Kokum Kitchen is a contemporary dining gem nestled within an international hotel, offering stunning sea views and vibrant live kitchens. This all-day diner is celebrated for its diverse menu that spans Continental, Goan, North Indian, and Oriental cuisines. Renowned as one of Goa's premier seafood spots, Kokum Kitchen combines trendy interiors with artistic food presentation to create a memorable culinary experience.
Kokum is the hotel’s buffet restaurant and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Indian breakfast section provides a fine selection of delicious foods. The Indian urban crow provides entertainment. This bird is far more intelligent and personable than its European counterpart and defeats the complex system of netting to collect its breakfast. This provides a pleasant distraction from the people committed to eating breakfast whilst loudly on the phone. This species is now ubiquitous. The pool is outside and frequented by squealers and screechers. These are two species of Indian children and protected ; though nowhere near extinction. Staff have exquisite manners and provide attentive service. The food was a very good quality and varied. We were here for 10 days. And hope to come again. Thanks team.

Everything is perfect from food , service, atmosphere to views. The staff deserves a special mention for service, politeness and attention to every guests.
Ashish S — Google review
Food was quite average with only soup being the best among at least 15 things that we ordered. The staff is quite clumsy - from serving wrong food items to making so much noise in handling utensils and I even saw a staff keeping a dropped knife back on the bread cutting board without cleaning it. The atmosphere is good because it offers sea view but the staff’s kitchen noise was enough to spoil the atmosphere. Even the food we got packed had no tissues or cutlery in addition to it being wrong items (plain paratha instead of aloo paratha that I got packed for my baby). All in all - they need to train their staff in cooking as well as hospitality

It was a great dining experience. We had the most perfectly cooked Aglio Olio pasta till date. Service is also very good.

We ate at Kokum during our stay at Taj and enjoyed Breakfast and Dinner buffet for 2 days. It definitely is a 5 star experience, starting from hospitality, location, variety, food quality or taste - all is 10/10. Mr. Vincent during evenings is the best company you can find to have a light hearted chit chat - he never fails to make you laugh and feel welcome. The chefs are extremely accommodating and tailor the live food options basis your taste.

We had a buffet dinner there. Every thing was excellent. Special mention of serving staff Mohit. He is very friendly and took special care of our family and made our evening amazing.

One of the great experience I had in dining in Goa. The staff is very helpful and polite. I had been for both non Buffet and the buffet course, tasty food. Very close to the beach side with a great ambience. Great place to get your family and friends. I can get some great pictures over here. One can just sit down and relax in the garden facing the fort and beach.

Italian restaurant
Paper Moon in Goa is a part of the renowned Paper Moon franchise from Milan, Italy. It offers an upscale ambiance and attentive service. The restaurant serves elevated Italian cuisine with high-quality ingredients and innovative dishes. The wine selection and cocktail options are sophisticated, making it a perfect spot for food enthusiasts. Visitors can indulge in authentic Italian dining with standout dishes like Pizza Primavera, tiramisu, and Gelato that exceed expectations.
If you’re looking for delicious Italian food in Goa, Paper Moon is an excellent destination. Right from the ambience and interiors to the food, service and value for money, the restaurant does not disappoint. The best part is that you can ask for customisations in your food and they are more than willing to accommodate. Overall, a lovely experience and satisfaction guaranteed.

This is an Italian restaurant and the head chef is Italian trained. The standard of the food is first rate whether it be meat, lobster or a simple pasta dish. The service is also impressive and a big improvement on their European counterparts. We Europeans have forgotten the fine art of obsequious servitude coupled with overt superiority. Yes it is quite possible to maintain contrary positions simultaneously. Enough philosophy; well done team Paper Moon.

Very good Italian restaurant. Best dip of vinegar and olive oil served with their own bread. Simple and tasty Bruschetta. Very good pizza.
Rajeev D — Google review
Amazing Italian experience! The pizza were spot on — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. Mr Yash who attended our table was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great time. Highly recommend this place for true Italian vibes!

