I genuinely can’t say enough good things about Surf and Sail BVI. I came out to Tortola not expecting to surf but when I got here it was great so I rented a board from them. The longboard I picked out is phenomenal, rides great for everything we surfed. Over head to knee high. And on top of all that the pickup and board drop off was so convenient. 100% would recommend and I can’t wait to do it again!
Captain Debs is absolutely THE BEST! The boat feels brand new, safe, and plenty of space for all. Debs was conscious of my family's needs from the delicious food and beverages right down to the details of great snorkeling experiences! We saw a 🐬 dolphin family teaching it's baby to catch fish, 3 HUGE turtles 🐢, barracuda, tarpin, conch 🐚 squiggly starfish, ENORMOUS lobster🦞, parrot fish and loads of other colorful 🐠 tropical fish 🐡🐌🏝. We felt like we had the area to ourselves...you cant put a price tag on that! We have amazing pictures, videos (thank you Debs!) and unforgettable memories! Thank you, Scott and Debs, super grateful to get to know you✌💗
We have rented water toys from Island Surf and Sail several times. If you need any water toys they are the place to go. Their equipment is in top condition and everything is delivered and put on our boat even before we arrive! They provide great service.
Great service and staff! New, clean and well maintained equipment for our Diving adventures. We also rented the big floaty lily pad and paddle boards for our charter next door at Voyage Charters. The staff delivered the equipment and properly fastened it to our charter boat. They picked it all up too!! So easy.
We used Island Surf and Sail to rent a couple of SUPs, noodles, and mask/fin/snorkels. We didn't have to lift a finger and the gear was placed on our boat (The Catamarans Co.) and then picked up after we returned the boat. It couldn't have been easier. The website needs a little bit of work as pricing was a little confusing and there was no place to specify sizes which required a little back-and-forth emails. Gear was fine: not fancy (snorkels didn't have any purge valves) but you're paying for convenience, not quality gear. Would use the service again next time we're in the BVI.
Tackle box was very limited and the frozen bait was rigged with hooks that are too small for the size of fish trolled for in the region. Fish bit thru the bait and hooks multiple times and bent hooks straight. Need larger stronger hooks rigged into the frozen Ballyhoo.
Scott and Debs were very helpful when we went to surf in the BVI. Their surfboards were in excellent conditions and they even delivered it for free. And yes, they offered us their Cane Garden Bay Surfboards which were amazing and well-crafted. I highly recommend Island Surf and Sail BVI for those planning to visit Tortola.
Fantastic place to rent. The SUP was delivered to our boat on time in perfect condition and was picked up on time at the end of the rental. This is the third time we have used them and will do so again.

Soapers hole is always a great place to end your charter. Beautiful, colorful buildings, houses and lots of boats to google. Pussers is a great place for drinks before you have let’s eat everything we have left in the boat. Nice and calm.
Great place to visit; fully stocked grocery store, souvenir shops, restaurant, and bar. Also, a very nice clothier too. Check out the sale. Arrive by car, yacht or dinghy!
We had a break here on a shore excursion and we really enjoyed it. We got some Snacks at the grocery store and sat right by the Marina and did a little picnic. Beautiful views of the Marina. The water is so incredibly blue. There are also little souvenir shops and a restaurant. A really nice spot to hang out and take in the beauty of the area.
Great marina !! Love this spot ! Everything is Great!! Shops coffee grocery what ever you need !! Enjoy I did !!
Great for a quick pitstop! Easy moring and large grocery store.
Loved getting off from the tender to the wharf. Easy access to taxi services, shops & going to the beach. The views from the wharf were just beautiful & the local residents were so friendly & helpful. Can't wait to go back again to visit.
A beautiful picturesque spot incredibly different to most places I’d seen in the BVI. While there’s no beach, this beautiful marina has plenty to keep you entertained for a few hours - Admirals Bar, Pusser’s, Omar’s Fusion and Omar’s Coffee House being great spots for food and drink, a few shops, a Rite Way, a spa, and lots of fish to spot in the crystal blue waters. A great place to watch the sun set.
Good amenities in area in spite of the hurricane rebuild in progress. Voyage charters, Soper's Hole Car Rentals, The Best Cup, etc are available. I can't wait to see the area next season with new docks and the buildings filled with business (Pusser's Landing especially).

We took a week long sail with Jess and Brett through the BVI and it was an unforgettable experience. Not only were both personable, knowledgable and friendly, they got to know us and curated our experience to be everything we wanted. The food was tasty, exciting, and consistently excellent. Each mooring was unique and checked all of our boxes. We got to see the Baths, turtles, sharks, rays, octopus, and goats, as well as the chance to visit world-famous locales like Jost van Dyke and the Soggy Dollar. I could not recommend these two enough!!
