North Sydney

North Sydney is a business district across the harbour from the CBD. During the week, office workers fill the contemporary eateries clustered around Miller Street. On weekends, locals hit the twice-a-month Northside Produce Market for organic produce and gourmet food. Sydney Harbour Bridge is an iconic backdrop for the art deco North Sydney Olympic Pool, and for Ferris wheel and rollercoaster rides at Luna Park.

Performing arts theater
Sights & Landmarks
The Sydney Opera House is an iconic arts center located on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, offering breathtaking views of the harbor, bridge, and city skyline. With over 1,600 performances annually, it hosts a diverse range of events including opera, theatre, music, dance, and comedy shows. This architectural marvel is a must-see attraction that draws millions of visitors each year. Its unique design and cultural significance make it a standout feature of the picturesque Sydney Harbour.
Booked the tour and dining experience for $81 weeks in advance. Tour started and ended on time with a group of around 20. Headsets were provided so that everyone can hear the live tour guide. They will ask you to check in any medium or large sizes bags or backpacks, but it's easy and free. Tour involved some easy, short walks and steps, but anyone can manage. Very informative and worth doing. The dining add on gives you 3 restaurant options to choose from, all very close by. There's a special, limited menu just for this deal. I chose Midden which had no wait for lunch time and went with the barramundi dish and pinot grigio. The fish was excellent, perfectly cooked and thoughtfully flavored. Asked for no added salt and they were able to accommodate. Wine was good as well and recommended by the server. Overall, a great tour and dining experience that's reasonably priced

We visited the Sydney Opera House and it was an amazing experience. The architecture is stunning, with those iconic sails that look even more impressive in person. The views of Sydney Harbor and the Harbor Bridge from the steps are spectacular, especially from the ferry we took from Parramatta — such a scenic approach! On top of that, we got to watch symphony orchestra show inside, which made the visit even more memorable. The acoustics and interior design are incredible, and the atmosphere of being in such a world-famous venue while listening to live music is something you won’t forget. Overall, it’s a must-see spot in Sydney — whether you’re there for the architecture, the harbor views, or a performance, it really delivers on all fronts.
Nikita K — Google review
The structure is amazing… just like the pictures you see in Internet. Easy to move around. Handicap friendly. Many spots for snacks and even for lunch or dinner. Inside is big enough to run several events at the same time. We saw The Shiralee… excellent play presentation. Buster really run the show. The terrace around the Opera offers great spots for pictures and opportunities to crash on weddings… many diverse weddings. If you have time, you can visit the Botanical Garden nearby. You can’t miss it, if you are in Sydney!
Yolanda G — Google review
Of course, the iconic tourist attraction! We usually only take pictures from the outside whenever visiting the Sydney Opera House (SOH). But Alhamdulillah this year we had the chance to watch the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) performance. The architecture is really unique. The view from inside SOP to the Harbour Bridge and the surrounding areas is breathtaking! Each performance lasted around 1.5 hours. The multimedia facility as additional modern setting adds to the amazing theatrical experience. I did not expect to watch the ACO with documentary screening as background. There are bar and café on the main concern hall that serves drinks and light snacks. You can enter from the main entrance located under the primary stairs structure, or you can enter via a door with security check-in table to right after the tourist ticketing area. There are many concerts and arts performances for all ages, not just classical opera or orchestra as I used to think. Well, a famous landmark does not need recommendation. It speaks for itself.
Ira S — Google review
Sydney Opera House really leans into that whole “world-famous icon” thing, but once you stand in front of it you cannot unsee the truth. It looks exactly like a giant rack to dry dishes. A premium, waterfront, government-funded dish rack. Someone clearly put the budget on the wrong Pinterest board. It still looks good, no denying that. The patterns on the tiles are gorgeous, the shape is wild, the whole structure owns the harbor like it pays rent for the sun. But the moment the dish-rack comparison hits your brain, it is over. Those shiny white shells become plates waiting to drip dry. And the big question: was it worth the time and money? Honestly, maybe. It is one of those bucket list things you check off because it is famous, not because it changes your life. You go there, you stare at it, you laugh at how much it looks like kitchen equipment, you take the photos, and you move on. Iconic, yes. Beautiful, sure. Worth the hype? Debatable. But unforgettable as the world’s fanciest dish rack.
Wade W — Google review
Architecture that captivates your heart! I didn't get a chance to go inside, but honestly, the outside view is stunning enough on its own, it has its power to grab everyone's attention. Top Tip: If you want the best possible view, take a ferry from Circular Quay after sunset. Seeing the Opera House from the water at night is an unmissable experience.
Kishan N — Google review
Worth to visit. It’s unique architecture make it one of the great heritage site. It’s at a walkable distance from the circular quey train station. You will be also get the ferry from here to go Manly beach, Watsons bay etc. You will be also get the Harbour bridge view from here.
Swapnil G — Google review
The Sydney Opera House is truly one of the world’s most iconic landmarks and an unforgettable place to visit. From the moment you arrive at Circular Quay and catch sight of its unique sail-shaped design, you feel a sense of awe and admiration. The architecture is absolutely stunning, blending modern creativity with timeless elegance. It is not only a symbol of Sydney but also a masterpiece that represents Australia to the world. Visiting the Opera House offers much more than just admiring its exterior. Inside, the atmosphere is equally impressive, with beautifully designed concert halls and theatres that provide excellent acoustics and world-class performances. Whether it is a symphony, ballet, opera, or theatre production, every show staged here feels special because of the venue’s ambience. The quality of performances is always outstanding, leaving the audience inspired and entertained. The location of the Opera House makes the experience even more memorable. Surrounded by the sparkling waters of Sydney Harbour, it offers breathtaking views, especially at sunset when the building glows against the skyline. Walking around the Opera House, you can also enjoy the Royal Botanic Gardens nearby or take in the lively atmosphere of Circular Quay. What makes the Sydney Opera House even more appealing is that it welcomes everyone. You don’t have to attend a performance to appreciate it—you can simply tour the building, enjoy its cafes, or relax by the harbour. It is a must-visit attraction that perfectly combines art, culture, and natural beauty.

Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Luna Park Sydney, a beloved amusement park located at Milsons Point, has been enchanting visitors since its grand opening in 1935. After undergoing redevelopment and reopening in 2004, this iconic destination features a charming blend of vintage rides like the Wild Mouse Rollercoaster and the Big Dipper, alongside classic attractions such as the Carousel.
Luna Park Sydney is an incredibly fun and vibrant place to visit. The mix of classic rides and modern attractions gives it a unique charm, and the harbour views make the whole experience even more special. The park is clean, well-run, and full of energy, with great atmosphere both day and night. Whether you’re there for the rides, the lights, or the nostalgia, it’s a super cool spot that always feels lively and memorable.
Daniela — Google review
Sydney’s Luna Park – A Disappointing Experience From a distance, Luna Park in Sydney looks attractive and well-located, but once you get closer, the reality is very different. The park is squeezed between residential flats, and the overall atmosphere feels cramped and uninviting. When we visited, several of the main rides — at least four to five — were closed without any prior notice. Despite paying around $150 for tickets, we felt the money was completely wasted. On top of that, we had purchased additional tickets for some games, but when we saw them up close, it became clear that the games were overpriced and not worth the money. One of the biggest disappointments was the management’s attitude. When we asked about the closed rides, the staff gave vague, roundabout answers instead of providing clear information. At one point, a ride even stopped operating while people were still on it. The riders were taken off, and when we asked what happened, the only explanation we got was: “It’s closed for today.” When we asked when it would reopen, there was no proper answer. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing visit. Both our time and money were wasted. If you are planning to visit Sydney as a tourist, it’s better not to even bother going near Luna Park. It looks appealing from afar, but once inside, it fails to meet even basic expectations of an amusement park.
Sibte A — Google review
Very fun day out with lots to see and do! We ran out of time to see everything, you really need a whole day there to enjoy all the rides. I would have given 5 stars if there was more rides available for the 'red ticket' holders (generally 3-4 year olds) and if the park had some sort of lockers available to store your things in. Don't buy any food here if you can avoid it....it's pretty expensive and make sure you catch the ferry over. It's much quicker than trekking back up the hill to the train station.
Amber W — Google review
O wow what a unbelievably amazing amusement Park, must go and I would suggest take a longer pass coz you would want to go again and again. Big Dipper is amazing thrilling ride, so is wild mouse. And as soon as you enter there is a rotor one. Do try that it's simply wow the feel in that ride, make sure not to eat too much and it's going to make you feel light headed. Enjoy and enjoyyyyyyyy

You know there is a 4 hours Halloween ticketed event with entertainment everywhere you go and amazing staff keeping you entertained and shows. - so instead of grabbing grabbing a popcorn and enjoy the vibe you decide to waste your night by standing in lines and wait for a ride and miss out on the whole idea of the hallowscream then come back here and post a 1 star review. go do rides on another day when you have time - i enjoyed my night here and i wanna do it again next year And by the way i did 4 rides Thank you luna park

It was great but it was warm best time for a look around is midweek not too many people and then catch the ferry to darling / hbr. Great and stay on and go back to the quay 5 stops for $5. Good value.
Terry P — Google review
Great place, wortg a visit with kids for fun and amazing views. Food is not bad and the waiting time is average for a teame park. Can get around with a pram and a fair amount of rides for little ones as well.
Keith S — Google review
Biggest waste of money ever. This place should be renamed “sorry, not in service”. Half the arcade games don’t work. Half the rides are closed. At least all of the “carnival” prize games were open..well of course they were so they could rip you off some more with dodgy scams and literally pay to win big prizes now..want a a big toy? You literally will need to fork out for 10’s of games to accumulate enough points. Best of all, after ordering and paying online, was told at the gate that our child with a cast can go on nothing..can I get a refund? Of course I can’t, because I should have read the website.. found it, 5 pages down hidden away. Thanks Luna park. Proper carneys ripping you off blind 👏 👏 never again

