Fishing pond
Grindstone Lake in Ruidoso offers a unique experience with its three-way trail that leads to stunning water and forest views. The area is a favorite spot for nature enthusiasts, featuring ever-changing wildflowers and wildlife throughout the seasons. Whether you enjoy swimming, water sports, fishing, mountain biking, or hiking, Grindstone Lake has something for everyone. Visitors praise the clean waters and picturesque scenery of the lake, making it an ideal destination for outdoor activities and relaxation.
Love it here. What's not to like? A beautiful lake high in the mountains. Good fishing for Rainbow Trout, Catfish and some Bass. Stocked regularly. No motorboats allowed, but Electric is good. Lots of kayaks. Swimming in the summer.

The shimmering surface of the lake reflects the vast expanse of the sky. Gentle breezes ripple the water, creating dancing patterns of light. Birdsong fills the air, adding a melodious soundtrack to the serene scene. The scent of pine trees drifts from the nearby forest, mingling with the fresh, clean air. It's a perfect place to escape the everyday and reconnect with nature's tranquility.

Drove up from El Paso to spend the day at this little hidden gem. The only off-putting thing was the alert siren going off a couple of times with no explanation as to why. Apart from that, caught a few fish, met some nice folk, enjoyed a really nice afternoon.
Paul C — Google review
Beautiful lake with rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, and a few catfish. I went fishing there and while you were fishing you could see trout jumping out of the water. Very clean place, and even a spot to jump off a rock ledge into the water.

My husband and I have a cabin in Nogal. We love to visit Grindstone when we are vacationing. We took the grandkids to the lake on June 19. 😳. I was very surprised that the lake was so low! The kids couldn't swim because of the muck. The mud was pitch black and disgusting. On the flip side we saw a man with his limit in fish. If you want to fish or kayak this is the place. If you want to swim it is NOT! Go to the city pool instead!!
Stephanie C — Google review
We came to bring our kids to the jumpers in the water. To find out they no longer had them. I called the number to even find out if they even had them still since the fire and it was just a operator. So I would probably at least have someone pick up the phone from 8-5.

The best thing about our visit was the weather. This was our first and last visit. We chose to buy tickets in the back row of the open air seating section to avoid the sun. A couple was sitting in our seats when we arrived and when we told them they were in our seats, they asked if we had tickets. We showed them our tickets and only then did they move a few seats down. We asked where their tickets were and they said they didn't have any! As the next few hours unfolded, several other parties arrived that obviously didn't have tickets, as they were trying to decide where to sit. We heard a few say that tickets aren't required in the open air section. Well, evidently, they're only required for honest people. Everyone else is entitled to ride on the backs of those who pay the hefty ticket prices. We saw plenty of security staff walking around, but none checking tickets. If facility management isn't going to prioritize this, then why shouldn't everyone know about it? Everyone should get in for free!
Lisa C — Google review
This track charges ridiculous amounts for every seat, including those in the sun, probably why it's not very well attended. Also, no one maintains the chairs, so even after paying $45, you still have to get napkins and wipe the dirt from your chair and table. The sound system is terrible so you cannot hear the announcer call the race unless you're under a speaker or TV. Been to better tracks with a more enjoyable atmosphere. This one is solemn. I gave it a 4th star just because of its view of the Lincoln forest and mountain air, but that's really more of a comment on its location than the track.

It was my first time at a horse race! It was so much fun! We sat, we stood by the rails, we bet. We did it all. Everyone was nice and one of the horses came up to us and we were able to pet it. They are definitely people oriented. They want you to have a great time. The bar area is clean and the atmosphere amazing! Will he going back!

First time visiting this place and I was impressed. The General Admission parking and the Casino parking are free. I visited to see a free concert. Little Joe y la Familia was SO good. The concert was held in a big white tent that is closer to the casino parking lot. All the employees were helpful and kind. There are port-a-potties outside the tent. They offer food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages there. They had chairs and tables (first come first serve) and a dance floor. The parking is very hectic, but there are sufficient amount of spaces, you just have to walk a bit. There are bathrooms inside the casino, too, that is directly across the tent. I definitely recommend the concert events.

