A cinema goers dream! I could wax lyrical about the wonders of this gem, but you really owe it to yourself to see it and a movie whilst there. Let's begin with the lobby that is festooned with memorabilia of all ages. Here, too, the staff are happy to help and discuss with you all the various pieces. There is an excellent array of refreshments available here, and very well priced. Each individual screen has something unique, but all offer plenty of space and comfortable seating, and is impeccably well kept. Top tip is arrive early and give yourself plenty of time to look around, you will not find anything quite like the Kinema in the Woods, elsewhere.
What an amazing nostalgic cinema, we absolutely loved it. It was a pavilion originally and converted in 1920, so you can imagine Pathe news being showing on the war years. The decor is all original including an organ that would play at the intermission. Lots of leg room and very comfortable.
I don't go to any other cinema now. I love this place so much. The whole place just feels special. It's cheaper than other cinemas but equally comfy. I also love that lots of showings have intermissions. Why cinemas stopped doing that, I don't know. The chap playing the organ is always an unexpected delight. More than just a cinema, this is an experience!
Absolute fantastic place if you want to travel back in time and you're looking for something totally romantic then this is the place. Just close your eyes and soak up the atmosphere it's brilliant. Price's are extremely good for gge tickets and for snacks and drinks. Also there is an old fashion intermission for a toilet or drinks break superb. Loved every minute of it.
Quaint 1950s cinema with lots of leg room and comfy seats. Strange to have an intermission half way through the movie to refresh your snacks, go to the loo or just be entertained by the organist rising from beneath the stage. Definitely worth a visit just for the experience
What a fantastic cinema experience. Like stepping back in time in the best possible way. Lovely friendly staff and nice snacks on sale. You even get an interval and the piano playing. Will def go again.
Fantastic throwback to old fashioned cinema with quirky cinematic nostalgia items on display, comfortable seating, an Interval with the bonus of an organist rising up in front of the screen. Absolutely loved visiting this cinema. Will be back for more.
Absolutely brilliant! Cannot believe we stumbled across this place, a hidden gem! Traditional cinema, beyond reasonable ticket and refreshment prices, an all round wonderful experience!

Very moving. Small car park next to memorial gardens also free 2 hours parking. If you wanted to stay longer it's then only £2
Very well kept viewing area with a few benches. All the airmens names stand out to see. Next to a car park and easy to reach.
Whilst I was in the area, I felt that it was appropriate to pay our respects. Lovely well kept memorial. Nice village to stop and have tea. There is a nice woodland walk behind the shops, and public toilets near by.
Beautiful memorial and sobering to read. Lest we forget.
Lovely place to pay your respects to the fallen personal in the war, clean, well looked after and welcoming.
Old and New memorial to the men of 617 SQN in the RAF who made the ultimate sacrifice. It is situated next to a small carpark qhich has 2 hours free parking and is only £2 for longer time. It is also the start of the Woodhall Spa wartime walk.
Absolutely brilliant well worth a visit.
What can I say. A beautiful memorial. I got goosebumps just standing there and a tear in my eye thinking about what those brave men gave for us. Truly inspiring.

Went because the weather was so hot, lots going on in the park and around the area with VE day a couple of days previous. Found toilets, very clean, aqua aerobics in the outdoor pool very busy. Stalls selling jams and pickles and other stuff. We managed to get free parking. A great day in Woodhall Spa, everyone happy enjoying the sunshine.
Lovely play area and gardens. Didn't use the lido but looked amazing. There are wasps but it's summer. We live in a country with wasps so can't be helped. Ice cream prices are very good value and great flavours. Wish we loved closer
Outdoor heated pool. Really enjoyed this, facilities were good. Lockers, showers, changing area all clean and nice. Pool was busy when we went but had a good time. The snack hut at the pool side is really good value, all the food was really nice and generous portions. We all had burgers and they were massive, £5.50 for a double cheeseburger if I remember correctly.
Went swimming in the outdoor pool. Great atmosphere, lovely and clean, nice warm water in both pools. Took my 9 year old and he loved it.
A lovely open air lido. It was hot and busy but not too busy. We swam 3-4 times and chilled with a nice ice cream.
Absolutely lovely place..immaculately clean, swimming pools are great all set in beautiful grounds of gardens and trees.
First time visit for me. Very impressed with everything there. Family gathering for Father in law 90th birthday We all had a great time.
We came to the lido, amazing place , we shall definitely be back next year.

