Palazzo Ricchieri in Pordenone dates back to the 13th century and was originally a defensive tower house. It later became the residence of the noble Ricchieri family under Venetian rule. Today, it houses the Civic Art Museum, showcasing wooden sculptures and original works by Pordenone. The elegant Gothic facade and well-preserved interior offer visitors a glimpse into history.
Some lovely Venetian buildings and architecture, with fresco paintings on the outside of the buildings that line the streets. Some caffes and restaurants nearby.

Good despite illegal van parking in front of the building😅
M D — Google review
It's a small town but very fancy and clean, well preserved and taken care of, with friendly people. It takes you in a medieval atmosphere. Everything seemed to me to be Venetian-like styled. But this is because the whole region is mutually influenced and influencing with regard to architecture, culture, habits and so on. Palazzo Riccchieri looks good on the outside, it's been rehabilitated in a manner I really like, because it shows portions of the old coating coming out through the new coating of the walls. This happens to all old and rehabilitated buildings in Pordenone. Unfortunately I did not have the occasion to get inside, as it was late when we arrived there.

City hall, Pordenone Beautiful but somewhat badly kept. Nothing much. Located in the middle of the city in the traffic free area.

Sights & Landmarks
The Duomo Concattedrale di San Marco, located in the central square of the same name, may not have an impressive exterior due to its unfinished facade, but it houses a rich interior adorned with exquisite Renaissance artwork. The Chapel of St. Nicholas and the Resurrection are just a few examples of the stunning frescoes found within. Adjacent to Palazzo Comunale is Palazzo Ricchieri, adding to the historic charm of Pordenone.
Italy is very famous for its churches. This beautiful church is one of them. It is a very peaceful and relaxing place and what to say about the workmanship! Wherever you look, you get to see amazing workmanship that just blows your mind. Its beauty forces you to concentrate on yourself. So that your mind is forced to spend more and more time here. If you are a tourist then according to me you would have rarely seen such magnificent churches as in Italy.

Quiet long hallway, polite monks, full souls, thanks for your hospitality!
Sladjana Z — Google review
Beautiful duomo, second most beautiful church interior in Friuli in my personal opinion, after Aquileia basilica. Pordenone doesnt offer much in terms of tourist attractions, but this church is a highlight and big surprise. Amazing side altars and mosaics in various cathedral sections.

Outside looks pretty rough, but inside, it's some glorious Baroque. Must see, if in town. Campanile is quite nice too

The Silvia Zenari Civic Museum of Natural History, located next to the Town Hall in Pordenone, is housed in the historic Palazzo Ricchieri. The museum features well-curated displays and a clean, tidy environment that is perfect for a leisurely visit of about 1.5 hours. Visitors appreciate the accessibility of exhibits for children and the ongoing addition of new specimens. The staff is known for their warm hospitality and willingness to share intriguing anecdotes about the museum's history and collections.
Small and cheap natural history museum. We spent a lot of time in the mineral and bug rooms and we were in the museum for about an hour. The exhibits are only presented in Italian but google translate handled it well.
Hayleigh — Google review
You will be captured by perfect taxidermy of beatles and birds. Very kind personal.
Reza K — Google review
Great museum, which has well thought out displays presented in a beautiful manner. The facilities are neat, tidy, and very clean. It's also a perfect size. It's not too big, and not too small. Allow about 1.5 hours to see everything properly. It was a great experience, particularly on a wet cold day!
Jay M — Google review
Outstanding museum for a city as small as Pordenone! Staff is very welcoming and helpful. If you ask they'll tell you interesting anecdotes about the history of the museum and its exhibits.
Max M — Google review
Wonderful place where you can learn a lot !
ROTH C — Google review
Especially wonderful for small children as the glass shelves start from floor level and most of the taxidermy animals are on the floor without a fence around them. Lots of specimen and I have kept coming over the years as there is always something new to be found.

Great place. Really liked the diversity from minerals, to insects, to ocean life, all the way to birds from different parts of the world.

Parco Galvani is a beautifully landscaped park that offers a delightful escape for visitors of all ages. Nestled within the grounds is an art museum housed in a historical villa, which has been thoughtfully restored and expanded to include the PArCo, showcasing Armando Pizzinato's Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery. Families will appreciate the well-equipped playground designed for children aged 1 to 14, while adults can enjoy dedicated fitness areas.
Very nice setup. Large open area in middle for events and picnics. Decent playground and some food/drink vendors most weekends.

A nice little park, equipped for kids from 1 years old to 14 years old. An area equipped for fitness (adults only) is also available and playful. Clean and beautiful the park offer, at springtime, a fantastic journey between different kind of roses, an outstanding experience with historical plants (beautiful both for colours and the scents). We had a fantastic walk there with squirrels running on the trees all around us.

