Children's museum
Museums
Located in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum offers a variety of hands-on activities and exhibits designed for children aged 12 and under. The museum features indoor exhibits focused on math, science, history, and bee education in the Beemazium. Children can engage in imaginative play by building dams, climbing with bees, cooking Japanese food, simulating banking and grocery shopping experiences, launching rockets, and more.
Very cool children’s museum with lots of fun activities for the little ones. They have a real beehive, area for toddlers, some fun experiments. Place was spotless clean, staff super friendly and nice little area for birthdays. Price was $30, not bad for a full day of fun :)

If you're considering a visit to this children's museum, I would recommend thinking twice. While it may seem like a fun and interactive space for kids, our recent experiences have raised concerns about cleanliness and safety. During our last visit, my wife, son, and I all got sick, each with a different illness. Unfortunately, our son has gotten sick after visiting this museum multiple times. What's particularly concerning is the water feature in the kids' play area, which needs to be tested regularly and has been known to have issues with high levels of E. coli. This raises serious questions about the sanitation of the space. While the activities are engaging, the recurring illnesses we’ve experienced make us hesitant to return. For the sake of your family’s health, I’d recommend being cautious before visiting.

Visited with daughter-in-law a two grandchildren from out of state. We were surprised at the wide variety and large number of activities. My grandchildren had a wonderful time for several hours and still hated to leave. All the children there (of varying ages) appeared to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. Highly recommended for the quality of activities available.

Very cute place for kids to play and learn! My daughter loved the Bee Hive exhibit, the Japanese house exhibit, and the Rocket Launch exhibit so much! She also can't wait to come back and play in the pretend village. The staff was friendly and helpful. We can back and she loved it just as much! She got to play outdoors today and that was her favorite part

There was a ton of activities for my family to enjoy, the staff was friendly.

Grandkids are having a blast!! Fun for the little ones to get their wiggles out! Lots of different play areas. ALL ages are $8.00 even the 1 year old. But you can stay as long as you want, leave and come back even. 2 party rooms & a small gift shop. Kids will sleep good tonight. Edit Nov 2024 Pricing is $10.00

This by far is the best place to bring kids in Michigan. My boys had the best time here. So many ways for them to explore and get into different worlds. I loved this place.

Casino
Fun & Games
Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is a vibrant destination offering comfortable accommodations, various dining options, live entertainment, and a relaxing spa. Located in Mt. Pleasant, it provides an array of entertainment, shopping, dining, and outdoor activities throughout the year. The resort features friendly staff and convenient amenities such as mobile check-in. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of slot machines and table games while earning points and comps with a player's card for use in the casino's outlets.
The wife and I had such a great time coming to the soaring eagle casino for our 5th anniversary! She really wanted the casino experience and we got it! We had so much fun and she got her pool time and a massage all in one spot! I felt like the greatest husband ever after booking this place and staying two nights. We will definitely be back and I would encourage anyone who wants the casino experience to try this place. So many awesome food options also! We ate like royalty played and swam like kids and had a great anniversary. Thanks soaring eagle!

The outdoor venue was ok. The seats felt cheap and wobbly. The floor isnt slanted, or if it is, very slightly. This means it is harder for everyone to see. The sound system was bassy and sounded quite good. The cost of concessions was well priced for a venue. The parking was good because of how many different parking areas they have there. Overall we probably wont be back unless it is someone we really want to see. Good seating is really important and I shouldn't have wished I got lawn instead of floor.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay st the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. The room was fantastic with a view of the fall colors. Room was very quiet we didnt hear other rooms or hall noise. Non Smoking, great diversity of food options. Slots were tight Enjoyed trying new Bingo games. Great place to getaway.

It's a good venue for gambling and staying but also for outdoor concerts. Always clean. Close enough to town if you want to do other things and there are other attractions nearby. The restaurants and bars within the casino are surprisingly good with good food drinks and fair prices. Easy travel on a main road. I recommend.

