Lovely spot! Beautiful in the spring as things open up and start to bloom! Parking is relatively easy during the week but could be tricky on the weekends. The kids play are is awesome, a magical fairy land with a storybook trail and lots of interactive play. Bridges, ponds, gravel trails, lots of outdoor magical play!
Alicia W — Google review
What a treat! Many wood chipped wide walking trails winding between the trees. The landscape varies and is beautiful. Statues and Foot bridges make it fun. There are restrooms and a picnic pavilion. There is a pretty pond with fish. Kid friendly & peaceful.
Cindy S — Google review
This was a great place to stop and smell the flowers. The walking paths are clearly marked and the map is easy to Follow. You won't need all day to explore this beatiful place just an hour or two. Definitely worth the time.
Patrick F — Google review
Peaceful, beautiful and intriguing. Even in the fall there are some beautiful wildflowers. It has a labyrinth, a children's exploration area and nice walking paths.
Jean B — Google review
What a truly beautiful place. Wonderful walking trails with a great variety of plants, trees & flowers. So close to the city, yet very quiet & peaceful.
Jim A — Google review
Perfect for long walks in deep forest (3 miles) or short visits with wiggly kids (even 10 mins is a fantastic experience). It's Grounding, healing, feels like real nature with a twist of TLC.
Katie R — Google review
Beautiful fall foliage while we were here for a brief visit. Would like to return when we have more time to walk the loop trails.
Ellie G — Google review
A nice, quiet place to take a walk. I would love to come back in the spring. It was raining but the trees provided enough coverage.

Specialty Museums
Nestled in the heart of Harrisonburg, Virginia, the Explore More Discovery Museum is a vibrant haven for young explorers. This community-driven museum offers an array of hands-on exhibits and educational activities tailored to engage children of all ages. Since its inception in 2002, it has transformed learning into an adventure with themed areas like an art center, construction site, farm market, and even a science lab! Each section invites kids to dive into interactive experiences that foster creativity and curiosity about their surroundings.
Great for kids of all ages. All 3 of our kids enjoyed their time there. It was very busy, but we came on a Saturday morning so it’s understandable. Would definitely recommend coming here for some great indoor fun. The vacuum tubes and scarves were my son’s favorite.
Reuben Y — Google review
We have a children's history museum in dayton. I was going into this one thinking it would be more like that. It definitely wasn't. Much more hands on. My kids had so much more fun there than boonshoft.
Calvin R — Google review
This place is so much fun and great for kids to learn while they play. My husband and I had a lot of fun too honestly. Everyone got to explore all sorts of pieces of life(the human body, jobs, finances, auto work, theater, and many more) with tons of chances for imagination and creativity!
Cheryl M — Google review
Highly recommend if visiting or live in the area! We stayed at the Massanutten resort and took our 13 month old. There are 2 sections for kids under two as well as various sections for other ranges of age groups. Our toddler was still able to enjoy other sections that were for older kids as well. Well worth it for the money and she loved it!
Lisa C — Google review
Perfect for a toddler! So much to do! Very clean and tidy.

I'd like to think that we are a family that is seasoned in Children's museums. This is definitely one of the better ones that we've been to. We were looking for something to do on our checkout day from Massanutten resort and we saw this on the way up north 81 so we decided to let the kids expel some energy before a 4-Hour car ride. It was a little bit difficult to find. The GPS brought us to the front entrance but the parking is actually behind so we had to go around the block. The attendant at the front was very nice. The price is great for a children's museum. Some other places we've been to are just so expensive compared to this. Right off the bat, they have some unique things when it comes to Children's museums. We love the science center right when you come in with lots of different activities for preschool or elementary level kids. Our son attends a Montessori School up north so a lot of the stuff in that science center was right up his alley. The news broadcasting center was down while we were there for refurbishment. There's still plenty to do with that not being accessible to us. My daughter (9) loved the theater area and we had the counting popcorn toys in our Amazon cart by the time we left. I do think that they could upgrade some of the costumes. Since she was a little bit older there weren't a lot of options for her. She eventually settled on some butterfly wings but I could see her longing as a little girl ran around in a full princess dress. My son absolutely loved the aviation area on the second floor, Thomas the train set, ambulance, and car repair shop. All of them were great for a child obsessed with vehicles.
Meredith Y — Google review
Our kids really enjoyed this museum! Removing a star because of the other children that were there on a field trip weren’t the nicest. They have a lot of workers set up around doing activities but they could’ve benefitted from overseeing more of the children and helping the big kids share, be gentle, no pushing, etc. I wouldn’t go back until my kids were older
Caroline M — Google review
Amazing location! My kids favorite place to go. Great educational content and very attentive and friendly staff. Would highly recommend to anyone with kids of every age!