A small park in the middle of Pordenone where people can unwind, jog, stroll, walk, sit, talk, and immerse in nature.
Nikhil R — Google review
Really nice place and fantastic little garden. There is also a wide water pond near the central Galvani Villa, yet water might get swampy. Risk of rascals and small criminality (unfortunately mostly from the far east), yet police patrols the area quite well.

It's good for kids but at the moment some foreigners as I'm a foreigner I feel ashamed to saying that they deals drug there police have to do some thing

Hamburger restaurant
The desserts were the only thing I could capture in photos; however, the burgers at Piazzettasanmarco13 were absolutely incredible! It is evident that the food was crafted with great attention to detail. I also tried their salad, which was fantastic. The only downside was the desserts I ordered; the mango puree in the semifreddo was excessively sweet and acidic, while the tiramisu lacked its expected flavor.
Excellent food. Fish and chips was tasty and light. Ceasar salad very good. Deserts ok. Waitresses are very very kind and friendly . Two glass of excellent Gewürztraminer Joseph Hofstätter vine. Recommended. We'll be back:)

I was only able to take photos of the desserts but the burgers....oh man, they were AMAZING! You can tell the food was prepared with so much attention to detail. We also ordered salad which was also the bomb. The only caveat were the desserts we ordered (pictured here). The mango puree in the semifreddo was too sweet and acidic, and the tiramisu lacked the flavor I expect in this dessert. Nevertheless, I'd come back for the burgers--those were the true stars of our experience.

Solid hamburger for Pordenone. Would recommend. Service was good as well.
Christian T — Google review
Good food, cooked in good ways.
George M — Google review
We found the place on our walk and it was very good idea to have a dinner here. We ordered pasta with trio of sauces. Meat sauces were juicy and taste was remarkable. Tomato sauce was very fresh. 100% delicious. But when the home made tiramisu came, I realized that actually this was my first real real tiramisu in my life. Before it was just some tries 😁 I could come back to Pordenone also if this restaurant was the only reason 👌🏽

The food and the service are ok but the place is too expensive considering what you can eat there. The average price of an hamburger is 13 euros ... Far too high for the area

Osteria La Ferrata in Pordenone is a restaurant worth visiting for its renowned local Friulian cuisine. The food options are outstanding, with delectable dishes such as frico, risotto, artichoke flan, polenta with pitina, steak, and codfish. The wine selection is impressive and the service is good. It's advisable to make a reservation as the restaurant tends to get fully booked even on weekdays like Monday.
Quaint little restaurant down a small alley off the main street leading to the Cathedral. The staff were courteous and attentive, and the food was amazing! The lasagna was made to order and delicious! The deer stew with polenta was my favorite meal.

The pasta & steak was to die for. Wine, amazing. The owner helped serve and she was also a delight. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Great experience here this summer. It was such a nicely put together meal and the service was great. Thank you.

From an American tourist perspective this place is phenomenal! You get traditional Fruili food here. Service is great and the food is outstanding! The vibe is so rustic and awesome. Everytime I visit here I MUST come here at least once.
Stephan L — Google review
Staff was very kind and very helpful with quick service The gnocchi well-made tender but not overly mushy and the ragù was well made with a consistent taste and texture. The prosciutto San Daniele was as it should be flawless it was sliced perfectly. Along with the small basket of bread drizzled with olive oil it was a very well done meal.

Nice place for a great local dinner. Polenta with pitina is a great starter. The steak and the codfish was really delicious. The only negative part was the bread, may they noticed we are foreigners and didn't bring a fresh bread but is ok.
Marcos B — Google review
Outstanding local (Friulian) food choices. Nice wine list and good service, be sure to call for a reservation. The restaurant was completely full on a Monday night. I had an artichoke flan for an appetizer and a Frico and polenta for my main.

Nestled in the heart of the city, Alla Catina is a delightful culinary gem that has captured the hearts of many visitors. Renowned for its mouthwatering grilled seafood and homemade wine, this restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for any occasion. Guests rave about their favorite dish—the mixed grilled seafood—which consistently impresses with its fantastic flavors. The friendly and attentive staff enhance the dining experience, ensuring that every visit feels special.
Very good food. Great staff and service. The meat and wine is expensive, but everything else is fair price. Best meal we have had in Italy. Good date spot and a cool atmosphere inside the restaurant.

We had a wonderful experience here! They offer gluten free pasta, bread and pizza. Everything tasted phenomenal. Service was truly outstanding - servers were so kind.
Kaeli W — Google review
I was not impressed by pizza with a burnt edge, poke ball with more than 50% lettuce and rooms with tables with too many chairs. I expected more, judging by the other comments. Second, juices cost more than 4 EUR. And yes. I haven't seen a squat toilet in a long time. It can be seen in this restaurant. Let's understand each other. The food is well prepared. Only these "little things" bother.

