Margaret River

Margaret River is a small town south of Perth in western Australia, known for its craft breweries, boutiques and surrounding wineries. Beaches and surf breaks line the nearby coast, whose waters host migratory whales (Jun–Nov). Stretching between 2 lighthouses north and south of the town, the long-distance walk, the Cape to Cape Track, fringes the limestone caves and sea cliffs of Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park.

Farmers' market
Food & Drink
The Margaret River Farmers Market is a must-visit year-round Saturday market that showcases the best of local produce, flowers, and gourmet foods. It's not just a place to shop; it's an opportunity to connect with the producers and artisans behind the products. With strict guidelines for vendors, you can be sure that you're getting top-quality goods directly from the source.
Lovely local market with a genuine community feel. Lots of delicious food and the very best quality produce available.

My family and I were really impressed by the market! Awesome variety of stalls, friendly stallholders, great prices, had amazing experience there!
Ольга З — Google review
If you've never been, you're missing out. Fresh organic produce, great coffee and pastries.
Justin Y — Google review
Nice farmers market with a decent amount of stalls (maybe around 20 to 30). Selling almost everything from fruit n veg, bread, eggs, uncooked pasta, handmade goods, wines and spirits, coffee vans and some food. All produce and goods are locally grown or produced. Parking is very limited and gets extra busy during long weekends. Pets are not allowed.
Kimberly S — Google review
This is the only farmers market that I've enjoyed. Unlike the farmer's markets in Indonesia, which are indoors and mostly smelly, this one gives you fresh air and is outdoors with loyal people. I tried a chocolate and banana crêpe in one of the stalls, and it was freshly served and had a wonderful taste. There are only 2 people in the cart so it might be long to get your order when crowded. Mostly they use carts so if it's closing time, simply drive the cart and get it done. And I think most people don't like the opening and closing time here since it's open once a week for 3-4. But to be honest, I like this farmer's market. 4.9/10

We love farmers markets and the one at Margaret River is no exception. Everything looked good but because there was a limit to what we could consume and because we had no idea which stalls to choose from, we simply followed the crowd and joined the longest queues. We were not disappointed with our choices. Everything we are on the spot tasted fresh and the ones that we bought home to eat later in the day were also excellent.

When we in Margaret River we always go to the Farmer's Market. They start bright and early 07:30 until 11:30 only on Saturdays. Friendly people awesome produce and lots more. Be there early so you don’t miss out. The Nannup Cheese 🥳😋 so…. delicious!
Chris S — Google review
Nothing for the kids to play on or with. 20 minute walk around and was finished looking/shopping. Couldn't see any tables and chairs to sit ,eat or relax. Over priced fruit in many stalls holders. Purchased Mull wine which is very nice . Not sure as a tourist if I would make the effort to return 🤔

Winery
Leeuwin Estate is a sprawling winery in the Margaret River Region that offers tastings, tours, an upscale restaurant, and a contemporary art gallery. The estate's modern menu, led by head chef Dan Gedge, features dishes like wagyu cheek and sirloin with smoked onion puree and mushroom jus. Visitors can also explore the art gallery that inspires Leeuwin Estate's labels.
An unforgettable experience at Leeuwin Estate! From the moment we arrived, Leeuwin Estate exceeded all expectations. The setting is absolutely stunning — panoramic vineyard views, beautifully landscaped grounds, and a serene atmosphere that made the whole visit feel truly special. We enjoyed a divine 3-course lunch at the restaurant, and every dish was a work of art — perfectly balanced, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. A huge thank you to Marina, whose service was exceptional throughout. Warm, knowledgeable, and attentive, she made our dining experience feel seamless and genuinely welcoming. The wine, of course, was the star of the show. Each glass was a delight — elegant, complex, and a perfect match with the food. We especially loved the Estate Brut, a true standout. Leeuwin Estate offers the perfect blend of fine dining, world-class wines, and natural beauty. A must-visit if you’re in Margaret River. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely amazing lunch — every dish was beautifully presented with creative garnishes and flavour combinations that worked perfectly. The museum wine pairing was excellent, and they even kindly split it for us since one of us was driving. The property itself is stunning and so peaceful. Easily one of the highlights of our trip!

