Natural history museum
Museums
The Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks & Minerals is a natural history museum that showcases an impressive assortment of geodes, crystals, fossils, petrified wood and gemstones. The museum is housed in a charming mid-century building and offers a super kid-friendly environment where children can touch and climb on most things unless otherwise indicated by signs. Admission includes a rock from the rock pile, and there are walking paths on the grounds which offer opportunities to spot wildlife such as elk.
Small, but very complete and well done museum. If you have any interest in rocks and minerals at all, it’s a great place to visit. The house itself is an architectural gem. The house was the dream house the Rice’s They built the house around their hobby. Prairie style with hint of Frank Lloyd Wright and California ranch Well, worth a visit.

Unassuming from the outside, incredible on the inside. Interactive displays with opportunities touch and lift all kinda of rocks and minerals. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly. Kid friendly environment. I had no idea what to expect and was truly impressed.

We visited Rice museum today with kids. We didn't have high expectations having known it's a small and local museum. The entrance fees was reasonable. Once we entered the museum and witnessed the extensive and exquisite collections of rocks, gems, fossils, and minerals, we were fully engaged and entertained. Very nicely organized exhibits with right amount of information. They had small activity rooms to engage little kids. Outside, they have play areas filled with rock and fossil digs that kids will definitely love. The gift shop is also filled with unique gifts for all price ranges. Recommended.
Ram J — Google review
I had an extraordinary experience there. Even for the people who don't collect rocks, they are amazed by the beautiful exhibitions. The local road to the museum is clearly marked. We arrived at a weekend and the parking lot was half full. The collection was amazing, and more important to the regular audience, beautiful. Even if you are not a rock collector, you will be blown away by the details and color of all the fossil, petrified wood, agate and other minerals. I spent hours just admiring their beauty. The staff at the gift shop is very knowledgeable. He has deep knowledge of all the rocks and very friendly. I had great conversations with him during my purchase. I also noticed he helps local rock hounder to identify their collections. BTW, the gift shop worth your time. Not only the price is very good, but also the rocks are authentic. You know those rocks and gems in the gift shop is real, not lab made or fake plastic ones on eBay or Etsy. Before you leave, make sure you drop by the self pick rock pool to find yourself a nice souvenir. I found myself a nice piece of petrified wood.

Excellent displays of rocks, minerals, and fossils. Super informative and astounding exhibitions. Wheelchair friendly, totally worthwhile. Passed this place so many times, so glad we stopped for a visit. Beautiful grounds include a wonderful picnic area with tables and bbq grills. Highly recommend!!
C M — Google review
We had an interesting time viewing one of the best rock, mineral, and petrified wood museums. It took us about 2 hours to take in all the specimens. Interesting videos on how the rocks were found and removed from the ground. Plus we picked out a free sample from an large pile of unique rocks.
Lary A — Google review
Had no idea what to expect but this was a fantastic collection. Friendly staff and ton of exhibits. Lots of gift options at good prices. We saw stuff didn’t know could exist. Must stop if in the area! It’s down a road to nowhere but don’t give up it’s a short drive.

One of the best hidden gems in Oregon. They have an amazing collection of gems, precious and semiprecious stones, fossils, and many other things. Excellent for kids and family. They do have gem cutting program and many activities planned for kids as well as adults. Very knowledgeable employees and excellent customer service.