Farmers' market
Shopping
The Harrisonburg Farmers Market has been a staple in the community since the 1950s, offering a wide array of local and seasonal produce, artisanal bread, free-range meat products, and rare cheese finds. What started with a local organic farmer selling his produce in a police station's parking lot has now evolved into a beloved market that brings together farmers, artisans, and vendors to connect with the local community.
One of our favorite farmer’s markets in VA, great variety of fresh produce, sweets, flowers, honey, baked goods and snacks.
Tetiana B — Google review
Will not be buying from Ryan’s Fruit vendor! I’m surprised Harrisonburg Farmers Market allows “farmer” venders such as Ryan’s Fruit. Knowing their strict rules on who’s allowed to sell there, I’m genuinely surprised. I bought peaches from Ryan’s Fruit and they were either previously frozen or had a sign of long refrigeration. The flesh had a particular texture of long refrigeration or freezing with brown dark floppy flesh around the pit! They tasted disgusting! I have also seen boxes of packed fruits under their tables, and those are the identical boxes to the ones you get from local Shenandoah Valley Produce Auction. He is clearly reselling fruit, and charging premium prices for fruit that were refrigerated or nearly frozen for awhile. And that’s considered okay?? I thought HFM only allowed farmer vendors who grow their own produce! What am I missing here?
Nadezh B — Google review
Wonderful place to spend a couple hours or just grab a few farm fresh items be it flowers, honey, vegetables or prepared items. There is also a nice picnic area with tables next to the market. Free parking is available adjacent to the market.
Bryan V — Google review
This is hands down one of the best farmers markets I have ever been to. It’s pretty small, but I think that’s part of what makes it great. They have a little bit of everything and its not so overwhelming that you would overlook things. If you stop in, definitely try The Loving Crab. Their crabcake sandwiches are amazing, so much so that I had to mention them. Everything is super fresh and relatively inexpensive for the value of it.
C L — Google review
Found some great fresh produce, listened to some nice music, and had a nice time. Parking was free and on-site. Some vendors accepted credit cards.
Alice S — Google review
Great variety of mostly local products. Great Crepes, locally roasted coffee, great mushrooms and all kinds of produce, baked goods, etc... Very nice atmosphere too, usually someone playing music on saturdays
Kevin S — Google review
It's ok, some of what was advertised I was not offered or told about. Not many vendors participating in Healthy together market. The advertising makes it sound as if all do..
Denise F — Google review
Cute and convenient. Great that it is under a pavilion as it was raining during my visit. Available shops were friendly and had good locally grown/made options for items from food, breads, meats, veggies to honey, soaps, and skin care. Fairly priced for local goods, it is better to support our local community, glad I was able to do so here.

Tourist information center
Visitor Centers
The Hardesty-Higgins House Visitor Center, originally built in 1848 by physician Henry Higgins and home to Harrisonburg's first mayor Isaac Hardesty, was purchased by the city in 2001 for renovation. It now serves as a multi-use facility offering a visitor center, museum, gift shop, and café. The house showcases early Virginia architecture and provides historical information about Harrisonburg.
A nice experience! Did not expect the small Cafe to have much available for an easy quick lunch, Surpise! It was very good. The information lady was quite pleasant and had the answers we needed. Rest Rooms were quite clean. Is a bit far from I-81 for a visitors center. College town with a BIG GAME....took is about 15 minutes to get there.
Carol L — Google review
Very friendly place and people. Lots of maps, clean bathrooms and a bakery attached!
Tired S — Google review
This is a nice little visitor center with a couple of one room museums contained within the same building. The staff is very helpful.
James S — Google review
If I could give this no stars, I would do so. The older lady that works at the help desk was VERY rude. Every job I have ever had has dealt with the public. I understand that some days are better than others. I also know that those emotions need to be in check when you come to work. The lady offered no help at all. She acted as if I had no idea what I was doing but also seemed to expect me to know what she was talking about. She was EXTREMELY impolite. I’m not the kind of person to write negative reviews about people but this was one of the most unmannerly experiences I’ve encountered with someone. Please don’t let her discourage you from the beautiful city of Harrisonburg.
Justin S — Google review
I stopped in here to get some information about the Harrisonburg area. The staff were very friendly and full of of useful information about the city. They suggested that we visit the local Camber of Commerce for information on relocating to the area. The center is located in the center of town and is a beautiful building. They offer countless brochures and maps on local sites and tourist attractions.
Jaime B — Google review
Interesting historical exhibits & film, lovely rooms, a cafe, and a very helpful staff with a lot of information on the area. Well worth a stop to begin your visit.

