Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Non-profit organization
If you're looking for an unforgettable family outing, the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is a fantastic destination that promises fun and education for all ages. This airy facility showcases over 4,000 marine animals, including charming penguins and fascinating seahorses. Visitors can explore captivating exhibits like the thrilling shark tunnel and engage in hands-on experiences such as touching stingrays. The aquarium also features a state-of-the-art 4D theater that adds an extra layer of excitement to your visit.
We visited the aquarium for the ZAP day and it was completely worth it. It was very crowded but we hardly waited any time when coming in, and the was a great flow when checking the exhibitions. Coming from South America, we appreciated the South American exhibition and the variety of wildlife. The ocean side was stunning and we had a lot of fun seeing the penguins eat. This may not be the biggest of aquariums according to some, but we still spent around 3 hours enjoying all the things it had to offer. We even got to sit in the gazebos on the garden and enjoy nature.

The kids had an absolute blast, whether its for a field trip or just a day out and about its worth the trip! Seeing sharks, giant sea turtles, desert tortoise, seeing and touching stingrays and starfish is all such an absolute amazing adventure! Great learning opportunity for everyone, and I guarantee every time you go it will be slightly different. Play area currently under construction but it looks like it will be so nice once done! Great job keeping kids and adults interacted and learning on a daily!

We took the whole family to the lantern festival at the aquarium and it was so worth it!!! The displays were great with many picture worthy opportunities. We will definitely go back next year. It has a ton of lights and activities but is not too big where it could become overwhelming. Great for all ages!!!

The Aquarium Lantern Festival at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, Utah, promises a truly enchanting and memorable evening for all ages. Far more than an event for little children and young adults, it offers an experience the entire family will enjoy together. Visitors are greeted by a breathtaking display of larger-than-life illuminated lanterns—vividly colored and exquisitely shaped—featuring marine animals, plants, and other ocean-themed wonders. It is a delightful blend of art, light, and imagination that captures the curiosity of young minds and rekindles a sense of wonder in adults alike. Fully recommended.

The guys were like kids again..🤭😂they had too much fun🤩. This was our first time since moving to Utah. A beautiful place to visit. Lots of cool things to see… unfortunately, two of us got really sick after visiting the Aquarium. Other than that, we all loved it 😍 a very special time with your family. A must see!! Will we ever go again? Absolutely!

This aquarium was absolutely amazing. Each section was such a great experience. It's a really big place so there is a lot todo to keep your kids (and yourself) busy and entertained. Definitely worth it to go. You'll have lovely experience!

In November 2025, we visited the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, Utah. On Tuesday, November 11th, or Veterans Day, the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium offered free admission to Veterans and their families. The displays and exhibits are colorful and cleverly designed. Veterans were also given free admission to the Lantern Festival, which are lighted plant and animal displays. The Aquarium Lantern Festival is a must-see event, with all of the colorful and lighted displays. Thank you, Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, for treating Veterans and their families so well and providing such a fun and memorable experience.

We had a great time at the aquarium! Lots to see and learn with the kids. Very beautiful exhibits! Would recommend coming here. We spent about 2 hours here during our visit. We purchased our tickets ahead of time and it was super simple to just scan from your phone at the entrance.