My best meal in southern Australia. We had the tasting menu for lunch. Everything was good. Make sure to book in advance, especially on weekends. Not sure about the wines as I was the designated driver :(
JL — Google review
We came pretty late in the day that what was left was the wine tasting. The service was 70/30. The male server was friendlier, took his time to explain each wine despite having to take care of another couple. The ladies behind the counter, their service etiquette should be re-checked. On a positive note, I thought their rosé was fantastic.
Faulyne G — Google review
Returned after 19 years to celebrate my husband's birthday with the 6 course degustation lunch. We also brought a 2005 Chardonnay we'd purchased on our last visit. While the setting and food were lovely, we were disappointed by two service issues. First, we were told that there would be a corkage fee for our wine (even it was from their own vineyard). As returning customers who'd kept the bottle for nearly two decades, this felt very unwelcoming and left a 'bitter taste' particularly as we were also doing the premium wine matching. Other wineries we've visited celebrate when customers bring back aged bottles from their own production. Second, the white wines were served too cold which significantly impacted their pairing with the courses and our ability to fully appreciate their quality. For such an established winery, proper wine service should be a given. The staff were friendly, but these issues impacted what should have been a very special celebration. Just do better.

Delicious food and stunning scenery. Intimate dining space with attentive but not intrusive service. Favourite dishes would be the Margaret river Wagyu, Patagonian tooth fish and blue cheese with financier dessert 👌

Great lunch spot and I recommend taking the outdoor seatings as its a vibe! Had their seasonal menu and everything was just on-point; food, wine and service. A must-try whenever you are in Margaret River.

Cam was incredibly warm and knowledgeable, we had a super day today at the estate. The Art and Art Series tour was wonderful as was the 3 course degustatation lunch after.

Bakery
Margaret River Bakery is a beloved European-inspired bakery that has been serving up fresh pastries and top-notch coffee since the 1960s. Whether you're grabbing a quick treat, meeting friends for brunch, or just looking for a cozy spot to enjoy your coffee, this funky bakery has something for everyone. Their breakfast options are particularly popular, and visitors can also find them at the Margaret River farmers market on the last Saturday of every month.
This is an excellent place for breakfast. Came early about 7+, otherwise the queue will start forming and also the seatings are quite limited. Ordered the bacon and ham croissant and the beef pie. The croissant was very crispy and flavorful while the beef pie was chunky.

Was looking for a breakfast place, and found this. Lovely little place. We had the cinnamon bun & strawberry filled donut. Very sweet but still good. Would come back!

A few really great vegan options here. There is a vegan baguette and a vegan pumpkin bagel; both are pre-made with various vegetables in them and hummus as the spread. There is also a vegan vanilla and passionfruit cupcake. I had the bagel and cupcake - both were delicious. Great spot for a quick stopover. Didn’t get coffee but I imagine it would’ve been good too. Service was friendly and efficient.

My friend recommended me this Bakery. And I have to say, this is by far the best bakery in Margaret River. I had mushroom Benedict wrap and it was really yummy. I then ordered sweet pastries like the hazelnut choc twist and pistachio bun which was so decadent. Recommend this to anyone and everyone. It has the fastest service too!!

Such a fabulous eclectic café even though its extremely busy it has that old world charm. Excellent food and very quick service this cafe is an icon for margaret river. Delicious

We visited everyday we were in Margaret River and loved it. Coffee was unreal, we tried something different everyday and couldn’t fault it. Bread was fluffy, all bakery items were fresh, and the fresh case was full and vibrant! So reasonably priced as well. There was always a bit of a line, but don’t be discouraged, the team fly through it and know how to handle their rush.

Lovely for a good breakfast or brunch with a nice variety of salt or sweet foods. Very nice cafe. Very cozy place and fully occupied during weekends. Very nice vibes if even you have to eat stand-up..lol. Sunday morning you might have someone doing some live music.

We learned about this location and were delighted to have finally dined here. The bread is indeed excellent. Getting a table was difficult, but luckily we shared with a lady who was dining alone. The sofa seats look dirty and old, and they sink when you sit, which is quite uncomfortable.

