Alyki Beach is a peaceful and beautiful spot — no waves, calm water, and perfect for swimming. There are just a few places to sit, so it's best to come early. On the left side of the beach, there’s a scenic trail with breathtaking views that’s definitely worth exploring. A quiet gem!
The bay itself is beautiful. The beach would be beautiful if it wasn't so ram-packed with beach chairs and umbrellas. You can barely move. Also big boats come in and dump 100s of passengers into the bay. Taverna Leonidas is a lovely place to sit and enjoy lunch, and the archaeological site of Aliki is right next to the beach and worth a visit. Therefore I'd visit the beach if I were visiting the archaeological site, but wouldn't drive here just for the beach - there are better. Parking is up on the main road. There's a quieter beach behind on the others side of the peninsula, 2 min walk from here.
Such a beautiful beach! In the early morning (9 AM) it is not crowded, there is plenty of space where you can choose from. We chose a set of sunbeds which were 20€ per set, without anything included. But the staff there (a lady and a man) are very friendly, attentive. We ordered 2 coffees and a water and they were brought in less than 5 minutes. There are no waves, the water is clear and lean, perfect for kids and families. There are parking spaces along the main road, a couple of minutes apart from the beach.
To crowdedness for our taste. But other than that, water was perfect until tourist boats came with their garbage which ended up in water. You should definitely come early here in order to park your car. This is a beach for families with children, so if you are not fond of that, avoid it.
It has nice views but the space is not well maintained, i came back after 2 years and some informative panels are destroyed and vegetation can be irrigated maybe.
We visited Aliki Beach and chose to stay at the middle beach bar with the brown sunbeds. The price for two sunbeds and an umbrella is €20 , this is only for the sunbeds, and anything you order from the bar is not included in this price. The staff makes sure to inform you about this right from the beginning. The prices are very reasonable for a beach bar. Everything was great the staff were friendly, polite, very well organized, and they also speak English very well, which makes communication easy and pleasant. We definitely plan to return!
It is a wonderful beach with crystal clear water. There are many facilities in the beach with different prices, I recommend the place with the beige sunbeds ( the one next to the brown sunbeds). It had a minimum consumption amount of 30 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella without extra fees so it was great.
Excellent for kids, but expensive. First and second rows of sunbeads are minimum consumption 70eur in taverna, other rows were from 50eur, and it is always full. You need to park on the street, and there are a lot of car parks.

Very long beach, plenty of space, there is something for everyone here, easy to park and walk to the beach from multiple parking areas, vast array of bars restaurants etc, if like the bars quieter, head to the northern end of the beach, if its something a bit louder youre looking for head to the southern end of the beach, where you will also find plenty of small boutique style shops selling all sorts of local delicacies
Long sandy beach, shallow, crystal clear sea. Gets busy but we got to the beach just after 8am and enjoyed some space to ourselves before the crowds arrived. Saying that, it's not packed, plenty of space for everyone. Sunbeds 15€ for a set of 2, with umbrella. Great place to chill, unwind and relax.
A beautiful slice of paradise. Soft golden sand turquoise water. Plenty of sunbeds, water sports, lifeguard, beach bars and the wonderful Greek people. You can walk end to end of the beach stopping off for a drink ar some amazing fresh fish . A real treat.
It is such a nice beach. The village has so many houses to rent for the summer. The beach is great. The waters are clear and clean. There are a lot of coffee amd food options and various pricea. There is a long beach walk up to Xrisi Akti to walk along. The staff at the shops is very polite.
It's a beautiful, long beach. It's stunning at sunrise, and there are different businesses at different parts of the beach. There are fees for sunbeds and umbrellas, but they're affordable. We set up our own tent and swam there.
One of the best beaches on Thassos. Plenty of beach bars where you can buy a coffee or a drink and you will get two sun-beds and umbrella for free. Also plenty of spots where you can bring your own accessories. When entering sea it is shallow for a very long time so it is perfect for families with kids.
It was such a pleasure being on golden beach, the sand is so fine and soft that it cannot be described with words, you need to feel it. The beach is huge and it has one of the best views on the island. The water is clear and it is good for non swimmers as it is so shallow. It's not good for snorkeling as there is nothing really to see underwater, only sand and a few fish here and there. This beach is perfect if you want to fully relax and enjoy.