City park
Nature & Parks
Draper City Park is a popular green space in Draper City, Utah, offering a variety of amenities for visitors. It features athletic fields, a bike trail, and a playground for kids. The park also has a picnic pavilion and open spaces where locals can relax and engage in outdoor activities. Throughout the year, the park hosts various events such as music festivals and holiday celebrations, including the impressive Tree of Life adorned with over 1,000 strands of lights during the festive season.
Best park I've ever been to, so much fun! Lots of things to do. Oh, on Sundays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., a group of people who do aerobatics; they're so kind and fun to watch. Too much fun even for adults. The park is very well kept and super clean, and the restrooms are so nice and clean as well.
Amanda L — Google review
What in the bureaucratic nonsense would they do this to our favorite tree! Ps they are alive too and enjoy contact. I've never seen a public park do this. We know you light up the tree for a few months in the winter but this is quite the joke. Poor sad tortured tree! Silly humans!
Rachel — Google review
This is the biggest playground I’ve ever seen. It has something for children of all ages and abilities, including some ramp access to the playground and a few areas for littles to play. Super impressive and beautiful park. The view is lovely and it’s also right by the city library.
Hannah E — Google review
Fantastic park. So many different playground aspects to enjoy. Safe swings and adaptive swings. Close parking. Clean restrooms plenty of old trees to provide ample shade. Connects to big fields for baseball and soccer and the older draper park. A great place for a picnic. Also has water bottle filling stations. Covered pavilion available to rent and reserve. Huge playground for all ages and abilities. Sand volleyball court to play. Benches and tables for sitting. Super soft playground base with a bit of a bounce to it. Some of the funnest playground equipment I’ve ever encountered.
Emily H — Google review
A very nice park with an even more impressive playground for the kids. The pavilion was large and was the perfect place for our reunion. Baseball diamonds are near as well as large open grass areas for other games.
Sean F — Google review
A quick cold visit to see the beautiful lights and share the view with family. It's difficult to find parking near or in the park but we lucked out the vendors were already packing up, but there were plenty of families and children still playing due to the light from the trees. We came to share the Tree of Life with it's million lights. It could very well be! The surrounding trees decorated in blues, reds, greens and other colors don't stand out as brightly lit as they are. It's utterly amazing! What could be added to improve the ambience? If an event organizer added holiday music and have local bands a single stage and let them audition for some time to offer their talent throughout the event. Perhaps add a cultural aspect as well with some displays about the holiday around the world. As it stands, you'll be drawn to go see the lights, find some vendors selling wares and even hot cocoa and some heaters. The Tree of Life (Lights) remain the most spectacular of all
Tess O — Google review
From out of state and visiting with 5 families! This park was so much fun! All the kids had a blast and even the dog had fun! Lots of things to do between climbing sliding swinging and general running around! So if you are in the Salt Lake City area, you really need to come to this park
Valerie B — Google review
Amazing! Super rad for families with young children. Even Santa made an appearance! Definitely recommend warm, grippy shoes or boots. The Tree of Light (or Life) is spectacular, a great backdrop for family pics. A great Christmas tradition!

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Cowabunga Bay WaterPark is a seasonal destination with 11 slides, a lazy river, and an inflatable spinning sphere. Visitors can also enjoy cabanas and food options. Families with kids of various ages had a great time at the park, enjoying the lazy river and water slides without long lines. The venue is suitable for younger children, offering some slides that they can enjoy with adults.
I personally rent Cowabunga Bay out for private events. They are always great to work with and make it super easy and enjoyable. They have a Giant Bucket that dumps water, Big Lazy River, Various Slides for all ages, and a Todler Area. Cabanas are available and they have changing rooms and Food stand. Wish the water was a little warmer but the kiddos don't feel the cold like adults do haha!
Tobin P — Google review
Cowabunga has two sessions; morning visits start at 10:30am-2:00pm. Afternoon schedules begin at 2:30pm and ending at 6:00pm. From June through August 2025, the water park opens 7 days a week. Except for: Monday 8/18 through Friday 8/22, and Monday 8/25 through Friday 8/29 (the water park is closed) **** Monday, 9/1/2025 is the last day of the season. Be sure to plan accordingly. Arrived at Cowabunga at 3:30pm. The parking lot at the waterpark was already filled up and jammed pack. The parking lot at the water park was fully occupied. Other vehicles parked elsewhere within the strip shopping center and walked up to the check-in front entrance. Cowabunga has a wide variety of water rides to accommodate all ages of children. Ages 2-4, 5-7, 8-12+. The cabana rental has a separate line when you first entered and check-in at the front entrance. The cabana rental is in the middle line of the check-in front entrance. To reserve a large cabana rental or a small size cabana tiki rental, check in at the front entrance. They'll take your name and add you to the rental list. You pay for the rental at the end of the session. Cabana rental comes with small tables, chairs, and sunshade wall tarps. The lazy river, the higher water rides, and the lower heights water slides are within the surroundings of the water park. And while the water park is not a huge facility, it's nice and perfect for families to keep their eyes on their young children. There are several food stations to order food/drinks. There's also a small gift shop to purchase fun, beach gifts, sweatshirts and alike. We would strongly recommend that you get there when it opens to get your seats/lounge chairs. The chairs fill up quickly with visitors putting towels, t-shirts, personal belongings, swimsuits, and kiddie toys to claim the chairs. It's a first come, first served basis. The chairs availability is limited with so many guests in the water park. Once all the chairs are taken, there's nowhere to sit and put your items. You can rent a large locker for $10 or a small locker for $5 during the duration of your session, whether it's the 1st session from 10:30am-2:00pm or the afternoon session 2:30pm-6:00pm. If you have items that are not valuable, consider renting a locker. Public paid lockers have limited security with no guarantees of 100% safety, be mindful that it is for public usage based on a paid fee. There's a nice, large yellow-green sunshade canopy hung over with tables/chairs for diners to eat/drink and enjoy their time at the water park. This area is for diners only. The entire facility was well thought out and planned to accommodate guests and families. The lazy river is relatively small in size to accommodate guests. The water park is only so big based on square footage when it was built Cowabunga is well maintained and clean without garbage strung all over the floor. Some helpful tips: Get there when it opens. You may bring unopened water bottles inside the park. Outside food and beverages are discouraged. Reserve your chairs. The water park will get busy and packed after the 1st hour of the opening during the weekends. The men/women bathrooms are to the right; once you enter the water park entrance. Running is discouraged due to slippery wet floors. If water fun is on your agenda and your to-do list. Cowabunga is the place. While at the food concession stations, don't forget to order ice cream/dip in dots to complete your day.

