Lausanne

Lausanne is a city on Lake Geneva, in the French-speaking region of Vaud, Switzerland. It’s home to the International Olympic Committee headquarters, as well as the Olympic Museum and lakeshore Olympic Park. Away from the lake, the hilly old city has medieval, shop-lined streets and a 12th-century Gothic cathedral with an ornate facade. The 19th-century Palais de Rumine houses fine art and science museums.

Specialty Museums
The Olympic Museum in Lausanne is not your typical art museum, but it offers a unique blend of sports history, technology, and art. Situated in the city that houses the International Olympic Committee, this museum showcases sculptures and interactive multimedia displays dedicated to the Olympic Games. It's a must-visit for art and culture enthusiasts. The recently refurbished museum provides an interactive and educational experience, featuring artifacts, history, Olympic torches, posters, equipment, and clothing.
We had a fantastic experience here. I never thought that this would actually be a good museum that I would enjoy seeing because I assumed it was all about the games, but watching the history and seeing the interactivity of all of the different exhibits, this was really really good well worth the money and the Front Desk guy was really nice and I had some sort of ticket to something else so I was able to get a minimal discount and this was a really nice way to spend an afternoon. I did not need to buy tickets in advance and even the lobby is gorgeous so unless you’re waiting a long time, it was fine looking around there

We were here in early July and it was a nice walk along the lake to this museum perched on a small hill in the middle of a lovely park. Please visit the grounds even if you do not step inside the museum. Nice views over the lake and pleasant outdoor Olympic related art and information sprinkled through the outdoor grounds and all of this is free to access. Inside it is a well curated place with lots of information for an Olympics fan. We did it all in about 2 hours. The gift shop is where you buy the entrance tickets. Pro tip: if you do have a ticket and are there during the daytime, you do NOT need a lunch reservation to simply have a drink on their glorious outdoor terrace at the restaurant on the top floor. We just asked the host if we could sit outside for a drink and he enthusiastically said of course! What views!!! Drinks were not cheap but not more expensive than any other restaurant. So if you are curious and didn’t make a lunch reservation, please do stop by and see if you can snag a seat outside. The staff were kind and helpful.

It is obviously a must visit museum if you are in the Olympic capital Lausanne. Everything is very well presented. I particularly love the video clips introducing every Olympic Games through the years, as every clip begins with important events of that year. I’d very much love to finish them all but my schedule doesn’t allow me to. All the collections are inspiring and hold collective memories of people from all over the world, some of which remind me of the days when I was little and watched on TV the Olympic Games with my father. The -1 floor is fun. View of the lake from the terrace of the restaurant is stunning. Free access for Swiss pass holders.
Yulan Z — Google review
Very nice. We were desperately looking for a clean bathroom that’s also free lol. It’s nice to see the poster of the Beijing Olympic in 2008. Unfortunately we only found the poster card but not many other souvenirs options such as fridge magnet for the Beijing Olympic.
Shijia W — Google review
Free admission with the Lausanne city pass. Cool exhibition showcasing the history of the Olympics from ancient times, all the way through to 2026. Highlights include a section about art and design of the posters and iconography of the Olympics, as well as a well rounded gift shop with good items at all price ranges

Olympics museum is a must visit place for all Olympic fans. The location is stunning on the shores of lake Geneva in Lausanne. Infrastructure of museum is excellent with free locker rooms for storage. You study entire history of Olympics from its origin in Greece to revival of modern Olympics. There are archives of summer and winter Olympic games, mascots and models of all Olympic torches, Olympic uniforms etc. The museum used excellent multimedia to present everything. There are videos on projector screen which display opening ceremonies of all Olympic seasons. However, Olympics museum has lots of scope for expansion considering its huge space. You can have interactive games like FIFA museum in Zurich. A Hall of Fame can also be made featuring most celebrated Olympians of all times like Michael Phelps. A special section for upcoming Olympics can also be done. Hope to see these updates with passing time. Entry to Olympics museum is free with Swiss Travel Pass.

This museum is located facing Lausanne (Geneva)Lake with a nice park in front and is very well connected through road and metro rail network. It is a fantastic audio visual experience indoor as well out door and must see for tourists. Plan to spend at least 2 hours here and you will cherish it.
Col I — Google review
We spent there more than 2 hours. Interactive, with plenty of interesting information, surrounded by a nice park, with a great view and even access to a beach. If you are in Lausanne, must visit. Tickets are 20 CHF per person, no needed to buy in advance.

