French restaurant
PB Boulangerie Bistro is a popular venue that combines a bakery and bistro, attracting crowds with its classic pastries and hearty French dishes. The bustling establishment is known for its renowned croissants, which often sell out quickly in the mornings. Owned by French-born chef Philippe Rispoli, who has trained under esteemed chefs, the bistro offers a menu that competes with top restaurants in the region.
This is a must stop during a visit to the Cape for any Francophone or food lover alike. Baguettes, croissants, sandwiches, pastries, cheeses, jams, and other French food. The line may be long but it’s totally worth it! We’ve been visiting pretty much every year since they opened. A small pocket of France in Wellfleet.

We came here based on a friend’s recommendation, but nothing really blew us away. The complimentary tomato bisque was great — fresh, with nice flavors of cream, onion, and garlic. We also had the baguette, éclair, mille-feuille, strawberry tartare, and coffee. The cream in the mille-feuille was delicious, but the éclair was very average, as was the tartare. Coffee was just coffee. We visited on a Saturday around noon and had to wait in line for about 15 minutes. Not sure if it was worth the wait. Probably won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Stopped in to check this french bistro. There was an organized line to get inside and order. Indoor and outdoor seating. Aesthetically the bistro was interesting. Once inside it was a bit cramped and I felt a little pressure that I had to order quickly. We ordered a few sandwiches and pastry. The sandwiches on display are about twice the size of the actual sandwich you receive. The food was good and was of good quality. We also ordered two espressos, which were terrible. By far the worst I've ever tasted. I'm not sure if maybe they had a bad batch or whatnot. I would go back, but I would be in a rush. The pastry is what I would go back for.

Everything you could want in an American French Café. Went for lunch and there was a plentiful selection of both breakfast pastries and lunch items (e.g. pizza). Coffee was exceptional, as well as the danish and pizza. Cramped inside gives an authentic feel, but plenty of beautiful outdoor seating and decoration. The french wording, Eiffel Tower model, and kind customer service really decorate this place well. 10/10 would recommend.

The pastries were amazing! The sandwiches were delicious on the best french bread I've had, so crunchy. The seating was really nice, good options of indoor and outdoor, with plenty of shade. I got an almond croissant, it was very flakey and filled with marzipan. Everyone I was with loved it, this place knocked it out of the park! I would definitely go back.

We were so excited to visit PB Boulangerie in the summer of 2023 for some authentic French treats. Coming from Boston and being a pastry chef myself I expected It to be good but not to be blown away. I was wrong! Every pastry was better than the last. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was wonderful. We came in for breakfast and immediately made a dinner reservation for my partners daughters 21st birthday later that week. I had the steak frites and it was phenomenal, followed by the raspberry tart that I still think about. The server was amazing and the restaurant was warm and inviting. Fast forward to this summer, July 2025, PBB was of course one of our first stops on our Cape vacation. We got the strawberry danish, apple turnover, pear tart and raspberry macaron. All were AMAZING! The Danish and turnover were perhaps two of the best breakfast pastries I have ever had. This time we did feel a bit rushed. We came right as they opened and the staff was clearly trying to keep the line moving which we totally understood. We probably would have spent a good walk more time and money if we hadn’t felt so rushed but my waistline didn’t need it :) and it gave us a reason to come back another day! We went back this morning, we got in line around 6:45 and were third to enter. We did not feel rushed at all this time and were able to look more thoroughly. My boyfriend got the ham and cheese croissant and both he and our dog LOVED it! It was warm and flaky, the ham was salty and crisp, it was really perfect. I came back for the Canelles and they did not disappoint! They were crispy and sweet on the outside, and custardy and moist inside. You could taste the rum just enough, they were as close to perfect as I have had. As someone who works in the industry, I absolutely love what they have done here. It’s like a little bit of France in Massachusetts. I enjoyed it so much that the first time we came in I reached out to see if I could stage while we were visiting! Unfortunately our schedules didn’t align but maybe someday! We were so sad that the restaurant wasn’t open this summer, it is clear that staffing issues have taken a toll. Hopefully they can reopen soon because it is really a special experience to dine with them. You can feel the love that is put into everything they do. Keep up the great work!