Excellent little museum steeped in history of Woodhall Spar. Very friendly staff.
What an interesting place, finding out how Woodhall Spa started and the people who lived there and their visions. Run by volunteers and Patzy had so much information to share, well worth a trip there.
Lovely little museum close by to other Woodhall attractions. Learn about the origin and history of the museum itself and the spa town's development to what it is today. Welll curated displays and friendly, knowledgeable staff/volunteers on hand during visits.
If staying in Woodhall Spa, you must visit here to begin. That way you'll understand the origins of the village. Run by helpful volunteers, the museum tells its own history as a 'bought from catalogue' kit plus the history of the spa and association with the dambusters.
Lovely museum tucked away but very accessible. Parking on the nearby street. Wheelchair friendly. Lots of interesting artefacts, excellent information and short video's to watch. You must visit!
I popped in out of curiosity as the thought of visiting a museum. In such a lovely setting would be very rewarding. In the end ( due to time limit ) I could only go into the reception area and grabbed a couple of leaflets from the tourist information section. I Will go back, as i am very intrigued as to what the museum holds within it's walls
A very interesting place to visit . Small but very informative history about the family that lived here and about the town. There's some "hands on" stuff for the kids to do too. The staff were really helpful. 5*
Great little museum, some unusual bits in it and it tells a really nice story. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent Sunday lunch. We both had the Roast Beef and it was delicious, just melted in the mouth. Two courses for £12.00 very good value. We had seen previous reviews and decided to give it a go, we weren’t disappointed. Well presented too with the veg served separately. Only gave 4* for atmosphere as it was towards the end of service and a little quiet but other than that couldn’t fault everything else about the meal, staff very attentive and friendly.
Went here today with my elderly friend, I was absolutely shocked at how great everything was! The staff were very friendly and enjoyed a laugh with their customers, was made to feel very welcome. We were sat promptly with drinks served, due to staffing we were told the wait may take longer and as we hadn't booked we completely understood... However we had our order taken and the food arrived very quickly - we were all done within an hour and half. We went on Wednesday and they have a deal for a Sunday roast + pudding for £10.50 (not joking). The food was fantastic none of this over done nonsense just a great roast dinner, I wish I'd taken a photo however I tucked straight in. The restaurant is lovely with plenty of space, staff checked in and overall a fabulous experience.
Booked a table for sunday lunch after , just stopping off at this little pub one summer afternoon for a cold drink, and whilst doing so the food smelt lovely, so decided to give them a try, we was very impressed, the sunday lunch was delicious, nicely presented and all fresh home made traditional food. We will most certainly visit again, the pub has a very friendly welcoming atmosphere, even from the lovely little resident doggie..great little pub , highly recommend.
While out for a bike ride along the river we stopped here for a tea . The food was delicious and plenty of it . Proper pub food at pub prices as they should be . The staff were all very friendly as were the locals . The drinks were £4 cheaper than the previous pub we stopped off at just outside Tattershall ( based on a medium red wine and a pint of beer ) . This pub has got it right , they tick all the boxes . We’ve been before and will go back.
Had Sunday lunch here with friends, it was a very nice meal and served on hot plates. Veg is served separately and one of our party doesn’t eat veg so they did extra roast potatoes for them. Would definitely come back if we are in the area again
Really friendly family pub that's worth a visit, myself and my partner had food here and it was really good, I had gammon, egg, chips and peas. It is definitely really a place to visit as it is brilliant for what you pay! My partner had homemade cottage pie which she thoroughly enjoyed but the only fault was the gravy as it was slightly watery but that did not stop her enjoying it!
Found this pub on Google maps while staying in Woodhall. We came twice in the weeks stay and would not hesitate in coming again next time we are here. Great choice on the menu and with a specials board that changes daily. Friendly welcoming staff good range of drinks all reasonably priced. And a chef 👨‍🍳 that really knows what he's doing and how to present food. No questions that they could not answer and chips to die for..
Another excellent Sunday lunch, beef and pork were melt in the mouth, perfectly cooked vegetables and friendly prompt service from all staff. Lovely presented dining room and nice less formal area as well as outside seating

Lovely little shop full of lots of beautiful things! Great gifts and homeware. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
Lovely little shop, well organized & friendly staff. They didn't have what I wanted, but ordered it, & sent me a SMS the next day. Brilliant service from a great little shop.
Love polka dots in Woodhall Spa. Always smells nice in here. Great selection of gifts and cards and balloons. And wool and haberdashery too. What's not to like.

