Museums
Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego is a powerful memorial and museum that vividly portrays the 1944 battle for independence in Poland. Through an array of exhibits, including photographs, personal belongings, and audiovisual materials, visitors are immersed in the harrowing experiences of Warsaw's residents during Nazi occupation and the uprising. The museum features a replica Liberator B-24J bomber hanging from the ceiling, where guests can watch a film depicting post-destruction Warsaw.
Amazing museum. We got there around two hours before closing and still couldn’t get through it all! We did stop often to read the signs. It really gives a sense of how that terrible period was like with commentary that is still relevant today. Good price and clean place. Took a tram nearby to the old town.

To begin, Warsaw's diverse collection of museums is a significant attraction, and this particular museum is one that I highly recommend visiting with an audio guide. The Uprising Museum and Uprising Monument are located in two separate locations. It's worth noting that admission to this museum is free on Thursdays. The Warsaw Rising Museum's purpose is to honor the memory of the Warsaw Uprising's participants and victims, document the history of the Polish Underground State, and recount the story of the city's 63-day resistance against Nazi occupation during WWII. The museum features extensive video evidence documenting the atrocities that occurred. The exhibition commences with a timeline of events and then proceeds to a room used to educate children. I was stunned. Additionally, I found that I was unprepared for some of the video evidence. Towards the end of the exhibition, there was a video marked 'drastic scenes.' I was unable to view it. I experienced a panic attack. I met a gentleman whose face was severely swollen. He cried throughout the entire exhibition. One aspect that I had not previously realized until viewing the videos is the significant pride displayed by those individuals perpetrating such brutality.

It's a really cool place, that's for sure, but if you want to actually spend time reading everything (and there is a LOAD to read), it's not really... accommodating. A load of sounds, very dark, many bright/contrasting lights. I walked in knowing nothing and fine and walked out still knowing nothing with a headache. But the layout is very visually interesting, and I bet the texts are very good, but I gave up on reading them after the first few 'stations' because I genuinely couldn't focus 🤷‍♂️

Very interesting museum , the history is Poland is outrage of neighbors at list 20 century is very rough. The museum is presenting a lot through Poland suffered and Warsaw too. Big respect for this country. They understood nobody truly will save them then their citizens. Repect and big love for Polish people.

Very good museum about the Warsaw Uprising; educational and really well made. The guides were professional and knowledgeable on the subject, as well as each of the partisans and insurgents stories really touched my heart. It’s amazing to see such bravery while being crushed under the weight of hostilities and brutal suppression.
Kacper B — Google review
Impressive, saddening, well/maintained and displayed. Words are not enough to tell about it. What an edge people live on, between the war and the peace. And even in 2025 this BS continues to ruin lives. I’d highly recommend that parents bring their children and let them experience the history in this screen-time madness era.

The remarkable, resilient people of Warsaw. God Bless Poland! 🇵🇱 And don't ever forget the brave children who helped underground. Bless their souls.

One of the best museums ive ever been to. Informative and graphic at points really hits home the struggles and efforts of the WP. There are also sporadic sections with the ghettos and impacts on the Jewish community. Kudos to the museum for innovative ways of hiding the more graphic imagery in little concrete Wells or high up in peep holes. 10/10

