History museum
The National Corvette Museum, situated in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is a captivating indoor museum that showcases the rich history of the Chevrolet Corvette. With over 70 different car models on display along with an array of memorabilia and more, it offers visitors an immersive experience into the evolution of this iconic American sports car. The museum underwent a significant expansion in 2009, adding 47,000 square feet to its space.
Took a guided tour and it was great! Learned lots of little secrets about some of the cars. Loved looking at all the cars especially the old ones. Nice tour, I recommend take it. It was only 1 hour and you have plenty of time to explore the museum. You get to see one of the cars that fell in the sink hole.
Roxie T — Google review
My bf is a car guy and loved it, I know nothing about cars and also loved it! We drove his corvette so he could drive on the race track. - I LOVED the sinkhole information. You can even look down into the sinkhole, and see a car all crumpled from the sinkhole. We visited mammoth cave national park on this trip, so learning about the cave region really brought it full circle. - well put together museum, it appeals to everyone. I loved the history and seeing the body changes of each generation. Fun to see the paint choices and how they choose interior/ exterior color schemes. I also enjoyed learning about the clay models and wind tunnel testing for aerodynamics. - we played on the racing simulators, fun and challenging! It’s like a vamped up arcade game with full size cars. - I was disappointed that the assembly plant was closed for tours. Still awesome museum visit though! - I collect patches and found patches in the gift shop.
Lauren C — Google review
We had a private group tour which far exceeded my expectations. Then we had dinner which rivaled a 5 star restaurant. Everything was so good. The simulators were exceptional, feeling like you were on a real track. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Cool gift shop and a restaurant. Cool stop very interesting. Keep up the great job. Maby knock the price down a bit but cool. Thanks a whole lot and hope to see yall agan.!!!@@@!!

Great place, displays are well done. Wish I would have taken a guided tour to learn more. Plenty of videos and plaques to read. Clean bathrooms and a nice Diner. There is a sampling of eight cars in the lobby you can see without paying before the cashier line. A Corvette library with records open weekdays only. Went through in about an hour and 45 minutes. Would spend longer watching videos in the future. I imagine the reason there aren't more variety of different vintages is that enthusiast are keeping and driving their Vettes. Gift shop has a great item, managed to escape with only a sticker. To the ladies, this place is husband/boyfriend safe. There are no Corvettes for sale or financing available.

Great experience picking up a new 2026 ZR1 Corvette at the Museum this week. Mack who oversees the PDI process probably spent an hour with us going over in detail the process his team goes through to get such special cars ready for delivery. Chris also took a lot of time with us the day prior to our appointment. Great folks everywhere at the Museum. Finally, Shane kept in constant contact with us for several weeks prior to delivery to ensure everything went off without a hitch.
David W — Google review
All enthusiasts should visit this place. The museum highlights many of the great Corvettes produced by GM . Classics like the 1963 split window coupe as well as videos of the production of the new C8. The museum has a gift shop with corvette centered merchandise. There is also a place to grab a snack…
Roger C — Google review
The Corvette museum was one of the coolest places I've been in my life. I saw some awesome cars from all generations of Corvettes, and I mean awesome in its purest sense--awe inspiring or inspiring great admiration. I met some great people. Some of them were there because they loved Corvettes. Some were there because they loved racing and recognized the Corvette's significance in that, but we were all there--together. All said, it reinforced, in my mind, the importance of teamwork, ingenuity, and the great American spirit to keep "creating rockets". It also reminded me of the incredibly great things Americans are capable of when they tirelessly and truly work together. The staff at the museum are second to none. As a Corvette owner, I've never felt more at home. I found that I was frequently reminding myself that while it was my first trip here, it was my Vette's second trip. If you like fast cars and/or Americana, the Corvette museum is must see.

