We organized a pre-wedding party and a Sunday brunch. Staff was on point, polite and helpful. Food was delicious. Drinks as well. They helped organize a live pizza and karaoke night. They even added a beautiful firework. Both events were a complete success by all accounts. Absolute pleasure and we’ll come back :)
Good club one off and if you are in gold zone. Very good service. Food terrible, drinks is a joke, cocktails is not good, not good at all
Nice beach club! …it could be better without smokers (they are literally everywhere!) Also, heads up, you need lunch reservations. Went to the restaurant at 1:30pm to find out that there was a 45 mins wait for lunch… on a Thursday!😉
Really rated this place! We paid for 50 euro for 2 seats and an umbrella in August - Really clean and nice facilities - Heaps of staff that were really friendly - Great sandy beach perfect for swimming - Felt glamorous in the restaurant part, nice decor - Seats were well spaced apart from each other Food was expensive at the restaurant but as expected at a beach club!
Clean facility, nice beach but with some debris. Lots of sand, which is nice. Lifeguard on duty. Service was just ok, for the price they charge.
What a little gem, lovely place to spend a couple of days sunbathing and swimming around. Very nice staff and lots of attention to details highly recommended
Sabbiadoro Luxury Beach is a truly beautiful and very clean beach. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, we couldn’t stay as planned, but the team was extremely understanding and refunded our payment without hesitation. The staff are kind, professional, and genuinely care about their guests’ experience. This level of customer service is rare and deserves to be appreciated. I will definitely come back on a sunny day to fully enjoy this wonderful place. Highly recommended!
Our hotel arranged several chairs for the family. We were there from around 10:30-4. We loved every minute of our time. The drinks were great (they have an impressive wine list!) and they even made me a fruit smoothie that I was skeptical about but turned out great. We also had lunch there and it was surprisingly excellent. Overall, a great time.

Beautiful cathedral and a cozy small town of Monopoli. On the shore you can buy fresh seafood straight from the boats that arrived with the catch. Clean, neat, with many temples and beautiful snow-white houses. I'm sure that in the summer it is even more beautiful here, when the weather is 12-15 degrees warmer. Today it was very windy and the sea with high waves. Lots of dogs 🐶
Beautiful, open and ancient. There are paintings there that should be in art museums, and everything is so pristine, it does feel holy. You can go up to the balcony, which is magical.
Almost a must if you come to Monopoli. A landmark from afar. A splendour up close. Bright and spacious. Certainly one of the reasons why so many weddings are celebrated here.
My visit to the Basilica Cattedrale Maria Santissima della Madonna in Monopoli, Italy, was an unforgettable experience that left me in awe. I had the pleasure of visiting this magnificent church with my parents, and it was wonderful to share this moment with them. The moment we stepped inside, we were all struck by the sheer scale and beauty of this stunning church. The interior is a masterpiece, adorned with vibrant marbles, stunning frescoes, and intricate stucco work that creates a breathtakingly beautiful atmosphere. The religious art, including beautiful canvases and sculptures, adds to its grandeur, showcasing the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the region. What I found particularly intriguing were the walls adorned with the skulls of past priests—a grim yet fascinating aspect that adds to the church’s mystique. This unique feature not only highlights the church’s history but also serves as a poignant reminder of the lives dedicated to faith. The combination of stunning architecture, beautiful art, and historical significance makes this church a must-visit destination for anyone interested in history, art, and spirituality. I highly recommend visiting the Basilica Cattedrale Maria Santissima della Madonna. It is not only a place of worship but also a cultural and artistic treasure that will leave you with lasting memories. Whether you are drawn by its religious significance or its architectural beauty, this church is sure to captivate and inspire you. Sharing this experience with my family made it even more special, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have explored such a remarkable place together.
One of many historical churches in South Italy. Good place to cool off during Italian summers
This is the most spectacular interior I have ever seen! Glorious and beautiful!
As of 5 October 2025 the Sunday mass times that are listed in the information before entering the church are as follows: Basilica Cattedrale: 7.30, 10, 11:30, 19
Stunning interior and that's saying something in Italy!!