I arrived at 10:30am and started in the “express line” only to quickly realize I wanted the other line that allowed for visual access to all the beautiful and enticing pastries and cheeses! Yes, one of these and one of those until nearly 1 C-note later. Happy they offer some GF pastries. The GF raspberry tart received 2 thumbs up from our friend. We haven’t tried the aged sharp cheddar cheese yet. See pics for the some of treats I picked up. An eclair filled with a lovely chocolate mousse (it was not custard nor whipped cream), 2 raspberry tarts (1-nonGF, 1GF), an apricot danish (my favorite), a croissant, a chocolate croissant, a chocolate eventail, a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, a baguette, & an iced coffee. I will return to this bakery every time I’m in the area. The decorative atmosphere (indoor and outdoor seating) and service were lovely.
Dennise D — Google review
Surpasses the hype! Yes there’s a line (with good reason) but it moves fast and everyone is so pleasant and happy about what they’re about to be feasting on. In my experience it was like a happy, gushing over our love of good bread and pastries support group! And the people behind the counter were also kind and enthusiastic! But truly the pastries and bread (as well as the soup — I got the butternut squash!) is outstanding! Some of the best I have had in a long time. Worthy of a pilgrimage. I’m already dreaming of my return trip.

Seafood restaurant
Nestled by the serene waters of Cape Cod Bay, Sesuit Harbor Cafe is a quintessential seafood shack that captures the essence of New England dining. With its charming outdoor picnic tables overlooking Northside Marina, this spot is perfect for enjoying fresh coastal cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The star of the menu is undoubtedly their renowned lobster roll, served on a buttery New England-style bun and accompanied by crispy fries and homemade coleslaw.
The best combination of food taste, quality, price, and atmosphere on the cape. The line can be long but it moves pretty quick and even when it’s busy it’s easy to get a picnic table. The lobster roll is delicious, but honestly the star of the show might be the HUGE seared tuna sandwich. Also really enjoyed the fried clam plate better then the comber and macs IMO. Pro tip: bring a cooler with some adult beverages for your group to enjoy the sunset as the boats roll in. Pro tip: cash only but there’s an ATM Pro tip: if you want raw bar or soups you can go around the back and get in a way shorter line

This place was just okay. I would not come back here again especially considering how long the line always is. We came at 3:30pm as per advice to come at an off time to avoid the line and the line was still super long. We ended up leaving and coming back at 8:30am and there was no line. The breakfast food is just okay. It’s not really anything to rave about. It’s diner food but without the classic diner griddle tastiness. We also obviously had to try the lobster roll since everyone says it’s the best lobster roll on the cape. I had a better and bigger one at a different restaurant in the cape the day before and this was my first time in the cape! So it’s definitely not the best around, and not something I would come back for and stand in line for 1 hour for. I really don’t understand the hype about the food. The atmosphere is wonderful. Love the view from the backyard patio with the picnic tables. Absolutely gorgeous, can’t beat it.

**CASH ONLY** This place is pretty well known and as a result the line can get pretty long pretty fast. My advice? Come right before lunch (I recall it was 11am?) and just wait until they switch to the lunch menu. We got served pretty quick through this method. Outdoor seating only! Items we ordered (as of 9/2025). - Lobster Roll - $37.38 - Fantastic! If you're coming here you have to get this. A lot of lobster with great flavor. I would highly recommend this. - Mahi Sandwich - $23.36 - This wasn't bad but nothing special. Was hoping for more flavor from the fish. I would give this a pass. - Onion Rings - $9.35 - I'm a sucker for onion rings and these were delicious. Great batter and well seasoned. I would 100% order this again. - Clam Chowder - $6.54 - Pretty good but nothing special for us. - Scallop Plate - $23.36 - Delicious and recommended. Scallops were cooked perfectly. - Lobster Cake - $16.82 - Very good. You can really taste the lobster in the patty. Only wish they gave us more than 1! Overall if you're in the area I would definitely make the trip over here. Just plan to arrive early!

Hands down the best lobster roll we had in the area! It’s no surprise this place is a go-to spot—the line wrapped around the building at lunchtime. That said, they’re well-prepared for the crowds, and the line moved quickly. The location is also perfect for families. There’s a small sandy area with rocks where the kids played while we waited, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. They are CASH ONLY, just keep that in mind before you visit.

Just a unique experience with really good food and waterway views. First -there were ALOT of people here and my first impression was the great job they did with the limited parking area and high volume of people. The line to park moved very quickly and we had a spot within minutes. When I saw yet another line to order food I rolled my eyes but yet again the line moved quickly and despite the number of people had a full picnic table by the water for our party of seven! The food was brought to our table and everything raved about their choices. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves, but everyone cannot wait to go back!