Lost River Cave is a captivating limestone cave complex that offers subterranean boat tours, taking visitors on a journey through its mysterious underground watercourse. The cave is adorned with stalactites, stalagmites, and calcite draperies, creating a cosmic masterpiece sculpted over time. The 70-acre urban park also features wooded trails, rivers, blue holes, sinking streams, and a restored prairie.
First of all, and I cannot emphasize this enough, this is a non-profit cave! I was very worried that this was going to end up being one of those overhyped and under delivered commercial kind of caves because I've been to a lot of them. But that fear was completely unfounded! This cave is the opposite, it is completely under hyped! The entire tour is conducted from the boat. And I'm sure there's probably some variability based on your tour guide, our tour guide was Sophie and she was awesome, but regardless anyone would have a good time here. Where else are you going to get to go underground and float down a river in a boat! On top of that it was just naturally very beautiful. And I've been to a lot of caves but this was totally unique. I would definitely highly recommend everyone to visit.
John P — Google review
This was a great tour. Hopefully you will get tour guide Sophie, as she is phenomenal and so entertaining. There was a lot of history provided. The tour is short, too short, but we'll worth doing at least once. Id suggest planning when the butterfly exhibit is open. There is also a beautiful trail to get in a little exercise.
Greg T — Google review
We had a great time at Lost River Cave and definitely give it 5 stars! The price was very reasonable — just $24.99 for an adult ticket — and well worth it for the experience. The tour starts with a 15–20 minute walk to the cave entrance, guided by someone who shared interesting local history and fun facts along the way. Then we boarded a boat and went into the cave itself, which was such a cool and unique experience! The guide continued sharing stories and history during the ride, making it both fun and educational. After the cave tour, we explored the trails, visited the butterfly garden, and saw three of the natural blue holes on the property — all beautiful and peaceful spots. We ended our visit at the gift shop, which had a great selection and surprisingly reasonable prices. This was such a fun and different stop — perfect for all ages. Highly recommend if you’re in the Bowling Green area! Thankfully, we had purchased our tickets in advance. There was a man at the counter asking for same day, walk-up tickets and they were out, so I do highly recommend purchasing your tickets before arriving and arriving at least 30 minutes before so that you can check in and walk down to the area for the tour to begin.
Randi P — Google review
The Lost River Cave tour was a fun and interesting stop on our trip. It’s definitely geared toward tourists, and while we enjoyed it, it’s more of a one-time experience—I likely wouldn’t return if we visited the area again. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and shared great insights about the cave’s history and unique features. The surrounding nature area was also enjoyable to explore, and we especially loved the children’s nature scape—it was a hit! Overall, it’s a fun stop if you're nearby, but not necessarily a must-see attraction in the area.
Emily J — Google review
Great trail and great scenery. I loved the cave and the river flowing through the cave, such a beauty to capture. We we got there, the river was flooded therefore we couldn't do boating. Regardless, I enjoyed, natural trails, butterfly habitat and other landscape. Our guide did good job in explaining throughout the trip.
David S — Google review
Our guide OLIVIA was knowledgeable, fun and made the experience the best memory of our trip (so far). Make sure to sit on a bench on the trail and take in the sights and smells. The gift shop was worth a visit. L HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

What a beautiful space! How awesome to get to go and look at God's creation and see how caves are formed.. learning history about the cave and the generosity of the man who stepped up to help clean up. It was quiet amazing not to mention our tour guide Trevor was amazing and funny ♥️♥️♥️ its totally worth everything to come here! And you will be helping a nonprofit ♥️♥️♥️
Linz G — Google review
Fun trip and an easy boat ride. My wife gets motion sick really easy and she did great on the tour. The boat is really stable and the trip down and back up the river was enjoyable. It's really interesting to go into a cave that is influenced by regular flooding compared to a lot of the other caves, like mammoth cave, where that isn't a problem. Learning it was also a jazz club at one time, confederate hideout, and used by the Jesse James gang was also really cool to learn. The guides are super friendly and do a great job. All the staff was really a pleasure to interact with.

Rail museum
The Historic RailPark & Train Museum is located in a restored 1925 L&N Passenger Depot, constructed from Warren County limestone. The museum offers interactive exhibits that showcase the history of the railroad, including the African American experience during segregation and its role in the Civil War. Visitors can also enjoy guided tours of vintage railcars and explore a model railroad. Additionally, the museum provides educational programs for various group types, making it an ideal destination for school trips, scout outings, and family visits.
Great little museum. The indoor exhibits were very nicely displayed. The layout told a good story about the L&N and rail history in this area. The outdoor exhibits were in nice shape and very well displayed. Railfans will definitely enjoy this place.

A wonderful place to learn about the history of the L & N (Louisville & Nashville) railway, ste train station and go on board the train cars... engine, mail car, dining car, 1st, 2nd 3rd class and Presidental accomodations.

At the spur of the moment, we stopped for a visit to stretch our legs. We are so glad we stopped. This place is a well-preserved historic site. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Great hands-on and educational museum.

Pleasantly surprised to see a great Railroad museum. They take you on the cars and explain such rich history. Great for adults and children.

Our son is HUGE into trains. He loved the tour and museum. While I can say I was not looking forward to it, I really enjoyed the tour and the history. You can buy tickets online but we were the only people on the tour.
Hunter B — Google review
The museum piece and the train are amazing. I could tell from chatter with his coworkers, after our tour, that our guide is really interested in the Museum and the quality of the experience. He came across as nervous and unsure of the history stories that he was sharing. I was to glad to see a younger person that is interested in railroad history and I'm sure his presentation will grow with experience.