Voyager Estate is a family-owned vineyard known for its organic wines and upscale offerings. The estate features an elegant Cape Dutch-styled winery with a renowned restaurant, shop, and event spaces for weddings. With the arrival of chef Santiago Fernandez, the dining experience has been elevated with multi-course options showcasing local produce. The estate is committed to environmental sustainability and celebrates the Margaret River Region through its carefully crafted wines.
What a wonderful experience! Everything was delicious, and the wine pairs very well with everything they planned for a wine experience. The only thing that lacks flavor is the meat. Thank you, Lara, You took such good care of our special day. We were very happy with all your attention and kindness.

We had a wonderful time at Voyager Estate! The wine tasting experience was top-notch — the staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to explain each wine in detail, which made the session really enjoyable even for those of us who aren’t wine experts. The setting is beautiful too, with stunning gardens and a calm, elegant atmosphere that made the visit feel extra special. One highlight that we didn’t expect was their grape sparkling juice — it’s absolutely delicious! Perfect for non-drinkers or those wanting a refreshing alternative. We ended up bringing a few bottles home because it was just that good. Highly recommend stopping by Voyager Estate if you’re in Margaret River. Whether you’re into wine or just looking for a relaxing and refined experience, this place is definitely worth the visit.

Chenin Blancs and Chardonnays lacked the complexity, whilst the Cabs were significantly more interesting. As a serious wine enthusiast and having paid AUD 65 for the Savour Voyager experience, I should have picked a less busy season to visit. Do not travel here on the 1st week of October, under staffed and over booked. I wish I would have enjoyed the experience more, alas it was not to be.

We had a one-day trip in Margaret River, and Voyager Estate was one of the places we were most excited to visit — and it didn’t disappoint! We only went to three places that day, and this one truly stood out. Renzo from Argentina accommodated us for the wine tasting, and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He explained everything so well and made the experience enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend visiting Voyager Estate — great wines, beautiful setting, and excellent service! 🍷

The estate is one of the nicest I've ever been too. There are so many options of wineries available in Margaret River and when you're driving (and not drinking) to choose one is really hard! This estate is gorgeous and they do a wine tasting (5wines for $20) but there were 3 of us and we did all 10 wines for $40 which was a bargain for the quality of wine. The staff were really knowledgeable, kind and helpful too. The wines are GORGEOUS, particularly enjoyed the Syrah. Highly recommend visiting here. They have lots of wine tasting with food packages but the counter top tasting we did was just at the counter. The only feedback I would suggest is a 'mini' cheese, bread and olive plate that can acompany counter wine tasting (more to keep you sober). We definitely would have purchased. Overall, absolutely excellent experience and beautiful wines.

We had a wonderful experience at Voyager Estate. From the moment we arrived, the place looked stunning. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the variety of flowers is amazing. Izzy took care of our tasting and she was fantastic. Some of us spoke Spanish, and she did the tasting in both English and Spanish, which made everything feel very welcoming and personal. We were also visiting with a small child, and she kindly offered him some grape juice so he could feel included — such a thoughtful detail! After the tasting, we shared a platter at the outdoor tables. The food was great and so was the wine (we especially loved the Syrah). Then we walked around the gardens, where our little one had the best time watching the ducks and playing with his ball. Overall, a truly lovely experience. Highly recommended!

Restaurant
Settlers Tavern is a lively joint located in Margaret River, offering outdoor seating, live music, and a selection of local craft beers on tap. While popular spots like Morries and Muster Bar and Grill are frequently recommended by locals, Settlers Tavern stands out for its classic pub favorites and innovative dishes. Despite its dated 70's decor, this old school Aussie Tavern surprises visitors with excellent pub grub and an impressive wine list.
Situated on the Main Street in Margs the Settlers Tavern is both a bar and restaurant with a great atmosphere. Note though that the restaurant does not stay open late so either arrive early evening or check on arrival what time the kitchen closes. We ordered the sausage & mash and Lamb shank. Both were lovely and paired well with a glass of the local red wine Leeuwin estate Shiraz. Prices are reasonable and the menu has a decent selection. If you want something more town to earth and homely then Settlers is for you.
Shaun L — Google review
This is always a good place to get a decent feed. Had an enormous lamb shank on a very smooth mash with some carrots and beans. It was cooked very well and much nicer than the one I had a couple of days ago at another Perth Tavern. Partner had the pan seared fish of the day which was pink snapper. She said it was one of the nicest fish she has had in a long time. Highly recommend.