Food is great. Lobster roll is expensive but they always are and it’s at least a generous amount. I also enjoy the clam chowder from the raw bar. A few notes: it’s cash only but there is an ATM. The line gets long around dinner in the summer time and sometimes after you order you need to wait to snag a table, but we can always find one. It’s also BYOB which is awesome and the view of the water is great.
Alice H — Google review
If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must-go during your trip to the cape. In my mind, this is the best (and biggest) lobster roll on the cape. All the seafood is good here, especially the oysters and tuna from the separate raw bar window. It's also a quintessential cape vibe, with picnic tables set alongside docked boats in the harbor. Also, it's BYOB, so bring some beers, wine, etc to enjoy!
David K — Google review
This spot serves up incredible seafood, maybe some of the best on the Cape. The location is amazing, right on the water, making it the perfect backdrop for a relaxed meal. It’s BYOB and cash only, so come prepared! The lobster roll is a must-try (no surprise there), and the onion rings are absolutely addictive. The line can get wicked long, especially in peak season, so I recommend arriving around 5 PM to beat the rush. Totally worth the wait!

American restaurant
The Old Yarmouth Inn, established in 1696, is a charming and elegant establishment located along the Historic Old King's Highway in Yarmouth Port. This historic inn and restaurant has been a beloved fixture in the area for generations, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere for visitors to enjoy classic New England cuisine made with locally sourced seafood.
Great local restaurant & tavern for almost any taste or occasion. I have been coming occasionally for years and the staff is almost like family now. The Tavern room (or bar seating) is the place to be and enjoy good food, drink and fun company. The dining room, or Red room are both great for larger parties or a special occasion. The Prime Rib on Friday or Saturday nights is probably one of the best on Cape Cod. Make sure you are there early or call ahead and reserve it, as it always sells out quickly. For a special occasion or just because, the Baked Stuffed Lobster is to die for! Make sure you are hungry if you order it!

Enjoyed our evening, first with drinks at their bar, then dinner. We had their crusted Haddock, which was very good with nice flavor. I also loved their lobster bisque as an appetizer. Our waitress was very attentive and made the evening special.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at the Old Yarmouth Inn in Dennis, Massachusetts! Everything was top-notch. On a friend's recommendation, I ordered Spencer's Manhattan, the stuffed quahog, and the sweet potato fries. When I mentioned the fries, the waitress casually said, "whatever floats your boat," which made me smile. Those fries were some of the best I've ever had—crispy, flavorful, and just perfect. The staff was friendly and seemed unaware of how incredible their food is! Highly recommend this gem!

I recently visited this Yarmouth inn , and it was absolutely delicious. The highlight of my meal was the lobster—it was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The rich butter sauce paired with it was incredible. The rest of the seafood was fresh and tasty as well. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was just right. If you love good lobster and fresh seafood, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended!

With an Olde fashioned tavern vibe, this place has been in business since the 1700's. It has a cozy bar and 3 different dining rooms to experience. Service was excellent with a curated menu that stands the test of time, as they reintroduce their all time favorites again and again for special holiday menus.

