Lovely park in Guardamar, where you can walk around and watch the red squirrels, peacocks and ducks. There are children's play areas and ponds. LP mi
Plenty of place to play for children, Lots of nature and space to walk or relax. beautiful peacocks and other animals to enjoy.
Great place to visit. It has lots of tree cover. Great to see the wildlife
Went on a weekend. Many people, a lot of bird poop. Was fun to see ducks.
Excellent. Weather wasn't too great so we took the little fella down to here for a run around and to feed the birds. Thoroughly enjoyed it, very nicely laid out and they even have turtles! The wee man loved it and so did we. A couple of play parks too to enjoy.
A really nice park and you have to check it out, good for a date afternoon
A beautiful little park placed in such a calm environment. There are a lot of different types of birds and they live free and together with each other. You find playgrounds and small waterfall. Absolutely adorable.
It’s a lovely place to have a nice walk

Wonderful park going throughout of the city up do sea beaches. Great dunes to walk around.
⭐️⭐️⭐️Super duper honest review⭐️⭐️⭐️ Firstly, it’s a MUST go if you visit Guardamar del segura, why? Because not only will you get to walk through a beautiful path ( couple kilometres) that is parallel to the beach , but also leads you to the pier. You’ll be able to take gorgeous photos that look like the Sahara desert in some areas. Basically it’s a long path with bridges that you can go on that lead to the beach , and on those you will get the chance for some great views , privacy and photos. Great place for walking dogs, there are toilets once in a while along the path ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recommend to go closer to the sunset , you’ll get some incredible views. Great for couples ( privacy )😌, dogs , kids and whatever else 🌝
Huge and beautiful park right next to a lovely beach. Tons of different walks to do, on paths and off around the greenery.
There is no other park like this one. The views are spectacular beyond imagination! You get everything you can ever dream of - the best beaches, amazing dunes, even a small jungle style forest. Pine forest mixed with exotic palms, sand in the middle of the forest. It's like Narnia, only better!
This park is best for the views alone at the end of the walk. Ideal for walking or cycling. An interesting archaeological site half way round.
Fun park, my daughter loves to watch all the birds, ducks peacocks and wild life.... definitely recommend this park
Very nice walk through the park down to the beach, stop for a coffee at the top, afterwards.
It's the best track to walk, the nature around the path are beautiful!

G-o-r-g-e-o-u-s ☀️☀️☀️ This place is fab for everyone , especially couples.. go before sunset ! Check ur phone in weather app and see when the sun will set, grab ur friend or partner or kids whatever and go enjoy the views .. there’s a few benches up there. You can Chill for a bit , free entrance obviously ( nobody guarding the thing ) and of course be respectful of the ancient site :)) enjoy! Ps: hold ur small kids if you’re coming with them, some areas will be dangerous. When we went there was a small kid laying on the canon ( small canon beside the wall) but yeah could easily fall off it and roll down the hills … :))) maybe don’t put ur kids up on the canon
Super cool castle! We climbed up the castle with no struggle - have been to many hard-to-climb castle towers, but this one may have been the best! The views were awesome and just stunning! Would recommend if you're a tourist exploring the city!
Very clean, looked after area. Accessible for wheelchair, beautiful views from the castle walls. Open 09:00-21:00 everyday
Great views up at the castle with 360 degree views of Guardamar with a lovely walk up to the castle through the gardens although a very steep walk. Only attempt this early morning or late evening as it gets very hot up there as it's a big open space. The castle itself is going through some restoration work and have some very knowledgeable tour guides on standby.
There is not much left from the castle but surrounding walls and awsome views on the city, sea and mountains. Great place to visit at sun set time.
Worths visit with some great views across Guardamar del Segura - tourist office seems be closed in the winter months. There are some trails around the Castillo to get some good views of the ruins too
I may have been a bit harsh giving just 3 stars, the fort was free to enter after all. There is a small car park just outside if you choose to navigate the maze of one way streets to drive to the top and ignore the signs pointing to the castle when the road at the top is blocked. Basically the castle is just ramparts and a viewpoint now. There's one old cannon that is completely our of period and a couple of information boards. The museum/display room was locked when we visited.
Nice view of Guardamar, the sea, beaches and the nearby cities all the way to the mountains. Takes a bit of walking up from the parking lot.

It's always a great experience going to the townhall. First we registered for Empadronamiento and took us just 30 minutes. And then getting a new copy only took a minute. The staff were always nice and the offices are spacious.
Very helpful staff. I'm not speaking Spanish, but got full support in English. The offices are spacious and clean. Central location with plenty amenities (banks, cafes etc) just across the road.
We actually went to the Moors and Christians parade which was amazing.
My experiences at the town hall have always been positive. The staff have been very kind, patient and helpful given my limited Spanish. Before going I always write down in Spanish what I am trying to do. It's easy enough to do with Google translate.
When to get our padron to register for our covid vaccination, very helpful lady helped us
My experience of the staff is very positive. They are always very pleasant& helpful.
Always helpful, seems to be at least one english speaker in each department.
Awful services given in the municipality. Looks like tourism or not, they just couldn't care less.

Really interesting exhibit on the history of the town. If you love pottery this is the place for you.... Some stunning pieces of work.
Very interesting little museum, quite a lot of information boards had English descriptions but not all! Free entry though, so that was good! No attached parking but we managed to park in a nearby street!
Great museum. Friendly staff. Interesting exhibits 👌
Free entry, very interesting and liked the archeology exhibitions.
Small but very cozy. Just what the Little Explorer's curiosity needs.
Fantastic little museum, only costs a euro, kids go free and you get a ticket to go to the house of the great engineer Alexander Mira, make sure you have a QR code scanner on your phone as the entire museum is interactive, well worth a visit, the photos are the veiw from Mira's weather station
If your interested in the history of Guardamar dating back to 1241, then it's well worth a visit. On the day I went, it was a guided tour with the guide very informative. From here, we then visited the castle.
Enjoyable little museum. A lot of the exhibits have English translations which was great for me and the audio descriptions were helpful.

Located on the southeast coast of the province, it is part of the Vega Baja del Segura region, and is quite close to the towns of Crevillente and Orihuela. It is known mainly because the mouth of the Segura River is located in its municipal area, although it is also known for its pine forest, planted at the beginning of the 20th century to stop the advance of the mobile coastal dunes. In terms of tourism, it has all the ingredients to be one of the main tourist enclaves in the province of Alicante: its beaches bathed in the turquoise blue of the Mediterranean, its natural spaces, among which the forest stands out (mainly pine trees, but also There are eucalyptus and other species of trees and plants) created by the engineer Mira in 1930 to contain the advance of the coastal dunes and lastly its old town with the church of San Jaime and the Castle. In the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, which we can consider the center of the town, and in its vicinity, we can find good bars and restaurants to have tapas and taste the rich cuisine of the area. From here we can go directly along the street of the engineer Mira, between the Alfonso XIII park and the Reina Sofía park, towards the beach, where about 600 meters away we will find very good restaurants such as Valentí Playa.