My family has been going to Ruidoso Downs for years. We are New Mexico horse breeders and racers. Ruidoso Downs is a favorite track of ours. The facilities are aging but it is still a thrill to head to the races. The horse facilities are very nice, the barns are well maintained and the barn staff is good. At the track the management and staff are top notch. The valets go above and beyond to get you parked and take very good care of your vehicle. In the stands there are many seating options to enjoy the days races. Be sure to get a program to be informed about the races and the horses. Up in the turf club and the Jockey's club meal options are wide and good. There is no shortage of food here. The wait staff again are top notch and go above and beyond to take care of you. I really love Ruidoso Downs and highly recommend a visit. The open Memorial Day and the meet ends Labor Day with the $3million All American Futurity. See you in the winners circle!

Three Stars because it was a nice family event. We enjoyed watching the races from the table in the smokehouse area. We paid $120 for a table not covered. If we were to do it again I would definitely get covered, as it was very hot. Service in this area was non existent. We had to walk to the bar to order everything we wanted. I asked about food and she said she would send someone over to take our order. About the 15 minutes later someone arrived to take our food order. The only time I saw the server was to take order, drop food, and bring the check (which I had to go find her to ask for) I was overcharged for two double mixed drinks. I showed her on the menu where it had the prices listed for a double. She called the manager. I waited probably another 15 plus minutes and no manager showed. She ended up giving me the difference in cash and said the manager would reimburse her. I did assure that she was for certain going to get reimbursed, as I didn’t want her to personally give me money out of her pocket. She said she would. Overall we enjoyed the day and experience.

Fun place with cheap bets possible. Great family fun. Food and drinks available. There is also a variety of seating to choose from. The upper area is shady and had a nice cool breeze blowing through when we were there. Great views! I would suggest prepurchasing tickets online.

Ruidoso Winter Park is a popular destination during the snowy months, offering an exciting winter wonderland experience for visitors. The park features snow-tubing runs and zip lines, providing thrills for guests of all ages. With giant inflatable tubes and linked trains of tubes, visitors can zoom down snowy trails and hills. There's also a Kidz Korral with gentle slopes for little ones and beginners. Additionally, heated igloo tents are available for rent, adding a cozy touch to the experience.
My family and I enjoyed our day at Ruidoso Winter Park. Prefect spot for winter time activities like tubing and zip lining. We had a fantastic time sliding down the different speed chutes. They even have a toddler chute which my grandson adored! We wrapped up our day with a ride on their mountain coaster.
Bonbon S — Google review
I really liked the park it was fun. The slides were great there was organization but every slide took 35-55+ minutes. That I could guess, maybe 1K guests and with a hefty ticket of $80 dollars and $25 for the rollercoaster 1 adult 1 child (5y). I spent 3 hours on lines and 15 minutes sliding. For the price not sure if it's really worth it. But definitely worth the experience
Jose C — Google review
It was our first time and we loved it. It was warm at 55degrees and they have the snow enough to satisfy your winter experience. Pine trees around, and multiple lanes to slide down. There were 2 sections to slide and a spot for little kids. There were food trucks with lots of seating spots. Plenty of parking as well and was for free. The line to slide was pretty long but to het the tags to get in line was fast, at with least 10-15minute wait.
Florence — Google review
Large herds of people seeking winter entertainment. Long lines. Very long lines. Luckily we already purchased our tickets online. When we got there the ticket counters didn't sell any more tickets because of excessive crowds. The ride down the mountain requires an additional ticket. 7 people, around $400 in tickets for 2 rides down the snow plus the roller coaster down the mountain. About 2 hours in line for a total of 5 minutes of fun. Is it worth it?
Andrea C — Google review
We had a BLAST at Ruidoso Winter Park! This was the first year that our family took a mini-getaway to Ruidoso to try snow tubing and we also wanted to check out the new roller coaster. I'm terrified of roller coasters and heights, but the roller coaster goes as fast or as slow as you need it to. It was so fun and enjoyable! The staff there was so friendly and I appreciate how nicely they treated us! There was no wait on any attractions. We didn't buy any food here, but there are food trucks and small store in case you need some clothing or accessories for the snow. The attractions and the service are worth it! 10/10!!

