Jeddah

Jeddah, a Saudi Arabian port city on the Red Sea, is a modern commercial hub and gateway for pilgrimages to the Islamic holy cities Mecca and Medina. Resort hotels, beaches and outdoor sculptures line the Corniche, a seafront promenade anchored by the iconic King Fahd’s Fountain. The city’s Al-Balad historic district dates to the 7th century and retains traditional homes built from coral.

Fountains
King Fahad's Fountain, also known as the Jeddah Fountain, is a must-visit attraction located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It holds the title of being the world's tallest water fountain and can be seen from various parts of the city. Donated by King Fahd, it was constructed between 1980 and 1983 and launched in 1985.
A wonderful place to spend ur time. If u reach around 3:30pm, you would get plenty of free space to station urself. The water at the bay is very clear and u can spot beautiful fishes, even stingray. Loved the place. Its wheelchair accessible. No tickets required. Fountain starts at 6pm sharp.
Ahmed A — Google review
It is one of our regular evening spot. There is nice garden, play area for children and long side walk. Sitting in the lawn with the view of the fountain is something special. You can spread a mat and get some food and spend a quality time with your friends and family. In weekends car parking will be an issue.
Vardha — Google review
Very impressive especially during sundown. Hours of operation in Google is false. It starts at 6:00 every day. It's the highest fountain of it's kind
George T — Google review
Protip: Take your own food items and a matt to sit on. Wonderful place, especially for families. Good weather, awesome atmosphere, great views and no entry fee whatsoever. You can also enjoy with friends and have a nice chat there.
Haseeb J — Google review
I loved it there! It was a very peaceful place to visit! There was a play area for kids so children could enjoy their time while looking at the view! There were no tickets required!

The Tallest Fountain in the World! King Fahd's Fountain is an absolute must-see when in Jeddah. Located right on the Red Sea Corniche, this isn't just a fountain—it's a truly spectacular landmark. I visited in the evening, and that's definitely the best time to go. The fountain is lit up by over 500 colored spotlights, and the sight of the water jetting hundreds of meters into the night sky is breathtaking. The atmosphere around the fountain is wonderful. The corniche is a vibrant place to walk, with plenty of families and friends enjoying the sea breeze. It’s a great spot for a stroll, a picnic, or just to sit and take in the view. You can see the fountain from many different parts of the city, but being close to it really gives you a sense of its scale and power. It's completely free to visit, which makes it an accessible and fantastic option for a fun evening out. The only thing to note is that it can get quite crowded, so if you want to find a good spot, it's best to arrive a bit before sunset. A perfect place to relax and enjoy one of Jeddah's most iconic sights.

King Fahd‘s fountain is sbout 312 meters high and it is visible from many points throughout Jeddah. We took pictures of it from different points( you can see it on the photos). The Fountain is often considered a symbol of the city of Jeddah. It’s worth visiting this place. 🌸🌸🌸🌸

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Fakieh Aquarium is a must-visit destination for those seeking an immersive experience with marine life. Located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, it is the only public aquarium in the country and boasts over 200 species of sea creatures from the Red Sea. Visitors can marvel at sharks, groupers, string rays, napoleon wrasse, sea horses, green turtles, and more. The aquarium plans to expand its collection to include even more fascinating underwater residents like the sea dragon.
As an avid nature enthusiast, I was truly captivated by this extraordinary experience. The abundance of exotic aquatic species, many of which were unfamiliar to me, made it a memorable encounter. The reasonable pricing further enhanced the appeal of this destination, making it an ideal choice for family outings. I eagerly anticipate witnessing the dolphin show during my next visit.
Faisal K — Google review
Visited recently and had a wonderful experience! The place is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully designed. I really enjoyed seeing the variety of marine life — from colorful fish to unique sea creatures, it's a treat for both kids and adults. It's not too crowded, which makes the visit peaceful and enjoyable. The staff was helpful and polite, and everything was well-organized. A great spot for families, especially if you're looking for an educational and fun outing. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Jeddah!

Worth to visit with kids . Rare and unseen creatures are there to impress us . Hats off to the one who is maintaining and keeping very clean and fishes are seems healthy . I went with my family with a family package. Ticket for family package is less compared to single tickets . But still the price is high ,they can reduce if possible it would be much appreciated and helpful for all people.

We visited this place a couple of month ago, the place is amazing. You’ll gonna love every single aquatic species there. Not just for entertainment but educational purposes too. If you wanna see and witness the greatness of Earth’s creatures visit this place and bring your friends or family’s. I assure you will get back home with knowledge and great experience. Plus their staff are very approachable🫶🏻

We had a wonderful time visiting Fakieh Aquarium in Jeddah! My daughter absolutely loved it, she was amazed to see so many different kinds of colorful fish up close. The displays are well-organized, making it easy to walk through and enjoy each section. It’s a great place for kids to learn while having fun, and it’s definitely worth a visit for the whole family!