Water has some algue here and there, pieces floating. The sea has deep and shallow parts, not turquise but still in general it is clean. Sand is very smooth.

Paradise Beach really lives up to its name. I went there as part of a boat tour and it was one of the best spots we visited. The water was crystal clear and you could see everything, even from above. There were so many colorful fish swimming around and it felt like an aquarium in real life. A bit further out from the beach we even saw dolphins swimming. That moment was just magical. If you like snorkeling or diving this place is perfect. You can explore so much underwater and it is honestly one of the best things to do there. The beach itself is clean, peaceful and really beautiful. But if you go in the middle of summer just be prepared for a lot of tourists. It can be hard to find a free spot to sit and sometimes you have to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. So it is a good idea to bring your own umbrella and chairs if you want to stay comfortable. I would totally recommend going especially if you are doing a boat tour around the island.
A beautiful beach worth a visit. There are 2 cafes on it, and in between there are places for tourists who don't want to be in those cafes. The view is beautiful, the water is warm and not too windy, a real paradise. Only the approach to the beach is terrible, if you don't have a good car, be careful! For this reason, I give a rating of 4.
Love this beach. It is in a beautiful setting and is reasonably accessible. It’s especially accommodating and safe for children as it is shallow in many parts. Would highly recommend to visit it.
Nice beach with soft sand and shallow water. There are free areas where you can sit, parking lots and beach bars where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas as well. After 11:00 it gets pretty crowded.
Parking - many people park on the main road, however when I drove all the way down to the parking next the beach there were 2 parking spaces free. The road down to the beach it steep and sandy/dusty. There is a chance the on the way back some cars might get stuck towards the end. Nature - the sand is very fine, however the beach is not well cleaned. Many sticks, cigarettes, and small pieces of rubbish in the sand. I think that the two beach bars should take better care on the condition of the beach. Beach bars- there are two beach bars. A set of 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella costs 30 euros and includes 1 drink. At the area of the bars ice bags are not allowed. Shower is ONLY allowed for the people who are paying fot umbrella set. There is no free shower, which is very dissapointing... Sea - the water is clean. The depth is shallow until further in the sea. It is suitable for small children. Overall, it is loud and crowded beach, because of its popularity. Furthermore , because of the policy the the two beach bars, people who are not using the sunbeds feel unwanted on the beach.
Best beach on Thassos. It has enough space for everyone, even for those who bring their own umbrellas and chairs. It has a big parking area few minutes away from the beach.
My favorite beach in Thassos! Surrounded by greenery, with crystal-clear water and fine sand, it’s simply beautiful. There’s free parking, though the road leading to it isn’t the best – but everything else more than makes up for it. The beach has a spacious free zone and two bars/restaurants. We highly recommend Nikos Bar & Grill.
If you're looking for a beach with beautiful waters and clean, combined with nature, and swallow waters, this is the perfect place! Ideal for families. If you are into exploring the rocky side of the coastline, bring a mask but avoid touching or climbing because there are sea urchins (the rest of the beach is sea-urchin free!!). Bring your own umbrellas and chairs to avoid paying for sunbeds.

Amazing! I recommend coming with sneakers or good shoes because the terrain is a bit difficult to climb. We were there about 9:35 and it was empty but it got more crowded soon. The water is amazing and even if you’re not so good at swimming, this pool is so salty and it keeps you floating. Definitely recommend swimming in it, a unique experience!
It is worth coming here for a couple of hours- for some jumping and snorkeling near by is simply beautiful. Even though it was full of people there was room for everyone. Also jumping can be down at different heights so you can overcome your fears and keep developing 🚀
A great spot for beautiful photos. We visited in the second half of September. Parking near the lagoon costs 4 euros, but you can park for free a little earlier. It's still an 8-minute walk down. The descent is not easy for those 60+. There are plenty of smooth rocks there, perfect for sunbathing.