I went here for a conference and had a wonderful time. I was pleasantly surprised on day one with how nice the staff was (I was helped at the front desk by Noah). My room was really nice and had all the modern fixtures and technology. Loved the pillows! I am not a gambler so I didn’t play the slots at all, but I did enjoy the other features of the resorts (lots of bars and restaurant). I got room service one morning and it was speedy and affordable. The sports bar is fun and I liked the coffee shop as well. I don’t live anywhere near the resort, but if I did I would consider it for a fun weekend away!

Although the rooms and hotel are beautiful, the bed was like sleeping on concrete. My husband and I checked out at 2 am and drove home to sleep in our own bed. Thankfully the room was a free room offer so we weren’t out any money. We also frequent the casino and have never won more than a few hundred dollars.

I have traveled to 75% of all casinos in the US as a charter coach driver. Soaring Eagle is second to none. They have a the most beautiful grounds excellent dining options and a very nice casino. The Bingo hall is huge and fun to play in!

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Down-to-earth hotel offering a restaurant, a pool & a play area, plus water park access.
Took my grandsons yesterday (Tuesday) requested early check in 👍 We were in our room by 12:30pm Water park was well staffed, very impressive everyone was very nice and helpful. The guys on the surf board area took the time with each kid that wanted help♥️ Rooms very clean♥️ Restaurant food was very good, probably the best club sandwich ever. My grandson’s said the fries were so good! Definitely coming back 😎 (it was our first time)
Julie S — Google review
Room was a great value. I will say the staff wasn’t great. While checking in a staff member was loudly complaining about a customer in the back. While the staff checking me in didn’t really say anything. It was speedy to check in. The room was super cute and very clean. The water park was great for my two children (9,12). Although the rock wall was closed while we were there. It was still fun. Food court food was not anything to look forward to. But wasn’t awful for the price. The small arcade had was a hit with the kids offering newer games.

I truly wish I could give Soaring Eagle a higher rating, as my stay started off well and the staff even gave me a discounted room rate, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience ended in one of the most frustrating hotel stays I’ve ever had. On checkout day, I paid to extend my room (212) until 2 PM. When I returned around 1:25 PM, I found my room had already been cleared out. My belongings were bagged and left at the front desk, food items were thrown away, and $150 cash from my room was missing. I spoke with Emily at the front desk, who was professional and understanding, and she refunded one of the charges. However, when escalated to a manager, I was met with interruptions, blame-shifting, and zero accountability. Since then, the police have even contacted me regarding the matter, but I declined to press charges because I expected the hotel to resolve this internally with integrity. Instead, Soaring Eagle has repeatedly failed to follow up or provide any real resolution, forcing me to chase answers that should have come from them. What started as a pleasant stay ended with a complete loss of trust. Based on how this situation was mishandled, I cannot recommend Soaring Eagle, and I will not be returning.

Overall the stay was Enjoyable. Our kids had a good time, although it was limited due to the height requirements on water slides, rock wall etc. These things are advertised as " kid friendly" ~ but in reality ages 8- up. We have 2 small children 4,6 , they stayed in the pool most of the time because of the height restrictions, if that be the case , I would have liked the option to go to soaring eagle pool as a option. The other pool on location , is very dated, the jacuzzi didn't seem to work, staff used that back entrance as a private walk through area, not enjoyable when trying to swim. The arcade was decent, but we spent 60.00 in games,no prizes at that location so I took my kids to soaring eagle to the other arcade, we were able to get prizes for the other 60.00 we spent at that location. The fire pit at night was only turned on by request and promptly shut off by 11. " I would suggest leaving it on ? " Perhaps get a cover for it if worried about " wind" being a issue. The Hotel staff was great, accommodating, we provided something to eat each night for the midnight shift, it would have been nice to have some option for food at the hotel after hours. It's our intention next time to stay at soaring eagle, and to buy day passes to the water park if we decide to go. Over all for 475.00 for the room 160.00 in games we played at arcade a extra 200.00 we spent for food in 2 days. It would be hard to justify going to this location again based on a cost average of 400 a night. If I could make a recommendation, have some food available, breakfast, light night snacks ? Cookies ? And adjust the arcade so you can receive the same prizes at the gift shop. " Which was closed most of the time during our stay".