A wonderful place for families and kids! 🐠🦈 Fakieh Aquarium offers an exciting marine world experience right in the heart of Jeddah. From colorful tropical fish to sharks and sea turtles, the exhibits are clean, well-maintained, and educational. The dolphin and sea lion show is a must-watch — super entertaining for both kids and adults! The place is well organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful throughout. There are also a few restaurants and snack corners inside, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy a full day with your loved ones. I highly recommend buying tickets in advance to avoid long queues, especially on weekends or holidays. A perfect spot for a fun and informative outing! 🌊🐬🎟️
Jawad S — Google review
Very peaceful vibes, everything is incredibly clean and the animals seem healthy (only the penguins looked kinda depressed). However, the visit is too small for it's price. A lower price would make the size completely fair.
Chardin — Google review
Visiting Fakieh Aquarium in Jeddah was an amazing experience. I saw fishies and sea creatures 🐠 that I had never seen before, and the colors and patterns of the animals were incredible. It really makes you appreciate how amazing Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala created these creatures. The sea lions 🦭 and dolphins 🐬 were very professional. Watching them swim and perform tricks was so entertaining. One sea lion even clapped and did stunts that humans couldn’t do! The dolphin show was full of energy and really fun to watch. There was also a lazy penguin 🐧 who walked around slowly while his other friends showed off their strength and energy. The contrast was really cute! The turtles swam gracefully, and the baby sharks moved quickly around their tanks. All the animals were active, and it was fascinating to watch how they interacted with each other and with the trainers. The aquarium is located next to the Red Sea 🌊, which makes the place even more special. You can enjoy the view while exploring the exhibits. The layout of the aquarium is excellent for taking photos and creating memories 📸. It was a bit expensive, but worth it for the experience. We went in April 2025, and it’s a perfect place to take your kids—they will enjoy it a lot, and adults will also find it impressive. The aquarium is both educational and fun, letting you see marine life up close and learn more about different species. Overall, Fakieh Aquarium is one of the best spots in Jeddah. From playful sea lions and energetic dolphins to adorable penguins, graceful turtles, and baby sharks, there’s so much to see. The shows and interactions with animals make it even more enjoyable. 5 stars because it’s definitely worth visiting!

Amusement park ride
Water & Amusement Parks
Al Shallal Theme Park in Jeddah is a must-visit destination for families and thrill-seekers. This popular amusement park offers a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, educational boat rides, and gravity-defying experiences like zero gravity. The lively vibes and joyfulness make it a top choice for tourists visiting Saudi Arabia.
The theme park was beautifully planned and maintained extremely well. It had special play area for toddlers, which was a relief. The cafes and restaurants were unique with good quality of food. The ticketing system was very quick and there was no waiting time of any sort. Bowling, ice skating, gaming arcades and all sorts of rides were available. Definitely a must visit if you are visiting Jeddah with children.

A great spot for an evening out! Fun rides, nice food options, and a peaceful lake view. Perfect for kids and families to enjoy quality time together. 😍🎢
Hamad ( — Google review
For Saudi Arabia, it's a huge first, not like any other park like it I assume. But the thrill rides last somewhere between barely 3-50 seconds. You can only do those once even on your tags. The park opens at 4pm does to summer heat and stays open till 1am. I thought it would crowded and busy on a summer night because of the kids breaks from school but most of the people started coming in around 10. Even then you get your turn after 2nd or 3rd. Place is clean. Rides well looked after. Ice rink is great. Lots of indoor games for toddlers like sparky's.
Ume-IYMAN — Google review
Very good entertaining place. Games yard gives you a feeling of narrowness where all games are next to each other and with small or medium sizes to fit in the space. The internal games hall is the best there; Appropriate space with good attractive design, also it has a attractive games, I really enjoyed it and the ice skating arena. I recommend this park as it has many entertaining options and as it a very good place to have a nice time.