58 Euros entrance 2 adults, 2 kids with > 100 sm. very good experience in park, clear water, variaty of swimming-pools, 3 Fotoes 15 EUR., Food devastating, but they do not change it, because make a fortune from pig food, each at least 5 EUROS
Disaster of service for the price you pay . Food nothing special to buy piece of pizza with with only tomato with a price of whole pizza 🍕. Glass of beer €5 , expensive . Me and wife spent €120 total and I went home very hungry. To enter €56+€12 deckchairs. Taught the main pool always with music running but I went 3 times to tell them switch on some music . Don't go there because totally rip of on everything .
Super clean and a lot of fun. We absolutely loved it. Not many slides (6 big ones) but more than enough for one day out. Kids didn't want to leave.
I went here when I was on holiday and it was one of the hottest days, it was quite busy and there were lots for queues but the queues went really fast. The lifeguards are really good at doing there job but they could be a bit more happy when doing it. All around great waterpark should definitely come
Expected a typical waterpark but it was very clean and amazingly well maintained. We went with 2 small children, 1year old and 3 yr old. The kids area is fantastic but the park might be a bit boring for teenagers as there aren't many big slides but id definitely recommend it if you have younger kids. We went on a week day out of season so it was fairly quiet
Good fun, we enjoyed it. The children (9 and 6) enjoyed the kids pool and splash area, less so the slides (the straight blue ones were way too fast and splashy for them). The DJ build up to the wave machine was good fun, we had a good dance and clap, shame the wave machine itself was quite limited to two small areas of the pool, which got immediately crammed. I've seen better wave pools. Queuing for the doughnuts in the lazy river was dull and long-winded! Overall worthwhile, but fairly expensive! We spent €100 on entry and loungers and around €30 on average food. Next time we would just get the umbrella and bring our own food, which we didn't know we could do.
An unpleasant trip over there, the pools are nice, the slides not so many, but ok, but we had a bad experience with the purchase of the tickets, we couldn't get them online, only the umbrellas, which I could pay them online, but not the sunbeds, there are many areas you cand reserve but u didn't know, it wasn't shown on the site, that you have to know where you reserve the umbrella because it doesn't come with the sunbeds, you have to pay them also and I had to take 3 trips to the cash desk to solve this mystery! The conversation with the lady who sold us the tickets was very difficult, they know very poor English, and although I explained from the start that I had reservations for the umbrellas she didn't understand and so I had to get into the park and realized that I only got the umbrellas and the sunbeds not. I had to ho 3 times to her to explain that I want sunbeds too and that I will pay them also. Very bad experience! So, better pay at the entrance and don't complicate yourself to go online. The ticket price also very expansive, the food was OK.
Fabulous Water Park with something for everyone. Various age related pools, fountains, slides for big and small. Loved the lazy river where you can get inflated rings or just swim through without, as the gentle current takes you around. Nice food and drinks available. Good parking. Entrance fee is a bit expensive xtra for an umbrella with 2x beds but good if you spend the whole day.

Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Stone fortress built in the mid-1500s & used as a jail for centuries, with a bastion & sea views.
Slide 1 of 8
This area is really wonderful to view. The public transport, taxi are available. The traditional and popular restaurants are nearby of tourists attractions places. It is better to walk to visit.
Going inside the castle does not wort it. It is a bit expensive and you do not get much for that prize. On the other side, a walk around it and alongside the sea is a much more worthy experience for everyone. Amazing view the the water, with not that many people alongside the path. The old town is mesmerising. I spent a few days in Monopoli, and it was the best places overall (the surrounding).
Unfortunately, I only looked at it from the inside. It was closed that day. But it is very respectful and beautiful with these huge walls. Someday I will come back and look at the inside. 😉
Didn't go inside the castle - just walked around outside it. It's not a particularly beautiful castle from the outside but the views across the water are stunning. Monopoli old town is full of lovely old buildings, it's a wonderful town to visit - would recommend.
Absolutely scam. You couldn't enter to the top roof and the lowest level. Don't waste your money, just skip it, because you won't see anything. No view points, only small windows. Better choice if you wlak around the port.
Can't criticise the architecture, although a lot of it was closed on the day of visit. It was hosting a picasso esque display when we went.and was gallery quiet. Probably is worth the 10 euro entry fee (given the age and upkeep costs) but it would have been nice to see kore
It's great that this fortress is open every year for the PhEST Festival. It somehow gives the exhibition the right setting. I also like the basement floors for the different video art exhibitions.
I recently checked out this old fortress, a timeless characteristic symbol. The architecture is stunning, with intricate internal paths that really make you appreciate its history. It looks very scenic from the outside as well, thanks to it being close to the sea and perfect october weather. You absolutely shouldn't skip this place during your stay!

Nice beach, sandy and no stones which is especially great for families with kids. You can always find sunbeds available. You pay 10 eur more per bed for 1st row, but it is still cheaper than most of places in this area. Very helpful staff. Has parking paid 5 eur and also locker service to keep your stuff if you don't wanna carry around.
In peak season we struggled to find any beach bar with available sunbeds. Here they had heaps and when we called to reserve they seemed surprised. Plenty of beds available, not too close together at 15 eur each and 15 to umbrella. Car park is 5 eur. Beach is clear and not too deep, fine sand. The restaurant and bar are fairly priced and an enjoyable fresh lunch of a tuna salad and Caprese salad. Staff are friendly.
Water was amazing and very friendly staff
Spent a great time here. Beautiful beach and nice crew. 3 euros for parking, 18 euros for one umbrella and 2 beds. Paid shower but free changing room. The water and sand perfect!
Zero service, not a place suitable for tourists
Great service, nice beach. Reasonable price.
We had to create some shade with branches on the beach since @lido_pellerossa refused to let us rent only one umbrella for a 7 months old baby !!!!! After spending over 200 euros in their restaurant and ecen with a most empty beach, accepting to rent us only one umbrella for a baby would have been such a tremendous efforts they would not have survived 😤🤬
Food is average. In addition they charged us not respecting the prices written on the menu. So check carefully your bill before paying.

