My little 4 year old and I had a private lesson each with Brigette and Nicole who were amazing! Nicole took my little girl on a green run which she totally loved and Bridgette took me, a very nervous novice down the nursery run. She was so calm with amazing techniques that really clicked, totally changing how my feet felt in the boots and my over all control. It was just the confidence boost I needed to get going again after having only skied in and indoor snow centre in the UK which is quite different. The lessons were worth every penny, I’d definitely recommend ESF. Huge thank you Bridgette and Nicole 💜
It seems like a busy week, but allowing to have 14 kids per instructor doesn’t leave a lot of time per student. So value for money (it is not cheap) is definitely mostly benefiting ESF. No doubt the instructor has a high technical knowledge and training themselves, however in terms of making a student feel welcome, in the case my daughter, that is completely absent. That doesn’t create a good environment for learning and enjoying the experience. It is most like a result of her not speaking French, as it was clear that other kids got all the attention from the teacher. it takes very little to make a kid feel welcomed. I will not recommend nor use the school again for my non-French speaking kids.
Our both sons from 3 and 4 olds joined a group lesson last week. Very patience and kind instuctors. The boys makes also good progression. Would really recommend them.
Wow! Worth every penny! So we had both snowboarding and skiing instruction from Agathe. Firstly, I’m incredibly impressed at the skill; training and professionalism required to become an ESF instructor and so I have the utmost respect for all ESF personnel. Agathe very quickly gauged our experience and how we learnt; our strengths and our weaknesses, and tailored her tutoring so that by the end of our holiday we were cruising down red routes from Pointe du Masse quite happily. What’s more, we learnt so much about general safety on the mountains; the best places for hot chocolate and how to look after our kit too. Agathe is exceptionally talented and we are very grateful to have had the privilege of her tuition. We learnt so much from Agathe!
I got Laurent J or Jay or (G in French) im not so sure But he was the best instructor I have ever had. I can hit blue slope on day 3 He really knows how to communicate! I was super insecure about my ski and the hight! And i was panic the whole time .. once I did a course with Laurent it was soooooo much better. Even the staff at reception was super nice. I recommend this school
Great experience in beginner class with Jocelyne, one of the best ski teachers that I’ve ever meet. Her pedagogical skills are impressive, she was very patient with us and at the end of the week we all managed to be autonomous and to gain our self confidence on the slopes of Les 3 Vallées!
We have just returned from a week in Les Menuires where our children (6 and 4) were booked into ski school with ESF for the week. My daughter was very upset on the first day as she had been assessed by ESF and put into a class too advanced for her. She had also been pushed by another child and when clearly upset she was shouted at, told she was not a good skier and was holding up the class. When I booked my son into Pioupiou I was advised that there were only afternoon lessons available. I was asked if I wanted to book him in for 5 or 6 afternoons (as we had arrived on a Sunday). I booked and paid for 6 afternoon lessons. My son got on well in the classes during the week however when we arrived for his class on Saturday I was told that he had missed it as Saturdays there were only morning lessons. We were not told this when we booked the lessons or by the instructors that week. When I asked for a refund for Saturday's lesson, I was told I should have had an email confirming the times but I had not received this. ESF admitted it was their error but refused to refund me for the day he missed. I will not be using ESF again.
