Scenic spot
Yubatake is a central attraction in Kusatsu Onsen, Japan, featuring a man-made pool of geothermal water surrounded by bath houses and traditional inns. This hot water field was created to cool down the piping hot spring water and collect the minerals from it. The site consists of seven wooden slides that help cool the hot spring water, which wells out at a rate of 4,000 liters per minute. Yubatake is also known for its enchanting nighttime illumination.
This is Kusatsu’s famous natural hot spring source area that’s been developed for viewing. The area has a strong boiled egg smell from the sulfur. While impressive during the day, this place truly comes alive and looks much more beautiful at night when the lighting creates a more dramatic atmosphere.
Minwoo K — Google review
It is a beautiful place. The view is awesome at night. It feels so nice to drink in from of this place. You can see a lot of stores here. And there is convenience store too. It is the most beautiful onsen place that I have ever seen in Japan
Ronnie I — Google review
PSA: IT SMELLS LIKE ROTTEN EGGS But the view is as beautiful as the pictures make it to be. In fact, I'd say pictures don't do it justice as to how beautiful and lovely the atmosphere actually is. Please go visit, it's just large enough.. not too big where you feel like you can't explore the whole area. Also not too small where you get bored after 30 minutes to an hour.
TatteredAllure — Google review
Kusatsu Onsen is one of the most atmospheric onsen towns we have visited. The highlight was the Yubatake (hot water field) in the town centre. Seeing the steam rise at night was beautiful and calming. The walk along the nearby shopping street was enjoyable, with many small shops and snacks to explore at a relaxed pace. The whole area felt safe, clean and easy to navigate. A wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the onsen town ambience. Highly recommended for both first-time and returning visitors.
Daddydrives — Google review
This is an enchanting town full of public hot baths (onsens). There are also a lot of public foot baths. It is a place to stroll with your own Yukata (traditional wear) entering into different hot baths. Don't miss an evening walk around town and the center as it is illuminated beautifully
Cynthia G — Google review
Very big landmark of this onsen city where surrounded by shops, restaurants, temple and hotels. Also have some spots to do the foot spa (onsen). We can smell the onsen water mineral. Really impressed
Mildthun — Google review
This location is one of the attractions of Japanese hot springs (onsen). It is not far from Osaka. It is very unique. You can enjoy a complimentary foot spa or public hot springs during your visit.
Raymond W — Google review
An amazing place to visit! The color of the water and the sulfur collection process are fascinating to see. Around the area, you’ll find many hand baths and foot baths, along with plenty of shops and food stands. A great spot to explore and relax.

Park
Nature & Parks
Sainokawara Park, situated in Kusatsu, is a serene urban park surrounded by volcanic rocks and filled with naturally heated pools. It's just a short walk from the Kusatsu Onsen bus terminal and the Yubatake. The park features Sainokawara Rotemburo, the largest open-air bath in Kusatsu Onsen.
Open space hot spring. Beautiful view of the whole stream of water. Multiple foot soaking pools available but all are open without shade (we went on a rainy day) The spot may be tricky to find, and there are no parking space at the spot so find parking outside near supermarkets or government buildings (weekend).
Viveqa S — Google review
Sainokawara Park is a peaceful and scenic spot just a short walk from the Yubatake. The walking paths are surrounded by nature, volcanic rock, and naturally heated streams, which makes the whole place feel calming and relaxing. Inside the park is Sainokawara Rotemburo, the largest open-air bath in Kusatsu Onsen, and it is well worth the visit if you enjoy onsen. The atmosphere is quiet and soothing, and it is a wonderful place to take a slow walk, unwind, and enjoy the natural beauty of Kusatsu.
Daddydrives — Google review
Sainokawara Park is one of the most relaxing and scenic spots in Kusatsu. The park is filled with natural hot spring streams and warm pools flowing through a quiet, open landscape. Walking along the pathways is calming, and the mix of steam, rocks, and greenery creates a very unique atmosphere. The park is especially enjoyable in the early morning or late afternoon when it’s quieter. The large open-air bath at the end of the path is also a highlight, offering a spacious and peaceful onsen experience surrounded by nature. Some areas can feel a bit crowded during peak times, but the overall environment remains pleasant. It’s an easy, refreshing walk and a perfect complement to the Yubatake area. Overall, Sainokawara Park is a beautiful and soothing place to explore, offering a different side of Kusatsu’s famous hot spring culture.

