Lovely sand beach for miles. One part of the beach is dog friendly where you will see lots of dogs. There is also a beach club near Pampa Plage. its a bit expenaive but worth the price, specially of you spend a full day. Accessibility It has parking near by and also has a 3 bus stops for bus line 4 so easily accessible via public transport as well. Bus line 4 from Etang de L'Or tram stop (last stop of tram line 3) to Grande travers will only cost 1 euro. Bus 606 from Place de France, Montpellier will cost 2 euros and these are better busses.
Plage du Grand Travers offers a wide stretch of fine sand and clear, shallow waters, perfect for a quick dip on a hot day. While parking along the roadside is often manageable, the beach itself tends to get quite crowded, especially in peak season. Finding a quiet spot can be challenging unless you arrive early or walk further from the main access points. The sea is refreshingly cool, which is great during the summer heat. It's a beautiful beach but better suited for those who don’t mind a lively atmosphere and a bit of a walk to claim a spot.
Great beaches along this small dune between two larger agglomerations.
A beautiful sandy beach, great place to walk and to swim, its directly reachable from Montpellier by the tram 3, than you can take the bus and in 10 min you'll be there. You cà walk as well it takes about 20 min to arrive to the beach
I have visited this beach at the sunset, the sunrise and during the day. Amazing. Just look at the practices! Also, walk around the place to see some cool places next to it. If it’s windy there’re almost no parole. You can easily park there in that case
Nice beach, with a lot of parking space right near the beach. Pad 60 leads to the beach where dogs are aloud.
Windy but the sea was perfect temperature. We had fun and peace. Nice for a city break. Parking is by the beach but not free until 5.30pm
Nice beach. Soft sand and clear water to swim

Great place to go and watch a show!we went there to watch our daughters dance show arranged by the dance school . We find the venue very big spacious .the music and the lighting arrangements were great .there are few car parks around the venue charging 80 cent per hour .
I was here for an event and the event space was very large and had a good capacity. The worst part was that there did not seem to be any air conditioning for the event, meaning that the venue was extremely hot and humid the entire time, which made it very uncomfortable to be in. If it weren't for that, it probably would have been wonderful, but it was uncomfortable enough to have severely impacted the experience for me.
Nice poker tournament with texapoker
This might be more of a review of the event organizers that used the Pasino, however we had a great swing festival there. The staff were helpful, discreet and efficient. The space is perfect for the dance festival as there were many quality spaces to use downstairs and upstairs. Calm atmosphere.
The Casino is nice to visit. The food available, is reasonable quality for a casino, and also reasonably well priced for a casino. I attended the Savoy Cup event and had a great time. The casino staff were welcoming and did their best to help me out.
You wanna spend a good time in a nice place around Montpellier ? This Casino will make yourself happy. Easy to park, easy access, clean, nice staff. On top of that, I win quite a lot there so I do recommend !
I didn't actually use the casino but as a venue for the swing dance festival Savoy Cup it was very nice and easy to get to by bus. Friendly and helpful staff.
They won’t let you in if you have an American id they want a passport and they’re all rude go spend you’re money somewhere else

Smiled, helpful personnel and air-conditioning as good that you start to sweat again :)
Easy to find. It was a pity that this office was not open when I walked in front of it. It's just a cultural difference that the lunch break is 3 hrs in France. That lovely gorilla would welcome you to this tourist information centre! Thanks to the vivid color of this statue, it is impossible to overlook!
Helpful stuff! Here you can get city map and any information about this region.
Unfriendly, didn't even attempt to speak English or be helpful in any way

(Translated by Google) Our favorite beach with kids. It's quiet, not crowded in the morning, and the sand is pleasant, so they can walk for a long time. Then it's the starting point for a stroll along the harbor, where you can either stroll or have a bite to eat.
(Translated by Google) Great beach, not too busy in the morning (until 9 a.m.) and in the evening (from 4:30 p.m.) Avoid at the end of July.
(Translated by Google) Top beach, clean with all the shops nearby (Original) Plage au top ,propre avec tous les commerces à proximité
(Translated by Google) beautiful beaches with 13 access points. but there is nothing done for people in wheelchairs to enjoy the sea. there is only one carpet to go to one of these beaches but nothing to settle down on. if there are several of you in wheelchairs you end up in Indian file on this carpet which happens frequently. the town hall had planned a beach for this purpose during the project of this beautiful Jacques Chirac promenade, but this was not followed up. for a tourist town like La Grande Motte it is a bit of a shame!!!!.
(Translated by Google) Very nice family beach, where there is everything on site to eat, with reasonable prices...but it is better in the morning, few people...