Observation deck
Sights & Landmarks
Formerly known as Centrepoint Tower, Sydney Tower Eye is a must-visit landmark in Sydney. It offers a 4-D cinema, an observation deck, and an outdoor viewing platform that provides stunning 360-degree views of the city. This iconic tower serves as a great starting point for first-time visitors to get their bearings in Sydney. The panoramic scenery from the top allows visitors to familiarize themselves with the city's layout and plan their transportation options accordingly.
This restaurant left a HUGE impression on me when I was a child. To find out the restaurant is still open and that it still revolves was so exciting. On a recent trip to Sydney over the school holidays, I shouted myself and my 11 year old child to dinner, and watching the smile on her face made my mind flood with many happy memories. I personally found the price to be a little on the expensive side, but I will not complain as the experience, the food and the views won hands down and made the price very worthy. I arranged a window seat and that was perfection. Our seating time was 1hour & 45 minutes and in that time the restaurant revolved 2 full times and some. As we were a table of two, the staff thought we must have left (while we were up getting our food) and cleared our drinks and table, but this was addressed and quickly fixed up. As it was early evening (6pm booking), we had the joy of seeing Sydney come to light. Advice would be, book ahead to grab a good table and go with an empty belly as there is so much great food to try. It was a spectacular experience that made many new happy memories. Enjoy!

Sydney Tower Eye was great! Good for tourists who want a great view of the city. $42 for one adult ticket so a bit pricey but I’d say worth it. We also did a photobooth while we were up there $10 for 3 slips with 4 photos which was quite good!

Sydney Tower Eye is a must-see! The views from the top are absolutely breathtaking, and you can see the entire city, the harbour, and even the coastline. We did the sunset visit, and it was incredible — less crowded, peaceful, and the colors over Sydney were just beautiful. The whole experience was smooth and family-friendly. A perfect way to take in the beauty of Sydney!
Morgana Q — Google review
Breathtaking! I could have circled around several more times not taking pictures just admiring the beauty God created in the sky. Very grateful I could catch the sunset. Great value with the three attraction pass, but would have been a great value alone as well.

Went for the VIP experience. Thanks to Kim and Mareil for the fantastic sky walk. The staff in the Infinity restraint were first class. Happy to explain the dishes and made us feel very welcome in a setting that was a bit alien to us. On to bar 83 where again, the staff were most accommodating and friendly. And, of course, the best views in Sydney.

Its really nice lookout place. You can see so much from Sydney. Windows could be cleaned up better but I believe that its quite hard to maintain place with so many visitors. But there is still space to improve :) We bought tickets on arrival and they let us in a moment.
Radovan K — Google review
It's landmark of Sydney, but I don't think this place is "must visit spot" of Sydney. The place is great place to see landscapes, but I don't think staffs aren't putting enough effort to keep place clean. Also the place isn't that much big, but ticket price isn't that much reasonable, so I rather recommend observatory hills instead.

Stunning views of Sydney from above. The city looks absolutely breathtaking, with its sparkling harbour, iconic Opera House, and towering skyline all spread out beneath you. You can really appreciate how beautiful and vibrant Sydney is from this vantage point. The experience feels peaceful yet impressive, offering a completely different perspective of the city. A must-see moment for anyone visiting or living here.

