The sand is so fine and white but lots of stones everywhere. Don't expect the turquoise waters from the Mediterranean of course. Latvia has some of the most well-equipped beaches I've ever seen...bike racks, benches, football cages, lifeguards, playground for kids and adults alike, changing rooms, toilets, volleyball courts, ...great for families and beyond. No boardwalk or real restaurants located on the beach but maybe it's a way to preserve the beach.

Just beautiful. Long sand Beach. Clean. Playgrounds for Kids. If you seek some peace just walk along and you will calm down very easy. No matter what season you are visiting - always take a scarf with you. The wind is sometimes mind-blowing ;)

My girl liked the old school jewelry and the boy liked the weaponry. EUR 14 for a family ticket (two adults and children of 3 and 5 years old) is fair price I believe. Small museum, that is why good for families with children. Being in museum you will know more about Latvia history and see how the building was used during different periods of Latvian history. For disabled people and for small children there is modern elevator.

We visited the Livorian order castle on a Tuesday and were a bit disappointed. The castle has no information about the Livorian knights, just paintings and old items. We paid 10 euros for a family ticket.

Really great place for children - 5 stars! However security staff (on children playground!) need a have some pedagogical training. Their approach to children scaries them. Additionally the old guy (who should be wearing clown cloths or be more children oriented), is a bit aggressive with its duties. After being there for 1,5h with children I saw him reacting against children behaving vs. Playground quite aggressively in result people were leaving. And thing the guy speaks by default Russian (even know some notions of LV/LT) and no other language (EN, DE, FR etc). This person should be moved to different duties ASAP!

It's a good small water park especially for smaller kids as the pools are not very deep and slides and tubes don't go very fast. Two hot tubes, four or five saunas. Mixed-gender garderobe, which is a plus when visiting with children. So all in all it's good, but.. Adult ticket is 18, kids half of it and for 60+ euros it's a little overpriced. Especially when considering that the ticket is for 2 hours and every extra half hour is +2 euros extra.

I wish i lived nearer. Would go every day if I could. An insane amount of things to do for little ones of all ages. People were lovely and my daughter had the best time of her life. You can literally spend an entire day playing there.

Nice place for kids and it's fully available after reconstruction. Multiple playgrounds for children from different age groups, performance scene and WC located in the park area. The spot is on outskirts of Ventspils but it's worth a drive if you're travelling with small kids

Lots and lots of climbing, sliding entertainments for kids. All is clean and very secure even for the youngest ones. Highly recommend to spend half a day in there.

The toboggan track was great. Only 5 euros - tickets can be purchased only at that till not at the main till. The trampoline boat was great as well. Went with adult group on Sunday, July. Still a lot of space in car parks (free of charge). No separate flat entrance fee in the park . Waiting time to get on toboggan was about 30min. Largest toboggan track in Baltics

Nice place. Was there first on rainy day and then many attractions were closed. Few days later better wheater and it was little crowdy. Children had day ticket and had lots of fun. 1 parent could go with the smallest child for free on 6 attactions. I missed sometimes a shadow full space. Catapult was for sure the best but only one ride per day.

Free entry. Good priced pizza (not the best as like most places in Latvia.. loaded with cheese). 7 euros for a complete ticket for my 7 year old son. Off he went exploring all the rides on offer for his age. More available for older children like climbing the tree tops and rolling in a ball down the hill (mountain). If you fancy a mini challenge climb the hill! The views are incredible you can see the entire town. Great day out especially on a good weather day.
