Hervey Bay

Hervey Bay, a coastal city in southern Queensland, is widely known as a site for observing humpback whales. Whale-watching boats operate during the July to November migration season. It's also a hub for tours to nearby Fraser Island, which has beaches and features a rainforest habitat for dingoes and other wildlife. A waterfront esplanade links the city's marina with beaches offering calm waters for swimming.

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Aquatic center
Wetside Water Park is an oceanfront aquatic center located in Hervey Bay, Queensland. It offers a variety of water attractions including waterslides, a splash pad, and a wave machine. The park opened in 2009 and has since become a popular spot for families to cool off during the hot summer days. This zero-depth water park features interactive play equipment, tipping buckets, and a giant water screen, providing both entertainment and education on water sustainability.
Great place to stop and cool off. Parking can be tricky if it’s busy. The main splash park is free but you can pay a low cost for the other slides and timed ninja park. These are paid for for a certain number of turns. Lots of tables and chairs available, some shaded. Lockers available near the toilets - BYO padlock or get one from the kiosk. Showers also in the cubicle blocks. 2 cafes right next to the park so easy to get food & beverages and then take them to eat. The kids had a blast.

Seriously, they need to limit the number of people at the water park during school breaks. We got there right when it opened at 10, and it was fine for like ten minutes, but by 10:30, it was total chaos. It's an accident just waiting to happen. Kids were pushing and shoving on the kids' slides, kids were crying everywhere, and parents were just glued to their phones. The line for the big slides was all the way down the stairs. My kid was done after fifteen minutes. He was like, "Can we leave? I don't feel safe."
Lewmish M — Google review
Great fun, amazing views looking out to K'gari/ Fraser Island! It's free to play around on parts and great value for the awesome water slides! We also did the Aqua Ninja water activity course that was good fun with a bit of a challenge!
Matthew C — Google review
Great place to take the kids and us big kids for a bit of fun! Well priced and in a prime spot on the beach. Only reason it wasn't a 5 umwas due to short staffing there was nowhere to buy a water. The young guy spotting the slides was friendly and attentive.
Kasey C — Google review
There's something for everybody! My kids love the splash pad and the water slides! Free entry unless you or your children over 120cm tall want to use the water slides for $8 for 10 slides. Great place to take the kids.
Lynda P — Google review
Great water play area. Went everyday we were here and the kids loved it. The older ones loved the slide too. $8 for 10 slides. Great part of our holiday
T L — Google review
Great place for kids (young and young at heart), plenty of free off street parking around, with a delicious cafe next door and the gorgeous beach in front. The renovations/maintenance have made it even better. Plenty of shaded areas, change rooms/bathrooms, and friendly lifeguards around. Love bringing my littles here
Caitlin H — Google review
One of the most amazing free water parks in Queensland. Areas for big or little kids. My son loves Wetside and that's our favourite place to visit when we come up to Hervey bay. Now with the playground and skate park next to it we love it even more.

Urangan Pier, located in Queensland's Fraser Coast, is a historic and iconic attraction. Built in 1999 to commemorate Captain Matthew Flinders' first contact with Fraser Island, the pier was once used for cargo transfer but is now popular for fishing and offering scenic views. Stretching almost one kilometer into the ocean, it provides spectacular vistas of Hervey Bay and opportunities to spot marine life such as dolphins, stingrays, and schools of fish.
Wonderful wooden pier, real hot spot for fishing especially in the late afternoon. Has rod holsters and filleting station. Amazing place to come and watch the sunset. Couple of hundred metres walk to the end. Amazing to come here and see the difference in tide times. On low tide half the pier is above sandbank which is also really nice to walk and look for hermit crabs. Quite windy though so bring a jumper if you are coming for sunset
Sam S — Google review
It was a great walk, but unfortunately, no dogs allowed. So my husband and I had to do the walking separately. The views to Fraser Island and the surrounding beaches were nice.