Located in the heart of Margaret River town, this eatery cum bar serves a large variety of menu items. We had mostly seafood - chili mussels, seafood chowder, fried calamari and Caesar salad dishes and they were alright - nothing to rave about. We came on a Friday afternoon and their service level were abit patchy. Nonetheless the location is convenient, easy to access with a pleasant environment.
M L — Google review
Good atmosphere on a busy friday night. Staff had a little too much to do and not everything want smoothly but it is expected on week end. The meat was actually rare (which was asked) and that is rare enough to be mentionned 👌🏻 concert started a Little later at the venue. Only thing missing on that night would have been a couple extra pool table to play and a larger amount of bubbles in the almost flat beer.

One of my favourite places for steak and local beers in Margaret River. Great atmosphere, decent food and drinks menu, friendly staff and suppliers of fine comfort food.

We had a great lunch here. Nice atmosphere, especially the non-smoking outdoor area at the back of the restaurant. Burgers and kids' meals were a good size.

Casual, friendly, pub dining at its best in the heart of Margaret River. Easy online booking, a must during busy periods. Great selection of beers, local wines etc. and tasty pub-grub. Child friendly. Cosy in winter.

Settlers Tavern is our go to place for lunch whenever in Margaret River. Food is consistently excellent, and we love the theme of using local produce. Their selection of wines and other beverages is superb. I enjoyed a delicious non-alcoholic German wheat beer with my lunch. There's plenty of wonderful dining choices in this part of our state, and this is one of the best.

Miki's Open Kitchen is a laid-back restaurant that offers innovative Japanese cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients and a selection of sake. The restaurant is renowned for its interpretation of the Japanese omakase dining experience, where the chef creates a personalized culinary journey for each guest. This approach allows diners to enjoy a unique adventure as they savor meticulously crafted dishes that combine Japanese techniques with the fresh produce of Margaret River.
What an extraordinary experience! We made a last minute booking at this gem of a restaurant in Margaret River township and we were absolutely blown away. The food is meticulously crafted right before your eyes as you sit around the kitchen counter by a team of chefs that were so well coordinated that they hardly needed to speak - it was almost zen-like. All dishes are made from local produce which creates an incredible fusion of Japanese and Australian. For our meal we chose the Sake pairing which made it even more interesting. I have dined at Michelin rated restaurants all around the world and this is right up there with them - possibly even better than many of them!

5 stars for an awesome dining experience. We enjoyed every aspect of the Miki's complete menu. I also had the non alcoholic drinks pairing which was very different but really enjoyable. Fun experience watching the staff prepare the food like a well oiled machine. The attention to detail was superb. Thankyou!!!!

This is an exceptional Michelin level Japanese inspired restaurant which would be highly acclaimed in New York, London, Sydney. It is also perfectly at home in Margaret River which is a world leader in wines.
OuLa L — Google review
This place was recommended to us several times. It's not like a normal a la carte restaurant.... You get a tasting menu - everybody gets the same - unless you have allergies etc. It can be combined with matching alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. It was an amazing feast! You think you won't be full at the end of it because the bites are tiny, but there are so many! And every bite was delicious! Well worth the expense as a once in a lifetime event. Book well in advance unless you go in the middle of the week in the low season, and even then, it was booked out!

We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious and showcases the best of WA produce in innovative flavour combinations. Dining is not just a meal but an experience watching the precision and teamwork of the staff in the kitchen. Highly recommend.

