Dodge City

Dodge City is in southwest Kansas. Boot Hill Museum celebrates the city's frontier past with a recreated Old West street, gunfight re-enactments and historic buildings, like the former Fort Dodge jail. Located at the Kansas Teachers Hall of Fame, the Gunfighters Wax Museum features life-size sculptures of legendary figures Wyatt Earp and Sitting Bull. The Home of Stone Museum retains its original 1881 furnishings.

Located in Dodge City, Kansas, the Boot Hill Museum is a captivating re-creation of the early frontier town. The museum offers an immersive experience with gunfight reenactments, a saloon, variety shows, and a general store. Situated on the original site of Boot Hill Cemetery, the museum showcases artifacts and exhibits that depict the storied history of Dodge City during its Wild West days. Visitors can explore interactive displays and over 60,000 artifacts from the era.
This is a very fun and entertaining place to visit, do yourself a favor buy the ticket for the show and dinner. Get there at least an hour and a half to two hours before the show that way you have enough time to enjoy the museum.. There are a lot of sites to see here and you need to give yourself time. The reenactment was fun to see and the show will make you laugh.

A change of plans almost kept us from stopping in, but we are so glad we did! The Boot Hill Museum is am amazing time capsule! It gathers an impressive collection of historical items that portray the historical significance of Dodge City. We made the most out of the hour or so we toured the museum and were very impressed by it. We only wish we had more time to take it all in. I can only imagine how amazing their live shows are!

Oh my God!!! This place is a must see place to experience and educate yourself on the Wild West!!!! I can’t recall one of the employee’s name, but she gave me knowledge of the places and nearby attractions in the area. The museum was shutting down for the evening on August 28th. But, she let me and my husband to see Ms. Kitty’s attire and admire it for a couple of minutes!!! We really appreciated that brief moment!!! Thank you!!!! When we went back the next day, it was an amazing journey of the 1800s and life in Dodge City. The artifacts collected over the years were definitely a priceless treasure!!!!! The gunfight skit was outstanding!! The gunfighters…..WOW!!!! They autographed me an 8x10 photo of the whole crew. They even took a picture with me. This particular gem and their deserve more than 5 stars. I live in Nebraska and I’m giving all of you a shout out!!! Anyone who makes plans to visit Dodge City, you have to make an unforgettable experience right here at the Boot Hill Museum!!! It will make you feel like you’re living in the moment of the Wild West!!!❤️ And thank you for making our family vacation special and worth coming back next year!!!

Living in the Wild Wild West! If you’re in the area for Dodge City and Boot Hill this is a must see attraction! So much history in a relatively small area. Legends such as Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, and many others made their presence felt here. The museum did a great job capturing this time era. Plan on staying for about a good hour to hour and a half to read and enjoy all the exhibits.

You can tell there's been a lot of effort put into the displays to bring history back to life and help the younger generations connect with what it was like living in the wild west. Their reconstruction of the boardwalk in downtown Dodge City of the Old West is fantastic! They offer a variety show with dinner most nights at 7pm featuring some talented folks as well as a gunfight at 6:30pm.

This place is an enjoyable experience for people of all ages. They have a lovely gift shop, and several bathrooms throughout the area. It is an open-ended tour, so you decide where to go at your own pace. Tickets stop selling at 5pm. Nobody new can enter, but you have until 7 to explore if you entered before 5. The saloon was great, Karen was absolutely lovely and showed my aunt and I how to do the "cancan" - and while we danced terribly, it was fun, and my aunt will not stop talking about how good the experience was. Karen was very kind and helpful, more than willing to help take photos. We spent probably 30 minutes just in there drinking our root beer and chatting with her. Highly recommend this building! A few places are closed for renovations, but there is a lot to explore and many places you can sit and rest. The environment is great and quite peaceful.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Boot Hill Museum. The place is huge with a museum, gift shop, boot hill cemetery and recreation of an old west town. The staff are great. Many dress in period costume and are friendly and very knowledgeable. A grand spot to visit to get a feel for the area.