Cathedral
Sights & Landmarks
Lausanne Cathedral, consecrated in 1275, is a stunning Gothic masterpiece that has been an important landmark in Switzerland since medieval times. The exterior of the cathedral is impressive with its ornate painted portal, belfry, and vibrant rose window. Inside, visitors can admire the grand organs, 13th-century choir stalls, and ancient stained glass windows. It also serves as a stop for pilgrims following the Camino de Santiago within Switzerland.
I highly recommend talking a walk up through the old town to the cathedral. It's free, and a beautiful building with lots to see. You'll also get some great views of Lausanne from the front. If you want even better views you can pay a small fee and climb the bell-tower. This gives you 360 degree views of the city. Absolutely epic on a clear day. It's not for the faint-hearted or those with vertigo. Also not for those with major mobility problems. I use a walking stick due to bone spurs in my ankle and I made it OK. Just had to take it a bit slower.
Rachel B — Google review
Impressive cathedral with wonderful views of the town. A bit of a climb up steps if one takes the wrong route, but in any case well worth a visit. Large, quiet, peaceful, stained glass, statues, carvings, small and unobtrusive gift shop. Not overly commercial, and free to enter, as it should be but in some churches is not. Panoramic views of the town below.
Timothy P — Google review
One of the most impressive landmarks in Lausanne. The Gothic architecture is stunning, especially the stained glass windows that create a magical atmosphere when the sunlight shines through. Located on a hill, the cathedral also offers beautiful views of the city. Climbing the tower stairs can be a bit tiring, but the panoramic view at the top is absolutely worth it. A perfect mix of history, architecture, and scenery
Koray B — Google review
Lausanne Cathedral is a stunning masterpiece of Gothic architecture with breathtaking views over the city and Lake Geneva. The interior’s stained glass and grand organ are awe-inspiring. Climb the tower for panoramic sights—it’s worth every step. A must-visit landmark rich in history and beauty.
Ryan B — Google review
A must-visit gem in Lausanne! This Gothic cathedral, dating back to the 12th century, offers stunning architecture and panoramic views of the city, Lake Geneva, and the Alps. Climbing the belfry is worth the minimal fee for the breathtaking scenery. Inside, the grand organ is a marvel, and the nightly tradition of the watchman announcing the hour adds a unique touch. Don't miss exploring the charming old town surrounding the cathedral. Highly recommended for history and architecture enthusiasts!
Shema B — Google review
The beautiful Gothic cathedral of Lausanne is a must visit place when in this lovely Swiss city. The stained glass is magnificent, as is the architecture and the cathedral’s commanding location above the ancient city centre. Not to be missed….
Jon N — Google review
Lausanne Cathedral is a stunning Gothic masterpiece. Its intricate facade and soaring interior inspire awe, while the serene ambiance invites reflection. The view from the tower is breathtaking. A must-see for its architectural beauty and historical significance.
Yousef J — Google review
It's worth going out of your way to visit this masterpiece of Gothic architecture. If you have a chance, see a concert, especially one featuring the world famous organ. It's one of the organs of all time

Museums
The Collection de l'Art Brut is a museum in Lausanne that showcases avant-garde artworks created by self-taught, outsider artists. Founded by French artist Jean Dubuffet, the museum's permanent and temporary exhibits feature over 1,000 works by individuals with no formal artistic training. The collection includes diverse pieces such as naive paintings, sculptures, masks, and various media creations.
This is most probably one of the world's most interesting museums devoted to "outsider art", produced by self-taught creators, often marginalized, many living in institutions or being inmates. Their histories told beside their art works is often touching, sometimes violent. The French artist Jean Dubuffet was the initiator of this museum being a collector of this art form himself and then donating his collection to Lausanne. Just now, early 2024, the museum features a special exhibition called Visages, "faces", from which I have chosen to present some photographs for the reader to enjoy. The museum is discretely implanted facing the Lausanne congress center, somewhat off the center of town, and is surprisingly roomy. The works are beautifully curated. I find it a must to spend a couple of hours here for anyone interested in arts living in or visiting the Lausanne area.
Sebastian R — Google review
Must see for art lovers! I didn't take a lot of pics, merely enjoyed and bought a book (supports!). In the USA, I guess we call this folk art? The collection is VERY diverse. The Art Brut is now one of my favorite museums in the world.
Rick M — Google review
Great artists could come from anywhere. This is a museum that offers a very different experience. The majority of museums focus on preserving the conventional mainstream arts or a piece of noteworthy history. This one and its collections make you realize that mental or physical illness a lot of people endure or ordinary lives we live do not diminish what’s pure in (probably all of) us.
Hsiao-ching C — Google review
Very well curated museum showcasing work from artists society doesn't deem important. Free admission with the Lausanne city pass. Art is thought provoking and facilities are well managed.
L Z — Google review
Moving and touching. You could feel the emotional and mental state of the artists through their work. I absolutely suggest it if anyone finds themselves in Lausanne. It also had a 3 day pass with 2 more museums. Excellent experience.
Alex A — Google review
Really interesting visit if not a little disturbing at times 🤔
Sue S — Google review
Focuses on artists without formal artistic training, many of them from the margins of society. The resulting art is fresh and captivating. This is one of the most exciting museums that I have visited.