As a food enthusiast with a particular love for Italian cuisine, I recently discovered an authentic Italian Restaurant Called Paper Moon at Taj Agorda Fort, Goa. Eager to indulge in an authentic Italian Dining experience, my wife and I decided to sample various dishes, including Pizza Primavera, tiramisu, and Gelato. To my delight, I found that pizza surpassed all my expectations and stands as the best I have ever tasted. The entire experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the authenticity of the Italian cuisine. Upon expressing my appreciation to the Manager, Mr. Gurvinder, I was promptly introduced to the talented chef Aashutosh, who graciously took the time to greet us and share insights into the culinary artistry behind the delectable dishes we savoured.

I’m European. For almost two weeks I have had the worst food poisoning of my life, probably from prawn during monsoon season here, my mistake. That wasn’t my issue with the food, I tried a lot of dishes as a big table, there was something wrong with all of them: sauce no flavour at all, pastas too salty, pizza too oily, dessert just bad consistency. The food isn’t terrible but simply not worth eating. Considering the quality of the food it’s very expensive. Friendly staff and nice location. Atmosphere and decor is simply OK.

Wonderful experience with Yash serving us and of course the manager gurvinder singh ji whose hospitality leave us with so many memories over here. Will come again and again here. Thank u paper and moon. Thanks for the cake gurvinder ji for our anniversary celebration...

We visited Papermoon at Taj Fort Aguada after hearing about their special Goa Monsoon Feast, and opted for the 4-course menu – easily one of the best dining decisions we’ve made in Goa. Every single dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and perfectly portioned. The experience was so good, we ended up returning again the very next week! The ambiance is sophisticated yet cozy, with an elegant setup that perfectly complements the vibe. The service was top-notch – a special shout-out to Yash, who took the time to explain each course in detail and made us feel genuinely welcomed. If you're in Goa and love Italian cuisine, Papermoon is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back again!

Seafood restaurant
Kokni Kanteen in Goa offers a taste of coastal Konkani cuisine in a homely setting with red laterite walls and vintage props. The restaurant, styled as a 1970s canteen, is known for its delicious fish thali and popular among locals and tourists alike. The decor takes you back to an old-world charm with chili clusters hanging on the walls and ceramic bharnis lining the shelves.
Went in for lunch on a weekday in off season, the place was still buzzing with patrons and tourists. The place has got a old world character, although the interiors have been modernized. Had Shravan Special thali and it was bursting with flavours. Also ordered veg stuffed papad and it was the perfect starter. The service was quick and staff was polite and helpful. First, they asked us if we were OK to share the table because of the rush, we agreed, but later when a table for 2 got empty, they quickly shifted us there without us asking them. Full marks for heartwarming service and food. They have earned another patron.

Although the place is always crowded, the food and serve is up to the mark. I love going here during my holidays because I get the food very quickly after ordering. This time I went there with my fiancé and we had a lovely time. The waiters put in so much effort to make this place work. The chefs are amazing people too who serve us good food.
Joycee F — Google review
We visited Kokni Canteen, Goa, about two weeks ago with my family. The place was packed, and we had to wait nearly two hours for our turn at lunch. The restaurant specializes in a variety of fish dishes and thalis, clearly inspired by the Maharashtrian coastal style of cooking, even though it’s located in Goa. As a Keralite, I found some of the flavours—like the slightly sweet sardine curry—a bit unfamiliar and not quite matching my usual taste preferences. Still, the meal was well-prepared, and the overall experience was pleasant. However, considering the long waiting time, I’m not entirely sure if it was worth the two-hour wait.

We visited Goa in the month of October during Diwali holidays. We wanted to have the best Goan thali and Google recommend us this Kokni kanteen in Panjim. The food was out of this world, we had red snapper, bombil fry, fish thali, chicken vindaloo, and sweet dish bebinca and their recommendations. Everything was beyond words. But you have to go little early as the waiting time could be more at least 1/2 hr but I tell you u won’t regret. We waited for almost an hour and never regret. It will be now our favourite place to eat in Panjim Goa. Thank you @Kokni Kanteen for serving great quality food and service.

Tried their Fish Thali along with a Kokum Mojito. The Kokum Mojito was very refreshing and a perfect drink to go with the meal. The thali overall was good, but the fish and prawn curries really stood out — they were absolutely awesome in taste and went perfectly with the rice. I did have to wait around 45 minutes for my order, which was a bit long, but the good ambience and relaxing vibe of the place made the wait more bearable. Overall, a nice spot for seafood lovers who appreciate authentic Goan flavors.

