The most beautiful trainstation that I have ever seen!
It’s a relatively new station, high speed trains connect Reggio Emilia to both North and South but it’s based a little out of the city. Has some bars, free public bathrooms and parking place. Overall a nice station.
A STUNNING PIECE OF MODERN ARCHITECTURE. IT LOOKS LIKE A GIANT WAVELENGTH. A RAILWAY STATION THAT LOOKS MORE AKIN TO JAPAN THAN NORTHERN ITALY.
Service at the TrenItalia desk was very good. The train station is clean and bright and my experience on the FrescaRosa to Milan was outstanding.
A modern and eye catching high speed train station with two platforms and two middle tracks for nonstop trains. Below the platforms, you’ll find a cafeteria, the Italo and Freccia Rossa waiting areas where you can buy train tickets or just await the arrival of your train, especially since there aren’t many seats on the platform itself. The station overall feels safe due to the presence of police officers with an office present close to the cafeteria. The place is kept very clean. You’ll find both a bus terminal and a regional train station, not the forget taxi services awaiting for you downstairs.
Feel like not in Italy.
If you're coming to take photos, beware that the car park is under construction so this will obstruct some exterior photos. I still got 70% of the photos I wanted
Lots of parking, reasonably easy access, ok services (pretty depressing selection of sandwiches at the bar), free toilets, easy to access platforms.

Great Bookstore!! Remember to go up stairs, in the second floor you have a lot to see! There is a kids area, we have taken lot of books, and today we have taken table games and one if to learn and enrich ower Italian is do cool, now we are playing with my family
Wonderful place that makes you stay the whole day there with the books!
Very nice library. Balcony on the second floor. They had the newest books of Dan brown here, in English ^_^
It is a nice bookshop in three-storey building. There is Natural light through window to encourage reading. There are comfortable couches and armchairs and readers can sit and read quietly. There is a grand piano. There are a large variety of books, cookery , architect , interior design , fictions , etc . There are books for children and toddlers ,snow white and Cinderella famous typical stories with new illustrations . The characters are drawn in a new style . Although there is a collection of multilangual books for children, I hope the bookshop will input some more multi/bilingual books with different language, for example , Japanese ,Chinese , Korean.
Contemporary book shop in Reggio nell’Emilia with very friendly staff and comfortable sofas. It stocks a small selection of titles in English and Spanish
Best bookshop in town. I can spend entire days in this place.
Bellissima libreria! Andate al secondo piano! Beautiful bookshop! Do not stop at the ground floor, take a look at the second one too!
Very beautiful bookshop..wide range of books choice. Now Coop bookshop. A place to relax

I went to a Reggiana game against catanzaro in 2023 and the home supporters are always cheering nonstop, they have been supporting Regina for 40+ years. At half time the Regina supporters (like me) can go inside and get so much food and drinks like coke, sprite and prosciutto and gnocco fritto, and the fact the stadium is attached to a mall is mind blowing. Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars
I visited the stadium on the day of the match between Sassuolo and Cesena on 24. 8. 2023. The stadium is used for home matches by two Serie B teams. The connection between the stadium and the shopping centre is very interesting. The disadvantage I perceive in the great distance from the train station for pedestrians. The entrances were far apart. The stadium was spacious and relatively clean. The stadium stands were less than half full. Beautiful view from the opposite stand. I attach a photo of the view and women's toilet.
Modern stadiums, no question about the infrastructure, nevertheless the home fans aren’t so excited. Chose the game with big away team: Inter, Juventus, Milan, Lazio or Roma. Interesting moment: fish swim in the safety moat, you can try to catch some if you wish. Plus: there is mall at the stadium, you can go 3-4 hours before the game. Minus: there are only fields around the stadium, literally.
Watched Everton versus Atalanta here. No roof, but nice Italian weather meant this was fine. We were in the north stand. No communication to away fans that you needed photo id to enter the stadium. Heavy police and army presence. Toilets were rubbish and dirty, squat toilets and urinals only. Walkways are expansive and wide, but organisation was lacking for the game. Good view from the stands. It's okay but could be significantly better.
Sassuolo winning the league… What could be better?
Lazio vs Sassuolo; 21 October 2023. Great stadium. Somewhat easy to navigate.
Bit difficult to find ticket office behind Tribune Sud but lovely stadium
A suitable playground near the Station.