I spent months planning a special trip to Yarmouth Port for my wife and me. I carefully chose a beautiful place to stay (The Inn at Cape Cod — a solid 5 out of 5 stars!), mapped out a whale watching tour, a relaxing day on Nantucket with lunch at the Rose and Crown, and a visit to the whaling museum and quaint shops. For our final evening, I wanted something a little more upscale to cap off the trip — and The Old Yarmouth Inn seemed the perfect fit. And it is upscale. Housed in a well-preserved late 17th-century building, the Inn evokes a sense of colonial elegance. The seafood menu is broad, and yes, the prices reflect that — but so do the portions and the flavor, which helps justify the cost. But there’s a line between upscale and snobby. Things began well. We had reservations and were seated quickly in the main dining room. Nearby were several small parties, and one table of four with a rather loud, opinionated gentleman — I only know he was opinionated because he made sure everyone could hear it. We skipped appetizers, opting for entrees and dessert. My wife had the Lobster Pappardelle, and I chose the fish and chips. Once our meals arrived, however, our server more or less vanished. My water glass sat empty for 15 minutes while she tended, almost exclusively, to the louder table nearby. Obviously, larger tables can mean larger tips, and no restaurant can be held responsible for a guest who insists on commanding the floor. Still, we began to feel… invisible. Eventually, my wife gently called out to ask for water. The server smiled and said, “Of course,” but immediately turned to the busboy with a quick, dismissive, “Water here,” punctuated by a flick of the finger in our direction. From then on, he was our point of contact — including when he kindly relayed our dessert order. Aside from being a quiet table of two, I honestly don’t know what we did to receive such cold treatment. We were polite, dressed appropriately, and though I had a camera and took a few discreet photos, I wasn’t disruptive — others were doing the same. We were simply a couple hoping to end our trip on a warm and memorable note. Everywhere else we went in Yarmouth and Hyannis, we were met with kindness. And to be fair, any restaurant can have an off night, and any server — or owner, for that matter — can have a day when things feel a bit overwhelming. At The Old Yarmouth Inn, the food was very good — but the experience was not. And when I planned this meal, I was hoping for both. We were served, but we were not welcomed. Update: After I posted this review, the owner personally reached out. He was kind, professional, and made it clear he cared about both the customer experience and his staff. He also offered a refund — which I hadn’t asked for — as a gesture of goodwill. I deeply appreciated the call. It was a stand-up response from someone who clearly wants his restaurant to reflect both quality and hospitality. Were I to travel to Yarmouth Port again, the care shown in his response demonstrates that this is a class establishment worthy of another opportunity.

The ambience is great. Menus are daily. Seafood is beyond fresh. Meals are cooked to order and are excellent. Meals are above average expensive, but our 2 meals were superb. Service was okay. Our waitress kinda left my wife and I hanging during our meal while she was servicing her larger tables of customers finishing their meals. I would easily rate our meal in the high 4's if it weren't for the fact that I drank diet Pepsi during our meal while my wife had cocktails. I had 3 heavily iced glasses of diet Pepsi during our meal. Our final bill included charges for soda x 3 @ $4.00 each. My issue has nothing to do with a $4 charge for a soda. It has everything to do with our spending $120 + tip for two and to then be nickel and dimed by being charged for each one of my 3 sodas. The restaurant cost of a soda pour in an iced glass costs roughly $.03 per glass of soda, maybe less. I don't get why such a fine restaurant had to charge me for 3 diet sodas! Bad business and not necessary for the restaurant.

The Naked Oyster Bistro & Raw Bar is a chic dining spot located in downtown Hyannis, offering a modern space and a diverse menu featuring creative seafood dishes and an extensive wine list. The restaurant prides itself on using the freshest ingredients sourced from local fishermen and farmers, including oysters from its own farm in Barnstable Harbor. The cozy interior with exposed brick walls, original artwork, and modern light fixtures sets the stage for a delightful dining experience.
Everything was really tasty, service was good. A bit pricy though, and the shrimp was overcooked a bit for my taste, being kind of tough. The dessert of chocolate flan was excellent, I especially liked the flakes of salt on top.

Had a great time at The Naked Oyster! The oyster roulette added a fun twist to the meal, and the espresso martini was smooth and delicious. My scallops were perfect! The service was attentive, and the cozy, stylish vibe made it even better. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful experience. Celebrated a family Birthday here and it was all terrific 👍 I especially appreciated ⭐Damier⭐ our server who was very attentive and delivered everything we asked for. Food was hot and delicious! We will be back😊

Seafood was fresh and delicious. I ordered their signature haddock and lobster, which had great presentation and taste. The burrata had its own kick that you have to try to know. Ceiling decor was super cool too.

We spent a week on the Cape and this was the absolute best restaurant of any place we ate. Their oysters were phenomenal. They had different appetizer, dinner, and drink specials each night that never failed to impress. BBQ Bleu oysters were so good, I wish I could’ve packed a couple dozen to take home!!! Great service- highly recommend.

Some of the best dishes I’ve tried in a long time. The steak was cooked to perfection. The salmon and oysters were also delicious. The haddock & lobster was my favorite however.