Amazing natural pool with a breathtaking view. It is easy to get in the lagoon. It is a bit difficult to get out, but with a little help it is managable. Not many tourists get inside which is good because it keeps the water clean. Don't bring umbrellas and sea-chairs because there is no place to put them. The area is rocky. Nobody stays for long time because it isn't a beach. I take a star down because THERE is a road to get close to the lagoon but the "bussinessman" who bought the area have closed the road only to get through their taverns and their coffee shops to spend your money. So you have to walk down a 20-minute road. There are two options. Follow the yellow sign "Giola" or you can follow the blue sign "Giola vibes". Both ways get you to the lagoon. You just pass through the tavern or the coffee shop. Don't park in the parking area because it is not free. You can park for free anywhere among the olive trees. TIP from a local: Don't park on the cement street because the police checks the area every 2 hours and gets the car plates if you have parked on the cement street.
I recommend going at a time when there aren't many people around and the weather isn't too hot. It's worth seeing, and swimming there is a wonderful experience, but only under the conditions I mentioned.
The lagoon is amazing and the view .. wow But the way to the lagoon is way too far and hard 🤣 make sure you have appropriate shoes for water and also sneakers to arrive there, no sleepers!!
The visit was wonderful and worth coming. Its very fun for jumping but I give an advice and go there early. The ticket for the parking was 4 euros for 2 hours. But it's a little hard to get there by feet
Beautiful nature's creation. Keep in mind it's very crowded most of the day. Avoid touching the rocks on the sides of the formation and at the bottom because there are sea urchins!

Very nice museum. Ticket was 4eur. We visited it last year in July. Good stories, intriguing figures, worth seeing
Ticket cost 4€ on their site and 10€ on the door. The museum shop doesn’t have credit card terminal. The museum is very nice, so much to see, and it is unexpectedly big. The lady working on the first floor was very nice to explain to us where to start our visit. You will need half an hour to one hour to explore it all. Then you can go next door, to the site where excavations are and see the ruins.
A nice place with a touch of history. What disappointed me greatly was the neglected first part of the tour (some display cases are illegible, faded). Furthermore, the website lists the admission price as €4, which I would consider adequate for what is on offer. Upon arrival, you find that the price has been covered up and is now €10. I recently visited the history museum in Heraklion, Crete, and this place is like its poor relative. It's worth a visit, but it could use a little care and a little less greed.
Absolutely beautiful archaeological museum! I recommend first visiting the surrounding sites and then the museum to have a connection to the shown artifacts. The museum is greatly designed. Friendly staff. The entrance fee is absolutely worth it. A must see here.
One of the best archeological Museums I have visited. It's a must and you have to go. Entrance ticket adult 10 euros.
The museum is very interesting and much bigger than it looks. We went on a Saturday and it was free admission 😃 (usually €10 pp)
It is a must place to visit, everyone should be aware of greek ancient culture. Mistakes from history that are forgotten, are more likely repeated...
It was boring there, I regret the time I spent on the trip to this place, because of this museum we didn't have time to go to the beach, which upsets me, there is nothing to see there, the statues are all headless or just heads, a maximum of 20 minutes of viewing no more.

modern place for unwinding and relaxation. the Beach is wonderful (although it gets pretty deep after a few steps). It's more for young people to enjoy the modern setup of this place, like the small pool with leaves all over, water falling from the above, the big, cozy chairs in the back under the palm trees, the restaurant etc. The only issue is the amount of wasps it has. We got bitten a few times (luckily, with no serious consequences). The staff is polite and fast with the orders. No outside food and drinks are allowed, as this place has everything to offer (however, prices are a bit high for the region)
One of the luxurious beaches in Thassos. We paid 50 euros for one set of sunbeds (for 2 persons), which had to be spent on consumptions from their bar. We had a wonderful day, everything was excellent, except for the wasps that were everywhere, making it difficult to eat comfortably. You can still go and eat at the bar, but it doesn’t really make much of a difference. They couldn’t offer us smoked coffee grounds against the wasps because their policy doesn’t allow lighting anything on the property. The staff was friendly and attentive whenever we needed something. The food and coffee were excellent, although the food options seemed a bit limited. You can also get a massage. Just ask the staff and they will provide you all the details. It’s separate from the beach and bar area, but the view makes it absolutely worth it. The sound of the waves and the relaxing ambiance make the experience a hundred times better. Prices are 30 euros for a relaxing massage and 40 euros for a sports/deep tissue massage.