Historic Walking Areas
Nestled in the heart of Lausanne, Place de la Palud is a charming cobbled square that beautifully captures the essence of European al fresco life. This vibrant locale is home to a stunning 16th-century fountain adorned with a statue of justice, which adds historical flair to your visit. Every hour from 9 am to 7 pm, be sure to catch the delightful cuckoo clock performance that narrates tales from the Vaud region's rich history.
Great square, used to be my favorite place to go and take a walk, drink some coffee and enjoy the city vibe. If you’re a tourist, definitely the place to come visit at least once on your visit. Also fountain in the center of the square too. Great place and would love to come and enjoy my time here again, 100% recommend.
Google G — Google review
I caught métro line 2 from the main station. 2 stops and then as I walked to the Cathedral I found this place by coincidence as it was not part of my places to visit. It was a crowded place because a lot of people were selling vegetables, cheese and many other things. (Guess Saturdays are "market days"). Very picturesque.
Alejandro M — Google review
A beautiful historic square in the heart of Lausanne! Loved the Palud Clock. It’s a bit hilly to get to, so wear comfortable shoes, but the views and experience are totally worth it.
Shema B — Google review
A charming square in the heart of Lausanne. Surrounded by historic buildings, with the Town Hall and its beautiful clock as the highlight. A lively spot where you can feel the city’s old charm, enjoy cafés, and watch the animated clock show at the hour. Definitely worth a visit when exploring the old town.
Koray B — Google review
In the heart in the Lausanne. Surrounded by old historic buildings and picturesque little streets, the square is the place to feel the tourist pulse of the city. Every round hour, little dancing dolls come out of the clock tower and create an additional experience with their performance. A good place for a glass of wine or beer in the middle of the day you choose to tour Lausanne.
Nadin V — Google review
Nothing particularly special about this old town square. Some areas are a little steep to walk. Would avoid heels given the cobblestone. Located between metro stops Lausanne-Flor and Riponne M Béjart