Sights & Landmarks
The Palace of Culture and Science, a prominent 1950s architectural marvel in Warsaw, stands as one of the tallest buildings in Poland and the European Union. This iconic 44-floor high-rise is a symbol of modern Warsaw and offers an array of cultural experiences including theaters, museums, exhibitions, cinemas, restaurants, and bars. Visitors can also enjoy breathtaking city views from the 30th-floor View Terrace.
The most iconic building in Warsaw, 237 meters high! It was built in 1955 as a “gift” from the Soviet Union and Joseph Stalin. On the 30th floor there is an observatory with a panoramic view of the city. It opens its gates at 20:00. You can buy tickets online, as well as from machines on the ground floor or cash at the box office. Recommended!!
Loukas K — Google review
The Palace of Culture and Science is an interesting spot to visit in Warsaw. The building is huge and full of history, with good views from the top! It was pouring rain during our visit, but we were able to grab some coffee and icecream at the rooftop! There’s a mix of museums, theaters, and exhibitions inside—definitely worth checking out if you’re in the city.
Arch S — Google review
Good place to visit when in Warsaw. We went inside to explore and took elevator to viewing platform on 30th floor. Tickets have to be purchased for that but they were not very expensive and viewing is amazing. Area surrounding the Palace and Culture and Science is also very nice. Plenty of places to sit and relax or go to get some food.
Martyna A — Google review
What a great view of the city! This magnificent sowiet style building offers the best views of the skyline of Warsaw into every direction. The biggest downside? You can't see this beautiful building. Come here at sunset to experience Warsaw at day, night and see a nice red sky. It's also very affordable and there is a nice coffee spot on top.
Florian P — Google review
Soviet building but huge and fascinating. The most interesting building among all. Inside it has a lot if things but the panorama view on the 30th floor is breathtaking! I advise everyone to go there before the dawn, buy tickets in the self-service ticket machine (no need to book tickets in advance) in the hall and watch the beautiful city from the height, especially at night ✨✨✨ The building itself is gliwing with colir lights at night 👌✨
Julia V — Google review
It is a very unique and monumental building. The history behind it is controversial, but they’ve managed to repurpose it to a cultural, scientific and historical end. It was nice to go up and have a 360 view of the city.
Rodrigo C — Google review
The must in Warsaw. Recommend to read a little bit about of the place before visit, to understand the history and the historical context. Visit the view point on 30th floor, for excellent panorama of Warsaw, walk around, visit open places inside.
Daryush H — Google review
We had a wonderful view from the viewing terrace. There is information about the surrounding buildings and neighbourhoods everywhere, which makes the view even more interesting. If you are in Warsaw, you should definitely visit this sight. A great experience

Castle
Museums
The Royal Castle in Warsaw is a reconstructed 14th-century palace that showcases an impressive art collection and offers guided tours of the royal apartments. Despite suffering significant damage during World War II, the castle was meticulously restored in the 1970s. It now serves as part of the National Museum, featuring original exhibits and housing 37 paintings in its Lanckoronski Collection, including two beloved Rembrandt portraits.
The Royal Castle in Warsaw is a remarkable blend of beauty, history, and resilience. Standing proudly in Castle Square, it serves as a powerful symbol of Poland’s rebirth after being completely destroyed during World War II and meticulously reconstructed. Inside, the lavishly decorated rooms, ornate chandeliers, and rich art collections — including works by Rembrandt — capture both royal grandeur and national pride. Walking through its halls feels like experiencing centuries of Polish history, from monarchy to modernity. More than just a museum, the Royal Castle embodies the enduring spirit of Warsaw and is an essential visit for anyone wanting to understand the city’s cultural heart!
Arch S — Google review
The Royal Castle in Warsaw is an absolute must-visit for anyone interested in Polish history and architecture. Standing proudly at the entrance of the Old Town, this beautifully reconstructed palace tells a powerful story of resilience. Completely destroyed during World War II, it was rebuilt with incredible precision, funded by donations from Polish citizens. The restoration is so detailed that you feel like you are stepping into an authentic 17th-century royal residence. Inside, the rooms are lavishly decorated with rich tapestries, grand chandeliers, and stunning paintings, including works by Rembrandt and Canaletto. The Throne Room, Marble Room, and Great Assembly Hall are particularly breathtaking. Walking through these halls, you can easily imagine the grandeur of royal ceremonies that once took place here. One of the highlights is the “From Destruction to Reconstruction” exhibition, which shows how the Castle was meticulously rebuilt from ruins — a deeply emotional experience. The surrounding Royal Gardens offer peaceful views over the Vistula River and are perfect for a quiet stroll after the visit. A great tip is that entry is free every Wednesday, so if you’re planning your visit, try to take advantage of that. However, be prepared for possible crowds on free days. The only downside is that the ticketing and entry process can be a bit chaotic, and some staff members seemed less helpful to tourists who don’t speak Polish. Despite that, the experience is unforgettable. The Royal Castle is not just a museum — it’s a symbol of Poland’s spirit.
MAT — Google review
A beautiful visit — definitely worth it. The Royal Castle in Warsaw is impressive for its history and the elegance of its rooms. On Wednesdays, admission is free — a great opportunity to explore the site at no cost. I recommend arriving about 30 minutes before opening time to avoid lines and secure your ticket, as the number of free entries is limited.
Luana B — Google review
The Royal Castle in Warsaw is absolutely stunning and very impressive! The castle is huge, with beautifully decorated rooms and rich history throughout. I spent about 2.5 hours exploring and listening to the free audio guide, which was incredibly helpful and informative. There are free lockers downstairs for your belongings, and there’s also an introductory movie next to the lockers before starting the tour. Unfortunately I didn’t notice it, but I am sure it’s a nice addition before starting the tour. It can get quite crowded at times, but it’s definitely worth visiting. A must-see landmark for anyone interested in history, architecture, and Polish culture!
Tila N — Google review
It’s genuinely hard to believe that this is not the original castle - it blends in perfectly with the surrounding buildings and architecture but somehow is less than 50 years old. Impressive resolve from the Polish people to set out to wipe out the damage and erasure that the Nazi’s tried to impose upon them in the 1940s. So much of Polish history is stories of their people resisting, and this building is a beautiful monument to that.
Conor S — Google review
The tour is impressive, to say the least. We really enjoyed our visit here, it’s a good introduction in the polish history and it is very understandable and quite well compelled, even for a foreigner. The only (minor) downside is there are probably too many details about the architectural features 😁
Teodor ( — Google review
The Royal Castle Museum in Warsaw is an absolute must-see, not just for visitors to the city but for anyone interested in Poland’s history and identity. It was here that the last King of Poland, Stanisław August Poniatowski, sought to modernise the country. His reign brought lasting reforms such as the Commission of National Education and his central role in drafting the Constitution of 3 May 1791 – the first modern constitution in Europe and the second in the world after the U.S. Constitution of 1787. The Senators’ Chamber (Sala Senatorska), where this landmark act was adopted, remains one of the most moving rooms to visit, steeped in the spirit of reform and courage. The castle also bears witness to Poland’s darkest hours. The dramatic protest of Tadeusz Rejtan against the Partition Sejm, later immortalised by Jan Matejko, symbolises resistance to betrayal by magnates such as Adam Poniński (shown with Russian bribe money at his feet), Szczęsny Potocki, Franciszek Ksawery Branicki, and Seweryn Rzewuski. Matejko’s great canvases displayed here vividly portray both the passion of the reformers and the despair at Poland’s fall, partitioned by Russia, Prussia, and Austria and erased from the map for 123 years until 1918. Beyond politics, the Royal Castle is also a treasury of art. Among its highlights are the magnificent cityscapes of Canaletto (Bernardo Bellotto), painted with almost photographic accuracy thanks to the use of a camera obscura. These 18th-century views of Warsaw turned out to be invaluable after the devastation of the Second World War, when they became the blueprints for the city’s meticulous reconstruction. The collection also includes masterpieces by European painters such as Rembrandt – though unfortunately, the signage and guidance towards these works were not very clear, and we missed them on our visit. While the museum itself is magnificent, the customer service and staff guidance could be improved. Clearer directions, more attentive advice, and better signposting would ensure that visitors don’t overlook key treasures like Rembrandt’s paintings. Overall, the Royal Castle is a living chronicle of Poland’s resilience, combining political history, national tragedy, and artistic splendour. It is a place where history, art, and identity converge, and despite some shortcomings in visitor support, it remains one of Warsaw’s most important and unforgettable landmarks.

