A superb gem of a location. We are English heritage members and came for a day out and we weren't disappointed. The visitors centre was welcoming and accommodating. When we entered the castle grounds the views were stunning and the buildings were well preserved and sympathetically restored. We stopped for lunch and had sandwiches and snacks and my 10 year old son ate for free when we spent over £15. An amazing offer. The highlight was a guided tour from Neil of the gatehouse. Neil was extremely knowledgeable about the castle and gatehouse and how it played its part in English history. He was truly excellent and a credit to English heritage. It has been a thoroughly enjoyable day and we will absolutely visit again, and I have no hesitation in recommending Kenilworth Castle for a day trip and a tour by the wonderful Neil Hall!.
Friendly helpful staff. Fascinating building, and luckily 2 of our group knew the history of this Castle. Visited the cafe. This was a beautiful building. Staff were good, if not a little slow, maybe short staffed & we were quite a big group. I’d recommend a visit. All areas were easy to walk up. Views were beautiful.
Well restored and presented historical castle and grounds. Very informative and interesting, especially with the Wicked Game art installation. Not very accessible for wheelchairs due to all the stairs to the levels in the Castle, but good access to the site, garden, cafe and toilet. Could do with more toilets!
Lovely English Heritage site. Biggest ruins we have been to - lots to explore, quite a few different sections where you can climb to the top. Well maintained, clean and tidy site. Really enjoyed the superb sculpture display currently at the site. Would highly recommend.
Although the park is small, it has very complete facilities. Once you enter the park, you can use the tour guide to learn about the history of the place. There is an exhibition hall that shows the entire castle from construction to the final demolition and it is very interesting. I also recommend everyone to visit the GateKeeper Tower. It is very well preserved the most luxurious furniture and furnishings, you can feel the luxurious atmosphere of the time. Although the castle itself has been severely damaged, you can still imagine the style and living conditions of those who lived here during the guided tour.
Even on a day of mixed weather it was a great visit! So many places around the ruin to explore and I enjoyed the views. All very well cared for and well laid out. The exhibitions inside were also interesting and gave more information about the history of the place. Well worth the entrance fee if you buy in advance which included an audio guide. I didn't go to the cafe or use the car parking, so can't say much about those facilities. The toilets were a bit cramped but fine. Kenilworth itself was also a great place to visit.
What a lovely, historical place this is. Well worth a visit and nice to use our membership as not many English heritage have facilities and such a nice cafe. The stairwells had been replaced so that it was easy to walk all over this castle remains, right to the very top. The garden was pretty too.
This is a truly beautiful and spectacular English Heritage site which needs to be seen. Visited here Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. Arrived about 2pm and was very busy due to the good weather and a major event on at the Castle which was great to see. After last visiting here about 10 years ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see how much time and money has been invested into this historic site. You have the Castle, Gate House, Stables and the Gardens to look around during your visit. So you'll need at least a good 2 to 3 hours to make sure you take it all in. The grounds have lots of information boards around the site for you to read which helps immerse yourself back what it would have been like in the past. The site has shop, a café and toilet facilities. There is also a large English Heritage car park. Staff we spoken to were all pleasant and friendly. This should be on your tick list of Castles to see.

We had a wonderful tour of the house - the tour guide was passionate, knowledgeable, and funny and we learned so much! It's nice that there is a cafe on site and the estate and grounds are so beautiful. Very rich history and although the tour lasts an hour it flew by and we were engaged the whole time. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Lovely building with a fascinating story and vast fields to wonder around in. We visited on a Monday morning and joined the tour at 11, so it was only the two of us with the tour guide! The history of the place was made even more interesting by the animated style of storytelling and interesting facts included in the recount. After the tour, we had a cup of coffee and a slice of cake in the tearooms in the bottom of the building which also features a small collection of world war memorabilia and information on the role the Abbey played. Really recommend!
They totally unexpected delight. Entering the grounds from a back road close to the A46 you’re greeted by hundreds of metres of trees and a beautiful bridge over the Avon, when you park you’re near a 1000 year-old oak tree. The buildings are beautiful and the setting absolutely stunning. Hugely enjoyed our afternoon tea which included a delicious savoury option. (cheese scone., cream cheese and onion chutney) Not many visitors as it’s not well advertised so walking around outside we felt like we own the place. Huge history with documents stretching back to the 12th century .