When I booked I thought this hotel was at the same location as the casino. I was wrong, but their shuttle took me to the correct location, a mile down the road. expected to hear children and have a chaotic environment, but that was not the case. Peaceful time, quiet room, great service. Tickets for the waterpark came with the room, I didn’t use them, but, what a perk when you’re traveling with kids. The park looks very fun! The shuttle service is amazing, the driver’s are a wealth of knowledge and great people!

Overall old outdated boring hotel and needs to be revamped and remodeled. Used to be a Holiday and back in the day apparently, and you can tell 100%.. no ambiance whatsoever. Charged my $50 deposit twice. Had to wait days to get $100 back to my card. Greeted warmly and attentively when I arrived. Waterpark was OK but very small, thought it would be nicer and bigger and more to do in it… As soon as we walked in, our first thought was this is it? The pictures and the hype on the Internet Make it look much better than what it is. Guy at the surf ride was Awesome, friendly and helpful to all the kids tho…he definitely was a gem. Do bring your own towels, they don’t provide them there at the waterpark. Water slides in the corner were awesome too. Pool small and arcade was really nothing to it. . Spent $324 for a room for one night for my son’s 18th birthday. Which I feel was very high for what we received, then on top of it, we found a dead mouse by the refrigerator on the floor. My husband and I wanted to leave immediately, but we did not leave because we had already decorated the room with balloons and streamers already for my son’s 18 bday. I didn’t want the inconvenience of taking all the decorations down and moving to another hotel, and my son had two friends coming. We did not notice this until after we decorated because we weren’t looking at the floor by the refrigerator and we wanted to hurry up and put the decorations up before the boys arrived. But we did notice it within a half a hour As we were putting food in the refrigerator. The manager gave us $95 in credit for the inconvenience. I feel it should’ve been more because we were all completely turned off by that. And frankly, I didn’t even want to go in the room after that, let alone sleep or eat. Needless to say, none of us took off our shoes.. Until we went to sleep. The maintenance guy came with a bag and scooped it up and left. No disinfectant no cleaning, nothing. I feel if you really cleaned the room to the hotel specifications (Debbie on the clean card), How do you miss a dead mouse on the floor? The lady at the counter informed me that she loved mice, Like ‘what’s the problem’ attitude. Just gross. The thought of a mouse (or mice) crawling around the floor, our beds (or in them) on the counters etc. was enough for me to count the minutes to our departure. Had a sliding glass door facing the woods, might’ve been left open not sure it was locked when we got there. We were told that’s never happened before, And they couldn’t understand how it got in there… Thank God, we spent most of our time at the hotel gambling! Shuttle bus is very convenient, but we only used it twice. We drove ourselves.

Perfect spot. The retreat is like a 1 bedroom apartment. Very spacious. Has a balcony with a table and chairs. Kitchen, dining room, living room area. 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds. Would def stay here again. And very clean!

Wouldn’t let my daughter on some of the attractions in the water park because she was to short. When I was standing there watching her at the rock wall the life guard had no problem allowing her to participate but once I walked away she got kicked out. I also stayed here as they were running a special with the kids eating free. It was explained to me at check in a totally different way at check out. I think the front desk staff need to be trained the same, and all on the same page. The rooms were very clean as was the rest of the hotel.

I recommend everyone visit Ziibiwing Center - learning about Anishinabe culture and history should be part of every Michigan resident’s experience. You can easily spend several hours on your own here, but I recommend booking a tour. Our guide was fantastic - we wished we could have stayed longer. They also have a lovely gift shop and a rotating exhibit. I will be back and bring new friends!

Beautiful museum. Theater spaces all comfortable. Most importantly the stories and narratives are told in the voices of the people represented in the museum.

This was educational and well done. I am glad we went and learned about the American Indians in this area and their interaction with the USA. This is an area of our history that probably still needs some attention. This group of people has much to share about how to live harmoniously with this part of the earth. They have very interesting techniques for both food and housing.

I was so impressed by this museum! Don't be sleeping on this one! You learn so much about Anishinabek culture and ways. It's enriching and educational, some parts even get emotional. 10 out of 10 from me! My little boy really loved the interactive language exhibits.