Nice historic building. The museum had lots of interesting information but the tour guide brought the history alive.

Water & Amusement Parks
Beech Bend is a popular destination in Bowling Green, Kentucky, offering a range of activities for visitors. The amusement park features a race track, campgrounds, go-karts, and roller coasters that cater to thrill-seekers and families alike. Additionally, Lost River Cave provides an urban 70-acre park with natural attractions like caves, wooded trails, and rivers as well as man-made features such as butterfly habitats and event venues.
Beech bend is a great place to watch some racing, attend a car show, or anything automotive related. I have never been to the park portion as that is not my thing but the racetrack is top tier. Yes, the seats are wood and the stands are "old" but they are well maintained and give a great retro racing vibe. Prices feel very reasonable depending on the event and I have never left disappointed. Sometimes it can be hard to find staff while at an event due to the size of the property but usually it is very easy to figure out where you need to go.

Not my first visit but will definitely be my last. Its been about 7 years since we've been . We visited on a Wednesday and the crowd size was perfect, I bought tickets online becuase they are heavily discounted if you buy online. First stop is to get a locker, the first 2 kiosks didn't work wouldn't accept my payment a little frustrating but the 3rd one finally worked. The newer cluster of slides were shut down so we just hung out by the lazy river n kids area by the wave pool. There was green algae growing all over the outside of the slides and the ropes, like slime gross algae, there were some spots around the edges of the concrete in the water that also had clusters of algae. The big bucket thats supposed to fill with water and dump wasn't working and some other things that should spray water weren't working either. I like their lazy river but the palm trees that spray water there weren't working too. We went to the pool and there was white gritty stuff floating all in the water, you can see it on my bathing suit top so that felt gross. My son asked why the slides were shut down and was told it was due to green water, um nasty. They finally opened the slides back up around 3 p.m. . The lifeguards need more supervision and training. There were a total of 6 boys that came out of a slide together. The blue slide. Somehow they positioned theteselves to hang on inside and wait for their buddies, the lifeguard at the top never paid attention that nobody was coming out the bottom before they let another one go. See the pics. Another lifeguard was in the pool collecting money off the bottom acting like it was a pay day. The place was filthy, trash, water standing, algae growing. Doesn't look like they reinvested in this place in many years, definitely looks like its going down hill. Looks like there is plenty of staff but seems most are standing around and dont have much initiative to do much.
Amanda B — Google review
Our family visited Beech Bend for the first time, traveling from Tennessee, and unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. The park felt very out of date and not well taken care of. A lot of the areas looked run-down, and it didn’t seem like much effort goes into keeping the park clean or inviting. The “magic show” was the biggest shock. It included a man popping a Tic Tac out of his eye, which was honestly gross and definitely not kid-appropriate. We brought our kids expecting a fun, family-friendly experience, but instead, we felt uncomfortable and let down. We won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to other families looking for a safe, clean, and fun day out.

LS Fest East is awesome. Everything is going on all at once. I did LS Fest West last year and the weather did not cooperate. Kentucky is awesome. Having a great time.

We came the weekend of sept . 26,27 &28 for holly ford fest. We had a wonderful time except dont stop coming off the cat-walk even if your legs cramp up or for an emergency. One of the workers came over and said we were blocking a sign which stood 6ft taller than me standing up and it was as wide as a school bus, So idk how I was blocking it but I will say this even when telling her she had no remorse! Im sorry you may not like your job but hokding a chair down dont seem too hard 💁🏻‍♀️ Evidently she upset some other spectators because they were even upset with how she did. They actually were pretty furious. If you have leg issues or trouble walking long distance bring your own scooter. they rent them but its not affordable to just everyone.
Alice L — Google review
We lived the water park and Amusement rides. I wish there had been lockers in the Amusement Park instead of only in the water park. Some rides would not let me ride with my small over-the-shoulder purse and I refused to allow my purse to be left unattended. This rule NEEDS to change. The kids were frustrated over it and so was my husband. Gift shop was nice and the restaurant gave free ice water. Go cart track cost extra, which is ridiculous with the price you pay to get in. The cost depends on the height of the person, not the age.
Julie W — Google review
We come out every year for LSFest and wow what a great location. Seeing it continues to upgrade and work to handle the larger crowds has been updated year over year.