Amazing and overwhelming at times. The ceilings, furniture and inlays were very authentic. The blue room, the red room, the gold room, etc. they were all stunning. And the artwork, so many pictures, walls and walls of historical artwork. My favorite room was where they used semi authentic lighting to show how mirrors were used to reflect candle light to light the rooms. It helped give you an idea of what it must have been like. Also the ceramic structures that were in each room to show how the rooms were heated. My favorite was the one with the dolls around it. Cannot recommend this enough. If you don't do anything else you must come here.

Art Museums
The Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów is a meticulously restored 17th-century royal residence that offers a captivating blend of art, history, and architecture. Visitors can explore the opulent palace interiors, including the Apartments of King Jan III and the Potocki Museum with its extensive glassware collection. The baroque garden and landscaped park surrounding the palace provide a serene retreat from urban life.
I purchased the full inclusive ticket, which gave me access to both the palace and the beautiful palace park. I arrived early and had time to explore the gardens, which were absolutely lovely—peaceful, well-maintained, and full of charm. While walking around, I discovered a kayaking service on the lake within the park, which was such a pleasant surprise. I hired a boat and spent some time kayaking on the serene water—definitely a unique and relaxing experience before heading into the palace. Inside the palace, the audio guide was a must—it provided detailed explanations of the exhibits and really added depth to the visit. After the tour, I enjoyed a nice break at the café located just outside the palace but still within the garden area. A perfect spot to unwind with a coffee and soak in the atmosphere. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Beautiful surroundings, interesting history, and thoughtful amenities. Highly recommend!

