Jamie is an excellent guide. He works very hard to ensure a successful fishing expedition. He has great fishing gear and a good fishing boat. He brings food and refreshments and a great attitude.
Tried to book a 1/2 day on the water fishing through FishingBooker.com. My reservation was then cancelled and then reopened by “The Captain”. This was fine… but the price had gone up 300$ Canadian. “The Captain” and Fishingbooker.com left me on read.
We had an awesome day long sight seeing tour. Saw so much different sea life and great views. Snorkeling was AWESOME. Staff could not have been more wonderful. Lifetime memories!

Trips are offered to know the bays it is highly recommended the rays are beautiful it is an unforgettable experience
(Translated by Google) It is a very well organized cooperative that takes you to enjoy the most emblematic places in Huatulco, in addition to being aware of their conservation. In addition to the bays, they take you to other places such as the Manglares de la Ventanilla, Mazunte, Puerto Ángel, Las Cascadas, etc. Messrs. Neri Pinacho and Miguel (I don't remember his last name) attended to us. The service was excellent, super punctual when looking for us at the hotel, in addition to recommending very good places to have breakfast.
(Translated by Google) Boat tours are big scams. Excessively expensive for the actual tour (all the bays on the tour are half an hour or less away, and in most cases they can be reached by land). I think it's not worth taking a boat but rather going directly to the bay called playa la delivery (by land), where you can snorkel for a very good price (100 pesos free time), without paying for useless transportation. Additionally, credit card charges add 16% of the amount (clearly VAT, which they would not pay if you gave the money in cash). In general, I do not recommend taking this type of tour, especially those in front of the port.
(Translated by Google) The 7 bays tour lasts 7 hours because the catamaran is very slow. I recommend a private boat which doesn't cost much and goes fast. The catamaran stops you to eat in a bad place which they themselves warn you is bad when you are about to arrive and they leave you there for 2 hours in addition to being expensive. Better to just go see the bays from afar so as not to disturb the fauna.

Was looking for textiles to take home as souvenirs, stumbled upon this amazing little shop. Family owned and operated they’ll happily show you their products, how they make them, meanings behind each pattern, and especially how they dye their yarn. Incredible artistry! As one of the artists said “made here, not in china”. Must do if you’re in town!
The people who work here are very friendly and they don't follow you around and hound you to buy things. There is an ancient loom there and they will be happy to demonstrate how it is used. The tapestries are beautiful and the clothing is great quality.
Very pricey and no real guarantee the work is local, handmade. There will be a guy who follows you around that makes you nervous. Big reason I did not buy the little carpet.
Hard to find handmade goods of Oaxaca. Each piece is a one of a kind with a high level of craftsmanship. Expert knowledge from the staff to help you understand and appreciate the art of their culture. Not a cheap souvenir shop, this place is high end art for your home with a real labor of love from the people to you.
Handmade textiles. They give you the prehispanic history on textile making. Very interesting and the wares are beautiful.
Helpful service. Great selection of hand made textiles from across Oaxaca.
The goods for sale were of high quality. However, I was extremely disappointed to find that, after buying a small wall hanging for $5000 pesos ($400 CDN), I could have bought the exact same woven article for $1800 pesos ($146 CDN) from a weaver located a short distance away in Santa Cruz.
Real artisans. Good place to buy quality souvenirs/gifts handmade.