Very cute visitor's center. Carol is so sweet, the kids did a little scavenger hunt with the model of the old town. I like it! But weirdly postcards are .50 instead of .35 haha

Brewery
Food & Drink
Pale Fire Brewing Co. is a charming brewery located in downtown Harrisonburg, Virginia, offering a variety of tasty beers such as Irish and Pale ales, Double IPA, and American-Belgo-Style Ale. The brewery has its own Tap Room in the Ice House complex where visitors can witness the beer-making process through large windows into the production brewery. Founded in April 2015, Pale Fire Brewing Company has become an award-winning brewery with distribution across the state.
Loved that they had regular cocktails as well as good beer. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Great vibes and dog friendly!
Michelle S — Google review
Maybe the largest craft beer operation in town (my subjective feeling). All very nice and professional, with a good selection of beers and food. Nothing to complain about, just felt a little less cozy and familiar than the other craft beer taprooms, but that may have been a coincidental impression. I ended up visiting three times, so it must still have been quite alright ;) Great to sit outside on their porch when it's a warm day.
Jan-Heinrich B — Google review
Great hangout spot. Always busy with a good selection of beer and bourbon. The food is decent.
Ralph P — Google review
More of a restaurant than a craft brewery, but still an exceptional and fun place. It must be a favorite of students and professors (I actually witnessed a "have a beer with your professor" event here...glad they still do that!) Beer is good to excellent, but the focus does seem to be on the food (Detroit-style pizza the highlight). If you want a diehard craft brewery experience in Harrisonburg, may I suggest The Friendly Fermenter or Restless Moons. But Pale Fire is a great place to wrap it up, especially if you're feeling a bit peckish.
VAWineNB — Google review
Great beers brewed here. Tried the Hazy Basye and Jack Brown’s like a mug!
Bert N — Google review
Pale Fire was amazing! We just happened to check this place out on our summer vacation and man it was worth it. Great local beers and ciders. The pretzel cheese was to die for and the pizza is Detroit style but is light and airy and not heavy at all. 10/10 will come again!
Shawn W — Google review
Nice indy brewery with a great atmosphere. Detroit style Hawaiian pizza was *chef’s kiss The brew offerings were a bit lower in the ABV, if that is important to you. I enjoyed Negative Boogie - nice mosaic IPA, and an Iron King - chocolaty stout, and both were winners. Staff is super nice and super fast. Make sure you give this place a visit
Cyndi B — Google review
The beer selection is pretty good. The food is great. They got my order wrong, so that was kind of a disappointment. The atmosphere is nice. When the weather is nice, the patio area is great. There is a big parking lot across the street, so that’s nice. I’d go there again, but just double check your beverage when they bring it to you.