Excellent museum of Dodge City. It has an exhibit honoring Gunsmoke, the TV western kids watched in the 60's. I was amazed at how much history was behind the show. It is a fun and informative museum. Everyone of all ages can enjoy this interactive museum.

Distillery
Historical landmark
Boot Hill Distillery, situated in Dodge City, Kansas, is a small-batch craft distillery located on the original Boot Hill Cemetery site. Housed in the historic Municipal Building from 1929, it offers a tasting room with a rich history and features a fully-stocked Brunswick Bar and comfortable seating.
We shared an incredible offsite tasting with a couple of gentlemen from Boot Hill. Derrick did our tasting and was incredibly knowledgeable. We learned so much about the town and the brand and were very impressed. This was Our first time being exposed to their products and will absolutely be customers going forward. Great whiskey and exceptional staff.

What a wonderful afternoon. The bartenders were awesome. Had some samples of the bourbons so I could make the best decision on what to buy. Merch was great. Did wish they had “normal” sizes in the grey polos. Great vibe to the bar. Dropped some $ there for good, local adult beverages. Will be back when in the area. Support local! Great place.
LAURA H — Google review
The distillery itself is impressive and the spirits are fantastic. On top of that, the bartenders were awesome. I had a flight and was impressed at the variety. I was lucky enough to have had a wine barrel aged vodka in my "experimental" space and it was better than I would have expected. I didn't ask what it was before trying and I'm sure I wouldn't have guessed that.
Robert K — Google review
Wry cool place with some history. The service was good and the drinks were spot on. We weren’t able to do the tour but we did do the flight, not bad. Worth the stop if in the area for sure

Totally worth a stop and a tasting... young whiskey, but enjoyed it...Great folks, too... and soil to sip supply chain.
Todd S — Google review
What a great place!!! Lots of history involved in their spirits! The men working the bar were not only knowledgeable but were extremely passionate regarding their products. We tried the prickly ash bitters (loved it), white whiskey, and then had an amor y amora cocktail (so very delicious). We purchased bottles of the lavender bitters, prickly ash bitters, and moonshine to take back to Colorado with us. The location of the distillery is right on top of the original Boot Hill cemetery (bodies moved to new cemetery). The atmosphere is very modern, comfortable and fun. They have games to play, you can tour the facility, and it’s very clean. We were stoked to find out they distribute to Colorado. We just have to go to their Facebook page to find all locations they distribute to. I definitely recommend this place!
Portia D — Google review
We were in town for one evening and decided to stop in to check it out. Everything was amazing! The whiskey is some of the best we have had, the cocktails are made spot on. They had live music on a well decorated patio as well as a Mexican food truck. Our bartender Stephanie recommended the wings. We thought she was crazy because Mexican and wings don’t go together. Well, we gave them a try and they were amazing. On the larger side, perfect fried and several flavors to choose from. If you are passing through town, definitely stop by and ask for Stephanie and try an Old Fashioned!

Great experience at a great distillery. I showed up while driving through on a road trip for work. The place was closed for tasting and tours but had a number listed for bottle sales. Called the number and they said someone would be down to open up. I was able to enjoy some great discussion about their business while tasting some of their bottles. Left with some bottles and swag and an overall great time. Will return and will recommend.

Water park
Park
Long Branch Lagoon is a family-friendly waterpark with a western theme, offering 27,000 square feet of aquatic fun. It features four themed pools with attractions such as slides, diving areas, a rock wall, and a lazy river called Cowboy Creek. The park also includes the Wrangler Rapids wave pool and a competition-sized lap pool. For younger visitors, there's the shallow Fort Splash area designed for children.
Lots of fun. Clean restrooms and locker rooms. The staff was always on the move watching for the safety of the patrons. Chicken strips and fries were excellent.
Ted H — Google review
Fun /good time for all ages. My dad and youngest who are scared of water loved it as well. I wanna go back as do my kids. It was 2021 when we did this ages of the family ranged 6 to 65. It's a place to go and have a fun day.
Brooke D — Google review
Here twice now when passing through Dodge City. The first time we discovered this place I absolute accident kids really enjoyed it. That was in 2020 when we were on an out west road trip and I pulled over to take a phone call for work. We were recently on another trip out west and made it a point to stop and Dodge City and visit this water park. We spent the entire day on a Sunday there and the water park was clean, well staffed, and very enjoyable. I only wish this was closer to home and we would go all the time. I am also surprised at how affordable entry was as well as their snack and concessions. Highly recommend.