Sights & Landmarks
Perched atop a hill in Sauvabelin Park, the Sauvabelin Tower offers visitors an unforgettable experience with its 302-step spiral staircase leading to a viewing platform. This impressive 35-meter wooden tower provides panoramic vistas of Lausanne and its surroundings, including Lake Geneva, the Swiss Alps, and the Jura region. Originally built in 2003 to replace the original tower from 1904, it stands as a symbol of the turn of the millennium.
Beautifully designed and built structure. Great views of Lausanne and surrounding areas. Worth the hike up.
David — Google review
The wooden spiral staircase is impressive, and climbing to the top is absolutely worth it. Best part? It’s completely free! From the top, you get a breathtaking 360° view of Lausanne, Lake Geneva, and the Alps on a clear day. Surrounded by forest, the walk to the tower is peaceful and refreshing. A perfect spot for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone looking to enjoy the city from above. Don’t miss it!
Shema B — Google review
Beautifully constructed double helix tower blends perfectly with nature. On top you get a stunning view of the surrounding forest, Lausanne, the lake and the beautiful mountains in the distance. Must visit if you are in Lausanne!
Maisy L — Google review
A nice landmark to visit when in Lausanne. Entrance is free, and the views are amazing! We did a little hike going there but the trail path is clear enough you won’t get lost even as a tourist. How to get there is easy. We did the less walking route since it was a hot summer day when we visited. We got off on Riponne metro station and took a bus to Lac Sauvabelin and from there it’s about 5-10 mins of walking. If you don’t mind walking more, you can get off at Sallaz metro station and walk from there. It’s about 15-20mins of walking and be prepared for uphill streets/paths since it’s the norm in Lausanne. The tower was amazing to see and the steps are said to be over 150 steps one-way, so be prepared for that as well. There’s also a mini steep hill going up to the base of the tower, before the main steps. Forgot to take photos from the observation deck because I got a little scared of the height after I saw how high I went (haha!) and only remembered to take photos when I was on the last platform on my way down. :)) Stairs go in a spiral way, too, so be careful if you get dizzy easily. Since it’s a winding staircase, it’s expected to have parts of the steps to be narrower on one side vs the other. A wooden hand rail is also available on the outer side of the steps. Felt a little more scared going down due to me being a little scared of heights, but it’s a view worth seeing!
Jia V — Google review
The area was nice, but I didn't like the idea of electrified fences everywhere The tower is worth visiting with nice views.
Ehab H — Google review
Very pretty. Easy accessible by foot or bike. It’s definitely worth a visit in Lausanne city.
C C — Google review
Beautifully designed and sturdy structure with fantastic views from the top. I counted 151 steps to the top. There are a couple of benches on the top to rest.
H — Google review
I have lived in the Lausanne region for the past 30 years but this was the first time I climbed this tower, built entirely out of wood and financed by donors who can enjoy to have their names advertised on each step. There was a violent and ice cold "bise noir" blowing from NW this Sunday mid September of 2024 so I was almost alone on the viewing platform. Access and exit are via a metal gate being activated by pressing a button, something not really evident to many of the visitors. In the warm season access is possible all day till 6 p.m. There is a fantastic view over Lausanne, its suburbs and the surrounding countryside, better than photos taken in the middle of the day with its flat light.

Located in the Esplanade de Montbenon Park, Brasserie de Montbenon is a refined restaurant offering upmarket cuisine in a modernized bistro setting. The former ballroom has been transformed into a popular dining spot with airy and light-filled surroundings. In summer, the terrace provides stunning views of Lake Geneva and the distant mountains, while the grand interior offers a spectacular shelter during winter. The seasonal menu features local flavors such as fresh lake fish and cheesy Cordon Bleu.
One of my favourite go-to restaurants in Lausanne. Good service, ambiance and food! Cozy interior for winter and a beautiful terrace for summer! Tip: they make great salads!

We ordered drinks after watching a movie nearby. The atmosphere on Friday evening was great and it wasn’t too loud. Many people were having dinner too. The staff were kind and the decoration was very warm and welcoming. Definitely worth stopping by even if it is just for drinks.
Paula — Google review
One of the best dining experiences in Lausanne. The setting is unbeatable, with sweeping views over the gardens, Lake Léman, and the mountains. It feels both elegant and relaxed at the same time. We ordered a mix of seasonal dishes and everything was spot on. The Vol-au-Vent with wild mushrooms was rich and comforting, the local fish dishes (filet de féra and truite) were delicate and perfectly cooked, the seasonal salads with chanterelles, burrata, and fresh tomatoes tasted like summer on a plate, the shawarma was full of flavor, and the steak with béarnaise sauce was perfectly done with vegetables and the most delicious roasted potatoes. The balance between freshness, local ingredients, and indulgence is exactly what you want from a brasserie of this level. Service was excellent, attentive, warm, and perfectly timed without ever feeling rushed. Whether you come for a long lunch on the terrace or a dinner with friends, this place captures the best of Lausanne with beautiful views, local produce, and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended. Big thanks to Casandra & Mathew

We had a fantastic dinner. Our waitress was incredibly patient and welcoming to us speaking English. We made a reservation and were able to sit outside on the terrace. The home brewed iced tea was refreshing. For dinner we had the vol au vent and a beef special, which were incredibly delicious. The views were stunning and we had a view of locals playing bocce ball in the park, the mountains in the distance, and the lake!

Café de Grancy is a popular casual eatery with a terrace that offers a wide range of global cuisine, desserts, and an ample wine list. The team behind this classic hangout includes four partners who have extensive experience in the restaurant and entertainment industry. The café occupies the ground floor of a lavish 19th-century apartment building and features antique chaise longues and slouchy sofas up front, perfect for relaxing with a good book or enjoying hot chocolate.
Here for dinner supper. Thank you for the good service! Although the menu in French, we're super happy with this waitress that explains and introduce to us in English, wonderful! We got the seasoned salmon and vege tartare. And the creme brulee is superb! 1. Food is superb, they served them quite fast, but all are tasty! 2. Atmosphere is great inside, but outside is fully taken on a sunny day. Will probably come back again for the brunch and great services!