We had an amazing experience with this dive school! The staff was incredibly helpful and professional, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout. The underwater photos they provided were stunning and truly captured the beauty of the marine life. We are very satisfied and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable diving adventure!
Amazing experience diving with Anfibios. You are diving with Alejandro who is someone who’s extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind! Couldn’t have asked for a better dive master. The meeting place is close to the main accommodations of the town. We left around 9 and went to a beautiful site where most of the corals are in the area. The light was absolutely beautiful on it as we ascended towards the surface. On our way to our second site, we were lucky enough to see a whale and a turtle and had a delicious good amount of fresh fruits. Again couldn’t recommend Anfibios enough. Book with complete peace of mind!
What an incredible experience from 1st contact to post dive. Alejandro was very quick with communication and was easy to set up the dive. We had 8 divers all at different levels from those who had never dove to those that have open water certificates, Alejandro and his crew were amazing with all. He and his crew were super knowdelable not only about Scuba but also the area and terrain. He was easy to find, made the dive and equipment easy for us, post dive even had fresh fruit avaliable for us. We would 100% dive with him again.
We enjoyed our dives with Alex and his son! Diving equipment, pick up and drop off, and pictures are all included in the price given on their website and I found this to be the best deal in the area when I researched all the local dive shops. We saw plenty of fish, eels, starfish, turtles, an octopus (first time for me and we used to scuba in Belize every year), and spotted eagle rays.
I planned two dives with anfibios diving and would definitely go again. The dive sites were amazing and gear was good. They always dive in small groups and we were unexpectedly spoiled with water and fresh fruit. Easy to arrange the dive with Alejandro and his sons.
Knowledgeable instructor! He suits the dives for your skill level and wastes no time 🙂. Originally was aiming to do a couple of dives but ended up doing loads and a course🤣. Night diving was amazing with illuminesance and we experienced a number of mini caves. Photos and videos were taken and give at no charge 😍 Highly recommended.
I had the best time diving with Alejandro! The two dive sites we went to were amazing! Saw so many eagle rays and different marine life. They even took us for a closer look at some whales in the boat. He’s very knowledgeable about the area and I love that it’s a family business. I definitely recommend diving with him when you come to Huatulco!
I loved the experience. Alex and his son are extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Alex was a great teacher and very patient. He did a really good job at making us feel secure and that we enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend them.

This course is a gem and the only one I know of on the Oaxaca coast! It is challenging, very well manicured, and absolutely beautiful! There are 2 holes on the ocean, and the rest have amazing mountain views. Practice balls on the range, as many beers that you can drink and carts are included in the green fees. Caddies are inexpensive and super helpful with yardage, greens, and finding lost balls. I hit more than a few into the bush, and they found them all. I've played this course numerous times, and every time, I felt like we were the only ones out there. The restaurant at the clubhouse has really good food as well.
This course is challenging and awesome. We played twice at this course with a caddy Named Mario. Mario knew the distance in every aspect and recommended which club to use. As I mentioned above played twice we recommend Mario again. Mario gave us pointers and I have to say it corrected my game . I would highly recommend playing this course to any player. It’s a bit pricey, but well worth it ! Thank you for providing an excellent golf experience
This course is always in great shape! It's a challenging layout with large trees and lots of water that will challenge your skills. The greens are always smooth and true. It's worth the cost for a very well manicured and maintained course.
This course is beautiful. The conditions were excellent. Both the tee boxes and greens were well cared for. Also, the restaurant is very good!
It's very beautiful and I here the breakfast is really good. However I had and was very disappointed the spaghetti was salty, the ravioli was al dente. The salmon salad was ok at best. I will give them another chance for breakfast
Great course with a challenging layout. We used rental clubs which were just ok. Bring your sticks and play a couple rounds, you will have a great time. Replay was only $40 so plan a full day to take advantage and get the most bang for your buck. The staff will keep you well hydrated!!
The course is kept in great shape, also not many people on the course so pace of play is great, the beverage cart is always very timely with cold refreshments! Love this place, well worth the cost!
Gorgeous setting, friendly service, terrible food. While we looked at menus, we were offered an order of "pane Francese" (French bread) by the waiter and we accepted. But what arrived was a big plate of French TOAST. We refused the order, a second waiter corrected the first waiter - "tost Franchese" vs "pane Franchese". The coffee came with creamers clearly labeled as synthetic - we asked for some real milk and the coffee was cold by the time the milk arrived. We ordered a sweet bun and got a basket with 4 small pastries that tasted like sugared paper. We ordered eggs benedict and they were terrible, like the chef had never had hollondaise sauce and clearly didn't know the difference between benedict and Florentine because there was both ham and spinach under the egg. The tiny amount of sauce tasted exactly like egg yolk mixed with a bit of oil, no butter flavour. We ordered a large salad - arrived a miniscule salad with dried out grated carrot and bruised raw mushrooms, bruised apple slices, transparent pink tomato slices, and literally just a few decorative dots of dressing on the plate, as well as a confusing smear of bottled hoisin sauce. When we complained that it looked nothing like that large salad in the menu photo, we were told "seasonal vegetables change". To be clear - mushrooms and lettuce are NEVER in season in this area where it rains only 2 months out of the year. We had seen the very same old white mushrooms for sale in a local supermarket the day before. And missing were the olives, cheese, diced onions (ALWAYS in season), and, well, three quarters of the salad. We refused the order. The absolutely best parts were the fresh squeezed orange and green juices, the beautiful setting, and, indeed, the order of French TOAST covered in fruit, nuts, and whipping cream actually looked great, but I don't eat so much sugar. The service was friendly if not exactly efficient. So maybe the French toast and fresh juice in the Garden of Eden setting is the way to go!