We were here at the end of July, Dodge City Days, showed up just flatter opening. $4 for kids, $6 for adults, plenty of loungers but all the shade was already taken with stuff sitting on them, of course! Two main slides were great, with little to no wait, and they empty to a choice of re-entering the line or just floating out onto the lazy river. Tubes are free and plentiful, just grab one. The lazy river is nice, you can float around and probably see your kids fairly often. It even goes through the wave pool, which is fun (the waves are really just swells at that area), and there are waterfalls (with bypasses if you really don't want to be near them). It was clean, lots of lifeguards on a frequent rotation keeping good watch. the water was pleasant, not cold at all, but great on a hot day. Once the clouds came over it was perfect. Hospitality was great, my son had a bloody nose for some reason and they took a full incident report when my wife just asked for tissues, checked for anything needing to be cleaned, and got him something to drink. All we asked for was tissues! Even the people were decent. No one causing problems or being rude, even in the lazy river I could relax and not get run into by kids all the time (or at all in this case). Highly recommended!
James A — Google review
This place was fantastic. It was clean and well taken care of had a blast tons of different things to enjoy and staff were very friendly and for only 6 dollars it is now my favorite pool to go to .
Raedean A — Google review
Our new favorite waterpark! Super fun! This place has pretty good variety with two tall, fast tube slides, deep end slides, diving boards, swimming lanes, big open swimming pool, lazy river, wave pool, kiddie area with slide etc. I love the fast, wide slide that will fit 3 people across and drops you off into a to 4 feet of water. Its worth the money but is more expensive than some. We drive over an hour to get here and mostly because they stay open later til 7pm, that's a giant perk.
Jesse T — Google review
I love that smaller kids can ride the water slides with a bigger person! There was a shortage of tubes at the peak hours, but we still were able to get one after a small wait. The lack of a drinking fountain is a bummer. At 4 they kicked everyone out of the pools for a “safety” break, but really it was just to sell more concessions. They also charge a $10 concession fee if you bring in outside food or a cooler. The lazy river was a favorite. They also have a smaller kids play structure, high dive, diving board, family slide, two water slides, two more short steep slides, a mini wave pool, a small climbing wall and a big pool. We had a blast and might stop back by again!

Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Wright Park Zoo, established in 1926, is a compact yet charming zoo located in Dodge City. Initially home to two African lions, the zoo has since expanded to house approximately 126 animals from around 30 different species representing various continents. Despite its small size, the zoo attracts around 60,000 visitors annually and offers free admission. Visitors can enjoy observing the animals in their enclosures and even catch them during their active moments.
So cool to see and can’t believe it’s free!! The tiger was very shy but came out eventually you just have to be quiet. The raccoon is old but was adorable I love raccoons!! The sloth is slow of course but I didn’t realize how smart they can be was impressed to see it cover itself with a blanket. Super cute. Definitely recommend taking a trip to see!
Ashton U — Google review
It’s free and we had a great time. It isn’t a giant zoo, but they do have informational signs about the animals. There was an albino peacock in the aviary! We spent a couple hours here, most other people spent an hour. Free parking. The park has a playground for the kids.
Chris B — Google review
We showed up when they opened on sunday. This little zoo was awesome. Free of charge and the people there feeding the animals very nice and informative. The animals were great and i suggest that you go meet Elvis.
Anthony M — Google review
Pretty neat little free place. Was hoping to see the tiger. Learned about vitamin deficiency when you feed duck's and geese bread. Its called angel wing disease. I'm missing the red fox and pond birds.
Tonya W — Google review
Nice to drive threw, and stop at each spot and walk around. Very nice play ground for the kids also.
Kyle S — Google review
Fantastic little zoo right in the middle of the park. Great stop and play area for kids, even in the winter. Admission is free, but donations are accepted and definitely worth it. Located down the street from the Boot Hill Museum and close to other attractions.
Shay H — Google review
For a free zoo, it's about what you would expect. It took me about 30 minutes to walk through and see everything. I wish the big cats (Cougar, Bobcats, and Tiger) and the Bear had more space as their enclosures seemed tiny, especially compared to the aviary, which is probably 2 or 3 times the size of the Cougar enclosure. Overall a nice place to kill some time but I would recommend coming in the mornings when it is cooler and more animals are active.
Hanaa E — Google review
Great for a free will donation zoo. A variety of animals for the size! We had a blast. You're a lot closers to them then a huge zoo.