This is our experience with ESF Les Menuires group snowboard lessons for newbies: - The website asks which language your child speaks, and google labels www.esf-uk.co.uk as "English Speaking Ski Schools in France", yet all group instructions are only given in French, "because this is a French school". I'm ok with it being a French school, but adverts are very obviously misleading. - ESF website tells you snowboard lessons are for kids from 6 years old, yet you can't register anyone who's younger than 8. - The instructors 90% of time focus on the average student - for us it was around 12 year old French speaker. The ages of kids in the group were from 8 to approx 15 years, quite a difference. At least half of instructors are decent and kind when they finally decide to pay attention to a child struggling e.g. to get up after falling. But it may take 5 minutes for the instructors to finally pay attention to a struggling kid. - The instructors speak good English, still UK kids may struggle to parse the accent - The group was around 20 kids (and 4 instructors). At least first few lessons kids most stand/sit, waiting for everyone to do an exercise in turn (but those who fail still wouldn't get help soon enough) - The school is designed for die hard French-speaking kids who wouldn't mind being neglected and left on their own, and ideally are at the top 25% ranked by fitness, learning ability and age within the group. Others may have psychological and physical traumas. Good stuff: - when we dropped out from the group, it was possible to transfer the remaining credit to 1 private lesson, which was much more useful and nice

We arrived as complete beginners—two adults and one child—and took three private lessons. Our teacher was Jules, incredibly attentive, finding the perfect approach for each of us. He allowed our child to have fun, focused on our technique, and supported us through moments of fear. By the end of just three lessons, we progressed from total beginners to confidently riding green slopes on our own. Afterward, our child joined group classes with Teo, where he continued to develop his skills while having fun with new friends. The school and its instructors are fantastic, and we highly recommend them. We’ll definitely return!
I joined a 5-day beginner skiing class with Patrice as my instructor. He was the best instructor I could have asked for. He was patient and really good at explaining what I had to do and where I was going wrong. Thanks to his positive attitude, he managed to get me out of my fear of skiing and made me fully enjoy the sport. Thanks Patrice!
Had an amazing week in group lessons with our instructor Patrice. He was very patient and challenged us all week! We also had a couple of extra private lessons with other instructors who were very knowledgeable and encouraging! We were complete beginners when we arrived but was no issue!
We took first timer lessons for four days with Patrice in prosneige school. And we nailed the blue slopes on our 5th day without instructor with our experienced friends without falls. Very clear instructions/tips given to learn in fast way. Patrice is the best!🤍
Having a good few weeks of snowboarding (and falls) behind me, I wasn't sure about taking lessons, but it was totally worth it and would highly recommend. Nico was brilliant at giving each of us one-on-one tips and guidance on what we needed to focus on, re-enforcing the basics and building up our skills every day, getting to a point where I got to really let go of my fear and enjoy boarding again at a new level. Nico's patience, expertise, and knowledge of the area meant for a fantastic week, and I'm so glad I went for doing lessons again to get to the next level with confidence and skill. Thank you Nico!!!
Wonderful experience with Prosneige, and particularly with Andrea. I booked a 6 day intermediate group ski lessons which took me from a nervous skier to a confident skier able to complete some challenging runs at the end of my holiday. Andrea was patient and helpful with all members of the group, and made the whole week enjoyable and fun. I was particularly pleased with being placed in an adults group of like minded individuals who were all encouraging and good natured. Would recommend to anyone going to three valleys as they have hubs in most locations. Sessions were 3 hours every morning 9-12.
I planned to write the Google review a year ago, but somehow I forgot to do it. I think it's very important to mention this. I had a very good experience following lessons at Prosneige with Andrea. He is the best ski instructor in my opinion. He is experienced, relaxed, explains the technique well, and last but not least, he is very patient. I really enjoyed skiing with him. I am very grateful! Grazie Andrea!" In general I highly recommend the school.
We had a wonderful week at Les Menuires, where we thoroughly enjoyed the professional training and guidance of the Prosneige snowboarding and ski instructors - Hugo, Jean-Luca and Barbara. The staff at the shop were equally helpful and knowledgeable. We hope to return again next year and will certainly book in again for instruction. Many thanks to all at Prosneige.

Les Menuires is good choice for a friends' ski trip. Part of the massive 3 Vallées, The place is affordable compared to fancier neighbors like Courchevel. It’s more functional than pretty, ski access is excellent, and the modern lifts keep queues short. Good-value group accommodations near the slopes make it a practical pick. Ideal for fun-focused groups wanting great skiing without the luxury price tag.