Fast food restaurant
Bella Luna Wood-Fired Pizza is a charming Italian restaurant housed in a brick-walled setting. It's known for its Neapolitan-inspired thin crust pizzas, cooked to perfection in their traditional wood-fired oven. The ingredients used are sourced from family farms around Central Virginia, ensuring freshness and quality. In addition to pizzas, the restaurant offers fresh pasta, mozzarella, sausages, and artisan breads made daily.
Pizza is something we take for granted. Cold delivery pizza. Salty, soggy pizzas with not enough flavor. Pizza is pizza. Or that's at least what we thought. We came into Bella Luna with moderate expectations as we were recommended to try this place. We've tried a couple good pizza spots here and there, sure they were good and reliable but nothing mind blowing per say. I came here with a group and we shared an appetizer of what I believe was the house green salad? It had fresh vegetables and a tangy mild dressing, even a chalkboard stating where they got all their ingredients. When we went it was quite busy so I cannot speak too much for the overall service but the temperature in there felt, warm? But the food made up for it, we shared the arugula prosciutto and Bella Bianca, the salty crispy prosciutto and the earthy arugula that cut through the punchy prosciutto. Our personal favorite was the Bella Bianca, a rich creamy sauce with roasted notes of garlic and mushrooms. Truly exceptional. Would definitely return and recommend trying a salad and their Bella Bianca pizza!
Ahrie C — Google review
Stop to check this place out on my way to camping and it was totally worth it. The best part was the great service from the moment we stepped into the building. The lady recommended us the pizza according to what we wanted and she was not wrong. Everybody enjoyed their food very much. One of the best Cesar salsas ever!! The local craft beers were also good. That’s a place to come and eat and have a good time with friends and family.
Sebastian T — Google review
House made pasta, meatballs, and risotto fritters were great, a fun college town vibe, parking is easy across the street, and lots of indoor seating. Wait staff was very kind and attentive.
Dustin H — Google review
Bella Luna is a solid place for dinner and drinks. Their wine list and drink menu is pretty broad, although I didn’t partake in that. The food, on the other hand, I did partake in and it was quite delicious. The restaurant is big on organic and handmade and you can taste the difference. The dough is solid, the ingredients are fresh. I got the Brooklyn with soppressata and tiramisu for dessert. I do recommend this spot to anyone in Harrisonburg either at JMU, in the area, or passing through!
Julian S — Google review
Over nearly 3 three decades of eating, I’ve never seen my wife eat more than two slices of a small pizza until today. She cleaned her plate a rarity I’ve seen less than five times since we’ve been together. She had the Margherita , and I had the Bella Bianca. Both were phenomenal. The pizzas were basically perfect. I cannot think of anything to add, change or adjust. AWESOME…..
Keon B — Google review
This is a stop I've made every time I've came up to Virginia and been around Harrisonburg. I've had several of their pizzas, and they've all been fantastic. They've also always had a good selection of beers on draft. Two pizzas, I'd like to recommend is the ring of fire and the arugula with prosciutto.
Matthew — Google review
This pizza was absolutely amazing. SO delicious. The crust was crisp and the sauce was so fresh and flavorful I also really enjoyed the sangria and watching the pizzas getting made in the wood fire grill!

The food was fabulous. Jacks sauce a must!! Dr. Gonzo burger was the messy burger you want to eat!! Fries perfectly crisp without the over gress. And the blackberry bear is perfect match made in heaven. Friendly staff and fast service. MUST TRY.

My entire family loved the food here. The smash burgers were all phenomenal. I had the Elvis which is a burger with peanut butter. Weirdly great! My daughter had the Brady burger which was a burger with mac n cheese and bbq potato chips. My wife enjoyed her cowboy burger which had cheese bacon and bbq sauce. The cheese fries were also excellent! It was all very reasonably priced too!

Great spot for an outstanding burger and fries. We sat at the bar and the service was exceptional and the entire staff was attentive. They were extremely busy for lunch, however, you would never know as this was a well oiled machine and everyone was doing their part. The Cobra Kai was outstanding and I highly recommend.

Great little spot in Harrisonburg. Had a burger and fries with a beer to wash it down. Everything was good and very reasonably priced. Their burgers are a smashburger which is not a fave of mine, but it was tasty and well cooked. Portion size was just right. Service was excellent. Options between tables and bar seating. Not overly loud so it’s a bar where you can actually carry on a conversation.
Cindy S — Google review
Visited here today after the discovery museum. We had delicious burgers, cheese fries, crisp pickle spears and fried oreos. Our toddler ate his entire grilled cheese. Everything we ate was well enjoyed. The service was great and food came out quickly. This place is our kind of burger place - no salad on a burger. Look forward to returning again for another meal. Highly recommend you pop in for a bite to eat, and finishing off your meal with a fried oreo... or 5.

Always a perfectly cooked steak or burger - and the best place to get seared sea scallops. Their bar has a huge wine list and serves beautiful, creative seasonal cocktails. We prefer to sit in the more casual, no reservations bar area. It's cozy and the service is always wonderful.

We came here for our anniversary. We had reservations and the Assistant Manager immediately served us complimentary champagne. The bread is to-die for! We had the meatballs for an appetizer. My husband had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes. I had filet mignon with green beans and mushrooms. Both filets were cooked to perfection. The desserts were also delicious. My husband had the chocolate cake and I had the creme brûlée. We also had 2 scoops of cappuccino ice cream. Highly recommend for a nice evening out- to celebrate a special occasion or for a romantic dinner date.