Nice pools in a beautiful surroundings with flowers and forrested area. You can bath your feed in several pools st the end there is a public onsen. Good access by wheelchair toilets available no eating or drinking services there are some sitting areas but not to much places with shade. Especially the pools themself are exposed to the sun
Christiaan H — Google review
If you come to Kusatsu, don't forget to come here. Most people don't realize but this is walkable from the Yubatake and it's open and pretty. If you don't come here, it's like going to McDonalds, ordering a burger and a drink but not the fries.
TatteredAllure — Google review
Excellent unique free park with warm thermal waters flowing throughout, plus a public onsen in the middle you can pay a fee to visit. What's not to love. ARRIVAL From the front entry it seemed pretty small, but once you walk in a bit the boardwalks open up into a wider area with lots of steaming pools. This place must be very beautiful in the winter. People were wandering around on the boardwalks and within the parks, often barefoot. There were several foot bath areas, a Devil’s Kettle that made a whistling sound when you stand at a distance but goes quiet when you get close (it’s basically just a small trickle making the sound). Off to the side we saw a statue of a bodhisattva with two western-looking cherubs clinging to it, which was unexpected. SCENERY AND HIGHLIGHTS We walked all the way up to the top of the paths, no one around which was peaceful. From the top we got a nice view of a mountainside covered in orange and yellow leaves. Picked out way back the way we came, the path filled with low bamboo-like kusa-kusa grasses, and plants with leaves bigger than my palm. ONSEN EXPERIENCE On a whim we decided to try the public onsen inside the park. No showers so you just rinse as best you can, and apparently they have a mixed bath option on Fridays. We paid the entrance fee, got two towels and used a 100 JPY coin for the locker for valuables. Outside, the onsen was huge with a big cascading water feature (where the onsen water is fed into the pool). The water near the falls felt maybe 40–41°C, hotter as you approach, and the area near the entrance was around 38°C. About six people total on a weekday but since it's so big it still feels remote. Beautiful autumn colors surrounding the onsen. Very nice park visit with a quiet viewpoint at the end and a big outdoor public onsen (paid visit) as an option. Would visit again and recommend.
A C — Google review
Good for a walk and remember to try the free onsen outside with your feet. The water source is different to the main source with less acidity. If you forgot to bring a towel, you may consider to buy a towel at the entrance of the onsen (300 yens). I don't recommend paper tissue as it is not easy to find a rubbish bin.
Damian S — Google review
So beautiful, absolutely worth the time to visit if you are in Kusatsu. It’s a quick walk from the Yubatake on a street lined with cute shops (including a tsukemono/pickle shop with cats!!!) there are foot baths and so many amazing sights along the park walkway. One of my favorite places I visited on this trip!!!

Ski resort
Outdoor Activities
Ski & Snowboard Areas
Nestled in the Gunma Prefecture of Japan, Kusatsu Onsen Ski Resort has been welcoming visitors for over a century and holds the distinction of being home to Japan's first ski lift. The resort offers five slopes suitable for skiers of all levels, with plenty of beginner-friendly courses. In addition to skiing, the resort also provides rental services for those who arrive empty-handed.
People staff amenities. It's a sweet spot. Older skiers work well. Snowboards abound. Not always skilled. Slamon snowboard to avoid collision. Consider rhem ground covering. I'm commuting daily by bus from below. The next visit will be overnight. Only 3 hours per day, the bus schedule is limited, and do not be late. Taxi down will be costly. Try to plan ahead. I did not.
David L — Google review
It suited my level beginner-intermediate snowboarding. Hardly any English signs in the area but enough friendly people trying their best to help. It's easy to get to as well from the town, I walked there via route 292. Some part of the road can be narrow but you can cut across via the Sainokawara park. The chair to the upper half of the skifield was closed due to strong wind but the sign was only at the entrance of the chair. However to get to this entrance, you'll have to go down slightly from the gondola exit, and when I figured it was closed, it's either walk uphill back to gondola platform or go down (intermediate). It was daunting as I was still a beginner at that stage. Also the gear rental can be done on site without online booking. Maybe it's communication difficulties, I was just given the gear, no fitting. Pretty much DIY. The gear rental accept credit card, but the entrance ticket office cash or cards only (I didn't pay attention which one). Food was decent and affordable. There's a water station in the cafeteria.