Greetings, esteemed followers and patrons of amusement, I extend a cordial salutation as I find myself once again in communion with this noble circle, eager to share my reflections upon a most intriguing establishment known to the world as Beech Bend. My recent peregrinations took me northward, drawn by the siren call of the renowned Kentucky Rumbler, a roller coaster crafted with skillful precision by the venerable artisans at Great Coasters International. Indeed, this magnificent contrivance of timber and steel, though deserving of considerable acclaim, often finds itself languishing in the shadows of more illustrious counterparts. Permit me, therefore, to illuminate its grand virtues for your thoughtful consideration. Upon my arrival, a warm embrace of park ambience enveloped me, and the laughter of joyous souls filled the air. The Kentucky Rumbler, resplendent in its design, beckoned me forth. With each graceful arc and exhilarating drop, I was transported beyond the constraints of earthly concerns, experiencing the thrill of unrestrained motion that only a well engineered coaster can provide. The craftsmanship inherent in its construction is both a wonder to behold and a testament to human ingenuity, deserving of accolades far exceeding those it currently receives. However, my exploration of this charming park was far from confined solely to the exalted heights of that splendid ride. Nay, I made my way to partake in the diverse array of flat rides that Beech Bend graciously offers. Amongst these attractions, I must draw particular attention to the Laron drop tower. This model, a favorite amongst connoisseurs of aerial descent, stands as a paragon of design, exceeding the merits of its numerous counterparts. One cannot help but marvel at the perfect synchronization of physics and jubilation as one ascends to great heights, only to be released in a serendipitous plummet toward the earth’s embrace. Yet, perhaps my most delightful encounter was with the Lazer Fury 360, a veritable triumph of innovation, cleverly blending the mechanics of Bumper Karts and the thrilling dynamics of an Air Race. In a veritable dance of speed and strategy, one must navigate the game with both finesse and alacrity. This attraction captivates the heart, and I would posit that it stands as an essential experience for any visitor to Beech Bend. If I were to recommend but a singular must do in this park, it would surely be this exhilarating escapade, a testament to the harmonious melding of playfulness and competition. Regrettably, I may not speak to the aquatic delights offered by the adjacent water park, as the allure of such rides does not beckon to my sensibilities. My inclinations tend toward the terrestrial and the thrilling pursuits of gravity's grip rather than the whims of aqueous frolicking. Thus, I shall leave the waters unexamined and await the testimonies of others who may find joy amidst their cool embrace. Alas, I must also address the culinary fare of this establishment, a matter that, while of utmost importance to many, leaves much to be desired in terms of gastronomic luster. The repast available within the confines of the park can be described as basic theme park fare, lacking in both the diversity and complexity that one might hope for. While sustenance is a fundamental necessity, it is not the paragon of culinary artistry. Mediocrity reigns, yet one must not permit such trivialities to overshadow the rich experiences that await beyond the dining options. In conclusion, dear reader, I express my gratitude for your indulgence in this humble review of Beech Bend. As I reflect upon the joys embodied within this park, I am reminded of the simple yet profound pleasures that amusement can bring to our lives, a brief respite from our tribulations, a chance to revel in the company of loved ones, and a momentary escape into the realms of joy and laughter. Thank you for joining me on this expedition, and may your future voyages to such establishments be filled with exhilaration and delight.

Dairy farm
Chaney's Dairy Barn is a charming spot located on a working dairy farm, offering housemade ice cream and sandwiches. It is renowned for its old-fashioned homemade ice cream with unique flavors like bourbon crunch and pralines and cream. The farm also provides tours that feature the new robotic milker, wagon rides, jumping pillow, and of course, their delicious homemade ice cream.
Such a neat place. Stopped in on the way to Bowling Green. The ice cream is incredible and my kids had so much fun on the play area. We loved it so much we stopped by again on our way home again too. Definitely recommend!

One of the best ice creams I’ve ever had was their limited-time blueberry cheesecake. I was in Bowling Green for two days and tried it on the first day. I couldn’t stop myself from going there the next day. The ice cream was delicious, and the place is also beautiful. They even have a children playground. I’ll definitely go there whenever I come to Bowling Green again.

Cool place to see how cows are milked and grab some food. Burgers are delicious and the chili was amazing. The cows are cute. A self guided tour is only $4 and you have the chance to pet the cows. The ice cream is the best! We got cookie butter and it was great. It's very high quality with 16% milk fat. The gift shop is cute too.

Words (and pictures) cannot do justice to the Chaney Dairy Farm experience! The adults had as much fun - if not more! - than the kids. We spent three hours walking around this working dairy farm, playing in the incredible playground, meandering through the shop and eating a scrumptious meal all followed up with huge scoops of ice cream!

We had so much fun and the ice cream was incredible. It wasn’t crowded when we went and the weather was perfect. I definitely want to go back and try more things.

We really enjoyed our visit. The bacon cheeseburger and chicken tender salad was really good. Ice cream was good as well. My son got a bag of jelly beans and naturally opened it straight down the middle, so jelly beans were going everywhere. A staff member gave me a zip lock bag, which we really appreciated, this was our issue and she helped without hesitation. Great family friendly place to visit.