This church is underrated. It’s so beautiful with its paintings and special lighting system. I appreciate very much to be there. The opening hours is a bit special. During the afternoon it opens at 16:30. In the morning it closes something cloth to noon.
Beautiful ceilings. Whole basilica is beautiful.
Big church into the historical center of the city. Nice to see the first time maybe, but after that nothing especially interesting. But in some particular occasion it also hosts concerts.
It was very obvious, and so glorious, thanks to our Bishop's, especially His most highpriest Massimo, for always welcoming the general migrates. ,,,Ciao a tutti buonaserata
Beautiful!! Free entry, very pretty.
I liked it because it opens very early...first Mass 07:30 with an opportunity for confessions.
Breathtaking interior.
A quite and calm place for prayers. It's architecture jewelry.

Such a beautiful venue, great position in an amazing square in downtown of the city!
The opera and the theater were beautiful. We had front row seats on box 3, 3rd level. I like to be close to the stage and the view from there was not bad. However, the seats are terribly uncomfortable. You have to do acrobatics to see from the front 3 seats in the box . Only the middle chair moves but you have to lean forward and sideways to see half of the stage. The chair closest to the stage faces back, with the back and side touching the wall and rail. You have to twist your torso to see anything. The third chair faces forward but it is also fixed so you seat sideways and the person in the middle gets in your way. The second row is fully obstructed view. Perhaps it was the way it was designed back then, but it could be modernized even using the same chairs. Hard to enjoy when you are so uncomfortable. I recommend seats in the orchestra, all the boxes seemed to have sideways seats.
Saw the concert for Elio e le Storie Tese. Intimate venue, and you can see well from the back. Be aware that if you require handicap accommodations, some floors do not have lift/elevator access, so make sure to contact the venue when you search for tickets.
One of the greatest theaters in Italy and a city's landmark, located in an iconic piazza in Reggio Emilia. It has a long and lustrous history, which I do not dare to summarise. It is one of my must-go places, when I am in a mood for extraordinary stage experiences. It is the theater where I most enjoy the thrill of artistic performance.
Had a date night with someone there, It was wonderful and I totally recommend.
One of most beautiful theatres in Italy. Season 2017/2018 will be amazing. Stay tuned
A lovely mid size town Reggio Emilia a spacious friendly place with lots of historic beautifull buildings, nice shops and restaurants .

Very beautiful place
Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta is located at Piazza Camillo Pampolini in the heart of Reggio Emilia and is one city’s treasured sites. It’s a must visit if you are in the vicinty. It’s not as prominent as some other buildings, but still a beautiful example of Romanesque style with various modifications through the centuries and beautiful frescoes.
A VERY NICE CATHEDRAL, GREAT FEATURES AND WORTH THE VISIT.
Be careful if you come here: they will tax also the air you breathe. Bad service, pool full of mosquito, no respect for the guest by the manager. Change hotel, trust me.
History well preserved. Holy spot.

The foundation is very well designed, great interior and the flow of the exhibition is good. It doesn't get boring. I attended the exhibition about the Art Brut, quite a nice collection, and very interesting pieces. unfortunately there were few pieces of Ligabue, but the quality of the other artist compensate it. Nice bookstore and polite staff.
We visited Palazzo Magnani for Fotografia Europea 2025 and it was absolutely beautiful. The historic and elegant setting enhances the experience and showcases the photography perfectly. The exhibitions were superb: diverse, inspiring, and thoughtfully curated. A wonderful edition in a truly special place, not to be missed!
An historical landmark building located halfway along alluring Corso Garibaldi. A must visit in Reggio Emilia hosting regularly visual art exhibits of great relevance.

I was in Reggio Emilia in spring 2022 and while I love many aspects of this beautiful city in the Po valley (its cozy city center, its many squares with restaurant tables outside, its porticos, the famous roman street "via Emilia" disalligned in the city center), I particularly remember this church.. because of its lions made out of red marble, directly from Verona, my hometown <3
Beautiful basilica located on a small square just off the main square in the city. It has a unique face and the fat tower next to it make for an imposing picture.
BEAUTIFUL OLD BASILICA OF REGGIO-EMILIA. THERE ARE MANY WONDERFUL FEATURES TO THIS PLACE INCLUDING THE TOWER.
Very beautiful frescos and marble features.
Outstanding frescoes by Procaccini in the apse.
Like most of Reggio Emilio, not open when it is supposed to be. My frustrating place to be a tourist.