Hi all, last week aug29th 2025 we visited....it's very nice experience we went for 140sar package it's completely worst it nd we r really enjoyed it👍must visit...all rides r working nd good management also..
Sameera 5 — Google review
Not recommended for kids under 7. Not enough number of rides for kids/ toddlers. Rides available have low thrill and some of them are out of service. Vibe and entertainment are dull for anyone group Prices against quality time provided are high Not recommend if you have visited any other theme park in your life, you will hate the experience at Shallal.
Abdul M — Google review
Very nice arrangements and I personally loved the ice skating track as my kids enjoyed a lot there. Entry fees of 35 sar is not worth. Management shall look into it to attract more people Thanks a lot
Mohammed N — Google review
This is a fun place but not if you are looking for large rollercoasters, there is only one real rollercoaster but plenty of other rides that have a good thrill, there's a nice boat ride which you can rent, not too pricey but can add up as most big rides or side attractions are not included in the wrist band. Nice in the evening time as it's more cooler!

The menu features a mix of Chinese, Thai, and Malaysian delicacies prepared according to your preferences. This was my second visit to Toki, and once again, I had a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. While the service was a bit on the slower side, the staff was very kind and attentive when they did come around. This restaurant is one the best Chinese restaurant in town . No matter how time passes, they have sustained impeccable quality. My all-time favorites are the chicken lettuce wraps, baked scallops (exactly like the ones I tried in Guangzhou, China), crispy Szechuan beef, black bean Angus, and chili tiger prawns. The sticky rice was okay."

We dined-in in Yu by Toki in Riyadh. It’s an amazing taste experience. We will never forget the food, the place and the service. We ordered Wasabi Shrimp, Rice Crispy Duck, Shumai and The Sweet Sour Soup. All dishes were perfectly crafted. We also tasted Singaporean Shrimp, which was free from the house. It’s also very delicious. The atmosphere was comfortable and neat. The service staffs were warm, friendly and well-educated about the food menu. Our food was served by Abdullah. Thank you Yu by Toki. Kudos for the team!

Some places feed you, others move you. TOKI in Jeddah did both effortlessly, and all at once ! The moment we stepped inside, it felt like entering a cinematic frame, dimmed elegance, curated energy, and that quiet confidence only true artistry can bring. The vibe? Boldly modern, yet unmistakably rooted in authentic Chinese soul reinvented with flair. And then there was Achilis; he didn’t just serve our table, he orchestrated the entire experience with charm, grace, and a sense of care that felt rare. Anticipating without asking, present without pressing. He made us feel seen, and that made all the difference. Now, to the heart of the evening, the food.It didn’t arrive in courses; it unfolded like moments meant to be remembered. The Tiger prawns were crisp and golden, the Chicken Lettuce wrap fresh with texture and fun. Then came that Angus Beef; tender, layered with deep flavor, and just the right touch of richness. The Kung Pao Chicken followed , vibrant, fiery, and grounded with crunch and spice. And just when you think the rhythm can’t be perfected any further, the Dragon Sour lands on the table cool, tropical, a whisper of coconut, and a splash of lime that brought everything together like the final note in a favorite song. By the end, it was clear that TOKI isn’t a restaurant, It’s a feeling , plated, poured, and unforgettable. No surprise it sits at the top of Laylaty’s artisan dining scene. It doesn’t just set the bar, it raises it with every detail !

This restaurant specializes in authentic Korean cuisine, featuring beloved dishes like beef Bulgogi and Bibimbap, alongside an impressive selection of Korean BBQ. Had a wonderful experience at Sura Restaurant! Every time we are here, the food is excellent—making it our favorite place to dine. The atmosphere is always great, but what stands out the most is the outstanding service. Special thanks to Mr. MD for his professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality. I absolutely loved this Korean restaurant! The food was delicious and full of authentic flavors. The kimchi was perfect, the bulgogi jeongol and sweet&spicy chicken was so tender, and the side dishes were fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Thanks for HANIA and AMDI🫶🏼 Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Korean taste and a great dining experience! Will definitely come back again. 🥢🇰🇷✨

The food tasted good, especially galbi-gui. However some food didn’t look fresh at all, like the cucumbers in the salad looked super unfresh…but overall we enjoyed the different flavors. I wasn’t aware of how different upstairs seating was, but downstairs it was giving 80s restaurant vibes, which is a bit nostalgic but also it felt like a super old place that’s not very well taken care of.

Amazing food, lovely ambience, and our waitress Ishra is a great one!! Always smiling, helpful with our choice of menu and bringing a pleasant experience. We order Haemul Pajeon, Budaejiggae jeongol, Modeum kimbap, and Dolsot Bibimbap. All so good and the portion is quite big. Will come back again💖

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved my experience at this Korean restaurant in Jeddah! The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented — easily some of the best Korean dishes I’ve had in the city. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for both casual meals and special outings. A special shoutout to HANIA, who made the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on! Highly recommended — can’t wait to come back! 🥢🔥

Just tried this Korean restaurant and IM OUT OF WORDS it was AMAZING, Everything tasted super authentic, like real home-style Korean food. The place itself feels cozy and welcoming And that delicious smell of bulgogi as soon as i sat down? Mouth watering. Every single dish did not just satisfy me, it pleased my whole family including my picky brother, everything was packed with flavor Every spicy dish had just the right amount of spice. The staff were spreading joy effortlessly throughout the whole meal, theyre super welcoming and sweet. Overall, i’d totally recommend this place for a cozy authentic meal. DEFINITELY a go to korean spot Im so going back.