This place has expanded from first time we visited here several years while attending a CMA festival at Nashville. Playground, restaurant, seating area has all grown. Food & Ice cream is delicious & made right here at this location and I can watch a short video about farming process & business of making products sold here, very good way for kids to witness farming first hand.

American restaurant
Montana Grille is a rustic American restaurant located in Bowling Green, KY, offering a cozy log-cabin ambiance and serving up rotisserie chicken, cocktails, and more. The warm and inviting dining room features beautiful logging and woodwork, along with stone wood-burning fireplaces that create a charming atmosphere. Known for its premier steakhouse offerings, the menu includes highlights like the Bourbon Tenderloin Filet that promises a delightful dining experience.
This was outstanding the first time. From the start, the hosts were very friendly. Our waitress was also friendly and attentive. Everything we ate was superb! Good size portions. We sampled each other's plates. I'll just say, we joined the empty plate club here!! What I could not finish the men helped out. It's definitely a most for our yearly event in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

We were traveling cross country and my wife was worried that we were under dressed, but ended up not being an issue. The place had a nice, upscale air to it, but one inside and seated... it had a local-gathering-place, warm, relaxed atmosphere. We chose this place with the sole intention of trying bison burgers. The sake cucumber slices at the onset were actually EXTREMELY TASTY! I had the bison chili first, as a starter. It was DELICIOUS!! My wife tried the cheeseburger with garlic and i had the mushroom Swiss (first time seeing/ trying it with sour cream). Everything was of the charts delicious, and moderately priced. A MUST TRY!

Hit or miss. This place has all the right elements. Rustic atmosphere, comfortable setting, attentive service. The menu offers a good amount of premium steakhouse items. My experience here was lackluster due to the food. Really it was a letdown. Ordered a burger and steak, both medium and both came out charred black and well done. Sent back and remade, burger was medium but charred, and steak was rare. Sent steak back again and it was charred and medium. The cook nor manager that night know how to run this place. You can’t charge 30 for entrees and have it taste like coal. I doubt I’ll be back and I won’t be recommending this place unless I hear the consistency and quality have improved. Hate to give poor reviews but that’s how it is.

Yuengling on tap. Nice bar selection. Food was great but expensive for the portions. Left wanting more. Beautiful establishment! amazing wood smoker smell throughout with large elegant cabin feel. The grill is at the head of the bar. Very nice work flow from grill to wait staff and fun to watch from the bar.

I really wanted to give a better rating. My bartender was awesome right up to the point where the food came out and it was, let's just put a mildly " tough to swallow ". I had the small prime rib with grilled asparagus and the Caesar salad. The Martinis and Caesar was great! After that everything went downhill. I literally sat at the bar for about an hour. ( Two martinis ) I presume my prime rib sat under a heat lamp for The same time, before somebody decided to give it to me when I requested status on my meal. The bartender checked and stated they were having issues in the back. Anyway, long story longer, cold tough meat and untrimmed soggy asparagus. Both of which were literally thrown on a plate. ( Posting pictures )

Always had a great experience eating here. Had the Little Horn prime rib this time and it was super tender and filling. The Cowboy sirloin is also a good choice if you want some steak but not a STEAK if you catch my drift. PFA since we were here for LS Fest and loved the view.

We stopped at this exit for an overnight stay on our way home to Atlanta. Had a wonderful dinner here at Montana Grill. From the service to the food it was a really awesome experience. Sports bar
Double Dogs is a popular eatery and sports bar that offers a casual American dining experience along with a variety of craft brews. The restaurant is named after the owner's two labradors, Bo and Chancey, who are also the mascots of the establishment. The menu features signature nachos, wings, chicken fingers, pizza, salads, burgers, and hot dogs.
Love the place, very charming. Food is better than expected. I read some reviews that said service was bad…. I get it. The food was super fast, the people bring out the food were fast and friendly. It’s very clear that the kitchen is managed very well……. However……… The bar tenders suck. They walk around aimlessly not paying attention to anyone. You’re waiting to ask for a drink and they’re just aimlessly wondering around. The contrast is kind of funny. Everyone else is a well oiled machine but the bar tenders sucks. Food was good. Potato soup was best I’ve ever had in my life.

Tried Double Dogs, never been to one before (only 9 locations in the TN/KY area). Stopped in for lunch. Walked in and it was definitely a sports bar environment. Seated right away, very friendly waitresses Yes waitresses only, no gents serving any food here-they are in the kitchen cooking. Ordered a tall beer (very cold with frost on the glass). Ordered bow wow wings, honey Chipotle boneless (largest order of boneless we've ever had and worth every penny, homemade onion rings (best thing of the day and it was all great) and some Cajun fries (tasty but not spicy, super good). We did not try the Bo's dog bowl nachos but they looked very good. Waitress was attentive, food was delicious, will definitely go back if we are in the area.