Amazing Experience My family loved it
Excellent water park! Not that busy (august ‘22) at all. The only downside is that everything is in Italian, and all the the staff only speaks Italian. That said, the friendliest staff I’ve seen in ages, so although there’s a language barrier, we were still able to get whatever we want. Prices for entrance was €24(2 adults 1 kid), sun beds and umbrella was €14. Bring a padlock or buy one here to use the lockers. The food is okay, not that special, but not bad. Prices are reasonable. You can bring your own food and drinks, just not glass bottles. Waiting times are ok (Italian), for the slides is was not that long. State of the park is good! Worth to spend a day!
A good picnic point to beat the heat. They have vast green gardens for sun beds with umbrellas. So many shady trees. There is a kids area with swings, beach volleyball, football ground and basket ball place. Changing rooms and wash rooms are many but no so clean. Bar has a variety of food and drinks. But the prices are high but taste doesn’t value for money.
Ok for relaxing. The price is ok. Local people seem to be aggressive with visitors as we had 2 old Italian ladies yelling at us to get the umbrella we were given 10min ago for 9.5 euro. Weird people. We asked to move away from this slot.
The place is actually quite nice and good for kids, but the staff members are rude as always. I always come to the town to spend time with my relatives and is good to have this water park as it is very hot in here when it's summer. But as I have mentioned personnel are the worse.
Nice big territory. Even on Saturday lunch time we got an umbrella (but not next to the pool). Pools are big, enough space, so not overcrowded. They're pitches for volley, foot, basket. Food in bar is bad, but that's typical for all Italian pools I've been to.
Great water park, no queues, Staff speaks English. The best option for a hot day.

Just the best museum. It's free, it's weird, it's amazing, it's huge, it's unlike anywhere else! There are collections of everything you could possibly imagine here and it's all fascinating. Some of it not for the faint hearted. Visited twice when staying in Reggio 10 years ago and again this week and it's even better than I remember.
Free entry, huge museum with a lot of content. Some of exhibits at animal part were hilarious. We had a lot of fun. There's very limited information in English inside of musem. Still recommend
I do recommend to visit the Musei Civici. The museums went through a recent renovation and now present the collection in a great setting. (And it is free!)
It is so cool, a lot of different sections. Must go into every corner to see all the sections.
Amazing place. Highly recommend it.

Unique experience: history of the building combined with private art collection. The staff is extremely confident, friendly and flexible. Our admiration to the all people who made this project possible and accessible. Grazie mille!
Lovely experience at Collezione Maramotti. It is quite a stunning and impressive collection. The building is also a sight in itself 💝
Quite an experience to visit this collection. A lot to take in and interpret. Our guide fortunately was expert and extremely helpful. Beautiful factory even the plumbing!
If your in the area you have to go see this collection!
Interesting immersive experience in the context of a historic industrial building repurposed as a museum. Great facilities and a guided tour on application by a knowledgeable guide to ensure the fullness of the experience. Contemporary art may not be to everyone's taste, but the experience is recommended.
A beautiful collection of contemporary art. A must see in Reggio Emilia.

A fascinating place for anyone with an interest in early years education.
Also known as the home of the Emilio Reggio schooling philosophy and strategies. Best suited for younger children but applies generally to life. Educational curiosity for me.
Always wanted to visit :) Since my psychology degree started. Wonderful exhibition and space
The whole space is just amazing, bright and comfy, the dining room upstair is well equipped, welcoming, the menu is ok for lunch, convenient and water is free, and you can even have it sparkling
An aesthetically beautiful space filled with both history and future. Comfortable plenary space. Great food. Amazing atelier!!
Amazing experience, a really important part of early childhood, highly recommended.
I visited this place more times thanks to the celebration of the Memorial of Jesus' Death. Great staff, clean and tidy rooms with an exceptional camera to frame the speaker (it's a detail if you want to see the event from home). Comfortable chairs and good audio balance
