rich history of Florida's Gulf Coast through engaging permanent and temporary exhibits. Visitors can explore fossils from Florida's earliest marine and mammal inhabitants, as well as archaeological materials from various prehistoric cultures.
⭐️ Wonderful Day at the Bishop Museum! ⭐️ We absolutely loved our visit to the Bishop Museum! It truly offers something for everyone, making it a fantastic experience for all ages. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated. The exhibits on prehistoric animals were a highlight, offering an exciting and informative journey back in time. The attention to detail in the displays really brings the ancient world to life. A major standout was the great planetarium movie. It was both educational and visually stunning—a must-see for anyone interested in space and astronomy. It provided a perfect break from walking the main halls. The museum’s dedication to local wildlife was evident in the excellent manatee exhibit. It was heartwarming to see the manatees and learn about their conservation. This exhibit beautifully connects the museum to the surrounding environment. Finally, the "trip through the ages" historical exhibits were incredibly well done, providing a rich, chronological understanding of the region's history. It was a fascinating way to connect with the past and appreciate how much has changed over time. Overall, the Bishop Museum is an engaging and enriching destination. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and educational day out!

This Natural History Museum is focused on Florida and is especially great for kids (and even has a dedicated play area for younger ones). You can spend around 2-3 hours here or more if you plan to see multiple planetarium shows. The Planetarium is great with a variety of programs and videos scheduled throughout the day. It is great that the shows are included in the price of an admission ticket. On top of fossils and human artifacts, there is also a live Manatee aquarium with a couple rescue manatees that they release back into the wild when ready. They do offer student discounts. Street parking is limited but there is a large parking structure across the street.

First laser light show here since the 80's. We went to see Pink Floyd the wall 🧱. I was having a phone issue and didn't get to buy the ticket ahead of time and they were nice enough to get me in anyway. We all enjoyed the show for sure. I thought the did a great job, I could only ask for a couple more songs to be included. I definitely will be back with a variety of different friends for the variety of different musical selections they offer. I recommend this experience for all and I am thankful we have this museum, planetarium and laser shows available.

Went here on a Saturday. Caught a planetarium show narrated by tom hanks. Spent prob 30 mins or so walking around and seeing the exhibits. Def a fun time. Seeing the manatees was really cool. Bought tickets right at the door. Free parking garage is super close.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding on May 4th, 2025! The entire experience was incredible from start to finish. Danielle was wonderful to work with, and the entire team went above and beyond to make our day truly special. While we were a little disappointed that the manatees had been released before our wedding and we didn’t get photos with them, we were thrilled knowing they went home happy and healthy. An unforgettable place to start our new chapter together!

The establishment boasts a spacious interior and a riverside deck, providing picturesque views of the Bradenton Riverwalk. Visitors can also enjoy happy hour specials daily from 3 to 7 p.m., featuring great deals on drinks and small plates.
Every year we come here for an Amazing Easter Brunch Buffet. The food is always excellent as is the service and the views!! The past 2 years we have had the same waitress, Tamara, she is fabulous… very nice and attentive in a highly professional manner! As for the buffet, my one and only suggestion…. Since you always have prime rib as the carving station…you should have mashed potato’s to go along with it… that’s just my two cents!

Such beautiful 🤩 views from the patio of the Bay Area. We also got lucky and arrived during happy hour. They make a great old fashioned 🥃, very stiff the way I like my old fashioned. I ended up ordering two especially with the happy hour special of $8/🥃. The balsamic chips make for a delicious 😋 appetizer and I recommend you order two for the table. The cod fish & chips make for a delicious main course. Our server Talan was a very gracious server and took care of us. I’ll be back for sure.

I had a great experience dining at Pier 22 tonight. My server Brittany was fantastic. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly and helpful! Came here for the beautiful sunset views — and they did not disappoint! The setting was stunning, even though it got a bit windy once the sun went down. The service was great -- complimentary valet was a nice touch, too. The food was okay - great portions. My entree (Artichoke Crab pasta) wasn't my favorite but the seasonal sangria was delicious!