Lovely Indian Museum. There is a gift shop where you can buy authentic Indian made items. We toured the museum and there was a nominal charge. As senior citizens we paid $3.75 each. I understand that they also have computers where you can research your Indian ancestry. Very nice facility. While we were there, there was an elementary school class visiting so we got to attend a presentation of the history and meaning of tribal dances.

Kate was the absolute best waitress we have had in a long time anywhere! Very prompt friendly smile excellent service! And it was my birthday! She made me feel very special and her birthday is on Thursday. Be sure to wish her a happy birthday. Had the prime rib and it was delicious! We will definitely be visiting here again. This was our first time. Highly recommend this place

We came in as part of harvest host members. They allow us to park on their property in downtown Mount Pleasant. Our server, Andrew, I believe his name was had excellent suggestions for drinks as well as dining. we had the Mountaintown onion, which I do not suggest the Pork Morel entrée which I highly suggest and for dessert we had the gluten-free blackberry cobbler with ice cream. Four drinks he selected for me the Real yard raspberry witches absolutely amazing and the notorious F. I. G. Both I highly recommend.

Sydney was our waitress. She was so extremely friendly AND professional. We had the best experience. My wife ordered the Prime Rib Dip. I ordered the Prime Rib dinner. The Brussel Sprouts were absolutely fantastic. I literally can't "Bob Ross" the words to fully express the Brussel Sprouts. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned but kept their original green fresh look!! We both enjoyed our craft beers, IPA and a Bock. (Can't recall the names exactly) We will definitely be back and will 1000% recommend it to friends and family.

I had high hopes. We're new to the area & decided to try Mountain Town for my birthday dinner. We shared two appetizers - the Scotch eggs & the battered onion. Both were good and I appreciate how the egg was pre-sliced for sharing. I ordered the pork morel. It has a wonderful flavor, unfortunately I don't think the mushrooms were properly cleaned leaving the dish very gritty & unenjoyable. My husband had the fish & chips which were fine, nothing spectacular but nothing bad to report. We each had one of the branded beers - stout for him, barrel aged red ale for me. We enjoyed them both. Service was just ok - great initially then we had to chase down the check after our main dishes were dropped off. Overall not impressive enough for the drive back (over 30 min).

Picture of our $30 Salmon Dinner, as presented, hadn't touched it when we got it from our waitress, who, as a human, was very nice. But literally how does this garbage even leave the kitchen. She was embarrassed. We were embarrassed for her. But no worries we will never ever go back.

We had a most enjoyable dinner experience with Tyler last night after driving up from home in our motorhome. The Mountain Town Station is a fantastic Harvest Host destination with the ease of parking for any size rigs and the service, food and atmosphere of the restaurant made it instantly one of our favorite stops. Add in the best value for a dinner meal we’ve seen in a long time and this place easily earns its 5 stars.

I didn’t catch my server’s name but she had a bob, was really nice and her service made the experience pleasant! I took off 1 star only because my lobster ravioli tasted sooooo fishy and spoiled after the first bite that I had to send it back— which I never do. I love seafood and have had many cooked and raw seafood dishes before, by far the worst I’ve had. I was literally gagging after the first bite and felt extremely sick when I got home. Drinks were tasty, especially the espresso martini and I really enjoyed the lemon parmesan arancini!

I've been here twice in the past two years and had a great experience both times! Some may complain about the prices, but in my opinion it is well worth the quality of ingredients and uniqueness of the menu. We went for our anniversary and I called ahead to ensure that the kitchen was willing to accommodate my fish and seafood allergy. The manager, Jarin, was professional and understanding. At dinner, he stopped by the table several times and communicated with the kitchen. I had the Cherry Duck and my husband had the Espresso rubbed steak. Both dishes were incredible. We also had the deviled eggs as an app and the relish on top made the whole dish. I went again with some friends and we all enjoyed the seasonal cocktail selections. Again the staff handled my allergy extremely well. I had the Basil Cappelini with chicken and it was fresh and flavorful.
Kailyn A — Google review
The place was really cool, atmosphere and vibe was great, the server was good, did not ask how food was at the end, might be a reason for that. I want to give this place 5 start because their flavors were spot on and the drinks were great but the portion sizes and some cooking quakity did not match the prices at all. We ordered 3 apps for just 2 ladies (something we very commonly do and can get full) I have no complaints about the oysters. The crabcakes were really tasty but picture smaller than a regular sized marshmallow and only 3 of them, the pickles on top were larger than the cake, but a nice touch. The brusselsprouts had amazing flavor but we didn't find a single heart in there, it was just the fallen off bits and they were so over cooked they just fell apart in your mouth it was quite dissapointing. Would not order food there again on the basis of the price not matching what you're given. Would go for drinks though.

