I pay a visit to their restaurant once a year during my annual trip to Ærø and I always have a pleasant time. They changed the menu and I actually much prefer the grill with a salad. The beers of course are great.
Spending a couple of days at beautiful Ærø. Decided early to visit the local brewery and we found out they offer beer tasting. It was a very interesting 75 minutes where we got to know the history of the brewery and tested 5 different beers. We had their delicious smørrebrød as lunch after the tasting session. It is not cheap, but I can really recommend this place.
The setting of this brewery is very cosy and beautiful. The draft beers are very good and the staff is very dedicated. In summer you are able to sit in the garden enjoying a cool draft under the trees.
This is a great small brewery - the only one on the island and well worth a visit! We rented bikes and cycled here, so the beers at the end of our journey were well earned! They had an incredibly good walnut beer on tap (even better than the bottled version), so be sure to get that if you can! We brought some picnic snacks so didn't eat their food, but it looked good as well.
Beautiful location and good tasting beers
Absolutely love this place. They have a great selection of beer, and their signature beer, a walnut bock, is worth the trip to the brewery by itself. The food from the cozy café is very nice, and although a little bit on the expensive side, is good value.
This is the best small brewery in Denmark! Everything is organically made, and their beers have fantastic flavor. Their beers were featured in a Rick Steves' Europe episode. Mr. Seidenfaden (the owner) has a great thing going here!
Great beer and great smørrebrød (open sandwich on rye bread) 👌

A beautiful peaceful churchyard with amazing gardens for each gravestone.
Lovely church, well kept and full of history. The grounds are so beautifully kept. What a special place.
Not worth the drive. Yes it is from 1250 and it does does have a special "triptych" altar, and special painted walls, but I was disappointed.

(Translated by Google) Nice church, but completely absurd that it rings every hour, including half-hourly strikes, throughout the day, even at night. It actually makes it completely impossible for neighbors - and there are many - to sleep uninterrupted through the night. The Church Council, or whoever is responsible, should certainly take this up for consideration. (Original) Pen kirke, men fullstendig absurd at den ringer hver time, inklusive halvtimes-slag, gjennom hele døgnet, også om natten. Nice to see so many ships in a bottle
Interesting and a little crazy hobby
(Translated by Google) A peculiar experience! Came during opening hours (14:00, 30 July) but found the museum locked. The custodian was rude and declared that if he let us in, he knew for sure he wouldn't get off until after 6pm! (We had only intended a small visit of 2 - 3 quarters). His explanations for why he was closed in the middle of opening hours, in the middle of the holiday period, became more and more meaningless. If you want a holiday experience à la Basil from "Halløj på Badehotellet", you have come to the right place. But we didn't see the bottle ship collection. Birgit and Niels (Original) En ejendommelig oplevelse! Kom i åbningstiden (kl. 14:00, 30. juli), men fandt museet låst.

Beautiful church in the countryside. It has a rich history from the 17th century. Good to spend a few minutes there while visiting Aero.
Wow! Views are stunning! Prepare for lots of steps down to the sea.
Dramatic and elemental, a near-perfect location for a couple shoot on Ærø. I have photographed many couples here at different times of the day and evening–and it feels different each time: the colour and texture of the sea, the dramatic landscape, the wind and play of clouds and light. I would recommend comfortable shoes (and not heels) while planning an elopement shoot.
Very beautiful place, wild and relaxing. And - comfortable there are benches with tables, toilet with changing place for babies and suitable for handicapped people. If is possible to walk down to the beach, just you should be attentive - curious cows can ask you a question)))
It was a beautiful place and the toilet was nice and clean
A very peaceful spot to go in the off-season when when you can appreciate the silence and the sound of the Wind
The place is like out of a painting. It's nice to spend a warm afternoon here.

(Translated by Google) Then you finally got the opportunity to visit Ærøskøbing. A couple of mates and I had been looking forward to seeing the Old Shipyard, but we never got around to it. When we arrive (at 12:10) there is a handwritten sign stating that they would open at 12:00, when we ask if they haven't opened yet, we didn't get much of a response. We then find a poorly located main entrance, then a man comes and says that they have closed for dinner, and then closes the door right in front of our faces. Really bad service if you ask me? Gives one star because we didn't get to see the place, don't keep to the times and on top of that a bad service is provided. Bad experience. (Original) Så fik man endelig muligheden for at besøge Ærøskøbing.
(Translated by Google) Nice place where you can unleash your creative side in a fun and different way. You can e.g. forge a hook in the forge, play with copper and tie bracelets and key rings. However, there is not much of a museum about the Old Shipyard. Only a few signs and videos that tell a little about the yard's history. Highly recommended!! Absolutely sweet and lovely hotel, restaurant, and Café! Everyone that works there is super friendly and it truly feels like everyone loves to work there! Nice rooms, great food and amazing service <3
På Torvet is a lovely place to stay when in Ærø. Every staff person was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are extremely spacious, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. The location - right on the town square - can’t be beat.
We celebrated our wedding here and were thrilled! Gunnar and his team are very professional, organised and they did everything they could to make our wishes for the food and the celebration come true. The food was excellent - every single course ! The service is friendly, attentive and accommodating. The rooms are lovingly furnished with a lot of style - modern and cosy at the same time. For my next stay in Ærøskøbing this will definitely be my accomodation of choice again!
“Clomp clomp clomp” went the stomping of the guests in the room above us all night long. I don’t know if the ceiling and floors are paper thin or a particularly energetic guest was staying above us but man, it was NOT conducive to a good sleep. Amazing location though and to be honest there’s not much choice on the island. So if you stay here, push hard for some kind of upstairs room and avoid the ground floor big time.
We celebrated our wedding here, it was a great choice! Awesome food, professional staff, nice location. Not cheap, but totally worth the money! 100% recommendation 👍 Thanks for hosting our wedding ❤️
Located on the quant island Aero in Denmark, just off the main square. Charming and clean. Breakfast included. Bright and sunny rooms, so bring your sleep mask in the summer months!
An oasis of beauty centrally located inside this spectacularly romantic village. Our room # 7 is upstairs at the end of a plant-lined cobbled walk and near to a gleaming white church. Everything is a feast for the eye- huge white painted beams under vaulted ceiling, Two sets of French doors leading to a private terrace, pretty dragonfly wallpaper on one wall, dark charcoal grey on another wall, modern white and charcoal gray tiled bathroom. Quiet and private. The morning breakfast in the main hotel is exquisite. Highly recommend for a relaxing and comfortable visit.
So very pretty room but for the price, room service should come and clean and make the beds. I was sneezing from the dust of the room by the 2nd and third night. No change of sheets, towels nothing. Beautiful but honestly I hated the dust, had swollen eyes as I am allergic. We left the room clean and maintained but dust is dust .