Sydney Harbour Bridge, an iconic structure opened in 1932, offers the thrilling BridgeClimb experience and the Pylon Lookout with exhibitions. Beyond its fame, Sydney's surroundings offer unique experiences like camping beneath the bridge or glamping in a zoo with a harbor view. The city's wild heart extends to camping areas and caravan parks near the CBD, while train rides from Central Station lead to the Blue Mountains or coastal beaches.
This was such a great walk across the bridge. One has a choice to take the hike up above or walk along the path that is more level and the views quite spectacular. There are a few spots to sit and rest if needed as well.
J M — Google review
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the most remarkable landmarks in Australia and an absolute must-visit when in Sydney. Known as the “Coathanger” because of its unique shape, this bridge is not only an engineering marvel but also a symbol of the city’s history and pride. Whether you are walking across it, driving over it, or simply admiring it from afar, the Harbour Bridge leaves a lasting impression. One of the best experiences is taking a leisurely walk across the bridge. The pedestrian walkway provides stunning views of the Sydney Opera House, the sparkling harbour, and the vibrant city skyline. It is especially breathtaking at sunrise or sunset when the light reflects off the water, creating an unforgettable scene. For those seeking adventure, the famous BridgeClimb offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to climb to the very top, where you are rewarded with panoramic views that stretch as far as the Blue Mountains. The bridge is not just about sightseeing—it’s a living part of Sydney’s daily life. Thousands of cars, trains, cyclists, and pedestrians cross it every day, making it both functional and iconic. The blend of practicality and beauty makes it stand out as one of the greatest bridges in the world. Whether viewed from a ferry on the harbour, the Opera House steps, or from the top during a climb, the Sydney Harbour Bridge is truly spectacular. It represents strength, connection, and the spirit of Sydney. A visit here is always inspiring and memorable.
Pravin R — Google review
Visiting the Harbour Bridge was one of those experiences that stays with you long after you’ve stepped away from it. I’ve seen countless photos over the years, but nothing compares to standing beneath its massive steel arches and feeling the quiet power of its presence. As I approached, there was this moment where the sunlight caught the structure just right, and it felt almost unreal—like I’d walked into a postcard. Walking across the bridge was the highlight for me. There’s something incredibly grounding about being surrounded by open sky, shimmering water, and the gentle hum of the city moving around you. Every few steps, I found myself stopping just to soak in the view. The harbour stretched out in every direction, boats gliding across the water, and the skyline rising proudly in the distance. It was both peaceful and energizing at the same time. What surprised me most was how connected I felt to the city from up there. The combination of history, engineering brilliance, and natural beauty made the whole experience feel deeply personal. By the time I reached the other side, I felt refreshed and genuinely grateful for the moment of calm the bridge offered. I’d return in a heartbeat.
Kevin C — Google review
Standing atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge was an unforgettable experience. The panoramic views of the Sydney Opera House, the sparkling harbor waters, and the city skyline were absolutely breathtaking. Walking across the bridge gave me a real sense of how massive and iconic this structure is — a true feat of engineering. The climb to the top was surprisingly smooth and well-guided, and the safety measures made the entire journey feel comfortable and secure. The fresh breeze off the harbor and the sight of ferries passing below added to the magic of the moment. What really stood out to me was how the Harbour Bridge brings the city together — both literally and symbolically. Whether you're walking, cycling, or driving across, there's a sense of connection to Sydney's history and its vibrant present. The guides were knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about the bridge's construction and role in the city's development. It's more than just a bridge — it's a living part of Sydney's culture. If you're visiting, I’d say this is absolutely a must-do.
Edrea P — Google review
It is a must experience to walk through the bridge! Stunning views, and about 20/30min walking :) You can also pay to go up the little museum and have an even better view, but we didn’t do it and had the greatest time, still.
Ana C — Google review
Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of those massive metal monsters that looks like it was built just to show off. And honestly, it works. You walk across it and the views slap you in the face in the best possible way. Water everywhere, skyline shining like it thinks it is in a movie, and the Opera House doing its whole “look at me, I am iconic” routine. Standing on the bridge itself is great. You feel the size of it, the weight of it, the whole “I am literally on a giant steel arch over a busy harbor” thrill. It is impressive without even trying. The kind of structure that makes your inner child yell “woah” while your adult brain quietly checks the handrail. And from a distance the bridge absolutely nails the skyline. It anchors the whole thing. Big, bold, perfectly shaped. If Sydney’s skyline was a band, the bridge is the lead guitarist who never ages and always steals the spotlight.
Wade W — Google review
Lovely place and a special part of my son's family history. Celebrated 100 years! Well done with the security, clean and lovely place to visit. Many wonderful experiences to be had there and around the bridge with Sydney.
Penny R — Google review
Standing beneath the Harbour Bridge at night is something else entirely. The scale of it hits you first, that huge steel arc stretching across the water, lit just enough to show every beam and line. The city sits right behind it, glowing across the harbour, with the Opera House catching the light on the other side. The reflections across the water look incredible, and the whole scene feels calm but alive at the same time. It’s one of those views that never really gets old, no matter how many times you see it.

I’ve visited the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney for a few consecutive years now, and it’s always been such a lovely experience. My first visit was in 2022 when I had some time before my flight back to Singapore — it was really chill and gave me space to reflect on my trip. In 2023, I went back alone and did the walk through to the Opera House, which was both fun and relaxing. Then in 2024, I brought my family along, and we managed to snap some truly amazing photos together. Overall, it’s a great place to take a walk, enjoy the scenery, and even burn a few calories. The air feels fresh, the views are beautiful, and its location near the Opera House makes it perfect for a stroll after a meal. It can get a little crowded near the evening, but the atmosphere is still enjoyable. For tourists, I’d say this is definitely a must-visit spot in Sydney. Here are some photos from my visits over the years 🌿📸. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A vibrant spring scene featuring a variety of blooming flowers in a beautifully landscaped city garden. The atmosphere is fresh and lively, with soft sunlight filtering through blossoming trees. Colorful tulips, daisies, and cherry blossoms fill the garden paths. People stroll peacefully among the flowers, enjoying the mild breeze and fragrant air. The city skyline rises gently in the background, creating a perfect blend of nature and urban beauty.