La Scala Beach in Thassos is absolutely perfect! From the moment you arrive, the stylish design and laid-back vibe make it feel like an exotic getaway. For €25 per person, you get sunbeds and can consume that amount in food and drinks - totally worth it. We tried the avocado toast with salad, frappes, and a chicken club sandwich (it’s enough for 2 people) and everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is exactly what you need for a summer escape: chill music, beautiful setting, and even a small pool for extra comfort. Yes, it can get a bit crowded, especially during weekends, but that’s part of its popularity - and it still feels relaxed. The sea is clean and warm, and the palms give you that true beach paradise feeling. There’s also free parking, though it’s not covered, so your car might get hot. If you’re looking for a chic, well-organized beach with great food, good vibes, and stunning surroundings, La Scala is the place to be! I would say the best beach in Thassos island! 🏝️
Probably one of the best beaches in Thasos in terms of facilities and service. The service concept is that you can use the sunbeds for free in exchange for a certain amount of daily spending. There is no entrance fee to the facility. You can use a single sunbed by spending €20 per day, and private lounges for 8–10 people are available with a daily spend of €350–€400. If you don’t spend that amount, you are required to pay the difference at the end of the day. Bringing food and drinks into the facility is prohibited — they confiscate them if they see any. The showers and toilet facilities could be better. There is also a small boutique in the facility that sells swimwear and clothing. The food and drinks are high-quality and delicious. The beach and sea bottom are sandy, clean, and calm without waves. There are also opportunities for water sports.
The music was excellent and the atmosphere lively. However, the sunbeds are placed very close together, leaving no real private space. The food was decent. The price is minimum 30€/40€ consummation per person. Unfortunately, we weren’t informed at the entrance that orders from the restaurant do not count toward this amount. On the positive side, the water near the rocky area is crystal clear. I would return for a party, but not for a relaxing day.
This is the best beach we’ve found so far on the island for relaxing — great vibes and perfect for chilling. The water is nice with small waves, but be careful of the big rocks when getting in. There are some water sports available too, if you're up for it. The food is really tasty, and the cocktails are decent. The only downside is the service — it’s quite slow and a bit disorganised at times. Still, the overall atmosphere makes it worth visiting!
The atmosphere of the beach is really nice. The sunbeds are free of charge but you have to spend 20 or 30 euros per person depending on the place. We ordered pizza and it was good. The staff was nice.
At the entrance, they ask if it's your first time and mention the spending limit. Then, without fully understanding the spending limits for each location and the Euros, we tried to get support and chose a place. We had a great time and enjoyed our entire day. The waitress was helpful and friendly. They asked us to check out at 5:30 because there was a wedding at the venue. Naturally, we wanted to use the showers and changing rooms when leaving, but the showers were in terrible condition. I had to bring bottled water from my car for my little daughter so she could at least take a shower. She said I couldn't bring the bottled water from my car in. When I explained that I needed to shower my child and that the showers were a disaster, I was forced to ask for permission to take two bottles. The mistake here isn't that I brought a bottle of water from my car to shower when I checked out; the mistake here is that your showers and changing rooms, which don't have hot water or even a shower head, need urgent repairs.

Nice beach and water, not crowded at all. The price for the 2 sunbeds is 10 euro. You have food at the bar, the club sandwich is very good, the drinks are also good. You also have a place where you can go for a little hike and see a beautiful view.
Two sunbeds and one umbrella are 10 €. There is plenty of space, but there are slippery rocks and you might need water shoes. The beach bar has soft drinks/coffee/beer etc and a few snacks/sandwiches/salads, but not a large variety of food.
The beach is mostly pebbles, entering the water there's a big stone that you're going to be walking on, and it's slippery, so better bring your water shoes. There's parking, coffee, drinks, and some food (mostly sandwiches). Loved the space between the sunbeds.