We purchased garden-only tickets and the grounds were absolutely stunning. Rose gardens, statues, fountains, topiary and the river running right next to the grounds where you can sit and watch the world go by. If you walk along the river there are small boats you can rent in the summertime and the oath continues for a good stretch it you're in the walking mood. Plenty of paid car parks around but there is a free one at Stanislawa Kostki Potockiego 24, 02-958 Warszawa but it does get busy. Lots of nice restaurants and ice cream parlours around that area too. We visited the palace on a Friday but their website mentions that the tickets are completely free on Thursdays so worth considering if you can go on a weekday. To walk around inside the palace there are limited tickets to manage traffic and wear-and-tear so there are timed slots for you to arrive between when booking your ticket. If you are looking around the gardens, the timings are more relaxed.
Emma G — Google review
The castle itself is beautiful on the outside, especially in a good weather. I strongly recommend visiting the gardens because they are beautiful and arranged and tidy. On the inside, I found the superior floors more entertaining and the paintings way more beautiful, they seemed more private. Also, if you're lucky and come in midweek, there might not be a lot of tourists so you'll feel you have the castle for your own. You can buy tickets directly there and audio guide. Overall beautiful, it's called the Polish Versailles and I can understand why
Paul — Google review
Palac and all the grounds are absolutely beautiful. We mananged to go to museum for free. Not sure how much are the tickets but I'm sure not too expensive. I have absolutely loved the grounds. There are paths around lake and woods and beautiful gardens. Definitely worth the visit.

The Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów is one of Warsaw’s most beautiful places, a stunning palace surrounded by magnificent gardens. The winter light show is absolutely magical: the palace facade and gardens come alive with colour, music, and dazzling displays. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone who loves art, history, and beauty. Truly a must-see in Warsaw!
Sergei N — Google review
I visited the Wilanów Palace with rather high expectations, encouraged by the many enthusiastic reviews describing it as one of Warsaw’s main attractions. Well, the reality turned out to be quite different: 50 złoty for access to barely a dozen rooms, none of which truly stand out either historically or artistically. The interiors, while well preserved, do not showcase any remarkable or unique pieces that could justify such an admission fee. In many European museums, you get far more substance and richness for the same price. And the park? Again, a lot of expectations and little substance. Pleasant, yes, but nothing that can be compared to the great royal residences of Europe. To put it in perspective: if the Royal Palace of Caserta deserves a full 5 stars, this little manor, with all due respect, barely reaches 2. Not out of malice, but simply for the sake of honesty. What I find a bit misleading is the constant comparison to far grander royal residences: it risks inflating the reputation of places that are, in truth, just “nice,” and ultimately distorts the perception of what true artistic and architectural excellence is. Wilanów is a pleasant complex, worth a look if you’re already in Warsaw with time to spare, but objectively speaking, nothing that could be called “unmissable.” In short, if you’re looking for a quiet stroll and a few pretty photos, it may serve the purpose. But if you expect a cultural experience of high value or something comparable to Versailles, Schönbrunn, or Caserta, be prepared to leave rather underwhelmed.
Dario P — Google review
Wilanów Palace is one of the most important works of Polish Baroque architecture and a symbol of Poland’s rich history. Built in the second half of the 17th century for King Jan III Sobieski, it served both as a royal residence and a center of cultural and artistic life. From the outside, it impresses with its monumental, symmetrical structure, richly decorated façades, and harmoniously designed gardens in French and English styles, which change with the seasons and create a unique landscape. The palace interiors are equally impressive – the rooms are filled with works of art, portraits, sculptures, furniture, and tapestries that tell the story of the Polish nobility and court life in the 17th and 18th centuries. Each room has its own character, and the decorations reflect the luxury of the Baroque era. Highlights include the richly decorated Marble Hall, the palace chapel, and the gallery of portraits of the Sobieski family and other important historical figures. I visited the palace in winter last year, and even in the cold, quiet season, the place made a huge impression. The gardens, covered in snow, looked almost magical, and the silence allowed me to fully feel the historical atmosphere of the palace. Moreover, the ticket for both the gardens and the palace interiors is reasonably priced, and it’s well worth it – every room in the palace and every detail of the gardens leave a lasting impression. Wilanów Palace is not only an architectural monument but also a living lesson in history and culture, and it is definitely worth visiting, regardless of the season.
Przemyslaw K — Google review
Yesterday I visited Wilanów Palace with my family, and it truly felt like a journey back in time – to the age of King Jan III Sobieski and the late 17th century. Our guide gave us a fascinating introduction to the palace’s origins. Jan III, elected king from his hometown Żółkiew near Lviv, never enjoyed living in Warsaw’s Royal Castle. Instead, he expanded a former hunting manor in Milanów, transforming it into his beloved residence. He named it Villa Nova (“new town”), which over time became Wilanów. The palace was built in the Baroque style, in the same spirit as Louis XIV’s Versailles. Jan III and his wife, Queen Maria Kazimiera d’Arquien (“Marysieńka”), were deeply inspired by French culture – they spoke French at home, and Marysieńka herself was raised in France until the age of four before coming to Poland. She had first been married to Jan Zamoyski, and after his death became the wife of Sobieski. Wilanów is above all the residence of the victor of Vienna (1683). The king dreamed of establishing a dynasty for his children – something reflected in the symbolic family portraits preserved in the palace. In one painting, Marysieńka appears with her children, accompanied by a lion (Sobieski’s power and courage), a dolphin (the heir, symbol of succession), and an eagle (the majesty of the Polish Commonwealth). Together, these elements conveyed the idea of continuity and dynastic ambition, even though in Poland the throne was not hereditary but elective. After Jan III’s death, Marysieńka was forced to leave the country with her children, as the Saxon Wettin dynasty secured the crown. The palace later passed into the hands of powerful noble families such as the Sieniawskas and Potockis, and remarkably survived both the partitions of Poland and even the Second World War. During the German occupation, Hungarian allied troops were stationed in the palace, which spared it from the destruction that devastated most of Warsaw. The guide also reminded us how harsh the 17th century was for the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth: wars raged almost without pause (supposedly only 100 days of the entire century were free of fighting), and a cooling climate even froze the Baltic Sea, allowing Swedish troops to march across the ice during the infamous Deluge. Our visit to Wilanów was not only a beautiful walk through a Baroque residence but also a history lesson – filled with stories of the king, the queen, their dynastic hopes, and the turbulent fate of the Commonwealth. This place truly allows you to feel the spirit of old Poland and its role in Europe.