Cowabunga bay is a good time if you have young children! It can definitely be crowded but the slides are a good time and the lazy river is great. I wish they would expand to cater more towards adults and I wish the food was more reasonably priced but overall it’s not a bad place to spend an afternoon.
Samantha G — Google review
I’m giving it a 4 mainly because No coolers or outside food/drinks are allowed. Which is a bummer because the funnel fries you see in the photos of me and my son eating was 14$ 😑 I love me some funnel ANYTHING is the only reason I got it anyways! Lmaooo! But 14 for that? CRAZY! besides that we had a blast! Plenty of chairs for sitting area! My kids loved all the slides! We still went to our car to eat our sandwiches and drink up our own food we brought so don’t hesitate to bring your own food just get a stamp on your hand so you’re able to go back in after lol. Staff was great as well 🙏🏾 had an awesome time here for the 4th of July so thank you Bay Area lol ❤️🤍💙
Lolani K — Google review
My kids and I love it here. I love that they close twice a day, it makes it easier to plan our visit since it can be hard to round up the kids to go home. I love that whether you have toddlers, teens, or any other age, there’s somewhere perfect for them to enjoy. The food is also surprisingly good! The staff is super nice and helpful. It’s always clean, but can be hard to find a spot in the shade unless you come early.
Brianna B — Google review
Awesome place! My family and little ones had so much fun! And thanks to this sweet lifeguard catching every kid at the end of the slide making sure they were all good 🥹❤️
Lisseth D — Google review
We have seasonal passes and it definitely worth it. So much to do for kids. Couple things to improve: the 2pm break is annoying, changing stations are not very clean in family bathrooms and some more shade would be nice 👌

Very clean - lots to do - plenty of lounge chairs. Love the warm water in the pool and lazy river!

Amusement park
Boondocks Food and Fun in Draper, Utah is a fantastic family-friendly indoor theme park that offers an array of activities for kids and adults alike. The 8-acre amusement center features two themed mini-golf courses, bumper boats, go-karts, laser tag, and various food options. Visitors can enjoy the virtually limitless games and attractions including an indoor obstacle playground, bungee wall, four-story soft playground area, and spiral web climb.
Went here for the first time with family while on vacation. It was a great time. We did mini golf and didn’t have to really wait to pay and get on the course. It was great weather and the course was clean and most of the other families were spaced out enough where we didn’t feel rushed. I really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend checking out the mini golf and the arcade inside.
Shelly M — Google review
Took my grandchildren here & they lived it. She's 4, 8, & 10. Plenty of stuff for all of them to do! $50 each got them 4 hours of fun on the outdoor activities, laser tag + $20 in game play! Great price for all the stuff they had to offer. I highly recommend!!
M M — Google review
So much to enjoy at Boondocks. We were able to do go karts, mini golf, ropes course, arcade, and bumper boats and have time to eat lunch in our 4 hour pass. I can see why its a favorite for kids!
Leigh V — Google review
Great place with lots of things to do: arcade games, karting, climbing, water boats, laser gaming. They have adult karting or kids karting. The karts were the biggest hit! Our kids spent the entire time karting or waiting in line for the karts. Entry to the rides through single ride ticket or 4-hour band.