Interesting tour, very informative. We saw huge amount of livestock and were given lots of information about the area. The 1.5 hours did feel a little bit long and the seats were a bit uncomfortable. Guide was great, friendly.

John our driver was awesome, street construction didn’t allow us to all places but what he showed us was great.

Cross is up the hill along the road. The site is nothing fancy. You pull into a dirt lot to park then walk up a mowed path to the cross. When Coronado crossed the Arkansas River in the area he stopped and celebrated Catholic Mass. The cross celebrates the first Eucharist mass west of the Mississippi. That is really cool
Tim C — Google review
This trolley takes you around the area as an audio track gives information. The driver was great and he added more info about the area, plus he stopped and let us get pictures out the door at several spots. They go to the feed lots, which are smelly but crazy to see. The tour also includes Ft. Dodge and Boot Hill. You can’t get off the trolley anywhere, but it is a great way to learn about the area before you explore.
Chris B — Google review
Must make reservations. The 130 service was sold 45m before it started. We had read the 20pg brochure on line ahead of time. We used local maps provides to do a walking tour around area. Found both sundials nearby. Area was not busy from a traffic and parking standpoint. Saw various landmarks on walking tour. See pics for samples. Did not get to ride trolley. Am sure the trolley is worth it.

Steak house
Prime on the Nine is an elegant establishment situated within Mariah Hills golf course, offering delectable hand-carved meats and fresh seafood. This sophisticated bar and grill provide a refined dining experience with an array of options to choose from, such as succulent steak cuts, crisp salads, juicy burgers, and hearty sandwiches.
My wife and I dined at Prime on the 9 for an early anniversary celebration, and overall, it was a memorable evening. We had a 5:45 PM reservation and were seated right on time. I ordered the Wagyu Denver steak with mushrooms and roasted garlic rosemary potatoes, while my wife chose the cordon bleu with mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, my initial steak was unexpectedly tough—so much so that I couldn’t even chew the first few pieces, and one piece couldn’t even be pierced with a fork. At my wife’s suggestion, I politely asked the waiter to try stabbing into it himself, which he did without hesitation. About 12 minutes later, a new steak arrived—and what a difference. It was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. It was one of those dishes you find yourself thinking about an hour later. Absolutely worth the wait. My wife’s cordon bleu and mashed potatoes were excellent—perfectly prepared and generously portioned. The mushrooms were fresh and savory, and while I expected mashed potatoes with my meal, the roasted garlic and rosemary potatoes came out as wedges. That small surprise aside, everything tasted great. The ambiance was just right: clean, orderly, and calm despite a couple of large groups nearby, including a birthday party. I appreciated seeing the management keeping a watchful eye, making sure everything ran smoothly. This experience was very much in line with our previous visit when I enjoyed the grilled salmon. We’ll definitely be returning.
Kelly K — Google review
On the golf course with nice views. The steak was very good but needed more seasoning. The salad was served with Feta, but no Italian dressing. The sides were large and sharable. Our server was also the bar tender, but he was always checking on us. The bathroom was clean. The parking lot was full because golfers were still playing. They do not serve bread.
Cori H — Google review
Hands down the best restaurant in SW Kansas. Wish there was something like it in Garden City also, but nothing compares. Definitely worth the drive no matter where you live. Amazing service and amazing food, it's great for a special occasion or just for a lovely lunch. We always look forward to our visits.