Nolita is a stylish restaurant in Warsaw known for its inventive modern cuisine and colorful artworks. With over a decade of experience, this mature and self-confident establishment offers elegant dishes with a powerful European base and subtle Asian influences. Chef Jacek Grochowina's masterful execution shines through in the broad range of flavors, from Wagyu dim sum to parsnip ravioli with Perigord truffle.
Excellent food and wine and very kind and attentive service, we had a great experience! Can highly recommend

I started with a classical, an Antonius polish caviar, with its smooth light salty taste with a Chablis wine. After that I had the Silvija with a risotto, the risotto could be actually better, it was missing white wine acidity in it. My coup de cœur ! Best signature dish was the tuna yuzu, impressive fresh taste accompanying the best tuna sort of the world. Another signature dish, a mixture between polish and Asian spices and food. Another amazing culinary experience was the octopus, after being boiled and gilled, it’s served with a crunchy accompaniment with a glas of vintage Chardonnay. Everything was perfect, the staff and the chef are very friendly, adding a note of sympathy and warmth to the place. I really enjoyed and recommend Nolita Restaurant in Warsaw.

Polish restaurants remain largely undiscovered by many international visitors, yet they undoubtedly stand as strong competitors to some of the best dining experiences in Western Europe. It all begins with the food, which consistently impresses with its rich flavors and high-quality ingredients. But it does not end there—service is equally exceptional, warm, and attentive. The restaurant we visited for dinner today is clear evidence of this. We enjoyed outstanding dishes, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere that made the evening truly memorable. I would highly recommend exploring Polish cuisine—you will be pleasantly surprised.

Been there in December 2022. This is Michelin recommended, they do not have a star. Took tasting menu with wine paring. I would say there was the best sea bass with dark rice i ever tried, magnificent! Wine was not something special, could be better. Oysters are served without lemon and any sauce, they were to plain. Try pumpkin ravioli, interesting paring. Good classic cocktails, i had negroni. The bad thing was, that we were seated by the window, and there was a radiator, that was so hot, we couldn’t seat there because of heathens, and they can do nothing about this. Waiters are professional, talk to you. If you want to try good food i am highly recommend. Tasting menu takes about 2.5h

Phenomenal restaurant, had the 5 course menu with the addition of wine selection. Food was absolutely amazing, service was outstanding and the chef himself was an amazing person. We booked this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and it matched our expecations. We had the five course tasting menu with the wine package. Highly recommended! The wine pairings were near perfection. The weakest part of the dinner was the dessert, but overall it is a five out of five. Good service, and well worth the money.