Konkan Canteen offers a perfect Goan vibe — relaxed, warm, and full of local charm. The ambience is cozy and inviting, ideal for spending a slow, peaceful evening. A paradise for non-veg lovers, the menu brings authentic Goan flavours to every bite. Pair your meal with a drink of your choice and let the soft Goan music set the mood, a truly delightful experience that captures the spirit of Goa.

Ideal place for authentic goan food. Though there's a long wait(we had to wait for more than 45mins for a table), the food is worth the wait. We had fish thali consisting of Surmai(king fish) fry, delicious Ambotik, pomfret curry, vegetable, fish rassa & rice, kokum solkadi & gulab jamun. Also had crisp and tasty Bombay duck(bombil) & surmai fry separately. The restaurant was packed to it's gills but service was fast, helpful & courteous. Popular for konkani cuisine, patrons just prefer the long wait to savour the delectable offerings. Highly recommended & a must visit while in Goa!!

Visited this place last Sunday & the vibes inside this place are sublime. We visited for dinner & we had to wait for around 15 minutes as the tables were occupied. We ordered butter chicken & Goa & Malvani kombdi gravy, which I think the gravy was not upto the mark, the gravy was not thick enough. Also, local seafood were way too costly. Overall the food dishes served were mediocre.

Goan restaurant
Mum's Kitchen is a cozy restaurant in Panaji, offering traditional Goan cuisine with a focus on authentic, home-cooked flavors. The owners, Suzette and Rony, have delved into household recipes to capture the essence of Goan culinary heritage. The menu features a diverse range of dishes representing Hindu, Christian, and Portuguese influences from across Goa. This establishment has been a go-to spot for those seeking an immersive experience of local Goan food since 1997.
Excellent place with authentic Goa cuisines. The whole place from the entry to the decor is very unique and earthen. It provides a very new experience for dining. Service staff were excellent and helped to recommend the right food. The service and the whole dining experience was exceptional. Kudos to the staff. There are limited vegetarian options but the food stays true to the Goan traditions. Serradura is a highly recommended dessert for Mum’s Kitchen.

Excellent dining experience at Mum's kitchen. Servers were faultless, the country music was superb, and food was fantastic! We had the baby tiger prawns with probably the best masala rava fry we've tasted in Goa. The prawns & okra curry (Olga's) was perfect with Goan rice, and felt authentic. We loved the gravy so much we needed an extra portion of rice! Feijoada was decent, but perhaps lacking in quantity of chouriço. Overall, the perfect dining experience - a must-visit whilst in Panjim.

Lovely place with cool vibes and warm service. Stopped by Mum’s Kitchen for dinner and really liked the relaxed, homely atmosphere — it’s one of those places that immediately makes you slow down and enjoy your meal. The staff were polite and attentive, and service was smooth. The Chonak (rava fry) I tried was delicious — fresh fish, nicely crisped, and perfectly seasoned. Good selection for seafood lovers! That said, the menu is a bit limited and slightly on the pricier side — for example, just one veg soup and one non-veg soup option. And ₹5200 for 3 people. Only 1 non-vegiteran 😅 But overall, it’s a great spot to experience authentic Goan flavors in a calm, comfortable setting.

Mum's Kitchen is a cozy place nestled in a very good area of Goa.You visit the tourist places nearby and then can spend Brunch or Lunch here. We went for family lunch of 6 people and could easily find seat with 10-15 minutes waiting. This place a is aheaven for NON Veg options. I recommend Vindalhoo of all types. However do not recommend much to vegetarians, very limited assortment, which will feel slightly pricey too. However overall a good place for authentic Goan sea food lovers.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant in Goa. The Goan food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and every dish was cooked to perfection. The ambiance and atmosphere were equally wonderful—relaxing, vibrant, and truly gave the Goan vibe. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Goa.

We drove from Margao to Panjim just to dine at Mum’s Kitchen and boy oh boy, it was well worth. The food stood out authentic and yummy, however the entire lunch experience was well curated with the warmth and hospitality of the team. This is one of the few places in Goa which retains its identity. Impeccable service, awesome playlist of country songs, premium crockery cutlery and glassware, well maintained restaurant. If look at the table in detail, you would notice a bag hook on one of the legs. All in all it was a truly memorable experience. Thank you team. Will come back soon. 😊