Absolutely wonderful! This restaurant came highly recommended and the rave reviews were absolutely on point. Very friendly and professional staff, clean and warm atmosphere and delicious food. I ordered the pineapple chicken- probably the best chicken I've ever had with tons of flavor (looked better before I cut it up-ha!). I would come back any day.

We love dining here. First, we are always treated well with warm, welcoming smiles and amazing service. Everyone is so genuine and truly seem vested in making sure we have a good experience here. Second, the food is top-tier. There is obvious care put into making sure the dishes not only taste good but that the quality is consistent every time. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We’ve been fortunate to eat at some great restaurants all over the world, and we are grateful to have one of the top ones here in our own home town.

The Brooks hotel is a living legend in the morning. They have a fantastic breakfast right there in the building. When I first stayed there the room was so luxurious and widespread. It took me moments to walk from one end to the other. It was quite a distance and room 333 and 334. I recommend you checking out at the Brooks hotel in Wallace, Idaho and the gals that run this show. There are fantastic. I'll be coming back there again next time I'm in Idaho and Wallace. I will definitely stay at the Brooks hotel. The best hotel in Idaho

American restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Dodge City, Casey's Cowtown Club is a charming eatery that captures the essence of classic American dining. Established by Mike Casey in 1996, this restaurant has become a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike, renowned for its locally sourced Kansas beef steaks. The menu features an array of hearty options including juicy burgers and delightful Sunday brunch offerings.
Whenever I come into a town where I don't know the restaurants, i like to ask some locals what the best place to eat is. Tonight, I was recommended Casey's from one of the local antique shops. Thanks to them, we had a fabulous dinner after giving them a try. I had the ribeye, and it was honestly one of the best steaks out I have had in a long time. I have eaten out a lot over the years traveling for work and vacations. I am not exaggerating about how good this steak was. Cooked perfectly to medium rare. My wife had the honey mustard grilled chicken sandwhich on sourdough bread, and she loved it. The old stained glass used within the decorating was a great touch. Some people do not appreciate the history behind the stained glass and frames that were within old churches of yesteryear. Loved getting to see it. Lastly, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed having Vanessa as our waitress. She was very personal and attentive. It was great to see someone take pride in what they are doing. Thank you to the establishment at Casey's Cowtown for a great dinner in Dodge City, KS. Highly recommended and would definitely stop in again if ever this way.
Don H — Google review
This place is GAS. Came here with a crew of 14 people and we were so happy with how the food turned out. Freakin loved it. Staff are friendly, and the combo of Mexican food and steakhouse is so unheard of, but a threatening pairing to any restaurant within a 100 mile radius.
Mason B — Google review
We immediately got a nice seating area. The drinks we ordered were served very quickly. The salad that came with the dish was also served very quickly. The salad was very fresh and excellently seasoned. The steak was not overly seasoned, very hot, grilled perfectly to the point tasted extremely good. All in all a dream of steak and ambience
Jörg W — Google review
Seated right away. Food came quickly. Other patrons were forgotten ... one table of diners in our room came up to us after 15 min and asked "what did you have to do to be served?" Steak and salmon was very good Corn (the vegetable served) was very poor. Baked potato was small but ok. Bun was horrible! Microwaved so it was warm when it first arrived then shriveled to an inedible patty. Waitress never came by for additional drinks Waited a very long time for the cheque. No one acknowledged us when we left, eye contact or a 'bye' or anything I miss the days when the owner used to greet you and wish you a good evening. Really did not like the "police interrogation spotlight" lighting over the tables (too bright to eat by). Horrible lighting for a restaurant. It wasn't a terrible dining experience but fixing the awful lighting, training better (more engaged, knowledgeable, on the ball) service and stopping whatever awful thing they did to the corn (boiled all day and oversalted?) and buns (ugh) 8and it would be great again.