Nature preserve
Park
Wildlife refuge
Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve is a haven for nature enthusiasts, offering an array of wildlife and educational programs. The preserve is home to various bird species, including the majestic Bald Eagle and the elusive Giant Horned Owl. Visitors can also spot deer, elk, and beavers while exploring the trails. Families with children can enjoy the Education Center to learn more about the diverse animal inhabitants. The Nature Center provides a picturesque venue for events, boasting stunning views of wildlife from its spacious deck.
Small parking lot Outside Pit Toilet Satellite mobile toilets in Park Nice wooded trails Lots of ponds with ducks, egrets, heron Lots of wide open exposure areas Sometimes you see deer North Parking lot small / North entrance Spring and summer are very nice Nature center is super check hours Nature center super clean inside Great place to run, walk, birding etc East side of Park the quietest Lots of planes overhead on weekends Water station inside N.C when open. This is possibly my favorite park in the Portland Metro Area especially for the camera I have that is ideal for open exposed areas such as this fabulous park. - Even if you are not into photography and can get a hold of some binoculars you may have a better opportunity to see more wildlife than us photographers. - It is a great place to get out and walk some nice long loops and practice for those National Park Hikes next year. It is typically quiet with the occasional Cessna flying overhead or it can be loud during the Hillsboro Airshow in May outside of that it is super. There are places to sit down, under some shade, read a good book, feel the fresh breeze on your face, sip on your bev and enjoy the sound of nature. There are some places to just zone out and defuse from the complexities of life. - I have been to all the other Parks in the Portland Metro area and this one is the best, for me. CHEHALEM RIDGE NATURE PARK is super cool too but far too many runners and cyclists out there that spook the wildlife. Jackson Bottom will have hardly any runners and no cyclists or dogs allowed either with is super. - This is a great place to reconnect with family and spend some quality time in nature without distractions. - If you see unusual activity and the Nature Center is closed, like on Sunday, you can call Hillsboro Animal Control if a untethered dog is on the loose or HIllsboro Code Enforcement... - Please support this park and lets keep her clean and opporational for decades to come.

Well maintained trails withclear signage, ample parking and zero garbage that I saw. The nearest trail (Upland trail) was fully ADA accessible. If only using a cane I would say the entire place is doable, or with an off-road chair. There's a souvenir shop and visitor's center though I didn't check them out this trip. One restroom (one toilet) in a corner of the lot and no garbages along trails so plan for those and enjoy!

Is stunning vista that provide a quick escape from the city. Walk with nature as you encounter a variety of wetland dwelling creature, plants and trees on a peaceful walk.

Absolutely beautiful reservation. We had a wonderful walk and saw many different wildlife. Informative park center with interactive content. There was a sculptor on one of the trails working on a carving into a dead tree. Love the awareness to the environment, the land history of the Native peoples before us, and the sanctuary provided for the animals and plants. There were lots of maps throughout the trails as well as seating. Will definitely be coming back!
Kaylyn C — Google review
This is a hidden gem for the outdoor enthusiast. Came here during the week and saw all kinds of wildlife, including egrets, great blue heron, nutria, ducks, yellow finch, honey bees, and bumble bees. There is a fun nature center with an authentic bald eagle's nest. The bathrooms are clean. Trails are easy, with no steep inclines, some gravel, and some dirt. There are plenty of overlook sites for viewing birds in the wetlands. Also, it is easy to take short walks or longer ones because the trails loop.

Great place to go on a walk and see nature. Well maintained trails and places to sit and enjoy the birds singing.

Nature & Parks
Rood Bridge Park, located in Hillsboro, Oregon, spans 59 to 61 acres and is a popular destination for both locals and visitors. The park offers a variety of recreational activities amidst its wooded areas and wetlands along the Tualatin River. Visitors can enjoy walking along soft-surface pathways, picnicking at shaded areas with tables and benches, or playing on the large lawns.
A beautiful and large park. It’s where Rock Creek meets the Tualatin River. Lots of trails both paved and unpaved, tennis court, restrooms, playground, picnic shelter and BBQs, a garden with a wading stream and, a launch ramp for kayaks at the Tualatin River. NOTE: Some trails may be flooded during winter months.
Mack P — Google review
What a great place for some tree time, solitude, and low-impact hiking. We just happened to find this one while searching Google for something new to do with the dog over the Labor Day weekend, and boy are we glad found it. Lots of good, low-effort walking trails, with tree cover, and plenty of distance, if you want it. There's also a boat dock where you can launch small boats and a specific launch spot for kayaks (less chance of novices tipping over while getting into the kayak). The dog really loved it too. So many smells! Most amazing was the fact that all the other dogs we encountered during our walk, big and small, were very well behaved (just like ours). No crazy "dog incidents" during this trip. No barking. Nada. Rood Bridge Park is now one of our favorites.
Bobby D — Google review
One of the best parks in Hillsboro area with a lot of green fields and path walks with nature. Picnic areas are mostly booked on weekend by usually freed up towards end of the day. Great playground for kids.
Artem M — Google review
This is a beautiful park and today I saw a male and female deers on my walk (please videos and pictures). I was told by a regular walker of the park that she has not seen a deer in 5 years. The park has some amazing views of trees and lakes along the trails. However, if you do not want to walk the trails you can overlook the views just by standing or driving next to the many benches. The park also offers tennis courts and for the last three days on my visit people are enjoying paddle ball on the tennis courts. If you have children the play ground is large enough for at least 20-30 kids can play together. I love the cabanas over the picnic table areas and one of the cabanas has a huge fireplace. There is so much room if you wanted to just bring a blanket and picnic basket to enjoy the beautiful landscaping.