What’s good: I love the idea of this restaurant named after the owners beloved pets and their commitment to supporting their local animal shelters. The food was very good, the chicken Caesar wrap was a perfect modest portion and comes without sides. My husband got a Mac and cheese type meal which he loved. The service was friendly and fast. What not so good: it is so loud in this place that we struggled to carry on a conversation with our friends. There are giant TV’s covering most of the available wall space and I get it, it’s a sports bar but what fun is it if you can’t hear each other? My other pet peeve is the uncomfortable seating which, along with the noise level seems to encourage people to come in, eat and leave quickly, “churning” guests.

The food was phenomenal, the onion rings were the best I've ever had, our server Alexandria was exceptional, the casual atmosphere made us feel right at home and the Michelob Ultra was super cold. Overall, I was very impressed with Double Dogs and will go back.

Was recommended to go here from someone I know. I was very disappointed. I tried 3 different flavors of the wings. None of them had a good flavor not to mention did not like the wings itself. Tried the sausage queso it was ok but the sausage was way to thick should have been ground up better. My son loved the BBQ bacon burger my wife loved the cheeseburger. The onion rings was cold and did not taste good at all . Even warm they would have tasted badly. The fries where not good to me but I don't like shoestring fries . My 2 sons liked them but my wife and I did not. My son had the hotdogs was not a fan of it either my son did not like it as well. I did try a bite of my wife's cheeseburger I will have to give this a 👍 it was really good but everything else was not. very disappointed especially after spending $105. The place however was very clean and nice decor loved the fireplace outside. The bathroom needed a little upgrade not dirty just old looking. The server was friendly and was doing a great job. Up until she brought the food then we never seen her again until we was done. She knew we had never eaten their before but she did not come back and check on Us to see if we liked the food or needed anything else. Again she was very friendly and helpful just wish she would have checked on us to make sure we was satisfied. I would personally not recommend this place for myself but I could see how someone not as picky as me might like it.

Great place to hangout and enjoy some good American food. Dog friendly as well. Beer selection is a little limited for those that like craft options but overall, a solid experience.

Man those onion rings were so good!!! The tap beer had ice in it and the burger was pretty dang good. Did I say how good the onion rings were!

Nice place. Dogs are welcome in the outside eating area. There is a fireplace and heaters to keep you warm. We were here in 55 degree weather and were very comfortable. They even provided a dog bowl and water. The crunch wings were awesome in smoking hot with ranch. Wings were a bit pricey - 12 for $19.99 plus $2 for twice fried crunchy.

Barbecue restaurant
Smokey Pig Bar-B-Q is a long-standing family-operated establishment in Bowling Green, Kentucky, known for its hickory-smoked meat plates and sandwiches. The restaurant has been serving up an idiosyncratic take on grilled meats since the early 1970s, with a technique mostly focused on pork. The meat is smoked without additional spices and served with a spicy vinegar-based barbecue sauce.
We had been in the area on a road trip with some friends and decided to give this place a try since one of the folks we were with was craving good BBQ. Food and service was fantastic, dining area is small and perfect for a place like this. Pictured is the rib plate with potato salad and Mac and cheese. Portions were generous for the money. We had 3 other people with us, they got the pork plate and brisket plate but forgot to get photos of those meals. Food was fantastic and service was also amazing. Really felt that 'southern hospitality' stopping in here. We took a piece of derby pie with us to go and they was also fantastic. Give this place a try - coming from someone who lives 500 miles north - you won't be disappointed.

We stopped in during the week for lunch. There was a decent line waiting to order but it moved pretty quickly. They give you a decent amount of food for the prince. I ordered the ribs with baked beans and mac. The food was okay the ribs were a little salty for my taste but very tender. The only reason for 3 stars on service was you order at the window and take your own food.

Good stuff. It's not Deep South Q, more 'roasted' than 'smoked overnight'. Nothing detrimental there, just FYI. Sides were all good. Service is as good as it gets. They are proud of their food as any kitchen should be. If ypur passing through take the 3 minutes needed to get here and pass all the same old chains. Great value, Nice dining room overlooking the river. GO!!

BBQ + sides worth going out of the way for! I’m picky about brisket (I like it flavorful), and this is for sure some of the best brisket I’ve ever had. So good I couldn’t bring myself to put any sauce on it! Didn’t want to hide any of the awesome flavor. If you’re near Bowling Green and you want a hearty meal - you won’t be disappointed if you come to Smokey Pig!