Travelling Aussies 🇦🇺 The Urangan Pier is a wonderful asset to visitors and the locals of Hervey Bay Stretching almost 870m into the bay from the Urangan foreshore, it’s a great vantage point and relaxing walk There’s usually plenty of parking, while you’ll enjoy the famous Pier Markets on Wednesday & Saturday mornings Often, visitors will see dolphins, turtles, stingrays, a family of ospreys and other wildlife from the Pier A number of outstanding local cafes & restaurants are also situated nearby, and the Pier is a great way to walk off a delicious meal or enjoy a hot coffee
Jaimes P — Google review
A great place for a walk, if you are a fisherman the last 30 mtrs of the pier is in deep water and pelagic fish are commonly caught. On Sundays there are markets, coffee shops etc. Well worth a visit.
Ray L — Google review
No dogs. I’d love to know how a dog walking on a pier could do any harm to it. It’s 2025, time for these archaic rules need to be abolished.
Yipsi L — Google review
Beautiful walk along the 1.1 kilometer length. Great views. Coming off the end of the Wednesday market avenue was a nice touch. Great location and easy walk.

Very busy place in the mornings with plenty of people arriving in groups to the bay for all the day trips it offers. Nearly all the excursions are whale watching. Plenty or restaurants/shops etc in the complex.

Spirit of Hervey Bay offers an incredible whale watching experience in Hervey Bay. The bay serves as a stopover for whales during their migration, providing a unique opportunity to witness them resting, playing, and displaying fascinating behaviors. The crew provides insightful commentary on whale behavior while the spacious ferry offers comfortable viewing areas, including an underwater section. Guests can enjoy amenities such as afternoon tea and activity booklets for kids.
Loved both the K’gari and the whale tour with this epic tour company. We saw the most incredible whale action I’ve ever seen up close with great commentary from the skippers… PLUS the island tour with Kirk was unforgettable… a powerhouse of history and knowledge and expert 4WD on the beach and through thick sandy paths. Highly recommend! Debbie and James

Great cruise, friendly crew. Informative. Afternoon tea provided. Large boat & easy to move around freely. Highly recommend. Only downside, small children running around & climbing up the rails whilst other patrons trying to take photos, move around the boat without falling over children and trying to enjoy the experience.

Wonderful experience!! Had a blast for the afternoon! Can't get any better than this up close and personal with these gentle giants 😍 Highly recommended!! Captain and crew of the Spirit of Hervey Bay are very experienced and knowledgeable about the subject matter "whales"! The cruise in the bay is very calm, even for a person who suffers from seasickness, without taking any medication.
Alvin L — Google review
Amazing day on the water with a great skipper and friendly staff. The skipper was highly knowledgeable and friendly and he knew exactly what he was doing. He went above and beyond to find active whales rather than just sitting on the first pod he found!

We had a fabulous time out on the Spirit of Harvey Bay. The crew were fantastic, checking to see if everyone was ok as there were a few times when it got a little choppy. As for the whales they put on a spectacular show not to disappoint. Hats off to the crew of on the Spirit of Harvey Bay you do an excellent job. Highly recommended.

Wonderful whale watching experience! Swimming was definitely a bonus and did not disappoint! $155 for cruise plus additional $100 for swimming. Bear in mind water is cold out there and swimming is weather (and whales) dependant. Crew was lovely and very helpful throughout the all experience too!

Fantastic experience, saw so many whales and the crew were fantastic. Great for kids we had a 4yr and 7yr old and they loved it. Plenty of room for everyone and great viewing areas. 100% recommend.