Nice friendly ski resort nestled within the 3 valleys in the Savoie region. There is a good variety of accommodation from St Martin de Belleville up through the villages and in Les Menuires, Les Breyeres within resort. There are a good variety of slopes, though the area is quite open and therefore prone to wind, but less so than Val Thorens above. There is an excellent variety of shops in la croisette with a small supermarket, ski and gift shops, delicatessen and a fab bakery. The area alone is enough for a beginner and early intermediate. Others can extend their pass to easily get to Val Thorens, Mottaret, Meribel and Courchevel areas in a day. We enjoy staying in the villages of Saint Marcel and Levassaix for the authentic atmosphere. My only negative is that the main run back is often very churned up and a real leg killer at the end of a day, so make sure you save some energy for this on returning to base!
One of the most underrated stations of the "3 vallées" domain. Excellent access, excellent entertainment and shopping opportunities (covered as well as on ski front). Great access to slopes with a large domain even with a "Les Menuires only" ski pass. Also very active in summer.
A great variety of pistes to ski for all abilities. Fantastic access to all of the three valleys ski area, we needed longer here to cover the area it's so huge ! Good lifts with minimal waiting times even when it was busy. A great family friendly resort with fabulous views, skiing, restaurants and shops. We will definitely return !
Jan 2024. First time in "Les tois valees". We stayed in Les Menuires at Les Clarines hotel. Awesome resort. Had to buy own toilet paper which was a first but hey, it didn't put us off 🤣 It was ski in/ski out which quite literally means " for skiers"not for boarders.....but a short walk to the free lift which takes you up to a short walk to the main gondala and chair lifts. 3 bars at the bottom of the piste into LeasMenuires. Easy access to Val Thorens, Meribel & Corchevel. Some great restaurants in Les Menuires. The 3 valleys is immense with over 600 km of pistes. Will take a few years to venture down all of them. Already looking at booking for 2025!.....🤪👍
Skiing from Les Menuires is awesome. Great connections to the rest of the 3 valleys for some seriously big ski days. From Les Menuires I recommend morning on La Masse, then up Sunny for the pixel park and Becca, then the long run down to St Martins. Beautiful skiing to suit all abilities. My favourite place to ski.
Good point of access to Val Thorens. Spoiled somewhat by some busy blue runs plagued by irresponsible skiers/boarders travelling at ridiculous speed through the novice skiers. It's only a matter of time before someone is killed or seriously injured here.
Riberty area is class for great ski access, accommodation and food plus reasonable ski and grocery shops.

Staff at Les Bruyeres are fantastic, friendly and helpful. We visited all 3 spas - all were great (VT newly opened). The peace and tranquility at Les Bruyeres was the one we kept returning to. For €76 euros for 6 days we felt was well worth it. I also had a facial which was highly relaxing (exactly what I wanted!) We would thoroughly recommend a visit to the spas after fun on the slopes. Thank you to Les Bruyeres staff for being so amazing and making our stay extra special!
Nice place but really cold - although the showers were warm ??? Why make the pool so much colder?
Don’t come here if you want to feel comfortable and actually relax. Grown men will film you in the spa and the staff will allow it and let them continue their relaxing time. I do not recommend coming here at all. Don’t waste your time and money on this place.
Nothing better than hot relaxing water after all day skiing. Unfortunately here this is only available in the showers while the pool is so cold our daughter was shivering… the spa section might be warmer but they do not allow kids
There is a decent swimming pool, modern and clean. Fun for the kids as it had a small circular lazy river, some jets and sprays and a (very short) slide. Take your own towels as whilst you can hire them, it is 5 euros per towel! Separately there is a spa area with hot tubs and they do massages etc.
Very expensive and very bad service... We paid for the pool (it is very poor and cold) and when we wanted to upgrade it for the spa we had to pay the full (!) price again.... Broken and cold showers. Not recommended...
It was great, the masseuse Kamil kept was excellent, and the staff was very welcoming🙏
Brilliant, especially if you have kids and want a change from skiing or its really bad weather

As my second Winter Season in Les Menuires I have to say that this year was by far the Best. The Staff was Amazing, Friendly and very Professional, especially Laura and Stand! I hope next winter will be the same staff again (but maybe with an upgrade to the gym equipment 😆)!