Sura Restaurant in Jeddah offers a wonderful taste of Korean fine dining. The food is really good and the atmosphere is pleasant, but what truly adds to the experience is trying their ground seating tables — it’s a whole vibe and makes the meal feel even more authentic. The menu is huge, so you really can’t do it justice in one visit. If you want something interactive and fun, order any hot pot — it’s an experience in itself, and you’ll enjoy every bite. Just remember, hot pot portions are for more than two people, so if there’s only two of you, don’t order anything else alongside it. But if you’re not going for the hot pot, I recommend mixing and matching different dishes — you’ll enjoy each one. Service is fine, and in my couple of visits, I didn’t find it too crowded, which made dining relaxed. At the end, they serve complimentary ice cream, which is just enough — though you might still be tempted to try their desserts. Only downside? Good luck with parking. Overall, Sura is worth visiting for its flavorful food, unique seating options, and the chance to explore Korean cuisine beyond the usual basics.

Nestled near the historic Al Balad district in Jeddah, Wong Solo is a delightful gem that brings the authentic flavors of Indonesian cuisine to life. Specializing in Javanese dishes, this charming eatery draws inspiration from its namesake city on Java Island. Known for its warm and inviting atmosphere, Wong Solo has become a beloved spot among locals and Indonesian pilgrims alike.

Indonesian food which have the same authentic taste as in Indonesia. If you're indonesian and boring with the daily food in hotel in Makkah you can try this one. The place is not too big, but still comfortable. There are many fan but not all area covered. Usually tour leader will bring us here when we're about to leave Makkah

Many times i come here.. because this is the famous Indonesian restaurant around Corniche Mall in Al Balad .. The restaurant is in the second floor, so we can see view outside.. the real indonesian cuisine.. bakso, spicy chicken "penyet", grilled duck and chicken, rendang, mixed-ice, cendol, etc.. and in Ramadan they serve open buffet, so we eat with Umroh jamaah, but still we can order another food exclude it.. we can take away too.. but sometimes the restaurant is crowded, so we need to be patient to queue.. there is musola too..

First time I have been here with my friends food is nice and traditional Asian. Just inside need some renovation. Service could be better... Icetea was out of my expectation 😅 but I am happy that they serve natural iced tea..
Seyyid B — Google review
This restaurant is considered as one of my favourite. The food was good, you can give a try for Tilapia BBQ and they offered other Indonesian food which is good as well. Price wise within acceptable range. Ice lemon tea is great but iced tea doesn't met my expectations, it will be good if it can be improved - too sweet and tea is diluted. Better avoid to come during peak hours as it may cause delayed. I would recommend this restaurant to whom like to give a try and looking for Indonesia cuisine.

I rated 4 star but i want to clarify its in their category as a low budget restaurant. Is located close to the only one public parking we found open. The price are really cheap and we tried because it was recommended by the lonely planet guide 2019 Middle east. The waiter speak really poor English, so the communication was hard but kind. The cleaning could definitely improve. We ask for noodles MIE Goreng SEE FOOD because it was the easy thing to ask because the menu picture... was a good portion and taste was typical Asian food. We ask for other side Called BATACOR, but it wasn't so good...I will show the pictures bellow this comment.. so expectative vs realistic.. I would like to add that it was the only place was open to eat after 15h different from fast food in the mall⁹

