Nestled in the heart of Glendale, the Westgate Entertainment District, formerly known as the Westgate City Center, is a sprawling shopping complex that offers a wide array of national retailers and charming scenery. It's more renowned for its diverse dining options, bars, and entertainment events held throughout the year. The district hosts various activities such as bike nights, hot rod nights, live music on weekends, and fireworks festivals for Independence Day.
This place is absolutely wonderful and fun. Lots of things to do, and if you want to just sit somewhere and relax, you can also do that by the fountain. Water play area for kids as well.

Lots of great places to eat and walk around. Love the ambience and people watching while eating dinner in the common areas.

Westgate is beautiful. It’s hit or miss if the fountains are working but when they’re on, it’s absolutely beautiful at night. They have some really good bars there. Drinks can be pretty pricey throughout the district, but the atmosphere makes up for it. There’s not a lot of restaurants in there, but the ones that are there are pretty good.
Cheryl Z — Google review
Great restaurants and atmosphere. Parking was plentyfull but can be difficult getting out after events at State Farm Stadium.
Jon M — Google review
Nice place that is foodie galore. A huge handful of the restaurants were Mexican, but they also have Japanese and other flavors there too. There's something for everyone. They have a second floor area too with more fun things to do like a comedy club and places to eat. They have stairs, or accessible elevators or escalators you can take up and down. They also have a steakhouse, theater, and even a gaming arcade. Plenty of parking too. There's also a scenic water fountain.
A Z — Google review
A large entertainment center includes shopping mall and restaurants. It was hard to to find a parking spot

Wow Wow Wow! West gate Is Such A Great Place To Experience! The People Are All Friendly, The Atmosphere Is Electric and The Food Is Amazing! There’s So Much Entertainment To Enjoy Whether Solo or With Your Family. Have Fun, Be Safe and Be Blessed
Jonathan T — Google review
Great place to come and chill and relax. Plenty of food places to try out. Our you can just come to watch a movie in imax. Try to avoid it if there is a football game going on (well unless you are going to attend the game of course) because they charge for parking and it's just a big mess for miles in every direction.

Sahuaro Ranch Park, located just north of downtown, is a 17-acre property established in 1886 by William Henry Barlett. The park offers daily tours of the main house on select days and provides insights into Arizona ranch life from the late 1800s to the 1930s. Visitors can explore historic ranch buildings and enjoy various amenities such as playgrounds, volleyball courts, a dog park, soccer fields, and a rose garden.
Love this park for walking with peacocks and sunsets 🌅 🦚 very peaceful. Just don’t eat around them. They get really close lol. But together then that. This park is so pretty and I didn’t know about it. Til my friend and I wanted to eat some breakfast at a park.
Rosa A — Google review
It's a very clean park, the city takes great care. Litter free with a multitude of trash cans and not cluttered with dog feces. The sidewalks are wide and have a great path to walk the perimeter of the grounds. Very well lit and has 2 bathrooms. There is a playground, sand volleyball and plenty of areas to grill.

Great place to visit in the heart off Glendale! Pack a picnic, take some pictures and stop in the library. Get out if the house and see something different for free! Especially as the weather cools down.
Michael S — Google review
Large park, historical buildings and farm implements. Abundance of wild peacocks, many large palm trees. Great for spending a morning or afternoon strolling.
David C — Google review
My favorite park since I was a kid! The park area is wonderful, there’s ramadas to rent and also tables that are uncovered to use as well throughout. The playground is beautiful and updated for bigger kids. Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses and Che out the historic homes. I believe they still offer tours. The peacocks are my favorite part!
Amanda — Google review
Lovely grounds with history. Nice areas to walk, picnic, and kids to play. My grandkids love to watch the peacocks.
Elizabeth S — Google review
With the weather so nice rn stumbling upon this farm was the best morning ever. My furbaby and I had a beautiful walk and the people there enjoying the atmosphere were friendly as well.
Juanita O — Google review
Never knew you could be entertained so much while sitting in the library watching peacocks play and live!. It was a great opportunity to stare out the window watch people practice guitar and strangely have peacocks walk past them like they were old friends. If you need to study or concentrate but like to take frequent breaks with entertaining visuals this is the place to be.