History Museums
The Hervey Bay Historical Village & Museum offers a unique journey into the past with its collection of 21 old buildings and numerous historical artifacts. Visitors can witness weekly demonstrations and explore themed memorabilia dating back to 1873, gaining insights into the region's history. The village features period-specific buildings showcasing exhibits from the early days of Hervey Bay's formation, including household and farm items from the 1800s.
Museum run by enthusiastic volunteers. Took us 1hour 30minutes to stroll the exhibits and take a look back down memory lane.
Dennis H — Google review
The museum is an interesting place to visit with many local rescued buildings such as the church and vestry, slab homestead, railway station and smithy. The development and history of Hervey Bay and the surrounding area is well documented and there is lots to see. Of particular note are all the vehicles which are well maintained and obviously loved. Admission prices are reasonable and drinks are available on site. Allow about an hour for a visit. Unfortunately there are no specific interactive activities for children.

Choc-A-Bloc Full Of Real Life Historical Exhibits ... If like me, you are enthralled by the dynamic modern history of Australia, then you will want to spend an extended amount time here, as I did ... A huge amount of artifacts are on display and those exhibits range, from the farm, to the kitchen, to transport, technology, education, industry, tourism, gardening, nautical, ecological and almost everything else you can imagine, in between. Exploring this marvelous museum, was quite a self indulgent exercise for your truly, as childhood memories of formative family life in the 1970s, followed by retro tech recollections at the end of school and kicking off my working career in the 1980s, 1990s, through to the early 2000s, came rushing back to the front of my mind ... A highly enjoyable way to spend an hour or more, while spending time on the hidden gem that is The Fraser Coast.

An absolute must-see in Hervey Bay! This place completely exceeded my expectations — it’s huge! The museum holds an incredible collection covering all eras, from everyday tools to beautifully preserved machinery and artefacts. The recreated village sections are simply mind-blowing — walking through the old buildings and especially reaching the real working shed at the end feels like stepping back in time. The hosts and volunteers are amazing — friendly, passionate, and full of knowledge. They make history come alive with real demonstrations (they even teach you how to bone-knead, and everyone can have a go!). A visit here is truly a journey through time — you could easily spend hours exploring and still discover something new. One of the best historical museums I’ve ever been to. Highly recommended!

🌺 Wow! 🤩 The Orchid House at the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens was absolutely spectacular. I wasn’t expecting to see so many orchids in bloom this time of year —all lovingly cared for by dedicated volunteers. My family thoroughly enjoyed exploring the whole gardens. Including a rainforest walk, labyrinth and gorgeous Chinese inspired garden.

Lovely oasis in Hervey Bay Check out the citters Park for the little peeps, the Chinese garden, the labyrinth (although it was made for leprechauns!!!) , The Orchid house, the pond with thousands of turtles that swim up to you! And across the road is the pie and pastry shop with yummy treats for everyone and good coffee

Nice spot to wander around and fill in 45 minutes. Chinese garden is quite a nice feature however would be good if the water feature was actually full. The lake with the turtles probably needs cleaning out and a few turtles removed, could also do with a few more plant identification placards around the place. Good spot to let little kids run around and burn off some energy. But would I go again probably not, would I recommend. Im 50/50 going by the comments some people really enjoy it.

Restaurant
Enzo's on the Beach is a popular spot in Hervey Bay, offering light breakfast and lunch options with stunning water views. The airy cafe has an indoor/outdoor setup, complete with bean bags on the sand and double-height ceilings that create a tropical beach bar atmosphere. The menu features all-day brunch items like avocado on rye sourdough, spanner crab omelette, and full English breakfast, along with freshly blended juices and smoothies.
We absolutely loved our afternoon and evening at this fantastic beach club. We brought our little dog with us and sat in the beanbags with our feet in the sand, ebony a few drinks. When the sunset, the waitress allowed its to move to a more upright lounge seat just behind the beanbags to eat dinner. The food was delicious
Katrina B — Google review
To be honest, this café has a great location with lovely scenery and friendly-looking staff, but that’s about it. The food was really disappointing — completely lacking in flavor. If the team could improve the menu, it would make a huge difference. At the moment, it’s more of a photo spot than a dining destination. Don’t waste your money on the food — it’s not worth it. I also feel compelled to mention the service, which was surprisingly poor. I first visited in 2019 and remember taking photos here. This time, however, I was very disappointed. No water was offered, and when I politely asked, the staff’s response was rude: “Help yourself.” I ordered a flat white, and a staff member brought two cups over, claimed one was my latte, and walked away without answering when I tried to clarify. Then she just served another table and ignored me completely. The restaurant didn’t feel very clean either — the atmosphere was tense, and the staff all looked stressed and overwhelmed. It’s such a shame, given the beautiful location.