Didn’t expect this to be my first negative review of a local business but had a horrible experience today with several of their employees while we were there with our kids. They hire and under-educate individuals that have no professional etiquette for a services business. Ava and Ean were surprisingly rude and disrespectful. Their manager, Shannon, was no better to communicate with when the situation required escalation. Save your money and go to another nearby attraction/event facility like The Grid, K1, or one of the many local air parks or laser tag venues instead of Boondocks in Draper.
Jason L — Google review
Its definitely a fun place for the whole family especially if you can get in there kinda early. This place has something for everyone from bowling , arcade games, laser tag, mini golf, boats, and go carts for younger and older kids, and yes they have a bar for the adults, but all in all its a great place to take the family.
Josh J — Google review
It was okay. Had dinner . Burger was fine. Restaurant was fine. Service good Played putt putt. Had a family of u in front of us. We had to skip couple holes. Should not be groups larger than 4. Course is in bad shape. Water is not working on the holes . Leaves everywhere on course. Grab a blower and clean it up every hour or so.
Andrew V — Google review
Pretty nice place! Everything is nice and updated. The lanes were good but the balls had sharp edges which made it uncomfortable to play. The shoes also are a half size small. We were going to play mini golf but they said we couldn’t because there was lightning….even though there wasn’t

Corner Canyon Regional Park in Draper is a sprawling outdoor haven, offering an array of activities for nature enthusiasts. The park boasts an extensive network of hiking and biking trails that wind through picturesque canyons, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Visitors can also partake in horseback riding, trail running, and paragliding. While the multitude of trails may be confusing to navigate at first, locals are often on hand to offer guidance.
Not much of a hidden gem. This place is popular for cyclists and for good reason. The trails are amazing. I wish I had these trails back home. I will be riding here every time I visit.
Mike H — Google review
Nice view. The trail can be confusing because there are 10 different destinations - literally a new trail would pop up in every 50 meters or so. They tell you to ride your bike on the left and run/hike/walk on the right side. Lots of rocks on the trail in the beginning which I don't like. Sometimes it's hard to tell which trail is for biking versus walking.