Pleasantly surprised: The reason I have said pleasantly surprised is because approx 2 years ago we had a poor Afternoon Tea in the orangery. However, things have definitely changed as my partner and I have just had the loveliest day with thanks to a Wowcher gift voucher. We started off in the tea room with a delicious and freshly made afternoon tea followed by a stroll around the grounds. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable throughout our visit.
We had a lovely afternoon tea ! The staff were very professional and kind. My favourite was the scones, very yummy. The food is quite filling ! The grounds are beautiful. It’s a good value for money.
A perfect experience, lovely attentive professional staff everywhere. The tour guide Paul was amazing the best tour guide I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet, very knowledgeable, entertaining and funny. The team in the orangery were very good, afternoon tea really good, fresh and plenty of it. Our visit couldn’t have been better…..highly recommend!
Was treated to an afternoon tea experience here by a friend for my birthday. It was perfect, the staff were all absolutely incredible making sure we were topped up on coffees and great hospitality all round, nothing was too much trouble, food was delicious and was everything you could’ve wanted for an afternoon tea. Tea room was lovely and cool on a very warm day and there was a lift for me and my pram. The grounds are beautiful and was very quiet! We enjoyed exploring before filling up on scones & cakes! Only thing to note is there are steps scattered around so someone with disabilities might struggle but it’s a wonderful place.
Firstly, I did not opt for the combined house and garden ticket but took the gardens only. Why? Because you have to take a guided tour of the house which I rarely want under any circumstances when I am out and about and certainly, I could see no reason why I had to be part of a group at Stoneleigh. I have no objection to viewing clocks, plasterwork, portraits of worthy folk, rapiers, china, etc but I do like to do it at my own pace and in my own company when asked for £8 entrance fee. So, I paid £8 for the grounds only. The River Avon sweeps graciously past the house. It is lovely. The house is a bit of a brute, impressing but not overly impressive. The orangery is elegant, the walks charming much in the way I am sure Jane Austen found them charming. It is interesting that Jane A modelled Mansfield Park, her most social ànd oppressive novel, on Stoneleigh. I also noted that while the river, managed by weirs and sluices to glide by, was home to swans, a cormorant, geese, damsel flies etc, I saw no fish despite perching over railings and balustrades for many minutes. Indeed parts of the river looked dead. The tea room is fine but a bit quaint as were the clientele when I was there. Finally, for some reason, I couldn't help wondering how many slaves had to be transported and sold to pay for all this building and landscaping. I don't know why I asked this. I am not usually so radical. Perhaps it was because, as I said, the actual building is a bit of an imposing brute and that made me ask why, how, wherefore? So, a mixed review but if you are in the area and have the time, do visit. It is a fine example of the English idyll.

We were very lucky to visit Kenilworth on a warm and sunny day so very much enjoyed the walk up from the station up to and across Abbey Fields. It’s obviously a very popular place with locals, particularly dog walkers as we made lots of new friends on our walk. It would be the perfect place for a picnic or just to sit on one of the benches to listen to the bird song and marvel at Nature. A great asset to the town.
Nice park to visit although wheelchair access wasn’t the best especially for manual wheelchairs due to uneven gravel type paths or needing to drive on grass on some areas. I managed it ok in a powered wheelchair though. I found the graveyard interesting as some very old graves. Great for a dog walk and a little stream to have a dip in too. Picnic table area was clean and busy as I went on a Sunday sunny afternoon.
The moment I arrived, I was Surrounded by gentle greenery and open skies, it’s just half an hour away from coventry. The field itself is beautifully maintained, with wide, open spaces perfect for long walks or simply lying back and watching the clouds drift by. There’s something incredibly grounding about being here—the soft rustle of the trees, the distant birdsong, and the feeling of space and stillness. It’s the kind of place that pushes you gently into the present moment without trying. What I appreciated most was how welcoming this place feels. Whether you’re visiting alone for quiet reflection, walking with a partner, or bringing a family picnic, it seems to accommodate every kind of peaceful visit. There are benches thoughtfully placed along the paths, ideal for sitting with a book or just enjoying the view. I even saw a few locals strolling with their dogs, adding a charming sense of community to the surroundings. In a fast-moving world, Abbey Field is a reminder of how healing simplicity can be. It’s not flashy or overly crowded —it’s natural, calm, and effortlessly beautiful. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and reconnect with nature, I highly recommend spending time here.
Great 'lung' for Kenilworth! Perfect place for almost everyone...I say almost because there's quite a bit of renovation happening at the moment. (The swimming baths have been demolished!) Nevertheless, it's a super place to get some fresh, exercise and play for the kids. The pond is a highlight with the ducks and geese and other birds. Also a ideal place to walk the dogs...
