Staff were helpful and cheerful. And really enjoyed the activity. With right people you can easily spend 3 hours there. would like to go again someday :)
Great spot for all skill levels. Our 13yr old and his buddy loved it. They provide a good training session at the start and 2 staff on the apparatus for the duration.
Awesome way to condense a climbing experience! My only suggestion after having done so many of these types of climbs, is that they should offer work gloves for climbing. I would have enjoyed it that much more and longer. First place to not offer this. Still had a wonderful time though!
Great ropes course for kids and adults. A must stop if youre staying on PEI. Great experience for the kids and something Interactive instead of general sightseeing. Staff were excellent.
Very nice and accommodating place, a must do here if you have kids with ya!
💰 Price: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👉🏻 The pricing, around $40 to $50 per person with tax, is quite reasonable, and it’s even cheaper for youth under 18. 🤑 🏞️ Facilities: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👉🏻 The facilities at Rise and Climb, including the full courses from Level 1 to Level 3, are outstanding, earning a solid five-star rating from me. 🧗‍♂️ 🚰 Tips: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👉🏻 Some tips for a great experience: be sure to bring water to stay hydrated (💧) and gloves to protect your hands (🧤). If you choose an afternoon session, sunscreen (☀️) is a must to shield yourself from the sun. Overall, the Rise and Climb Adventure Course offers an incredible outdoor adventure that’s not only thrilling but also affordable. It’s a definite must-visit for adventure enthusiasts! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The kid had a great time climbing the obstacle course and zip lining, the 2.5 hour went by so quickly. I would recommend taking the kids for a climb anytime
We’ve had a lot of fun here. Awesome guide, lead and all the people who working here always makes sure it’s a safe place for everyone. My friend couldn’t join the challenge with us because she didn’t pass the safety test but it’s understandable. My body hurts the next day due to not working out for a long time but it’s worth a try since i made it to the last zip-line.

This was my first time playing golf outside of the US and Glen Afton on the south shore of PEI did not disappoint. The landscape, views and scenery are all beautiful and the overall track has an unfussy, almost “wild” quality to it that I really dug. Hand-painted signs, farm machinery around the first tee, etc. no country club pretensions here. The actual playing conditions were great - it’s an easy walk with well-kept fairways, mid-paced greens, some undulation here and there, and some big hills on the back 9. Hole #13 that abuts the sea is a particular highlight. Pace of play seems to be a non-issue too with very little wooded area, you can usually find your ball even if you hit a bad shot. I recommend playing in the early morning to take in a sunrise over the property. This was an awesome place to play, I hope to return soon and get another crack at some of those tougher holes on the back 9!
My friends and I travelled to PEI in August, and we played at a few golf courses on the island. Glen Afton has breathtaking views and reasonable prices. Will definitely come back and visit.
Greens are in great shape , good layout , and wasn't too crowded . We got around in 2 hrs 45 min on a Friday
Great golf course and wonderful staff. Beautifulf water view and really friendly for the beginner. Rate is reasonable.
I always enjoy getting out a few times a year to play nine holes at Glen Afton. I think the owners are doing a good job with course maintenance, the price is fair, and it’s always a friendly experience.
I haven't played this course in 5 years. Played it today and was heartbroken to see the shape that the course is in. I'm not sure what standard our Island golf courses are held too but this one is an embarrassment. There was a group of six people behind us with four carts and in front of us one person. The tee boxes are terribly marked. And the golf cart I was driving was in such bad disrepair I could not see out of it to safely cross the road. How anyone could put a positive review on this course this year is a mystery. Extremely disappointed this once beautiful course is in this shape.
We played the back 9. I think it was nicer views than the front 9. Mowed well. Wide fairways.
Terrible customer service. Lady working had no clue what was happening. Had a tee time booked and she let a group of 8 players tee off in front of us (two players in our group). The group wouldn't let us play through at all the whole round . Went to the clubhouse after nine holes to speak to someone and there wasn't an employee to be found, I could hear a man and woman in a heated argument upstairs of the clubhouse.. After 12 holes and five hours we quit out of frustration. Went back to the clubhouse to let them know how frustrated and dissapointed we were only to have the lady blame us for our experience, said we should have called the clubhouse to complain while we were playing but we didn't bring our cell phones on the course with us. She raised her voice with me and wasn't one bit apologetic and continuously blamed us the terrible experience. Been golfing my whole life and never had such an ugly experience on a golf course in my life.. Place is a shell of what it use to be, bathrooms and clubhouse are filthy and deteriorating and obviously the customer service is non existent. New owners only care about $$$ apparently not the customer. Will never be back. I'd strongly advise to stay away at all costs !! * Wondering how I got the picture I went to my car after we quit to get my phone to grab a picture of what we dealt with all day to show the lady working.. She didn't care obviously

Best value on the island. Been visiting PEI for the last 20 years. Played numerous courses, but Clyde River provided the best fun yet challenging day I can remember. Well worth the drive from the North Shore. Fairways and greens in great shape and pace of play was perfect. Will be back next season and definitely keep this one in the rotation.
Visited the island for a week, they were able to get me on the course for 18. Price was decent, a bit expensive in the shirt(not upset) pro shop could have a bit more stuff in it, good drink selection. Staff was beyond friendly and happy to help in anyway, course was awesome, first time hitting a par 5 on hole 1. Would absolutely recommend people to play here!!!! Plus the crows mocking you when you have a bad shot was quite funny!!!
We played at this course with real high expectations based on the descriptions in their web site. I know, I know. The course is poorly maintained, weeds are wide spread in the fairway. The staff in the pro shop worked real hard to cover multiple areas, like being cashier, starter and managing the shop and managed to keep smiling. However everything was ruined by the guy who drove an extremely loud grass cutting tractor. He parked his tractor five yards next to us while we were on the tee box, then raced ahead of us and stationed right in front of our line of sight. After four times of such similar incidents, we politely asked him to stay out, he started to yell at us in full volume. He only went away after we told him that we would not play another shot until he stay out. It’s ridiculous. I would not recommend this course even to my enemy!
A couple times we got lost, green gets watered in the morning making for a challenge. No beverage cart which is fine.couple tee boxes missing a couple bunkers need filled. A 6' sink hole is impossible to get out of Overall I enjoyed my time and much more reasonably priced than a couple of the higher end courses in the area. Would recommend to new to average players
The fairways are all dugged up from skunks, bunkers are solid not loose, the greens are always full of little sticks/leafs “trying putt is brutal.. Isn’t a halfway house to stop for snacks or a refreshments.. “no cart girl also”. While we paid for our round of golf a lady came in complaining her golf cart had no power that she was miles behind her friends in there golf cart, we got ours same issue gutless golf cart we couldn’t even make it up hills going onto hole 3 and constantly trying to keep up to our friends.. Holes are close to one another, couple holes we played another group was hitting balls onto our hole about 20-30 feet ball was landing by us.. Course needs a lot of work! $93 for full round and that’s half a cart.. My opinion not worth it.
Very disappointed to say the least!! Course is in great state of disrepair. Not a very good layout. On most holes the green is not visible from the tee… you are shooting blind on second shots on the par 5sand some par 4s.The 9th hole is no where near the clubhouse. We only played 9 and drove back to the clubhouse past groups ahead of us. Very overpriced… we paid $65 with cart for 9 holes. Would not recommend this course.
Really enjoyed. Views are AWESOME. I wish there was music playin in the clubhouse or something tho it just felt really quiet
Very disappointed. As soon as you start the game, you will get lost, feel like play in a maze. Poor maintained course. Wouldn’t come back and not recommend for any level of golf player.