Pancake restaurant
Penny Ann's Cafe is a charming family-run eatery that has gained recognition and awards in the valley. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, this cafe offers classic American breakfast and lunch options, along with an array of shakes and pies. One of their popular dishes is the Heavenly Hot Cakes, known for their light and airy texture. The cafe has multiple locations in the valley, each serving a robust menu featuring breakfast classics like omelettes, pancakes, and hearty plates.
Same old favorites - can't get enough of this place. We always get the pot of gold, such a great meal. The pancakes are seriously the best I've had. We had a great family brunch here, come early, it gets busy!
Graydon T — Google review
The food is really very good. Definitely better than Denny's or IHOP. I asked for my bacon crispy and eggs over medium. They delivered both perfectly. I'll be honest, I got too much food. I couldn't finish my pancakes or potatoes. We brought a scone home and I'm looking forward to eating it. The interior was a little dirty. We were the first customers so no one had sat at the table before us and there were crumbs on it. I was a little surprised.
Chad C — Google review
As a foodie from CA imma just focus on the food, hands down since I been out this way in Utah, this little family owned restaurant is the epitome of Americana food! Pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, I could taste the sweet and saltiness of the oancake mixture, not to mention, there are a plethora or options when it comes to toppings for your pancakes, french toast, etc.. Imma try the dubai chocolate topping next time 🫡 I ordered the philly cheese steak skillet and tbh I dont know how it works, but the wiz cheese topping on top of the eggs works in a way that will make you rethink your life haha.. kinda like when people dip their fries in a vanilla shake.. its crazy.. but the flavors were there! And I like how cripsy the potatoes were in the skillet and well seasoned too. Service is phenomenal, these waitresses and waiters are on top of their service probably most likely due to how packed this place can get, so its a fast pace restaurant vibe for these workers, nonetheless they were attentive and very welcoming. Be sure to get in early, they do get packed, but rightfully so! The food is bomb and the service is great! Dont sleep on this little spot! Go check them out!
Mulek M — Google review
Standard breakfast spot. Nothing too different from anywhere else. The food was consistent, ready fast, and the service was pleasant. We were shocked that there were so many people here on a Friday morning at 9am. There was actually a wait, on and off, while we were there. Take note - they won't seat your party until all members of your party are present. If you want toppings on your waffle, there are hefty extra charges for all of it. We appreciated that they had decent ketchup at the table, instead of Heinz. They have some items (shirts mugs, etc) for sale but we didn't actually see them displayed.
Rachel B — Google review
It’s quite crowded, so be prepared to wait for a table, but once you’re seated, you won’t have to wait long for your order. I like that homemade fries come with almost every dish. The waitress, a girl with piercings, was very friendly and helpful. The place is clean, and the food is really delicious! The kids got obsessed with the hot chocolate topped with cream:))
Nanka S — Google review
Went for lunch last week and it was really yummy. The hash was quite salty but tasted good. I absolutely loved the french toast! Service was pretty slow with us having to wave down our server a few times. I'd love it if they were more attentive as we also ran out of water. Can get expensive too. The restroom could definitely use a good deep clean. I'd definitely come back as it was delicious.

Mediterranean restaurant
Spitz in Draper is a casual Mediterranean restaurant known for its doner kebab and unique entrees. The street cart fries, topped with a choice of meat, garlic aioli, feta, and various veggies are a must-try. Food for Thought is a charming cafe and bakery offering homemade pastries and cute sugar cookies. Customers love the Mediterranean wrap with falafel at Spitz and recommend trying the doquitos for an amazing taste experience.
Jordan was so helpful when it came to selecting something to eat. Then the food came out and it was SO GOOD!!! The fries are the best fries combo I’ve ever had. Because they’ll let you get a mix of normal fries and sweet potato fries. The only thing was it was a little expensive but you get A LOT of food so it kinda equals out.
The K — Google review
The food was delicious! I had the Donor Salad. I loved the crispy chickpeas on top. My husband got the classic gyro. He really liked the beef and lamb mixture. We shared the house special Fries. They were are favorite! We would choose Spitz over Santorinis. The food was better.
Jennifer M — Google review
One of our go to places in Utah. It's a little expensive and prices keep going up which is frustrating. That's the only reason I'm not leaving five stars. But the food is fantastic! This last time I discovered their loaded fries - I will now never get anything else. Aside from a side of pita strips. Always have to get their pita strips. So good!! Ten out of ten would recommend - again, just the ever increasing price that's frustrating.

I have not had Mediterranean food this good since I left the Bay Area 25 years ago for Northern Idaho! The food is excellent and authentic and the options plentiful. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. The service was excellent. And the baklava dessert was delicious! I could not be happier with my experience.

Restaurant
Sauce Boss Southern Kitchen in Draper is a go-to spot for those craving sandwiches and classic homemade meals. This family-friendly restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking for a good time. Chef and owner Julius Thompson's food truck turned physical location in 2019 has become a gem in the area, offering delicious fried chicken, crispy fries, mouthwatering cornbread, blackened pork chops with flavorful sides like collard greens and sweet potatoes.
Loved everything about this place - the menu, the service and the foooood! 10/10. Our server was incredibly kind & welcoming. We got the pasta with shrimp & bacon bits which was delicious, the broccoli kale salad which was good but a little too sweet, the candied yams and the collard greens along with the hibiscus drink & mixed berry lemonade. All excellent. The cornbread was the star of the show, best I’ve ever had in Utah. All the portion sizes were huge & we had plenty of leftovers. Highly highly highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic soul food in Salt Lake City!