Los Palominos is a delightful destination for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The attentive staff enhances the dining experience, ensuring that every visit feels special. Many patrons rave about the delicious food and vibrant flavors, particularly highlighting favorites like the house-made hot salsa and taco specials.
I came to leave a 5 star review after having a 5 star experience at Los Palominos. I was shocked to see the amount of 1 star reviews. I ordered three birria tacos, a water, and a frozen margarita. Everything was DELICIOUS! I haven’t stopped thinking about this meal. All food, drinks, and appetizers were brought out in a timely manner. Our waitress was incredibly friendly. I can’t wait to go back!

Got a shredded chicken burrito and the chicken was dry and completely unseasoned!! First time I have ever had unseasoned chicken from a restaurant.. They also just pile lettuce on top of the burrito to hide the very small size of it, for $15, I expected a much larger burrito... Kind of sad when you spend $60 on dinner and everyone is still hungry and you have to go buy even more food! Also had to ask for refills, not sure why when there was only 2 other tables with people.

This was my second attempt at this restaurant. There won’t be a third. I ordered a combination plate with a Chile Relleno, taco + rice/beans. Plate came out hot, food was not. The taco was chicken and that was the only thing I ate, it had decent flavor. The pepper was burnt but super rubbery, could hardly cut with a knife. When the waitress came back, I did tell her about the food, and she offered me something else, which I declined because at that point we were almost ready to go. My mother + aunt had enchiladas, that didn’t have any cheese and their rice and beans were also cold. I’ve never seen enchiladas with no cheese. My grandma ate her tostada, which you can’t really mess that up. This place is definitely not authentic. The manager was very rude and unprofessional, which was not necessary.
Tania G — Google review
The restaurant is a store front in a small strip mall. Our visit was about 3:00 on a Saturday. The portion size on the burrito was smaller than burritos I've enjoyed at other establishments for the price. The pile of lettuce on top covered up the size in the photos. Missing was a shredded beef or pork options, they do have grilled steak & chicken. The menu was good sized with ala cart options. They did have complimentary chips and salsa. We also had a couple of tired small children with us, and I felt the music was literally turned up to drown them out. At the time of our visit, maybe 3- 5 tables total were occupied in the restaurant. The food came out quickly. We had to ask for a water refill. Especially in a Mexican restaurant where food can be spicier, you shouldn't have to ask for a drink refill. Bring a pitcher of water & just fill the empty glass. It's just water! This is a pet peeve of mine, especially if you pay $3-$4.00 for a soda and you run out of beverage during your meal and the waitress doesn't come back. ESPECIALLY if the waitress only has 2 or 3 tables. When I paid the bill, the hostess was more interested in her cell phone. Handed me the receipt with her head still in her phone, not even looking up. Not the customer service experience I enjoy. At least engage with the customer for the couple minutes it takes to cash them out. Will we go back ..no

All Mexican Restaurants are different and claim to be authentic. This one was close and that is the reason for the 4 stars but my whole experience should have rated it lower. After waiting too long to be seated it just seemed like we were treated like one of those guests that come in too late and they would rather go home. Waitress was cold and place was dark. My wife has to use her phone to read the menu. The restaurant seemed clean and it had some business. The margaritas were strong and too sour for our taste and it took a long time to get our order. Just an over all vibe they were not happy for our business The food finally arrived and I was a little let down on the quantity as my burrito was small. The taste was authentic but not that “wow” taste I was hoping for as Mexican food is my favorite. I was not let down as it did have a good flavor and worth eating. I was let down as the waitress could have offered us another Margarita but failed to do that or even ask us if we wished for desert. A word of advise to your business is up sell... teach your waitress this gets there tip bigger and your sales higher... I probably would have had another. So 4 stars which is good in my book for the food

I've had to orders of Enchiladas not 1 order had cheese in the Enchiladas. I told server she says I can bring you a cup of shredded cheese. Wtheck why would I want shredded cheese?. The cheese needs to be melted with the making of the Enchiladas. They were so disgusting!!! Then the blonde manager was being very rude and that was uncalled for. I'm Mexican and I have NEVER had Enchiladas taste so disgusting!!! I won't be back!!!