Thunderbird Conservation Park, spanning 1,185 acres in the Hedgpeth Hills, is a dedicated sanctuary preserving the natural beauty of Arizona's desert environment. Acquired by Glendale in 1951 and improved under Maricopa County's stewardship from 1963 to 1984, it offers hiking, equestrian and mountain biking trails, bird watching opportunities, and picnic spots.
Beautiful trails and natural wildlife 360 degrees around you. This trail is much easier compared to camelback but longer depending on how many segments you do. Trails are clean and maintained. Beautiful neighborhoods surround the hillsides. I would highly recommend.
S J — Google review
Has it really been six years since my last hike here? Time flies. We took advantage of the lower temps this week before it heats up. I attempted the Arrowhead trail yet again but it only confirmed this is a killer on my knees. I made it about a mile before deciding to opt for another trail. I hiked down and crossed the steer and started at the Cholla Loop. From the intersection with the light it wraps the mountain and connects near the bridge that crosses over the road. Yes still rocky and lots on incline and switchbacks, but felt more doable to me. Length on Cholla is about a mile longer than Arrowhead if you complete the entire trail. Great views and the workout was awesome as well.
Janelle — Google review
Beautiful place for special moments! I took my child there for their Homecoming pictures as well as graduation pictures. If your looking for a southern scene with a nice sunset/sunrise this place has plenty. I recommend early morning or afternoon for the best sky.

Great little urban patch of wilderness with some hiking trails, cookout spots, and bathrooms. Nice people, trails well maintained. Hot, bring lots of water. Loose rock as well so I'd recommend close towed shoes

Beautiful area with scenic hiking trails from short to longer options, easy to moderate levels. No restrooms by the W Pinnacle Peak Rd parking lont. There is a restroom at 59th ave entrance/parking lot. Make sure you're back to your car not too much later after the sunset, otherwise may get a ticket.

Festival
Glendale Glitters is a spectacular holiday lights display that illuminates Historic Downtown Glendale with over 1.5 million twinkling lights for about two months. The festival offers various special events, including the family-oriented Enchanted Evening and the Balloon Glow and Block Party. Visitors can enjoy festive activities, rides, crafts, entertainment, and even meet Santa.
I love coming here because it’s always such a fun and magical experience. The lights are beautiful and really bring out the Christmas spirit every year. It’s free to enjoy and makes a great outing for family or even a date.
Cassandra B — Google review
Me and my family came here on Christmas evening and it was very busy. There were vendors selling food, toys, and trinkets. But, everything that they were selling was overpriced. This place has changed a lot over the years. There was construction going on so the city didn’t put up all of the lights this year and some of the Christmas lights and decorations were not working properly. There were no police or law enforcement officers in the crowds or at Glendale glitters while me and my family were there. I don’t understand why? This place was very busy and other people were not respectful towards others. Glendale Glitters is overrated!
Me — Google review
Its a really cool experience to go to, especially because it's free and it runs for awhile and you can vist anytime, not just on opening week. I have seen people become more rude over the years when we are walking around, but thats just how society is turning out 🙈 . I enjoy that you can walk several blocks away from the crowds and there's lights everywhere even on other streets ❤️😎 each year they have different colorful lighted statues but most of the same trees are lighted up . It runs for several weeks , so pick any evening that you're available and enjoy it by yourself or with your family 😎❤️
Misty — Google review
I enjoyed the lights just bring some lunch or snacks they do not have anymore lunch trucks but is still fun for children