I love parks and there is plenty to see here. Nice and quiet, peaceful. Walked around the park and it was very well maintained. They have picnic areas a playground. Good place to bring kids.

Great place for a walk. Has an accessible boat launch. Large grill area. I think one can reserve the large shaded areas for events. Well maintained green spaces and ponds with interesting flowers. Nice trail for a walk. Pet friendly. Has play structure for kids.
Dhananjay R — Google review
Great park! My family loves letting the kids play on the playground, biking and walking trails, throwing a ball, and letting our dog run around. We’ve spent so many birthday parties there as well.
Nick M — Google review
This is a very nice park with paved and unpaved walkways. It is by the Tualitin River, we'll maintained, and has tennis courts, a big play area for kids and covered picnic areas. They seem to have ample parking, but that can disappear fast if it's a nice day or weekend. They also have a lot of rhododendron trees/bushes which are very beautiful when in full bloom.

Cultural center
Shopping
The Walters Cultural Arts Center, located in downtown Hillsboro, is housed in a historic red stone building that was originally a Lutheran church built in 1949. This multi-use venue offers a 200-seat event space for live performances including dance, music, and theater. In addition to hosting art-centric shows, the center also features art studios where visitors can take classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, and performing arts.
A lovely space with pleasant folks working there. We saw a great concert, and were able to charge our EV while we enjoyed the music. I hope they continue to host music. Acoustic groups would be perfect.

Walter's Cultural Arts Center is a lovely place for many events. It offers ample space for wedding receptions and performances, art classes, and displays of artwork. Parking is available on site. The staff is friendly. I recommend checking it out.
Tony H — Google review
We had our daughter’s wedding here, and we have zero regrets. Everything about the facility was superb! We had 170 guests - I wouldn’t recommend having many more if you want to dance at the reception. The kitchen for catering just off the foyer worked wonderfully. The outdoor space on the patios was great to have for guests to mingle. The staff were very helpful throughout the night as well. Five out of five stars!
Brandon W — Google review
We were looking at lots of different places for our wedding; all we were totally sure of was that we wanted to get married on the Westside. Within a few minutes of our walkthrough of the Walters, we were totally sold. The venue was affordable, the location is super-accessible, the staff were great to work with, and the theater space was absolutely beautiful. We had people coming up to us all night with compliments and questions about how we found such a great place to be married. We loved having our wedding here and look forward to attending many more events at the Walters!
Mark M — Google review
Very intimate venue in an old converted church. Parking is adequate though you may need to go around the block. Capacity is about 200 to 250. Not a bad seat in the house. Clean, light and airy. Good place to view an event.

Theater Camp - The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The play was great and it appeared as if everyone in the auditorium was happy, including the audience. The staff members were outgoing and interacted with the audience and students/play members expertly.

Saw wonderful performance by a Brazilian singer here.
Helen H — Google review
As I was here for a wedding, I did not have much of a chance to explore the rest of the facility beyond the main lobby and performance hall, but I was thoroughly impressed with the architecture, location and atmosphere of the building. It makes a fabulous wedding venue, and I could certainly see the main hall being utilized for performances and other events.