Great food, not from a can or a box. Great sauces. Real sides. Friendly staff. Best kept secret.

Great place to eat. The food was great and I got it immediately. The staff was friendly and the place was really clean. They put effort into their sides and I appreciate that.

I had just finished a 10-hour trip and was recommended this BBQ spot by the staff at my hotel. I try BBQ everywhere I travel, and their hospitality was amazing after such a long day. The food isn’t your typical BBQ, and that’s exactly what hit the spot. I’d describe it as more of a “lunch-style” BBQ—thin cuts of meat paired with killer sauces that make for a refreshing recharge. One standout is their drip sauce, which I’d call a BBQ Au Jus. It’s a must-try.

Bistro
The Bistro is a charming restaurant located in a restored late 19th-century house, just a short distance from the picturesque Fountain Square in central Bowling Green. The intimate and beautifully decorated interior makes it an ideal spot for a romantic date or special celebration. The menu features a small but well-crafted selection of European dishes, including Italian and American fare, as well as an array of expertly mixed martinis.
We went to The Bistro on a Friday night. We got a nice table in the beautiful heritage home. I had shrimp and grits — some of the best I’ve ever had. Large portion and full of flavour and luscious shrimp. My husband had the veal with piccata sauce and it was tender and delicious. What a hidden gem! Totally enjoyed the meal, atmosphere and service was very good. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely lunch at The Bistro in Bowling Green. I was especially pleased to see the brunch menu available, as it gave me a great option, steak and eggs, that aligned with my carnivore diet. It was a much better fit for me than the usual steak and fries, and everything was cooked well and served hot. It also came with some breakfast potatoes and onions, that my husband loved. My husband ordered the breaded chicken sandwich, which he said was fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. The portion of fries that came with it was huge, definitely generous for a brunch plate and great for sharing. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, and service was friendly without being rushed. Overall, it was a great spot for a weekend meal with quality food and a menu that works for a variety of dietary preferences. We’d absolutely return and recommend it to others.

It was my wife & I first time dining at “The Bristol Restaurant” here in Bowling Green, Ky. We were out for the evening to try a new place, and possibly a new variety of cuisine we have never had before. We arrived at the restaurant at 6pm on a Saturday evening an extremely busy time for the restaurant. So when we entered it was apparent that the hostess was expecting a reservation from us and we had none. However we were very lucky and she went ahead and seated us very promptly regardless of not having a reservation. She proceeded to place us in a good location with a good atmosphere, and a very nice table in the main dining room. From here I observed most of the tables were taken with happy casual dressed customers enjoying their drinks and fine meals. Now once seated we were assisted by Wayne our waiter for the evening. He was very polite, extremely cordial, and a fine young gentleman with great skills of an experienced waiter. He described whatever entries we required about effortlessly in great vivid detail. He also had all the chef’s specials and unlisted entries memorized to great perfection. Well the waiter then gave us a little time to decide and he said he would return shortly. Upon his return we made our uncertain selections. Well my wife chose to try the Voodoo Pasta dish, and I decided on the Short Rib Risotto. Now these are meals we have never tried, or experienced before. So we were not sure what to expect, or whether or not it will please our taste buds. Our entrees arrived hot and very pleasing to the eyes. The meal presentation was quite good. They both looked very appetizing in their display and preparation. Well we both ate pretty much all of our meals. Our final consistence was that we agreed they were ok to good, but we probably wouldn’t order either of them again. I’ve never had a beef short rib meal before. It just looks and tastes like an expensive pot roast meal on broth flavored rice to me. It was okay, but nothing to write home about. The wife’s Voodoo pasta was about the same to her. She said she wished she got the salmon entrée instead . So now with that being said the entree’s might be delicious to other customers who have a different taste or style of food.

After searching for a new place to enjoy in Loretto, TN, I found The Bistro. The reviews were good. My husband and I were not disappointed. The restaurant was clean, nice seating, fast friendly service and delicious food. The tea was refreshingly smooth. We will be taking friends. We also noticed a wonderful breakfast menu that we are going to try early.

4.45 stars Recent visit.. new lamps on table look nice. Burger and fries were cooked excellently. Good flavor on the chefs choice. Some new items on menu! Meal was very good, some temperature issues but tasty. Drinks still great. ‐--------- Update on review.. had a couple spotty visits from a food choice standpoint but overall still a favorite. Drinks are always good. Wish they would keep blackening seasoning on the menu to better flavor grilled chicken. ‐-------------- One of my favorite restaurants in Bowling Green. Different specials each visit, different desserts each visit, same good service each visit. The rabbit is always a go to but tried the cooks choice burger is always delicious. Get the board for an appetizer that has all kinds of cheeses and meats. A must visit while in BG.