Booked a table for a tasting menu where meals are not pre- defined but prepared specially for you based on basic menu and your preferences, allergies, ingredients restrictions. The service is excellent- easy going, no artificial behavior however very caring and professional- big plus for this. The food: tasting menu is 5 course with amuse- bouchée served couple of times. All ingredients are excellent, taste compositions are surprising sometimes ( especially starters) however it magnifies the experience of this restaurant. Meats and fish based dishes- delicious. You will also find a lot of foie gras adding in various meals. Note:You need to be really hungry for tasting menu as they will not let you go hungry.

Alewino is a unique and intimate restaurant and wine bar located in Warsaw. It offers a wide selection of international wines to complement its elevated seasonal dishes. The restaurant has gained popularity over the years and has been highlighted with a Bib Gourmand award. Tucked away in a secret garden off Mokotowska Street, the ambiance is charming with mature trees, colorful hydrangeas, and aromatic herbs creating an inviting atmosphere.
I recently dined at this exceptional restaurant in Warsaw, proudly listed in the Michelin Guide, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish was meticulously crafted, bursting with flavor and uniquely presented. Each bite told a story, highlighting the chef’s remarkable creativity and attention to detail. The wine selection was equally impressive, offering an extensive variety to suit every palate. Whether you’re a connoisseur or just exploring, there’s something for everyone. The staff’s knowledge and recommendations made the pairing experience truly memorable. From the exquisite cuisine to the impeccable service, this place is an absolute must-visit for any food lover. A hidden gem worth discovering This lovely restaurant offers excellent food and exceptionally friendly staff. Although the entrance is discreet—tucked away in what looks like a parking area in an upscale neighborhood—don’t be discouraged. Keep going, and you’ll find yourself in a beautiful garden filled with trees, plants, and herbs. The menu stands out with unique dishes you won’t find elsewhere, showcasing the chef’s creativity and flair. Each plate is presented like a small piece of art, and the combinations of flavors and textures are truly delightful. While Polish wines aren’t prominently featured on the menu, we recommend surprising yourself with a glass of Turnau Solaris (2023) — a white wine that pairs wonderfully with the food. We would absolutely come back — a fantastic dining experience from start to finish.

Visited Alewino while in Warsaw as a fancier night out. We chose this resto for its rave reviews and Michelin guide, and our experience met our expectations. Our server was lovely and knowledgeable, helping us with wine selections based on our preferences, and the food was delectable (particularly the oysters and beef tartare to start). When we arrived at 7, the restaurant was quiet but by the time we were leaving around 930 the rooms were full and chatty. Definitely recommend Alewino!

We have dined in Alewino during our first visit to Warsaw. We have chosen because of his food rating and being on the Michelin list. Our experience met our expectation. The food was amazing! We have started with beef tartare and the trumpet mushrooms and our main dishes were pork cheeks and risotto! Pork cheeks were tender and risotto paired amazingly with tomatoes and ginger dressing. We have paired our food with two white wines! It’s a must visit if you value good quality food!

An excellent restaurant at Warsaw. It is a little bit tricky to find the entrance. However, you will not regret to spend that small effort to find the restaurant. The atmosphere is good, the service is excellent, the quality of the food is the best I have in the trip, and the price is fair. I ordered the pork cheek and risotto. The meat of the pork cheek is very tender and juicy. The risotto has a very good flavor, the rice has an excellent texture, with some chewy feeling. For those that are searching for an excellent restaurant at Warsaw, I highly recommend this one. You will not dispointed.

My experience at this restaurant was delightful. Despite its unconventional layout, characterized by corridors and rooms that may initially seem smaller than they actually are, the ambiance was cozy, particularly at the entrance. Upon our arrival at 7 p.m. on a Friday, the restaurant was relatively quiet, but it gradually filled up as the evening progressed. The service was attentive, and the menu offered intriguing options. The food was flavorful with reasonable portion sizes. Although not the cheapest, the pricing was justified given its Michelin recommendation. The restroom amenities were a pleasant surprise. Overall, it's a worthwhile dining destination.

Fine dining restaurant
Nuta is a renowned restaurant in Warsaw, known for being the only restaurant in the city with a Michelin star. The menu offers Italian dishes with Polish and Asian influences, creating a unique dining experience. Visitors praise the pleasant staff, interactive demonstrations for each course, and carefully curated menu. The Maestro menu is highly recommended, featuring innovative dishes like the Chef's take on ramen and delightful desserts such as 'Szarlotka' (apple pie).
Pros: Excellent food! Great explanation of the food Nicely decorated food Good service Beautify Location and indoor decoration Employer seem to care deeply about workers Cons: The volume from all the guests were quite loud, sometimes hard to hear the waiter and table companion. Would have liked a drinking menu from the start and information that the drinking pairing came later in the dinner.

this was my first Michelin star experience and hands down the best culinary experience I ever had. the food was phenomenal, each dish prepared with such care that it was a party in our mouths. especially loved the twist of mizeria in a small green ball and the hot dog, two traditional dishes which were elevated to another level. the bread and butter was fabulous, and the desserts memorable. keep in mind that everything in this restaurant is homemade. even the sundried tomatoes were dried over there! it is expensive but it is definitely worth it!