What a fun hidden gem!! I'm somebody who loves to find new food places to try out. You can tell a lot of love and care goes into this family owned restaurant. The food is authentic southern food. I was able to try a few things i had never had before, and also some familiar foods like fried chicken. The walnut salad was fantastic!! I highly suggest the corn on the side, and some fried green tomatoes. Lots of Gluten free options!! Very filling large portions, even on the kids menu.

I thoroughly enjoyed Sauce Boss! I went with friends and we wanted to try all the sides. We ordered the fried green tomatoes and both the chicken fried chicken and the fired chicken. We got cornbread, the Mac and cheese (amazing!), yams, seasoned corn, mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables (sauteed tomatoes). It was all so good. I really like the chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes. I look forward to visiting again.

I am very glad to have found this amazing southern soul food restaurant. I travel a lot for work and this is my first time out in Utah I come across this restaurant towards the latter part of my stay. Wish I would’ve found it sooner. Walked into a warm greeting from Julius and sat down and was greeted by another beautiful smile and amazing energy from Maddie. Food was perfect. Seasonings were incredible on everything that I ate and will definitely ruin some of my local spots. I had the bacon fries to start then the fried chicken, mac & cheese, candied yams, and finished off with the sweet potato cheesecake. I always eat alone when I travel for work, but this place made me feel like family. The bar is now set sky high for every other soul food restaurant. Thanks fam’ see you next time.
Jason W — Google review
I didn’t expect to find good soul food in Draper but here we are! Let’s keep this restaurant around! I got the Mac and cheese and grits and both were very good, particularly the Mac. The cornbread was soft, spongey, and sweet. I only gave it four stars because while I enjoyed my blackened pork chops, they didn’t blow me away. That said, my friend was raving about his fried chicken. Finally, the helpings were large - we were both stuffed and had leftovers. The service was amazing, the owner and chef stopped by and chatted with us for a bit, super nice guy. You can tell he puts a lot of passion, love, and skill into his food. I will definitely be coming back!
Jeff G — Google review
The chef is known for always improving his dishes, and I agree. When we went the first time several years ago, the food was OK, but it was nothing to rave about. This time, when we went, it was some of the best southern food we have ever had. Amazing flavors and great portion sizes. I'm super happy we came back for a second try. Would recommend the chicken fried chicken.
Garrett M — Google review
As a girl born and raised in North Carolina, I know good Southern food — and let me tell you, this place NAILED it. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was back home. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the collard greens had just the right kick, and don’t even get me started on the mac and cheese... creamy, cheesy, and made just right. But what really made the experience special was the owner. He came around to check on every single table. You can tell he puts his heart into everything — the food, the atmosphere, the whole place. It felt less like eating out and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. If you’re craving true Southern comfort food made with love, this is where you need to be. I’ll definitely be back! Maybe there will be corn puddin to try next time too. 🤭

Absolutely amazing southern restaurant! The food was delicious! The restaurant was busy, but after a little wait we were seated and served by very friendly staff. My wife is from the south and the menu definitely included all the southern staples, which made us feel closer to where she is from! A must if you are in SLC!

Gourmet grocery store
Pirate O's Gourmet Market in Draper is a hidden gem known for its delectable chocolate and candy selection, but it also boasts a top-notch sandwich counter offering traditional cold cuts and grilled paninis made with luxurious ingredients. The market, housed in a rustic 100-year-old building that was once a movie theater, has been serving unique fine foods for nearly 20 years.
Such a neat store! So many groceries and chocolates from around the world! Really fun to go down the aisles to see what you can find. Great employees too! I dropped my coffee outside, and when I asked for something to help clean it up multiple people jumped in to take care of it. They even reordered my coffee for me! I definitely plan on coming back!