First time ever going. What a great event. The balloons are amazing, and the lights as well. The shops and restaurants are all open. The food vendors had a great selection. Having graduated from Glendale High many years ago it is great to see such a great event.
James K — Google review
A wonderful display of lights throughout town, with shops, vendors and food trucks. They also had carnival rides for kids and a beer and wine vendor for adults. There were tons of shops and restaurants with an additional festive fair. I had a wonderful time and the food was great, I'd definitely recommend visiting if you live in the area or visiting during operation. A great time for all.
Jenn P — Google review
Fantastic event with a cityscape lighting ceremony and tons of great high quality food and textile vendors. Every year the size of this event grows and grows. Lots of rides and bouncy houses for kids, I could go on. Be sure to mark you calendars, this is not to be missed. Weekend of Thanksgiving. Enjoy!
Aquiles F — Google review
This was my first year visiting Glendale Glitters and it was awesome! So many beautiful lights, my favorites were the really tall palm trees. I have seen pics and heard that other years were a lot more festive than this year (thank you covid) but I still thoroughly enjoyed it! I am going to make this a yearly tradition and can't wait to see what 2021 brings! Happy holidays! 🎄 🎅 🍾 * SPECIAL THANKS and appreciation to the city, workers and others who are still putting their lives in danger so we all can have a somewhat normal life in this Pandemic ❤😷

Historic Downtown Glendale is a charming blend of rich history and vibrant community life, making it a must-visit destination for those who appreciate both culture and shopping. The area boasts century-old bungalows and buildings that now serve as quaint antique shops, earning Glendale the title of Arizona's Antiques Capital. Visitors can explore delightful boutiques like The Cottage Garden Shops and Pink House Boutique for vintage apparel or hunt for unique collectibles at Treasures and Spinning Wheel Antiques.
Wow, definitely much better and funner than I thought it would be. Plan to spend about 1.5 hours here (just walking around, more if you want to walk inside the stores) I'd recommend coming early on a weekend morning- so you can avoid the traffic and there's open 2-hour street (diagonal) parking spots along Lamar Rd (including accessible spots and ramps). They also have many other parking options including open street lots and a parking garage- all spots are under a 5 minute walk to the historic downtown area. Sandwiched between W. Glenn and W. Glendale streets are the main attractions- there's the small Murphy Park with a library, and if you continue down- there's an assortment of cafes, shops, and more for a few blocks. You can also see signs along the way that detail the history of some of those buildings. Next, sandwiched between W. Palmaire and W. Myrtle Ave- there are the historical homes (some of which now house small museums or tea cafes). The lawns are so pristine and the houses so quaintly cute, you definitely feel as you are walking back in time in an upscale neighborhood.

Hadn't been there in about 12 years and was disappointed to find many of the antique shops gone replaced with pizza parlors, cheap junk shops or just boarded up. Not the charming place it used to be, doubt I will bother returning in the future.

My favorite new place is the blue corn in downtown Glendale. Glendale has the best shops and very easy to walk around. Love it

I absolutely LOVE downtown Glendale! Such a small town vibe in a huge city! Great holiday events! Awesome unique shops and restaurants. Great place to make some wonderful memories. (An a Pokémon Go players dream! )
Robin S — Google review
Stores are open and so are restaurants. You have to wear a mask. Not a lot of traffic so you can socially distance but enough so it doesnt feel like a ghost town. Typical beautiful small town main street. Antiques, uniques, and boutiques to keep you busy shopping for an entire day if you choose or go several times and never really hit all the stores. Theres also a park, a library, an amphitheater and City Hall. Great free parking. And furry friends were welcome in the stores I went to. On the south side of Glendale around 58th St. Not sure if others are but I went to 4 or 5 stores with Cleopetra and had no issues.

Glendale glitters is gone. The replacement lights are pretty. But it is scaled down so much. Was disappointing to me. But still worth visiting

There is free parking and library is adorable, quaint neighborhood where you can support local stores. Glendale looks like it USED to be a nice town but in reality it seems a bit run down. There are a couple food places that look nice to eat at, but not worth the trip unless you’re close by.

German restaurant
Haus Murphy's is a lively German restaurant and beer garden that offers a delightful selection of traditional German dishes, including bratwurst, schnitzel, sauerkraut, and spatzle. The restaurant boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere with charming German decor and the option to dine at long communal tables or in the outdoor biergarten adorned with twinkling lights and colorful flags.
Service was attentive and friendly - the place was busy and the waiter still took such good care of everyone The menu offers a variety of options Clean and homey/warm atmosphere My grandpa has German roots and we have family (my uncle is in Hamburg) in Germany. The food is pretty authentic! Everything was fresh and hot.

