Palmas is a lovely hidden place close to Florianópolis. There are a few places to eat at the beach. Frozen food. Ocean water. You may skip it and spend more time in Joaquina.
Bad, very bad. Avoid this place. Fake publicity, bad roads, no parking, bad restaurants, .

Warm and cristal clear water. Quietter place on week days, many boats over the weekends as the bay is a secure place for them to anchor. One of my favourite places around this gorgeous piece of earth.
One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been!!!
I always go here by boat and not by car to actually spend the day on the beach, but it's a really excellent place with calm clear water. The Bay will fill up with a ton of boats and some of those boats will play loud music as if they are at a nightclub. It's a little annoying but for the scenery and calm, clear water, it's worth it. Without the babacas I would give it 5 stars.
Awesome place. Clean beach and water. But watch out for the traffic. .. plan your trip well!!!
Best place to hang around with a boat or jet ski
Cool coast line braced by nature.

This amazing beach is a special place to bring the family. The water is very clean and the waves not very strong or dangerous. The spot is not very good for surf but is well frequented by kite surfers and standup paddles. In the sand people use to play volleyball and football. There are other preserved beachs in the coast that can be visited by foot. In the peninsula there are even other options.
Beautiful Beach - not so crowded, very family friendly

It was closed when we went and we only saw the outside, which is not very well preserved but is worth seeing for its historical value. Interestingly, whale oil was used in the mortar used in the construction. (Translated by Google) The Nossa Senhora da Piedade Church, located in the Armação da Piedade neighborhood, began construction in 1738 and was completed in 1745. Built in Portuguese colonial style, it maintains the characteristics of 18th-century churches, with a triangular pediment. Listed by the State, it is considered the first church built in Santa Catarina, in the 18th century, still using whale oil in the mortar, and is located next to the ruins of the old Armação da Piedade. In 1839, Armação da Piedade was incorporated into the Navy. It is currently a fishing village that mainly preserves traditional aspects of artisanal fishing. (Translated by Google) From what we researched, it is possibly the oldest church in SC! However, it was closed, we don't know what it looks like inside. But the outside looks abandoned, all dirty and peeling, a shame, because it is beautiful! It makes for beautiful photos. The beach in front is beautiful, but I looked at the bathing conditions later... it was desperately dirty, how sad!
(Translated by Google) The place is beautiful, with lush nature, it's a shame that the church is not being preserved with the attention it deserves, since it was the first church to be built in Santa Catarina.