I love Pirate O's so much, it feels like a place tailor-made for me. The coolest thing is that it's just sitting smack dab in the middle of an unassuming suburban neighborhood. Blink and you'll miss it. This store has all sorts of cool stuff! Grab a basket when you get inside, you're gonna need it. Here are some of the neat-o finds I've purchased over the years: original strawberry BB Bats taffy, super spicy pineapple hot sauce, Italian olive oil, chopsticks shaped like a T-Rex, a Sylvia Plath stuffed doll, vomit-flavored jellybeans, imported gingerbread from Germany, local creamery cheese curds, a miniature Christmas train set, atheist-themed mints, a butter sculpture shaped like a rabbit, a coffee mug that changes color, a pirate hat, a kitty cat flour sack towel, a dress-up Jesus magnet, sugar free vanilla soda, lemon flavored lip balm, and so much more! The real reason to come here is if you love candy. Pirate O's has an amazing selection! They import candies and other goods from all over the world, and you will likely find what you want here. I can't even list all the stuff they carry: toys, games, trinkets, pasta, sauces, home goods...the list goes on and on. I could easily spend hours just browsing here. The shelves are packed full with all sorts of good stuff. Do take note of the expiration date before you buy. With such a well-stocked store, employees can sometimes miss things and you'll buy an out-of-date item. Another pet peeve of mine is that while they carry an impressive selection of craft sodas, there are only a handful of sugar free or diet flavors. It goes without saying that Pirate O's is one of the best places in the world for gift shopping. They have gag gifts, useful gifts, and gifts that will suit any taste and budget. If you can't find something here that a person will love, then there is no pleasing that person! One of life's simple pleasures to me is grabbing an artisan soda off the shelves, popping it open, and sitting outside on the store's front porch on a lovely Utah summer afternoon. You can also grab snacks at the deli or even candies, cheese, and more to enjoy on property. Their parking lot is all dirt and the store ain't fancy, but it's a Utah icon. This is a must-stop if you're in the area.

Absolutely love this store. Something for everyone. Great spot if you want a quick bite, a little treat or need ideas for gifts. Expect to spend a good amount of time and money. Come during the week when it’s less busy.

We were visiting my sister in Salt Lake and she had taken her granddaughter to Pirate Os as part of a sweet excursion. Both were so impressed we decided to try it. The outside is deceiving, the place goes on and on. I have never seen this variety of International candies, etc. The spicy sauce wall was worth the trip. I noticed in a few reviews some knocks on the associates. While we were there it was easy to see they were doing inventory. Having been in retail I know the fine line between getting the inventory done and customer service. They did an excellent job handling both. All were ready to answer questions and were very helpful. We had one who noticed I picked up a bacon infused cheese sampler and immediately picked up and told me about these Tuc cheese crackers that would go great with the cheese. Some people may think that's pushy, no that's great service and the 3 of us agreed they are the best crackers we've had with cheese. We spent a lot of time and money and enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to our next visit. It's a must see .

Wow, this is a fun store. You have to visit this store. Pepper jam, japepeno jelly, fine chocolate and much more

I don't even know how to start describing how awesome this store is. Every time I thought I had seen everything I turned a corner and there was so much more.

Unique and awesome place to get a taste of some British products. They sell some frozen foods, lots of candy/ sweets, hot sauces, syrups, canned goods, little unique toys, cheeses, drinks and cool season items. I found Golden Syrup here which is helpful for baking British recipes. Awesome place to get some unique and tasty gifts for loved ones. Has a real charm to it. You really have to visit for yourself to experience it. They sell some typical products you can find in any other grocery store but all in all it has many European, Japanese and British items you would have to order online to get a hold of. Prices can be steep but that’s because of shipping and I’m sure to help keep the place a float. All worth it and I definitely will be coming back again!

As an Irish ex-pat who now resides in Utah, I've been looking for somewhere which sells British/European snacks/drinks at a reasonable price and quite honestly, Pirate O's prices blew me away. I was so pleasantly surprised, especially as today was my first time visiting and it also happens to be my birthday. We drove an hour and it was so worth it! I bought all the items I've longed for and cannot wait to come back! On the drive home I sent out a text to everyone in my contacts letting them know to come give Pirate O's a visit! Will definitely be back before Christmas.