This is one of the best restaurants in the area! Whether you sit inside or outside, the vibe is always amazing. But the patio is one of my favorite places to catch a sunset. Bar & grill
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of downtown Sarasota, O'bricks Irish Pub & Martini Bar is a vibrant destination that seamlessly blends the charm of an Irish pub with the sophistication of a martini bar. This trendy spot offers a diverse menu featuring both traditional Irish fare and modern American classics, making it an ideal choice for any occasion. Guests can indulge in expertly grilled wings tossed in delightful sauces like honey ginger or lemon pepper, perfectly complemented by a refreshing pint of Guinness.
Lovely place for happy hour or dinner. It's upscale yet casual and relaxed. Happy hour was great 1/2 off well drinks and $9 martinis. They are known for a variety of unique martinis, I ordered a pear type of martini (I forget the name), but it was excellent. Great menu and reasonably priced for the upscale atmosphere. I ended up going with the shepherd's pie for dinner. It was excellent. The service was phenomenal as we had a large party, and our server was super attentive, I never had an empty drink. He was able to keep everything organized when we all did separate checks. Overall, it was a great experience. Will return.

O'bricks is one of the best restaurants in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. I was able to get familiar with it last year when I was in town for multiple months at a nearby hotel. We would go to O'bricks at least twice a week. Food: The food at O'bricks including the menu as a whole is very purposeful. A lot of flavor combinations that seem pretty apparent a professional chef and/or longtime restauranteur is behind this concept. Usually, when I think of Irish Pub I think of a small bar that serves Shepards Pie and Guinness. This is not that at all. Throughout the times I have eaten at O'bricks I have tried their soups, Caesar salad, burger, Cuban sandwich (it is not pressed), Mike Carter's Wings that are marinated in pickle brine and served as an entire wing (which is very different but overall excellent), as well as their chicken sandwich with stuffed banana pepper, gelato, peach cobbler, etc. The food here is awesome and I have never once had a bad meal or been there on an off night. They don't have those here. Regarding Service and Atmosphere: O'bricks has an excellent wait staff that is very attentive and highly impressive. They memorize who ordered what. They give you different silverware for different dishes. They walk by and clean your table as needed. Basically, all of the things that make for an exceptional wait staff, it is quite obvious they train for that here. Overall, if you're looking for great tasting unique food, excellent service and very reasonable prices, O'bricks is an obvious winner. I've found eating there to be comfortable and enjoyable and whenever I am in town, I schedule a visit.

The most overrated restaurant in Bradenton. Food is average at best. Menu is limited, preparation is basic, piquancy is lacking. The drinks are not bad, but the prices leave a refined individual wanting. Location is great but no matter how much they dress it up it’s still downtown bradenton, and at least the hip hop crowd that previously frequented the area had some pizazz…

Great date night location! My salad was freaking AMAZING!!! I'd also take the kids there if they were with us. We will for sure go back! Quick walk across the street to watch some football, or for more drinks. Highly recommend!!!

My daughter loves this place so we came to dinner here and the experience was nice! Very friendly service and attentive. Almost all (or several) of the servers attend to you in some form. The food was good, my daughter loves the Lobster MacNcheese (although she sub'd for chicken this time LOL), the chicken sandwich was AWESOME, so crisp and juicy! Fresh bread, cold beer and....wait for it.....CREME BRULEE!! We sat outside so nice ambience on Main Street. Can't speak to the pub part since we didn't go inside.
Pierre S — Google review
Upon arriving, it was pretty clear. This is not a typical Irish pub. The atmosphere and decor do not inspire Irish pub at all. Upon looking at the menu, there are only 2 meals of Irish origin. Fish and chips and Shepherd's pie. You could get Jameson and Guinness. Everything else on the menu has nothing to do with Ireland. Food was fine, but nothing we ordered was amazing. Two out of our group of six did not like their meals. Overall, we were disappointed as a group. We finished our meal with creme brulee. We all agreed that it was excellent!