*cue the song Edelweiss from Sound of Music* From the accordion playing my favorite German song, to the amazing food - I felt like I was transported back to Germany. My husband got the special with the German sausage on a pretzel bun, jagerschnitzel, and a side of red cabbage. The homemade house mustard was delicious and a perfect addition to that scrumptious sausage. The schnitzel? Best I’ve ever had outside of a traditional German club. I ordered the sauerbraten. It came with red cabbage and spaetzle. The gravy and the sauerbraten - a Guy Fieri favorite - was without question worth our drive from north Phoenix. It tasted *almost* the same as my Omi’s. The spaetzle was quite dry and flavorless, but with all the gravy you couldn’t tell if you mixed the plate just right. To make a great German meal more perfect, the little man playing the accordion played some of my favorite German songs as I was nestled in a dining room that looked like a replica of the Black Forest. Our server, Tia, was the worse part of our meal. She was curt, bordering rude, when my husband asked a question because our menus were different. Scotty (the other server we wished we had) kept our waters full and our table attended to. Love this place, love the food - despite the server snafu we will definitely be back.

We came out to Haus Murphy's Octoberfest event. Our party of four had reservations inside the dining room, but the "Alley" was much more festive (at an additional charge). The food and service were excellent. We started with authentic Octoberfest and Dunkel beer in giant 32oz. steins. The shared pretzel came hot with spicy mustard and cheese sauce. Our German specialties for dinner included two Schnitzels and several Bratwurst. The side dishes were a wonderful addition to the meal; Applesauce, Fried Potatoes, warm Potato Salad, Spatzel noodles, Red Cabbage and loads of delicious Sauerkraut. Service was timed perfectly, just the right amount between courses because we wanted to socialize. Our server helped us with special requests and questions about the event menu. We added Apple Strudel, Chocolate Pie and German Chocolate Cake to finish the meal. And ended the night with Apfel Schnapps and dancing in the "Alley." A memorable evening. Thank you Haus Murphy's.

7/5/25: Short version - quaint restaurant, gorgeous decor, excellent food, fantastic service. Totally worth a revisit. Long version - this particular Saturday we opted for a late lunch/dearly dinner. Craving German food, my sister selected Haus. I had been there years earlier (before I started Yelping) & enjoyed it immensely so off we went. Service: far exceeded our expectations. Our server, Scottie, was wonderful. He was friendly, bantered with us the entire time, kept checking in to see how things were, if we needed anything. He was knowledgeable about the menu & we often sought his advice, going with his recommendations. Appetizers: 10 oz pretzel & stuffed mushrooms. The pretzel was gi-normous. Scottie offered to have more salt added to the pretzel (it was a bit bare). Now that's an eye for detail many people don't have. But it was salted enough for us, plus it was hot & the mustardy cheese that came with was perfect. The stuffed shrooms were so damn tasty. The plating was well done (almost too pretty to eat). I said almost. We dove right in. :-) They were chock full of meat (no skimping involved), the drizzles on the plate were mild & added some flair; and though I am not a fan of onions, I still enjoyed the dried/fried onions that came with the shrooms. Cocktails: Black Forest old fashioned, Schwimmbad. Smooth & sweet respectively. Decently priced. It was Shots Saturday, which meant 1/2 price shots (two shots for $8). First round was the Feiling (fig vodka) & Kirschwasser (tasted like 100 proof moonshine). We both agreed the Feiling was the best (slightly sweet, smooth like the bourbon), the Kirschwasser was too harsh for us. Our second round we enjoyed schnapps shots (say that fast five times): apfel & blackberry. Of those, the apfel was the best. The next Saturday we visit Haus, it will be rough trying to decide which shots to get, go with what we know or try something new. It's going to be a tough decision. Ha! Meals: Kassler brat combo (pork chop aka chunk of ham; choice of brat, I selected the big smokey; chose two gravy sides: paprika & rouladen; also a side of spätzle), plus the Eisbein (smoked pork shank). Both came with sauerkraut (duh) and the brat combo had whipped potatoes, the Eisbein came with German fried potatoes. DELICIOUS! All of it was DELICIOUS! Very large portions of everything, even the spätzle. Hell, I had delicious leftovers for lunch at work for the next three days, it was that much food ... of course we had to save room for dessert. Dessert: sauerkraut torte. We have Scottie to thank for this selection. Once again, he was spot on. We were a bit apprehensive about the sauerkraut, but he explained it was for moisture -- and yes, the torte was extremely moist (and no, it was not "sauer" but sweet). If you see my pic, the saltshaker was placed there to illustrate the size of the torte. Final answer? Haus Murphy's is a joy. Large menu, friendly & courteous staff willing to explain & offer recommendations, reasonably priced items, large portions. Will most definitely come back.