I looked up the best dinner in Harrisonburg, VA… and Local Chop & Grill House came through HARD. Like, not-a-single-crumb-left kind of good. 👏🏼🔥 Started things off with a Blueberry Fizz (Prosecco | St. Germain | Lemon | Lavender | Blueberry) and it was the perfect, floral little buzz to kick off the night. Then came the jerk chicken wings with what they called money sauce — and let me tell you, they weren’t lying. I have no clue what was in it but I would 1000% dip everything I eat in it forever. For dinner, I went with the 6oz hangar steak special (yes, I had to) and it melted in my mouth. Paired with the creamiest mashed potatoes and horseradish cream — 10/10. Finished it all off with a warm peach cobbler special that made me wish I had stretchy pants on 😅 The lounge was so cozy, the vibes were immaculate, and if I lived any closer… let’s just say they’d know my order by heart.

Went for our anniversary dinner and everything was absolutely amazing! I had steak and hubby had the catfish. Service was outstanding the waiter took his time to explain each dish. Glad we chose the chophouse for our anniversary!!

My husband & I had a very enjoyable meal on our anniversary. The food was incredible & our server, Ethan was very attentive & professional. There was a small mix up with our order & Ethan was very upfront with us & provided us a credit on the bill. They were also kind enough to provide us with a free dessert (the sweet potato cake) & that as well was amazing. My only complaint would be the noise. The space the restaurant is in, is very open and sound carries. The conversations of other patrons were so loud we could barely hear each other. No fault of the restaurant, just a bit of a negative for us. Wonderful food, great portions, friendly/attentive staff. If you are not looking for a quiet/intimate meal, I would highly recommend

Phenomenal experience! Our server Afton was very attentive and friendly and knowledgeable. I made a special request for seating which they couldn't have sat us in a better place. Prior to our arrival, I received a courtesy call to verify the reservations I made were still good. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. I highly recommend this place for a quiet, romantic dinner for two--or they can accommodate small groups as well. Definitely check this place out if you get the chance!!

The secluded patio is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a perfect setting to enjoy meals al fresco. As an independently and locally owned establishment, Clementine prides itself on being part of the emerging downtown community.
Popped by for brunch, mimosas were incredible, super affordable & unique flavor combos that were still available despite a rush! Biscuits and gravy weren't totally southern but they were fire. Steak was done exactly how I had asked it, portions were good, server was super kind and attentive, made sure things were good and we had everything we needed. There is also seating inside so if there is a 5-10min wait you don't have to stand or find somewhere to kill time.

There was an eclectic mix of food. The burger for my kids burger was overcooked so I'm not sure if that's just how they do kids burgers but it was way too Well done. My bibimbap was okay. The staff there was super friendly. Super nice. It's a great place in a college town where I'm sure a lot of people take their parents when they come to visit them.

We had a lovely breakfast! Very cool artsy vibe with local art displayed on the walls. The food was delicious. We had sweet potato pancakes (with a slight citrus flavor) french toast and bacon cooked to perfection. Best bacon I've ever had. It was a bit pricey for breakfast, but not your average breakfast. Rebecca was our server. She was very sweet. It may be a bit difficult for a wheel chair to enter the front door, but there is a bathroom upstairs. Really a great experience and We'd highly recommend!

My friend and I had dinner at Clementine’s by mistake. It was definitely an interesting experience. The interior is wonderfully decorated but unfortunately the food wasn’t as great. The breadth of the menu is really a problem: the “falafel” didn’t taste or look anything like falafel, it really should be marketed as fritters. Drinks are great though.
Phillip P — Google review
Starting with the excellent service we received from Jefferson, this was one of best meals of my life! We had the Fried Green Tomatoe (could have used two slices) 10/10, followed by the scallops and duck ramen 10/10, followed by Blueberry Peach Crumble 11/10. This is what a restaurant experience should be. I was visiting and found this place on google….it is not to be missed and I will make this place a part of my travel plans in the future! Well done Clementine!!!

OMG 😱. I used to really enjoy this restaurant. Key words are “Used to”. Tried their attempt at Red Curry. Ummmm it lacked in every category. No Red Curry, No sticky rice, No seasoning, and the dang chicken was grilled so the flavorless favors never incorporated. Red Curry needs to immediately be taken off the menu since it’s o onto there forte or replace the chef for serving a lackluster meal and being ok with it!!! I was so hungry entering and left the same way!