An Unexpected Culinary Journey: A Review of Nuta Restaurant I must confess, I am not typically a fan of fusion nouvelle cuisine. The idea of deconstructed classics and unconventional flavor pairings often leaves me skeptical. However, last night dining experience at Nuta Restaurant in Warsaw completely shattered my preconceived notions, delivering a culinary journey that was as profound as it was delicious. From the moment we stepped inside, Nuta exuded a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. The modern, elegant decor, with its subtle nods to music and art, set the stage for what was to be a truly theatrical performance. And at the heart of this performance is the maestro himself, Chef Andrea Camastra. Chef Camastra is a true artist. In the menu he meticulously extracts and combines flavors to create a harmonious symphony on the palate. We opted for the "Virtuoso" menu, and each course was a revelation. A seemingly simple pierogi was transformed into a delicate dumpling with a captivating blend of Polish and Chinese influences. And there was more and more surprises along all the evening. The service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate. Our waiter guided us through each course, explaining the stories and inspirations behind the dishes, making the experience interactive and engaging. The wine pairings were perfectly matched, enhancing the flavors and adding another layer of complexity to the meal. Nuta isn't just a restaurant; it's a destination. It's a place where tradition meets innovation, and where a talented chef's creativity and passion shine through in every bite. For someone who was a skeptic of fusion cuisine, I am now a devoted convert to the artistry of Andrea Camastra. I highly recommend Nuta to anyone visiting Warsaw. It is a world-class dining experience that is, without a doubt, one of the most memorable meals you will ever have.

Absolutely amazing place. Visited Andrea Camastra’s “Senses” twice so had high hopes for “Nuta” and they were definitely fulfilled. The place itself is decorated with lovely murals and art pieces. The music playing is nice and at a volume that’s pleasant. The food was amazing and the service was as well. Very attentive staff who were delighted to tell us about the food and wine. Would visit again.

I celebrated my birthday at Nuta and chose the Maestro tasting menu - an excellent experience from start to finish. Service was warm and professional, and the flavor combinations were extraordinary. My favorites were the cheese board, the ramen with lobster, and the beef with mushrooms and mizeria. Creative, precise, and delicious. Highly recommend for a special evening in Warsaw.

This was my fourth Michelin-starred experience – and without a doubt, the most memorable one so far. NUTA delivers a truly extraordinary sensory journey that goes beyond expectations. Each dish is a delicate balance of Polish heritage and modern elegance, executed with precision, creativity, and emotion. The flavors are bold yet refined, the textures surprising, and every plate feels like a story unfolding. The service is flawless – attentive, warm, and highly professional – and the atmosphere strikes that rare harmony between sophistication and comfort. NUTA is not just a meal, but a celebration of culinary art. A must-try in Warsaw, even for seasoned fine dining lovers.

Wow !!! This 1 michelin star restaurant is really amazing! From the second you enter until the second you are leaving you can fill the quality around everything! Now let's talk about the food, we think that every dish were really good and it feel like a journey that you pass with the restaurant, the stuff were super professional and kind. We are so happy that we choose to come and eat here. Great experience and great value!

It’s definitely a five star experience in terms of food, every dish was beautifully crafted and clearly required great skill and attention to detail. However, I found it a bit hard to fully relax, same for my partner, as the main waiter’s detailed explanations came across as somewhat pompous and slightly condescending. We were hoping to simply enjoy our meal, not to be lectured. The rest of the staff, though, were warm, friendly, and had a good sense of humor, which helped balance the atmosphere. I also appreciate that they managed to accommodate us with a same day reservation and tried best to accommodate for our dietary preferences.