Awesome location and good vibes. We went here for dinner, watched the sunset. Goan vindaloo and prawn gnocchi were both yummy dishes from the specials menu, both had a bit of spice to them! Garlic bread was also quite good. Great aperol and good local tap beer.

We dined here on Sunday 28th September for brunch, we sat at a table but wanted to move to a table closer the outside area, we were told it was reserved at 2pm even though it waa dirty still, once they cleaned it, it wasnt marked as reserved, we were seated at 145, the table we wanted was still was empty the whole entire time we ate and 1 hour after we there still empty, we were really annoyed at this as they could have checked to see if that reservation was going to make it, still it remained empty when we left, this says alot about service or caring about patrons and going above and beyond in your job. My sister ordered 2 cocktails different types and said they were delicious, meals were good, burgers were enjoyed, karaage chicken was enjoyed, the oysters were devoured, garlic bread abit greasy but enjoyed. Overall enjoyed dining here, just wish they checked if that reserved table was still coming because it sat empty for over an hour. Views are great, ambience is nice. Service needs attention, meaning greeting customers well. We aren't hervey bay residents, we were on a holiday so this was a stand out for me in my stars rating on service, you can see in the picture the table were wanted to sit at remains empty.
Traci B — Google review
What a top little spot. Ample on the menu to choose from, food tasted great and even the kids sizes are big. For a Saturday afternoon, was a busy place, but service was quick. Few little let downs however. Some couple at a table had a dog inside which was barking occasionally, which was annoying. Plus there was loud dance music playing. For a beach side cafe/restaurant, would have been nicer to have more appropriate tunes.

Tapas restaurant
The Dock in Hervey Bay, situated at the stylish Urangan Harbour, offers a modern selection of tapas dishes and an impressive wine menu. The restaurant is known for its vegan options and even has special crew nights for those working in the whalewatching industry every Wednesday.
The service is great, the location is amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful. The food was really good and I know it’s tapas but some of the prices were a bit on the nose for the portions provided.
Naz B — Google review
The Dock Hervey Bay offers a great waterfront dining experience with a lively atmosphere, friendly staff, and a solid selection of tapas-style dishes. The food is flavorful, and the cocktail menu is well-curated. While the portions can be small for the price, the overall vibe and service make it a worthwhile spot for a relaxed meal or drinks by the marina. Ideal for casual gatherings, but those with dietary restrictions should check the menu in advance

Overall a really nice dinner, tapas means small plates. Yes the plates are small but the portions were large for some of the dishes so you have to order quite a lot. if you want a good dinner which all adds up, two adults and one child a couple of cocktails $160.

For our first time dining here 28th September 2025 on recommendation, we had a table of 6, we were told only 2 sliders left upon ordering our food, our booking was 630pm, last 2 sliders were bought out on mini toast, shocked as we were expecting slider buns. The arancini was delicious, hoping there was more choices of arancini available, but they were very delicious Scallops kilpatrick i didnt like needs improving, scallops weren't seared tasted like theyre microwaved, duck cigars my son enjoyed, fish tacos were a hit at our table. Lemon lime bitters was made exactly how I was hoping, im not a hervey bay resident so I was expecting alot from this place, seems the waiters dont really communicate well with each other either.

