andong is a quiet town. somehow we manage to locate a local restaurant here serving stew andong chicken and deep fried garlic chicken. andong is famous for its chicken. we were throughly delighted with the tender and juicy served here. the soju here is also well known. we tried the 21% and 40% alcohol. my asvise is stick with the 21% andong soju

So many jjimdak restaurant here! Shinshegae was probably the most popular here but I think they have same taste. They also accept onnuri voucher/gift coupon.

If u visit andong, cant miss to taste andong jjimdag..and here u can find plenty of good jjimdag restaurants. Jjimdag price starts from 20000-40000 won for 2-4 persons. It is served in big plate as u can see from photos..^^

It was like Seoul Namdaemum market, full of nice shops, food vendors and restaurants! I wished I had been there earlier.

Definitely worth the detour, especially at night. The lanterns along the bridge all light up and it is so magical. There is a walking path across from the bridge that is lovely and also bug spray stations. There are also toilets and a few restaurants and a convenience shop.