One of our favourite walks around here, lots of open space, a lake to walk around, small play area and beautiful views of the castle. Free parking for a short time which is great. Looking forward to seeing what it's like when the new sports facility is open.
Apart from the building works for the new sports centre it's always been a lovely place to walk with a lake of sorts (a large body of water that comes from a river running through it) there are swings for the kids and in the middle of the fields you can hardly hear the traffic. It's got a serene feeling about it so go there to relax. 👍😉✔️🙏
A great green space in the heart of Kenilworth. Plenty of opportunity to explore the different areas with something for every need. Kids play area, ancient Abbey ruins, peaceful church and cemetery, Lake for feeding ducks(corn), and grasslands or many veteran trees to admire. Plenty of opportunity to engage with nature, exercise or just relax in a bench and watch the world go by. Very nicely managed for both recreation and environment.
A really lovely landscaped expanse of fields in the centre of Kenilworth, perfect for leisurely walks. There are plenty of paved and cut walkways crisscrossing the site, multiple seats overlooking the site, a swimming pool, tennis courts, outside gym and children's play area and the odd information board giving details of the history of the grounds. There are even a few remnants of the original abbey to be seen. A really lovely location on a warm summer's day or evening.

A real gem. We was recently introduced to this theatre, and have been 5 times now, just can’t get enough. Every time, we get the sense of warmth and friendliness from the staff/volunteers with each production being spot on. Well done, and see you again soon 😁
Brilliant theatre. Great plays. 120 seats plenty of room. Has a disabled door, bar and coffee served and ice creams. Due to the size it feels like the actors are playing just for you. Friendly. Value for money.
My first time there and I'll definitely go again. The actors never faltered and really portrayed their parts well. All the staff were very pleasant and the theatre itself is kept immaculate. A lovely evening out.
A really nice small theatre. Makes great use of the space available for the public areas. Auditorium is compact and seating fairly snug but overall a nice place to watch good local theatre.
Great show in a small cosy local theatre.
Lovely small theatre, comfortable seating friendly staff. Enjoyed an author interview event held by Kenilworth books.
Really good little theatre. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Very impressed with how it's run, in all areas. I would recommend this theatre very highly.
Can recommend the friendly helpful team at the Priory, we regularly visit this theatre, great productions by the team. On this occasion to see On Golden Pond ,my husband needed assistance as he was in a wheelchair, from booking the tickets to arriving at the theatre and being able to watch the production, staff could not have done more to make us feel comfortable and at ease about the whole situation, everything was made very accessible for us. Many thanks and appreciation for everything.

Had a wonderful spa day here with my friend as a late Christmas treat. We are definitely going to be doing it again when they next have an offer on. 2 treatments were the icing on the cake after a lovely lunch after a swim and steam room. Staff were lovely and made you feel very welcome. Just for info children are allowed in from 3pm so get you swimming in before then.
Absolutely amazing treatments, could of easily ending up as a puddle on the floor. If you want a spa that lives up to the description then this is the place to go.
I enjoyed a wonderful hot stone massage at Chesford Grange spa. The therapist Bhoo was excellent and I felt totally relaxed and refreshed after the massage. I would highly recommend this treatment.
I came here the other week for a spa experience with my girlfriend the other week. The facilities were excellent, a young guy called Adam was really helpful and lovely behind the desk, 5* service, 5* venue, will be back again!!!
I had a girly spa day yesterday and purchased the ‘simply more’ package which included the use of spa, x2 25 min treatments OR x1 50 min treatment, glass of Prosecco and a light lunch for only £89. For what we got was a complete bargain and I have to say it was one of my top spa experience. Everything was very relaxing, treatments were amazing (I use to be a therapist myself so am normally quite fussy/picky), staff were brilliant, friendly and accommodating and to top it off the food was definitely more than a ‘light lunch’, we had the choice of a good size pizza, salad or pasta as well as a pudding. Everything was amazing and I cannot fault our experience here. Would highly recommend and we will definitely all be back.
Great day out for all the family and its free. Car park short walk from the entrance it's not cheap stay but offset by free entrance to museum.
Myself and my friend enjoyed a lovely spa day with treatments, lunch and lots of relaxing. The team were so helpful especially Louis. The lady's who gave the treatments were amazing and we both left feeling great. I would highly recommend the spa.