Nature & Parks
Orenco Woods Nature Park, located in the Orenco neighborhood, spans 42 acres and offers a variety of amenities such as walking paths, picnic tables, and a playground. The park was formerly a golf course and is now home to Rock Creek, a nature-themed play area, picnic shelter, bridges, restrooms, and the historic Malcolm McDonald House. It's an ideal spot for families with children as it features woven sculptures and wooden logs for kids to explore.
This park has been my local morning walk for the past several years now since it is only .5 miles away from where I live. - What does it offer? . 4 Clean and well maintained bathrooms that are open from April 1st to end of October. - A small clean Parking lot North side. A play area for children with some outdoor instruments to play with along with picnic tables. A climbing apparatus for the adventurous types, mostly kids. - A sandbox with some stone frogs etc - Some swings close the the playground. - An old historic house that has a nice history write up. - 2 Metal outdoor structures with roofs and picnic tables underneath. Great for events or solo use. - Several dirt trails that allow runners, walkers, strollers to see some foliage, get some fresh air, listen to the birds in the trees. - There is 1 small meadow and 2 larger ones where you might get lucky to see some deer, in the city, that is pretty cool. - Rock Creek meanders from the North and snakes itself through the Park so you might get lucky and see a heron, some diving ducks (in the winter). There are Nutria and Muskrats that live in the marshy area and Creek. - There are a pair of Barred Owls that live in this park and every now and then you will hear them in the early hours of the morning or early evening. - There are an abundance of Woodpeckers here especially Northern Flicker and Red Breasted Sapsuckers along with the popular Downy. In the Spring, around early March the Red Breasted Sapsuckers can be seen from the northern suspension Bridge foraging for bug larvea in the dead trees. - Spring time or just before March 21st is the time to see a lot of bird activity with all the birds building nests, laying eggs and later feeding those hungry little beaks. - Every now and then you may see Red Tailed Hawks, Cooper Hawks in the woods and the occasional Falcon or American Kestrel. - Although the Park is around 50 acres in size it yields some awesome opportunities to come out on a good day and write in your journal, read a good book, do some yoga, feel the sun on your face etc. - At the time of the Review the leaves are gold, red and amber so get out and capture before they are all gone till next season. - There are 2 Suspension Bridges across Rock Creek and Hillsboro Parks and Rec did a fabulous job putting them up. They also so a super job with the upkeep of this park. - This park is communal and shared by all so lets keep it looking great for many decades into the future.

Park is had a small little parking lot that fit about 15 cars and it's free. The restroom there are clean. The playground is small and looks save for toddlers in my eyes. The park hiking trail is small a hardcore hiker wouldn't appreciate it. The park has a lot of wheelchair accessible.

Nice park adjacent to Orenco Elementary School (also with nice grounds). The paved trails (shortish loop) is good for little kids and dogs. Also the old mansion is interesting (fenced off. Looking forward to its restoration). The gravel trails are closed to bikes and dogs ( unfortunately-but I get it).

Orenco Woods Nature Park was a wonderful experience. There are so many trails to walk on, very easy to navigate. There's a playground for children. There are a couple of restrooms, kept very nice and clean. It is dog-friendly. There are some spots where dogs and bikes are not allowed. There is so much wildlife and beautiful plants to see in nature. Very good for jogging, walking, etc. Definitely recommend checking it out.

This park has everything! Kids playground with sand, swings, water pump. Great open grassy areas for relaxing or picnicking or even playing with your dog (on a leash). Covered patio areas which can be rented from the city for large gatherings. Accessible bathrooms (except winter, then it’s a portable only) and great amenities. Fantastic jogging & walking trails as well as adequate parking inside and outside the park Best enjoyed in the spring and summer although when the sun peeks out during winter, it can be a good place to let the kids run wild.