11/10 dining experience. Not traditional Japanese food but a fusion of fine Western Australian produce presented by an extremely talented Chef and his excellent staff. My wife and I love to dine here a couple of times each year.
Greg O — Google review
We had a group of six dine at Miki Open Kitchen, where we ordered the Miki Complete menu along with an additional side. The dishes were beautifully presented, reminiscent of fine dining creations, and the flavours were truly memorable. It was an unforgettable Omakase experience—nearly perfect in taste, offering a level of flavour that’s hard to find anywhere else but at Miki. While the price was on the higher side at around $120 per person (excluding drinks), it was well worth the splurge for a special night out. That said, we were disappointed by the corkage policy. At $15 per person, the corkage fee ended up costing more than the bottle of red wine we brought. Considering that most of our group doesn’t drink, the charge felt excessive and unnecessary. On a positive note, the staff were exceptionally friendly and served us with genuine smiles. Their pride in working at such a well-regarded establishment was evident. Five stars for the exquisite food.
Kelvin L — Google review
An experience like no other! I have never been to a restaurant with such synchronised service. Every meal is delivered on que to the tables together. It is exciting. The open kitchen is great - watching the chefs curate beautiful dishes gets you salivating for what is to come! The produce is fresh and delicious with an Asian fusion twist. The mocktails were beautiful, I bet a cocktails would be delicious. They were also very accomodating with my egg-allergy, and my mums shellfish allergy. Highly recommend if you are in Margaret River!

Modern Australian restaurant
Morries is a popular spot in Margaret River known for its modern Australian cuisine and cocktails. It has an industrial-chic ambiance with live music and other events. While many recommend well-known places like Muster Bar and Grill, Settlers Tavern, Swings Taphouse, and Miki's Open Kitchen, there are also hidden gems like La Scarpetta, an Italian Trattoria with a focus on Sardinian food.
My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible Spanish tapas restaurant. We were lucky to get a table by going early for dinner—by the looks of it, bookings are absolutely essential as people were getting turned away. The food was exceptional, with bold, authentic flavours. Every dish we tried was perfectly crafted and absolutely delicious. We were fortunate to have this gem recommended by a local. The service was fantastic. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great food.

Each of the meals and drinks we had were delicious; full of flavour and unique tastes. The food came out quickly and was well priced. The restaurant itself was nice, well lit, had comfortable couches quiet and respectful The level of customer service could have been improved and elevated. The team should have introduced what the food was. when they delivered each plate to the table.

We had the duck liver pate, pork belly and braised beef cheek between the three of us. The dishes were really tasty and great quality! The cocktails (Rum Float and Bloody Mary), were also really good! We sat in the area by the door as it was a bit quieter than the main area, which had a few large groups. I'd definitely recommend a visit!

Could not be more in love with this place! At the top end of town, in the heart of Margaret River, this was a winner for me. From the decor, to the art and atmosphere, to the exceptionally delicious food made for sharing, to the wine list and service, everything was beyond on point. Like the book, "Tuesdays With Morrie" by Mitch Albom, on which this restaurant is themed, it stole my heart. I will definitely be back!

Loved it from the moment we stepped in for dinner without a booking. Politely told we have a table available but you will need to leave by 7pm. No problems at all. Happy hour drinks delivered in short time followed by our delicious tapas type dishes….ceviche snapper, scallop, duck fat spuds, belly pork, broccoli and pumpkin dishes. Every one scrumptious and devoured heartily.

The staff we very accomodating with a special need that we had, having taken the time to read my booking note and prepare ahead of time. This meant a lot us. The food was impeccable. Much thought that had gone into the creation of the vegetarian dishes - like no other. Event the carnivores on the table even enjoyed them. :)

Extremely Disappointing Experience Had high hopes for Morries Restaurant in Margaret River, especially as I booked it for my partner’s 30th birthday — but what a letdown. The customer service was among the worst we’ve experienced: unwelcoming staff, very poor hospitality, and long wait times to be seated even with a booking. The food also took far too long considering the price point. The restaurant itself felt cramped, with tables packed so tightly it was hard to relax or enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, a disappointing experience and certainly not worth the hype or cost. Would not recommend.