Firstly, we have to say thank you to Joe for his lovely welcome to the hotel, and for sorting out dietary needs for the cream tea. Also thank you Joe and Andrea for their help sorting out lunch on our last day. All the staff during our stay were courteous, and every staff member we met during our stay gave us an acknowledgement as we passed each other, which was really nice. We had to move rooms, which was very quickly resolved, after an issue with the plumbing in the bath. This wasn't realized prior to our visit, although there was small amount of water in the bath when we arrived. I would suggest cleaning staff run all the taps prior to signing off the room, as this could have been prevented. Some dust behind doors and on windowsills also needs to be addressed, although I have to say it did not spoil our stay. The spa staff were very helpful, the pool was nice, s was the steam room, and the massages were the icing on the cake, concentrating on all areas of tension. The food was good, and there was a good variety of cold and cooked breakfast, with the cooked breakfast served at the counter, which is a positive in terms of a significant number of customers handling serving spoons. It may be worth doing the same for all food open to air? Thank you for a good stay, we will be returning.

The lion has recently took on new owners and my oh my can I say how much better and modern it is now. The food is outstanding and the staff are friendly and amazing. The atmosphere and location is very calming. TVs everywhere, dart boards and slot machines available and a lovely garden with a large tv too. Dog friendly maybe add! Definitely will be coming back here again! Thankyou to the staff and the chef. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Stopped off for a few beers on the way to the Indian Edge (great curry house!) friday night - they had Level Head on draught so we went for a few of those and struggled to work out how the related darts game worked. We kinda figured it out, but it's mainly a drinking game using darts for skill shots (battleships, timed games, etc) Decided to try it for an evening meal sunday. I went for Ham, Egg & Chips - thinking it would be slices of cold ham - but turned out to be boiled gammon. Taste-wise it wasn't as overly salty as you'd expect gammon, but being boiled meant there was no crispy rind (was rubbery fat) and the water that dripped from it soaked into the chips, making them soft and soggy. The peas looked a bit dried out (possibly microwaved) but despite that they were quite sweet. It wasn't a great meal and I heard they were changing the menu soon. We didn't stay for long; it grew loud and rambunctious so we went elsewhere for a more tranquil evening.
Lovely pub, fair price. The staff can't do enough for you. Nice atmosphere, loads of TVs for the football and tasty food.
We’ve been into The Lion a couple times now for food and just want to say it is incredible! The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food speaks for itself. Highly recommend 😇
Really lovely family run pub. If you get chance pop down and enjoy the gorgeous welcoming from the new owners and the great atmosphere.
Drinks prices are ok. I will say I was a bit surprised about my JD and coke, it came in more what looked like an oversized shot glass. It was a good mix but too small for the price. Staff are really nice and welcoming. They gave me the vibe where you can drink and chat to them, (If you wanted) more so if you are a regular. What I love about The Lion is it screams old classic pub. It has TV for sport and virtual darts which it has kept up with other pubs. I don't know if it just played up when I went there but the virtual darts just didn't work at all. Toilets are nice apart from the cubicle which the lock had broke, what made it worst you couldn't hold the door close as it was too far from the toilet. I've never rushed like that for a while... Luckily for me it wasn't busy. There's no parking but Saintsbury's car park is about 2 mins away.
A great little boozer. I was visiting from out of town and was made to feel very welcome by the staff. This is what I would call a traditional pub. They serve a great pint of Guinness and there was footy on the telly, what more do you want?
Visited for the first time today, brilliant staff! Friendly and welcoming. Lovely environment and virtual darts that are free!

Beautiful woodland area linked to the Kenilworth Greenway walking path.
Very pleasant walk in the woods. Great accessibility for mobility scooters and pushchairs. Wide open circular path which is one of the reasons we went there. Dog friendly. Parking is available, but not a huge amount. The larger car park is on the opposite side of the road to one of the entrances. Access is through a fairly large kissing gate which you can just about get mobility scooters through with a bit of manoeuvring. A couple of other entrances looked like easier access, but with less parking nearby. But all in all, a lovely walk alongside the bluebells.
It's ok for a short walk as the loop is less than a mile around it. It's probably idea for young children or people with mobility issues as it's not too far but I ended up going around it three times with my dog. It's really well kept and the path around the outside is quite level. Worth visiting if you are local.
Lovely shaded wood. Took my children for a walk on a hot day. Lots of birds around to spot and friendly people to say good morning to. The main car park was full so we just kept driving around and came across another one. Easy access with 2 young children. Will be back to walk the dog another time.