Wonderful experience... great massage and some of the best people in the business 👍 I'd definitely recommend 👌
Facilites are great. Went in for the packaged Temezcal, mud bath, massage deal which was nice. As a native Mexican was promised unlimited Tamazcal sauna time at the front desk, before proceeding with timed massage. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Staff kept pressuring me to leave the sauna at their convenience to move to the next phase of the program. Given the high cost associated with it, I found such demands unreasonable and deceiving. The mud bath and massage were fine but nothing earth shattering either. Staff felt complacent and not very friendly.
Not worth the price. Loud cars, construction noise, and zero sense of peace definitely not the relaxing spa experience I expected. The owner straight-up called me a gringa after asking where I was from, despite me being Mexican and my family actively living in Mexico. Super judgmental and off-putting. He also wouldn’t stop talking about his personal life and politics which made it hard to enjoy anything. The entire vibe felt rushed, they literally timed my shower and gave me barely 30 seconds to rinse off oils and sweat. There are way better spas where you’ll actually be respected and left in peace. This place isn’t it, unless you enjoy being judged and shortchanged by a loud, arrogant owner.
My sister and I had a wonderful, relaxing experience here. First there was a steam bath with herbs in a traditional hut, then relaxing live music and aromatherapy, then the traditional mud applied and washed off. Skin never felt better! We opted for 30 min messages and wish we did even longer! Super relaxing and wonderful people working there. The massage therapists were professional and fantastic! My sister said the best she’s ever had and she has had many! we highly recommend, best place in town, well worth it! Es un buene lugare con simpatico gente!
Ana y Laura están las mejores masoterapeutas en todo el mundo. Gracias para los masajes relaciones. I hope I said that right. I speak a little bit of Spanish but not well. We had one of the most amazing experiences of our lives at this place. We booked the "premium package" which included the Temezcal, aromatherapy, music therapy, hydrotherapy, a scrub with virgin mud, tea and a 90 minute massage with Ana and Laura. It would be difficult to choose my favorite part as each part had its own highlights. The temezcal was very nice and very mediative. They brought the temperature up slowly and allowed you to go until you were ready to get out. The music therapy was a spiritual experience and brought in a lot of elements from ancient Mayan culture. The massages were excellent, among the best we've had, and we've had a lot of them around the world. Overall, a magical experience for my wife and I. Most of the staff speaks very little English, but we expected that since they live in a Spanish speaking country. We speak broken Spanish and were able to communicate just fine.
Staff was nice but there wasn’t a guide so it was pretty much just a stream room.
My first time experiencing a Temazcal. I had an idea of what it entailed, but it was nothing compared to what I expected. I had an amazing experience. I sat in the temazcal the entire time and could not believe the amount of vapor and sweat in that tiny room. The aromatic herbs were so healing and calming. I have no complaints and would definitely do it again!
We went as a couple. One massage (mine) was ok, my wife’s was bad .

Great guide, nice ride to the beach in the national forest from the bike/guide shop. Refreshments were provided. Friendly people and bike was in great working order.
Friendly service though a bit pricey for 1 week $1500 pesos. $500 peso deposit is reasonable. But the bike was in very poor condition, the water bottle holder was broken and the helmet had screws in it. lol It had no lights or reflectors. The gears we're skipping on every hill making it very difficult to ride. We should have just returned it after the first day.
Gracias to the family at easy bikes Huatulco! Very friendly and helpful in answering our questions about touring the area. We did three days and loved it. Great way to experience Huatulco. :) We would definitely recommend renting here, their bicycles and their service are quality. <3
This business seems primarily for tours and bicycle rentals. I would not recommend renting a scooter/motorcycle. The first scooter that I rented appeared very beaten up and the gas gauge didn’t work. They exchanged it for me the following day with one that appeared much better but it turned out to have more mechanical issues than the first. It seemed like the fuel line got clogged based on my experience. Overall I would be very diligent if you decide to rent from here, you’re not just given a scooter that is necessarily “ready to ride”.
Hi, I have rented a bicycle XL (my size!). Weekly rate is much better. 1100 per week. Also got a moped for 450 a day. Helmets and locks are given free, there is a whatsup # to call for road assistance or changes. No deposit, solo ID. Good place to practice Spanish. Miguel Angel is a good guy. I will come back.
Be warned! They kept my full 500 peso deposit because someone stole the battery for the light. 500 pesos is the most expensive battery I’ve seen! Otherwise the bike was serviceable but as it was 1200 pesos for the week I think another 500 for the battery was very opportunistic.
Nice bike rentals at fair prices (250 pesos for 24hrs, you leave a 500 pesos deposit), but they need to put lights and bells on all their bikes for a safer ride.
Super service, great recommendations and bikes in good condition!

