Brazilian restaurant
Ipanema Brazilian Steak House in Ocala, FL is a traditional Churrascaria where gaucho waiters serve a variety of grilled meats tableside. The restaurant also offers a salad bar and all-you-can-eat options. While it may be considered expensive, the food and service are excellent. Guests are guaranteed to leave satisfied and full. Don't miss the opportunity to try their baked pineapple, as well as their lamb and chicken dishes.
Then ambiance was extremely nice, customer service was excellent, very friendly and warm. Everything is delicious but you must have the garlic sirloin and the grilled cinnamon pineapple it's AMAZING 🤤🤤🤤 and then we got this surprise.. It's our anniversary🎉🥰🎉

I had been wanting to try out this restaurant for quite a while because so many people recommend it and I had never had any authentic Brazilian BBQ experience. But it turned out to be a major disappointment. The food was so so salty and it grossed me out quickly. They put a window around the kitchen so you can see how meat is roasted and what condiments they use and put on it. And they are very “generous” with the amount of salt used on the food. I personally hate this level of salt because it sabotages the original flavor of meat and, what is worse, it makes my body uncomfortable. Apart from that, the service was terrible. Because the meat was too salty, I wanted more diet coke but I waited for soooo long before the waitress finally came to our table to check on us. And there were so many times I almost made eye contact with her and even called her but she ended up ignoring me unintentionally. The two guys in the kitchen were pretty nice and they served meat timely and provided great service. One of them remembered that we disliked the saltiness and catered for us by giving us meat on the inside. Overall it was a mid experience to me, not mentioning that it was quite pricey as well.

We liked here, some ppl saying too expensive but we didn’t think that.we thought good price with good food! but the restaurant AC is broken or something and very hot,we were sweating🥵some meats were salty but mostly good.recommend for anniversary or birthday! *only military ppl get discounts.not for family.

The food quality was very disappointing. Several cuts of meat were served either undercooked or overcooked, and the buffet selection was surprisingly small for a Brazilian steakhouse. Bread stopped being served at 8:00 p.m., with staff stating they had run out. Service was lacking as well—we waited an unusually long time to be greeted, and the overall attentiveness throughout the evening did not improve. Many of the meats served were of noticeably poor quality, including items like chicken legs and bacon wrapped chicken being offered repeatedly. The few higher-quality cuts we received were either rubbery and overcooked or nearly raw. Seasoning was inconsistent across the board, ranging from under-seasoned to overwhelmingly salty. Having visited many churrascerias, this experience was by far the most disappointing. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Great food. Basically all you can eat. Several types of meat brought to your table and sliced in front of you. Pricey but worth it. Large tables for groups.

I was able to treat an old friend to this very fine establishment. He has never eaten at a Brazilian Steakhouse before. They night was exceptional all the way down to last part of the meal the grilled Pineapple!! It was like butter on Popcorn. Which means it was awesome! And h almost forgot I got an Arnold Palmer. But with 75% unsweetened Tea and 25% lemonade and it was the best I ever had.

What can I say this place is awesome. The meats are so yummy our waitress was awesome as well! You must try it!

7 PM on Saturday night definitely expect a wait. We made a reservation so we got sat faster, so definitely something to consider depending on when you are wanting to dine. The service was amazing, they have a card system to let the people bringing around the meats know if you are wanting to continue to get more meat or not. They had many different varieties as well as different cuts. The meats were all very delicious, though a little fatty! I saw some people said that it was salty, I did not have that problem at all. You can let them know how medium/rare you want the meat, but I will say that they do tend to be more on the medium rare side. I love medium rare, so I had no issues. You do get access to the unlimited salad and sides bar. They have many options for sides including Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, beans, rice, fried plantains, etc. the salad bar had many options as well, and there was also bread and butter available. Overall we left very full and satisfied! Wanted to add that the service was excellent! They def went above and beyond. Overall, It is a little pricy, so I prob would not come outside of a special occasion, but it was def worth it!

Seafood restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled in a cozy corner, Lena's Seafood is a delightful little seafood haven that serves up generous portions of mouthwatering dishes. From succulent lobster rolls to crispy clam bellies, the menu is packed with options for every seafood lover. I indulged in their calamari appetizer, which was simply divine—complete with those beloved tentacles! The fried grouper main course was equally impressive, featuring lightly seasoned fillet strips accompanied by a hearty serving of french fries and onion rings.
First time here. Clean, service was excellent, full menu and large portions. Hubby loved his shrimp po boy. I do not care for seafood so I had a taco salad. It was in a fried shell which was yummy. This is a seafood restaurant and consequently the seafood is excellent. The taco salad was lacking but I found it filling.

I loved it! If you’re anywhere near Lena‘s Seafood even if you have to drive a little bit out of your way make sure to hit it up. You won’t be. I can’t remember exactly how much the mussels appetizer cost, but it wasn’t much and the portion was huge. Clam chowder was excellent. They have some of the best onion rings I’ve ever had. The crabcakes were really good and there were a ton of them, I think I ate them for three days. Everything was great!

