bello! lovely little park w local stone made 100% it does show a lot about their local culture. nice to go and get pictures but not to Relax and do picnics just in case it's just a small art folk display in stones.
What an amazing place. Reminds me of Gaudi in Spain - super cool, unique and authentic.
A beautiful and unique park full of culture and art! Every corner tells a story — from the detailed stonework to the statues of iconic Huanca figures. It’s a peaceful place to walk, take photos, and learn about the local traditions.
Memorable sweet home to hang out around and to know a little bit of identity.
Well looked after, not only the craftsmanship is remarkable but you can tell the attention to detail was a priority when designing this one of a kind Park. The flowers are in full bloom, the retama is back in the region and the sunshine is but the cherry on top of a wonderful calm place inside a busy city.
This place is fantastic, bring some food and chill for an hour or a day. Or get some food there, little snacks. If it had water flowing in the “streams” it would be perfect. Definitely go if you are in Huancayo

I love this Square in Peru and many other places it's a must to go x
Very beautiful park with lots to do in the area.
Definitely the primary photo op of the city, especially in front of the main cathedral. All the major restaurants and tourist companies circle the plaza. Don't forget to catch the flag-raising ceremony here nearly every Sunday morning.
Awesome place to visit.
An historic place, anchored by a Catholic Cathedral that looks to be several hundred years old, Huancayo is a busy little city in Northern Peru. The elevation is more than 10,000 meters, over two miles in elevation. Coming from sea level, I couldn't catch my breath. Very worth experiencing.
Beautiful place and safe
The park and church had a big fence with tarp around it. Not able to enter or see much. The locals say it has been under repair for 6 months. Wish we had a chance to see it at its glory.

A good place to know if you are in Huancayo, this tour you must take it. You can see and know more about the pre Incas history and touch the walls , perfect and you can see two old threes inside.
Wariwilka is an unusual small site worth visiting if you have any interest in Wari or the Middle Horizon. The main compound has been extensively reconstructed, and unfortunately it is not obvious what stonework is original and what is rebuilt. Some deep pits inside the main compound show that some walls extend over two meters below the current surface. Areas outside the main compound also contain deeply buried walls that are invisible now; the reconstructed compound is only part of the original site. The site presents plenty of archaeological and architectural puzzles to consider. The small museum is nicely presented and shows some interesting and impressive artifacts. It is also a pleasant spot, with a grassy interior enlivened by confusing bits of walls and partially shaded by two enormous, gnarled molle trees. An archaeological underground channel drains water from the site through a little bath or well just outside the main compound. We we told that if a couple wishes to remain together forever, they should drink from that well. We were also told that people feared the well and that a kind of bad spirit could sieze people or animals who drank from it. Make your own choice!

Better than Real Plaza. Has more space, different stores, but the same food choices for the most part.
In some aspects is the best mall in town, because they have free games for kids under 1 meter and the hallways are wide and nice to walk. On the other hand the parking lots are difficult to enter and in a wrong disposition. In general is ok.
It has got many options to eat, some more attractions than nearby malls, and the parking is free, so you don't have to buy anithing or pay for the time you stay in. Also it has got facilities and elevators that are much wider in case you go with a wheel chair or a baby stroller
A good place. All the things ypu need are there. But there are good restaurants and the place it is very quiet. Also in the garage, that is on the roof, the view is amazing.
A wonder Mall very close to the downtown. Lots of stores inside as well as a supermarket and a hardware store. It has restaurants specialized in gourmet dishes and local ones too.
The newer of the 2 malls in Huancayo, walking distance from the other one. They currently have a mini train exhibition on the 2nd floor. Decent restaurant options and food court. Tottus supermarket can be found on most of the first floor. Loved when they had the temporary skating rink.
Great place where you can find lots of things.