Jakuzzi is cold and every part of the floor is unhygienic. For that high price I DO NOT recommend
If you’re looking for peace and relaxation, this might not be the right spa for you. The pool is essentially a large toddler wading pool, and the place is overcrowded to the point where you have to queue for the jacuzzis. Every lounge chair is “reserved” with a towel, yet no one actually uses them. On top of that, it’s quite noisy. There are children everywhere, and despite the signs asking for silence, many adults ignore them and chat loudly. The staff doesn’t intervene, which makes it difficult to fully relax. That said, if you set your expectations low, it’s an okay spa. The sauna experience is decent, and it’s a relief that there are three different saunas to accommodate the crowds. But if you’re hoping for a quiet and peaceful escape, look elsewhere.
I'm only commenting on pool&spa. It was a pleasant experience: the place looks quite recent, is very clean and proper to go. Pool is 25m and gives stunning view on the mountains. Wellness area is not huge, so best to go during lunch time, but it's also fresh and good. I missed having some drinks to relax more, but otherwise worth going. Best to take your own towels: renting them is quite pricey!
Place is decent with good amenities for the pricing, but the people aren’t very educated when it comes to lane swimming (there are no rules) and when leaving the changing room, after a shower you have to enter the same dirty puddle of ugly unchanged water.
The swimming and spa experience is fine (4/5) for what you can expect. HOWEVER the personel is very unwilling to assist you in anything and they can't be reasoned with. The baggage drop wasn't what you'd expect. You have to pay €3 per bag but if you pay for them as a group you can only retrieve them all at once and not per bag. They get mad at you if yoh stay a few minutes while waiting for you bus. Can't have anything nice in France.
great spot for the little ones to burn off some extra energy when they've had enough skiiing. Fantastic soft play area and trampolines, close to the attractions of Les Menuires, €10 per head (babies are free). Great afternoon
Really good place to spend the day if there is bad weather. The squash courts are in pretty good condition. Swimming pool is ok but a bit small. there are a couple of sauna's and a steam room (hammam) which are good. The gym is well equipped but sometimes v busy. you can rent swimming costumes towels racquets shoes etc if you forgot them!

A great team, very dedicated. Our family spent a pleasant 8 days here, and everyone's skills have been greatly improved.
Oxygene was a friendly and efficient company to book private snowboard and freestyle lessons with. The initial communication to book the lessons were clear and they were able to cater for our family's requirements. The two snowboard instructors were great - after my first half hour I was going down a blue! Enzo was a very relaxed and proficient instructor who made the freestyle lesson very enjoyable. Enzo planned the lesson around what the boys wanted to achieve and provided excellent customer service - the first lesson was cut short due to a significant change in visibility and Oxygene offered the remaining 1.5hours of the lesson on another day. I would recommend this company.
A fantastic and professional team. We hired a personal ski instructor within 24 hrs of arriving in Les Menuires. The instructor was both informative and patient with the adult beginners in our group. After one 2 and a half hour session we felt comfortable that we could handle the beginner slopes in the area. We had an amazing trip that was based on our initial instruction from Oxygene!
We signed up for a group ski lesson at the end of our first day. It ended up just being the two of us and we had Pascale as our instructor. She was fantastic and everything we needed as two new skiers! She took us on some great runs, up the lifts and gave us the confidence and skill to really get going for our week of skiing. Massive thanks to Pascale, we would highly recommend her to anyone!
Had two brilliant private snowboard lessons with Daniel at Oxygène. This is my third year snowboarding (having never skiid/done any board sports before in my life) and progression has been frustratingly slow, due mainly to nerves. In just two lessons, however, my technique and confidence have improved hugely, all thanks to Daniel's excellent teaching. Many thanks!!