The Clam chowder here is to die for....OMG and the lobster roll was amazing, the onion rings were perfectly cooked & the atmosphere is that of a fish camp and down to earth & that made it even more pleasant...thanks everyone & Much Love From Your Local Neighborhood Shark

Absolutely loved it! It is a truly hidden gem! The place is ADORABLE! The staff is so friendly! And the food has GREAT portions and fresh! Absolutely loved it and will come back when we are back in the area!

Lena’s has the best clam chowder we’ve ever had! We live outside the state of Florida, but we’ll make a special trip to eat at Lena’s every time we’re in the area. The casual down home service & atmosphere is perfect for the location. 5 stars across the board.

Little seafood house with big dishes! All sorts of Seafood including lobster rolls and clam bellies! Had the calamari appetizer and the fried grouper for a main course. Sadly no beer here, only soda and iced tea. Calamari was excellent, they included the tentacles that I love so much. I wolfed it down so fast I forgot to take a photograph. Grouper was in little fillet strips and was lightly seasoned. Large order of french fries, onion rings and roll accompanied the meal.

What can we say the food and staff here are amazing. They have plenty of options and all you can eat. Also if you have anyone with a certain allergy just let them know and they will accommodate you. My son and husband are allergic to shrimp. But here that's not a problem at all. The girls that work here are always so friendly and make you feel so welcome. And they don't try to rush you at all. A friend of ours told us about this place and we love it. Go at least once a month now. They also make their own sauces which are really good.

Went with a group of 6, and we arrived at 11 as the doors opened. Great food, excellent service, and the perfect little seafood restaurant. My guess is that it is busy every weekend, but I do not know that. If in the area it is a definite must go.

American restaurant
Jan's River Park Cafe is a cozy eatery in Ocala that offers classic American comfort food all day. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, giving it a homely atmosphere. The friendly waitress recommended one of their specials, which was biscuits and gravy with eggs, bacon, and homemade fries. The dish was exceptional, and the service provided by the waitress was pleasant. Jan's River Park Cafe also serves lunch options like burgers and fries that are equally delicious.
This is a very nice little cafe with very friendly staff. They are open for breakfast and lunch. I had the fruit bowl and cheese grits, and hubby had the breakfast special it included 2 eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, and home fries. The food was delicious. They are also right beside Sweet Jane's, so after you enjoy your meal there, you can go next door and get whoopie pies. Yum

I had the grilled chicken salad... It was a big salad but only had a few diced tomatoes and Lots of shredded cheese and the chicken. My mom had a chicken salad sandwich which was supposed to have tomato and lettuce but did not ,it was very plain.. And on toasted wheat bread which she did not ask for toasted.. and a bag of chips on the plate. We both had water...... And the total with the 20% tip was $31. I felt like the prices were a bit high for what we got

Excellent food. A great quality & quantity for the price. The home fries had an amazing seasoning on them. Burgers were cooked to order. We'll be back.

Sunday Breakfast splurge at Jan’s River Park Cafe. Just steps from JazzyPigs Wilderness Refuge, we tried this little breakfast and lunch spot for the first time that we drive by each day. We love a good breakfast so we went in and were warmly greeted. We chose to sit at the counter and were quick brought coffees and waters. The waitress was very nice and informative-they had a pretty extensive old school breakfast menu. We had the corn beef hash & cheese 3 egg omelette and the 1/2 order of chipped beef on toast. The omelette came with grits and wheat toast. All were superb-corn beef was cooked perfect and it wasnt greasy. The chipped beef 1/2 order was huge and it was on Texas toast. It was had home fries. Very filling. Coffee was good- your classic diner coffee. We found the prices reasonable. All told this was a great breakfast and worth another spurge someday. Follow up at JazzyPigs Roadtrippers for more fun reviews

Great food. Friendly staff. Small dining area, but well worth a visit. I would highly recommend this place and when I'm back in town again, will certainly eat there again.

We camped at Wilderness RV and walked over to check out the cafe and candy store and knew we had to eat. We were there for breakfast but ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. Everything was DELICIOUS! That meatloaf was truly homestyle with onions cooked into the middle. I also ordered the hit chocolate which was amazing too. Not watery but also not overly rich.

Diner
Breakfast restaurant
If you're cruising through Silver Springs, Florida, make sure to stop by Darrell's Dog Gone Good Diner for a delightful dining experience. This charming dive diner is known for its hearty breakfast and brunch options, including perfectly cooked over medium eggs and flavorful hash browns loaded with fresh onions and green peppers. The rye bread served here stands out as well—no flimsy slices in sight! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a staff that genuinely cares about your experience.
Victor is a GREAT Server. The food and coffee were very hot and delicious, I loved it! The atmosphere was welcoming and I love how much they support local businesses! Come to this Darrell’s Dog Gone Good Diner across the street from wal-mart. The service is awesome!