Igloo package was nice, attendants were very polite and helpful. Igloo flaps could be more secure at the bottom. We had #5 and it was windy, the bottom kept lifting up and blowing around. Maybe needed more securing. Great time and kids loved the quick lines.

My family visited today and we had such a great time!! The slides were all amazing and all of the staff was super friendly and helpful! My kids are 17 and 11 and they both had so much fun! We did a lot of trecking through the snow, but there is a magic carpet that takes you up both sides of the mountain to the separate slides. We will be making this a yearly trip.
April A — Google review
Our family loved coming to this winter park! My kids are 7 through 13 and they all had a blast! Even my 7 year old daughter loved the coaster and the snow slopes! Highly recommend this place! Buy your tickets online so you don’t wait in line at the park and get there early! There are food trucks and restrooms and a fire pit to keep warm next to.

Pillow's Funtrackers in Ruidoso, New Mexico is a lively amusement park located at the heart of the city. It's a popular spot for thrill-seekers and families, offering go-kart racing, mini-golf, bumper boats, an arcade, and a Mountain Maze with hidden checkpoints to find. During summer, kids can enjoy gem panning.
This place is awesome. It has something for everyone, honestly. Three different kinds of go kart tracks, mini golf, a maze, bumper cars and boats, and VR. You think it's pricey? We did go karts and a round of mini golf for three people for 35.00. Try doing that anywhere else. So much fun.
Kelly A — Google review
Just had my 22nd birthday here yesterday. I brought my friends (all them are also adults with no children) and we had a great time! We did mini golf, bumper boats, the maze, panning for gemstones, and the pro go kart track and no children necessary it was so fun for us. We drove all the way up to ruidoso from Artesia, and it was worth the drive. The weather has been really bad this month, with the whole town of ruidoso flooding a few days ago so I called the day before to make sure they’d be open, and we would be safe to drive up there. The man on the phone was super nice and let me know we would be good to drive up there but there would be a few bridges in town that are closed, and he was spot on we had no trouble on our drive up there despite the rain. It was raining still a little when we got there, but all the attractions were still open! The rain broke after a while and the sun revealed to us the beautiful location this park is set in. Idk if kids would appreciate it like we did but the park was the cleanest amusement park I’ve ever been to, and every activity we did came with a breathtaking view of the trees and the mountains. 💞💞
Ashlyn S — Google review
Very fun place for kids and adults to play! We used the $100 discount ticket bundle and it was enough for 6 adults and 4 kids to play for a couple of hours. The bumper boats were the crowd favorite- perfect to cool off in the summer. Adults loved the pro track and fast go-carts. Great family run institution!
Luke M — Google review
We are here on vacation so despite it raining we chose to take our kiddos here. I’m so glad we did! We were the only group there. The workers pretty much just followed us from attraction to attraction. They were so friendly and helpful despite having to run the go karts and boats while it drizzled on us. Great service and great staff!

This place was super fun we enjoyed it, lots of fun activities to do and enjoy with family , one thing I commend was that staff were helpful, when my husband lost his wallet they found it and were kind enough to return it, considering we are not from Ruidoso. Big thanks for the help we appreciate your kindness. ❤️
Ameurfina T — Google review
Only played mini golf. The course has too many holes where the challenge is the slope. When all players take the six-stroke maximum and give up, that's not a good hole. Some holes had damaged "turf." We still had fun, and the setting is pretty, but the course itself is not so great. Nice staff or else I'd rate it the three stars it more deserves.