More of a wild remote beach, 10 euros/set, nothing included; you need water shoes, it has a cliff you can climb and watch the most amazing sunset (perfect spot for it); we stayed for the afternoon and it was just perfect, but if you cannot swim maybe is not the best beach; it has a bar too and a bug parking lot, but hard to get there without a SUV
Best place for snorkelling with lots of fish. No sand, only pebbles on the beach. A bit of slippery rocks when you enter the water. 10 euro for two sunbeds. Metallia Bar serves food.
Metalia Beach is a truly lovely and unique spot. Before you reach the beach, you’ll find large stones carved with zodiac signs — a fun and unexpected touch. There’s also a small tunnel that leads to another beach, which adds a bit of adventure to your visit. It’s a peaceful place with beautiful views, especially at sunset. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re exploring Thassos!
Nice calm beach with enough dpace between sunbeds which we really liked. There is also enough space to place umbrellas and towels on sand. Renting sunbeds is 10 euro and there is shower and toilet which are free of charge. Water was clean and nice. Ice latte/ fredo cappuccino is 5euro.
A very beautiful beach, given the space allocated to each set, umbrella and 2 sun loungers. The price is €10/set. Access with your own drinks is allowed. They also have a bar where you can buy drinks and food. The beach has a toilet. There are stones in the water in the first part, then after only 10m it is only sand. To cross the stones they have arranged paths with sandbags. I recommend this beach!

Nice lagoon with exit to the sea through a cave. Great area for snorkeling.
A very beautiful and pleasant cove next to Trypiti beach. It’s an excellent spot for snorkeling. There is a cave that leads you to different small coves that can’t be reached by foot or car — only by sea.
Amazing beach with clean, blue water. Nearby a lot of bars and taverns where you can try some delicious local food or buy drinks in reasonable prices. People here are very nice, almost everybody speaks English, cards payments are available
We found some hidden beaches. A gorgeous place.
Loved this beach. The sand was perfect, the entry in the sea was smouth and we could park the car under the trees, so it wasn't in the sun all day long.
Nice place, especially in the heat. You have all the shade and cool water. Beware of sea urchins (little spiky balls) on the rocks further in. The spikes are hard to get out. They break easy. Best to take out what you can and leave the rest in. Your body will get them out.
Great sandy beach. You can chose sunbeds or not. I just dont like stone plates on the enter in the sea.

Beautiful beach with fine sand and clear water. Sunbeds range from €30 to €50 with food and drink included. If you’re planning to visit this beach, make sure to come early as it gets very crowded. There is plenty of parking space above the beach.
One of the best beaches I’ve been to in years. Staff were great and eager to help. Family friendly with shallow water stretching for good 100ft/30m. It was clean and calm at the time we visited. The parking is across the street, not organized, first come first serve basis (dirt and rocks, not paved). As long as you are not blocking the road, you won’t be bothered.
The beach is absolutely amazing – very peaceful and relaxing, with soft fine sand that feels wonderful under your feet. The water is crystal clear and full of colorful fish, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. A true hidden gem and definitely a must-visit spot when you’re in Thassos!
Sure! Here’s a polished and enthusiastic review you can use for Psili Ammos Beach in Thassos: ⸻ We recently visited Psili Ammos Beach with a big group of friends, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the crystal-clear water, the vibrant yet relaxed beach vibe, and the overall organization of the place. The frappes and smoothies, also the fruit salad were refreshing and delicious, perfect for cooling down under the Greek sun. The food was fantastic, with a variety of choices that pleased everyone in our group. What stood out the most was the excellent service - friendly, fast, and always with a smile. The staff truly made our experience even more enjoyable. The beach itself is one of the most beautiful on the island - fine sand, turquoise waters, and great energy. If you want to chill, Psili Ammos strikes the perfect balance. If we had to point out one downside, it would be the wasps during dinner - a bit annoying, but honestly, it didn’t spoil the overall experience. Everything else was so good that it’s easy to overlook. Highly recommended - Psili Ammos is definitely one of the top beaches in Thassos, and we’re already planning to come back!
Sandy and shallow beach, has space for your own sunbeds but beach bars are also okay. After 18h the there is no crowd but the sun sets around 19:30. Good for taking pictures west of beach on the rocks.