Sept 2025 - 10 Stars Each time we return we are gifted with warm welcomes, great service, smile and top notch plates. If you are in the area, book a table and try their tapes plates, you will love it. Xmas Eve 2023 - 5 Stars Got some photos this time! 😊 What an outstanding restaurant. The food is like they have Gordon Ramsay locked up in the kitchen. Every dish was impeccable! The service staff are amazing, all smiling and it is a testament to the owners, who also have a great sense of humour. Phoebe looked after our table and was all smiles. Sorry I offered a taste of the Squealing Pig Rose' as she was not 18 yet. We were the last table of the day and were made so welcome. Merry Xmas The Dock team and see you in the New Year August 2023 - 5 Stars Why I didn't take a photo of the stunning dishes served has me wanting to return asap to capture the stunning work the chefs here do. Servings were perfect for four of us as each plate had four pieces. The waitress guided us through the menu, so we had about 11 plates! Each dish was so tasty. The prawns were plump and cooked perfectly. The location is relaxing, overlooking the Marina. Parking was a little hard to secure a spot on the weekend with all the whale watching tours underway. Make sure you book a table and enjoy the hospitality

We have walked past and looked at their menu a few times and looked good but at the times we were here it wasn't very busy and didn't try it. What a mistake, a friend in our village recommended it and we went in a few days later and paid them a visit and really enjoyed it we are just so happy we went just as the lunch rush was just over at about 1.30pm. The service was very good and informative and the food was first class with a very good drink menu as well. My wife always tries new cocktails and was a pleasant surprise having something different to try as well. I enjoy drinking beers from where the food menu comes from and look forward to our next visit.

Gutted. Was really exited to try this place after reading the reviews. Was our last night touring Queensland before heading home and we were looking forward to a bit of luxury. We ordered the Italian dock plate, the pork and fennel meatballs, a signature cocktail and a Prosecco. The Italian plate looked quite impressive at first glance with a lot of food for the price but unfortunately it lacked anything in the way of flavour. The only thing on the plate that wasn’t a budget store bought item was the roasted cherry tomatoes and the were unseasoned in any way and very bland. Also, what are corn chips doing on an Italian board? Very confusing. We left over half the food. The pork and fennel meatballs were lacking on the fennel and quite dry, they did come with a lemon mustard sauce on the side but that was overpowering and made them worse. Again, we left half of them uneaten. The cocktail was a take on a pina colada and sounded great because t was ridiculously sweet and even though I’m a real sweet tooth, I found it unpleasant. The Prosecco was good though. When I paid for the meal, I was not asked how we liked it. I would have happily shared this feedback in person if asked. Simple mistakes here that would take much to fix. Better quality ingredients with some seasoning would improve everything dramatically not to mention tasting food and drinks before sending out.

Odyssey Bistro is a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Hervey Bay, offering an extraordinary dining adventure that truly lives up to its name. This farm-to-table bistro features a hand-sealed menu that showcases a delightful three-course meal, which changes monthly based on the freshest local produce and proteins available. Diners can savor dishes like freshly shucked oysters and fish crudo while enjoying expertly paired beverages from nearby distilleries, breweries, and wineries.
The service was fantastic, as was the food and drinks. The meals were amazing and there wasn’t one component in any dish that we didn’t like. The cocktails were so good you would have thought we were dying of thirst if you saw how many we had. And each meal was described to us in detail by the fantastic waitstaff along with brief descriptions on how certain components are created. Definitely an experience well worth the money. The meal sizes were good and we left feeling full and satisfied.

Just wowed away. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a beautiful atmosphere and wonderful welcoming staff. Welcomed with water and the set menu for this month. Each dish explained and each sounding as amazing as the last and the special touch was knowing it was all so local with a guide on the back of the menu showing where everything has been sourced. 100% recommend. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the night and food was perfect. I had been wanting to try Odyssey for some time, but I do believe I chose the best time to come. The service was just wonderful, high spec, but very welcoming too, such a fantastic mix. Can't fault the food at all, and loved being able to have a wide selection of "per glass" wines that matched beautifully. Will be back again, and in the meantime rave about this place A LOT!!