Throwback to where my skiing journey began! This special place holds my first memories on the slopes, and now it's where my kids discover the joy of snow for the very first time. Family fun and unforgettable moments!

such a fun experience. rented everything for a day pass and was so cool. tool lessons as well. the instructor did not speak English but we were able to get by with gestures. worth checking out if you are here.
Michael R — Google review
It was my first time to try skiing. We arrived there on a Saturday afternoon, around 1pm, and we tried to rent the ski wear and gear, but there were no more available sizes for us. It was full, so we just rented in a nearby shop. After renting, we went back to the Ski Resort. It is a public space and skiing there is free, as long as you have a gear. I also learned that all residents of Kusatsu Onsen can freely avail of the Gondola and lift as much as they want. We joined the Kusatsu Ski School for 5000 yen. It was helpful if you're a beginner. I even lost track of time about how long that lasted, coz it was fun--maybe about 2 hours. The teacher tried his best to speak English. After that, we just enjoyed skiing in the area. We tried the Gondola for ¥2000, and we skied from there. There is a beginner-friendly route up there. My friends also tried the ski lift for also ¥2000. For a beginner like me, I was scared to try it coz jumping off at the top was scary. One of my friends also tripped over when she jumped down. Just be careful when you try it. There is also a food court, but expect that on the weekend, it is really packed. You have to wait for vacant tables before you can sit. There is also a souvenir shop. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.
Rhona D — Google review
The ski resort is great for beginners. slopes are not so tough, so not scary to train for the first time. The snow was also good in February. And the best thing is that after snowboarding you can go to the best ever onsen of Kusatu
Olga N — Google review
Must go! Sky swing, gondola and banzip tengu for 3100yen only, good for adults or family. Definitely will visit again in Winter!
OK G — Google review
The snow in this area is not as powdery and heavy as in northern Japan such as Hokkaido and Aomori. The slopes consist 50% beginner’s courses. Some of the routes are too flat or upwards. For first timer skiers and snowboarders it will be a good place to have fun. There is an area for kids too. The rental shop has old equipments and colorful wears. Canteen has quite a number of choices for lunch. Overall I recommend this place for first timer and beginners. There is one short route for intermediate level but might be too boring for those who seek challenges.

Onsen
Sights & Landmarks
Ōtaki no Yu is a spacious and traditional hot spring facility in Kusatsu, featuring multiple pools with varying water temperatures. The onsen offers an awase bath experience and a private bath option for visitors. It stands out as one of the best onsen experiences, with indoor and outdoor baths ranging from very hot to ice cold. The building exudes an old-world charm, adding to the overall appeal. Additionally, visitors can enjoy local sake at the lounge cafe after their relaxing soak.
That was definitely a great public Onsen! I really liked it. The various Onsen made the experience even better. It was clean, authentic and the people where friendly to me even though I am foreign. The sauna was Hot (90 degrees) how I like it and the three different Basins with different temperatures have been great! The open air bath was beatifully made and relaxing. And the indoor onsen has been big and spacious. Otaki no yu even provides different Sorts of shampoo and body Wash. Even body Lotion at the end. My stay Has been very relaxing!

There are many Onsens to choose from. Trust me, this is the one you want to visit. It's the best hands down. I visited many in the area and this is by far my favourite one. It has many pools to choose from, and at different temperatures. It has both indoor and outdoor options. 10/10 would recommend!

Theives! Do NOT go to this place. We went to this public onsen place and one of us had his shoes stolen from the lockers. The staff were extremely unhelpful and refused to check the CCTV for us. Imagine taking a bath and ended up with no shoes to leave this place. We ended up buying a new pair of shoes at a run-down place right round the corner. Needless to say, the staff did not offer any compensation at all. We ended up calling the police but they refused to treat this case a theft and did not bother to issue any certificate for us to claim travel insurance as they "do not believe this was a case of theft". Worst yet, the staff were giggling at us at the back. This is pure discrimination towards foreigners and I find it really appalling by the rudeness I have been treated by both the staff and the police. Most of the five stars comments are likely fake and the discrimination against foreigners are legit. The staff and police should be ashamed of themselves at the very least.

+1 to those saying this might be the best out of the three and you might want to spend a good time here given the higher prices compared to the other two. But I can imagine though that these might get crowded if there will be too much people. And I guess that’s the reason why they stop admitting people past 8pm. Also saw a theft review here ? Separate lockers for shoes, valuables, and clothes are provided so I don’t know how it happened.