Amazing night tonight at Naked Oyster. We ordered local fresh oysters with caviar and plain plus a colossal shrimp cocktail, the house salad, followed by sea bass special and salmon with a Tzatziki sauce and cooked perfectly. We decided to order the top three desserts- crème brulée, chocolate mousse and the cheesecake dessert were amazing! 10 out of 10 rating!!! Colleen was an incredible bartender-waitress for us at the bar!! My Mom passed away back in 1988, and her name was Florence. When I heard that the chef name is "Florence" I felt as if it was my Mom cooking for us, because my Mom was an incredible chef too! Loved every aspect of the meal, and hope to come back and meet the chef, Florence! Outstanding service and food! Thank you for a wonderful meal! XO

Seafood market
When in Chatham, MA, a visit to the Chatham Pier Fish Market on 45 Barcliff Ave Ext is a must. This market offers an authentic New England experience with its direct seawater tanks and views of fishermen unloading their catch. The menu includes a variety of seafood rolls, sandwiches, lobster bisque, clam chowder, and seafood baskets.
One of the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had! 🦞 The lobster was super fresh with a natural sweetness, and the mayo was just right present but not overpowering. The brioche bun? Toasted to absolute perfection. I also got the clam chowder. It was lighter and less creamy than I’m used to, but still so flavorful that I enjoyed every bite. We sat outside at the picnic tables and looked for seals at the pier afterwards. Didn’t see any so can’t wait to come back!
Tina H — Google review
This place definitely lives up to the hype. The food was delicious. I got the fried clam strips and my wife got the crab cake. We shared a clam chowder which was filled with a lot of clams. The service was pretty quick and went smoothly. Not much seating in the area but everyone was kind enough to share their table with strangers. Everyone was there for just good food. The biggest negative is the parking lot. We got very lucky but parking is very difficult here.
Jane K — Google review
We absolutely loved Chatham Pier Fish Market — the food was outstanding and the setting made it even more memorable. You walk inside, place your order, and the food is handed over through a pickup window, which gives it that casual, authentic fish-market feel. The seafood is as fresh as it gets. The fishing boats are literally a few feet away, unloading their catch. A couple of favorites here are the lobster roll, chowder, and fried fish combos. The portions are generous and the flavors top notch. The place itself is modest and no-frills, with picnic tables or benches outside where you enjoy your meal while taking in harbor views. Because it’s on the pier, you’re right by the water, with gulls overhead and fishing activity happening all around. Restaurant Guru Parking can be tricky in high season — you may have to wait or walk a bit. Go a little early (before peak lunch hour) to avoid long lines.

The freshest fish & shrimp was phenomenal. It came with a few choices of sides. The slaw and fries were excellent as well. It’s a busy place but worth it! It doesn’t have any indoor seating but lots of table and chairs very close to the market. It was cool and windy the day we were there and opted to eat it in our vehicle. We were able to watch a seal close from the pier area up top.
Brooke D — Google review
Phenomenal- the service was great and the food was amazing. We got 2 lobster rolls, one with fries and one with onion rings. The lobster was so fresh and warm, the rolls they came on were perfectly buttered and basically Melted in our mouths. The fries were really good but omg the onion rings were some of the best we’ve ever had. Would come back 10/10 times. Unfortunately we visited during the nor’easter so we had to eat in our car and pretend like we were sitting right next to the water 😂
Hayley D — Google review
Omg. If there was anything cuter than seals slapping each other, blowing bubbles, and laying on their backs I don’t know what it would be. We came here just to see the seals and it was amazing. The smell of fish isn’t too overwhelming either. You can see them unload the fish and everything else is done underneath. Definitely worth a visit.
Brittney G — Google review
Beautiful views and a great way to see the fishing industry in action. The restaurant near the pier is casual and excellent. Parking is a premium so be ready to wait during busy seasons.

🦞 LOBSTER MELT HEAVEN 🦞 Chatham Pier Fish Market (📍45 Barcliff Ave, Chatham, MA 02633) is THE place to be when you’re craving fresh Cape Cod seafood. 🌊☀️ The lobster melts here are NEXT LEVEL 🤯—ooey gooey deliciousness, packed with lobster meat, and best of all… dipped in lobster bisque. 🍞🧈🥣 Yes, you heard that right. The most elite move? Order fries 🍟 and dip those in the bisque too. Unreal. Don’t skip the shrimp either 🦐—it’s tender, flavorful, and seriously addicting. They don’t skimp on the lobster 🧡 and you can even grab fresh fish to take home! 🐟🐠 I’ve heard in the summer you can see seals chilling by the docks! 🦭 Just another reason this is a 10/10 must-visit spot. Counting down the days ‘til I’m back on the Cape! ⛱️