Walked past here by chance and reserved for an evening meal (that the reservation was wrote down for a wrong day - my french was to blame - was no problem). We had very good food and the service was perfect. Very lively - but a conversation is still possible.

The food is delicious and the staff provide excellent service. I recommend calling ahead to reserve a table. The atmosphere is really nice, and the location is very convenient, right next to the train station. It’s a great place to sit, chat, and relax with friends or a partner.

Super delicious food, great atmosphere and they have games 😍 We went here for brunch on our weekend trip to Lausanne because of a recommendation. Definitely worth it. The chocolate Balzac was the most delicious hot chocolate I've ever had. The pancakes with bacon and the cauliflower with garam masala were also amazing. They also have a lot of board games that you can just take. We played uno while waiting for the food which was not long at all, actually even though the place was packed. I think we'll come here again for brunch tomorrow 😊

Lovely outdoor seating with nice views of the lake. Expect a wait if you want to sit outside and don’t have a reservation. Interesting indoor details. Menu is in French so keep your phones translation app handy. Friendly but very busy staff with some English spoken. Flavorful dishes. Got the sausage with mustard, mashed potatoes and veggies and liked it. Large portions. Reasonably priced wine.

The Cafè is close to the Lausanne train station. We came to the Café to grab some food late in the day. Everything was great and delicately presented.
Laura C — Google review
I have had private and business lunches and dinners in this cosy brasserie for more than 10 years. I have been almost always satisfied, except perhaps for the noise that in some evenings made conversations difficult. However, over the past one to two years the quality of food gradually and persistently deteriorated. Yesterday the risotto was served almost cold, it detached in blocks from the dish, and the shrimps were chewy; the ice cream arrived to our table half melted in its cup. At least the price did not change much over the past two years ;-) I hope that they will get back to their high standards soon -- there are many other great and causal restaurants in the neighbourhood and I won't go back to this one for quite some time.

Brasserie
Café Romand is a classic brasserie in French-speaking Switzerland, known for serving homemade local dishes along with a selection of beer and wine. The restaurant boasts elegant woodwork and offers traditional Swiss cuisine, fine wines, and expertly brewed beers within its intimate oak-furnished space.
Stepping into this officially recognized historical restaurant in Lausanne is like stepping back in time. The dining room is absolutely charming, and the service was impeccable. The food was also good. For a classic brasserie meal, you can't go wrong and for vegetarians and vegans, their red lentil dish is a very tasty option!

The café offers traditional Swiss cuisine and has an old-world charm. The waiters were really nice and funny, although the service was extremely slow. I enjoyed the fondue and the meringue with Gruyère double cream; however, the Malakoff was just okay.
Maina K — Google review
To my surprise Cafe Romand was almost empty when visiting tonight. We had an excellent dinner - speedy, competent waiters, a tasty moitié-moitié fondue and excellent dried meat. Still after having been here many times over years a reliable, fairly priced place for the classics in an unbeatable location, and no-frills historic ambiance.

We has a very enjoyable experience. Service was nice and quick, and food was abundant. Price might be a bit too steep, but not extremely away from “Swiss standards”. If your French is so so, some of the waiters speak Spanish.

Only the shell is left of this formerly typical and friendly bistrot. Loud, mediocre food and unfriendly management. I recommend to have a look for the beauty of the place but there are many better places to eat in Lausanne and surroundings. A pity.

The most outstanding place in Lausanne to experience the best regional gastronomy - from the authentic "papet vaudois" to the fondues, roestis & Co, in a classic and traditional ambiance that never gets out of style. Remarkable and an overall experience worth the visit when in town.

A restaurant that has been around a very long time, and it shows. Excellent quality service, with impeccable food quality. I visited in the cold months when "Pot au feu" is available, and it is *incredible*....only 23CHF if you come at lunch time as well! For the price the meal is really fantastic.