Odyssey Bistro is an absolute standout in Hervey Bay. Their philosophy of using fresh, locally sourced produce shines through in every dish - you can really taste the quality. A true celebration of local food and a must-visit for anyone who loves dining with heart.

Overall, I had quite a good time here. It can get a bit too loud but I guess it depends on the crowd you get. I tried: 🍸Odyssey Margarita — a medley of tequila, BBQ pineapple, lime & jalapeño salt. 🐑 The most flavourful and tender lamb skewers that works so well with the hummus, crispy chickpeas, pickled onion, orange and parsley dressing. 🦐 The portion, wow. fresh baked prawns with the creamiest Balinese curry. 🐟 🥩 I wasn’t too crazy about the mains. But they cook both the fish and steak at the right texture but the toppings were just ok for me. 🥔 Potatoes roasted in duck fat was crispy and savoury. 🍰 I loooove the orange almond cake; the chocolate tart was alright.

Such incredible flavours!!! Very generous servings, so fresh and vibrant. I was impressed with the wine list selection too. Loved Odyssey!! Would definitely come back.
Jenna N — Google review
I recently dined at Odyssey Restaurant expecting a fine dining experience given the $300 bill. Unfortunately the evening fell well short of even basic hospitality standards. From the outset, the service was unprofessional and disengaged. Staff delivered the menu in a robotic manner, with NO effort to guide or engage. When concerns about the meal were raised, staff's response was dismissive and belittling - and attitude entirely at odds with the principles of quality service. The food itself was equally disappointing. Dishes were excessively fatty (pork) and poorly balanced, while the cheese platter offered only a single selection. A panna cottage that resembled a marshmallow, paired with frozen fruit felt careless and far from refined. None of the courses reflected the level of skill or creativity expected at this price point. Ambience was also lacking. For a restaurant positioning itself as fine dining the absence of atmosphere, attentive, friendly service, and well executed dishes made the experience- feel unworthy of the cost. Overall, the visit was deeply unsatisfying. When spending at this level, diners should expect quality, care and respect. Unfortunately Odyssey Bistro failed to deliver on every front.

We had the pleasure to dine at Odyssey during our summer holidays in Queensland. The restaurant was recommended on the Good Food guide, and after checking their website, we decided to try our luck at the last minute. The team was kind enough to accommodate us with the last 2 seats, at the bar. We had a great night still, looking at the barman shake cocktails and mocktails and serving wine. We love that the menu is a 'market' menu. It changes week after week depending on what is in season. The team in the kitchen works with "local" suppliers, growers, farmers or dairy farms about 300km around. We both really enjoyed the flavour combinations and how the chef plays with textures. Every dish was fresh and few components only were fried, which we lived (some restaurant really to much on fried components for crunch in my view). The menu was delicious from start to finish. The service was lovely, there for every of our needs without being too present. We will definitely be back next time we visit that beautiful part of Australia.

Fish & chips restaurant
Maddigan's Seafood is a popular spot in Torquay known for its delicious fish and chips. The menu features a variety of fresh catches like coral trout, snapper, barramundi, Pacific dory, and sweetlip. In addition to the classic fish and chips, they also offer seafood platters with oysters, prawns, and bug tails. Customers appreciate the generous portions and value for money at this beachside takeaway joint. The friendly service adds to the overall experience.
The staff were the cherry on top. They were very nice and educated us on the local seafood. They catered to us and let us try different fish and their specialties. Great people making classic fish and chips.

Fine fish and chips! The fish was tasty, but unfortunately you have to ask for spoon and fork. Later on I saw others walking away with some sauce to be enjoyed with the fish. Apparently I had to ask for that too. The chips could have been a bit more crispy too. Overall a fine dinner especially considering the relative price.