Rocktown Kitchen, located in Harrisonburg, VA, is a charming and intimate farm-to-table restaurant that opened its doors in 2017. The restaurant prides itself on serving elevated American cuisine using locally sourced ingredients. Its warm and rustic-industrial ambiance with brick-exposed walls provides the perfect setting for enjoying hearty comfort fare and impressive cocktails.
We went here for dinner on a whim and had the best meal!! The service was great and speedy, especially for a Friday night. I had the meatloaf and the Mac and cheese that came with it was full of creamy flavor and the green beans were a delightful pairing. My date had the shrimp and grits and it was a hearty portion and the shrimp was delicious. We finished dinner with the brownie and vanilla icecream, paired with chocolate sauce, caramel, and raspberry sauce topped with pecans. Such a great experience and would go again!

The people at the restaurant were very friendly. It was a nice atmosphere with lots of natural light. They have a patio out front as well. Plenty of parking nearby. The food was a little touch and go. Fried green tomato - good crust on the outside. Nice sauce, but maybe a dollop of goat cheese on the plate would be a nice addition in case you want more tang. The meatloaf with mashed potatoes was very good! The mac and cheese could be slightly creamier with more cheese. The steak was cooked to medium-rare, just how i like it, but it was lukewarm, as if it had sat for a little too long. My sister got the shrimp and grits. Being from NC, we've had a fair number of this dish. The grits were not smooth and velvety, but grainy and toothsome. The sausage "croutons" were way too hard (borderline burnt) and very overpowering. The manager did comp it, so not mad about it. Now.... for the dessert, we shared the sticky toffee cake with caramel and vanilla icecream. This dessert definitely redeemed things a bit.

Our group started off with the fried oysters. All of us tried the fish sandwich special. It was served with a homemade tartar sauce that was excellent. I choose the onion rings as my side. They did not disappoint. Service was good.

Don’t buy the “tomahawk” steak. Fairly long review ahead. My family and I decided we wanted to go to a nice restaurant before we left the area (the website alleges that it is a “fine dining casual” restaurant) and so we settled on Rocktown Kitchen. We arrived right when the dinner service began so we didn’t have to wait to be seated, which was nice. We all ordered some of their signature cocktails (pictured is “Persephone’s Bite” i believe it’s called) and I think we could all agree that the cocktails were great, very creative and tasty. Now, everyone seemed to be going well, our appetizers came out shortly after ordering, and that was delicious as well (fried green tomatoes and fried oysters) although definitely a smaller serving than we anticipated. The server was kind and attentive, and he sold us on two of the specials, the baby back ribs, and the “tomahawk” steak. Now… I use parentheses in this context because the steak we were presented with was hardly a tomahawk steak. The steak was supposed to be medium, it clearly was not, and it wasn’t even particularly hot when it arrived at our table. Now.. hindsight is 20/20, we probably should have sent the “tomahawk” steak back, but we had been waiting a while at this point and were quite hungry so we just ate our “tomahawk” steak. This steak was $135, does that steak look like it’s worth that much to you? We were sorely disappointed with both the cut of meat the served us, and the presentation (which we were told was going to be special, when it reality it was just the chef coming out and setting it down and leaving promptly), and we were told that it was a 32oz “tomahawk” steak. Clearly the restaurant served us a different cut of beef and gave us a bone for presentation, and so we complained to our server, who told us he would take it off the bill and give us a complimentary dessert. However when the check came the steak was still on the bill, and all we got for being swindled was a brownie with ice cream. If you’ve made it to the end of this review, learn from us, don’t get scammed.

food for old people. ordered the prime rib medium-rare, it arrived gray. the only enjoyable part was watching one server shadowbox another server. i'm actually worried about the chef because the linguini came with salad in it?? what was that about

Nestled in the heart of downtown Harrisonburg, Rocktown Kitchen is a gem that truly stands out. The moment you step in, you're greeted by an organized and calm atmosphere that sets the tone for a delightful dining experience. A reservation is recommended to ensure you get a spot in this popular eatery. The food here is simply exceptional—easily a 10/10. Every dish boasts fresh ingredients and perfect portions, making it worth every penny. As a picky eater, I was genuinely impressed. I even found myself enjoying the green beans, a vegetable I usually avoid! The service is top-notch, with attentive staff who consistently check on you to ensure your meal is perfect. I highly recommend trying the Meatloaf, and the Grilled Chicken and Risotto. You can't go wrong with these dishes; they are truly delicious. Whether for a special occasion or a casual meal, Rocktown Kitchen is an excellent choice. Give this restaurant a try—you won't be disappointed.