Sat down for dinner in the glass enclosure, which was a nice way to watch the city dwellers.. We were there when they opened the restaurant and even though we didn't have reservations, we were able to get a seat for four. They spoke English and had English menus. The pasta and pizza we had were very good. My only complaint was the high cost for pizza.
Vic M — Google review
Food is medium quality. But service... MINUS 20!!! Till i wait my food , servant deserve 4 local people!!! When i please book of complaints and suggestions, come ALLL PERSONAL!!!! And try to make me forget what i need!!! 70€ for 2 people... Little expensive... I pay 70€ for hotel for night... In rest Your decided!!! Forget about this place!!! Yep is in centrum but don't deserve your money!!! Be careful!!!

Seafood very poor quality. Skip it for your own good. Chose pizza if you must. Better yet avoid this place. Icecreams next to this place are very nice.

Unusually pleasant resteraunt: prices are middle or slightly lower. But interior is a very tastefully done set if marble parquete floors and small rooms and Halls. Gives a quiet and intimate atmosphere since you are never sitting with a mass of people. Very pleasant evening!

Northern Italian restaurant
Osteria Al Cavaliere Perso is a welcoming eatery where amiable individuals whip up delectable cuisine. Their pasta dishes and meat cuts are excellent, and they provide a pleasant outdoor seating area. It comes highly recommended for those visiting the town, showcasing delightful pictures of their offerings. The food is truly fantastic, complemented by an impressive assortment of wines. Although limited English availability adds to its authenticity, it may pose a challenge for some guests.
Amazing food and presentation, a true gem on the heart of Pordenone. The salmon tartar and the prawns in savour an ancient Venetian style dressing with onion absolutely delicious. Also the bianco sesto wine from La Tunella unforgettable…. Can’t wait to get back!!
Steven F — Google review
Food is ok but nothing special. Got their gnocchi and while the dumplings were good the sauce had a weird acid after taste with the bacon to the point sauce tasted spoiled. Got their tartare with the egg topping and was good and well balanced that save the whole meal. My guests weren’t excited as well about the food but the experience was not bad. Service was attentive and fast despite bringing the same course at different timing leaving the guests to wait before start to eat. Worth the stop.

Friendly people who make very nice food. We had some great pasta's and a nice cut of meat. They have a nice terras outside. So yes, if your in town I would recommend this restaurant! See pics :-)

So nice place, good atmosphere, service is good but can be a little bit faster. Food is so delicious and amazing. Nice selection of wines and "grappa".

Very well made dishes with care. Good wine selection. Staff is good.

The service is unfriendly. The waitresses chat with Italian guests, completely ignoring foreigners. I do not recommend this place. You have to ask for everything. Half an hour waiting for the menu.

Pizza restaurant
Peperino is a pizza eatery that offers a delightful crust, with an ideal balance of texture and flavor. They provide various options for crust ingredients, such as grains, whole wheat, and gluten-free alternatives. Additionally, they cater to dietary restrictions by offering lactose-free meals and a range of sauces to complement the toppings. While the marinara/tomato sauce is basic and tangy, enhancing it with additional seasoning greatly improves its taste.
Best pizza crust I have ever had in my life! Seriously, I could sit and eat the crust all day! This pizza was amazing, and the sautéed basil (under the smoked ham) took it to a new dimension! If you have a craving for pizza don’t miss Perperino! I was by myself and spent €23 (€14-pizza, €9-beer) and it could have easily served 2x people!

Love this place. Amazing dough and delicious pizza in a fun atmosphere near the city center. Got carbonara specialty pizza last time (not a traditional pizza but amazing).

Went there with my wife. We are visitors from Austria with no skills in the Italian language. They spoke English to us and were friendly. The food was excellent.
Jack G — Google review
Nice place near Moderno Palace Hotel. I didn't like the appetizer "Mozzarella Carrozza": the cheese was too thicker breaded. The pizza "Funghi Porcini e Tartufo" was amazing: san daniele ham, funghi and truffe cream, mozzarella and olive oil. Great staff.
Marcos B — Google review
Really good service for outsiders. They spoke english to me and provided me with an English menu. The pasta i ordered was so tasty.
Shrubbery — Google review
Crowded-cosy place but well organised. We ate two pizzas good enough to be considered as real Italian taste. Price good as the clarity and the number of seasonings offered.

Nice place to eat for a late lunch since it closes at 3 PM, the pizza was good and used high-grade ingredients. The staff was welcoming and was able to recommend a lot of tasty dishes.