Wonderfull onsen, well maintained good dressing room and shower area. Several inside and outside baths aswell as a hot! Sauna. Quite big and modern layout. The outside area is green and has a good vide. Has a little cafe offering a selection of drinks there is also a shop on site.

Nice, well kept, & centrally located! This water was a bit more acidic than I like - actually “stung” my skin. At first I thought it was the heat or that I somehow hurt my skin along the way only to realize that I’m a bit sensitive to this water’s mineral mixture.
Ms M — Google review
Is that the best onsen in Kusatsu!? It might is! The baths are all excellent and there are many kinds. I was lucky and could enjoy the outdoor bath under the snow, at night. There is also an area with many baths, all of different temperatures for you to challenge. Absolutely lovely and recommended.

Japanese inn
Hotel
Kusatsu Onsen Boun is a tranquil hot spring hotel located in Tokyo, offering unfussy rooms with the option of a private onsen. It can be challenging to find a ryokan with a private onsen in Tokyo due to its large metropolitan area. The inn provides guest rooms with open-air baths and top-notch service, including pickup and drop-off from the bus station. The hotel features three onsens, although some guests may find the temperature on the hotter side.
Everything about our stay here was amazing and memorable. Fantastic onsens on property with tons of amenities, face washes, etc. Incredible food that I will never forget on my visits to Japan. The room was very nice with a great view and large windows. Service was fantastic at every step of the way; they are so nice and understanding there. From the front desk, to the room services, to the dining accommodations the staff was incredible. I loved the little lounge with complimentary coffee as well. Simply unforgettable and very worth visiting.

Honestly they made you feel like royalty here. The rooms were all spacious, and the staff were so kind every time you meet everyone. As our honeymoon this is by far our favorite place during our trip to Japan. If you want to experience a natural hot spring their private ones feel like your vip. Plus the food was high quality it felt like you can spend a whole week here to relax.
Samuel C — Google review
Great ryokan overall with good food and room. Also use the shuttle if you need to go back to the bus terminal. My only nitpick is that the onsen could be a little hotter.
Ruka I — Google review
Beautiful Ryokan with exceptional service and food. We stayed for one night and purchase the wagyu shabu shabu set. All the food and ingredients are fresh and tastes amazing, the staff spoke a bit of English but it was enough. The onsen was amazing and the outdoor area were spectacular. Different baths rotates between men and women depending on the time of day, and they have two(?) different natural onsen source. Would definitely come here again for the hot spring!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Rejuvenating Stay with Exceptional Hospitality My stay at this Ryokan was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the beautiful environment set a peaceful tone for the whole trip. It is perfectly situated—near the bus terminal, making it very easy to access without a car, yet it feels secluded and serene. The highlight, of course, was the great onsen. The water was perfect, and the bath area was relaxing and well-maintained. I must also commend the staff. They were friendly, responsible, and professional, anticipating our needs before we even asked. We started our mornings with a hearty breakfast—a delicious spread of local dishes that gave us plenty of energy for the day. If you are looking for a mix of convenience and traditional comfort, this is the place.

I booked the private onsen room on 1-2 July, it’s was very hot in Tokyo, but the temp was manageable in Kusatsu. The town has no one perhaps it’s not the peak season. This is one of the best ryokan I’ve ever stayed in Japan. Top notch services, the room was very new, perfect onsen temperature, both breakfast and dinner were arranged in private rooms. I booked it to have a celebration with my mother and we were very satisfied. They also has a shuttle to send us back to the bus terminal. Only one down side is that they rushed us to finish the Kaiseki dinner.. always wanted to take the plates back and would appreciate if we can take our time.
Melisa W — Google review
The staff was helpful and polite. We were assisted to our room after they took our shoes at the front door for us. They had very limited English, but we were able to communicate well enough. The room was quite nice, clean and modern bathroom and private onsen, but we still felt the ryokan vibe with the tatami floor and futon. Good thing we got the private onsen since a friend couldnt go into the public ones here with tattoos. They gave us breakfast and dinner, which was a traditional multi-course meal. Probably the fullest I had felt since visiting. They helped us a bit with the menu, but otherwise we were on our own. I'm sure we could have gotten more advice had we asked though lol The onsen were nice, they had two men's ones in the evening and one women's one then swapped in the morning. My sore muscles from all the walking were glad to experience it. The location is convenient, just a little scoot from the station, and then there is a little path leading from the lobby parking to the town center. Plenty to eat and drink there, but we focused on relaxing in the ryokan. I'd for sure recommend this place 👌