The restaurant had very friendly staff..food was horrible..lacked flavor.. they brought out a plate that was covered in beans , rice ..and a huge pile lettuce.. I thought a salad... but to my surprise it was a small burrito.. the food had no flavor. The meat i questioned if it was beef. But it tasted like it had set in the refrigerator for days then was reheated..I won't waste my money on again. My partner in crime and I didn't eat very much we both were very grossed out by the flavor of the meat ..

Menudo I ordered to go was old dark and meat was very chewy and blackened. Terrible meat and no hominy. Never go there again and I used to go there often. Whats wrong is that I asked the server if the menudo was fresh and he didn’t know. My loss.

My husband and I went out for a date night and we had a wonderful server! I couldn't decide what i wanted and she was very nice and accommodating. Food was great and we had fun 😊 bathrooms were kinda gross unfortunately.

Food was ok, waitress was ok... The smell of their bathrooms was so bad I nearly threw up. I've spent my career working in nursing homes. I can handle Smells... This was so bad it's indescribable. I've never smelled anything THAT BAD. Don't bother offering coupons, we will Never return.

The restaurant was packed when we arrived however, we got a table very timely. Our server Isabella was super busy but also very attentive! The manager Annie came over multiple times to make sure everything was going and tasting good. The food was great as always. Our favorite spot to have breakfast on Sundays!

I recently enjoyed dinner at IHOP and was fortunate to be served by Saga. I want to take a moment not just to share a positive experience—but to highlight why Saga is someone management should deeply appreciate and value. From the moment I walked in, Saga made me feel welcome and comfortable. She was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive throughout the meal. Her service was seamless—anticipating needs before I could even ask, offering thoughtful menu suggestions, and maintaining the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. What impressed me most was how effortlessly she created a positive, personalized experience for every guest. That kind of emotional intelligence and customer care is rare, and it’s what turns a casual dinner into a reason to return. Saga doesn’t just do her job—she elevates the guest experience. She represents IHOP with pride and heart, and it shows. If there’s any recognition, incentive, or leadership opportunity available within your team, I genuinely hope Saga is considered. She absolutely deserves it. Thank you, IHOP, for having someone like her on your team.

First when you walk in the smell of sewer is so strong, and it's been that way every 2 times I've come in. Second there is not a sign that states you must pay at your table, when I walked up to the cash register, or what I thought it was the cash register, the waitER asked me if I was walking out on my bill. I got in my car and thought about it and remembered I automatically tipped him, I shouldn't of. Insulted customer at mt.pleasant ihop.

Ordinarily I enjoy IHOP and enjoy eating at this location however this time we got the worst server ever....she was just an angry person that ignored the customers as if you're not sitting there why a Florida salt water croc 🐊 has more personality that that fired up cow chip...please know that the restaurant is great and food is phenomenal just hope you don't get that horrible server

It was packed after a concert and they still got us seated fairly quickly. The waitress got to us in a timely manner and our food came in a reasonable amount of time. Very good service. The food was ok. I had an omelet. I didnt care for the beef chunks in it, it was still edible, just not a favorite