We found this cool little spot while stopping through Dodge City for the night. After nine hours of driving, and little sustenance, this hit the spot. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the owner, Mike Casey who showed nothing but midwest hospitality. He even gave us a few history lessons on the area and recommended places to explore. The food was delicious and my daughter said her corn dog was the BEST EVER! I really enjoyed my French dip and fresh horseradish. My husband loved his steak and shrimp. The service was prompt and polite. I only gave four stars because they didn’t have milk for our kids (only on Sunday’s), and their beer selection was a bit sparse. Besides that, this is a very cool local joint with lots to look at by way of decoration as you eat your meal. I’d go back if I came to Dodge City again.
B W — Google review
I would not recommend this place. The food was okay but I ordered a salad, a SALAD, and I got my food last. Plus the waiter messed up the girl's order next to me, and the soda was disgusting, it was just water. The bathrooms are also kind of rundown and creepy, one of the lights was out, the wallpaper was pealing off, and there were no doors to the stalls. Plus out waitress seemed like she was having a bad day which is fine, but she was not very kind at all, almost kind of sassy. The food was also priced higher than what it was worth, the only good thing about this place is the burgers and the decorations.
Olivia K — Google review
We arrived here because my cousin invited me to have a good steak. Btw he is the chef. So we grab a plate I don't remember the name but it looked like nuggets but it's not. Anyway it was delicious. This place receives a lot of famous people and definitely you have to go there and have a steak medium term, not well done ok, just remember that. And gran a pint of guiness!!!!
Mely T — Google review
Felt like a steak and (what do you know) Dodge city has plenty of steak restaurants. Decided on Casey's Cowtown bc it looked like a fun relaxing atmosphere. If you want a fancy steakhouse this place isn't the one. But if you want good comfort food, this is the place. Nothing fancy, just good food. I ordered the 14oz Ribeye (medium) and it was cooked to perfection. The small dinner salad probably came out of a bag, like at the grocery store. But all I ask in a salad is that it is cold, The salad was cold, so I have no complaints, it was good. Got a baked potato and again nothing fancy, they serve the baked potato with a 2oz sour cream packet on the side with a packet of butter spread. I have no complaints, came here for a good steak and that's what I got a very good steak cooked perfectly. The waiter, Carlos, was great.

Restaurant
Bar & grill
Central Station Bar & Grill is a rustic establishment that combines an American grill, sports bar, and country music club. It exudes a vintage charm with its down-home ambiance. In addition to the lively central station atmosphere, this restaurant offers a dance hall reminiscent of cowboy days, which stays open late into the night. Their slogan "something special for everyone" holds true as their extensive menu caters to various preferences.
It's a bar and grill with some pretty darn good barbecue. I like the fact that it's in an old train depot, and it's pretty quiet. TVs on the wall playing sports, but it's not obnoxiously athletic themed. Excellent rating on food, staff and atmosphere from me.
Jared B — Google review
Came here thinking is would be a good place to sit at the bar and have a quick steak. First off the bar stools are too lower to have dinner unless you like your table at shoulder height. I decided to have the ribeye medium rare. It’s funny on the menu the say they aren’t responsible for the quality if you order it well done. Well how about the rest of the time? I like a little dat for flavor but much of the ribeye was inedible from the fat and grizzle. I figured in Kansas I could get a decent steak for $32 but I was wrong. When I said something to the bartender it wasn’t even acknowledged. Guess that’s the meat the buy. I wouldn’t go back
Micheal F — Google review
I wasn't expecting this when we stopped on a road trip thru Dodge. Very cool place. Obviously train themed but they way under play that they have a full sized train dining car inside and a box car was used to make restrooms. Go wandering in this place. All kinds of cool stufc

I love this place! Our work crew tried this restaurant for lunch one day and we have been back nearly every day since. So many menu options, food is fantastic and the prices are unbeatable. The staff is very friendly and attentive as well.