Restauracja Belvedere is an elegant and luxurious dining spot situated in the New Orangery of the Warsaw Royal Bath Gardens, offering a regal yet exotic ambiance surrounded by lush greenery. It's a popular choice for special occasions or business lunches. The restaurant's Polish menu has garnered praise from discerning clientele and has been recommended by the Michelin Guide since 2008.
Such a beautiful place! We were freezing after our walk in the park and we wanted to quickly find someplace warm where we could rest and eat something. Our guide from a previous excursion talked about this place in a very positive way and we decided to try it. It’s an amazing restaurant. The decoration is so special, with all these hidden nooks and crannies, surrounded by beautiful huge plants, that give you privacy but also a cosy and protective feeling. The Christmas decorations still on were also top notch. Our food was delicious. We asked for the mushroom soup and the Polish dumplings with truffle sauce and everything was delicious, and the portions were rather generous. Also, they had real fresh orange juice, which was a plus. Extremely polite and professional staff. Not a bargain lunch, but definitely a special one, in an incredible setting and one to repeat later one day. Highly recommend!

I have loved this restaurant for a long time. But this time, I took my mother there for the first time and she was deeply impressed by the location, great service (Patryk) and delicious food. I couldn't have celebrated my 32nd birthday any better. Thank you! Xavier Btw the wine selection of the sommelier was on point 😌

We had the absolute best time celebrating a birthday brunch at restaurant Belvedere. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was perfectly prepared, fresh, and beautifully presented. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was Adam! He was hands down the best server ever—engaging, funny, and incredibly welcoming. He made sure we were well taken care of the entire time and added such a great energy to our celebration. His service went above and beyond, making our special occasion even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and top-tier service, this is it. Huge thanks to Adam and the entire team for making our brunch so special. We can’t wait to come back!

Went for a business dinner with two colleagues. Service was very prompt and organized. Kitchen coordinated our food perfectly. I particularly enjoyed the flavorful mushroom soup, though main course was also excellent. The interior is very elegant with a lot of attention to detail, but it is not overbearing. I am looking forward to going again.

Location can't be beat. Service is excellent. The food is delicious. Very nice selection of dishes, so that anyone will find something of interest. Don't skip out on the dessert. Their offerings are delightful. Leave yourself plenty of time to enjoy the surrounding park as a nice, leisurely walk might do you some good after a very satisfying meal.

Stary Dom, located in Warsaw's Mokotow district, is a cozy restaurant with a traditional Polish atmosphere. The interior features high beamed ceilings and wooden panels, creating a homey feel. The menu offers well-known Polish dishes such as Kashubian herring and Greater Poland cold meats. The restaurant's ambiance is reminiscent of an old house, with beautiful wooden furniture and black-and-white photos adorning the walls.
Our first meal in Europe was at this restaurant, we were taken by our polish friends and even they said this place was great. We order, beer, traditional Polish entrees, and the main dish, mine was slow cooked beef cheek, was out of this world. My favorite was the potato dumplings with meat inside (I forgot the name). They call Warsaw the “Paris of the East” and after this introduction, I will return; however, if you want to try some amazing food, come here.

The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel truly welcomed. The food is simply amazing every dish is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The flavors are rich and authentic, and you can tell a lot of love and care goes into the cooking. It’s the kind of place where every bite makes you want to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great food in a cozy, elegant setting!

Stary Dom is one of those places that just gets it right. The service is spot on being warm, attentive, never overbearing; the kind that makes you feel looked after without even noticing. And the beef tartar? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Prepared at the table, full of flavour, sharp, clean, and unforgettable. This isn’t a restaurant trying too hard; it’s a restaurant that knows exactly who it is. Tradition, craft, and genuine hospitality all rolled into one. A place I’d go back to in a heartbeat!!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic experience! Stary Dom is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in Warsaw. The food was absolutely delicious beautifully presented and full of authentic flavor. The décor is charming and elegant, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended we’ll definitely be coming back!

Good visit. I was able to get in as 1 person without a reservation in the afternoon. Good rye soup. Unique execution of a pierogi potentially using lemon in the sauce. I ordered the sweet cheese thinking it was a pierogi as well, instead it was fried squares. They were quiet greasy and I would not recommend them, but overall still a great experience

If you want a polish fine dining experience without the snobbery, come here. The food is excellent, service is on point and atmosphere & setting is beautiful. The steak tatar - best we’ve ever had, every dish we ordered was fantastic. Highly recommend!

The presentation was impressive, the service was attentive, and the food was very tasty. The tartar was especially delicious, and the prawn starter with garlic butter sauce was incredibly yummy. My friend and I enjoyed a great dinner overall.

The food was really delicious, especially the kapusniak and the tatar. They also have a nice selection of wine! But what truly made the experience outstanding was the excellent service from the entire team — especially Daniel, who went above and beyond. Highly recommend!