The key lime martini is heavenly. What a perfect dessert, I mean cocktail. The crab stuffed mushroom on a bed of lobster bisque... just stop it. This was unbelievable. Plenty of crab with every bite. Unbelievable meal and drink. I will definitely be going back.

Seafood restaurant
Beach House Waterfront Restaurant is a popular beachfront establishment known for its seafood and island-inspired dishes, as well as its deck seating. The restaurant prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients and offers a full bar with an excellent outside bar that provides ocean views. Renovated in 2017, the restaurant aims to be environmentally conscious while providing a welcoming and comfortable dining experience. It has become a favorite spot for both locals and visitors, offering casual waterfront dining at its best.
Stopped in at Beach House on Anna Maria Island and had a great experience! The drinks were excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made for a really enjoyable evening. We liked that you can sit either inside or outside, depending on the vibe you’re going for. Even with the August crowds, we had no problem getting dinner around 6, which was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely go back again!

The Beach House has come back better than ever after Milton. There are no visible scars left from the hurricane. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there recently and it was perfect. We had a front row view of the beach and Gulf and the sunset, ate with our toes in the sand and had a great server, Cam, who was very good with menu suggestions. We started with a couple nice drinks. I had the Paloma and my husband had an Old Fashion. We split a bowl of clam chowder which was very good. My husband had the Lobster Ravioli and I had the Mahi special which was coated with a coconut crust similar to coconut shrimp. Mine was very good but my husband’s Ravioli won the taste contest. Wow! We even got a full-size free dessert. My husband picked the Key Lime Pie and it was delicious. As I said earlier, it was perfect. The Beach House remains as one of our favorite beach-front restaurants to go to.

Stopped in on a Wednesday for an early dinner with a friend after sitting on the beach for a few hours. It may have been around 4:00 ish so the dinner crowd hadn't arrived yet. We sat out on the back patio in the sand overlooking the beach. The sun and water views were amazing! It took quite a bit of time for our waitress to come greet us which I thought was odd because the restaurant wasnt that busy. Once she did, the service was fine. I ordered the Farm Salad with grilled salmon and it was spectacular! It was so tasty and it was the biggest piece of salmon I think I have ever gotten out. It was cooked perfectly. My friend had the Grouper Tacos and said that they were excellent as well. I would highly recommend the Beach House! Prices are on the high side, but then again you are paying for the location and water views while dining. Definitely worth it!

The views, drinks, food and vibes were all on point. If you are looking for a lunch that hits all of these this is it! Will absolutely come back and the fish and chips was delicious. Service was great and so were our cocktails. Amazing ocean front outdoor dining.

We had an awesome dinner at Beach House on Longboat Key! I got the coconut mahi mahi—hands down one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had. My wife went with the grouper tacos and loved every bite. The old fashioned was perfect too. Great food, great service, and a killer sunset view. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a nice dinner with friends. Our server was one of the nicest (and good) that we have experienced in quite awhile. The stuffed grouper was my wife’s best meal so far this trip.

The food was absolutely amazing! The view is fabulous as well and the service was on point! I 100% recommend the coconut shrimp and the coconut crusted mahi mahi, both were great with the pina colada sauce. The mahi mahi was such a large helping we could have shared it!

I would give this 10 Stars if I could! Everyone at our table said their meal was some of the best they've ever had. We have the shrimp platter, crab cakes, fish and chips, and chicken Florentine and they were superb. Even the kids chicken fingers were tender and grape flavor. Plus you can't beat the view! We will absolutely be back again

Seafood restaurant
Anna Maria Oyster Bar on the Pier is a casual and family-friendly seafood restaurant located at the historic Bridge Street Pier in Bradenton Beach. It's part of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar chain, with other locations across Manatee County. The restaurant offers a lively atmosphere and serves award-winning seafood dishes for both lunch and dinner.
We had a great experience here! Views from the pier were already incredible especially at sunset and they seated us even though we were a bigger party closer to close which was appreciated. The food was delicious no one had any complaints! Our server Courtney was also really great!! Would 100% return.