Where to begin? Sometimes when you read negative reviews, it can come across as nitpicking. I have written many reviews and have given very few -ones, but I have to. I will start with the waitress. She was clearly new and inexperienced. She brought out the ice tea. I ordered quickly and made a fresh pot of coffee for my mother. I didn’t care for the iced tea so I asked her for a glass of water. 10 minutes later I still did not have the water. I looked around and the manager saw me looking and came over and asked me what was wrong and went and got me the water. Be food was subpar. The bread was cold, the steaks were tough, and the potato was dry. My mother’s sweet potato fries were burnt for the same price the meal at a restaurant, such as Coltons steakhouse or Texas roadhouse is far superior.

I recently visited Central Station Bar & Grill, and I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is lively yet laid-back, with a perfect balance of comfort and energy. The interior has a rustic charm, with plenty of seating options, whether you're looking to relax at the bar or enjoy a meal with friends. The outdoor patio is also a great spot for enjoying a drink on a nice day. The food at Central Station is top-notch. I started with the fried pickle spears, which were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and served with a tangy dipping sauce that was absolutely delicious. For the main course, I ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The pork was tender and flavorful, piled high on a soft bun, and topped with a smoky barbecue sauce that added the perfect balance of sweetness and heat. I also tried their loaded fries, which were topped with melted cheese, bacon, and ranch—an irresistible treat. The service was exceptional. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were also fantastic—great selection of craft beers and cocktails. Overall, Central Station Bar & Grill offers fantastic food, great drinks, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. It’s definitely a place I’ll be returning to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great time and delicious meal!

Food was good. Server was very sweet, attentive and greeted us with the biggest smile! I did not like the manager. We sat in the west end and our server did a very great job everything was good until we noticed she had came back here crying. We asked if she was okay and she explained to us how she had been working there for years and still feels like management is really disrespectful towards not only her but all of their employees. She explained how her manager was upset that another server volunteered to take the last table since our server is pregnant and was in physical pain. Although the food was good, I will not continue to support a business that is cruel towards the people who help them the most. Do better and treat your employees with kindness. It’s not hard.

Place has cool decor. Service was decent. Ordered the Porterhouse Steak. Hands down one of the worst steaks I have ever had. Half of it was inedible due to gristle and hard fat. Wife's ribeye was extremely dry and lacking flavor. Seems like it was grade D beef meant for prisons.

Christian was an AMAZING WAITER, VERY ATTENTIVE and helpful! The food was good pretty average for a buffet. Enjoyed the southwest flair on the eggs and the southern biscuits! The country decor definitely let you know that your in cattle country loved the gingerbread Christmas themed decor for the holiday! Hot coco was the highlight for the grandkids!!

This place is insanely under rated. Amazing owner and staff. Beautiful and clean. Great drink selection and decent prices. The food is delicious and quality of high end restaurants, Beautifully plated and consistent. Even the buffet was incredible. That's not even the best part. The most fun and personable bartenders. Insanely talented. This place is run with genuine care, love and passion. The live performances with the bartenders singing for us, which led to the owner, Manny, turning tf up on the drums while the male bartender, Danny covered classics while displaying such talent with the guitar. And the little lady behind the bar, Armelis, was and absolute delight, kept a smile on everyone's face, and my god her voice was incredible. More than just great food and possibly the best spot in dodge to have a drink, this place is an experience.

I recently dined at Dodge House Restaurant, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the charming, old-west vibe of the place made it feel like a step back in time, yet the service and food were anything but outdated. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The food at Dodge House is outstanding. I started with the fried chicken, and it was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside—truly one of the best I’ve ever had. For the main course, I ordered the prime rib, which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The sides, like the mashed potatoes and creamed corn, were equally delicious and served in generous portions. One thing that really stood out was their homemade pies. I couldn’t resist trying the apple pie, and it was divine—sweet, perfectly spiced, and served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It was the perfect way to end a fantastic meal. The service was impeccable. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. The timing of the meal was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Dodge House Restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is definitely a place you won’t want to miss. I can’t wait to return!