Brunch options are a plenty in Bowling Green, and when you want something complex and flavorful, the Bistro has you covered. Definitely recommend reserving a table beforehand, as even a Sunday brunch time fills up quickly. The restaurant itself is in a lovely refurbished house from 1893, the atmosphere is comfortable and a bit upscale. And I mean upscale in the best of ways. Approachable, regardless if you’re in your Sunday best, or like me, jeans and flannel. We had the fried chicken, short rib hash and some French toast. The French toast is a changing chef’s choice, and today was a real treat with perfectly cooked blueberry lemon French toast with whipped cream. The short rib hash was delicious and rich, and the fried chicken had a surprising (and enjoyable) sweetness. The Bistro is a wonderful spot to enjoy some high quality food and relax before the work week begins.

We stopped in from out of town, and had no regrets. It was one of the best meals I can remember! We tried the Crab Meat Beignets, Harvest Salad, Chef's Chicken (which was a Cajun fried chicken, with grilled pineapple, red beans and rice), and the Shrimp and Grits. All of the food was amazing, and some of the best food we've had! I'd highly recommend. The two cocktails my girlfriend got were also good. The artwork also provides a nice atmosphere!

The Bistro is a well-known gem to locals. The food just seems to get better and better. I always make sure to have a reservation, but you are able to walk-in. I just prefer to secure our table ahead of time. The menu has a wide price range, and I love that you can dress casual or fancy and still feel comfortable. Keep in mind that the menu is seasonal and changes regularly. This is one of the best restaurants for a proffessional dinner as far as atmosphere and variety of foods.

4.5 stars.. solely on how long it took to get my food at lunch. Everything else was great. Smoked Balogna is da bomb! Updated review.. went for the fantastic lunch deal only to find that my specific meal was off the menu. No wings at all due to price of chicken. So got the pulled pork and onion rings for 10 bucks.. an excellent meal too. Meg is super helpful and patient. Haven't been here since I started leaving Google Reviews so I popped in to try again. They have a fantastic lunch special deal with personal pan pizzas and salad or wings for about 10 bucks.. I got the works pizza (if you don't like black olives make it known) and the smoked wings with bone in and thai chili sauce. The pizza was okay but the wings were out of this world. Service was great as everyone was very attentive and place looked great. Give this place a try!

It was a good call to go and hang out here at the Lost River Pizza with a couple of teammates from the company. The beer, which I tried for the very first time (West Sixth 1906), was just great. The waitresses (totally three of them kept taking care of us 😁) were very nice and helpful.👍🏻Unfortunately need to say one thing that you guys in the 🇺🇲 need to learn how to do a traditional Italian pizza. The Classic Margherita we had was ok, but crust was too long baked in the oven and therefore too dried, too burnt. And mozzarella must be like a chewing gum! This wasn't. Overall I did really like the atmosphere inside, with good rock music being played, and this big black Harley motorcycle in the center of the restaurant! 🔥🤘🏻 I enjoyed it.

Boneless wings were a total rip off. We paid $10 for these. We haven’t been here in a couple years because we had a bad experience with the food we ordered last time as well. Thought we’d give it a chance again. Regret ordering the boneless wings. Brisket sandwich was really good though and the pizza was good but not worth the price we paid. But we ordered the double pepperoni and there’s no way in had double! Their blue cheese sauce is amazing! Server we had Saturday night said she was new but she did a wonderful job, was very nice, and took great care of us!

The food was amazing. Love the sauce, cheese bread, and custom pizza. We went in when they were down staff, but wait was a little longer. Recommendation to Meg (which is an Angel of a manager) is to teach the staff to be open with communicating what is going on, how to get the manager when conflict arrises, and be courteous to customers. Telling customers you on have 2 hands 10 minutes after you forgot something isn’t the best way to say “hey I forgot that sorry, I’ll be right back with it”. Great job on management though as she was able to correctively take action on poor staff etiquette.

We drove 40 minutes to try the brunch. We had fluffy, delicious blueberry pancakes and the brisket with egg on texas toast. It was worth the drive and we look forward to returning to try the pizza. I like the decor! We seek out the locally owned sole proprietorship places to support! Great job y'all.

The food was on Par for this type of establishement. Although there was nothing i hated, there was nothing my party absolutely loved either. The chicken in the my Chicken and Bacon Wrap was dry and lacked flavor. I saved it by stealing my wife's blue cheese off her Cobb Salad and drowning it in Ranch. My wife's cobb salad was very light on the salad, but lots of extras (Pic included). Also my personal preference i am not a fan this type of french fry. Plus side the staff was attentive and friendly. We also enjoyed the atmosphere.