Glorious...so peaceful. Lovely to see butterflies among so many beautiful bluebells
Came here with our two spaniels had a lovely walk. There are some magical little clearings to pause in. We checked out parking on google maps before we left. Its a lovely area to wander around with some majestic great oaks. We loved it and is definately on our list to return.
Woodland nature reserves managed by Warwickshire Wildlife. Takes 30mins to walk around the circumference but then has lots of footpaths weaving through. Has 'brass rubbing' posts for little ones to find. Make sure I bring some crayons and paper! Nice place. Only 5 mins from Kenilworth

What a sparkly gem of a place! A beautiful little theatre that never fails to impress. The latest production of “The Complete Works of Shakespeare…Abridged” was simply hilarious and brilliantly performed by the three actors. So reasonably priced for a fabulous evening out.
The production retained the gentleness and amusement which we expect from Jane Austen. Not forgetting the challenging of social norms. It was well cast and the costumes were beautiful. I had an enjoyable and relaxing night out.
Super theatre - we have been a few times. Friendly welcome, efficient ticketing, seating good, performances excellent. Facilities: toilets, bar all fine. One caution: parking can be a bit tricky as the car park is small and surrounding streets are narrow, so it is best to leave more time if you are driving to the Talisman.
Just saw "Emma"and it was incredible! Stunning performance, gorgeous costumes, and brilliant direction. It completely surpassed all my expectations. A truly wonderful theatre . Can’t wait for the next production!
I went to see The Pillowman - a high calibre play that takes a lot of skill to execute in a way that captivates an audience. This production delivered everything and more. The director showed an ability to "think outside the box" (a rare quality these days) with his storytelling which brought the Pillowman to life through his choice of actors and musical score. The actors were so immersed in their characters, characters that felt so real i either wanted to scream at them or hug them. They were all so believable, I had no choice but to join them in their own personal hells. Well done to all!
Well what can I say. Came to the gala opening of Emma. A special evening. Jane Austen and Andrew Davies's excellent reworking of his 1995 film adaptation. I felt spoiled and privileged to see the World Premiere. Great little theatre so close to my home in Leamington. Looking forward to my next visit.
Nice local theatre. We went to see a performance of The Pillowman which was excellent with performances that would not of been out of place in the west end. Unfortunately I managed to lose my glasses on the night and staff at the theatre went out of their way to help find and return them.
I saw a truly excellent production of "The Pillowman". It's a play that I have wanted to see for a long time, so my expectations were sky high, and this creative team did not disappoint on any level.

Amazing! So relaxing and we felt the health benefits immediately after each visit to the salt room. I personally have found it helped my allergies immensely. Other than feeling clear in my chest and nasals after, I have taken about 1 or 2 antihistamines for my allergies in between each visit; I usually take them once a day and at the height of spring/summer, twice a day! We also felt better mentally, truly worth a visit if not continued visits. We personally take a pair of headphones to fully immerse ourselves with sounds of the sea, although it is being played in the room, with headphones, it completely sends you into a relaxation state, blocking out any other sounds. Libby and Liz are lovely, thank you both.
Visited the Salt Rooms for the 1st time today. From walking through the front door to the time we left everything was welcoming, very friendly and so relaxed. Everything was explained clearly and any questions answered. Myself and my friends had such a lovely time, we will definitely return, quite possibly to have some pampering as well as going in the Salt Rooms again 🙏
I went for my first session this week on the recommendation of a friend. Not only have I read a book cover to cover for the first time in 2 years, but the severe sore throat I went for had disappeared by the end of the session. Happily booked a block of sessions to a/ rid myself of the residual dizziness, b/ read, and c/ have some tech free time again.
A perfect sanctuary in the middle of Kenilworth. The salt rooms are a peaceful, beautiful place to relax and be restored. Best of all is Libby. She is a wonderful and kind person and a brilliant holistic practitioner. I was wary of having facials as they had always irritated my skin. Trusting Libby I gave it one last go and I came out of it glowing. It is now my monthly ritual and I really look forwards to it. Her massage is pure indulgence, she picks out the oils depending on my mood and instinctively knows where I need the work without me even having to say.
What a fabulous little gem of a place! I've just had a himalayan salt scrub and massage including facial too. The massage was the best I've had in a long time and my skin feels Divine! Thank you ❤️
Incredible space! Incredible staff! Incredible events... Check out Salt & Sound sessions here hosted by Eiraya Wellness.