Beautiful and clean water. Soft sand. Some rocks here and there but mostly soft golden sand. The sun-beds we stayed on had a minimum consumption of 50€/2 beds. It gets quite crowded throughout the day but in the morning it was ok.
Liked the sea, rocks on both sides and sand. Its really nice looking beach, but its too crowded in both beach and sea. Worth a visit, but be ready Liked the sea, rocks on both sides, and sand. It's a really nice-looking beach, but it's too crowded in both the beach and the sea. Worth a visit, but be ready for the aforementioned things.
Superb beach! Not to crowded! Clean, good service, nice food, perfect water, a bit of stones in the water bur not a problem, nice view of athos mountain and rock in sides of the beach! Recomand

Delightful place. A set of sunbeds costs 30€ which is completely consumable (as in, this can be paid off by buying 30€ worth of things from the bar). The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is incredibly friendly and the food and drinks were delicious without fail.
The staff was exceptionally friendly, the beach peaceful, and the sea delightful—though slightly rocky near the shore, there were no sharp stones to worry about. We enjoyed three wonderful days by the sea and would absolutely return on our next trip to Thassos.
Stunning beach, easy parking, clean and friendly staff. Would happily return. We went on a Sunday so minimum spend was 35 euros for 2 chairs and umbrella which we were happy to pay. You can also sit on the sand. There are rocks as you get in but no issues. Would go again!
Very relaxed beach bar, with excellent service and good prices. The only beach bar we visited twice, the guys remembered our orders and are very quick! Comfy sunbeds at no charge - spending minimum is 35€ per pair
We’ve been coming to Marley Beach Lounge for two years in a row and it never disappoints! The sun beds are super comfortable and very well organized, perfect for relaxing all day by the sea. The water is crystal clear and the beach is clean, which makes the whole experience even better. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, they constantly checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, fresh and nicely served. Totally recommend it if you want great food, good service and a beautiful place to spend the day! We really love the atmosphere here and we’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommended!
Very friendly staff indeed, specially Dmitrii, we try food in several places in Thassos, but here we found best food (even if menu is more bar related). Marley burger - is the best as it done from fresh minced beef, (in other places burger was kind of meat with spices - so no good at all), giros are very testy, salats, etc. so as i sad the best food that we found in Thassos. Beach iis not crowded, umbrella you can use just having a drink so you don’t fill that someone is pushing you, thank you!
Came once, ended up coming again! Amazing beach, amazing sun beds, the stuff is really friendly especially Dimitri! You can eat in peace as they give you coffee for wasps. The food is amazing, so are the drinks! The music is okay, not to loud not to quite. Definitely recommend to everyone!
Great place, friendly staff, food and drinks are relatively cheap. Sandy beach, some rocks in the water though. Very relaxed place overall, highly recommend if you are staying in the south of Thassos. Minimum consumption per umbrella (sunbeds and table included) is 35 euro.

Nice beach and clear water. Make sure you get a bit early in the morning for a good place.
The beach is not very big and is close to the port. There are quite a few bars and cafes. Sunbeds are not paid for but can be used if you order drinks or food from the bars. This year there were not many people because of the bad weather in June and there were quite a few free places.
As good or better than any other popular beach around the island. In the centre, crystal clear water, awesome service in Ftapodi. 20€ for sunbeds but you can consume anything for that amount. You don't have to drive around for other beaches, none of them are superior to this.
Clean, wheelchair accessible and free. After the bars and restaurants there’s a place for people to change and shower. Nice shade during the day from the trees. It’s lovely how they kept a beach in centre of the town clean. Good for kids.
For me, Limenas Beach was the best on the island of Thasos. There’s no need to go anywhere else! The crystal-clear water, full of fish, made for an amazing experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing beach day.
"Goodbye Thassos" kind of beach, because it is very close to the ferryboat crossing.
Shallow water, only some stones at the entrance, rest is sand. Very good place to be, even if you're not hosted in Limenas.
Only 3 stars. For first day, when we was tired from long road, and go on city beach,it's was ok.Never come back, because other beaches are 10 times better.Price is ok, 3 euro for frape, but glass is disgusting.