My 6 year old son had lessons with Françoise in Reberty, Les Menuires. His English was excellent, it was really easy for the children to understand everything. He made lessons fun and really cared for them. My son also did lunch club some days and the staff seemed really friendly in that too. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Oxygene again.
Brilliant ski school…the third year we have used Oxygène in a row. Smaller groups, instructors who are really passionate about getting the best out of the kids and making it lots of fun too. Our 9year old and 6year old really loved their week, thank you.
I booked a 3 hour private lesson for 3 kids and me. We had Chris as an instructor who after some initial understanding of our expectations and experience, followed by assessment of our skiing, took us off piste. This was a first time experience for all of us and there was some initial nervousness. However with Chris’ excellent coaching and guidance all of us thoroughly enjoyed it and were buzzing by the end of it. All the kids commented how it helped their confidence to ski more challenging slopes and terrain. I would definitely do this again and also recommend Oxygene for their prior service as well as the instruction. Thank you!

Stef (very tall Belgium) Geneva to Avoriaz and return last week. An excellent driver, working for an excellent company. We have used this company for a few years now (last year we had Jim the Scotish guy, a true gentleman). Our large Party of 8 are always impressed wiith Mountain Express service. Express.
Our experience with this company was pretty awful. They changed drivers at the last minute, we were picked up 45 minutes late after many phone calls, and the replacement driver seemed pretty clueless. For instance, he dropped us off on a road adjacent to the gare routière instead of at the gare SNCF. They are fortunately next to one another. But given it was only 5 minutes before our train departure, it was less than ideal. I would never, ever use this company again due to the unnecessary stress and unprofessionalism they exhibited. To top it all off, they didn’t even follow up with an apology for the appalling service. That just about says it all, doesn’t it?
As few people who often drive in Savoie it is easy to identify mountain express Over speed, driving extremely close of the front car overtake by the right Do offensing sign with finger if you don’t overtake cars with high speed. Unfortunately as many company who operate only winter only cash is the motivation safety is not part of the service. The driver at 14:40 today in Moutier tunnel should not have a driving license road is not a race circuit.
Excellent service! Cars were hood (brand new Mercedes van and good VW van). Drivers were very polite and friendly. Traffic was being monitored by the service provider and routes/times were adjusted to ensure that we won't miss the plane.
We recently used mountain express for return transfers from les Menuire to Geneva Airport. The contact and communication was excellent throughout - the drivers were punctual and helpful. The vehicles were well maintained. There prices were incredibly good value and I would recommend them to friend and family.
Brilliant experience with our recent ski transfer. Two lovely drivers very safe and friendly and can't fault anything. Punctual, good communications and nice vehicles. Highly recommended.
Super transfer with Razvan today to Tignes where the last KM was heavy snow and carnage with people driving up and not putting on chains. Took the back roads to avoid 90min delay on the main motorway. Then great calm driving avoiding stuck cars in the heavy snow to get us to our Chalet. Sensible choice to have VW synchro vans. Made all the difference.
Great experience with this transfer company. Comfortable and quick, and were super helpful to rearrange transfer to a different airport when our flight was cancelled at short notice.

Best club I’ve ever been to. (They paid me to write this)
This place was simply incredible… the music came out of a single microscopic speaker in one corner of the club. The vibe was okay, until some bouncers opened a “techno” part of the club, and started taking all winter coats and put them in a wardrobe. You had to pay €2 to get your coat back, and €10 to enter the techno party. Fun fact: the lady behind the bar can at least recommend better bars in menuires center to go to - that was helpful!
DONT GO HERE. They are very unfriendly and unreasonable. For no reason they did not allow us to have our jackets in. In addition, an innocent group of friends was kicked out without any reason. Very weird atmospere, I would definately not recommend to go there.
You go inside and they already try to scam you… you have to give your jacket or even pull(!!) and afterwards they charge you to get it back… it’s crazy… don’t go here!
Never go here or don't wear a coat! Very unprofessional staff with 0 service.
Horrible club, do not go there