Pizza restaurant
Nestled beneath another restaurant, Pizzica Italian Restaurant, Pizzeria & Charcoal Grill Cuisine is a hidden gem offering more than just pizza. Owner Ivan Zecca and his skilled Italian staff have created an authentic Italian experience in the heart of Australian wine country. While their thin-crust pizzas are a highlight, the wood-fired meats and puccia (stuffed calzone-like breads) are equally impressive. The 400-gram T-bone steak is particularly noteworthy.
Me and my friends came to Pizzaica for a birthday dinner two weeks ago, and let me tell you it was worth it! Obviously seeing the prices sit around the $30 - $40 range we were a little be skeptical about the portions and quality of the food, but trust me when I tell you that for what you get, it is immaculate. We shared an arrangement of four pizzas across the table with a bowl of chips and a few other side dishes, and it was worth it! Although overall, I think what really made Pizzaica stand out against most other restaurants you would go to is the amazing hospitality and service provided by a servers, especially a man named Mica. He looked after our table all night, provided constant refills for water, and wasn’t afraid to chat us up and make us feel really welcomed! Our whole group was praising him the entire night on the stream incredible service he provided us! Overall I would 100% recommend any newcomers in Margaret river to hit up Pizzaica and just get a nice stack of different pizzas to share around the table! (Also sorry for the late review haha I didn’t forget I sweat!)

Pizzica Italian Restaurant in Margaret River is an interesting spot on the main strip, easy to find and inviting from the outside. Inside, the decor leans towards kitschy, which gives it a unique charm and makes the setting memorable. The staff were attentive, though they lacked a bit of enthusiasm, which might leave some guests feeling the service was a bit flat despite being prompt. The food focuses on simple, classic Italian fare, with pizzas that highlight fresh ingredients and traditional flavors. While the dishes are satisfying, the prices feel a bit high for what you receive, especially considering the straightforwardness of the menu. Overall, it’s a nice place for Italian food, but you may leave thinking it could offer a bit more value for the cost.

Pizzica is a lovely spot to grab a pizza. Their prices however are not justifiable, especially considering that your order is not taken by a staff member and you have to use a QR code. At this sort of a price point, I’d expect a higher level of service. The food itself was good, but in comparison to what we were paying, it left something to be desired. Drink sizes were also small and filled with ice. The manager berated his staff in front of customers which was very distasteful. He was also rude to us on the phone when we tried to make a booking.

We visit Pizzica every time we come to Margaret River for a holiday, it’s a must visit. It has such a homely atmosphere and feel - “a slice of Tuscany”. The wood fired pizzas are delicious, and they serve beers crafted by local breweries.

Honestly, very poor quality and way too expensive for what the pizzas are. They lack flavor and are low quality. We didn’t even finish them. They’re the most expensive in the area and it’s just not worth it. Margaret River has great food, but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

A fabulous early supper at Pizzica for myself and my husband this evening. Excellent quality pizzas, fantastic value for money and a buzzy, friendly atmosphere. And our delightful waitress, Josephine, was an added bonus. Many thanks for such a lovely experience.

Great rustic location to enjoy wood-fired Pizza. We have been several times and always find the pizza delicious. Good service with chatty wait staff, nice atmosphere, good drinks and mocktails, food was served promptly in a busy environment, reasonably priced. Book in advance to avoid disappointment - no longer a secret.

recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizzica Italian Restaurant, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience! From the moment we stepped into this cozy establishment, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and the charming Italian chef himself. The ambiance immediately transported us to Italy, with its rustic decor, warm lighting, and an overall inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We decided to order a variety of dishes from the menu to fully experience what Pizzica had to offer, and every single item exceeded our expectations. The cold cuts were an absolute treat, perfectly sliced and served fresh with a selection of cheeses and condiments that complemented each bite. The pizza, however, was the highlight of the evening — thin, crispy, and bursting with authentic flavors. Each slice was a perfect blend of quality ingredients, from the rich tomato sauce to the melted mozzarella and toppings that tasted like they came straight from Italy. What truly sets Pizzica apart is the attention to detail and the passion of the chef, who took the time to interact with guests and share his love for authentic Italian cuisine. His friendliness and dedication to his craft were evident in every dish. The staff, too, were attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring our dining experience was flawless from start to finish. Additionally, Pizzica boasts an impressive wine cellar with a selection of fine Italian wines. The staff provided helpful suggestions on pairings, enhancing our meal and making the evening even more special. The combination of delicious food, a warm and cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service makes Pizzica a must-visit for anyone looking for genuine Italian cuisine. I highly recommend Pizzica to anyone seeking an authentic Italian dining experience. I will certainly be returning soon to explore more of the menu and enjoy another wonderful evening!