A lovely man, expert at his craft. Browse the shop filled with handcrafted pottery while mr. Costis talks about his ancestry, the history of the island and the history behind the workshop. It was a wonderful experience plus we got some lovely pieces to add to our collection ☺️
The most idyllic workshop. All the pottery looked beautifully hand made and the shop owner was very friendly. Loved seeing where he made his products and the process behind his pieces too. Definitely worth the short walk from Limenas Main Street
Been there many times. Always unique items beautiful and reasonable. Costis is awesome
Very nice workshop, various dishes and souvenirs are made of ceramics.
A very quaint old pottery with lots of history that the owner is happy to talk about. Beautiful location right by the sea. Great for Greek souvenir pottery.
Costi owns this family owned place for decades now and makes amazing, hand-crafted pottery. Each piece is unique and we stop here every time we are in Thassos to buy some new pieces.
Some lovely pieces of pottery all hand made and reasonable prices. Owner gives you a mini guild. Lovely setting
Amazing place, pottery shop and workshop by the sea. Costis is incredible and likes sharing stories and showing his works, materials.

Small, cozy, tucked-away beach. The sand is fine and soft, and the water is just perfect. It’s super shallow, so great for kids. As of June 2025, a set (umbrella + 2 sunbeds) costs €30, but you get two drinks of your choice with that (frappé, beer, iced tea, etc.). There’s only a tiny free zone, though. Probably because of the high price, the beach was pretty empty — especially in the afternoon. So it kind of feels like your own private beach. It’s beautiful, no doubt. But I’m not sure I’d come back.
Beautiful beach but for my preferences it is too crowded. The gulf is narrow and all the areas near the sea are occupied by sunbeds and umbrellas. I did not stay during the day, but we went during the sunset and the view was just amazing. It is lovely to visit this beach in the evening and watch how the sun goes down.
The beach is stunning, but the beach bar has illegally taken over almost the entire beach. Every grey and straw umbrella is owned by the bar, leaving very little space for the public.
A small beach with organised umbrellas and some free space. Not a lot of people at the end of September. Perfect sand and not deep at all, suitable for kids.
The beach is amazing, the nature is breathtaking, especially looking the bay from above. The sand is perfect, the water is clean and great for small kids. But... 1. The price for 1 person is 15 Euro including one drink, which I consider expensive for Tassos. I took one coffee, I placed it in the sand next to me, because it was windy, not to fall down. I turned my back on the coffee for just 30 seconds, and it disappeared. After asking around it appeared that the lady from the beach bar throw it away, full cup of coffee, without even asking me. When I told her, she did not know what to say or how to react. 2. The beach is small but overcrowded. Too much people are allowed in. Just infront of me on 2 beds/1 umbrella were allowed 4 adults with 6 kids - 10 people. This is how the beach becomes full and not so pleasant. I took this photo on sunset from above. The nature is stunning! I would give it 7 stars.
Very busy and little space. Its a narrow cove beach and the private beach bar cordons off about 90% of the beach at the water's edge, so if you want to enjoy this beach without paying their fees youre left with about 10% where everyone else is rammed in. Beautiful, gentle slope, calm waters and clean but very packed.
Beautiful beach with clear water. Sandy with smooth entry into the water, perfect for family with small kids. Unfortunately I gave 4 stars for it’s needed to pay 20€ (10€ for person) for 2 sunbeds and umbrella. It this money you get at your choice a coffee, water or a juice. So little overpriced from this point of view.
The beach is really nice with clear water, perfect for kids as the water is not that deep for a good portion of the entrance in the sea. My problem is with the price of the sunbeds that costs 17.5€ for which you get 2 drinks that costs 1 € each… way too expensive

We usually do not seek this kind of "party-crowded-beaches". But when you expect a beach packed with people, playing music and party Caribbean-like atmosphere you will get it here. The road is dusty-dusty and the car will be ready for some carwash 😉. Expect to drive the last 4km at 20 km/h. We have chosen the Vathy beach - since it has larger free area where we could have our beach tent. (Arrived at 10am) Also there is this interesting "industrial paradise" feeling from the nearby quarry and there are platforms floating in the bay from which you can jump. The water is clear, the beach is made of small snow-white marble stones which do not get hot even at noon. We spent 80€ for lunch (4 people) - so nothing out of line compared to other places. The staff was very friendly. We have spent days at different beaches where we had our privacy, here we went in with party-expectation, so we were not disappointed.