This restaurant is charming with beautiful decor, amazing food, and great service, definitely worth going back to. One Saturday we went for a late lunch that doubled as an early dinner. Since my sister was craving German food we chose Haus a spot I’d enjoyed years ago.

I’m always happy to eat here. The food is fresh and delicious, and the beer is cold and plentiful—exactly what you want. I noticed the Biergarten is gone for now, but maybe it’s just a summer thing. Either way, it’s always a great experience, and it brings back great memories from my trip to Germany. Thanks, Haus Murphy👍

Tea house
Step into a piece of history at The Spicery In Our 1895 Home, a charming restaurant nestled in one of Glendale's oldest buildings. Originally built in 1895, this Victorian house has been lovingly converted into a delightful lunchroom that exudes coziness and charm. Owned and operated by Matt Borowski, the restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring classic American lunch options and afternoon tea served in themed rooms.
This is the perfect place for a tea party! I loved every minute and every bite of this experience! We had the Royal Tea. The sandwiches were delicious. The queen Elizabeth tea was amazing. We had to get some to take home. The baked goods were amazing (except for the Shortbread. I usually love Shortbread, but I didn't care for this one.) The scones are so good with the lemon curd and Chantilly cream. The restaurant is in a historic home and it's just adorable. We enjoyed our experience so much, and we can't wait to take our granddaughters back for another real-life tea party! I highly recommend this tea room. I was very impressed!

What a beautiful day! My Mother-in-Law chose this perfect venue to hold my Baby Shower. The owner and support came in on their day off for this private event and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make this such a special time! The ambiance was perfect, the tea and food that they brought out was so delicious (they even made me a special decaffeinated tea!)! This was one of the best days I've ever had! Thank you!

We had the absolute pleasure of visiting a charming tea house called The Spicery in Our 1895 Home, nestled in the heart of Glendale, Arizona. It was a beautiful experience that I just had to share! 🫖💐 From the moment we stepped on the porch, there was comforting aromas of homemade goods 😋. The ambiance was elegant yet cozy, with antique touches. I enjoyed a beautifully presented afternoon tea service with delicate finger sandwiches, warm scones (yes, with clotted cream & jam!), and a selection of desserts, which we were too full to eat 😔. My tea of choice, the Caramel Almond Fruit—so warming, perfect for fall and winter but can be enjoyed now!!! If you ever find yourself in the Glendale area, I highly recommend giving The Spicery a visit. It’s more than just a tea house—it’s an experience filled with charm, tradition, and history!

The Spicery in Our 1895 Home – A Hidden Gem in Historic Glendale A sweet client introduced me to The Spicery Tea Room, and I’ve been in love with it ever since. Tucked away in the heart of historic downtown Glendale, this charming spot is full of character and warmth. The building itself tells a story, and the kind, welcoming staff make every visit feel like a special occasion. The food is delightful—simple, fresh, and comforting—and the atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends, enjoying a quiet afternoon, or just treating yourself to something special. Downtown Glendale adds to the magic. With its adorable shops and seasonal events, you can easily turn your visit into a mini adventure. I especially love the charm bracelet activity—each shop offers a little charm during events, and it’s such a fun and creative way to explore the area. If you’re looking for a cozy, nostalgic experience with great tea and heartfelt hospitality, The Spicery is an absolute must.

Such a lovely experience! I had the adult tea with the three-course option and added the salad, which was absolutely delicious—fresh greens topped with strawberries, candied nuts, and a light strawberry vinaigrette. All of the small bites and treats were beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. Highly recommend!