I would like to start by saying that Captain Michael and Chef Lara were amazing!! They did their level best to ensure everyone on our Charter had an amazing time. Chef Lara prepared wonderful meals and was able to tailor the meals to any required dietary needs. No one went hungry, and it was so nice to come back from an adventure or excursion to a wonderful meal. Captain Michael was a true professional. He entertained all my questions about the Boat and how the systems worked. He was a very capable Captain, we always felt safe. The Home Away is a beautiful and well appointed Yacht. All of the staterooms were immaculate and in perfect working condition. The bathrooms were large enough for what you need, and all systems worked flawlessly. It was so nice to go for a morning swim or adventure, and return to a straightened cabin and clean bathroom. The crew was amazing here as well. Voyage Charters was able to supply all of the toys we would need as far as snorkel gear, pool noodles, and SUPs. Everyone in our group said this was one of the best vacations we have ever had. Voyage, and the Crew crushed it. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you again for such a wonderful week!!!
Voyage Charters provided the most amazing family vacation imaginable. From start to finish, the customer service and attention to detail was outstanding and impeccable. We had the privilege of having Brett and Jessica as our hosts and I cannot imagine sharing this experience with a couple who could be more gracious, engaging, and talented. Somehow they were able to provide 5 star resort service while also making us feel like an extension of their family. Jessica’s culinary skills never failed to impress - every single meal was better than the last. And Brett’s captain skills were fantastic but he also took the time to include family members and educate them which was so special and meaningful. When we left the boat we felt sad to leave the beautiful islands, but more saddened to leave our incredibly talented friends. Simply incredible!
Hands down the best charter experience! A group of 7 of us came down for a girls trip and we had an amazing time! The Voyage 590 boat layout is perfect for hanging out while giving plenty of space for people to find their own spots to comfortably spread out. Our crew really made the experience exceptional — Michael and Lara made us feel so at home on the boat, planned the ideal itinerary for us, and just took phenomenal care of us from start to finish. This is my 4th charter with voyage and they just keep getting better. Can’t wait to come back!!
Where do I begin! I really don't think words and pictures can describe the wonderful experience my family had with Voyage and the exceptional service and attention to detail of James of Robyn, our captain and chef. We were on the 59' Sol Liv, family of five. The boat is exceptionally built and extremely spacious and accommodating. The cabins and heads exceeded expectations and there was plenty of room to "find your own spot" when needed. The boat really has anything you could imagine, and there was nothing lacking. It really is a floating 5-star hotel with 5-star service. I noted James and Robyn were our captain and chef, but they were so much more than that. They were truly a welcoming extension of our family who took care of us from the moment we stepped aboard to the moment we stepped off. There is nothing you have to worry about. They took care of everything from off-boat dining reservations, massages, taxi and transportation requirements, local knowledge and history of the region. They also did the little things like folded clothes and towels left out, made up the beds and rooms daily and cleaned continuously. They are both masters of their craft. James left us without worry with his captaining skills and locating the perfect spots to sightsee and anchor. Robyn's meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner - including desserts!) were resort quality in terms of ingredients, taste and presentation. Their personalities are perfectly suited to what they do, engaging in conversation but also they gave us our space with perfect timing so that we could enjoy time as a family. I really cannot say enough. I've included a few photos of and from and the boat so you can place yourself there. The islands and ocean speak for themselves as it's truly the most peaceful and beautiful place to visit. Voyage, and the crew, sold me 100% on coming back with both family and friends and using their services time and time again.
We (Delta Health Foundation) just returned from a 2-week Delta Wholeness Sail with Voyage Yachts. Our boat was Home Again, with Capt. Stephen and Chef Nia. Our guests rotated in that each week was a different group. It was a fabulous 2 weeks. From the boat, to the Capt. to the Chef, it represented the tenets of our 'Delta Wholeness Wheel'. SLEEP - the boat was quiet and guests reported improved quality of sleep. EAT - Chef Nia, WOW! She is such a talented Chef. EVERY meal for 12 people for 2 weeks was FLAWLESS THINK – A positive and respectful culture continued throughout minor issues MOVE – We had plenty of space to do yoga each day. BREATHE – The salt air was plentiful BODY CARE – The water maker provided plentiful water for cleaning and consumption ENVIRONMENT – The environment of the boat was clean and organized. With the kind and talented crew, we all felt safe and well-tended. SOCIAL – Our crew and guests, easily blended and enjoyed common space. We felt like a sailing family. PRIORITIES – The meals and sailing schedule was flexible to meet our needs and yet adequate to explore the BVI. SOUL SELF – All of our guests felt welcomed and encouraged to elevate to a better self. Thank you, Capt. Stephen and Chef Nia. Looking forward to our next adventure. Big Hugs and Love!