Nestled in the midst of bushland and eucalyptus groves, Margaret River Brewhouse is a laid-back microbrewery that offers an impressive selection of craft beers and delectable food. The menu features a variety of dishes, including squid salad, lamb shoulder, wood-fired rotisserie chicken (requires 48-hour advance order), and an array of sides like duck fat potatoes and truffle cauliflower. This popular spot also hosts live music events for a lively atmosphere.
Not your typical brewery fare. Ate here a couple of times during our stay in Margs. Nice selection of Asian meals. I had the Gado Gado first time and then Squid salad on second visit. Portions are big. I really enjoyed the Squid salad which was full of flavour. The Gado Gado was also nice but the Squid salad was more to my liking. Mrs had the mei goreng both times. Highly recommend the food. The place was very popular on our weekend lunch visit. Seems it’s a place for young locals and their families to socialise. Has a nice playground for the kids. Was quiet on the Tuesday. Would recommend for a decent feed at a reasonable price.

Not really big on eating at breweries, but was pleasantly surprised with Margaret River Brewery. Have driven past this place many times and the carpark is always overflowing so decided to do a dinner visit. We just walked in ( recommend booking) and were found a table by the lovely staff. Not overly busy so ordering was easy . The food was amazing and different. Many Asian fusion inspired dishes , pizzas and fresh salads packed with flavour. We ordered a variety of dishes, beef ribs, Korean chicken, brewhouse salad. & cheeseburger roti to share .. WOW WOW Will definitely come again. Families with small children would love this, huge play area and space outside . ** So a bit of an edit : We went again on our last night in town .. Boys re ordered the ribs, not as great as a couple nights back. Flavour was there, just not as falling off the bone texture as before. I had the Japanese caesar.. very filling lots of rice unfortunately I couldn’t finish the pork, was very dry and chewy. I had pictured the pork belly to come in bite size pieces coated in some kind of sauce. And lastly we tired the prawn toast, loved the flavour and was a large serve enough for 3 people to share. Had to drop a star for the second night😞, but the service and atmosphere was still on point

A must booking when heading to Margaret River. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you are looked after. Lunch was really enjoyable and was washed down with a pint of In the Pines. Merchandise available to purchase and also take away drinks. Will definitely visit again when heading down to Margaret River. Also dog friendly which is a bonus as we had our dogs with us.

We've been to Margaret River Brewhouse a few times now, and it never disappoints! Came here for lunch and ordered the Korean grilled chicken, Japanese pork Caesar salad, and a kids' Hawaiian pizza. As always, the food was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. The ambiance is just beautiful – surrounded by nature with a lovely relaxed vibe. It's also very family-friendly, with a big playground where the kids can roam and have fun. Even though it was quite busy, the service was quick and efficient. Definitely one of our favourite spots in Margaret River, and we’ll absolutely be coming back again!

The place fills up very fast even during off peak hours. We enjoyed the good food and beers amidst the lively atmosphere. It is quite family friendly too.

We had the grass-fed burger, chilli mussels, and grilled mackerel fish & chips — everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, the mussels had just the right amount of spice, and the fish was light, tender, and perfectly grilled. Great spot with a relaxed vibe and quality food that really stands out. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great venue, with plenty of outdoor dining, beer options galore, tasty food, and friendly bar staff. But be warned, it's always crazy busy. Like, bonkers busy. Parking onsite is a rare find, the lines to order are huge, and if you don't book ahead, you're unlikely to get a table. Definitely a must-visit venue in Margaret River, but as I said, be warned/prepared.

Love this place! The atmosphere is always very relaxed, great beer, service and food. My wings were delicious but the Nasi Goreng didn’t have many prawns/much pork belly in it. We will be back!