Lovely facial and massage from Jo at this little gem of a place. Thoroughly enjoyed and definitely recommend.

We visited this afternoon after a trip to the castle. It was mere two minute walk away and we were not disappointed. Freshly cooked food and amazing service from Richard! The portion sizes were good and it was good value for money. We will definitely be back!
Stopped for lunch after a trip to the castle. Food was excellent, as was the service.
Visited the Clarendon Arms in Kenilworth on a Friday for the Fish n chips Fryday deal. A meal for 2, including a bottle of wine £29.00. This is a great value deal. We paid £3 extra to upgrade the wine from Chilean to New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The chips are huge, and so are the pieces of hallumi, which is what I had. I loved the crispy batter. The fish was perfectly cooked, too. The staff are friendly and helpful. Its a dog friendly pub, and many people have taken their dog with them. We booked in advance and we're so glad we did it was busy. I would definitely go back and have the Fryday deal.
Been to the Clarendon Arms for Sunday Roast for a number of weeks now and I can definitely say that it's the best place to go. Staff very nice and attentive always smiling and asking if everything was OK. Food OMG the Yorkie Pubs are massive, meat yummy yum yum potatoes and I love the fact they bring veg out in a separate plate as I dont like veg so there's none on my plate. Value for money as 2 roast meals was 29.90£.
Friendly service with welcoming staff. Food was delicious and would happily return. Also unique beers served which is a bonus.
The burgers look and taste brilliant. I had a steak and ale pie which was average at best. Summer pudding was fantastic too.
A wonderful pub in the shadow of Kenilworth Castle that serves huge plates of excellent pub grub for very reasonable prices. Friendly efficient staff and lovely real ale. Do go there if you're in the area. Probably best to book to ensure a table as it was almost full when we were there.
We were a table of 8 adults plus a high chair. The staff were exceptionally obliging to our request for a low traffic area due to immunosuppression of one of our party. The service was very friendly and there were clean plates all round! (Pies, Scampi, Yorkshire Puds & Burgers) We will definitely return and we highly recommend a visit.

Fabulous afternoon with the owner today at Faerie Tale Alpaca Farm! There were 7 of us and we all enjoyed it! She’s so knowledgeable and really cares about her animals. Some beautiful products to buy afterwards using the hair which is so soft! Lovely animals, wanted to take some home. Will return!
My parents and I had a wonderful time visiting the alpaca farm today. Kierti was incredibly welcoming and informative, first introducing us to alpaca history and their nature, then guiding us in cuddling them, feeding the Shetland ponies and taking our own alpaca on a lovely walk around the field. Kierti’s dog Gimli was an undeniable highlight (as was the whole visit!), so friendly and eager to play fetch. Thank you for a great afternoon Kierti!
Faerie Tale Alpaca farm is a hidden oasis for animals and people. My friend and I wanted a 'different' day out, and this certainly delivered fun, laughter, cuteness and plenty of fresh air! It is clear to see that all animals are well looked after, happy and have a lovely environment to live in. Kierti (the owner) has a great sense of humour which shines throughout the tour. I thoroughly recommend 👌🏾
Spent a fun few hours here today on a booked tour, learning about alpacas, and loved taking them for a walk and a dip in the stream! Kierti was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions about life on an alpaca farm. Highly recommend a visit, especially if you are wearing wellies (though not essential!)
I visited Kierti and her 80 alpacas with my three kids and my dad, and it didn’t disappoint! We did the 60-minute ‘show and tell’, where you get to walk among the alpacas, stroke them, and feed them. If you’re a Shetland pony fan, there are also three sweet ponies who love attention. And if dogs are more your thing, you’ll meet Gimley, a very sociable French Bulldog who will keep bringing you toys until you throw one! He doesn’t steal the show, but he definitely adds to it. The setting is beautiful, and Kierti is both welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. We’d all highly recommend a visit if you get the chance.
Great experience with my two sons yesterday . We had a fab time lady was professional and knew a lot about the alpacas . Would come again :)
We had a tremendous time at Faerie Tale Farm, thanks so much to Kierti was incredibly caring, helpful and knowledgeable about alpacas, and there were many other animals to meet on the farm as well including Jinx the cat, and Gimli the dog who absolutely adored playing fetch! 🥰 Can highly recommend this farm for anyone who loves animals!
We loved it!! Those alpacas were really cute and the owner also shared a lot of accurate information about them. Even the ponies there were lovely. Totally recommend it.