Had a delicious lunch with friends. Quiche Lorraine with a generous side of fresh fruit and homemade roll. The rolls are like your gramma made! Vietnamese restaurant
Little Saigon Restaurant is a cozy, family-owned eatery located in downtown Glendale's historic antique district. The restaurant offers a variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes, including crispy rice-flour crepes, combination plates with grilled shrimp and pork, and veggie-friendly options like sautéed spinach. The establishment prides itself on serving home-cooked Vietnamese food passed down through generations.
I’ve been here a few times now, and brought my fiancé with me to introduce her to little Saigon. She felt the same way I did, from the moment you walk in. It’s a nice, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The decor almost feels like we’re eating at their house. Both of our waiters were great and constantly checking up on us. For starters we had their delicious fried egg rolls and some tea. We had rice noodle with pork and grilled shrimp with fried rice for our mains and everything was so good. We couldn’t finish our plates because of the portions they give. It’s a lot of food! We will be back soon. Thank you for dinner and the pleasant experience 🙏🏼❤️

I’d been here years and years ago when I worked nearby and decided to head back over this weekend to see if it was still just as delicious. We arrived about 4pm and were pleased to be seated right away. The location is pretty small, but feels pretty open. Service is great and we didn’t have to ask for a thing our entire meal. We started with eggs rolls which I loved. They came with fresh veggies and such to wrap them with. We all were craving pho so we ordered two beef and shrimp and one with chicken. Everything came out pretty quick and the portions were huge. The broth was amazing and the fresh veggies added made it even better. We can’t wait to come again and try a few other dishes.

We can 8n for dinner.on a Sunday evening. We waited a few minutes to be seated. The waitress told us to go sit at table number 8 as she pointed to a table in another room. We looked a little confused because it was our first time in and am not familiar with the place. We went and found table number 8. After we ordered our food it came out promptly. We ordered an A1 egg rolls and P12 and P13 which is pho soup. The food was delicious. This was the best pho we have had in a while. The atmosphere wasnt that great due to a party of four who were on the you ger side and loud. There also isn't any ambience music to drown out other people talking. The servers did stop by and ask how the meal was going, that was nice. Once they brought the check they took a little too long to come pick up the card even thou I put my card out right away. Overall, the good is delicious and I recommend this place for pho.

Visited Little Saigon and had a mixed experience. We waited to be seated, and once we sat down there was another wait before anyone came by—looked like one very hard-working waitress trying to cover the whole restaurant, and I didn’t see many tables getting checked on. That said, when the food finally arrived it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully cooked—fragrant herbs, rich, balanced flavors, and dishes that tasted homemade and comforting. The kitchen is clearly doing excellent work.I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. I’m hoping they add another server during busy times, because the food deserves service that matches its quality. Overall: slower service due to understaffing, but fantastic, delicious food that made the experience worthwhile.

I love Vietnamese food! The beef and brisket Pho was the best I’ve had. We also had the pork egg rolls and they too were delicious. Next time I want to try the spring rolls and the (Bun) cold noodle and lettuce bowl with a protein. The big surprise was the price - very reasonable! I will be back and if the location was closer to me I would be there weekly ❤️

The menu offers a delightful blend of British, German, Polish, Hungarian, and other Eastern European favorites. The self-made chef Waldemar Okula infuses his dishes with love and creativity to create home-cooked meals that are simply outstanding.
This is a very quaint restaurant. A little cold for January even in Phoenix. Good thing I wore pants. The owners are very nice, in assuming the people working are the owners. Omg, the shredded pickled beets were yummy. I had the stuffed cabbage, mom had the goulash. My son stayed safe with a chicken sandwich, which was huge. I now want to go back and try the pickle soup, but it's not available every day.

My partner surprised me with a cooking class for Mother’s Day, and it was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — cozy, charming. The food was beyond delicious, authentic, and clearly made with love. What really stood out was the owner’s kindness and passion — they made everyone feel welcome and at home. This experience was the perfect blend of fun, flavor, and heart. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

This restaurant is such a special experience. I did not feel like we were in Arizona at all while dining here. The food and service was excellent and they had dog friendly seating outside, which I very much appreciated. 10/10 would recommend.