Modern Indian restaurant
Restaurant
Rasoi by Vineet is a vibrant and inviting Indian restaurant located in Jeddah, where the culinary genius of Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia shines through. Drawing inspiration from the charming old streets of Jeddah, this eatery beautifully marries traditional Indian flavors with contemporary cooking techniques. The menu features innovative takes on classic dishes, such as deconstructed samosa chaat and lamb shank biriyani, all presented with artistic flair.
I recently visited Rasoi by Vineet at the Mövenpick Hotel with my children, and it was truly an outstanding experience. The restaurant lives up to its reputation with numerous awards — and rightfully so. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and luxurious. The décor is stunning, blending traditional Indian elements with modern sophistication. The ambience and vibe are perfect for a relaxing gourmet experience, whether you’re visiting as a family or for a special occasion. The table setup and presentation reflect high attention to detail, and the service is of the highest standard — professional, attentive, and welcoming. The staff made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the entire evening. As for the food — simply outstanding. The menu offers a wide variety of Indian dishes, each with a luxurious and creative twist. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented, rich in flavor, and perfectly balanced. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience authentic Indian cuisine in a refined and memorable setting. I had the pleasure of dining at Rasoi by Vineet in Jeddah, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone—sophisticated yet warm, with a beautiful fusion of traditional and modern decor. The menu offered an incredible range of authentic Indian dishes, each with a unique twist. The flavors were rich, aromatic, and expertly balanced. I highly recommend trying the butter chicken and the lamb Rogan Josh—both were cooked to perfection. The naan bread was soft and fluffy, just the way it should be. What truly stood out was the impeccable service. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of. They were always on hand to offer recommendations and made the whole dining experience feel personalized. Overall, Rasoi by Vineet offers a fantastic blend of traditional Indian flavors with a modern dining experience. Whether you’re a local or a visitor to Jeddah, this place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine Indian cuisine. I’ll definitely be back!

We had such a good time at Rasoi by Vineet, Jeddah 😍. The chef treated us with a complimentary vegetable dumpling – honestly sooo flavourful, wish it was on the menu because I’d totally order it as a full dish 😉. We kicked off with the Rajkachori – super fresh sprouts + that perfect mix of sauces = too good! For lunch, we went with the non-veg thali – and wow, it had everything: starter, roti, sabzi, rice, dal, papad, a non-veg curry, and the yummiest gulab jamun to end with. Definitely enough to fill one person to the max 😁. Also ordered the Murg Pressure Cooker with cheese naan – great portions and super tasty! Overall, amazing food, good quantity, and such a fun dining experience. Would happily go back again! 🌟

Excellent food, excellent service. Chef Salaudin goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed and give you a taste of home. Definitely try his Paneer tikka Masala and Daal. The vegetarian delicacies he especially prepared for us were delightful. Best Indian food in Jeddah, and this is coming from an Indian.

Every time I go to Rasoi by Vineet, my tastebuds jump around out of excitement. The creativity, flavors, and balance in every dish never fail to impress. Other than the staff are super friendly and helpful. This time, the highlights were absolutely unforgettable: the Raj Kachori was bursting with vibrant flavors and textures, while the Tikki Amritsari was crisp on the outside and full of depth inside. The Dal Maharani was velvety and rich, the kind of comfort dish you can’t stop going back to, and the Banarasi Vegetable carried layers of spice and aroma that made it stand out. To round it off, the Date-Almond Naan was an indulgent surprise sweet, nutty, which I had a a dessert.

Very nice Japanese restaurant. High end. Dubai level. Waiters are super friendly. Service is great. To our surprise, we got a complimentary dessert. Very nice and cute gesture. Must try the lobster rice, sooo good. Have a nice sushi selection. Drinks are very delicious and refreshing.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Myazu in Jeddah. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the service was excellent. A special mention to our server Durlav, who was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality restaurant experience in Jeddah.

One of the best catering we had! My Boss arranged an outside catering for our VIP Visitor for an evening set menu. Being in charge of the event, I did not see any negative issues with the over all experience. The execution was flawless, from the preparation of drinks to the actual set up of tables it’s all well planned. The food was served according to the courses. From the appetizers to the desserts it was all fantastic, and from what I have seen our visitors reaction they had enjoyed all the food that was served. Many thanks to their kitchen and service team. They are polite and easy to deal with, they can adopt and adjust easily base on the situations. Kudos to Roland, Luis, Paran, Mario, Ronald, Ahmed, Farhan and Gulam. They did a wonderful job to our event. I highly recommend this restaurant for your catering needs. PS. I was not able to take a snap of the food as I am well busy on running the whole event.

Absolutely Impeccable! Dropped in for dinner just before my flight back home, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! Every dish on the menu was a masterpiece — perfectly balanced in flavour, beautifully presented, and portioned just right. You can taste the care and precision in every bite. The highlight of my evening was the crème brûlée — pure joy, instant bliss, and the perfect finale to an exceptional meal. A heartfelt thank you to the team for the warm hospitality and the thoughtful souvenir — such a lovely touch that truly made my evening memorable. You’ve definitely earned a loyal guest in me. Hats off to the entire Myazu team for delivering such a world-class dining experience!

Fantastic spot for a date night! Booking was easy, and the staff were super welcoming. The food was delicious, especially the dessert (the pistachio ice cream and chocolate cookies🍪🍦) They even handled a problem with one of our chicken dishes so professionally by taking it right off the check. Great vibes, I loved every moment of our visit!