(Translated by Google) Nice beach but with terrible management. At the entrance no one warned us that the beach would be closed at 7pm and around 6.45pm a bald, plump gentleman arrived shouting that we had to leave because the lifeguards had to go to work the next day. We ate there, we weren't expecting anything and in fact I don't recommend eating there. But the funniest thing was when we asked for 4 crowns of salt and lemon, they delivered the beers with the salt sachets separately, something never seen even in the third world. The bottom line is, I don't recommend you pull up to this establishment at all.

A purgatory church is constructed as a place for people to pray for the souls trapped in limbo between heaven and hell. in this case reason for building the church was a churchbell that killed 40 people in 1686. The church has a sinister and macaber look and feel. On many places in the church there are skeletons and skulls found and several Black Madonnas. Top this of with some real clerk mummies and you have another weird church with skulls (like the one in Otranto).

OMG WHERE DO U FIND A LIDO WITHOUT ANNOYING TECHNO BEATS THUMPING IN THE BACKGROUND THESE DAYS!!!! also: nice snacks and reasonable prices at the bar. entree fee was a tad bit expensive at €40 but that’s a small price to pay for complete and utter serenity. i might have possibly achieved Zen-mind here.
We came on september 18 2020 and there was no umbrella, chair rental or food. The beach was empty, so we had it for ourselves. It is a small lovely beach. The sand was dirty with seaweed and cigarette butts (damn dirty smokers). The water had red seaweed near the shore, but 4 meters away it was clean. If you dive, it is advised to use water shoes as it is FULL of stones. BIG stones. After 1 meter in the water, there is no sand and only rocks.
Nice Lido on a beautiful "caletta" at a fair price and it has an excellent restaurant (reserve a spot for lunch when you get there in the morning). Parking is 5 euro. You can reserve an umbrella on the multi layered terraces which is nice with an elevated view BUT beware, it's on grass, and sometimes you find ants which are a pain. Umbrellas on ground level are on sand. Cold showers included.
A very nice lido. The actual beach is little and you access to it via stairs, tho. But the view that it presents to you is stunning! Also, this place has a lot of parking spots (price is 5€), a good bar where you ca pay by credit cards, and a picnic area!
Just south of Monopoli, this beach is conveniently located. It's lovely to look at with loads of chairs, umbrellas and nice sand. The water area isn't huge and there are lots of medium and large rocks in the water. It was 5 euros to park and 20 euros for 2 chairs and an umbrella, which I found price for what it is.
It was lovely.. good sandy beach.. clear clean water.. a bit pricey at 10 Euros each and 10 each for the umbrella and chairs.. but in the end worth it for such a beautiful day.
Really nice lido. We had our beds right on the beach and that was perfect choice. 2 beds with umbrella cost 20 euro.
Small beach, half private with sunbeds 20 euros, half free. Beautiful caves, however the sea is not the cleanest, the toilette is few hundred meters walking. Theres a restaurant however you can not take the food away.

Nice beach but very crowded and limited space between the sun beds. On the positive side, the price is decent for the region. We paid 30€ plus 3 per person. Food and beverages are not expensive and there are great showers and changing rooms.
Water quality is not stable, sunbeds very close to eachother but good organisation, decent food and prices, parking costs 3 eur
Beach with not that many rocks! €3 pp for parking, the only sad thing is that u get forced to rent sunbeds and an umbrella as soon as u enter the beach. The first day we were unnoticed and were able to put our towel in the sand. After a happy experience we decided to come back the next day. Unfortunately we ran in to the owner who gave us an ultimatum: rent sunbeds or get your momey back from the parking and go to another beach. The man was not worth his €6.
(Translated by Google) Recommended by a local, we went to this beach but regretted it. First of all, the sea in front is absolutely unswimmable due to its overgrowth of seagrass both on the shore and in the water. Of course, it's not their fault, but they certainly don't do anything to improve the experience, as the welcome is cold and quite rude. Furthermore, in addition to umbrellas and loungers, you have to pay 3 euros per person (including children!) for entry, which is completely illegal and is passed off as a "service fee," which is unclear since even a cold shower costs 20 cents. And if you don't have the 20 cents, you'll get a masterpiece because they'll get them for you at the cashier, and if you want five 20-cent coins paid by card, they'll charge you 1.10 for the commission. Obviously, everything else is priced ridiculously, like 1.80 for a half-liter of water, something you wouldn't even find in Portofino. In short, besides not coming here again, I can only hope that the Guardia di Finanza or the Port Authority will stop by because there's a lot that doesn't add up.