Lebanese restaurant
Salam Restaurant is a laid-back establishment that offers Lebanese cuisine, featuring filled pitas, kebabs, and Middle Eastern pizzas. A friend was recently invited to dine there and tried the beef and lamb kabab, while another companion ordered the lamb shank. The food received high praise for its exceptional quality. The owner, who also happens to be the chef, displayed genuine care in serving their table with attentiveness and kindness.
My favorite Lebanese restaurant in beaverton. Whenever I'm near I always pick up some food to go. The hummus is fantastic and the gyros are great. Good flavors on the meat. Sorry about the picture as I was merely documenting the size of the gyro, not posing for posting on social media

Fresh bread was excellent reminds of being back home. Baba ghanouj was great. Cheese pizza is plain no marinara sauce at all. The grillwd kebob 5 starts out of ten. The services is great and the owner is kind gentleman. Only thing I’m not satisfied with was the chicken shawarma was big chunks of chicken when shawarma supposed to be shredded big pieces of lettuce!
Ali A — Google review
Extremely disappointed with our experience today. This was our second visit to this place, and unfortunately, it confirmed that we won’t be coming back again. We gave it another try hoping things had improved, but it was a mistake. The food was below average completely lacking flavor, poorly cooked lamb kabob , and definitely not fresh. Presentation was careless, and the taste didn’t justify the price at all. For a place that claims to offer good food, this was far from acceptable. What made things worse was the overall service and attitude of the staff. I was here with my family, including young children, and instead of feeling welcomed, we felt uncomfortable and even embarrassed. To our surprise, they insisted on charging gratuity even for kids under 2 years old. That’s not just unreasonable, it’s disrespectful. We’ve dined at many restaurants with our family and have never encountered such a practice. It clearly shows that they’re more focused on squeezing money out of customers rather than creating a good experience. The environment wasn’t family-friendly at all, the staff didn’t care to check if we were satisfied, and we had to wait longer than expected for cold food that didn’t live up to even the most basic standards. We had come with high hopes and good intentions, but left disappointed and upset. This place seriously needs to re-evaluate their food quality, customer service, and billing policies. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone especially not families with young children. Very bad experience overall. We will not be returning, and I hope management takes feedback like this seriously.
MD S — Google review
Nice place. Clean atmosphere and good service. Food was great and flavorful and came on time. It did lack spice and I didn't see any hot sauce or chilli oil. Fresh bread is always nice to have. I wish they gave more of that green thing with the bread. A large peice of fresh pita and only a teaspoon of the green topping
Mohammad A — Google review
Attentive service from owner and coworker. They were helpful with suggestions and very nice to the toddler who was pestering them with questions. We absolutely love the food and drinks. They bring fresh pita bread to the table and you can order dips to go with it. They do have a kid menu but my kid ended up loving their rice. We've been here a few times and will be back.
Jaennae K — Google review
The food that we got was quite dry and the seasoning was low. Did not meet the expectations. The inside of the restaurant was ok and it took only 15 minutes to get the food. Anyway not recommended.
Supun A — Google review
What a really nice find. Authentic dishes, beautifully prepared. The lamb shawarma was so tender. Not shaved meat, but tender pieces. The tabouleh salad was fresh and tangy just as it should be. The freshly baked bread straight from the open fired oven was a wonder in itself. Like a soft puffed up pillow. Service was fast, efficient, and with a smile🙂 I’ll definitely be back.
Billy M — Google review
My husband and I just had a fantastic meal at Salam! The gigantic fresh oven baked pita was to die for! We also ordered hummus which was so creamy, delicious falafels and fantastic veggie skewers with rice. Everything was flavorful and delicious. I do not understand what is the deal with negative reviews posted. Must be written by people who do not recognize great food and a clean and friendly restaurant. We will definitely return!

Amelia's Exquisite Mexican Dining is a vibrant gem nestled at the corner of Main Street and Southeast Fourth Avenue, captivating diners since 2015 with its Mayan-inspired dishes. The restaurant boasts a lively atmosphere, adorned with bright orange and red walls that create an inviting space for guests. Upon entering, patrons are greeted with fresh homemade chips and salsa, setting the tone for a delightful culinary experience. Renowned for its traditional Mexican fare, Amelia's offers generous portions that leave diners satisfied.
this food is the best thing I’ve ever eaten since I’ve moved to Oregon. I was leaving my daughter’s doctor appointment right across the street and I saw this place and decided to check it out because I’m from the East Coast and I haven’t found a good Mexican restaurant since I’ve been here. The woman who took my order was so kind and patient and recommended the pazole. I got the pork pazole & the birria with a side of rice. they do not skimp on the food. The portions are just right. I will definitely be returning with my whole family.