We visited Sydney in spring time and the flowers were out across the gardens making for a lovely sight of colours together with a floral scent. The gardens and park are extensive but can be easily walked to enjoy this open space. Great views too across the harbour the bridge and the opera house.

Stunningly gorgeous, expansive garden. There are so many beautiful flowers and trees, and the landscaping is so beautiful with the ponds, fountains, and sculptures. There is a beautiful view of the harbor from here, and there are a variety of beautiful birds that live here. There are plenty of benches and shady areas if you need to sit down, too. It is free to come here.

The Royal Botanic Garden is beautifully maintained and absolutely worth a visit. It’s incredibly peaceful, with plenty of birds—you can hear them chirping everywhere. It’s the perfect place to wander, unwind, and forget you’re in the middle of the city. You’ll also find great views of the Opera House. Whether you want to have a picnic or just relax, it’s an ideal spot to spend some time.
Angelina M — Google review
One of the places I really enjoyed visiting was the Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney, Australia. It’s located right next to the Opera House and overlooks the Sydney Harbour, so the views are absolutely stunning. The garden is huge and beautifully maintained. There are colourful flower beds everywhere—pink, purple, yellow—really vibrant and full of life. You can also see tall palm trees and massive green trees that give you a lot of shade. In some areas, there are big open lawns where people sit, relax, or even have a picnic. The best part is how the garden blends with the city skyline—you can actually see modern buildings peeking through the trees, which makes it feel peaceful but still very urban. When I went there, I just walked around and took photos. The weather was really nice—bright sky, cool breeze—and it felt very relaxing. There was a small lake and also some benches where I sat for a while and just enjoyed the view. I also passed by fields of yellow flowers that were really eye-catching. I loved it because it gave me a break from the busy city without needing to go far. It’s clean, spacious, and very well-designed for both tourists and locals. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.

RAFI North Sydney is a trendy and spacious restaurant and bar located on Mount Street, offering a vibrant and contemporary dining experience. The venue boasts a 300-person indoor/outdoor footprint with sunny terraces, a cocktail bar, main dining room, private dining space, chef's table experience, and The Arbour glasshouse structure.
First time visiting Rafi North Sydney and we werent disappointed. Every dish was so tasty and cleverly curated. Also a shout out to new crew member Grace for recommending the tuna and potato dishes, as I wasn't planning to order either but trusted her recommendations and both were stand out dishes!! Def be back!
Maz S — Google review
We celebrated a big family milestone at Rafi’s with a party of 9. We loved the setting on arrival and the table service was top notch! All started really well, good flow of starters and drinks! As we had the banquet menu, we were expecting to be fed well. Mains were a tad stingy as we were served 1 steak, 1 fish and 4 prawns to split between the 9 of us. We took this up with the restaurant after the day as we didn’t want to spoil the evening and was told that was adequate because we had starters! Whilst the raw tuna and tooth fish starters were really wonderfully done and enjoyed by all, I respectfully disagree and if we opted for the more expensive banquet menu for $105 + 10% surcharge per pax before drinks, I expected a full sized main course, not 120 gms of shared steak or half a prawn per person! A heads up for future patrons, just be mindful if you have a good appetite, be aware! All in all, we did have a good time as the service staff were good but am not sure if we would be back unless they are prepared to serve a proper dinner! We left the restaurant still hungry after a hefty bill. After our experience, I had a better look at past recent reviews and found reviews if small food servings have been an issue for others as well! So it’s not just us!

Had an amazing lunch at Rafi in North Sydney. The service was top-notch—our waiters were super friendly, gave great suggestions, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a good time. The food was just as impressive. The warm sourdough pita with hummus was a perfect start—so fresh and warm! I loved the deep-fried eggplant and the roast chicken too, but honestly, everything we ordered was delicious. Great vibe, great food, great people. Can’t wait to go back.

Dinned here on a Saturday evening. Nice fit out for sleepy North Sydney. We ordered the set menu. All in all the food was okay. I liked the tooth fish and zucchini. The standout for me personally was the steak. Unfortunately we weren't asked how we would like our steak cooked. I personally like it rare but the other 3 people at the table like it medium rare. The steak was nearly blue but had a great crisp and flavour. We would of reached out to the staff to have this addressed however we waited what felt like 45 minutes inbetween our entrees to the steak so we didn't have faith on the getting resolved in a timely manner.