This is a dive diner, so the stars are based on what it is in its class of establishments. The waitress was attentive. Philly was good. The fries were not great. The rest of my party liked their food. They charge a 3.9% surcharge for credit cards and a $3 sharing charge for plate sharing.

Fun local spot in Ocala. I have eaten here 2x and was very pleased both times. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Staff is super awesome, and the service is quick & attentive. I will be back.

Our 2 favorite Darrell's is #11 & S Pine.. Staff are friendly & make you feel at home.. Food is excellent!

Food was great. I loved the FRESH onions and green peppers in my hash browns. Over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. Rye bread was hearty; not the cheap stuff that's served at other places. Everyone there was hustling to get the job done, and did it with a smile. Definitely worth the stop on our drive across the state.

We had a terrific late lunch here today after a visit to Silver Springs state park. Excellent diner food and friendly service. Prices were better than I expected. Good spot, I'd go again.

I stopped in for breakfast this morning and I’m not sure what’s going on but there is no AC inside this place. I ordered coffee and food and I couldn’t even drink my coffee it was too hot to sit inside the restaurant. The servers are literally dripping with sweat while they’re carrying food to tables. This is really ridiculous and unacceptable not only for customers but the servers and staff stuck inside. I don’t recommend stopping here until they get some AC in there!! Shame on the owners!!!

Pizza restaurant
Italian restaurant
If you find yourself in the area after exploring Silver Springs, make sure to stop by Silver Springs Pizza. This charming eatery boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented by friendly staff who ensure quick service. The establishment is well-maintained and clearly cherished by its team. I indulged in their 12-inch Bianca pizza, which was absolutely delightful and more than enough for both me and my boyfriend. They even provided napkins, plates, parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes for our takeout!
Happened to stumble across this place after visiting silver springs and so glad we stopped! From friendly employees, to quick service speed and overall so cozy and clean! You can tell this building is definitely loved on by staff and the food follows suit! We got a 12 inch Bianca pizza that was SO yummy and filled up myself and my hungry boyfriend. They even gave us napkins, plates, parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes in a bag to go! HIGHLY recommend!

Has changed, and every week, they change. No more fountain drinks, no more dinner entrée, garlic knots taste like crispy balls. From my favorite restaurant to now, this unrecognizable taste and quality. How sad the pizza.

In town with family and we passed this place on the way to our hotel. Starving after a full day in Silver Springs we ordered a pizza, wings and a salad. As a Veteran I look for Veteran owned businesses. Food was fresh and tasty. My family was happy and so was I. Recommend

Had better experience dinning in... Choice of the cheese burger with fries and also ordered 10 wings... The burger was one of the best burgers I've yet had to try in my life!! Good flavor , juicy . The buns were toasted perfectly along with the crispy flavorful fries that came along with it.... The wings were a shock to me .... I give two thumbs up and also my two fat toes 😂🤣😅 haven't had real wings since I moved down to Florida from upstate New York.. seems many places either bake toast or microwave their wings ... These were really fried wings and jumbo too... I will be going back for more of their menu GREAT PLACE

Overall the food was good. We ordered spaghetti and meatball and a 16 inch pizza with cheese on one half sausage and pepperoni on the other half. It is literally right as you exit the Silver Springs park so very convenient. The grandkids enjoyed so that’s what matters!! No Wifi so that was unfortunate even though it lists a guest signon.

Simply the worst tasting subs. I ordered an Italian for dining in and a meatball sub to go with an ice tea and French fries. These subs are very small there's no type of dressing or condiments on sub and the bread is very dooughy/spongy tasting very cheap bread, fries are super small and again lacked any taste whatsoever the meatball sub same thing cheap meat lack luster taste each sub cost $11 and meatballs sub cost $12 ridiculous prices for substandard food. If you truly want a great big super tasting g sub please go to Christina's Subs on Marion camp road. They are Cash only business. you will never eat subs anywhere else.

Excellent food, great staff, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. I like staff who knows how to recommend dishes and who have tried them themselves to give you honest and open opinions. Thanks for being a great member of our community

Our first visit and great meal at Silver Springs Pizza which should be Silver Springs Italian. It was a busy Friday at 5:45 but we were promptly seated. There are 6 seats at the bar but many tables and booths. Our server, Katrina, was excellent and quickly took our drink order. Beers were cold. We then ordered a steak cheese and chicken cheese subs. They came out in a reasonable amount of time and were delicious. The meat to roll ratio was perfect. They include mushrooms onions and peppers that didn’t overwhelm the meat. The bun was crisp on the outside tender on the inside. Chicken was chunks. DW prefers chicken shredded in chicken cheese subs but said it was good. All the food looked good. Many ordered pasta and the pizza looked yummy. Check out was effective using a QR code on the receipt since Katrina was delivering orders. Take out is available too.