We have been cruising with Voyage Charters for over 14 years and each year surpasses the next. Last year we were offered an upgrade to the 590 (Treasure Hunter). How can you go back to the smaller Cats after being on this boat. So this year, we chartered The Drake. It again, did not disappoint. We went with 11 family and friends ranging from 21 to 87 for 2 weeks on a bareboat basis. The cabins a superbly laid out, the galley has everything you could ask for and more. There was enough space for everyone to spend time together and to find a quiet space alone. Water makers, large capacity water tanks, great WiFi, excellent Aircon, great dinghy spec, built in BBQ, an abundance of fridges/freezers but to name a few amazing features. The boat is easy to handle and run. There is so much to do for all the family, including the 4 80+ year olds. They could walk seamlessly from the back to the front of the boat, and use the platform to get in and out of the water. Whoever designed the boat is a genius! The base staff are brilliant, helpful and informative. You couldn’t ask for more. We had a fabulous time!!!
We recently completed a 7-day bareboat charter with Voyage Yacht Charters in the British Virgin Islands, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience! Our booking agent, Danyielle Roth, made the entire process seamless from start to finish. She helped us choose the perfect boat for our group and set us up for success with her extensive local knowledge of the area. The boat maintenance and upkeep from the Voyage team were top-notch—something rarely seen in the islands. The crew was friendly and genuinely seemed to love what they do, which added to the overall positive atmosphere of our trip. Thanks to Danyielle's recommendations, we enjoyed secluded beaches all to ourselves, mixed with memorable happy hours and the chance to make new friends along the way.Overall, Voyage Yacht Charters provided exceptional service, and Danyielle’s support truly made our trip unforgettable. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for an incredible sailing adventure in the BVI!"

Aristocat Day Sales was an absolutely amazing day. Flo and Lady were great host and captains. We had an absolutely fantastic time. They were only eight total people on the boat all adults. We went to the caves, we went to Pirates Bite. We went to the Indians and we had two other stops one at Willie T’s to jump off the pirate boat and one was another cay where we did a snorkel. Saw a spotted eagle ray, turtles, barracuda, and so many other fish. The cooler is stocked, lunch is delicious. I am soooooooo glad we did this as we almost didn't. It was worth every memory. We did the full day Norman Island sail.
We had a great time on our catamaran trip from Tortola to JVD! The crew (and the drinks) were awesome. My kids had a blast in their first catamaran excursion. Would do it again!
Captain Flo and first mate Lady provided an excellent, 5 star experience today! We stopped at Cooper Island where we snorkeled and saw green sea turtles, starfish, barracuda, and many many fish species. We then sailed to Virgin Gorda where they had arranged a taxi to The Baths (which were amazing). They provided an excellent lunch and water, beer, seltzers, rum punch, and soft drinks throughout the ride. Cannot recommend them enough for an awesome day on the water in BVI!
What a treat! We had the best time with Flo and her first mate on our day trip to Norman Island. They were fun and *full of knowledge and experience. I was a little hesitant to snorkel, but so glad I did! Food was great, and price was surprisingly reasonable compared to similar tours we did from the USVI side and Hawaii this summer. Highly recommend!
Beautiful sailing with a fun crew. The first stop had a nice hike to a bubbly pool and opportunity to swim. Second stop had options for lunch but crowded. The crew were very friendly, plenty of beverage options, and very nice lunch. We’re going on another tour tomorrow.
We had a great day at sea on the Sugar Rush. The crew was attentive and friendly. Captain Flo and First mate Lady were focused on safety and making the day enjoyable for everyone. They took us to some amazing snorkel spots and made sure our kids had a good time if they didn’t want to snorkel. The Caves are beautiful with lots of fish to see. We swam with incredible sea turtles at Bight on Norman Island. The crew offered fun facts about the islands and the sea creatures. They took us to Kelly’s Cove where we saw a huge school of fish swimming right beside us. The food and drink options on the boat were awesome. No one went hungry. Our whole family loved it! It was a beautiful day with Aristocat Daysails. Thank you so much!!
Very professional/proficient captain/co-captain. The boat was clean and well organized. Plenty of beverage options during the day and the lunch was delicious. We were lucky in that there were only 13 customers on our boat, which is maybe half of what it might have been; I am not sure if it all would have been as comfortable with a "full boat". The sailing was good the day we went, which was great. We enjoyed all the stops/swimming/snorkeling opportunities we had. It was a great way to spend a day in/around Tortola.
The destination stops, lunch and snorkeling were once in a lifetime opportunities; however, the sea was incredibly rough on our day and given the size of the boat, it was a harrowing experience getting to the snorkeling spots. We wonder, after the fact, if the boat should have even left the dock that day. Having said that, our captain, Jerry, was very knowledgeable, and did his best to navigate the rough seas. Jerry was great during the trip, sharing stories of the islands, but for the price we paid, we felt it was awkward that we had to help tie off the boat and raise the ladder. Overall, we loved Jerry and the experience of snorkeling in the caves, but would hope in the future that more caution is taken when deciding whether to go out into rough seas on that size boat.