It also features photography, fiber arts, and mixed media exhibits that blend the past with the present. As an affiliate of the Smithsonian, it offers world-class art experiences. The museum guide dressed in 19th-century fashion adds to the immersive experience.
The Museum was Great! We got to get on wagons, horses, try on costumes, and go inside a small Casita! Even the gift shop was great! I bought some turquoise earrings and a coffee cup. Everything in there was amazing 😍!
Amelia D — Google review
I arrived after the place had closed for the day, so I just did the little trail outside and read about the different horses. I'd like to go back and look through the museum itself but with hours like that I dont see it happening. The grounds are clean and the states are very lifelike (at least to a guy who knows nothing about the breeds ha ha)
Kevin — Google review
You must visit! It is an amazing museum full of history and information. Great place for kids and adults. They have areas for kids to touch and play, they can also to dress up. Museum is well kept and clean. It is wheelchair accessible so no one can miss the fun. They also have an area to buy souvenirs.

I love how realistic the displays were set up here. A true representation of the rich history of the Wild West. And you get to play dress up in styles of clothing from that time period. Fun for the entire family.
Shanakay R — Google review
We spent hours here! The kid's dress up & imagination areas were wonderful! They can also complete a booklet and get a prize. No kids? There is a lot to see. Art, wagons, clothing, etc. Dont miss the horse sculptures outside! Handicap parking is available on the lower level.

A wonderful depiction of the American West. Lovely buggy's, wagons, chuck wagon and other items used to live in the wild west. Beautiful jewelry and household items from The Anne C. Stradling collection. A great place for children to explore. Along with a wonderful reading corner or a buggy to climb on. Take a couple of hours and go explore the history of the area. Note; handicap parking is on the lower back side.

Breakfast restaurant
The Cornerstone Bakery & Cafe is a cozy spot known for its breakfast plates, sandwiches, salads, pastries, and cookies. The friendly staff creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay and savor everything they offer. Whether it's their freshly baked green chili bread, delectable cinnamon rolls, or satisfying Mexican lunch options, you're sure to leave feeling full and content after experiencing the down-to-earth charm of this cafe.
I had an amazing experience at The Cornerstone Bakery & Cafe! Steven, the owner, personally came out to make sure everyone felt welcomed and was enjoying their meals, which really added a special touch to the experience. The food is hands down the best in town for both breakfast and lunch, and I’d even say it’s the best in the entire state! The staff were incredibly friendly, with such positive and uplifting energy. Don’t leave without trying their homemade pastries—they’re absolutely delicious!

Usually a line especially on the weekends but it moves at a decent pace. While waiting they have menus available. You order at cashier then sit at your table. Waiter will bring drinks and food. You can add on to order while you eat. When finished they pay. You can order from the bakery on the way out. If they are busy it’s easier to go out of the side door instead of front door. There are gluten free options available. If you have multiple food allergies you can order from sides where there are many options. There are a lot of drink options as well.
McKayla R — Google review
One of the best in Ruidoso! Be prepared for a line on the weekends, but the wait is well worth it. The staff is always incredible and the food is outstanding. Bonito biscuits and gravy and Chile Relleno Omelette especially. Cornerstone is a staple of all of our trips to Ruidoso.

11/9/25- Came here on a Sunday at about 930. Sat down right away. Staff attentive. Ordered the omelet with veggies and cheese. The potatoes were a little undercooked, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. The French toast was decent, but I'm just not a fan of a huge baguette piece of bread for French toast. The biscuit was good. Ambience is decent. I then got 2 chocolate chip cookies, the white chocolate pistachio color, and a cinnamon bun to go. The cookies were incredibly average. The cinnamon gun was loaded with glaze so that was good. It could is been a tad better with the quality of the dough that was used. Overall I would come back again.