Me and my wife come here for the great food! We also come here to relax while we eat, which anymore, can be difficult to do these days. No blaring music, just peaceful, a cozy place. The couple who own and do all the cooking and serving are amazing! So very nice and personable. Back to the food. The soups here are the best soups I have ever had, and I’m 61! The sweet basil tomato with rice, just amazing! The dill sour pickle soup……you must get a sample taste to believe a soup with this funny name, could be so D.. good! I had a bowl, a big bowl at that, my last visit, of the Tomato, my favorite, and pared it with my favorite Chicken Salad sandwich on walnut, apricot bread, this too is my favorite ever, so, good, I have now had it at least 6 times in a row over the last two years. My wife this last time had the stuffed peppers, which she loved, with a cup of Borscht soup, she loved, and so did I. We will be back soon!

We shared the Polish sampler (3 potato cheese pierogi, smoked kielbasa, a cabbage roll, and a large scoop of hunter stew), limoncello cake and Makowiec (Poppy Seed Roll Cake) to go. Delicious. Came back later in the week and got sandwiches to go. They were big. We had them for two meals.

"La Piazza" is an Italian restaurant located in Phoenix, Arizona, known for its authentic cuisine and casual yet charming ambiance. Visitors are willing to make a drive from nearby areas just to dine at this spot. The staff is praised for being friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The menu features delicious dishes such as bolognese and the popular wood-fired pizza called the Italian Stallion. One reviewer particularly enjoyed the flavors of the pizza, likening it to a taste of Italy.
This place had the best pizza I've had in a long time! Its brick oven pizza so its hot and crispy in the best way possible. The staff is helpful fun and energetic which is a great thing to have. Dont skip this place if you're wanting some damn good pizza and service.

Visited here tonight with family in place of going to Pizzeria Bianco and it didn't disappoint! Their menu isn't huge but definitely quite a few options for pizza. Everything we had was great, and pretty sad they'll be closing in July.

I’ll have to say I’m VERY impressed. The pizza is delicious. Definitely my favorite in Arizona! The ambience is nice because it’s quiet and welcoming to a night out with family or friends. The waitress was nice. Definitely give La Piazza a try!!!

Love this place for the pizza and the staff. Pizza is top tier brick oven pizza. If you want a big floppy pie that stacks up to Domino's and Pizza Hut it's not for you. If you love a brick oven char with amazing sauce and toppings go here and leave happy. I saw a review complaining about the char!! Wth is that? Did you not know what a brick oven pizza looks like? Go to Domino's complainer. Besides the great food the staff is as friendly and inviting as they could possibly be. No brainer 5 stars all the way

From the fun "Pizza fit for a Queen" artwork on the way in, to the authentic Neapolitan domed oven and fun pics to look at (Guy Ramsey Fieri for one), you know you're going to be in for a unique experience. The server knew every detail for every pizza we were considering and was a pleasure to talk with--what fun that she was there when Guy Fieri visited and how he enjoyed sampling each dish as it left the kitchen. What a pizza! Perfect char and texture, and with a flavor of quality and freshness. You just can't get a pizza like this unless it's in one of the few certified VPN establishments proving they know the true Naples techniques. Dessert was a cannoli filled on the spot so no soggy tubes here, and this again in the real deal, not some pudding-like or gloppy slop trying to pass. Heard they will be closing after 18 years due to the rent increases which doom so many family businesses-- what a horror to this staple in the community. Visit before July 2025 and convince them to reopen somewhere. Please!

I love this place so much. It’s so cozy and welcoming plus the food is just amazing. I first came here with my tutor back in 2010 and I will never forget how amazing everything tasted, when I came back years later in 2018 it was just as I remembered and I’ve been coming ever since. This place has a special place in my heart because I was only a kid when I came here for the first time and now I bring my son here. Pizza 10/10 atmosphere 10/10, service 10/10. This is one of those hole in the wall places that you don’t know is there and once you do you realize how much you’ve been missing out! Highly recommend coming here and try the dolce diavolo it will not disappoint!

Amazing food and staff. Cozy location in the Glendale square. Sad to hear they will be closing shop in July. Definitely stop in if you can because this is real, affordable, quality Italian cuisine.