Not a museum, more like a shop. Edit : thanks for the clarification, Indeed it was an amazing place, full of culture and history. The work is meticulous and it’s amazing that you can see people working the way their grandparents did. I loved it. I sure didn’t clarify my words on my last comment enough. Please excuse my clumsiness.
As others have said, this really is a store and not a museum, though they only sell crafts and not things like keychains or other souvenirs. A good place to get weavings, sculptures, or alebrijes, but if you walk around you'll see similar things in most of the shops, and depending on what you are looking for you may have better luck elsewhere. If you're shopping in the area though you'll definitely want to at least stop here and take a look, since it won't take long.

Nightclub with great music and dancing. The mermaid was stunning, made my night .
This is not the bar being advertised in the photos. La Papaya is the WORST bar I’ve ever been to, no exaggeration. The smallest dancefloor with nobody dancing, and the servers creepily staring at you the whole time. When the bill came, they overcharged us with DOUBLE the amount of drinks!!!! When I tried to argue they surrounded me and my friend, forcing us to pay. Then they grabbed us by the arms and threw us out. While some excessive drinking was certainly a factor in this nightmare of a situation, this does not excuse how blatantly the staff will exploit it’s customers. If you are a tourist (especially a woman) DO NOT go here, Mandarine right next door is so much better, incredibly friendly staff.
Decent drinks and good service. The party just starts late. It started filling up at midnight on weekends but no one was dancing except 1 or 2 people. Don’t know if it’s the ambiance or if people need to get super drunk before dancing but it was very low energy. We left at 1am because it didn’t seem like it was going to start.
It’s boring here on Friday & people don’t dance toward the end! They lied about mermaids 🧜🏼‍♀️ the Sherk said they would come out at 1am but they didn’t
Always a fun time there, better than the suite (the other club in town)
Great fun! Wonderful staff and very lovely.
Over priced and rude wait staff. I do not recommend this place especially if you’re not a local. The prices on the menu are not the prices the waiters try to scam from you. They will try to take advantage of you and push you to pay to sit and then pay extra for alcohol that is not even on the menu. We walked out as soon as we walked in and the waiter called my husband a rude name as we walked away. We went down stairs to get our cover back (we were there less than 5 minutes). We had to get through three people to finally talk to the manager who finally gave us our cover fee back and seemed upset about our experience. But based on the reviews, it’s the wait staff and bartenders that need training or firing, not the nice greeters and management downstairs who lure you in. There are plenty of options for live music and I’d suggest you go anywhere but here.
Lousy place and lousy service, I do not recommend it for tourists, not even the waiters know where it is correct to sit or they sit you in a place and move you, I asked for help and they never solved my problem, horrible place. Terrible bathrooms and exorbitant prices, don’t goooo!

Great place for dinner with cool atmosphere and great service. The "Late Aguacate" burger was awesome and I love the craft beer "O tu o ninguna".
Awful attention! Take for ever to attend They put more ice than beverage. Do not Recomend!
Not the right place to order an Aperol Spritz. Though they claim they can make one, it came without bubbles (they later clame there was Prosecco in it, but it was old so had no more bubbles), without orange slice, and it looked like nothing but a package orange juice with a bit of Aperol into it - at double the price of other cocktails in the menu (180 pesos)... In general the service is below the average of Huatulco, and the prices higher.
Food service was a little slow as almost no-one was there. The hamburger was excellent through, very tasty, nice .eat, big. Service otherwise was good.
They were so nice and helped us get a taxi and celebrate a birthday
Nice bar to have a drink. And eat las tlayudas.
Loved it so much, drank a lot. Everybody was very nice.