This has to be one of the best Sunday roasts I’ve ever had. The quality, taste and value was unreal. The service was super friendly and without a doubt we’ll be back and would most definitely encourage others to go and give a try.
New landlord has got his work cut out to bring this 1970s style local pub up to scratch after a closure. I wish him well. No food was on or even hot drinks when we visited though they hope to reinstate.
Brilliant evening at the gauntlet in kenilworth. Food way amazing. Staff were so polite and accommodating. The young lady behind the bar was very helpful and made us feel welcome table service was great. The manager ash was off duty but went out his way to cook for us when we mentioned about food. Thank you so much very homely welcoming atmosphere highly recommend.
RockinWarren played live at the Gauntlet last night. When we arrived there were families enjoying food, there were friends having drinks. The venue is a heart of the community type of public house serving food, drinks and providing entertainment. We really enjoyed playing at the pub, the clientele were very friendly. The staff were nice, the pub clean including the toilets. I would recommend any band or artist to play here if they get a chance. Anyone living in Kenilworth this place is a must, a place that deserves support from the local commnity. We hope to back playing at the Gauntlet in 2024. Thank you for having us
By far the best food we have eaten in along time. Outstanding customer service with a smile. Lovely people. I would recommend all day long. Definetly will be a regular here. Adele
Very quiet in here. It like an abandoned pub. Beer's aren't that great. Outside tables are falling apart. Bar service is slow. This use to be a nice pub, but its gone downhill unfortunately.
Spent the afternoon here celebrating our dad's 80tg birthday. Buffet laid on was superb and so big that we all had to take some home! Staff were really friendly and helpful, felt like nothing was too much trouble. The place looks great and the outside is spot on! This place deserves to be rammed every day! Thanks to all the staff for a great family celebration!
We had an 80th Birthday gathering here for my grandad and it was fantastic! Elliott and the team could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much, and they were all very friendly. The pub is beautifully maintained, clean and tidy with a lovely outdoor area. Facilities were all good, and buffet provided was great for all the picky eaters we brought along. Dog friendly and kid friendly was also an added bonus! We will definitely be back for family functions in the future. Massive thanks to Elliot and Co!

Food was fresh, nice decorated, tasty and prices were reasonable. Free big car park, outside sitting available. Not far from Coventry, in nice and quiet location. Good choice to have a meal /and drink over there.
Beautiful countryside pub in Brandon. Lots of outside seating, warm and welcoming inside, great 2 for 1 lunch offer with reasonably priced options, all the staff were really friendly and helpful. A lovely spot to have a very well cooked meal or a cheeky drink in the sunshine.
Great busy pub. Good selection of drinks and menu choices. Well priced food. My gammon was excellent. My friend had the steak which was slightly overcooked but she still enjoyed it. Lovely traditional pub, would definitely return
Heard about this pub through friends who highly recommended it. My brother and I visited for the first time today initially for a drink and look round. Ended up staying for dinner too. Really lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. So impressed, I've booked a table for end of November to get friends together for a pre-Christmas gathering.
Birthday celebration dinner. Amazing pub. Loved the ambiance, busy with a friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious with great menu choice. I had sea bass, cooked to perfection with lots of veg and hasselback potatoes. Everyone enjoyed their choices. Prawn cocktail was really good. Portion sizes just right. Only one of us disappointed, no steak and ale pie. Service was excellent. All food reasonably priced. We'll definitely visit again. Would strongly recommend going here.
Met up with some friends for breakfast. Friendly welcome from the staff. A great selection of drinks and food for breakfast. Quick service and the drinks and food came out quickly. The drinks were lovely, especially the smoothies, very refreshing and tasty. The food was also high quality and delicious. The pub has recently re-opened and been decorated, they have done a great job. Thanks to everyone at the Royal Oak for a wonderful breakfast 😊
Cheap and cheerful. Visited the Royal Oak yesterday with family. It has a mildly farmhouse aesthetic inside and out, and is dog friendly. The staff were friendly, and came to the table often enough to make sure we were happy and if we wanted anything. The food was reasonable, but it's definitely just "pub grub" - if you want two for one mains, this is your place, but you get what you pay for. I'd definitely go back as I had a nice time and there's enough choice of food and drink for a return visit. There are plenty of pubs with better food selection and quality out there, but the bill is a lot cheaper here!