Great place to eat. Food was excellent!! Service was perfect. Our server recommended the Burrito Arabe and chicken fried steak. Both were very very good. French fries were like steak fries but very very thin. Excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, not great. It gets regulars because it's a little town hangout. We wouldn't go again. Buffet was really disappointing. Some french toast and pancakes were charred all the way black and still put out. Look at buffet before buying! Not worth it. We also ordered breakfasts off menu. Got wrong items on one and toast never showed up on other. We had to go ask for another waitress to help us, when ours never refilled coffees or brought requested missing items after 20 minutes. Wasn't good, very little flavors. Got this western omelet, with charred bacon pieces (see 3rd pic) too hard to chew. Pointed this out, No apologies were made. :( Just skip it!

Italian restaurant
Bella Italia Ristorante is a lively establishment that offers a variety of Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza, and grilled options. This family-friendly venue also has a special menu for children. Located in Dodge City, it adds to the town's dining scene. While opinions are divided about the restaurant, it is generally described as tasty, delicious, and excellent.
Enjoyed the food. Pizza was very hot and delicious! Salad was salad. Breadsticks were ok. Waitress was very helpful even with a little bit of a language barrier. Would go back.

The food was horrible. My child got food poisoning from the undercooked pizza and possibly old cheese. He started projectile vomiting not even 30 min after we left and had multiple bouts of upset stomach for roughly 2 full days after we ate here. Couldn't even keep water down. Definitely never going back. ( My bland pasta, too much sauce having pasta in the picture, with a glimpse of his pizza)

Food is homemade and servings are large and priced to be very affordable. Disco & Rap music spoiled my dining experience here. They need to understand that calm music is proper for meals. Everything else was terrific. The interior is decorated very nicely.

8-22-24 pm. Ordered chicken parmigiana. Was asked bread or salad. I questioned what type of bread i.e. white, rye, toast, french, garlic. The lady looked at me like she did not understand. This went back and forth for a few rounds. She motioned a gentleman to come for help. Same response from him. Finally they had me talk into his phone for translation. Choice was garlic bread sticks. (By the way I am from south Louisiana so maybe that was the problem?) The chicken was very crispy under the breading and hard to cut and chew. Server asked what problem was. I explained and asked for spaghetti and meatballs instead. She seemed confused so she called the guy over, explained all over again. Brought spaghetti and placed down and asked is it good. Said well I haven't tried it yet. Meatballs were luke warm and sauce watery. Will post pictures. Do not recommend these 2 dishes.

The Penne Bolognese was so greasy and had no flavor other than the grease. The pasta was cooked way past the point of al dente. It was falling apart. The meatballs I ordered to go with the pasta had to have been store bought. They were disgusting. Needless to say I got sick later that night. The health department needs to investigate holding temps and storage practices at this place. Nobody should eat there.

Had spaghetti w/meatballs, daughter had tortellini Alfredo hubby and daughter’s boyfriend had lasagna with a side of focaccia bread with Alfredo sauce for all. Everything was FANTASTIC!!!!! Very authentic Italian food. We were in Italy last April and this delicious meal took me right back! Highly recommend this place❣️❣️❣️❣️

First stepping in I was skeptical, but sitting down, I fell in love. The bread of its own had it's own flavor. The food amount was amazing, plenty of sauce. The server we had was respectful and kind. Always came with a smile. The decor was stunning, gave me a feeling I was in the old times. The real roses gave it the Italian romance. The prices were amazing, good amount of food for a small amount of money. We didn't have to wait long. We walked in, got set down and got our food immediately, no hour waiting for food. If I had to pick a restaurant to eat at for the rest of my life. I'd pick Bella Italia. I'd recommen everyone to give it a try. 5 stars from my heart

When you 1st walk in it seems really nice. Tables have fresh flowers and are decorated beautifully. After being seated you can see the Tables are not very clean. There is a weird smell also. We ordered sweet tea and there were grounds in it. The salads are plain and the ranch dressing tastes like the cheapest you can buy. The bread was like bread Stix you would get at a pizza hut or something. The Alfredo sauce is very delicious and the pasta was cooked well. However the chicken is the prepackaged Diced chicken not fresh.