My son and I spent 4 nights at Onsen Boun during July 2025 as his middle school graduation present. I've been to Kusatsu 3 times in the past, each time staying at a different hotel. And I'm very glad we chose Onsen Boun this time. It is a very quiet, spacious, and elegant ryokan. The hot spring quality is undeniably superb (which is my top one priority). But what impressed me the most is our room. I don't know what it was about this rather simple-looking room, but it was just so comfortable. It was quiet, clean, and felt very secluded with unbelievable privacy. During our four night here, we never met anyone or heard anything from above, below, or next to us. It was such a great experience my son asked me if we can come back to Kusatsu, to this specific hotel from now on - like he doesn't even want to visit other hot springs. He even liked the breakfast they served and finished everything. Overall we loved this hotel and would like express our gratitude to all the staff who worked there.

The Sugi Bee Garden Kusatsu Onsen Store is a must-visit spot in Kusatsu. It's not your typical bee farm, as it offers a unique experience with its soft serve ice cream drizzled with honey and topped with the finest honey. The shop also sells other types of honey like lemonade and yuzu honey, making it a bit overwhelming to choose from.
I tried the soft serve ice cream honey which is quite nice, especially the honey it has a really nice smooth and not overly sweet flavour. The service were really good as well. For some one whose in the area will recommend them to try.

(Translated by Google) Yesterday in Kawagoe, today in Kusatsu... A certain cedar bee farm when I go to a tourist spot. I always thought it was a bee farm in Karuizawa (lol) It's actually a bee farm in Kumamoto Prefecture! Why did you notice that? That's because they were selling ``Ikinari Dango'' at the Sugi Bee Farm in Kawagoe. No matter how much sweet potatoes are produced in Kawagoe, there are no Kumamoto specialties! I don't know what I thought. Well, they are also sold at Sugi Bee Farm in Kusatsu ☆ So, for the first time in a long while, I was like, ``I want to try this!'' It was ``Subou Mitsu Soft Ice Cream''! “Subo Mitsu Soft Cream” 900 yen (tax included) A premium soft serve ice cream with honey waffles and plenty of honey. Milky, sweet and smooth soft serve ice cream with honey. This alone is delicious, but the main ingredient is the honey. The luxurious sweetness that spreads the moment you lick it is so delicious ☆ When you look at the price, it seems a little expensive... On the other hand, isn't this cheap because you can enjoy the beehive honey that has plenty of honey? I thought so. If you have 900 yen in your wallet, please give it a try (lol) (Original)

Bagel shop
If you find yourself in Kusatsu, make sure to stop by Lucky Bagel, a beloved bagel shop that has captured the hearts of many. This charming spot offers an impressive selection of bagels, including unique flavors and toppings like lox or sweet chocolate spreads. The process is simple: choose your favorite bagel flavor, select your protein and spread, then pair it with a drink from their extensive menu featuring teas and coffees.
Bagels done beautifully. Had the sesame bagel with cream cheese and it was delicious. Also ordered a coffee with Japanese soy but I think it tasted weird. Probably just stick to the regular or oat milk. There is a lovely dining area upstairs where you can enjoy your meal while looking at the views outside. Before leaving, I went to browse the products the shop were selling and bought a few handmade coasters as gifts.

This place hit the spot. After being in Japan for a few weeks I was looking for something light and different from Japanese food. It was so fresh and delicious. Bagel was better than anything I have had in the states. Smoked salmon was salty and Smokey. 12 hours later and I am already craving it. Owner keeps a beautifully clean kitchen. Don’t think that we love bagel like this after we had bagel at this shop. The shop has nice design and what is more cute is the shop’s logo stamped on the bagel. Many choices of bagel flavours. I had salmon cream cheese one. The best I have ever had.

The bagels here are amazing. I had the cheese and sesame with prosciutto and cream cheese and it was excellent. It had the perfect amount of cream cheese in it! Also had their coffee and it was so delicious, great experience overall. I loved the atmosphere as well, very calm, clean and pleasant. I wish I could go here every week.

This spot has an amazing variety of delicious bagels to suit different tastes or wants. I ordered the B.L.T and Vegetarian bagel, which both blew me away! Theres a wide variety of different bagel choices for your bagels and you can choose to add different ingredients for an additional cost. Within the shop are also a wide array of local products. I enjoyed the bottled apple juice which is made by a local apple farmer within the area and it was some of the best I ever had. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast!