There were four of us for lunch and a dog.We had a lovely time. The food was lovely. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visit on a regular basis. There is always a good atmosphere. A big thank you to all the members of staff 🙏

I found THE dress and was recommended to go to the wonderful team at StitchedUp Bridal by the dress shop and a friend. ✂️ When you spend so much ££ on any item of clothing, of course you're going to be nervous at the idea of scissors, pins etc being within a mile of it. 🪡 The Sanctuary was such a relaxed atmosphere. There is much to be said of the talent and skill it takes to transform an already stunning wedding dress into everything you've dreamt of and more. Gemma and her team worked their magic, shortening front, lifting straps, adding a bustle and even created additional bows for the evening. 🧵 During one of the fittings I was bloated and was concerned how close my cycle was to the day. Gemma made me comfortable, reassured me and gave me tips for the day. I didn't have to drag my bridesmaids to the loo each time 🤣. ✨ The feeling of stepping into your wedding dress that is tailored to you is indescribable. I looked amazing, but what I felt was bigger than that. StitchedUp gave me confidence again in my body and I will always be thankful for that. 💖 I love my dress, from the bottom of my heart, thank you Gemma and team.
Thank you so much to all the girls at Stitched up for making my dress so perfect! Paris and Becca worked so hard to create the sleeves on my dress and was everything I ever wanted! I wouldn’t have gone anywhere else for alternations, Gemma made my prom dress in 2011 so it was so special to have stitched up alternating my wedding dress. The girls are so kind and friendly, they make you feel so comfortable and at ease. Thank you so much 🥰 xxx
Can’t thank the girls at stitched up enough !! They have gone above and beyond for me and my wedding dress! I had three appointments and the dress was perfect after their alterations, I unfortunately got sick and lost some weight in the run up to the wedding and they fitted me in again last minute (a few days before my wedding) and altered my dress again for me at no additional cost I was blown away at their kindness. You are all AMAZING!! Xxx
I genuinely think this shop take on more work in the summer months than the lovely girls who work here can handle. I had a poor experience throughout starting at the second fitting where the adjustments were way off from the original measurements. On my final fitting I found they had forgotten to sew a bussel in, and my veil had been steamed despite discussing not to. The shop had to replace the veil as the damage was irreparable. On my wedding day I found a loose thread sticking out of the strap adjustment. Everyone I spoke to was lovely throughout and most of the issues were addressed but this shop is a conveyor belt of wedding dresses and I think you’d get a better service and closer eye to detail elsewhere.
I was recommended by a friend to Stitched up Bridal. & I am so glad I didn’t go anywhere else! I wanted to make sure my dress was in the right hands and i can honestly say they made the process easy from start to finish. I didn’t have to worry. The dress fitted like a glove and was perfect for my wedding day. The girls were super friendly and made me feel completely at ease . Thankyou so much . Beth xx
I used Stitched Up to alter my own wedding dress in 2019. I now own my own Bridal Boutique and recommend Gemma and the team to all of our brides. They have held training sessions showing us how they pin and alter the gowns and I have to say they are some of the best in the business. We feel at ease sending our brides to Stitched Up know they are in the best hands. They also have the most relaxing beautiful studio so we feel this adds as a continuation of the luxury experience they receive in our boutique.
I can’t recommend Gemma and her team at Stitched-Up enough. From the moment I stepped into The Sanctuary, and back into the dress I hadn’t tried on for 8 months, they made me feel confident and happy that they would make it fit perfectly. I hadn’t quite realised just how much it would need altering but felt so reassured when I left after my first visit that they knew exactly what was needed. There are so many other things to stress about in the final build up to your wedding day but my dress never felt like one of them. Every step of the changes needed were explained and it was always in such a relaxed, chilled atmosphere, even the background music felt calming. On my last visit for my final fitting there were still a few tweaks needed but once again Gemma worked her magic, sorting everything to perfection before I left with my dress, along with lots of helpful tips for putting it on on the actual day . I can honestly say I felt amazing in my dress all day, right up to the final dancing at midnight, it fitted perfectly, was so comfortable and I send Gemma and the team the biggest thank you xx
From start to finish I had the loveliest experience with Gemma and the rest of the Stitched Up Team! My dress was a couple of sizes too big, but this wasn't a problem at all for them. Going to The Sanctuary was such a special experience and I was made to feel at ease as soon as I stepped inside. I loved the attention to detail and the team made sure I was 100% happy before I took the dress away. If you're considering Stitched Up for your alterations then I'd absolutely recommend them!