RAFI – A Must-Visit Gem in Sydney I stopped into RAFI for a solo weekday lunch and was so impressed I came back for dinner later that same week. That should tell you something. The space is stunning. It’s open, modern, and beautifully designed but still feels warm and inviting. It’s the kind of place you want to linger, whether you’re alone or with a group. Let’s talk about the food. The pita is an absolute must. It comes out steaming hot and is the perfect vehicle for all the delicious things to come. I started with the hummus, which was light, flavorful, and super fresh. Both times I visited, I focused on seafood and vegetables and every dish was a knockout. The octopus and tomato was bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The charred cabbage was a surprise favorite, deeply savory and rich with miso and umami. Dessert was “The Double Chocolate,” which turned out to be a kind of deconstructed brownie with ice cream. Unexpected and absolutely delicious. Dinner took it to another level. I finally tried the tuna dish, which I was told is a customer favorite, and I totally get why. The fatty tuna was beautifully complemented by a tart sauce and just the right amount of crunch. I also had fioretto for the first time, a cauliflower and broccolini hybrid, and I might be a superfan now. It was buttery, crisp, and paired beautifully with the rest of the seafood-forward dishes. The toothfish was a dream—flaky, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth perfect. And honestly, the food would’ve been enough to win me over, but the staff made the experience even better. They were friendly, thoughtful, and made me feel completely comfortable navigating the menu as a solo diner. It felt like they genuinely cared. Highly recommended. If you’re in Sydney and love great food, beautiful spaces, and warm service, you need to make time for RAFI.

This place never fails to impress. Everything is delicious and on point. Have been here at least 5 times and can’t fault it. The Tuna entree with chilli oil is ridiculously good. The Hummus is silky smooth and a must try. Tried the octopus and calamari this time - both impressive. This is Middle Eastern meets Modern Australian- if you love bold punchy flavours then Rafi is the place to go. Perfect for a group setting or a date night. Highly recommended.

Stopped by for a drink and an est after a long walk. We arrived just before happy hour so the options were a bit limited for vegetarians. Really beautiful space with tonnes of character and good vibes. I think the patio spaces are dreamy and I would love to stop by again in the summer

Nestled in the heart of North Sydney, Glorietta is a stylish Italian restaurant and bar that has quickly become a local favorite since its debut in 2020. This vibrant spot offers an inviting atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying leisurely meals or casual gatherings. The menu features a delightful mix of traditional Italian dishes alongside innovative gourmet options, such as the Beesting pizza topped with chili honey and Nduja inferno.
Really enjoyed this spot, especially the zucchini flowers and wood fired bread. The lamb was also fabulous! Check out my food Instagram @erinxeats for more ❤️‍🔥

The server missed some of my drinks & food order. Suggest repeating the order back to customers. The rest of the party finished eating before I was served my main and it was very awkward. I had the vodka rigatoni and as you can see, it’s plain pasta & sauce including some broken pieces of pasta. Going to a restaurant, I hope to have a better meal than I can make at home and it missed the mark on this occasion. It’s easy to elevate a dish for someone with a dietary requirement. Rather than just removing items from the dish & charging the same price, consider replacing items with an equivalent. The tiramisu was too dry. Overall experience - food very plain, service could use improvements.

Visited on a Thursday night with a group of 3 after hearing raving reviews for its pizza and pasta. We went in with no reservation and were seated outside on a high table. The service was slow (especially sitting outside) and it took 15 mins to get the attention of staff to take our order. We went with the verdure and prosciutto pizza, vodka rigatoni pasta and fries. The pizzas were 10/10 and would definitely return however the pasta was a let down which lacked flavour. Fries were super tasty!

Service was seriously awesome, super friendly and helpful staff. The place feels really comfy and chill. Food was sooo good, my nephew loved the kids Margherita! Oysters were super fresh, and all the cocktails we had were amazing. Definitely coming back!

Foods are great, the person welcomed us at the door is very nice, but the waitress girl is v indecisive. P.S she only made eye contacts with my partner who has a different skin tone than me.

Atmosphere - We were greeted well by the host and showed us our table. There was no introduction of who will assist us with our oder. It has a nice ambiance if you want to have a date night or have dinner with friends/family. Food - To be fair we only ordered pizza, but I’ll give the pizza a rating of 2 stars. It wasn’t warm enough when it came out. We ordered a second batch of pizzas but it was the same. It felt like the pizza has been sitting on the their counter for a while before it was served to us. Service - Two of the staff who served us doesnt know how to communicate with the customers. I understand if there’s some language barriers, but every time they would serve the hot pizza pan on the table they dont say “excuse me.” They also dont read the customer’s body language. My friend had to cover her face twice! Another thing was, the wait staff didnt even ask us if it was okay to get our plates on the table, she just dove in to grab the glasses without saying “excuse me” so she accidentally knocked over the glass of beer across table… to me… and got my dress wet. She then moved to my area, to grab the other glasses without empathy. Also, if you go and use the toilet watch out of the service staff moving across the kitchen and assembly area as a wait staff will accidentally bump on you because they’re just always in a rush. It’s a shame, I really liked the ambiance of the place but because of the bad experience I will never go back here and will not recommend this place. I hope their management would have a little care to do some service training and add more people on the floor on a busy Saturday night.