Brasserie Loxton - Bar & Brunch is a stylish restaurant in Lausanne, designed by blogger and interior designer Sofia Clara. The space exudes an Instagram-worthy ambiance, blending design influences from trendy cities around the world. The menu offers a variety of international dishes such as ceviche, Bao burgers, curries, surf & turf, and scallops. Housed in an iconic building constructed in 1875, the venue respects local traditions while rejuvenating the space.
Really good vibes! Went for a Saturday morning breakfast at 10 and I was pleased with the atmosphere, food and service. I really enjoyed the Gruyere macaroni risotto with prosciutto. Filling and delicious.

Sat down with a friend for her to drink a glass of wine. It took 15 minutes for someone to come take our order. I just wanted water. We were told that to have water, you needed to consume something. I said then that my friend would have the water since she was having the wine. The boss came back after the waitress left to say that we either both consumed or we couldn't have anything. I am shocked to not have been able to get a glass of water and that they would refuse to serve my friend because I didn't want anything. Extremely disappointed, won't be coming back.

Good for a quick lunch with friends. The menu is quite short and don't go there if you are the picky type. We had a late breakfast served as lunch. Overall tasty, but could be improved in terms of bread and serving two eggs instead of one. Also, it was quite cold in the room. Besides the large interior, they also have a terrace facing the busy center of Lausanne.

I love this space for brunch or lunch. It is a lovely space, with a good vibe and the menu is small but delicious. The dishes are always well executed, often with a small twist to bring in a regional or seasonal flavor. Service is friendly and attentive, but they respect your space. No weird lingering or awkward interruptions.

Went there for dinner on a Friday night. Fair choice of menu with options for the meat lovers and not only. Service could improve though being Friday evening it was really not an issue. Suggestion: the wine, especially the red one we swank could have been with 2-3 lower than was served to us. Good food, good place, a friendly and witty atmosphere, quite a big of a choice on drinks (congrats on the Gin’s collection). A place to visit and have on the list for a re-visit. Will try their brunch one day and post my review here.

Pinte Besson is a historic bistro in Lausanne, offering regional and seasonal dishes within its preserved space adorned with wood and stained glass. In addition to this charming spot, the city boasts a variety of dining options ranging from traditional old Vaudois bistros like Cafe Romand and Cafe de l'Europe to modernized bistros such as cafes de Grancy and Bruxelles.
Tonight we discovered a quaint, neighborhood, locals restaurant in Lausanne that was established in 1780. Flowing with charm and personality, and full of people enjoying themselves. We had a wonderful farm to table salad, the best cheese fondue ever, and a side of hashbrowns that were to die for (the side of hashbrowns is not on the menu, but they will do it). The wines were surprisingly good. I had the Merlot Ticino and my wife had a glass, actually several glasses, of Prosecco. A real hidden gem!

We ordered the fondue and, in our opinion, it was terrible. First of all, for €55 for two people, we were served bread and a plate of cheese. And nothing else. No cold cuts, no potatoes, nothing. Just bread and cheese. Maybe that's normal for Switzerland, but we were expecting more. Secondly, the fondue was extremely bitter — we guess too much wine was used. We left half of it uneaten because we simply didn’t enjoy it. The place itself is nice, and the staff is friendly. But the fondue is a 1/10. I can't recommend it.

My husband and I were so excited to eat at Pinte Besson considering how historical this establishment is! We made reservations just to be safe. The service was wonderful! The fondue was delicious (we did the tasting for two that also came with dry meats and dessert and it was plenty of food). Would highly recommend a meal here during your stay in Lausanne!

One of the historical cafe of Lausanne with old fashioned but well maintained interior. It was interesting to climb to the second floor on the very narrow stairs :) We had the menu fondue tradition for 2, it's a complete set with dried meat platter and fondue moitié moitié with bread. The portion was not too big but it was enough when closed with the dessert included in the menu (meringues with double crème). It's a nice restaurant to eat typical Swiss food (they also have a nice papet Vaudois).

Best place to have authentic food, at decent prices. Ent with the fondue this time. Had the deer stew last time. Always my place each time I’m back in Lausanne.

The food was nice and plenty! And the lunch time deal was really cheap 😎

I had a fondue and a lovely board of cold cuts. I enjoyed everything but unfortunately it was too much for me so I couldn't eat the dessert which was included in the menu. The waitress was kind enough to take my glass of wine off the bill since I didn't get the dessert.

Nice place in the center of Lausanne. We went in spring and tried the the rosti, which was quite good. Wines are nice and typically cheap. We'll be back in winter to try the fondue!