Restaurant
OAK Wood Fire Kitchen is a laid-back eatery that specializes in wood-fired pizzas, appetizers, and beverages within a contemporary setting. Chef Brandon Price leads the way with a modern American menu featuring locally sourced ingredients, craft cocktails, and local beers. The restaurant prioritizes safety measures for diners. Guests have praised the prompt seating on busy days, along with the attentive yet unobtrusive service.
THE PERFECT DAY! We had our small ceremony and wedding luncheon at Oak Wood Fire Kitchen and it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish Ian and his team were incredible. We wanted a location that looked beautiful, served amazing food and all we had to do was show up. When I first inquired about hosting a private event at the restaurant Ian took the time to meet me in person, show me the restaurant, give me a basic idea of how the day would proceed, what was included, pricing, time... After deciding to move forward he was available via email confirming guest count, layout, menu, he even gave an option for wedding cake even though it's not typically on the menu, he supplied microphones, changed the marquee to celebrate us. He went above and beyond in every aspect. Day of, the restaurant was pristine. They had everything set up and ready for us. It was everything we wanted and I am so grateful for Ian and him amazing staff (a special shout out to Tyler who was a true angel and checked in with us multiple times to make sure everything was running smoothly and to also say the nicest things about our wedding). The ceremony was simple and lovely. It was followed by drinks, appetizers, pizza and salad and dessert. Every. Single. Dish. Was. Delicious. Thank you to the team for boxing us up some pizza to go. I'll say it again, everything about the day was perfect. We have a perfect spot to come celebrate our anniversary every single year! Thank you again!

I’ll start with the positives. The biscuit is really good. The sausage was good too. Unfortunately, the rest wasn’t great. In particular, the service. Extremely slow. Our server only stopped by our table a couple of times. And the food took a very long time. The worst part is that even though the restaurant has a great atmosphere, it was very dirty. They tried sitting us at a table and chairs that had crumbs and strands of guests’ hair on them. Normally I don’t mention stuff like that in reviews, but when we pointed out the problem, the staff acted annoyed. No apology or anything. Acted like it was normal and we were inconveniencing them. They took us to another table and that had crumbs on it too. The rest of the food was mediocre. The French toast was very dry. I’ve had the burger before and it was much better the first time—but that was about a year ago. Not sure if this place is under new management or what.

Wanted to try this place because of the reviews. First red-flag, the menu is all over the place. However, the place was hopping. It was solid busy so they must be making the local crowd happy. I ordered the loco moco (I’m a connoisseur). Definitely not the best loco moco I’ve had. Suggestions for the chef… add caramelized onions and be careful not to overcook the eggs [mine were way overcooked]. Nice location but I won’t be coming back.

Surprisingly good for the strip mall vibes outside. Cool interior design, love the chairs, wallpaper, lighting, kitchen, service. Margarita was 5/10, raspberry gin was 8/10. Oak burger was their signature and it was a 6/10 Dry and too salty. Pizza was okay, not cooked enough, ratios not dialed in. If you charge 19 for a burger it should be more dialed in same with pizza. Music was very off for atmosphere, too cold as well. Love the live plants and the people inside were vibes. Too much of an echo but they did already have some elements to mitigate that.

I was around the area and stopped by. The place is really pretty and nice atmosphere, but the food was okay overall, and the service was friendly and attentive. I was excited to try the churros but they fell short, they had a bit of a frozen taste and didn’t seem as fresh as I thought. Still, it was an experience giving this place a try!

Wedge salad was on point with a bonus of avocado, really adding to the salad. Papa Juan pizza did not disappoint! A small, chipotle warm heat and balanced flavor...great pizza and highly recommend.

This is a great little data spot in Draper. It was pretty crowded so be ready for a wait on the weekends. But the food was super yummy! I really loved the sandwich and hot honey pizza. The fries were perfectly crisp too. It is really filling, and the salad was also tasty. We look forward to coming back and trying their other options!

This was so close to a 5 star restaurant. I love the atmosphere and the service was good. It took a bit longer to get our food than I'd expected but our waitress was great. The Elote pizza was delightful and the sexy fries were good. However I felt the Nashville sandwich and the house salad that it came with could use a little work. The salad came with a lemon vinaigrette that definitely didn't taste like it had any lemon in it, which was a bit of a disappointment. The chicken on the sandwich was pretty dry and probably overdone. I liked everything else about the sandwich though! Overall I'd be back but would get something different.