They are only open till 9pm on Saturday nights. We went in at 830pm and no one was there. Margaritas were more virgin than I prefer and had a weird tartness. I ordered a quesadilla but got cheese enchiladas. We ordered a brisket burrito and it was open faced. The salsa was tomato sauce. We both suffered bad stomach aches following our visit.

During our visit to see family in the neighborhood, we stumbled upon this restaurant. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the staff can speak limited English but are friendly. The food was quite satisfactory, especially the chicken soup, and I was impressed to see fellow diners eat a two-pound burrito. However, I think it's important for them to list the price of the large margarita on the menu, as we were surprised by the additional cost at the end of the meal. One nice aspect of the restaurant is that even when dining with a group, everyone can pay separately. Overall, it's an excellent spot for lunch.

Pub
ABV Public House is a charming tavern with a cozy, rustic ambiance that offers an extensive array of local and distant craft beers. The diverse menu offers an assortment of delectable dishes, while the bar proudly features approximately 20 to 30 draft beers on tap exclusively sourced from nearby breweries. Patrons can even inquire about the remaining keg quantity to ensure a fresh pour. The attentive staff may lack extensive knowledge about the local area but compensates with their kindness and politeness.
ABV is a must go for anyone working in the Hillsboro Area. If you are visiting a friend out in Hillsboro I recommend coming here for lunch or dinner. The food is a very well priced for the large portions they give. I had a seasonal Irish Blarney sandwich. It was very tasty and filling. The server was also very attentive and responsive. If you are a beer lover then this place is essential if you live or work in the area. You can enjoy lots of beers on tap if you eat in. But if you are on your way out to enjoy your weekend they have a superb bottle shop with lots of options of great and diverse beers. Come in for the great selection of beers to go.

This is a really good place to eat and have a beer. The hamburgers are very good. The beer choices are awesome. The service is good and friendly. What is awesome about this place? Is they have an indoor ax throwing cages in the restaurant. The only negative I’ve experienced here is the big change in french fries some of them are very good. Others are not good huge potatoes I couldn’t even call them french fries. But I highly recommend having lunch here and grabbing a pint.

The folks working here are great! Enjoyed the banter with back and front of house. They'll make you chuckle. Beer selection is nuts! So many options. Even the NA beer was on point. They do pub food right. The jalapeño poppers were tasty. Get in here if you like beer, good food, and down to earth staff.

A friend and I met here because it was exactly halfway between each of our locations - I had never been before. Was pleasantly surprised! Friendly wait staff, an incredible tap list, and I had a Korean style kimchi sloppy Joe that was truly amazing. I’d say it was a hidden jump, but by the crowd on a Sunday night, I could tell it has a loyal clientele.

Great place to get some beer. Rotating tap and plenty of cans to choose from. They do have cidar options for those that do not want beer. Their food is solid and have good service. They recently added 3 lanes for are throwing. They do take reservations for the axe throwing and if the lanes are open they will take walk ins too.

Went on a Tuesday night with friends for their live jazz and had a great time! Drinks and food were delicious and the music created a wonderful atmosphere!

What a wonderful place to gather with other community members and visitors to enjoy live music and delicious food. I was sad on Wednesday evening to see that the band had moved inside and heard it was due to noise complaints. The live music especially on Wednesday night is what brings me to Hillsboro. I hope the city can find a way to balance the needs and wishes of the community. It’s diversity is what makes it such a special place.

Can’t believe it took me so many years of living next door to try this spot out. Fun spot to sit and enjoy live music while in the downtown Hillsboro neighborhood. One of my new top favorites for Pizza in the Portland area. Perfect crust that is flavorful, crisp yet moist. Can’t wait to return soon to try more flavors and specials!

Had the hot mama pizza and the spicy meat pizza. Also had the artichoke and chips. Literally everything was on point. Everything tasted fresh, came out hot, decent portions. Really just a great overall experience. Our server, she was awesome! Super accommodating and nice. We will be back!