Place is picturesque with clean blue water and marble sand. You need to do minimum consumption 50€ for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella. Sea is clean and nice for swim. Staff is friendly and food is good. If you are looking for something different you need to visit this place. Much bigger sea side compared to Saliara beach which is 700m away.
For me personally, this beach is the most beautiful, the road to both of the beaches (Saliara and Porto Vathy) is not the Best, but the sand and the white marble stones are beautiful, even if it's 35°, the water is super clear, also because of the stones. The prices are a bit higher than the other beaches, but it's acceptable, because you don't pay the sunbeds.
It is totally worth coming here. The road is a bit dusty and with rocks but once you are here you forget it all. It is also very affordable thinking you get some food and drinks included in the price of the sun beds. The parking is free though you need to come early in the morning to get a place in the shadow, both for parking and sun beds. It was a plus there were trees so we could stay under the trees. The girl taking the orders is really nice and friendly and the food is delicious, especially the burger. It was really good value for the money and it had a lot of things in it. The coffee could be improved though. The frappe could have more milk in it and the warm coffee could be more tasty. The water is really nice, a deep blue as you can see in photos. There were some things in it, such as leaves or pine leaves so they could work a bit in cleaning it. Other than that you need to come and check it out by yourself.
Pretty small beach with lovely clear blue water highlighted by marble foundation mixed with sand. Being 5 km away by dirt road makes it less accessible by regular car, however it gets easily crowded. Sunbeds are charged by consumption which goes up to 40€ depending on distance to water. Showers and changing booths are available.
The most beautiful beach from Marble Beach and not so small and crowded as Saliara is. The water has a beautiful blue colour and no waves. The white colour of the beach is unique.
Great beach with clear water, deep after a few steps in but salty enough to keep you afloat even if you don't know how to swim. 3 barell like platform's to climb and jump from in the water. Amazing club sandwiches with wedges on the side. You have to keep an eye on the guy taking orders (just one guy handling the entire beach) as kids will start getting impatient when hungry. Road there is really dusty so you'll need to wash the car after, but lucky enough there's a quick car wash when you exit the bad road
The beach is very cool. I didn't eat there, but beach is good and has a clear water.

Beautiful jewelry, a variety of choice and prices. Really polite and helpful ladies at the store. Fantastic view from the little cafe in front of the factory. Wonderful experience and recommendations to everyone to visit Iris Gold.
Big shop with large selection of jewellery at wide price range. The building is elegant and the view to the beach below is stunning! Too bad the little café was still closed when we visited in May, cause enjoying coffee with this view is worth going there even if you're not interested in buying jewellery!
We had a fantastic tour of the jewelry factory, with clear and interesting explanations throughout. They have a huge variety of beautiful pieces, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was especially impressed that they helped me turn my sketch into a custom-made pendant! The view is amazing, and the whole atmosphere is very positive. Highly recommend!
An excellent selection of watches, many models on offer at excellent prices. Jewelry for every taste. A place with a special charm! The sellers are very kind and patient! Any recommendation.
High quality jewelry, prices for all pockets. Buy, sell, repair, cleaning and custom design. Large parking on the site. There is a small snack bar with a great Seaview panorama.
It is worth visiting. You can look around and buy something, there are cheap options also. The location and the cafe outside has amazing view, even only for that is worth to go and check. The opal earrings I purchased there. 💙💙
Very large store in a nice villa with many parking places. You can come here for just drinking a fresh orange juice and admire an amaizing view.
From the moment you enter the outlet you are ignored and made to feel unwelcome. I browsed the collections in the glass displays with a sales assistant right in front of me who basically ignored me (check your CCTV from today). Not one staff member went out of their way to assist me and I was pretty much the only person in store. I actually was planning to make a few purchases here but this place was so unfriendly and unwelcoming I decided to take my business elsewhere. Don't bother. They waste their marketing budget getting flyers printed and pay people to hand these flyers out at the Ferry, but when you get here you are truly disapointed by the whole experience. Avoid this place.