(Translated by Google) An insider tip for garden lovers. Inspiring garden with many Mediterranean plants/woody plants and trees that are rare for us. An oasis of peace… probably that’s why it’s pretty hidden there. The visit was very nice. Even now in autumn... what will it look like in spring?? (Original) Ein Geheimtipp für Garten-Liebhaber. A place guarding ancient splendor, expertly narrated and described by the guide Feancesco, a highly knowledgeable guide with a profound knowledge of the subject. A lover of nature and its wonders, a true master, he captivates visitors emotionally, prompting them to ask fascinating questions about the reserve's "treasures." I highly recommend it; it's a suitable experience for families and students. The trail is also accessible to disabled visitors. (Translated by Google) A strange botanical garden - it is only open for a couple of hours on weekends, and does not accept visitors on weekdays. We planned our trip so that we could visit it, because it presents itself impressively on its website. Unfortunately, when we arrived on Saturday, they did not let us in during the stated opening hours and suggested that we come back in two weeks. So I do not recommend going there, because you will just waste your time.

Great port, a very photogenic place where you can relax and capture moments with your camera. I recommend seeing it in person because it leaves a strong impression 📸🛥️
I was there in the January.. In my opinion it was nothing special. Trashes floated in the water. Definity better choice is Polignano a Mare located near to Monopoli
Amazing location for views and eatery , so much variety and great ambience ..
Very beautiful and not crowded at all.
Wonderful place that is worth the visit.
It is an old but charming port in the middle of Centro Storico.
Nice place to view the port or harbour. You get to see scores of boats lined up, quite busy area. Best place to take photography of the port area.
A view over the water of the beautiful row of houses which in turn look out on the old harbor (Porto Antico) To visit very early in the morning during the high season. I visit Puglia twice: once in winter and the next time in spring. Excepcional photogenic place.

Beautiful areas surrounding the place, worth while walking around and exploring the small streets/alleyways. I didn't see much of a crowd which is good but there were events in the area which blocked some of the access and streets. Cool place to explore, I didn't go inside though
Beautiful church with an amazing cripta. Three rupestre part is really worth visiting.
One of the Most ancient church in town, beautifull

(Translated by Google) Chiesa Santa Maria degli Amalfitani – During my visit to the picturesque town of Monopoli, the Chiesa Santa Maria degli Amalfitani impressed me the most. Even from the outside, I felt the tranquility emanating from this ancient building – located in a quiet alley not far from Piazza Garibaldi, it is a true, peaceful treasure in the heart of the lively historic coastal quarter. Inside, I was immediately struck by the simple yet dignified architecture: three naves (the central one wider, the two side ones narrower) and arched columns with impressive Romanesque capitals. Everything appears authentic, without superfluous ornamentation – it is precisely this simple purity that lends the interior a special atmosphere. The biggest surprise, however, was the crypt. A staircase led me down to a chamber hewn into the rock, where history becomes almost tangible – it is said that it served as a sacred space as early as the 11th century, when a group of sailors from Amalfi sought refuge and solace there with the Virgin Mary. At that moment, I felt as if I were connecting with the past – the silence, the cool air, and the stone walls intensified the experience. My tip for visitors: It's worth coming in the morning when it's still quiet inside, allowing you to admire the details of the capitals and vaults in peace. The crypt can be a bit damp and cool, which actually adds to the authentic atmosphere – so I recommend bringing a light coat or scarf. And be sure to spend some time outside by the apses – the exterior of the church still features Gothic elements from the 12th century and is a wonderful spot for photographers and lovers of historical architecture.
(Translated by Google) Particular church, very old with the crypt underneath. Very kind lady who let us in, gave us a brochure of the history of the church and a bookmark, entry is free, opens at 5pm. It is very beautiful underneath, not too big but also particular, the biggest peculiarity is that it is built below sea level and in fact underneath we find areas with sea water. Nothing too much but very cool to visit and lose that quarter of an hour (Original) Chiesa particolare, molto d'epoca con la cripta sotto.
(Translated by Google) It would be great to be able to review it. But evidently 2 days of surveillance are not enough to see if someone makes access to the church available. It is clear that the person in charge no longer receives a salary or is in conflict with his administration and uses the keys for blackmail as if they were the keys to his own house. I felt ashamed for the many tourists waiting to enter. (Original) Sarebbe bellissimo poterla recensire.