The restaurant is at the end of a pier so you see water in every direction you look. Food was great, service was amazing! The place is very popular so expect it to be relatively busy but it was not loud. Parking is very limited and watch out for public parking lots! On a Sat night the fee is $15.00 per hour. It is worth it to drive around and walk a little bit to find free parking!!

Found this on Trip Advisor and then Google. Both had a lower score than I'd give. Beautiful Friday afternoon outside and great service from Sam. Even though we only ordered fried food, it was all delicious. The fried oysters were yummy with a nice batter coating. The fish in the Fish and Chips dish were not battered (my preference), but very tasty and abundant. Fries were good as well. $7 for a Coors Light aluminum. Loved the condiment container with attached lid--good for waterfront dining. Atmosphere outside is what brought us here but we were both pleasantly surprised with everything.

Normally when I eat out, I don’t finish my meal or I’m not totally satisfied—but this time, everything was divine! My uncle was cracking his usual jokes, and I appreciated how kind and unfazed our waitress was. I even asked everyone at the table to rate their meal from 1–10, and everyone said between a high 8 and a 10! The service was excellent—thank you so much, Jonah, for serving us. We’re so glad we had you!

Tonya was a great waitress. The deck off that pier is cool and makes for a great atmosphere. The boom boom shrimp was great. The shrimp, clams, fried fish and scallops were great. The fries are just ok. Hush puppies are great with honey and butter. Would def come back!

First impression was the menu has a wide variety of seafood dishes. The option to mix and match the selection of a dozen oysters was a very appealing feature. We ordered the tequila lime oysters, the grandmas, spinach Parmesan, and the chimichurri oysters. All…came…out…cold. We also ordered the peel and eat shrimp and the PEI mussels. Shrimp wasn’t deveined and very much over cooked/steamed and unseasoned. Mussels were overly steamed/cooked separately from the white wine sauce advertised being sautéed in with the mussels but appears to have just been poured over the mussels. Pictures show no sauce at all in mussels. Shrimp was reimbursed but we covered the tab for the mussels and oysters. My wife and I dine out quite a bit and we never do reviews but we also haven’t been this disappointed. Our Server could have been more assertive as well.

Food was good, service was great. We had the PEI mussels to start. Deelish! I had the fish tacos. My husband had the Tuna poke bowl. Sides for me was supposed to be squash/zucchini & coleslaw. I was served undercooked green beans mixed with overcooked green beans. Lol. It was fine. Atmosphere was great, right on the water. All in all, good for the price. Take the trolley, the parking is terrible! Luke was our server, very friendly and professional. Thank you!

Great atmosphere. Great local eats. Disappointed a few things on the menu were not available but the conch bites were great as was the blackened grouper sandwich and Brussel sprouts.

Restaurant
Riverhouse Waterfront Restaurant is an upscale-casual seafood dining spot situated at the end of a wooden pier in Regatta Pointe Marina, offering stunning views of the Manatee River and Palmettos Riverside Park. The restaurant features three distinct areas: the Reef & Grill on the first floor, the waterfront patio bar called the Snook Deck, and The Second Floor, which offers a more upscale dining experience with live piano music and specialty cocktails.
My recent visit to Riverhouse Waterfront Restaurant was an absolute delight, perfectly encapsulating everything one could hope for in a waterfront dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the beautiful waterfront vibe was palpable. Situated seemingly out in the middle of the water, the restaurant offers unparalleled views of the marina, with a constant, soothing parade of boats gliding by. It’s truly a picturesque setting that immediately transports you to a state of relaxation. As for the food, it was nothing short of delicious. Each dish was expertly prepared and full of flavor, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Complementing the excellent cuisine was the wonderful staff, who were attentive, friendly, and genuinely contributed to the evening's enjoyable atmosphere. Dining at dusk was a particularly magical experience, as the sunset painted the sky with breathtaking colors, creating an unforgettable backdrop for our meal. The combination of the stunning views, fantastic food, and top-notch service makes Riverhouse Waterfront Restaurant a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable and enchanting dining experience. We can't wait to return!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Riverhouse Waterfront Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the beautiful view of the river set the perfect atmosphere for a special evening. Our waitress, Sam, made the evening even more enjoyable with her warm and attentive service. She was friendly, professional, and ensured everything flowed seamlessly. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish was delicious and exceeded expectations. The service was just as amazing as the food, making it a truly memorable celebration. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend my birthday. Highly recommend Riverhouse Waterfront for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a stunning view!