This is a great little bakery, shop, cafe, all in one right off the main drag in Ruidoso. Came highly recommend by 2 friends of ours in Texas. I see why. We came in ona. Sunday at 930am and had 0 wait time. Orders at the counter and got seated. Our plates came out in about 15 minutes. I got the green chili cheddar club sandwich (minus mayo) with a side of their house tomato basil soup. Both were absolutely delicious. I'd get this again for sure. My 10 year old son got the eggs and bacon with diced potatoes and a house baked biscuit. He ate almost all of it. My wife got the sausage and blueberry pancakes. She said they were good but not great, needed more blueberries inside them. Our server was very kind and tentative. The manager came over to check on us as did one of the cooks as well. Nice to see that endgag from staff with their guests. Prices are good for what you get as well. Will be back here again in the future when visiting town.
Josh H — Google review
Once again, Aiden & Haile were fantabulous! Haile assisted my wife building her order according to her dietary restrictions. Aiden was very busy, but he & Amy made a point of stopping by our table. Emma was also very busy, but very attentive to our drinks. Another gold star for Emma was when we were parking. She was running across the parking lot after a male customer to give him his ballcap.
Marcos G — Google review
If you've ever watched the show Kitchen Nightmares, you know exactly what kind of establishment this is. We ordered 2 chile relleno omelettes, 2 Vietnamese coffees, and an almond croissant. The croissant and potatoes (that came with the omelette) were decent, but everything else tasted really off. The "green chile sauce" on top of the omelette tasted like a watered-down hollandaise that had gone bad. Coffee was really gross, with a 2 inch layer of water on the top, that even when mixed tasted of stale coffee and rancid milk. On top of that, the biscuit was soggy and falling apart. Our server was nice, but she genuinely seemed scared to get the manager for us. She also warned us that the restaurant can't "take off" items from your bill you don't like. The manager took 15 minutes to show up after passing my table once and not saying anything while bringing take-out to the kitchen. Not a good sign.... I told her it tasted off/spoiled, and she seemed skeptical. I offered to pay for what we ate (potatoes and croissant), and she agreed. She showed up with a bill of $30, which was only $1 less than the previous "discounted" bill that still charged us for the coffees and biscuit. I can't recommend this place at all, from the weird and off-tasting food, to the scared wait staff, and the Cornerstone of it all: the disrespectful and scummy management (see other bad reviews) that will nickle and dime you for everything.

Employees were super kind and attentive. You order inside and they ask if you're sitting inside or outside. I sat outside and they brought silverware and offered water to my dog. They were on it with refills and clearing plates. Ample seating outside and inside- and I went on a Saturday afternoon. The pie was also delish, and the soup sandwich combo was just the right amount! You pay the check after the meal. Would go back here!

This is a nice cozy place with very friendly service. We arrived around 12:30pm during the lunch rush and was lucky to find a table. There is outdoor seating which I imagine is wonderful during the warmer months. I enjoyed the spinach mushroom quiche with a side Caesar salad while my lunch buddy had the green chile stew soup and side salad. The best part of the meal was the buttermilk pie. It was not too sweet, just right, and the custardy filling was satisfying. If you're in Ruidoso, be sure to check this place out!

Amazing, outstanding and delicious! We were in Ruidoso and heard this was the place to get pie and boy were they right! They have an entire case full of flavors that change daily. From their famous buttermilk to the classics like cherry and apple, they have a pie for everyone. Their pies were so good I tried 5 different flavors; coconut cream, coconut meringue, fruit pie, and chocolate cream. Everything was outstanding but my favorite was the coconut cream. Pro tip, if you want to take a whole pie home you can and I did! I didn’t have the pleasure of enjoying their many delicious options for lunch but next time I’m back I will.

Loved the food and atmosphere here! We were in Ruidoso for a week during a move out west and got lunch here one day. You could really feel a sense of community here. Everyone was so friendly. Chicken salad, croissant, tomato basil soup, and blueberry cheesecake were all amazing! The tomato basil soup was probably the best tomato soup I’ve ever had.

I love everything about this restaurant. The service is 5 stars! The staff is always smiling, friendly, and attentive! The sandwiches are delicious and the servings are more than enough. I’ve tried various soups and enjoy all of them but my favorite is their French Onion Soup, absolutely delicious. My kids love the Mac and cheese. My husbands favorite meal here is their Crab Salad Sandwich. I’ve tried their pies and they are also satisfying and delicious, you need to give one a try. Best burgers in Town! The bacon cheddar tastes great, with battered fries, theyre awesome. It gets very crowded, so come with some spare time, cause most of the time youll be waiting. The place can get a little messy, so be patient.