Wow so good! We had Red Emperor and Coral Trout both battered. Great value for the serving size. It's too easy to walk across the road to sit and eat on the beach. Will be back. I forgot to mention about the ice cream shop on the corner 😁 Perfect

I love this place so much. Every time I have a planned trip to Hervey Bay from Brisbane, I dream of their red parrot fish n chips and sea scallops. 😆

Absolutely delicious, fresh and abundant. The fish is fresh and smoothly , the chips one of the best that i ate in Australia . Quick to serve the food and the staff is so lovely 😍

We ordered two fish and chips for 2 Person for a fair price. The fries and fish were crispy and very tasty. However, we couldn't finish our portions of fries because they were too much. Next time, one portion of fish and chips and an extra fish will suffice.

Our fish and prawn cutlets were absolutely cooked to perfection. Loved how they separate the fish and prawn cutlets in separate dishes and none of it was dripping in oil. Excellent service, great value for money and a huge menu to choose from, not to mention the fresh fish and seafood available as well. Highly recommend.

Wow this place was GREAT! Huge servings with reasonable pricing, so fresh! Chips were crispy and fresh, fish was 10/10 and calamari also great! Will come back here next time I visit 100% (and I’m super fussy when it comes to fish and chips) Thankyou :)

Nestled on a two-acre expanse of meticulously landscaped gardens, Arkarra Gardens Café Restaurant offers a serene dining experience amidst the soothing melodies of chirping birds. Guests can savor locally roasted espresso coffee while strolling through the lush grounds or indulge in delectable meals prepared by the garden's gourmet chef. The diverse menu caters to various dietary preferences, featuring an array of dishes such as falafel tortillas and blackened salmon, along with irresistible loaded fries.
Grat spot for a little break and a quick bite to eat. It was not super busy on my visit but going by the surrounding seating and gardens I could see it would be very popular. Coffee smashed it out with a 9/10 If your in the area its worth a look.

A peaceful place to while away some time while enjoying a Devonshire Tea. The coffee was great and the scones are huge, so much so, that we shared one! Not bad at all. The grounds/garden need some attention and that distracted from the overall atmosphere.

Lovely cafe set in beautiful gardens with lots of birds. The scones are delicious.

We used to love coming here but it is getting quite run down. The tables are never wiped down when someone leaves and they definitely need to be because the birds and ibis land immediately. Always short staffed. Today we waited almost 40 minutes for a fairly ordinary pizza. We couldn’t finish it all so asked for a box. We were charged $2 extra! A

I had a wonderful breakfast experience at this charming restaurant with a beautiful garden that's pet-friendly. It's a delightful place to start the day with your furry friend. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect. I loved how accommodating they were to pets, making it a great spot for dog owners. Highly recommended.

There's nothing not to like here. I've been four times now. First time was with a group and no one in the 20 or so people had a complaint. The open air seating in the bush setting is beautiful. If I had to find a negative, I guess a windy or very wet day it would not be so nice. I went once when it was cooler and drizzling but we were quite comfortable in our hut with a warm drink and yummy food. If you're scared of birds it's probably not the best place for you as we had a few different birds hanging around. There is a lovely short walk too.

Incredible food and fantastically relaxing Balinese styled seating areas! Chef 👨🏽‍🍳 is bang 💥 on with flavours and food styles. We had blackened salmon, which was done to Cajun perfection. Also had the calamari salad which was superb! The salad dressing was incredible with just the right balance of everything. Paired with some bubbles, our lunch was perfection 🤩👌🏽

Beautiful spot for lunch, as you are surrounded by nature and wildlife. We were able to sit under a tiki styled roofed area (many individual ones for group bookings to enjoy) and watch the ducks stroll by, birds perch next to us while we eat and we even saw a couple of baby turtles. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The group tried the fish and chips, wagyu burger and chips, meat lovers pizza, salads, open styled sandwiches, and a selection of beverages. Food was cooked very well and we all enjoyed our meals. The portion sizes were very generous but we were able to take leftovers away with us. We enjoyed the little walks they have around the grounds and it's abundance of wildlife. A great spot for families.