This place was okay nothing great. The food was a bit overpriced but the food was very tasty. The service was a bit slow and food came a little bit too long but the wait staff was kind and checked in on our table plenty of times. The atmosphere is nice and has a waterside view and looks into a river with boats all around it. Nice view too and time was perfect to see the sun.

I recently hosted an event here with 110 guests and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The location is absolutely stunning with an amazing view of the water, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable 20 year class reunion celebration. The space was just right for our group—open, comfortable, and beautifully set up. The food and drink service was top-notch. Every dish came out hot and fresh, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was. The drinks were equally impressive—well made and consistently served with a smile. The staff was incredibly attentive and professional throughout the entire event, making sure everything ran smoothly. I’m so glad we chose this venue—it truly exceeded expectations. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-run event space!

We had another wonderful dinner at the River House last night. Service by John was superb. The food was extremely good and very large portions. I had jambalaya that was done of the best I've ever had. I couldn't eat it all! We split calamari for a starter which came out perfect. After dinner we split a slice of peanut butter pie. Even that was delicious, although we weren't able to finish that either. We sat outside because it was such a beautiful evening are were treated by another spectacular sunset! My after dinner coffee may not have been decaf! I certainly wouldn't hold that against them if it was. I feel they have raised their standards and we look forward to going back.

It was fine, I cannot recommend for a delicious meal but it was convenient and the staff was very nice. Went here twice, months apart, and sadly was disappointed both times. 1st time, spinach dip was runny, shrimp app was tough and breading fell off, Grouper was salty, Lobster pot pie had little lobster in it and the crust was only on the top, the lobster roll was good, had large chunks of lobster. 2nd time, calamari was okay, had an odd cheese pairing, Brussels were oversauced and undercooked, brushchetta was disproportionate, the bread was very small, toppings barely fit on top and there was a lot of wasted salad let behind. Fish and chips were good, lobster mac and cheese was fine, on the watery side but fine, Petite filet was awful, very Petite, dry and tough with little side veges. Atmosphere was great, on the water with nice views especially at sunset. The staff was great, friendly, attentive, they even fixed our wobbly table.

Beautiful place with amazing bay view! I was visiting Bradenton for the first time and of course that I wanted to explore the food scene and while looking for recommendations, I found out about Riverhouse. The place is beautiful. We parked in a designated area for the restaurants in the area and then we walked to the entrance of the pier where a nice gentleman took us in a small car to the entrance of the restaurant. The weather was hot so, we the car was helpful. On our way out we walked because the water was better and it is a romantic scene to walk with your partner across the pier. The staff at Riverhouse is superb. Everyone so welcoming with a Midwest vibe. We didn't have a reservation but the place was not packed and we landed a table outside with the possibility to watch the sunset. The view is amazing and totally worth it. About the food, we were hungry and we over ordered. Here is my summary: Lobster Pot Pie (3/5) - Nice presentation on this plate. I liked the flavor of the pastry dough, the top crust was perfect and the stew inside of the pie tasted amazing. But, you can barely see the lobster. Pistachio Crusted Halibut (3/5) - Again, great presentation and the vegetables around the halibut were superb. But, the halibut was overcooked with a chewy texture. Truffalo Wings (4/5) - Great wings, not so spicy and with a hint of truffle. They were a bit dry. My overall review is 4 stars. I think the view of the place is worth it and probably is more a social setting to have a few drinks and appetizers. The main dishes could improve.

We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated quickly and our server was kind and attentive. We were pretty happy with each thing we ordered. Only gripe is that the oysters were ordered had very muddy shells that made eating them not so fun.