Best burger place in ruidoso. I ordered the Hatch Chile burger and my partner got the Loan star burger. The service was quick, they were attentive. Food got to us quick and everything was delicious. We will be back soon ♥️ Fries were great as well. I am a little concerned about the garage doors. They look a little scary

This is the worse place in Ruidoso NM to eat. They never get the order correct and management is horrible. Do not even know how they are in business. This is what you get when are allergic to onions and you know you said no onions. When you always say no onions. Especially if your allergic!

My 17 year-old and I arrived at 2 PM to a full parking lot (a good sign!) and were seated in the upstairs dining area. Our server was quick and attentive, the food hot and delicious…so much so that the teen kept clapping over her meal (Hatch Green Chili Chicken Pasta).

Stopped by on the way to our cabin and sure glad we did! We were greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant was cozy and quiet with a very welcoming atmosphere. Every employee we interacted with was attentive and polite. Herschel took great care of us, a true example of what great customer service looks like. We ordered the Rio Grande Burger and Hatch Chicken Alfredo, both were amazing. The burger had a thick and juicy patty with plenty of fresh toppings. The Alfredo had an amazing balance of flavors. Both portion sizes were great for the price. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you stop by Rio Grande Grill and Tap.

Wow. How a year can change a review. I will not be coming back here and cannot recommend. We visited for my birthday dinner and we ordered some wings w the honey-sriracha sauce and 2 ribeye steak meals. The wings a year ago were perfect, large and crispy…tonight they were still crispy w a good flavor but half the size that they were last year. The ribeye steaks though…absolutely terrible. We expect a ribeye to be juicy and tender, but these did not look like ribeye steaks and they were extremely lean and had zero flavor. I now know why the staff had asked us if we wanted steak sauce! My steak had a super intense char taste to it, and it tasted off, and a it had tough texture; the mashed potatoes were weirdly sweet; and the fresh vegetables were sour. The manager/chef came out and I explained I did not like any of my meal but he was more focused on explaining that the steaks were in fact ribeyes and he trims the fat so he isn’t charging $40 for a fatty piece of meat…then still charged us for the full price of both steaks. I had 3 bites of my steak and one bite of each the mashed potatoes and vegetables, it all tasted off to me. I felt as if I was being ignored and the manager/chef was not acknowledging me. He was rude and argumentative when explaining his cooking method and did not address my dislike of my entire meal. We will not be visiting this location again, and, as a local, I do not recommend. I will say that our waitress was very nice and attentive and she apologized to me. 5/9/2025 ————————————————————————— Made it out to Rio Grande to try out their wings and other things, we've been hearing good reviews from others. We were not disappointed!! The parking looks bad from the street but there's some behind the building. We ordered wings, spinach artichoke dip, fish & chips and finished it off w a carrot cake. Also ordered drinks; root beer and the hard tea. The wings were fantastic! Perfectly crispy and not too saucy. We ordered 2 orders of 6 so we could try both the spicy boq and the honey sriracha sauces. They were not too spicy or too sweet, a very good blend of the flavors. The carrot cake was devine!! The best cake we have had in Ruidoso so far! Our server actually recommended the cake to us and I'm very glad he did! The spinach artichoke dip was okay, I wouldn't order it again. It was a little too cheesy and more spinach than artichoke and was lacking flavor. The fish & chips were alright, again I wouldn't order them a second time. A little too much batter on the fish and the tartar sauce was bland and the coleslaw was watery. The chips were perfect though!! Best fry I've had around Ruidoso so far! The root beer was delicious and their hard tea was pretty good, we were offered a chance to buy some to-go which was cool. The restaurant is really cozy too, all wood and warmth, and the tables are located upstairs. That was nice bc you can be away from the bar area to enjoy your meal w a more restaurant feel upstairs. Definitely recommend and we look forward to going back to try some burgers and steak!

We came in for an early dinner on a Saturday and were seated right away. We got a flight of hoppy beers and jalapeño poppers to start. We realized early on that service was slow and ordered our drinks and food before we wanted them. For our entrees, my daughter got the lasagna, I got the crispy chicken sandwich, and my husband got the elk burger. Food was pretty good, portions are massive!