American restaurant
Bennigan's is a casual dining chain known for its classic American pub fare, including burgers and appetizers. The restaurant offers a low-key setting with friendly service. Customers have praised the delicious food options such as the mix and match trio sampler, BBQ Burger, Monte Cristo, and chicken tenders. The menu also includes a variety of sides like hand-battered onion rings, side salad with multiple dressing options, and house fries.
First time going here on 4th of July weekend, and this place was wonderful! Our waitress's name was dawn, and she had a very positive attitude! The decorations were beautiful, and they even had a vase of flowers in the girl's bathroom! We ordered a mix and match trio sampler, about 4 pieces each, broccoli cheese bites, cheesy potato skins, and mangia mozzarella. OH MY GOODNESS, they were absolutely delicious. The mangia mozzarella stretched almost 2 feet even after cooling! 😅 I also got a Cobb salad, which was so much I had a full plate of leftovers the next day. The other 3 people who were with me got onion rings with a burger and WoW they were BIG!! Overall, I highly recommend going to this place either to have a delicious meal or have a drink with friends. 😊

No longer a Bennigan's. But the menu is almost the same. The food is good, and I really appreciate how you can get a veggie burger patty for any of the menu burgers. They gave us sooooo many fries with our meals, like almost too many. The Monte Cristo is a delicious and artery clogging treat if you are looking to celebrate. The wait staff is mostly college students, so they are hot-to-go handsome/pretty, but relatively inexperienced. The drinks are fairly expensive, and the food is about the average price, but the portions are sizable.

Service was great! That's the 5 stars. Hadn't been back in town in over 5 years. It's definitely more generic restaurant feeling with tables and booth styles and no more walls of the dark wood that made it feel like a Irish pub. All one large open room. Appetizer of the broccoli cheese bites were great. Fiance didn't love the burger same with my chicken entree but we're okay.

I had a really hard time deciding which stars to give to each category. because I don't know if our experience fell under any of them. honestly. The food was good. the service was fantastic. our waitress was great. the atmosphere was really none quiet, boring blah. He didn't order anything fancy. some soups salad, a burger and some pasta and it took the chefs 50 minutes to bring anything out so the waitress could bring it to us. And it didn't even all come at once. three bowls of soup and one salad came out while two others had nothing in front of them. And that took another 15 minutes to get pasta and a burger and another bowl of soup. One of the kids soup was potato soup and it got cold so fast. it was like only the top of it was warm. I don't know they need to do something because there was probably maybe 10 people in the place. And the waitress did say oh we had an 18 top come in right before you. that's no excuse to me. You're the chef. you know that you have orders coming in just by looking at the size of your restaurant. you expect to have large parties and tables full. You also should be able to manage the orders and time so that people don't have to wait an hour for something as simple as a hamburger or some pasta. especially for the soups because you know that they're already warmed up sitting Just waiting to be served. And the fact that it got cold just shows me that it was probably sitting out in a bowl waiting to be served for a minute or two before it was even brought to us. if you're going to eat here just make sure you got a couple hour block going on for yourself to be free because an hour that's going to be waiting just to get the food that you took a half hour to order.

The service was good! The food not so much! Two nights ago I had the fish. It came out burnt. No worries they made me two new pieces. It was saturated with grease. Brushed that off. Tonight I thought I would give them a second chance. I had the club sandwich and it literally had ONE piece of ham. Come on BENNIGAN'S it's not 2020 anymore. My server Keagon was good. The manager Carrie on the other hand not so good at her job. Sorry not sorry.

We stopped in for lunch after my daughter's soccer game. We were seated and felt that we were comfortably socially distanced from others and felt comfortable throughout our entire dining experience. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, but to us it seemed she should have check back on us a little more often, as drinks sat needed refills at times and after finishing eating we waited to ask for boxes and our bill. Not a huge issue, but one strike for not giving five stars. Our food was fantastic! You can't go wrong with the Monte Cristo at Bennigan's. Our sandwiches were perfect, the fries were crispy and delicious and my wife's soup was hot and good. Great job Bennigan's! The food is reasonably priced and not out of line with similar restaurants. The bill for the three of us was just over $42. The only other issue was when we arrived. The hostess was having a conversation with a customer who was leaving. It was obviously someone that she knew and the conversation went on for a few minutes after we walked in and stood there in the corner because the conversation was going on right in front of the door. Strike two for not giving five stars in my review.

The fish and chips were amazing. I love that jalapeño tarter sauce you make. The fries could have been crisper, but they were still good. My wife loved her Monte Cristo as always. We will be back again. Oh, the staff is amazing as well.