I left a voicemail. Please tell your chef. The pasta burns due to garlic. You use too much garlic. Cook the garlic at least. Try it before you send it out. Pizza is great, we keep coming back for your pizza. Then your pasta lets you down every time

Green Moustache is a chic rooftop garden bar and restaurant located in the heart of North Sydney. The venue boasts a lush, leafy ambiance with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. The extensive drinks menu features original cocktails, including the popular pink drink "Up in The Clouds," as well as a robust wine selection. The modern global fare complements the stylish setting, making it an ideal spot for catching up with friends over delicious mocktails and flavorful dishes.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. We dined here for lunch yesterday. We were running late for our booking yet the restaurant were very accommodating when I baked them to let them know we were late. Once we got there it was a beautiful location taking the decorative elevator up to the 10th floor and coming into a beautifully green natured environment. The staff were exceptional in their service and given we had our elderly Aunt & Uncle they accommodated the walker and made sure they felt comfortable. The food was fantastic. Delicious, well presented and so many flavours. Special mention in the XO Scallops - worth every cent We would definitely dine here again.

Rating: 4/5 Green Moustache is a lovely spot across from North Sydney Station, with a lush, green interior that’s both vibrant and relaxing. I had the King Prawn Spaghetti ($43) — tasty and well-balanced with Parmesan and lemon, though there were only 2 scallops, small prawns and 1 bbq prawn (barely any meat) on the dish. See photo Great service and a nice lunch option if you’re in the area, though prices are on the higher side.

I recently hosted my bridal shower at the Green Moustache, and it was such a wonderful experience. Gina, the Event Manager, was incredible and made sure everything ran perfectly. The venue itself was beautiful the room was the ideal size, and with the rooftop decor, the space already felt so stylish that little extra was needed. The food was fantastic, and my guests couldn’t stop talking about the cocktails and the amazing staff. I’d highly recommend this venue for any special event!

The Green Moustache did not disappoint. Having been just once before and loved this place, I was eager to take the whole team there when we had a rare moment with everybody in the same state. Of course, any recommendation like that comes with pressure to deliver! But Green Moustache had my back, and the great service and tasty food made me look good. A special shout out to the staff, who let us all go about our catchup all the way to last drinks, letting our latecomers have time to settle and enjoy the atmosphere - the perfect evening ahead of a big day.

Lifts located at the entry to Northpoint by the NAB bank. We had a lovely relaxed, long lunch. Service was friendly and attentive - always nice to never have to ask for more water! My favourites were the salt and pepper squid starter and the market fish main. The tuna ceviche was nice but I wasn't bothered about the hawker style chicken, and the beer battered chips weren't as crunchy/nice as I'd have hoped. Comfortable restaurant and adequate privacy from other tables for conversation. Definitely on the pricier side considering what was served.

Recently hosted a corporate breakfast event with Green Moustache and cannot thank the team enough! Hosted 70 pax in their main dining area and the event was a huge success. The events manager Gina was amazing in the weeks leading up to the event - super helpful which made organising a breeze. Staff on the day were great too, very kind and attentive. Would definitely host another event in future, thanks again!

Crossed walking Harbour Bridge, late for breakfast, early for lunch…. Walked 5 minutes (or less) and found this lovely restaurant!! We just asked for appetizers to share and were all amazing!!! Sorry but I have to recommend all of them !!

Was raining when we were looking for a place in Kirribilli to eat for dinner. Spotted a cozy rustic restaurant and decided why not? The Botanist was an incredibly delicious meal and the ambiance was amazing. The pasta was so flavorful and probably one of the best I've had. The chicken also was very good and the BREAD WAS FANTASTIC!! Paired with the burrata was just a chefs kiss. Great meal.

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Botanist in Kirribilli, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was a delight. In addition to the delicious menu, they also have a great selection of cocktails to complement the meal. I would highly recommend it.

Local pub/bistro style dining with casual vibes and elevated Australian dining. We had the Beef Wellington (a Sunday roast special, be sure to pre-book as this needs preparation days in advance), tuna crudo, sausage pasta, and apple pie to end. Great selection of cocktails (mostly also available in temperance, non-alcoholic versions). We had the lychee martini, negroni special, and a spiced raspberry tequila. Warm, friendly, and inviting atmosphere. Would definitely recommend checking them out if you’re in the area for a small celebration, or just for a little treat.

Such a Vibe at The Botanists in Kirribilli! If you’re looking for a spot in Kirribilli that nails both the atmosphere and the food, you need to check out The Botanist. We had what we thought booked a reservation, unfortunately we did not do what we needed to do as customers, we did not finalise finer details through email... so on arrival, we weren't on the system! It was our anniversary so we were visibly upset. The lady who greeted us at the door, Hannah, was an absolute gem! Super friendly, helpful, and quickly came up with a solution for us. She hooked us up with sitting at the bar tables to wait for a dining table to be cleared, however we were happy to eat from there, which she was very happy to accommodate us. The food? Wow. Every dish was full of flavour and you can tell they’re using top-notch ingredients. Seriously, you could almost taste the freshness in every bite. The wine? Always hits the spot. This gentleman (sorry, did not get him name) also recommended a lager with our mains which complemented the dish well, and topped our wine throughout the night. Overall we had a beautiful experience, and will come back for our next anniversary 🥰 will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you so much to the team at the Botanist! Wish I had taken more pictures, but the night was thoroughly enjoyed to stop and do so at each time.