If you drive pass Ruidoso, stop and eat at this place! The atmosphere and service are fantastic. We tried the beef stew and pork ribeye, and both were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and we left feeling completely satisfied. It was such a pleasant surprise to finally find a great restaurant during our road trip!

Excellent selection of in-house brews, as well as house-crafted sodas. Texas burger was messy (a plus!) and tasty with coleslaw. Husband had the Rueben and fries, and finished up with the dark chocolate pistachio pudding. Definitely will return.

Tina's Cafe, located at 2825 Sudderth Dr in Ruidoso, NM, is a cozy and welcoming eatery that offers hearty breakfast options to fuel your adventures. The cafe serves up classic comfort food such as fluffy pancakes and hearty omelets. Known for its traditional New Mexican cuisine, the menu features dishes with green chile, including the popular Breakfast Burrito and Eggs Benedict.
Great place for breakfast! We requested the patio because the temperature around 11 AM was around 78 or 79 F (August). Beautiful, chill, shaded patio with vegetation and vines swayed to and fro by a cool breeze. Perfect place for New Mexico green Chile chicken enchiladas. The chicken was tender and the Chile was spicy but not hot. We also ordered one of Tina’s breakfast bowls which consisted of red Chile, chorizo and two eggs over easy, and the huevos rancheros platter. The kids’ Mini New Mexico platter was the perfect size for our growing 8 year old. Beware the pancakes are big and fully! We had some beers and enjoyed the breeze with a full belly. Loved it here

Made the drive over this evening only to find Tina’s was closed early (hours show 8 PM); it’s 5:15. A note on the door said “see you for breakfast”. Well, not me. This cafe has disappointment again. Why not post an update on Google? Why not maintain posted hours? There are other places to eat. Oh, and a standard daily 10% veterans discount (though appreciated) is not doing something special for veterans on Veterans Day(see review below). And the only thing shameful is your trying to shame a veteran for leaving an honest review. I’m a fourth generation veteran, and, like many veterans, we love to be a patron of places where the owner respects and honors the country’s vets. Best of luck. ——————earlier review———— This place does not offer anything special for veterans on Veterans Day. Disappointing. Places should recognize veterans for their contributions toward maintaining this country‘s way-of-life, freedoms, and opportunity for capitalistic endeavors.

If you would like red spicy and green creamy spicy huevos rancheros this is the spot. My waitress Ms Dixie gave me an excellent experience.

I came in for the candy pig cinnamon roll but was bowled over by the steak tacos and the super friendly service. The host, server and even the cook were very sweet and clearly wanted to ensure I enjoyed my meal and had everything I needed. Definitely worth a stop!

Decided to check this place out due to many good reviews. Unfortunately, we weren't that impressed. I asked for an omelet, pretty sure they messed it up and just scrambled it. The biscuits looked soft and soggy as if they were reheated. The cinnamon roll was delicious, but not worth $7. The service and atmosphere was OK, but the music was a little loud and made it hard for the waitresses to hear our order. Finally, for some reason two out of the four of us had stomach aches afterwards. We will be trying a different brunch location next time.

Had the pleasure of coming here for breakfast with my hubby this weekend. I want to say that the outside seating is wonderful and so well kept! I ordered eggs Benedict and my hubby got the no name burrito and both were amazing! I’m originally from CA and I’ve never had red sauce as amazing as the kind that they serve! It tastes like my mom’s mole! I can’t wait to come back and thank you for the amazing food!

Yes! I’m glad I tried this place! I’ve lived in Ruidoso for a few years now and never gave it a try because someone said the owner was racist. I decided to form my own opinion and glad I did! The food is really good and I absolutely love the atmosphere. Our waiter was also super friendly and courteous and attentive. This will be a restaurant my family and I will frequent. The Green Enchiladas were tasty and cheesy, and my husband enjoyed the Migas. The only thing I didn’t like were the potatoes that came with breakfast, I found them bland. This place also has live music on the weekends, you’d have to follow them on Instagram to find out what dates. They have a selection of beers, cocktails, and wines. Oh and they have pitchers of mimosas! Stop by and give it a try!