Stacey at Woodhall Wellbeing is a true gem. My first skin treatment was a wonderful experience. Her expertise and calming presence made me feel completely at ease. My skin feels amazing just hours after, and I already can't wait for my next appointment.
Popped in for a facial and reflexology during our weekend away - friendly and hygienic service at a very reasonable price, lovely area. Would definitely come back if we lived a bit closer!
Having had many full body waxing over the years, I can say with certainty this is the best. A lovely room, very welcoming as is the lady. Put at ease, very very professional and communicative. The treatment was carried out so smoothly the least painful I’ve ever experienced Can’t recommend highly enough
I have a.massage every month if possible I always feel great afterwards. Stacey is so welcoming can't thank her enough.
Been here today for a full body massage and a pedicure. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my procedures. Immaculately clean and such a relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Stacey.
Stacey is an exceptional therapist offering a quality service at extremely reasonable prices!! The salon room is perfectly appointed with everything you need and it smells divine. I opted for an eyelash list and eye brow shape / tint both of which I was absolutely thrilled with - colour match was perfect with my hair. I also decided to try a relaxing lymphatic drainage treatment (Stacey provided a full consultation on the benefits) followed by THE most amazing facial!! I came away feeling thoroughly pampered and envigorated. I would highly recommend Woodhall Well Being and will be returning in the spring!!
I visited Woodhall Wellbeing 2 weeks ago and had the most lovely relaxing afternoon. The salon is immaculately clean and Stacy is very welcoming and highly knowledgeable about the procedures. I had an eyelash curl and tint which looks amazing and the most wonderful facial which left my skin glowing. I will definitely be visiting the salon on a regular basis!
My wife and I went to Woodhall Well Being for the first time for a body wrap. It was a great experience...Stacy, the owner, was a lovely lady and was very professional at all times and so welcoming...the wrap was carried out in a unhurried way with the surroundings being immaculately clean...Stacy was very discreet at all times. The wrap itself was amazing and left both our skins feeling so clean, smooth and supple...the whole experience felt so good...so good we booked another wrap for later in the year...we would certainly recommend Woodhall Well Being to anyone wanting body treatments. Thanx Stacy for a lovely experience...

Charming little shop with craft supplies and gift ideas for everyone. The lovely owner was so friendly and helped with wool colour suggestions. Will def visit again when I'm next in Woodhall.
Woodhall Spa’s best crafting and gift shop! Filled with beautiful handmade gifts, from jewellery to knitted Christmas elves. Wonderful to see so many local crafters displaying and selling their products. Claire the owner of Fairy Crafters is wonderful and extremely helpful when it comes to advise on crafting and purchasing gifts for loved ones. A must visit if you’re passing or visiting Woodhall Spa. 😁
Lovely little shop of handmade treasures! Plenty of beautiful, reasonably priced gifts! I bought a handmade face mask and a thank you gift for my for my neighbour. Shame it is not closer to home, i'd be in there all the time!

The cabin (spitfire) and site was absolutely perfect. So comfy, pristine and welcoming. They’d turned the radiators on ready for our arrival so was lovely and toasty. Hot tub was fabulous and such a treat. They’d left us milk, bread and some Halloween popdots - lovely touch. Trish is lovely - we booked directly through fb messenger Fully recommend and can’t wait to come back.
I'm a novice pleasure fisherman. Just had an amazing Bank Holiday Friday here. Everyone was friendly and happy to share tips for the lake. I ended up bagging the biggest fish I've ever caught at 15 pound Common and bagged well over 50 pound of silvers and various carp. I fished the pellet feeder in the morning then on the pole at heat of the day in the afternoon. It's a 30 minute drive from my house but I can see rosewood being my new local 😊
Nice to be able to park on your swim. Priced similarly to surrounding area. After spending the morning and most of the afternoon, trying a few different baits, the only way me and my two work mates could get the carp feeding was off the top with bread. Plenty of silver fish about though so you aren't bored 😊 very shallow water as well.
5 star all the way at Rosewood fishery. Caravans are beautiful and very clean . The pond is very well stocked and pegs are well presented. Mandy and ian are perfect hosts and make sure your stay is perfect and are always on hand if you need anything. We have been coming here to Rosewood Fishery twice a year for many years and hopefully be coming here for many more years. A lovely peaceful place to come to relax and catch some nice fish
i have used this fishery for the last five years. less the last 2. it is a good place for fishing. my grandson really loved it there. and has been many times. but we turned up sunday 27th to fish. and saw the signes up no children allowed. adults only. i spoke to the owner. asked if we could fish and got a snarley remark. get him off here. or you will regret it. i dont like kids... i dont know whats gone off in the past with other customers. and their kid /kids. but i respected what he said but not the way he said it. as he/we were not to blame for what may have gone off in the past. a simple sorry but i do not allow children on anymore. would have been sufficiant. so if you like me were thinking of taking someone under 18 i suggest you stay away and go elsewhere. ignorance is above standard. a good morning or good day would have been nice to hear. this is for the people who like me have taken kids there before and not been for a while. but for the adults you will enjoy it..plenty of big carp and bream also other species to be caught. i know quiet a few that will never return to fish here a pitty a real pitty.
Just been here for my yearly weeks fishing. Had a fantastic time as usual. Lovely hosts Mandy and Ian looking forward to my next visit. Maurice
Lovely little lake, full of a mixed variety of fish. Nice friendly owners what more could you ask for, really enjoyed my visit.
Some the best fishing down that way, all fish caught were in fantasic condition, we caught carp between 6-15lb, great fishing
