We walked in to the wine bar without a reservation (it was October 8) and were warmly welcomed by Denis. He was wonderful- friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We did a tour, tasting of three wines and a small sampling of three cheeses for 25 euro a person. Although a little expensive the quality of the wine, the atmosphere and service made it worth the price. The view from the tasting room is beautiful overlooking the sea.

A muddled collection of maritime records plus some interesting photographs. There is no attempt to tell the story or explain the history of the seafaring port. Some displays carry English translations but many don't. We could find no mention of the local shipbuilding at Skvar. At 5 Euro entrance not very good value.

The maritime traditions of the city Orebic are emphasized at almost every step. Therefore, we expected a visit to this museum to be exciting. I am sorry to say that the museum is very small (about 300m2), the exhibition is modest and, worst of all, there are no descriptions of the exhibits in English. The museum staff is helpful and tries to answer visitors' questions. Despite this the overall rating is low. Instead of this museum, I recommend visiting the Franciscan monastery on the nerby hill. There is a similar museum inside the monastery.
