One of my most favorite places to walk the dog in Hayes and Harlington area. What I love about it most is huge open spaces, river, beautiful old trees, apple orchard, an old church and biggest blackberry bushes you heave ever seen full of fruit in the Summer... Somehow all the dog walkers I meet there are super friendly and we always come back happy. It is located near Heathrow airport and you hear and see the airplanes landing and taking off which is loud and might not be everybody's cup of tea but I find it soothing.
Sadly not maintained well. I know it’s supposed to be a nature park, unfortunately it’s extremely overgrown in places. One has to watch where they walk as there’s lots of dog poop everywhere! Website shows coffee shop, this apparently was never finished. Needs routes properly mapped and signposted. Extremely disappointed wouldn’t go back there for a country walk!
Nice park, just be careful as when it rains as it can get really slippery and if your on a bike or a scooter it will be very challenging terrain It also has a tendency to flood when ever it rains so I believe better drainage is needed
A true hidden treasure with wonderful gardens and a fascinating past. If you haven't already, go visit. Stroll around the wooded area and along the trails, or venture off the usual path and through the orchard. Stroll beside the river crane. Parking is provided on the road entrances close to the Cranford Bath roadside or at the main entrance on the M4.
A real hidden gem with such great grounds and amazing history. The site was used by the knights Templar’s and is recorded in the Domesday book. Go and visit if you haven’t already. Walk along the paths and through the forest area / go off the beaten track and through the orchard. Walk along the river crane and visit St. Dunstan’s Church which has some famous residents.
Fantastic spot for a morning jog!
A peaceful escape amongst the hustle and bustle of Heathrow. I’ve lived in the area for nearly 12 years and only discovered this gem recently. Idyllic for an afternoon stroll or a morning run. A beautiful place and escape from the madness of surrounding areas. My favourite area is walking along the stream and taking the top to stop and reflect.
Nice large park. Parking available at the main entrance near the M4 or on the road entrances near cranford bath road side. A river to one side, with open space in the middle of the park with a kids playing area. Not too great to cycle around as its a dirt/mud ground