Tube & toboggan slides at a swimming complex with open-air & covered pools, plus artificial waves.

An enjoyable day out. Most (3) waterslides are outside, as is a wave pool (no waves on the day we went though), waterplay area for children with waterjets and jacuzzi with areas for sunbathing and a grassy picnic/smoking area. Inside there is another large pool, shallow pool, two small jacuzzis (one was not working when we went) a waterside and smaller children's slide. You will need tight swimwear, not swim shorts but there are vending machines in the changing area where you can buy some, bring your credit card and notes, they don't accept change. Attentive lifeguards everywhere, and all staff were helpful and friendly. There are two cafe areas, one outside and one in. Parking is height restricted, but we parked our motorhome on the road outside with no trouble.
A great place and a great space. Got caught by the French rule that swimming trunks need to show at a minimum an outline of your genitalia. No swimming shorts allowed.
Gives very poor information regarding mandatory swimwear. No refunds when they kick you out for wearing non-competition "beach shorts".
Great space, very familiar. Bring your own picnic. Feeding the seagulls shouldn t be allowed as they become very annoying.
Disaster! Do yourself a favor and ignore to go here. Dirty rooms, small spaces, no seats, bad café, lots of rules (forbidden with shorts, forbidden to wear anything except ”special” swimwear shown on signs, not even slippers on the feet on the hot ground is allowed!). Guards literally stand in front you to take off your towel in front of them. And then running for every person who wears their slippers even though they are on their way out, (even older people who have problem taking their shoes off/ remember nowhere to seat). Felt more like a military area than a child-friendly bathing place. They have of course no proper argument when asked. In addition, there are signs that you have to shower before wearing your swimwear, just that the only shower areas are all public not separated for men and women. How are they thinking? By the way, there is not a place I would call "water park" just for the access of two slides! Plus many times they close areas due to technical problems. Just go to the beach!!!
Is so good place for enjoy with the family. Is so big. Has some different swimming pools With waves, toboggan . They have jacuzzi too . And even in winter you can go cause there is a covered space (toboggan too)
The sport swimming pool was turned into paddling pool, so no possibility to swim. No refund, of course.

It is a perfect place if you want to go to the beach. Plenty of place, clean water, numerous activities(beach football, beach volleyball, kite, jets ki, surf etc.). The bars are great, supermarkets are really close by foot so and you can use hérault trasnport to get back to the city. Bus 606.
Beautiful beach with lots of space and soft sand. The water is clear for a nice swim
I’ve only been there once in the evening, but it was really nice. Mostly families and older people and the beach is very expansive.
Tourist land built in the 70's.. will visit again on day time..very interesting..the beach is gorgeous..big marina.. softest sand...
It was amazing that the water was great. There were waves that you could float over, and it was fun
Enjoyed our nice walk along the beach and the evening market. Super clean!
Excellent beach very nice sand and warm too
Great soft light coloured beach. Very relaxed environment.

(Translated by Google) A big joke, after staying there for a good 30 minutes looking for this center on foot, we found nothing and nothing indicates the center, we just saw slides and until today I have never seen one. turtle go on a slide and even less go to a spa, everything is closed and even if it was open, I saw photos of the center which sold the dream and well nothing resembles it, there are only slides, tennis courts and buildings under construction, and at the risk of repeating myself nothing indicates the center, sorry for the small star I have to put it otherwise I would have put 0 stars, so if this center is good at this place I must have missed a secret passage, or I missed the turtles playing tennis. Moreover, on Google maps, nothing indicates whether it is open or closed. Too bad I would have liked to see these little turtles, and if I misunderstood how to go to meet them I apologize but there is nothing to indicate this.
(Translated by Google) Great experience, very good explanation. Thank you for this visit! (Original) Super expérience, très bonne explication. Merci pour cette visite!

(Translated by Google) Great experience with Clara. It managed to interest both the little ones (my 5 year old daughter) and the less young...and this at a minimum of 34 degrees. You will meet at the entrance to the big blue area (swimming pool), there is a sign. Best wishes. We will come back to see the new premises on the Grande Motte. Cool and cozy atmosphere! Service very thoughtful and good vibe. Fun
staff is great the food is good for a beach place. I recommend it.
Good beach destination. Sun loungers and food, drinks good. Not portentous in anyway.