The pizza was delicious & perfectly sized for 2 people. The service was fine, but the server wasn’t very warm & welcoming. We lucked out & they had live music which was very good. I would recommend this place for a delicious wood-fired pizza.

Bakery
Decadent Creations is a bakery known for its wedding and custom cakes, as well as a variety of classic pies, tarts, and pastries. The menu features locally sourced ingredients, with coffee from Water Avenue and tea from Smith. The homemade syrups are particularly noteworthy. Visitors can also enjoy the Blue Oxe Axe Throwing nearby before indulging in Decadent Creations' delectable treats.
Absolutely amazing experience. My fiance and I ended up procrastinating a bit too much on cake decisions, and we managed to go from no idea to a taste testing box to a decision and pick up ready to go within two weeks. Totally worth it, and we knew it would be because we've been longtime customers- since it was just Mindy at the local markets! The taste testing box was huge, reasonably and obviously priced on their menus, and the slices were generous enough for three foodies to split for thorough taste testing. We decided on two different cakes, ordered in person and drew out the concepts for the cookie decorations on top, and they were ready to pick up the morning before our wedding when we needed to leave town. The cakes were stunning, delicious, and a huge hit. Visually, they are just beautiful. The photographers and the guests agreed! Plus, knowing that we can go in and order our wedding cake any time we want is kind of wonderful. :) (photos by Hereafter Photography)

I discovered an exceptional coffee and bakery establishment. The staff were remarkably welcoming and friendly, including the bakers and kitchen staff. Their warm greetings significantly enhanced our experience. We purchased several pastries to enjoy later. The Decadent Bar is highly recommended; it is truly irresistible.

Our go-to Hillsboro bakery for their Smokey Robinson cookie, chewy donuts (made with potato starch?), and last but not least, their biscuits sandwich! (Showcased in a Chopt episode) Plenty of cute indoor and outdoor seating available. Wifi available too. Don't forget to try their sister location Collective Market that's right next door. Pastries we’ve enjoyed since 2019: Chocolate potato donut (unique!) Horchata donut Tiger donut Robinson crusoe salted chocolate chip cookie 🍪 Black sesame yuzu scone Egg free options include biscuits, chocolate potato donut, butterscotch toffee cookie, scones

This place is an absolute gem, close by Intel and all those companies that have frequent out of town guests. The BAM! sandwich has a great mix of flavours, highly recommend it if you enjoy crunchy yet soft breads!

I like to buy the cake tasting box for my birthday instead of committing to one cake flavor. It's so much fun to try all the different flavors. I've done this a few times and it's always been fantastic, except for this year. All but 2 cakes were extremely dry and were likely days old. We threw away all but 2 slices.. yes they were that bad. I'm not asking for a refund or replacement box. I just hope the owner sees this and makes a quality control change. I imagine most people purchase a cake tasting box to decide what cake flavor they would like to order for an event. Not just for fun like I did. I definitely would not have chose this bakery based on this tasting box. My husbund and I also bought tickets for a donut making class earlier this year that was canceled 20 minutes before the class was to start. (We are still awaiting the refund for this) I didnt see any contact us option the website.

Such a cute little bakery and coffee shop in downtown Hillsboro. Lots of sweet and savory options. Got a cowgirl toast and it was very yummy. So many places to sit inside or on the porch. Staff is nice and helpful. Will definitely be back for more treats from here.

I've been here many times and already knew how awesome the food and treats are, but today I have to add a new favorite. My partner and I had just been married a few hours earlier & the wedding party went here for a sweet treat. When the staff inquired about the group they learned of our wedding. With a smile on his handsome face, he (Andrew) congratulated us & said, "treats are on the house". With all the negativity in the world right now, this act of kindness & compassion was just a burst of light, positive energy, & a reminder that LOVE & COMPASSION still exist. Andrew, THANK YOU, for an amazing wedding gift. Bless you

I got the bread pudding at the Beaverton farmers market and it was really good. Came back to get it again and this time it was dry and burnt. It is a huge disappointment when the food is not consistent. Unfortunately this time I got the bread pudding it was a total waste of money.