Delicious bagels and such a wonderful variety of bagel sandwich options. The blueberry shake is excellent. The atmosphere is lovely, the Japanese way with beautiful attention to details (the wood tables and plants and fixtures) and light music in the background.

Nice modern-looking bagel shop. I ordered #10, a chocolate bagel filled with cream cheese, nuts, and chocolate drizzle. It wasn’t too sweet, as one would expect with Japanese sweets. You get to choose your bagel, and they are generous with the cream cheese and toppings. The only reason for 4 stars is that it was ¥750 (maybe because it’s a tourist area), and it took them a while to make my bagel.

We wanted some breakfast this morning so we stopped by the Lucky Bagel. We were greeted in a friendly way. The menu was translated to English and was very clear. Lots of options to pick from. I had a bagel with lox and my husband had a sweet bagel with chocolate. I also had a latte. All of it was delicious! We took them to go but noticed that there is a nice seating area upstairs. Highly recommend this place!

Italian restaurant
Nestled in a wood-paneled interior, Al Rododendro is a cozy Italian restaurant that offers traditional dishes and wines. The restaurant has gained recognition for its exceptional dining experience, with set courses available for dinner. Guests can choose from two sets, priced at 5,500 yen or 7,500 yen.
We went here on valentine’s day without a booking and the chef was able to accommodate us although i recommend making a booking since it is limited tables. the food is the best italian food our family has ever had, it is better than many of the restaurants we have eaten in italy. The quality of seasonal ingredients made it very special and created a perfect mixture between local Japanese produce and Italy cuisine. The chef was also very kind and friendly he explained all the dishes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Kusatsu Onsen area. If we come back to Japan I will visit here again, the food is amazing. Thank you Chef

Michelin star worthy Italian restaurant! Had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner here with my husband. The restaurant only offers set courses and there are two sets for dinner, 5,500 yen or 7,500 yen. We had the 7,500 yen set and everything was delicious. From the home made bread, to the antipasti, pasta and beef fillet (done medium rare perfectly) to the dessert. You get a choice of 4 types of dessert. And the cheese tart, made from 6 types of cheese, was so good. Please try it if you are there! The chef runs the place by himself and was friendly. The restaurant is small but cosy and can seat about 16 pax. It's about 8 minutes by foot from Yubatake. Good to make a reservation beforehand. Highly recommended!

Run by a solo chef - it was a quaint restaurant away from the main area of Kusatsu. Super friendly chef, and great homemade food and produce

Small underground Italian restaurant. Food was just an average, nothing really stands out apart from the fact all vegetables in dishes are from local.

Kusatsu Onsen Pudding is a must-visit for vanilla pudding enthusiasts. Their handmade pudding is crafted using local ingredients like Haruna Milk from Gunma Prefecture and vanilla beans imported from Madagascar. One of their popular menu items, the Yubatake Pudding, is highly recommended. Customers praise the creamy and delicious texture of the hot pudding with ice cream, which melts in the mouth.
The pudding soft serve is SO yummy!!!! 10/10 recommend! The shop also has really cute photo ops for your pudding cups and for yourself as well. They have the big wooden slabs used for yumomi that you can take photos with!

Famous pudding shop in Kusatsu. Bought the signature onsen pudding to try, it has a strong egg flavor and the texture is firm. Overall it was a good pudding that was above average. After finishing, you can either bring the bottle home as a souvenir or return to the tray provided and receive 10 yen back.

Delicious pudding - I had the plain Yumomi pudding, super creamy, not too sweet. I also loved the decor - currently Halloween decor, so you can take cute photos of your pudding. Thank you!

A famous pudding shop in Kusatsu !! Ordered the original pudding - it was super soft and almost melt in my mouth. Soft-serve is pudding flavor, pretty interesting to try.

It is a small shop of little bottle of colorful egg pudding Some can change color when you stir it Many people wrongly stir it causing the pudding look 🍮 like a mess You only need to stir the jelly part on top of the pudding .. the jelly part will turn to a different color do not need to stir the pudding.. I only like the jelly part 😄 as i dont like milk.. Sometimes they have a long queue, sometimes no queues at all like when we come ... zero queue But after we were dine, they have a long queue ..

Novelty enough as it turns from blue to purple as you pour the lemon juice in and briefly stir it for the jelly portion. The jelly tasted just like jelly-o. The milk pudding below is creamy and silky. It wasn’t too milky and that’s how I like it to be. Have fun trying!