The food is great and as always warm and friendly hospitality with good service. It's a local favourite with visitors flocking the venue regularly too. Prawns were fresh and cooked to perfection and Tuna entree was amazing. Steak shoulders were perfectly made rare to maintain its tender meat, a great suggestion by Ryan the GM. His wonderful team Evie and Paddy, were absolutely delightful serving our table too. Thank you so much we will be back again.

Modern Australian restaurant
Sails on Lavender Bay is a modern Australian restaurant located in the harbourside suburb of McMahons Point, offering stunning views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The restaurant's airy dining room serves dishes made with local, seasonal produce, showcasing a modern take on classic French cooking techniques.
The food and views at Sails are absolutely amazing, just as stunning as in the photos! But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. A huge thank you to Angus and the team, who went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. I came in a day earlier to ask about getting a nice table, and Angus made sure we had the best spot in the house, along with a few thoughtful surprises as a congratulations gift from the team. These small but meaningful touches made a lasting impression on us. Sails will forever be our special place, and we’ll be coming back every year to celebrate our day. ❤️

⭐ An Elegant Culinary Journey in Sydney ⭐ Lovely Sydney fine dining experiences. The six‑course tasting menu with premium wine pairing was exceptional, showcasing beautifully presented dishes with clean yet complex flavours. The steak was a standout perfectly cooked, rich in texture, and paired seamlessly with the wine selection. Attentive staff, refined ambience, and creative flavour combinations made this a memorable evening. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a world‑class Sydney tasting menu and premium wine pairing experience do note the price is on the higher end.

Delicious food, cocktail and fabulous view. Watermelon salad is surprisingly good, starter must have king prawn, pork cutlet and Thai basil spaghetti is good too. Staffs friendly and nice, they recommended the best dishes for me.

💡A celebratory dinner: fancy, by the water, with a view. A taste-bud experience worth every dollar. The food and cocktail list were the absolute standouts of this experience. We started with our favorites—oysters, scallops, snapper, octopus, and king prawns—but we declare, by the food gods, that what followed our entrées was melt-in-your-mouth, check-your-pulse, out-of-this-world perfection: the Moreton Bay Bug Spaghettini and the Ranger Valley Scotch fillet w) cos salad, chat potatoes and a bordeaux butter! AMAZING 😋👌🏼 Cocktails these days can be so outside the box that you wonder if they are even drinks anymore—but not this list! Enjoy a couple... we did. Our cocktails were fresh, tasty, and served with thought: the right glass, the right ice, and the right garnish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and warmth. All the staff on shift that we engaged with shared knowledgeable information and recommendations about the food, wine, and even the surrounding Sydney Harbour area for a post-dinner drink. Their recommendations did not disappoint. You can see for yourself the amazing views this harbor gem has to offer. Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere reflects that exceptional view, as it is beautifully presented with quality furnishings. + Warm, fresh sourdough bread with assorted butters, and still or sparkling water on the table after being seated, with no surprise charges on the bill at the end. + 🏳️‍🌈 🫶🏼 + The wine list and prices offer something for most diners. - Parking is almost impossible. - Very minimal spirit list (Tequila options: nil). - The vegan and vegetarian options were, let's just say, not great. Ohhh we'll be back . . . . 🥰

It was a romantic spot by the ocean. The food was amazing, and the manager took great care of us with both the service and the recommendations. The chairs were a bit soft for dining but cosy for drinks. The night cityscape from our table definitely added to the date-night vibe. The snapper was very good, and the portion was perfect. I’d definitely visit again for lunch.

Great restaurant!! We caught the ferry and it arrives literally meters from the door of the restaurant; super amazing atmosphere and view of the water is beautiful. Service was amazing (shout out to Zoe who was very kind and helpful in explaining the meal). Food was amazing too!!

It was a lovely experience. Initially we wanted three courses. However, we couldn’t finished our second course, so we only had two courses. I really wanted to try the dessert:( There is a bit of wait time. We waited for about 45m to start with the oyster. Then another 20-30m for the first course. We also had the baked cauliflower, which was creamy and nice. The view was amazing. You can see the harbour bridge and Luna park. We requested window seats when booking, and we were able to get one.

Food was amazing. I can’t stop talking about it. You can taste the freshness from each dish. The black cod was the best fish dish I’ve ever had. Matching it with the king prawns as a started was a great suggestion. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the scallops were divine. They allowed the flavours from the freshness of the seafood to come through without being overpowered by sauces or over seasoning. The staff were amazing. Very accomodating and great to talk too.
